Caleb’s challenge to Agostino for a Ladder Match to settle their feud over the Internet Championship backfired as Agostino won back the Internet Championship after a hard fought match, come the first Climax Control of the Into the Void X Cycle Caleb was interviewed by Pussy Willow who asked him if he intended to challenge Agostino again which he confirmed that he didn’t, stating that he had made that challenge to prove that he could win the title legitimately and it was time he moved on.
That ended up being a moot point however as the bosses had already picked Mac Bane as Agostino’s next challenger, but Caleb wasn’t out of the title scene yet as he was competing in a Roulette Title Qualifier Match against his old foe “Bulldog” Bill Barnhart! This was one of four qualifying matches that represented both divisions and the previous week Miles Kasey qualified for the men’s Roulette Title Match whilst Krystal Wolfe broke her months long losing streak to earn a spot in the Bombshell Roulette Championship Match at Into the Void X with Miles beating Lincoln Daniels and Krystal beating Bea Barnhart and Candy, can Caleb get back into the title scene?

I did what I set out to do, abs that’s all I can say.
To be honest, I didn’t even w if the bosses would let my challenge for a rematch for the Internet Championship knowing how much of a control freak, they can be and my reason was simple enough, people said that I wouldn’t have won it on my own and I wanted to prove them wrong, the fact that I am now a two time Internet Champion says it all really, problem is? Agostino is now a two time Internet Champion as well.
But this time around? He won’t be facing me for a while.
“Champion today, future challenger tomorrow.” Katie commented as we sat down in catering, it had been while since the Internet Title Match and I was still reeling from it. “You have any plans for the next Cycle?”
“Moving on from the Internet Title scene mostly.” I shrugged my shoulders in response as I grabbed my drink and took a sip from it. “I wanted the rematch because I wanted to prove that I would’ve won the title without being handed it, I would say that it’s not my fault that it turned into a trilogy of matches between us but, well, that’s a bold faced lie so bad that it would make the average politician blush.”
“Bonus points if they happen to be republican, am I right?” Katie asked with a grin and I nodded in agreement. “So, what is the plan if you’re not going after the Internet Title again?”
“Do I look like a guy with a plan?” I asked and Katie gave me a significant look. “Seriously, I don’t know what I’ll get up to in the next cycle, if I get asked about it by either Pussy or Rocky at the next Climax Control I’ll say as much but I’ll think I’ll just go with the flow.”
“I’ll say this much, I’ll laugh if you somehow end up in title contention again come Into the Void X.” Katie admitted, and I nodded in agreement. “In the meantime, I’ll be continuing my training at the Go Gym.”
“How have things been at the Go Gym, things have been tensing up between Krystal and Carter, right?” I asked and Katie nodded reluctantly.
“Gabriel’s tried to play peacemaker between them but Krystal’s bungled attempt at going into mom mode has driven a big wedge between them.” Katie admitted with a sigh as I took a sip from my drink. “And Krystal’s frustration at not only her losing streak/shitty main roster luck and the Carter situation is not helping matters, and don’t get me started on the whole Fenris situation which will only get worse after the Lion’s Den Match’s aftermath.”
“I’d hate to be Brother David Shepherd at the next episode of Climax Control, that’s for sure,” I commented, and Katie nodded in agreement before we resumed talking about non-wrestling things.

Boy, this has been a wild night.
Like I said to Katie, when I was interviewed by Pussy about going after the Internet Championship again I flatly said no (and it ended up being a moot point since the bosses already had Mac Bane in mind for Agostino’s next challenger) and that I wanted to move on to other things now that I had proven that I could win the Internet Championship on my own, what that something is was something I didn’t know at the time but I now have next week’s card and my answer,
“I’m facing Bill Barnhart again?” I wondered out loud and Katie glanced up from packing up our stuff to leave the arena for home. “And the Barnharts are getting another chance to get in Roulette Title contention to boot!”
“Your match is a Roulette Title Qualifier?” Katie asked and I nodded before showing her the card/ “I’m surprised that was even considered after Bea’s actions against Sam Marlowe earlier tonight but at least Krystal will be in a better mood now that she’s finally won a match on the main roster.”
“And getting a shot at Royal Purple and the Roulette Championship won’t hurt either.” I responded with a nod as I went over the rest of the card. “I know I can beat “Old Fart” Barnhart! I’ve done it twice already! The only difference this time is the fact that I’m getting a Roulette Title opportunity out of it!”
“Don’t get too cocky, Johanna Krieger fell into the same trap and she lost the Roulette Title to Jessie Salco back in October.” Katie pointed out and I nodded in agreement. “Still, you do have more wins than losses over Bill and that’s all that’ll matter come match time, well that and you keeping that streak alive.”
“Yeah, if Bill qualifies for the Roulette Title Match, then Alex’s first title defence will be that much easier, at least with two young guns like me and Milo in the match he’ll have a tougher time.” I responded and Katie nodded in agreement before she finished getting our stuff together. “Anything we’re forgetting or can we head home?”
“Phones? Check, everything else. Check.” Katie responded before she made her way to the door and I followed her. “I’ll make sure to take Lemmy on a quick walk before I leave for the Go Gum tomorrow morning, should make things easier on you.”
“Here’s hoping.” I nodded in agreement before we left the arena.

“When I said that I wanted to move on from the Internet Title scene for now, I meant it! Granted it was a moot point since the bosses had picked Agostino’s first challenger long before I was interviewed by Pussy Willow but the fact that I’m moving on still rings true as this week I’m the latest Superstar to compete in a Roulette Title Qualifying Match and it’s yet another match against “Bulldog” Bill Barnhart, or “Old Fart” Barnhart as I like to call him!”
This will be good.
“Though I must ask, why did they choose Bill for my opponent exactly? It can’t be because of his win/loss record because that hasn’t been spotless and after Bea’s actions on the last episode of Climax Control, I’m almost inclined to think that the Barnharts have blackmail on the bosses, it’s as good an explanation as any to why they keep getting chances at the Mixed Tag Team Titles!”
No matter how many times they fail to win said titles.
“That being said, Bill, I know you said that you intend to get a win back on your way to the Roulette Title Match at Into the Void X but much like I did when we faced off for a spot in the Six Pack Challenge for the World Title at December 2 Dismember, it falls to me to keep “Old Fart” Bill Barnhart out of title contention! I know you want to avenge your wife’s failure at winning her spot in the Bombshell Roulette Title last week but, well, I hope you’ve got another cup of coffee to throw in someone’s face because I don’t see how you’re ending up on PPV otherwise!”
Do you want suggestions?
“As for suggestions? Well provided he shows up again after last week’s annihilation by Tempest, I suggest The Troll because he’s so easy to hate! And speaking of easy, it’s extremely easy for me to win this match because you only beat me once and haven’t been able to repeat that initial performance in the next few times we’ve faced off, hope you make yourself comfortable on the couch Bill because after I beat you, I think your wife will be relegating you to the couch for the rest of the year!”
It’s that simple.
“Bill, you’ve been in this business a lot longer than I have but your repeated failures to do anything off note in SCW tells me one thing, maybe it’s time that you hung up the wrestling boots for good and called it a day! I’d say that you could manage Bea instead but she hasn’t had the same success either so I don’t know what you could do once you finally throw in the towel! But until you do, I’ll continue to beat you in wrestling matches!”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
“It’s a tale as old as time, or Bill, either way it applies! I get paired up in a one on one match against Bill Barnhart, “Old Fart” Bill Barnhart fails to pick up the win and I go onto bigger and better things, in this case it's me getting back in the title scene as a Roulette Title Shot alongside Miles Kasey against Alex Jones at Into the Void X awaits me and this Sunday I’ll earn that opportunity and, well, stop me if you’ve heard this one Bill, you had better brace yourself because there’s a storm brewing, otherwise you’ll be blown away by “The Metal Storm” Caleb Storms, your next Roulette Champion!”
