[Caleb Storms]

 Since he lost the King for a Day Match at High Stakes VII Caleb’s luck seems to have taken a turn for the worst as not only was his open challenge answered by the monstrous Samuel McPherson, but he also lost the Prince to a King Hardcore Streetfight which was ultimately won by Aaron Issacs, this came to ahead on the Climax Control that the Modern-Day Crusader was in charge off where he was attacked backstage by Samuel whilst he was being interviewed by Ms. Rocky Mountains.

But this week he has other things on his mind as Caleb is set to take on one of the other competitors from the King for a Day Match “Big Tiger” Jeremiah Hardin, Jeremiah hasn’t had the best of luck recently himself and now both men where looking to change their fortunes but Caleb was going into this match with one eye open as Samuel could come out and try to cost him the match, can he stay focused and win?

Can’t say that I wasn’t expecting that, can’t really say that I enjoyed that either.

Encase you went for a bathroom break during my segment (in which case, thanks!), I got the crap beaten out of me by Samuel McPherson and I’ve spent the rest of the night being checked out by the medic, I’m not happy about this!

Then again, I’m not sure what I was expecting when I accepted a challenge from someone as big as Samuel, but I digress.

To be honest? I don’t want to wait until our match to get my hands on Samuel because I want to get my revenge now, but the doctor has ordered that I stay put until the end of the show so that he can give me the all clear, the only upside is the fact that I know that the main event between Ben’s Club and London Underground is going on as I sit here so it won’t be that long.

“I knew it was a bad idea to accept Samuel’s challenge last week.” Katie sighed as she watched me get checked on by the doctor whilst sitting on a bed. “But did you listen? No, you just had to go pick a fight with the biggest dog in the yard!”

“Katie, we’ve been through this.” I groaned as I glanced over at her. “My intention was to just set up a match for me, I didn’t think that Samuel would go that far!”

“Yeah well, when your dad decides to call you up and say, “I told you so” over getting into the wrestling business being a bad idea don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Katie responded, and I scoffed in response because we both knew that my response to seeing my dad calling me these days was to immediately hang up. “You’ve checked over him god knows how many times doc, are you done yet?”

“I will be soon.” The doctor responded without looking up at my girlfriend. “You’ll be free to play nurse with your boyfriend before the end of the night, don’t worry!” He added getting laughs from both of us, we heard the bell ring on the TV and we looked up seeing that London Underground had retained the SCW Tag Team Titles and retired Ben’s Club in the process. “And we’re done.”

“Finally.” I muttered under my breath as I stood up from the bed that I had been sitting on and I could tell from the look on Katie’s face that she shared my sentiment. “All I need now is next week’s card.” I added and as if on cue the door opened and a stage hand walked in.

“The bosses have released next week’s card.” The stage hand said before handing it over to me and walking off, I looked over it and I grinned when I saw one of the matches.

“Second match of the night and I’m facing one of the guys from the King for a Day Ladder Match.” I said as I read the match card. “Namely “Big Tiger” Jeremiah Hardin.”

“You mean the former World Champion whose performance in that match and the Prince to the King Street Fight didn’t live up to his resumé’?” Katie asked, and I nodded in response. “Any special stipulations attached or is it just a regular match?”

“Just a regular match, I’m half expecting my next match to be against Samuel Devereux or something.” I shrugged in response before grinning. “Besides, Samuel McPherson pissed me off enough this week that I need someone to take my frustration out on and Jeremiah just so happens to be in my sights.”

“Just remember that you’re not going in there against a fellow newcomer.” Katie responded as we started to walk out of the office and headed towards the car park once we were finally out of there. “Like it or not, your still in there against a guy who’s a former World, Tag Team and Roulette Champion!”

“I know and that will make my victory over him taste that much sweeter.” I responded as we headed towards the parking lot and once we were in it I stopped once realizing that only a handful of cars remained, including our rent car. “I’ll go ahead and do my promo before we head back to the hotel.”

“Sure, and once we do get back to the hotel we will be playing nurse.” Katie said with a playful wink and I grinned in response. “I can guarantee that you’ll enjoy my bedside manner a lot more than the old man’s.”

“No argument there.” I responded with a grin as Katie hopped in the car, once I made myself comfortable I got ready to do my promo.

“When I issued that challenge last week and it got answered by Samuel McPherson my thought process was “okay, he’s bigger than me but I’ll still get a match out of it”, then Samuel decided to go and cheap shot me in the middle of an interview and next week I’m set to take on “Big Tiger” Jeremiah Hardin for the third match in a row, only now we’re going one on one with each other, any other time Jeremiah I would be looking forward to this match but now? Well, Samuel’s gone and pissed me off and now I get to take my anger out on you!”

And I’m normally a nice guy!

“This is the third time in a row that we’re facing each other Jeremiah but this is the first time that we’re facing each other in single’s competition and if it weren’t for those other matches my mindset going into this match would be something like “need to prove that I can hang with the champs in SCW, who better than a guy who’s one title shot short of the grand slam championship?” but then came the King for a Day and Prince to the King matches and unless you step up your game Jeremiah I’m ready and willing to call each of your single’s title reigns flukes!”

Not counting tag titles because he had help.

“And if you can prove me wrong next week in Tucson, good for you but based on what I’ve seen both as your opponent and watching your matches in general my hopes aren’t exactly high for that and unfortunately for you I gotta get back in the winner’s circle and you’re in my way but not for much longer as I am going to win this match and finally, after two separate attempts, win a second match in SCW and whilst I have questioned your credentials during this promo I will admit, getting a win over a former multi-time champion at this stage of my career? It can only mean good things for me!”

And bad things for you, and Samuel.

“At the end of the day Jeremiah, you may be a former World Champion but I’m not focused on you going into this match, I’m focused on the big masked guy who attacked me backstage earlier tonight as I was trying to conduct an interview but I’m not going to let that stop me from winning this match, in fact the only thing that can stop me from winning is another attack by Samuel but until then I’ve got two things on my mind, revenge against Samuel and winning this match!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up!

“In the span of a week I’ll go from a Big Bully to a Big Cat as I get set to take on Jeremiah Hardin one week after I got the crap beat out of me by Samuel McPherson which is bad news for Jeremiah because I am going to be taking out my frustration on him in the lead up to my win over him and Samuel? You had better keep one eye out for me backstage because I will be looking to get some payback! In the meantime, Jeremiah, you had better brace yourself because there’s a storm brewing and the Metal Storm Caleb Storms is about to blow you away!”

I got in the car as the scene fades.
