 Steve’s bad luck streak continued at Summer XXXTreme V where he was the last one eliminated from the Golden Briefcase Battle Royal by Matt Spears who is now the holder of the prestigious Golden Briefcase which allows him to challenge for a title whenever he wants and as if things couldn’t get any worse for Steve there was a hashtag going around on Twitter calling for the ban of his fiancé Kaylee from SCW which, though unsuccessful, clearly rubbed Steve the wrong way, however Steve now had a chance to get the last laugh.

At the last Climax Control J2H, who had won the Internet Championship from Lord Raab at Summer XXXTreme to become a Grand Slam Champion, vacated both the World and Internet Champions feeling that there was nothing left for him to do and whilst the new Internet Champion had yet to be determined the bosses wasted no time in announcing how they would determine the new World Champion as a Battle Royal would main event this week’s Climax Control with the winner being awarded the title, the competitors? James Tuscini, Dmitri, Calvin Harris, Matt Spears’ partner in the Elders Eyesane, Samuel McPherson and Steve himself, pretty much everyone expected the winner to be someone other than Steve but stranger things have happened in the wrestling business and this could be the biggest way for Steve to end his losing streak yet but can he win?

I call out the morons and they run and hide, typical.

Encase you’ve been living under a rock since Blaze of Glory back in March, well for one thing I’m not sure if I can think of worse living arrangements than that but more importantly, I’ve been on a losing streak that started with me losing the Roulette Title in a title match that never should’ve happened! And to make matters worse, they left me off the post Summer XXXTreme Climax Control card despite all the bullshit controversy surrounding Kaylee.

The only thing worse to have a controversy about it is the Twilight Franchise in general!

But yeah, I wasn’t happy about that and I issued that statement during the show for a good reason, that was several hours ago and there hasn’t been a peep from the morons calling for Kaylee’s ban, not that Mark Ward was ever going to listen to them off course, why would he pass up on an opportunity to play sexy secretary with a porn star? The only boss complaining is Christian but no one gives a shit about him and he’s too busy drooling over his boy toys to really do much these days other than give then underserving title shots!

And as for Erick, he’s still in the company?

But yeah, aside from the controversy surrounding Kaylee which will die down in a few months guaranteed the biggest news to come out of this week’s Climax Control came in two forms, the debut of Griffin Hawkins and J2H vacating the Internet and World Heavyweight Championships without much fanfare, off course speculation is rife about how they are going to handle the fact that two major championships are now vacant but knowing the bosses they won’t waste any time on the matter.

“So, any word on any challengers?” Cyrus asked as he entered the room with a few drinks in hand, we were still in the room we had used for our promo earlier in the night and where watching the main event between Amy Marshall and Evie Baang for the World Bombshell Championship which was currently wrapping up, I shook my head in response and Cyrus chuckles. “They were so quick to call for Kaylee’s firing yet when you call them out they go silent.”

“What do you expect from the guys behind a Twitter Hashtag? Besides, my hashtag is much better.” I responded before opening the can and taking a sip off my drink. “We’re not going to listen to those idiots either, if the bosses aren’t going to stop us than neither are some idiots behind a twitter hashtag!”

“They’ll find a way to stop you, don’t forget, they still write our paychecks at the end of the month.” Andreas responded and I shook my head. “Besides, we need to focus on next week’s Climax Control because I think it’s clear that if someone does answer your challenge it’ll be booked for next week’s show.”

“Speaking of next week’s show, have they announced the card yet Cyrus?” Kaylee asked and Cyrus shook his head and he leaned against the wall.

“Some stage hands were waiting outside the bosses’ offices for next week’s card as I walked by on the way to the vending machine but there was no change on the way back.” Cyrus responded before sitting down in front of the TV. “How far along are we in the main event?”

“I think it’s going to end soon, match has been going on for a good twenty minutes or so.” I responded with a shrug before there was a knock at the door and Cyrus got up to answer it, after a brief conversation with one of the stage hands he closed the door and tossed me the card. “They just announced next week’s card, the guy said that you should pay extra attention to one of the matches but he didn’t say which.”

“Either a rival of mine has a match next week or I do.” I responded with another shrug before going over the card, I read out each match mentally whilst wondering if I had the week off that week before I spotted my name in the Main Event. “Well, that escalated quickly!”

“What do you mean?” Andreas asked before he, Kaylee and Cyrus leaned in for a better look and I pointed to the Main Event Match. “World Heavyweight Championship Battle Royal, Dmitri, Calvin Harris, Eyesane, James Tuscini, Samuel McPherson and you.” Andreas said before grinning broadly. “Your right, that did escalate quickly and what better way to shut up those morons than to win the top prize in the company?”

“And just think of our celebrations when you do win!” Kaylee added causing me to grin broadly and just as she did the bell rung again signaling the end of the match, we looked up and saw, mostly thanks to the replay, that Evie had won the match with the Toxic Mad to retain the title. “Speaking of celebrations, we should probably clear out whilst Evie is celebrating her successful title defense.”

“Agreed, the card said that the next show is over in Reno so we had better get going.” Cyrus added before my entourage stood up ready to leave. “You want to stay behind and do your promo Steve? We’ll wait for you in the parking lot.”

“See you there.” I responded with a nod and they left without another word, I turned off the TV and wasted no time in getting started on my promo.

“At Summer XXXTreme I thought the Golden Briefcase Match was going to be my best shot at turning my fortunes around and improving my stature here in Sin City Wrestling, what actually happened? Well, I lost obviously but now I find myself with an even bigger opportunity to do just that just two weeks removed from Summer XXXTreme and ironically, I have J2H to thank for it because his vacating of the Internet and World Heavyweight Titles opened this door for me! All I need to do is beat Dmitri, Calvin Harris, Eyesane, James Tuscini and Samuel McPherson in a Battle Royal, easy, right?”

Off course it is! And I’m starting with Dmitri.

“Dmitri, you have your own problems in this match because you are facing your tag team partner James Tuscini in this and you can only work together for so long before it becomes every man for himself and once that happens, I’ll be there to pick up the scraps whether it’s you, James or both guys at the same time, something my fiancé has plenty of experience with, neither of you are walking out the new World Heavyweight Champion!”

Ah fuck it, may as well address James whilst I’m at it.

“You are a persistent thorn in my side James! I can’t seem to escape you and it’s not for lack of trying on my part! But this time James, there will be no highway robbery going on because you’ll be too busy either trying to screw your own partner over or working with him to notice me creeping up on you guys until it’s too late and I’ve already eliminated the two of you! You’ve stolen title opportunities from me so many times that I’m beginning to think that you’re a wrestling kleptomaniac but this time? I’ll be the one stealing your opportunities when I eliminate you!”

Next up is Eyesane.

“The Elders have one member in this match whilst another member holds the Golden Briefcase, if that doesn’t send up so many red flags that it could cover the entirety of Texas then you are either stupid or naïve and knowing the brain trust that usually occupies the SCW main roster I’m going to take a stab in the dark by saying that the other competitors are too dumb to realize this but it’s no matter, I’ll eliminate Eyesane and if Matt Spears tries anything he’ll just run chin first into my Superkick!”

Last up is Samuel and Calvin.

“You know there are two guys in this match that I have to sit back and wonder just how they were even considered for this match and their names are Samuel McPherson and Calvin Harris, two guys who stick out like sore thumbs for all the wrong reasons and for that reason I’m lumping them together because the thing is, the rest of the guys in the match at least have credentials but these guys? Samuel spent so long living in Lord Raab’s shadow that I’m surprised that he hasn’t been called a loyal dog by this point and Calvin has only a handful of matches in SCW to his name! This match won’t be the one where you guys break out so you may as well do us all a favor and eliminate yourselves to save us the trouble!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up.

“Six men, one title but at the end of the day, I’m ending my losing streak in grand fashion when I win the vacant World Heavyweight Championship in this Battle Royal and it’ll be a cold day in hell before the likes of Dmitri, James Tuscini, Eyesane, Samuel and Calvin walk out of this match the World Heavyweight Champion and I have it on good authority that hell is a lovely place this time of year! This message has been paid for and delivered by “The Fearless One” Steve Ramone, the World Heavyweight Champion the fans deserve!”

I exited the room as the scene fades.
