 Despite her best efforts, Jessie’s Roulette Title Reign ended after three defenses at Into the Void VI where Chelsea Payne pinned Veronica Taylor to win the match in what ended up being the first ever Last Laugh Match where the winner would be the one to get the final pin-fall in the match by the time the time limit expired and now with both of her Blast from the Past aspirations and her Bombshell Roulette Title Reign behind her what was next for Jessie?

A rematch with Veronica Taylor, that’s what! Jessie is set for a rematch against Chelsea for the title at Summer XXXTreme in a couple of months’ time but not if Veronica Taylor has anything to say about it so the bosses put the two women in a match at the first Climax Control following Into the Void VI. This wasn’t their first encounter either as Jessie beat Veronica last year to gain admittance to the first ever Chamber of Fate Match for the Bombshell Roulette Championship and now the two women were set to clash again under similar circumstances but can Jessie beat Veronica again?

After spending the past couple of months or so touring the Midwest with SCW I figured that we could use some time at home.

Don’t get me wrong being able to visit all those famous places on SCW’s dime was fun but you know what wasn’t fun? Getting knocked out in the semi-finals of this year’s Blast from the Past Tournament and losing the SCW Bombshell Roulette Championship in my third defense without being pinned, at least the bosses didn’t waste any time in putting me in contention for another shot at Chelsea at Summer XXXTreme.

Yeah, I must beat Veronica Taylor to book my ticket to this year’s Summer XXXTreme Cruise, if you’re getting a sense of Deja vue it’s because the exact same thing happened last year, only difference? That was for a shot at the World Bombshell Championship, a title that Veronica hadn’t competed for at the time and still hasn’t had a shot to this day whilst I was getting my first shot at the top belt in Bombshell Division in over three years, this year? We’re on equal ground as we have had several shots each at the Bombshell Roulette Championship and two tile reigns to our name.

But that’s where the comparison stops dead in its tracks! Veronica isn’t on the same level as me, I’ve proven that time and time again, and the only way she can ever get the upper hand on me is if I fuck up or she cheats which pretty much describes all Mean Girls members past and present not named Mercedes Vargas and, well, they say that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it and Veronica will be no different.

I’ll go into more detail about just how I’m going to kick Veronica’s flat ass back to the plastic surgeon’s office later but as I said earlier following the two-week tour of the Midwest we’ve been chilling out at home in between training for the match against Veronica which has given us a chance to catch up on certain things, for Shane it’s his drum practice, for Jake it’s his Mass Effect Andromeda playthrough (me and Shane beat it just before the tour started) but for me?

I’ve been catching up on the new metal albums that were released over the past couple of months.

“Okay, only one song left in the new Dragonforce album and it’s the Death Cover.” I commented as I looked at the album, Reaching into Infinity, on my ITunes account. “This could either be awesome or a train wreck.”

“It’s a classic death metal track being covered by a power metal band best known for the fact that they wrote one of the hardest songs in the Guitar Hero franchise.” Shane’s voice rang out and I looked up seeing my husband in the doorway and realized that I had forgotten to close the door, once he entered the room I paused the album so that we wouldn’t talk over the song after he entered the room. “I’m leaning towards Train Wreck.”

“Off course you are.” I muttered under my breath as I rolled my eyes. “Their new album has been good so far so I’m reserving judgment until after the cover’s finished.”

“Don’t come crying to me after they butcher the song that got me into metal in the first place.” Shane responded with a shrug before I hit play again, 3:22 seconds later and we were blown away. “Huh, never thought keyboards could work on a Death Cover.”

“And you were so quick to dismiss it when they announced that they were covering Evil Dead.” I teased him and Shane grinned in response. “But yeah, I’m actually hoping that they add this cover to their setlists for the upcoming tour.”

“I told you guys that Dragonforce would pull it off.” Jake’s voice rang out and we looked up seeing Jake standing outside the doorway. “Anyway, are we still doing the July 4th BBQ this year or not because SCW didn’t announce any dates at Into the Void.”

“And you’re wondering if Summer XXXTreme will be held in July this year, right?” I asked and Jake nodded in response. “That depends on a couple of things, whether we’ll be anywhere near Vegas when the time comes and if SCW’s hosting a show that I’ve been booked for that week.”

“And if we can get a decent number of guests and not just Amy and Joey this year I’ll have to do even more prep work than I did last year.” Shane commented before checking the time on my computer clock. “Anyway, it’s almost Lunch Time so I’m going to pop downstairs and see what’s in the fridge, you guys want anything?”

“I’ve got my promo to do and considering that my match is against Veronica the food may be cold by the time I’m done.” I responded with a shrug and Shane nodded in response.

“I’ll just have whatever’s in the fridge, I’m not picky.” Jake responded and they left me alone to do my promo, after I checked my Facebook and Twitter feeds for anything of interest I left my room and headed out into the back garden so that I could focus on my promo in relative peace.

“For two years in a row Into the Void has been a disaster for the Metal and Punk Connection, last year we lost the tag team match to Melody Grace and Natalie McKinley costing me the Bombshell Internet Championship in the process but was this year any different now that we’ve added a third member in Kate Steele? What do you think? I lost the Roulette Championship without being pinned, Amy was defeated by the debuting Devona and Kate’s recent losing streak extended by two losses in a row when she was defeated by Mercedes Vargas! But like last year in my first match since Into the Void I have a championship opportunity in my sights and who stands in my way?”

Just the Mean Girl who was pinned by the eventual winner of the match!

“That’s right! It’s Veronica Taylor again! Only this time we’re not fighting for a chance at the World Bombshell Championship, no we’re just fighting for a chance at the Roulette Championship even though I’ve got my contractually obligated rematch and Veronica’s already had hers! Yet they didn’t seem to have the same memory problems when it came to Polly Playtime’s rematch for the Bombshell Internet Championship, did they? But I digress, Veronica with one major exception this match is basically going to be a repeat of our last one on one encounter!”

And no, I’m not talking about the differences in titles we’re gunning for!

“They’ll be no one around to help me beat you this time Veronica and frankly, I don’t need anyone’s help to kick your ass! The only reason you keep getting repeated title opportunities is because you give Mark Ward the best blowjobs, plain and simple, because you sure as hell haven’t earned any shots that have come your way! Frankly I’m surprised the Mean Girls keep you around because you are clearly the most useless member of the Mean Girls!”

And that’s saying a lot.

“But I could rant about how the Mean Girls are a disgrace to women’s wrestling and how much damage your individual title reigns have done to the titles respect to the cows come home and still have enough material for the rest of the promo! No, instead I’m going to give you a little history lesson, one year ago I beat you to secure my place in the first ever Chamber of Fate match at Summer XXXTreme and it’s as the old saying goes, those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it and all we need to do is take one hard look at the glorified ego trip that you call a wrestling stable!”

There, I said it.

“Only difference is that the current incarnation of the Mean Girls hasn’t had as much success as the last incarnation, much as I hate to admit it your idiotic little stable held the Bombshell and Bombshell Tag Team Championships for a decent length of time but now? The only reigns that your little band of idiots have been able to gain since the reformation have been your two Roulette Title reigns, not that anyone remembers either title reign off course because they ended just as quickly as they started and if you think that you’re going to cruise your way to a third reign then think again!”

This is almost comical.

“The truth of the matter is Veronica is that whilst the Mean Girls members have not learned from history the rest of the Bombshell roster has and we’ve grown wise to your tactics hence why your little stable is already fizzling out and whilst Mercedes MIGHT reinvigorate the stable by winning the Bombshell Internet Championship in the near future the dead horse that is the Mean Girls has been beaten so many times that its nothing but a pile of blood and bones and its time the Bombshell Roster did away with it for good, that progress starts with you Veronica and the fact that you’ll never hold another title in SCW again!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up.

“This Sunday’s Climax Control may as well be subtitled “history repeats” because aside from one minor detail our match will end the same way our first match did Veronica, with me kicking your ass back to the plastic surgeon’s office whilst I charge forward towards Summer XXXTreme and my rightful rematch against Chelsea for the Bombshell Roulette Championship and unlike you I’ll be joining the ranks of the three time champions in SCW history! This is the Heavy Metal Angel Jessie Salco signing off, Veronica, I’d say that you had better start learning from history but that would require you to have a brain in your head!”

I went back in the house as the scene fades.
