The match between the Metal and Punk Connection and The Angel Clan ended in a count-out draw as neither team was able to answer the ten count, but still the four women put on a hell of a match and Jessie used that match as leverage to get something she has desired since Summer XXXTreme back in August, a shot at the SCW World Bombshell Championship.
She ended up contacting Mark Ward to get that match after Christian wouldn’t give her the time of day but in the end she got what she wanted, a shot at Crystal Millar at High Stakes IV in Los Angeles, California, granted being granted that shot during a Skype call with the boss sitting at pool side with a dozen bikini clad women was unusual to say the least but what’s done is done and now this week on Climax Control Jessie had a one on one match to deal with as she was facing another young lady quickly rising through the ranks of the Bombshell Division in Evie Baang, a win here would show the world that her title shot was the right choice for Mark to make but can she win?

Gotta love the places you can find on a Pokehunt.
Yeah, that’s pretty much the only reason we found this place, me, Jake and Shane were out on a Pokehunt as we usually do when we reach a new city and through that Pokehunt we found this record store and since we are planning to buy a Vinyl Record Player for Christmas we decided to see what they have on offer.
Granted we won’t be ordering from this place because once Christmas rolls around we’ll be back in Las Vegas but it’s good to have a look around, speaking of Christmas, if I see one more shop with their decorations up early then I am going to scream bloody murder!
But off course, that’s not the only thing on my mind, the other things on my mind are my long overdue shot at the World Bombshell Championship and my match against Evie Baang this week on Climax Control, hell I’m still thinking about how I reacted when I got the news.
*flashback*
Following my brief aired seg with Amy in the Cafeteria we pretty much stayed there and did just what we had agreed to do, sit around and listen to metal, the cafeteria had a small TV in the far corner of the room which was showing the action as it was going on though it wasn’t as if there were many matches left, hell our seg had aired just before Christian’s announcement regarding the Roulette Title and the Main Event between Mercedes and Crystal.
“In just a few weeks it’ll be my name on that World Bombshell Championship.” I commented as I watched Crystal Millar make her entrance for her latest defense. “Even if I lose I’m not going to quit over it like Keira did.”
“I thought she left because she wanted to look after her baby with Roxi?” Amy asked with a raised eyebrow and I shrugged my shoulders.
“She did, at least that what she claims but I can’t help but find just a little bit convenient that she left right after failing to win the World Bombshell Championship for the second Supercard in a row.” I responded with a grin and Amy nodded once she got my point. “Don’t get me wrong, I have all the respect in the world for Team Hero and I’m kinda pissed that we never got that Team Hero vs. The Metal and Punk Connection Dream Match but let’s face it, Keira is a notoriously sore loser.”
“As much as I’d like to deny it, I can’t.” Amy nodded in admission before she took a sip from her drink. “Speaking of matches, you know what you’re doing next week?”
“No but I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m put into a match to prove that I’m worthy of a title shot.” I responded as the action continued on screen. “Not sure why I have to prove that considering that I’ve been in the ring with both of the women in tonight’s Main Event and that I’ve got quite a few wins over Mercedes but you know what the bosses can be like as well as I do.”
“Damn right, still waiting on my match against Polly Playtime.” Amy nodded in response with an annoyed look on her face before noticing a stage hand approaching us. “Watch out, I think our noise complaint is here!”
“Noise complaint at a wrestling show? If there was a more redundant idea than I haven’t heard it!” I responded with a laugh and Amy chuckled. “Pun fully intended off course.” I added before turning to the stage hand. “If you’re here about the noise, fuck off, if you’re here about our matches next week, let’s hear them!”
“Charming.” The stage hand grumbled under his breath before tossing a piece of paper on the table. “Christian just finalized the card for next week’s show, anything else?”
“Nope.” I responded and the stage hand left, we quickly grabbed the papers and read through them. “Let’s see, Justice League vs. Azz N’ Class? I wasn’t aware that those jokes were still in the company.”
“I guess the bosses felt like they needed the Bombshell equivalent of the Surf Boys.” Amy responded with a laugh before returning her attention to the card. “Natalie McKinley vs. Twisted Sister, after what Twisted did to Natalie’s friend that probably won’t end well for her, then again I’m surprised that she’s still employed, your male friend from the Angel Clan is taking on JT Midas.”
“Samuel Devereux?” I asked and Amy nodded in response. “I’m sure Sam has that in the bag, I don’t exactly remember being impressed by JT’s first run.” I responded before grinning. “Now we’re talking! I’m taking on Evie Baang and your taking on Celeste North right afterwards!”
“I guess that’ll tide me over until I get my match with Polly.” Amy shrugged her shoulders in response. “Speaking of Celeste, you buying the Nice Girl act from Delia.”
“About as much as I buy Justin Bieber albums.” I responded with a grin getting a laugh out of Amy. “Seriously though, unless she shows us that she is serious about it I’m keeping her far away from me.”
“After the damage she did to the Bombshell Division with the Mean Girls I don’t blame you.” Amy responded before we read through the rest of the card, there were only two other matches on the card after ours, James Tuscini was defending the Men’s Roulette Championship against Ryan Keys in a match I’m sure Steve will find a way to get involved with and the Men’s Tag Team Championships were being defended between Team BJ and Jon Dough and Eyesnsane of the Elders in the Main Event, speaking of which I heard the bell ring and looked up seeing that Crystal had retained. “Looks like your title win won’t be as easy and you hoped.”
“It didn’t matter who won that match, I can still beat them.” I responded as I took a sip from my drink. “Besides, where’s the fun in an easy title victory? Just because I want the World Bombshell Championship doesn’t mean I don’t want to earn it!” I added and Amy nodded in understanding.
*end flashback*
Not long after we got the news of our matches we left the arena and headed back to the hotel with Joey, Jake and Shane where we spent the night and checked out the next morning so that we could make our way to San Bernardino for the next Climax Control but that’s in the past and right now I want to focus on my future.
A future that involves me winning the World Bombshell Championship and the Grand Slam, but first I have to get past Evie Baang and I know that that’s not going to be easy.
“Oh my god.” Shane’s voice rang out and I turned to him, he was holding a Vinyl up with an excited look on his face which only peeked my curiosity. “They have Morbid Angel’s demos on Vinyl, I can’t even get these things on E-Bay!”
“You’re kidding?” I asked with a grin and he turned the Vinyls around to show us, the excitement in us grew……up until we saw the price tag. “Have you seen the price tag?”
“Now that you mention it, no I haven’t.” Shane responded before turning the Vinyls around again, once he saw the price tag his grin disappeared in a hurry. “$100 each, I just had to spend my last thirty dollars on Rise of the Tomb Raider’s long overdue PS4 Port, didn’t I?”
“Yes, yes you did.” I responded as Shane begrudgingly put the Vinyls back. “Besides we’re not getting Vinyl players until Christmas so it’ll just be sitting there gathering dust until you get it.”
“Yeah, I guess you’ve got a point.” Shane admitted as he looked through the rest of the Vinyls on sale. “You guys see anything you like?”
“Mostly stuff I already have on CD.” I responded as I shook my head. “And the ones I don’t have on CD are by bands that I don’t like so there’s not really anything I’m interested in buying, besides I can always check online after we get the Vinyl Players.”
“Yeah, I’m in the same vote as Jessie, there just isn’t anything that interests me.” Jake nodded in agreement as he looked through the Black Metal albums they had on sale. “The Power Metal selection is pretty weak to be honest, mostly stuff from the more well-known bands like Nightwish, Within Temptation and Helloween, the only lesser known band I’ve seen is Battle Beast and they don’t have any of their three albums on Vinyl, not to mention the fact that I’ve already got their three albums.”
“As I said, anything we can’t find here we can get online, probably for a much cheaper price to boot.” I responded with a shrug as I looked at my phone to check for any interesting Pokémon sightings. “I don’t know about you guys but I’m ready to move on.”
“Yeah, I agree, I doubt this place will have anything else of interest.” Jake nodded in agreement before he dug out his own phone to check on his Pokémon Go account. “Not a lot of interesting Pokémon in this area either, I say we go back to the hotel.”
“Hold on a sec.” I said as something caught my eye on the screen. “There’s three active Pokelures near here, looks like they were just activated, wanna check them out?”
“I see them.” Shane nodded in confirmation before frowning. “But knowing our luck there’s a good chance it’ll be more Pidgeys Rattatas and Weedles but considering how bad our luck’s been on the Pokehunt it may be our best shot.”
“You guys go ahead I have a promo to do, see you at the Pokestops.” I responded and the boys nodded before we left the store, the boys went on ahead and I looked around for a spot to do my promo before settling on an alleyway near the shop, I turned the sound off on my phone before pocketing it and getting started on my promo.
“The Metal and Punk Connection didn’t walk out with the SCW Bombshell Tag Team Titles but we didn’t lose the match either, instead it ended in a double count out but most importantly the war we waged opened the eyes of the bosses to just how ready I was to claim the top prize in the SCW Bombshell Division, the World Bombshell Championship and all I had to do was do a Skype Call to Mark whilst he was on vacation somewhere hot enough for women to wear bikinis in October but it got the job done and now I have my one on one chance at the World Bombshell Championship.”
I said as I folded my arms.
“Let’s be honest, did anyone really think that Keira had what it took to win the title from Crystal? It was obvious to everyone else that she was out of her league going into that match and the fact that she quit the company not long after that match just reaffirms that statement, what’s that? She left to look after hers and Roxi’s new kid? I’m not saying that it didn’t play a role but I can’t help but find the timing just a little bit convenient! Anyway this week the bosses have put me in a match to prove that I belong at the top and they gave me a tough opponent to do just that, her name is Evie Baang!”
And she will go out with a bang!
“Evie, I saw the war you waged with Alexis Edwards at Violent Conduct III just a few weeks ago and I will admit, I am impressed that the woman who I had initially written off as the manager of the Stoner Tag Team not named the Surf Boys could hold her own in the ring better than either of the halfwits she managed! That said I have a lot more experience in the ring than you do and as far as I’m concerned that’ll be your downfall in this match!”
Then again that’s not saying much.
“And here I am sounding like someone who’s been wrestling for fifteen years rather than the eight years I’ve actually been wrestling for but I digress! Anyway let’s talk about your war with Alexis, shall we? Yeah, you won the match after Jasmine was forced to stop it due to Alexis not being able to continue but you took a lot of damage yourself and speaking as someone who went through a similarly brutal match at last year’s December 2 Dismember PPV against Celeste North I can tell from personal experience that, win or lose, your body’s going to be sore as hell for weeks afterwards, difference is my match happened at the last Supercard of the year and they gave me the week off for the last Climax Control, not like they had a choice since I was still in hospital at the time, but you?”
This is where it gets interesting.
“Your match took place just a couple of months short of Christmas and you haven’t had much recovery time before they put you in another match, unfortunately for you that match is against someone who is not only a Bombshell on the rise but someone who is hungry for another title and will not let anyone stand in her way! If, for some reason, you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m talking about me and I don’t care who they put me in a match with between now and High Stakes IV because that show definitely has high stakes for me and I want to prove to the world that I can handle it!”
And now for some hard truth for you!
“Your just stop one on my road to the World Bombshell Championship Evie and for me that road may as well be a highway to hell because it’s like I said, I don’t care who they put in my cross airs after this match or how many, I will overcome them all and go on to secure my place in the SCW Hall of Fame by winning the World Bombshell Championship and the Grand Slam, you on the other hand? You will just be a footnote in the history books as the chronicle my road to the top!”
And that’s when I decided to wrap things up.
“Evie, I’m not saying that you won’t give me a hell of a match, far from it, what I am saying is that in the grand scheme of things there is no one in the Bombshell Locker Room short of Crystal Millar herself that can stop me from achieving my dreams and winning the World Bombshell Championship, I don’t care if it happens at High Stakes IV or at the Supercard right after it because at the end of the day I will win the title and your just stop one on my road to that title, this is the Heavy Metal Angel Jessie Salco signing off, good luck Evie, you’re going to need it!”
I went off to join the boys at the pokestops as the scene fades.
