We see Matt pacing back and fourth in his hotel room. He is seen arguing with Jon Dough. Matt has just taken a shower he is seen wearing nothing but a towel. We see a Chicago Bears shirt and jean shorts laid out on the bed. Along with black boxers and white ankle socks. Matt’s phone starts to ring. Matt picks up the shirt as his phone was underneath it. He sees that it is Lin Ting Lu. Matt answers the call.
Matt Spears: Hello.
Master Lilly: Hello Matt, how are you today?
Matt Spears: Not good.
Master Lilly: Why what’s wrong?
Matt Spears: Jon will not leave me alone.
Master Lilly: What is Jon doing?
Matt Spears: he is upset about this coming CC on Sunday.
Master Lilly: Oh, I see, I had a feeling that was going to happen.
Matt Spears: You did?
Master Lilly: Yes, you see Matt Jon has a list of men he wants or has wanted to face in SCW. Casey is one of those guys.
Matt Spears: Clearly, I mean he will not stop talking about it.
Master Lilly: Jon is just jealous that you get to fight the big guy before he ever got a chance to. Jon will get over it.
Matt Spears: Well, Jon is in the tag team division so the only way he can fight Casey is in a tag team match.
(Jon Dough: Hell yeah, Elders vs. Casey and Steve Ramone!!!)
Master Lilly: Well Matt, Jon has always wanted to fight Steve Ramone and Cyrus King as well. Therefore, Jon does have a chance to fight Casey if SCW were to ever book Casey and Steve as a tag to fight Jon and Eyesnsane.
Matt Spears: Yeah, Jon just said he would like Casey and Steve as a tag vs. The Elders.
Master Lilly: Yeah, that sounds like Jon all right.
Matt Spears: Well its y match so he, I mean you need to get over it Jon.
Master Lilly: He will, Matt I am sure he is just messing with you since he knows it bothers you.
Matt Spears: Well he is starting to interfere with my training.
Master Lilly: Just ignore him then Matt; do not let him get in your head.
Lin Ting Lu tries not to giggle at that statement
Matt Spears: Really, you had to go there?
Master Lilly: I am sorry Matt; I could not help myself there.
Matt Spears: Not funny thou
Master Lilly: I guess you are right, I am sorry about that.
Matt Spears: its ok, I know you always mean well.
Master Lilly: Well thank you; I try my best to put the interest of all my wrestlers first.
Matt Spears: Like you do Jon Dough?
Master Lilly: Yes and you to.
Matt Spears: Me? But I though you only manage The Elders.
Master Lilly: I do, however I look out for your best interest as well. I hope you do not mind.
Matt Spears: Mind? I am grateful for that; there is so much I need too learn.
Master Lilly: Now tell Jon to stop, Part of why he is upset is because you have a match his Sunday and Jon had wanted to fly down to Los Vegas instead, Jon wants to go the LAW’s Queen of the Ring. Orchid has a match there vs. there Breakout Champion. The title is on the line.
Matt Spears: Yeah, Alana told me that she would be there to support her.
Master Lilly: Yes she is, so will I.
Matt Spears: I know Eyesnsane has a match this Sunday in FWA as well. I guess it will just be me in SCW this Sunday.
Master Lilly: Well not really, unless you do not want Song there.
Matt Spears: Wait you mean Song won’t be in Los Vegas to support Orchid?
Master Lilly: No, I prefer she shows up Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada for SCW CC on Sunday.
Matt Spears: I see.
Master Lilly: Well, I called you to let you know that I arranged a driver for you; Ted will be with Eyesnsane in D.C.
Matt Spears: Oh ok, can you text me the drivers info, I was hoping to do some sight seeing later today.
Master Lilly: Sure thing, I will do that now, would you need anything else?
Matt Spears: No, not that I can think of.
Master Lilly: Okay Matt, take care and tell Jon to behave or I will deal with you, I mean him later.
Matt Spears: Ok. Well I will talk to you later then
Master Lilly: Good-bye.
Matt hangs up his phone and tosses it on the bed.
Matt Spears: You heard that Jon, so fuck off and let me be.
(Jon Dough: Man whatever you are still lucky to be fighting Casey Williams.)
Matt Spears: I will remember that when I am kicking his ass across the ring.
(Jon Dough: Ha, good luck with that.)
Matt Spears: Ok Jon leave me alone now, please.
Matt unwraps himself from the towel and starts to get dressed. A few minutes later, we see Mat on his phone with Ted. They start to face time each other.
Ted Okay Matt everything is ready, just start when you are ready. When you are done, I will edit what needs editing and send it to SCW for you.
Matt Spears: Thanks man you are the best.
Matt takes goes to the hotel mini fridge and takes out a bottle of Jack Daniels. Matt takes two shots in a row. He then sits down on his bed looking at his phone.
Matt Spears: So in a few days I go one on one with one of the biggest men in SCW.
(Jon Dough: Too cheesy.)
Matt Spears: Damn it Jon leave me alone. Sorry Ted can we start over?
Ted: No, just keep going, I will edit that part out later.
Matt Spears: Ok. So Freight Train of Pain
(Jon Dough: Oh, man not the Freight Train of Pain mention please to simple.)
Matt takes the Jack Daniels bottle and takes a drink straight from it. He takes two swigs, and then puts the bottle down the floor next to him.
(Jon Dough: Hey, man we had a deal, only beer.)
Matt Spears: Your right we did have a deal, in which you do not interfere with me and what I do during my wrestling time.
(Jon Dough: Ok you are right. I will leave you alone.)
Matt Spears: Thank you.
Matt grabs the cap and uses it to close the bottle. He then goes back to looking to his phone.
Matt Spears: Ok Ted we need to start over.
Ted: Nope, just keeping going and I will give SCW the edit version of the footage.
Matt Spears: Okay. So This Sunday I go one on one with Casey Williams. A man that Tommy Knocks has recently gone on air labeling him the stepping stone sort of say.
Matt turns to look away from his phone, he takes a second before turning back to look at his phone and begin speaking.
Matt Spears: Casey is the person that everyone must beat to show they belong. The man who if you beat, proves you can go toe to toe with the best SCW has to offer. Well I guess that means I will be put to the biggest test so far in SCW.
Matt nods
Matt Spears: Well Casey let me just say this. I plan on going in to this match ready to fight, ready to go blow to blow with you, I do not care how big you are, and I do not care what label you are given, The Freight Train of Pain.
Matt says with a chuckle
Matt Spears: I will give you props thou at age 37 and you show no signs of slowing down. In fact, I will go as far to say that you are just hitting the prime of your career. That is good, your training must be intense, that ‘s cool thou, it just means that when I beat you my ability in the ring will be legitimized.
Matt tilts his head left and right to crack his neck.
Matt Spears: Don’t get me wrong it will not be easy to do, but at the end of the day, no one is easy to beat in SCW. I know I have to go blow to blow with you into I can take you down. You know what they say; everyone is the same size when you’re on the ground.
Matt nods a bit
Matt Spears: That will be the key to victory. It is hard for you to be the brawler and powerhouse that you are when on the mat. Matt Spears in the other hand, well I have a grappling advantage I plan to use to keep you down.
Ok Ted, I think I am done for now. I will hit you up later thou.
Ted: Ok you got Matt.
Matt hangs up his call with Ted. Matt makes his way out to the hotel fitness center to get a 2-hour bike run. Matt wants to make sure his legs are nice and loose before his big match with Casey. You know incase Matt has to adapt a hit and run style of wrestling.
As matt gets to the Fitness center, he gets a call. Matt takes his phone from his pocket to see who it is. Matt sees that it is Song calling him, Matt picks takes the call.
Matt Spears: Hey Song, What’s up?
Song: Guess who your Uber driving is this week?
Matt Spears: Oh boy!
Matt said sarcastically
Song: That’s right; I was told you wanted to do some sightseeing.
Matt Spears; I do but later, I just got to the hotel Fitness Center.
Song: Cool, well wait for me. I just arrived at your hotel. I can use a work out. Letting me just get my bag so I can change.
Matt Spears: Okay, cool, I will wait for you in the hotel lobby then.
Song: Okay
Both hang up the phone. Matt heads to the hotel lobby as Song makes her way in the hotel. Song is dressed in all black suit. The two see each other and nod, Song makes her way to Matt.
Song: Where’s the bathroom at so I can change?
Matt Spears: There is one inside the Fitness Room.
The two make there way towards to the fitness room. Matt points to the bathroom. A few minutes later song comes out dressed in her gym clothes. The two get on the bikes.
Matt Spears: So you think I can take Casey?
Song: I hope so. One things for sure, you two are going to beat the crap out of each other, and I can’t wait to be there to see it.
Matt Spears: Yeah, I’m going to enjoy that as well, I mean he hits hard, and he will get his shots in, but so will I. It will be fun, that’s for sure.
Song: Well the match is just 4 days away but maybe we can get some submissions move under your belt. I can show you some.
Matt Spears: Yeah, I do need some of those; it should help slow down the big guys they throw at me.
Song: Okay, it’s settled then, we will start tomorrow.
The two nod and start riding on the bikes. They will stay there riding the bikes for 2-hours, then go sightseeing for a bit.
