Climax Control Archives / Celebrating a well fought victory
« on: October 13, 2011, 04:58:39 PM »
The scene shows Casey Williams at Ryan King’s bar, drinking a Jack and Coke and just relaxing after a well fought win that Ryan King secured for Poisoned Power over the unlikely combination of Wyatt Peterson and Saint Patty. Ryan King comes over and sits next to Casey and discusses their last match.

Casey-“Hey Ryan, we kicked those guys asses at Climax Control, huh?”

Ryan-“Yeah, we did kick their asses.”

Ryan takes a sip of his Jack and Coke, and reaches across the bar, grabbing a pack of Marlboro reds and packing them a bit before opening them and lighting one with his Silver Zippo.  Taking a drag off it he looks over at Casey and exhales slowly.

Ryan-“However, we cannot forget that we didn’t get that win all on our own. If It wasn’t for Saint Patty turning on Wyatt, it might have been a different outcome.”

Casey takes a sip of his drink while listening to Ryan and starts to speak as he spins a quarter between his thumb and forefinger.

Casey-“I know, Saint Patty proved to be very beneficial in that much and us securing our win.”

Taking another drink from his glass, he looks over the bar at the mirror behind it and grins as he looks at him and Ryan carefully.

Casey-“Whether it helped or not, I am positive we would have walked away with the win. Besides, did we call it with one of them turning on the other or what?”

Ryan-“Yeah, you are right there without a doubt. Only thing that would have made our debut better, was if we would have been able to face Sinful Obsession. That duo is talented, and would have truly been a test of our skill.

Ryan takes another drag from his cigarette and stands up as he finishes his drink as he starts walking around the bar and places his empty glass on the shelf just below the bar and starts to make him another drink.

Ryan-“Let’s not dwell on what could have been or should have been. The next show you are facing Saint Patty. How do you feel about that, and the fact that our favorite hick is going to be the special guest ref?”

Casey lets out a smirk as Ryan takes another drag from his smoke and starts wiping down the bar.

Casey-“How do I feel? Simple, Saint Patty cost Wyatt that match, and I think that Wyatt may be looking to get some revenge.  However I know I can’t count on him to do it during the match.”

Casey reaches over the bar as he finishes his drink and grabs the Jack and Coke, and makes a second drink as he continues to talk.

Casey-“That being said, I’m going to focus on doing what I do best, and that’s wrestle my ass off, and show “Mr. Perfect” that he is far from it.  I mean, if it wasn’t for the “super, super” models of his distracting him, I’m sure he would have started crying the other night.”

Casey downs his drink quickly as he looks over at Ryan and lets out a laugh.

Casey-“Hell, with him being distracted, me winning is going to be a piece of cake, with a cherry on top.”

Casey grabs his jacket and slips it on and smiles as his hands slips into his pocket and runs over a napkin. Pulling it out of the pocket it turns out to be the same napkin that contained Laura’s name and number. Turning back to Ryan, he slides his glass down the bar.

Casey-“Ryan, I’m out for the night.  I have a phone call to make.  I’ll catch up with you later on man.”

Ryan-“No problem Case, thanks for the help closing the place up man. Go get her, tiger.”

Ryan continues wiping down the bar as Casey dials the number into his cell, in which he leaves her a voice mail because of the time, and walks out of the bar as the scene fades to black.

The scene shows Casey scouting the venue of the show the next day and he gets a phone call from Laura.

Laura-“Hi Casey, this is Laura; I got your message from last night. How are you?”

Casey-“Hi Laura, I am great How are you?”

Laura-“I am good.  I was wondering when you wanted to get dinner to talk about your SCW debut and anything else you would like to discuss.”

Casey-“I would love that, thank you very much.  How about Friday night at 7, at my place? We can do dinner and a movie.”

Laura-“That sounds perfect.  See you then.”

Casey then hangs up the phone and then he turns his attention to his upcoming opponent, Saint Patty.

Casey-“Saint Patty, I would like to thank you for turning on your partner and allowing Poisoned Power to gain the victory at Climax Control. I do not see you getting a victory at the next Climax Control against me either.  Seeing that neither one of us were involved in the actual pinfall decision, we get stuck facing each other in singles competition, with the man you turned on as the guest referee.  You claim to want to “perfect” everyone in SCW, but the only person you did anything to was the guest referee, Wyatt Peterson.  If I was you, I would watch my back.  Simply put, you have 2 men to worry about, Wyatt and me. I am going to destroy you at Climax Control, and cause you to remain winless as I continue my winning ways.  You think that you are special, but I will prove that you aren’t as special as you think.  I am better than you and you know it. You can do nothing to stop me from winning. Unlike you, I admit that I am not perfect, nor do I claim to be.  I may not execute my moves perfect either, but when I do execute them perfectly, you know it.  You will feel firsthand what it is like to lose to a dominant force.  I will reach down to my soul to get the will to win, because that is all I know how to do is win.”

The scene fades to black as Casey walks to get lunch.

The scene shows Casey Williams at the bar, drinking Jack and Coke and checking out the ladies who are there.  He spots a red headed lady sitting alone at the other end of the bar, and walks casually over to her and sits next to her.

"Hi, my name is Casey Williams and I find you extremely attractive."

”Hi, my name is Laura Stevens.  Thank you very much!”

Laura then blushes.

”I was wondering if I could buy you a drink and get to know you better. “

”I would love that, thank you very much. “

Laura turns to bartender.

”Can I get another martini please?”

”Can I also get another Jack and Coke please?”

Laura turns back to Casey. The two of them continue to talk, telling each other about themselves.  Casey looks down at his watch after telling Laura about him having his first match in Sin City Wrestling in a few days.

”Oh shit, is that the time.  Sorry to cut it short Laura, but I have to go.  I have to get up early to train for my wrestling match but maybe we can do dinner next week after my match and I can tell you about it. “

”Here is my number.  Call me this weekend and we can make firmer dinner plans.”

Laura writes her number down on a napkin and hands it to Casey. Casey pays the bartender for his drinks then walks back to the hotel room and takes a shower.  Once he is done that, he turns his attention to his upcoming match where Poisoned Power is going up against Saint Patty and Wyatt Peterson.

”Wyatt Peterson, I saw what you and your trainer, Tom Dudley had to say about the upcoming match.  Like I have said before, you are just a dumb hick. Who gets fired from McDonalds? That promo showed that I was right.  Unlike Ryan and me, we do not need someone to do our talking for us. The two of us talk the talk, and we also walk the walk, and will do that against you and Saint Patty.  At least your manager realizes the talent that Ryan and I have, and he is truly concerned about us kicking your ass, or we can just leave that to Saint Patty.”

Casey walks away from the camera a bit and looks out the large window in the hotel room out into the parking lot before turning his attention from Wyatt Peterson to Saint Patty.

"Saint Patty, I have one question for you.  What does the other wrestlers in our business have to do with our match?  Not a damn thing.  You may be confident and claim to be perfect, but Ryan and I will make you eat your words.  We will expose flaws that you have and when we defeat you, Poisoned Power will have a perfect 1-0 record while you and Wyatt will have a less than perfect 0-1 record. You claim your finishing moves are perfectly executed.  That may be all well and good, but the problem is that Ryan and I will make sure you will not be able to execute them, which makes how well you execute them irrelevant."

The scene fades out as Casey carries the bag that has his work out gear in it out of the hotel room and the room door shuts behind him.

The scene shows Casey Williams laying in bed fast asleep. The camera zooms in on him and sees the look of horror on his face and then Casey jumps out of bed. He then realizes that it is only 2:30 am and goes back to sleep.  When he wakes back up at 7 am, he goes to take a shower and then stops and talks about the incident from the middle of the night.

"You may be wondering what happened to make me jump out of bed suddenly last night. I had a nightmare about my mom’s suicide attempt as well as my own.  This happens when I allow people to get under my skin.  My partner Ryan King knows what to say to piss me off, but he also knows when to stop before I snap.  I hope that the rest of the roster will learn real quick, because if they don’t, they will regret it."

After speaking about his nightmare, you can see based on the look on Casey’s face that even to this day talking about that part of his life still bother's him very much. Now he turns his attention to his upcoming match with his partner, Ryan King, and they are collectively known as Poisoned Power, against the unlikely combination of Saint Patty and Wyatt Peterson.

”Wyatt Peterson, I know little about you outside of what Ryan has told me about Tom Dudley training you.  The only thing I should be worried about with you is that you are gonna be a tough person to beat, but I trust my skills and the skills of Ryan King to defeat you and your partner Saint Patty at Climax Control.  If you don’t get what I say, let me tell you in a way that you can get, you dumb hillbilly.  Ryan told me a tiny bit about you, but that will not stop me from beating you until you can no longer fight.  You will feel pain like you have never felt pain before.”

Casey walks away from the camera a bit and looks out the large window in the hotel room out into the parking lot before turning his attention from Wyatt Peterson to Saint Patty.

"Saint Patty, you think you are something special. You think that my past is boring, eh?  All your finishing moves start with “The Most Perfect”.  Now that is boring as all shit.  Will you call the loss you will suffer by my hands “The Most Perfect Loss”? I will find it to be The Most Perfect Victory for Poisoned Pain, because we are the 2 single most powerful guys to step inside the 6 sided ring. I will show you that when people disrespect me, especially a worthless nobody like you, they will regret it.  You remind me of Peppermint Patty.  No, not the candy, but the one from Charlie Brown. “

As Casey says the piece on Peppermint Patty, he shows the following picture, so the fans who may not be familiar with the character can know who he refers to:\'user.

”I will make you guys scream like the little girl that you are. Just remember that Saint Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland… I will drive you both out of wrestling. I am simply that dangerous.  When I am finished with you guys, you guys will wish you had never gotten into the wrestling industry."

The scene fades out as Casey carries the bag that has his work out gear in it out of the hotel room and the room door shuts behind him.

The scene shows Casey Williams in his hotel room getting ready for the long day ahead of him.  He stops, sees the camera, and decides he wants to talk about his past a little bit. Casey has on his usual attire of a biker vest, jean shorts and his favorite pair of boots on that fits him like a glove.

"Hi, my name is Casey Williams and I am the Freight Train of Pain.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I am 32 years old and have been wrestling for 15 years.  Growing up, I have been made fun of for being unusually larger than everyone else of my age.  By the time I turned 10, I have had been in quite a few fights and hurt those who made fun of me.  Shortly after my 10th birthday, I witnessed my mother overdose on medication and I overdosed on my Vicodin from when I dislocated my right knee and fractured my left wrist in a fight against a kid who made fun of my size.  My dad saw me do this and rushed me and my mom to the hospital.  We had our stomached pumped and survived the ordeal."

After speaking about his overdose incident, you can see based on the look on Casey’s face that even to this day talking about it still bother's him very much.

After that incident, I decided to focus my energies on watching wrestling and wanting to become a professional wrestler one day.  When I hit high school. I tried out for the wrestling team and successfully made the team.  I went undefeated throughout my high school wrestling career, and by this time, I wasn’t made fun of as much because they knew better.  Late in my high school wrestling career, scouts came out to watch me wrestle.  I had received a full scholarship to the University of Minnesota for my wrestling, where I thrived, as I had done in high school."

Casey walks away from the camera a bit and looks out the large window in the hotel room out into the parking lot.

"I became an All-American Wrestler as a Freshman, and did so every year there after, not just for wrestling, but for my academics as well.  Once my Junior year came around and I went to the NCAA Tournament, there was a guy in the 275 pound weight class that caught my eye right away.  He goes by the name Ryan King, and was just as dominant in his weight class as I was in mine.  After we both won our respective weight class brackets, I went over to him and introduced myself and told him how impressed I was with his work.  He told me that he was just as impressed with my work as I was with his, and we would become great friends and possibly become a tag team after we both graduated college and if a promotion ever gave us both a chance."

Casey's expression has changed from one of sadness and hatred to one of extreme excitement as he turns back to the camera, looking directly into it.

"After college was over, I started going to indy wrestling events, hoping to be spotted by someone who would sign me to a contract.  In between events, I worked at the Boys and Girls Club maintaining everything on the grounds, including the pool.  Shortly thereafter, I was spotted by the owner of the Asylum Wrestling Alliance, who goes by the name of Goth.  He saw potential in me, and signed me to a contract."

Casey turns back around placing his hands on his hips and resumes looking out the window as he continues to talk almost seeming distracted at this point.

"I held the AWA International Championship and the AWA Television Championship, both for a combined 3 weeks.  After a while, I started teaming up with the grizzled veteran Bill “Bulldog” Barnhart and we were slated up against different tag teams vying for the tag team titles, but just falling short before a situation backstage arose between myself and Goth.  Goth let me out of his contract, but suggested I go to another company called PrYde."

Through the reflection of the mirror the cameras catch a frustrated expression on Casey's face as he discusses switching companies.

"I took Goths advice, and went to PrYde to showcase my talents there.  Within the first month of my tenure there, I was confronted by the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight title there, a man named Waylon “Heavy Metal’ Holladay, who wanted to guide me in the way to the main event status quickly.  We started teaming together, and the first match we faced the tag team champions in a title match, and won.  We successfully defended the titles against the former champions.  About a month after we obtained the titles, the president of the company forced Waylon to decide whether he wanted to drop the tag team titles in order to face the World Champ in the title match, or drop the #1 contendership to continue the tag team title reign.  Waylon chose to drop the titles to pursue the World Championship, which he won."

Casey turns back around reaching down and grabbing a gym back and his keys from the dresser as he continues to talk.

"After he won the title, I attacked Waylon due to the fact he turned his back on me for the world title.  That action launched me into the world title picture. Before I was able to capture that title, the company had closed due to lack of interest, and since then I have been just working out hopefully to find another organization, which I did when I found SCW."

Casey starts walking to the door to his room and gives the camera a sadistic smile.

"I'm in SCW and Ryan King is as well.  At the first Climax Control, Poisoned Power will make a huge statement.

The scene fades out as Casey carries his bag out of the hotel room and the room door shuts.
