Joshua is seen in the back at SCW CC 100 and is approached by an interviewer.

“Joshua do you have a minute?”

“If you make it quick I will talk but when I am done I am done.”

The person gets ready to do the interview and stands next to Joshua.

“Fans we are here with SCW’s Joshua Acquin.  First off Joshua where have you been for the last couple months?”

Joshua takes a minute to gather his thoughts and looks into the camera.

“Well thank you for the welcome back.  As far as where I have been I had to do some deep soul searching mean I thought HIS would have my back.  Which they did somewhat at first then everyone but me was a member it seemed like.  The final straw was the night I lost my match when not even one member of the group came to my aid or to check on me.  I had text from some of the people you wouldn’t think I would be getting them from.  I got them from the fans and from fellow wrestlers but yet none from Hot Stuff himself or any of my so-called stable mates.  From here on out I know who I can trust and that is a small list.  I would have to say it starts with my family, Austin and Ashlynn.  Then from there it is a select few from other feds and here even.  Now your next question is what are my plans from here?”

“Well you took the words out of my mouth.”

“I will tell you what I am going to do next.  Whatever I feel like.  I feel like going after some gold and I know I am not going after that tag gold again until I can get a partner that will be there for me and not leave me high and dry.  I have patch things up with Frost.  He check out and gets a pass from me but I don’t think I can tag with him again for the belts.  I mean we did win shock of the year and I had each and every one of you fools eating out of my hands.  Now when I win that championship belt whichever the management deems me to go up for I will hold it as long as I can..”

“Joshua there is a rumor going around that your sister, Ashlynn, is being trained by you care to comment on this?”

Joshua steps out of from and comes back into frame with Ashlynn.

“I will tell everyone here that yes I am training Ashlynn.  But I will not have her step into this ring without being ready for anything.  I got to go talk to the management so this interview is over.”

As Joshua leave he leaves Ashlynn in the camera to smile and wave.

Joshua is seen in his office looking over some paperwork when he receives a text message from the SCW staff.

“Congratulations on the return.  Sorry about the loss in your return match.  We at SCW are feeling the Christmas spirit and will be placing you in a match to get back in the tournament for the Roulette championship.”

About time I get a card dealt in my favor.

Joshua sits back in his chair and rests for a moment before his brother walks into the office.

“Hey Joshua you are having a TV spot for the Wranglers in roughly five minutes.”

“OK I will be on my way shortly.”

Joshua is seen behind a podium that had the logo of the Las Vegas Wranglers on it, which is in front of a backdrop of all the sponsors that the Wranglers have.

“Welcome, my name is Joshua Acquin and I am the owner of the Las Vegas Wranglers.  Each of you are here for this  Press Release to see if I am going to step down after the news of the possibility of a NHL team to come to Vegas?  I will tell you that a NHL team here will not survive long due to the fact of the cost of the average ticket is roughly $65.  That will cut into peoples spending money and when I can provide the same product for cheaper about $30 and a team that can win because we have been around.  That’s what people want a winner and not costing as much.  So I am not worried about this because if it happens I have full faith that the NHL will fail here since I have a winning team.”

With that Joshua takes no more questions and gets up and leaves.

Fans boo as Ashlynn walks out on the stage

“Ladies and Gentlemen , may I introduce to you the three time GIW Television Champion, the one time GIW Tag Team Champion, the one time SCW Tag team champion, and the  soon to be your SCW Roulette Champion. He hails from “Sin City” Las Vegas Nevada he is the one and only Joshua Acquin.”

Nightmare hits the PA as  Joshua walks out from the back along with Austin who stands on the top of the ramp as Joshua heads down among the boos avoiding the fans and even threating those that try to reach out the extra inch to touch him.  Joshua enters the ring and then grabs a mic that was placed on the edge of the ring.

“I know how much you guys love to boo me here especially after I overlooked my foe from a couple weeks ago in the Roulette Championship hunt and I lost that match but the SCW gods are looking in my favor and have let me get another chance to win the chance for the championship match.  Trust me I will not let it go though my hands once more.  People are worried after I was in a Prison Chamber Match and got hit pretty good on my head.  Well I have had two weeks to recover and if I have to face the Sanguine Assassin I want a rematch in the same match.  I will take you from one side of this ring to the other making you beg me to stop doing all this damage to you.    But before that I will face  five others and then on to the semi-final to make up for my loss to Sephiroth Du Lac.  My opponents are the five other losers in this march to the championship.  I will go through Lord Raab, Johnny Ajax, Chris Shipman, BHBE or whatever he likes to be called and Blasted Monk.  Give me a first blood match, a last blood match, give me a match where I have to march through every one of them and I will.  I am bound and determined to win.  I may not be the favorite to win.  Let me remind you of the shocker you guys had earlier this year since you guys seem a little slow to comprehend.  I took out the tag champion in order to get a shot at the SCW Tag Team Championship.  Then I shocked you all by picking the very man that I beat down to win the belt from him with him.  Until very recently I was undefeated in non-tag team matches.  I think I am something like 5 and 2 in non- tag matches.  So this week I like my odds in this to climb the ladder and win my matches I will have this week.  There isn’t anything anyone else can do to stop me.  I will go to hell and back to ensure a win.  I will bend the rules that I can in order to get that win to end my night.  I will break my own body to get what I want but before I do that I will break my opponents in this ring.  I will win and you can bet on that.”

Nightmare hits the PA as fans boo as Joshua raises his arms in the middle of the ring as the camera fades out.

 Joshua is seen in his office going over paperwork with the things he is looking into acquiring and running.  When as he is getting up his sister comes in and sits down.

“May I help you?”

“Well you know how you are trying to get into the LFL and owning the Las Vegas Sin?  I think you need to rethink that since that sport is aimed at one thing, and you know what that thing is.”

Joshua thinks about it and nods.

“That is one thing that I was thinking of after I made that announcement.  I just wanted another person I knew I could trust to say something about it and you
know how Austin is.”

“So did you have anything else in mind since that is off the table?”

“You know I have been a big supporter of getting a soccer team here to Las Vegas.  So on top of giving land to the 51’s new stadium before I sold them and the new arena for the Wranglers.  I am going to put up a soccer stadium in a proposal to MLS to expand here.  People want to complain about the heat here in Las Vegas so I am going to have the first domed soccer field in the US.  We will have it open most days and when the temperature gets to a point that I will allow MLS make that call.  It could also help us land the 2022 World Cup since they are going to redraw for the cup.”

“Ok so you have all that going out how do you plan on making money?”

Joshua looks at his sister and shake his head.

“I am a CEO for the best resort on the Strip I have people losing money in the casino hand over fist it is like they are playing the lottery and I am the one who wins.”

“By the way you have a limo waiting for you.”

“Who sent it?”

“Did you forget the 51’s were going to honor you so they are getting you there to Cashman field early.”

“That’s right I have been busy with everything.  Actually I have tickets for you, Austin, Tiff, and Joshua Jr.  The latter two should be here any minute.  Austin I don’t know.”

Just then Tiff and Joshua Jr. walk into the office.  Jr. runs up and gives Joshua a hug.

“Hi Aunt Ashlynn.”

He gets out of Joshua’s arms and goes to Ashlynn to get a hug.

“Tiff did you see Austin out there at all?”

“No but he did send a text saying he would be here.”

“Well our limo waits.  I hope he meets us at the limo.”

With that the four leave the office and head to the private entrance where Austin is waiting for them.

They arrive at the park before any of the players do they get dropped off at the press gate.  Joshua walks up to the gate and walks into the offices for the management.  There he sees the person he was looking for.

“Hey James how’s it been going?”

“Hey Joshua, been going great actually I need you guys to put these VIP passes on and then we are going to head to the locker room.”

They go through a side door and walk down the corridor to the empty locker room that has the players gear hanging in the lockers.  Over on one side of the room there are five jerseys.  Two of them have J. Acquin on it with the only difference besides the size was the smaller on has Jr. on the end.  The others have A. Acquin on them and the last one just has the number with no name.  Joshua picks up his and passes out the others to the respected owners.  Just as Joshua was finishing handing them out James comes in.

“Ah I see you got the surprises that the team bought for you guys.  Tiff I didn’t know what your last name is but whenever you want just come in and we will put that on for you.”

Everyone thanks him.

“Well you have about thirty minutes before the team shows up to do some batting practice.  If you want to follow me we will go through the dugout onto the field.  Which we have gloves and bats for you to hit a few balls with the team.”

They go onto the field and hit the ball with the team.  Joshua and Austin have a home run contest with it ending in a tie.  After practice they go up to the suite they will be in till it is closer to game time where they are back on the field with a ball for each of them.

“Ladies and gentlemen we have a few people pitching out the first pitch.  The first one you should recognize as the previous owner of the 51s.  Joshua Acquin.”

Nightmare plays over the sound system as he walks out to the pitcher mound.  When he arrives he takes the microphone and looks around at the crowd as Nightmare fades out.

“Wow it is always good to be here at Cashman Field.  Earlier today we had some BP with the team and Austin and I had a contest which we tied at so in order to break the tie I am challenging him to a pitch off.  Rules are we have to throw a strike as hard as we can.  If you miss too bad.  So with out any further delays I will throw first.”

Joshua pitches the ball as a strike and registers on the speed gun at 86 mph. The others in his group pitch there balls expect for Austin and Jr.  Before Jr goes up Joshua grabs his glove and takes over for the catcher and catches his sons pitch.  Then Austin goes up and throws his pitch at 87 mph as the umpire that showed up for the challenges calls ball.  Joshua smiles as he knew he won, and goes to shake Austins hand in front of the fans and cameras.  They head back up to the suite with Joshua heading over to the press box to meet up with Russ Langer to do an interview and call a little bit of the game.  When Joshua gets into the open air press box Russ is setting up the second headset as a commercial is going on.  As Joshua sits down and put the headset on he can hear Russ signing onto the broadcast with his normal upbeat energy as he goes over the line ups putting in his two cents as the pitcher is on the mound ready to start the game.

“Well folks as we get underway here I am joined by the former owner and SCW wrestler Joshua Acquin.  Welcome Joshua.”

“Hey thanks for having me Russ.  By the way congrats on the second in a row of the Nevada broadcaster of the year award.”

“No thank you Joshua I could only do that since you kept me here.  Anyway first pitch is a swinging strike the count is 0 and 1.  Now Joshua you just got back from Africa a little while ago and lost your tag tile how are you feeling now that it has been a few weeks?”

“Well Russ as anyone that is in a competitive field will tell you it sucks because they don’t give out a hey you showed up award.  That gold is one reason that I am in wrestling.”

“Ball just outside count is 1 and 1.  So where do you go from here in SCW?”

“Well I have a contractual rematch.  However the SCW management thinks I need to reconfirm my standing as a number one contender.  So this week they have me and Frost versus Frost former partner and his NXT partner.  Only thing he needs to know is that HSI is where those titles are coming back too.”

“Ball was hit well but caught at the warning track.  So what is next for you business wise for you?”

“Well I can’t speak publicly about what I am going to do on that front, but I will be heading to Brazil to catch a few World Cup games.  But I am going to go next door to get back to my seat.  Thanks for having me.”

“Thank you Joshua.  Folks that was Joshua Acquin and we have a strike out for the second out of the inning.”

Joshua gets up and shakes Russ’ hand and walks back to his suite.

Nightmare hits the PA as Joshua walks out from the back to a crowd of boos.  He avoids everyone as he walks down the ramp to the ring that has a chair set up in it.  Joshua gets to the ring and gets a microphone and sits in the chair.

“Joshua are you pissed off?  Joshua how does it feel to lose the tag team titles?  Joshua do you blame yourself or your partner?  Joshua, Joshua, Joshua you know what I think of losing the tag team championship?  Really how do you think I feel about it?  Just think about if you didn’t get your promotion you were looking forward to how would you feel.  Kinda pissed off right?  That’s what I am now.  To put salt into the wound they force Frost and I to requalify as number one contender?  Who is the team we must face?  Of course it would have to be a NXT team.  Sure they swept HIS at Cape Town,, but they didn’t win the championships off of us it was a team of, how to put this, a challenged persons favorite tag team. But you know what you do after a loss is you learn from it and move on.  As for this chair I may have to use this to rid us of this NXT bug.  When will people get that HSI is the way to go.  We will win and bring the gold back to HSI.”

With that Joshua drops the microphone and leaves the ring.

 Nightmare hits the PA system as fans boo Joshua awaiting him to come from the back.  But they are surprised he comes through the crowd like his  tag team partner does.

“You know it is fun walking this way having you fools think you are good enough to be in my arena.  This week the powers that be have decided to have everyone that is going for the tag team champions to face one another on their team.  I know one thing about this is that I will not be in this ring with Frost because it is apparent that one management person doesn’t like us holding the titles and then heading over to HIS.  I am trying to get Frost to sit out so we are rested for our second title defense.  Hell we have already beat one team and you split the two I don’t think they should get another sot this fast but same person that made this match has a huge boner for NXT.  But I cannot wait till Capetown.  But this week I am not going to be in this ring due to a concern that a certain person is trying to get your great tag team champs injured to get their team the belt.  So to recap for you folks I am not going to work hard in this match and save up for the South Africa crowd and give them a good show.”

With that Joshua goes to the back and ignores the fans that are booing him as he leaves.

 Jasmine St. John Raises Joshua’s hand as Nightmare hits the PA after he pined two of his opponents in the four way match, as Joshua looks up the ramp he sees Jackson and Green fighting to the back.  Joshua walks up the ramp still amped from the win he picked up.

Joshua is seen in his office looking over some papers for his AFL team that he is bringing to Las Vegas.  At that time Austin and Ashlynn walk in to the office.  

“How’s it going Joshua?”  

“Man I am racking my brain over the arena team contract and such.”  

“Need a team name?  Do a city vote.”  

“I am planning to do that just want to run this list by the two of you before we publicly release it and send it out to get a vote.”  

“So what are the planned names?”

“Well I have four names right here: Desperados, Vigilantes, Destroyers , Avengers, and lastly a write in vote.”

“So have you got a location for the new arena?”

“I have a few locations as well as a few designs that some contractors have sent me.  I have asked to see a 3D model not just drawings.”

Joshua shows a few of the drawings that have been sent to him.

“Wow some of these look great for what you want to do.”

“Yes but I want certain things, I am a perfectionist when it comes to this.  I want a complete oval seating area not like now where we have a U-shaped seating area.”

Ashlynn leaves the other two to themselves.

“Now we can get to some business that I have been neglecting but in my absent in the area you have came through.  How is the wrestling school coming along?”

Austin goes over to a flat screen television and pops in a DVD that he had sitting on the player.

“Look and see for yourself.”

Joshua and Austin watch the DVD with matches that were for the titles.

“It looks as though you are doing a great job with training them. How have the
guest trainers been for you?”

“They come in and do a great job.  I have seen quite a few of them improve.  I have also seen some that should really rethink what they are thinking.”

“Good job Austin, keep it up.  I am thinking about coming down there sometime real soon to check it out on my own.  But right now I have a date that I am going on and have to go home and get ready.”

March 20th 2014

Joshua is seen in the back of the Orleans Arena before a Wranglers game.  He is in jeans and a long sleeved shirt, instead of his normal suit and tie.  He enters the locker room before the team is introduced into the arena for that night’s game against the heated rivalry and hated Alaska Aces.  He greats a few of the players before getting them together to speak.

“Alright guys this season hasn’t gone as we thought.  Hell if it wasn’t for the San Francisco Bulls folding we wouldn’t be in the playoffs.  But anyway as you know this is our last season here in the Orleans.  With that being said I think we owe it to them, no matter how bad the negotiations went, to hang another banner in the rafters.  Also big news from me to you and the city of Las Vegas, we are going to be an AHL team next year.  They are moving the Portland Pirates here to Las Vegas.  We will be the AHL team for Phoenix starting next season.  Now we will still be the Wranglers.  I have also set up a tryout for each and every single one of you.”

Joshua looks around at the room as players and other team members take in what was said.

“With that being said I will be officially announcing it on television later on this week.  Now I thought tonight we could don a third jersey.  Maybe it won’t turn around our season but it is worth a shot.”

One of Joshua’s assistants comes in with two boxes as the team beings to look up to the news of new jerseys.  Joshua pulls out the first one in the box showing off a black jersey with the word LAS VEGAS from the upper right to the lower left in white with red outline  Same with the number on the one Joshua pulled out number 82 that was in white and outlined in red with the name ACQUIN the same way.

“Now these are sharp looking.  I even chipped in extra money to get the head gear as well as a new goalie mask.  Let’s go kick some Ace ass.  I will be watching.”

Joshua leaves the locker room with his jersey in hand and walks up to his owners suite just in time for the national anthem and the puck to drop.

Later in the week…

Joshua is seen wearing a suit and tie sitting in front of a backdrop that has a Las Vegas Wranglers logo as well as sponsors of the team.

“Hello fans of the Las Vegas Wranglers.  I am making this clip for further information for the state of the team.  I know this year hasn’t gone as planned.  On top of that the Orleans is kicking us out of the arena at this season’s ending.  On the plus side we have been qualified for the playoffs this year and we plan on making a run at the Kelly Cup.  We are going to have a new arena and the Wranglers are moving up into the AHL and replacing the Portland Pirates as the AHL team for the Phoenix Coyotes.  This move has been told to the team as it came about within the last couple weeks between me and the AHL owners.  This new arena will be state of the art and will be able to hold multiple events.  The main tenant to this arena will be the Wranglers.  We will be having our very first jersey retired soon, and going into the new arena there will be a ring of honor or something of the such.  We will be making a few changes to the jersey with a change to the AHL, but we will not be changing the name.  We also will be having periodic updates from me on the move from the ECHL to the AHL.  First and foremost I would like to thank the ECHL for a great run of 11 years.  We hope that the other teams in the ECHL will continue with the success most have had and for the ones that haven’t I personally hope they find it.  I have done enough talking right now but will answer any questions the press has here.”

Joshua sits and wait to see who is going to ask questions.

“Mr. Acquin the Wranglers have been known to hold special midnight games as well as the indoor classic.  Are the plans there to keep these games?”

Joshua waits and composes an answer.

“I personally love the midnight games it gives the fans here in Las Vegas a chance to see games that the fan may not see.  We are working hard with the AHL to get our indoor classic to be played.  Furthermore we are working with the City of Las Vegas to get a game played on Fremont Street.”

With only one question asked Joshua ends the press conference when no other questions were going to be asked.

The camera opens on an upscale house of Joshua Acquin.  Just then Joshua opens the door and welcomes the cameraman in.
"Welcome to my home.  Now many SCW fans want to know where I live and no as you can see I do not live in a resort hotel.  I just live here in Summerlin just a few miles from Red Rock Canyon and from my resort.”

Joshua goes further into the house into the kitchen.

“Hell on every other one of these the people show what they got in the fridge.  So here you go.”

Joshua opens the fridge and shows off what is in the fridge.

“Most important thing is the beer in here is good old Sam Adams.  Now Sam Adam brewery you owe me some beer.  Now if you look below you you will see the only one of the kind a staircase that is also a wine cellar.”

The camera pans down as they are above a clear glass door that has a spiral staircase under it and on each side is wine.  Joshua goes down and grabs a bottle and comes back up with it handing it to the camera man.

“That’s for you don’t drink it now I don’t want to shaking the camera or anything like that.”

Joshua laughs as he walks further into the home stopping at the master bedroom.

“Now usually people make wisecracks about the master bedroom saying something like ‘this is where the magic happens’ I am not like that this is where I sleep and sometimes have sex.  Lets be realistic here.  As you can see it is not all foo foo like.  Luckily my girlfriend hasn’t invaded this part of the house this much. Now if you can remember the kitchen and living room she has been there.”

Joshua then takes them to the garage where he has his cars.

“Here is where I house all my cars I have my 2013 BMW 730i, next to that I have my S63 Benz, then it is to the Jaguar XKR-S.  Then on this side we have my Harley Davison that is custom build for me.”

The camera pans to all the cars looking all around them and then back to Joshua.

“I think it is time to go to the man cave”

Joshua walks up to a bookshelf and pulls a book and the wall opens up then they are sitting in a home theater and then another room can be seen as they walk into it.  As they walk through to the next room you see championship belts pictures with celebrities and jerseys all along the walls.  There are a few couches and big screen televisions.  In one corner is a pinball machine and other arcade games.

“Here is my, if you want to call it my Man Cave you may.  Here on the walls I have all the people that have been able to grace the Man Cave.  Just look up there and you will see a who’s who of people.  I have people like former mayor Oscar Goodman,  over here we have from Pawn Stars Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison, hell I don’t have just guys in here I have had the honor to have a few females in here.  They have their own section on the wall and some include the lovely Holly Madison, Crystal Harris, also the great SCW bombshell Amy Marshal is up there too.  All the championships on the walls are ones that I have won in various companies.  But that’s all the time we have for this week.  See the rest next week.”

The camera pans out and shows the room with everything in it before it fades to black.

Nightmare hits the PA as Joshua walks down the ramp to the ring paying no attention to the fans. He gets into the ring and motions around his waist for the championship that will be there shortly.

“Thank you for the warm welcome, but I didn’t expect anything other than that.  For the better part of a month the major question was who am I going to pick to tack the titles from Jon and Frost.  Let’s see here, I could choose from anyone non champion male.  That makes it pretty wide open on who I could get.  Hell I could choose my good friend Ace Baldwin.  But where the fuck is Ace he never responds to anything.  Then I could have chosen Aaron Matthews, either of the Guns for Hire, Drake Green, Kevin Carter, or Thatcher Rex.  But then I thought long and hard so without further ado my Partner to take the SCW Championship…”

Joshua stands in the ring as everyone looks up the ramp to see who he has chosen.  After about a minute of waiting Joshua starts to laugh as fans boo about being tricked.

“You guys should have seen your looks when you thought I would have told you guys who I have chosen.  I wasn’t born last night, I have been around the block and it is something called strategy hell if I gave out who my partner was they could do research and watch tapes of him and get a leg up on me that way.  So everyone of you peons that would think I would tell you my tag partner.  You will find out when the two soon to be ex-SCW Tag Team Champions, when my partner and myself take the titles from you.  You guys think you all got it but I can see a crack.  People have been able to beat you one-on-one.  So in the back of your mind you think two together are better than one.  What if my partner is the other one to beat you Jon, the two of us would have you beat on paper since you can’t beat us alone?  I think not Those belts will be around my partner and mine waist.  Your days are numbered.”

Joshua drops the microphone as he walks back up the ramp and motions around his waist as Nightmare plays again on the PA.

 Joshua is on his back in the dock area recovering after his burial match at My Bloody Valentine. Medical crews show up and help Joshua to his feet and to the medical area in the back. While back there he was watching the bombshell championship match that had his friend Amy Marshal in.

“How bad is it doc?”

“It seems to only be some deep bruising. I am going to recommend you take it easy and don’t get booked on the next show.”

“I can do that I am going to Japan this week.”

With Joshua leaves the room to consul his friend on her loss.


Later that week

We see Joshua and Amy out at dinner after getting done with the Nanzoin Temple. Joshua is still in pain but is still trying to manage till he can get to his hotel room.

“I really don’t like sushi so you should feel special that I am doing this for you Amy.”

Joshua winks as he eats another piece of the sushi

Amy just rolls her eyes.

"You didn't have to order sushi.. there was noodles or soup."

Amy said as dips her salmon roll into some soy sauce.

"Never thought of that"

Joshua laughs a little.

"Funny thing when I booked the hotel they kind of booked one room instead of two.
Don't worry I will be getting another room when we go there."

Joshua's noodles get to the table and he starts to eat them.

Amy takes a sip of water.

"And if they didn't have a spare room, then you would have been sleeping on the floor."

Amy said as she stuck her tongue out Joshua.

"You are lucky I am a gentleman, otherwise I would take the bed."

Joshua takes a sip of his water.

"So what have you been doing since we left WCWF?"

Amy shakes her head at Joshua's comment, before answering his question.

"Since leaving WCWF... set up my own adult entertainment company, opened a few tattoo parlours, bounced around a few wrestling companies. I made a name for myself in NCW.

How about you?"

Amy asked.

"Wow you are busy in a good way. Since leaving WCWF I have bought a resort in Vegas, I own the baseball and hockey team in Vegas, opened a wrestling school with my brother and sister. I wrestled for two other companies, as well as getting a few tattoos to cover up the scars. You remember the big match I had in WCWF?"

"Damn! And i thought being an owner of a porn company was busy, you have just trumped that."

Amy shakes her head again, as she picks up a glass of sake.

"I remember some of it."

Amy said honestly.

Joshua shakes his head.

"I was in a ton of pain luckily i passed out once I was thrown into the razor wire. I have the scars from it. Maria was a real bitch, I gave her everything she wanted. I took my hatred for her and used it in the ring and also made some investments that panned out for me. Ever since her I always am on guard. You have been the only other female besides my sister I have opened up to. Maybe it is because we have been hurt one way or another. You know alot of people think that our engagement was part of a story line, it wasn't I spent a pretty penny on her ring, and she kept it. Maybe I am wrong to say this but I would date you without any hesitation. How do you feel about a relationship and be honest, if you want to stay friends for now I am fine with that. If you say no go this trip is on me no matter what you say."

Amy looked Joshua as she processed all that information at once, but also unsure what to say back.

"I..."

Amy shifted uncomfortably.

"I'm flattered that you want a relationship with me, but I don't feel i'm ready quite yet. I'm kinda seeing someone, but feelings are still mixed up from my relationship with Kevin... i had love for him and i just need time. Plus i see you more of a friend.

Amy reaches out and lightly touches Joshua's hand.

"Im sorry."

"That's fine and don't be sorry I would rather have you as a friend than nothing at all."

Joshua takes a drink of water.

"I have only a few friends and I like to teat them with things like this trip. So I don't want you to feel pressured to pay me back."

Joshua touches Amy's hand in responds to her touching his.

"Now with us both being business minded. I would love to invest into your company. Also I have a spot in my resort that is looking for a shop, it is yours if you would like to open anything there since I know you enjoy tattooing"

Before she can answer  the bill comes and a few people that recognize her come and start talking to her as Joshua gets up and leaves for the hotel telling her she would see her there.


Joshua is seen later that week, wearing his suit and tie, in the Orleans Arena back area talking to the coaches and players firing them up after they broke their five game losing skid the night before.  After the players leave Joshua pulls the coach to the side to have a word with him.  

“Mike I know you did some great things when you played here and that’s the reason I brought you in as coach and GM.  But I may have to think that over if we keep losing.  This is your warning.”

With that Joshua turns and walks out of the locker room leaving the coach speechless.  Joshua then heads out to the bench and takes off his jacket and tie of his suit and grabs a stick and partakes in the warm-ups as  he takes a couple shots and stops not wanting to fall since he isn’t in skates.  Joshua goes back to the bench and watches until the team heads to the back getting ready for the introductions.  Joshua heads to the back to make sure his team is hyped and ready to win.

“Ladies and gentlemen please welcome to the ice your Las Vegas Wranglers.”
After the team comes out and the starters are introduced Joshua comes out, now wearing a Wranglers jersey that the team has gotten him personalized with his name and own number, and heads to his seat for the night between the benches, he waves as he heads back to the tunnel.  As Joshua comes back through the curtain and onto the ice Nightmare hits the PA it takes some fans by surprise as he isn’t introduced like this.

“One last person to introduce and welcome the man that is the owner Joshua Acquin.  Also he will be dropping the first puck of this game with the Colorado Eagles and your Las Vegas Wranglers.”  

Joshua heads to the center ice waving the puck above his head as fans cheer for him as he gets to the center the captains come up and get ready as Joshua drops the puck to the ice.  After he drops it one captain picks it up and hands the puck to Joshua as he shakes both players hands and heads to his seat with some unknown female.  Joshua grabs a mic that he had brought down.

“Good afternoon Wranglers fans.  More importantly this is our last home game this month and we have a group that is special and dear to my heart and I let them get free admission to the game.  That group of people don’t always get the thanks they deserve and that is the US military.  I made sure you got free tickets throughout the arena I saw a few guys on the glass so beat that glass I also saw some higher up.  Cheer your heart out also all members in the military will get free food and drinks to include beer.  It is on me to give my thanks.  Enough with me I need to get to my seat I hope to see you all skate with the team after the game.  I will be down here with you guys tonight between the benches so feel free to talk to me during break I will talk to anyone that swings by.  Let’s go Wranglers kick some ass.”

Joshua goes and joins his friend in the area between the benches talking to players and coaches as the game starts.  

After the game Joshua goes down to the locker room and talks to the team after a tough loss.  

“Alright guys one hell of a game a couple calls didn’t go our way but put it behind you.  We have the fans out there that love you no matter what that are getting skates on right now to skate with the team let’s go out there and have a good time of signing things and taking pictures.”

As Joshua leaves the locker room wearing skates and carrying another pair of skates one of the team interviewers stops him to ask a couple questions.  

“Wrangler fans I am here with the owner of the Las Vegas Wranglers Joshua Acquin.  Tough loss today Joshua, some people think you are trying to be like Mark Cuban.  Care to comment on that?”  

“Sure I have no issues on taking on what some people may see as me trying to be like Mark Cuban.  So when he buys a baseball team and opens a wrestling school will he be trying to be like me?  Anyway for those people that think I am trying to be like him, no I am not.  I enjoy all that Las Vegas can offer and I would rather come out of my pocket and keep teams here.  Hell if it goes the way I want it to I could probably bring a NHL team here in the next five years.  People worry about me stretching myself to thin need to think again in GIW it was a show a week and on the major cards it was two in a week.  Well with SCW I work every week and after a major show I get two weeks, so it gives me time to be here or I can stay where ever the team is if I would rather.”  

“Ok next question is who was that female with you?”

“ Oh she is just a friend of the family she came into town for a week so I am being a nice host and showing her the town.”

With that Joshua abruptly ends the interview and heads to a room were the woman is waiting as he hands her skates he heads out to the ice.  While skating on the ice Joshua is stopped by people and asked to sign things and take pictures as well as one last one, when the event ends, with the team.  

Later in the week.

Fans boo as Ashlynn walks out on the stage

“Ladies and Gentlemen , may I introduce to you the three time GIW Television Champion, the one time GIW Tag Team Champion, the undefented here in SCW and soon to be your SCW Tag Team Champion.  He hails from “Sin City” Las Vegas Nevada he is the one and only Joshua Acquin.”

Nightmare hits the PA as Joshua walks down the ramp to the ring paying no attention to the fans.

“What a lovely welcome I have in this hell hole that just lost their ECHL hockey team. Who was you team anyway? The rainbow warriors? Now on a more important note, this week. This week I have the chance to win a title shot with the partner of my choice. All I have to do is beat a man that just recently unmasked his ugly face. I have never had to mask this face I am too good looking for mask, and I have nothing to hide. I have a chance to pin him and then I have the chance to take his belt with anyone I want. Who will I choose? Will I call my friend Ace Baldwin? Maybe I should call people from my old companies. Hell maybe I should choose my brother, seeing that we have held a tag team belt before. No don’t worry I will not choose him. I will tell you this, I will take you and drag you around this ring and I will enjoy it. I have held Tag Team Championships from other companies. I need to look at my options for who I want to tag with me. Don’t think I am overlooking you though Frost. Oh I never overlook anyone I face. I am focused on beating you this week, then I will find someone to beat you for the tag team belts. And when I do that I will ensure we will hold the belts the longest out of anyone here in SCW history.”

Joshua walks around the ring.

“People think that I need a special match in order to win. Where ever I go, people think I need a no disqualification match, a hardcore match, or a falls count anywhere match. True I enjoy those kind of matches. I enjoy causing pain to whomever walks down the ramp to face me. I enjoy hearing the screams of pain asking me to stop, but I don’t stop till I hear the bell and get my arm raised in victory. Maybe this week I don’t have that kind of match but it will still be a match where I will be victorious over a man that a couple weeks ago wore a mask because of his shame. Could it be that he lost his title match two years ago? True he held the SCW Roulette Championship for roughly two months. Now he is holding the SCW Tag Team Championship and is unmasked? When I beat him this week and take his Championship with my hand picked partner he will want to wear this again.”

Joshua pulls a mask that Frost wore before.

“I have had people calling me and asking me to pick them. I am not going to say who, but just think about the people I could choose. A one time SCW tag champ and fairly good friend of mine Ace Baldwin could be one. Then I could choose his own tag partner, would be a dick move but two is greater than one. Does anyone know where I can get some Guns for Hire? Or maybe I could get a little rad and pick a real chill tag team partner. Here is the big thing though the leadership here has said I could choose anyone, ANYONE. I could take a fat slob here in this hell hole…but I wouldn’t. I could take a Bombshell and then people would get mad because I broke the divisions down. People like to have men and women separate for some reason. Maybe it could be that people have this thing where women are less than men. I will tell you this if I do choose a bombshell I will ensure she is more than capable in taking a man out and pinning him on his back. So it doesn’t matter who I pick because I will do my work and will ensure I will pick a winner.”

With that Joshua drops the mic in the middle of the ring and motions around his waist for the belt he plans on winning.

DFW Airport

Landing at DFW, Joshua Acquin was looking to surprise long time friend, Tiffiny. She had no idea he was coming, and with her coming back to Las Vegas at the same time, he decided it would be a good surprise to pick her up himself. Walking to the rental car counter after getting his bags, Josh started to pull out his ID and credit card when the agent addressed him, "May I help you sir?"

He nodded, looking at the woman behind the counter as he said, "Yes, I have a car reservation under the name Acquin." The woman reached down and picked up a small stack of papers, handing them over to him, "Alright, that's no Problem I just need you to fill out this paper work, while I look up your reservation."

He let go of his bag and grabbed a nearby pen, filling out the paperwork, making sure to get the extra insurance which he always took while in the DFW metroplex area. Learning the hard way the first time he came back while leaving his car in Las Vegas. Handing back over the items, he said, "Here you go."

The woman nodded and looked at her computer screen, typing some things in and reading the screen, "I see you have a reservation for an Economy Standard, but I am sorry that we have none of those at this time. What I am going to do is upgrade your car to our Luxury, because of the inconvience. There's a shuttle outside waiting to take you to the parking garage." Nodding a little Josh paid for his car and got the keys to the Cadillac DTS, heading outside with his bag in tow. "Thanks." Walking out to the shuttle, he gets onto it and rides it out to the rental lot. He finds the car, with no problems there looking it over making sure that it's what he expected. Yes an upgrade this surprise trip to see his Tiffiny, already off to a good start. Thinks she can pull a fast one on him and go to Vegas without letting him know. Nodding some as he looked at the car.

As he's put his things into the back, and gets into the driver’s seat, his cell phone starts to ring. He picks it up off the passenger seat and looks at the caller ID. It's Tiffiny. He closes the car door and starts it so she can’t hear any of the noises outside, the airplanes coming and going. "Hey Tiffiny how are you doing?"

She sighed on the other line, "Hey Joshua, I am doing fine. Just wondering when are you coming to see me? I miss you. Unemployment can't be keeping you that busy." He snickered, he was right there in Dallas/Fort Worth, but lied to her anyways, "I'm going to try to see you sometime next week. I've been really busy the last couple weeks down here.  Lost my job and now I got to find a new place to go, I have a couple lined up, it maybe I should skip and go to Dallas." He hears her sigh again, followed by, "But, I miss you though. My father's being unbearable this week.  I miss talking to you"
Hey what are you doing tonight?" "Well I am planning on going to this one place called La Fiorentina, it has great Italian food." "Are you going by yourself?" "No silly I am going with friends from out of town.


Later that night

He pulled into La Fiorentina right around 7:45, wearing a nice suit, a bouquet of red roses for Tiffiny. Walking up to the hostess, he caught her attention and she smiled as she said, "May I help you sir?" He nodded some, and checked his watch as he said, "Yes, I'm meeting a friend, she has a reservation. I'm actually surprising her, and I wanted to get to the table before her." Starting to scan the list the woman asked, "What's the name?" He thought for a moment, "It should be under Tiffiny." The hostess nodded and smiled as she found the name on the list, picking up two menu's and a wine list as she said, "Right this way, please." [/color

She lead him to a table it the back private room. As usual having a friend you is a celebrity herself, will do that. Before the woman walked away, Joshua asked,"Please tell her that her friend is here but don’t tell her it is me." She turned to leave the area, leaving Joshua by himself in the private booth. The next few minutes seemed to last forever as he awaited his friend. This was the first time he'd surprised her like this. He don’t know how she was going to respond.

Soon he saw the Hostess come back toward the room with Tiffiny in tow. She smiled at the young man as she gestured towards the table and said, "Here we are Ma’am. Enjoy your stay."She smiled before she noticed him, but it wasn't long. Her eyes lit up as she saw Josh there instead of any of her other friends and she moved to the table quickly. He smiled and hugged her tightly as he stood up to meet her, "Well, I wanted to surprise you so I came all the way out here to see you and take you back to Las Vegas with me." She smiled as she nodded towards the roses.

"So is that what this trip is for?" She was curious, looking back at him, watching him smile slyly, "I needed to get away from Vegas for a few days and thought I would come to Dallas for a few days and come to dinner here with you.  I have to find a new company to wrestle for, so this is also a stop to find one as well as clear my mind." She grinned,"Joshua you know I know the real you, you put a front on for all the people in the company’s you have been in and now that you don’t have that company,  you don’t want to work?." He nodded, "I know. I just feel that I need to look out for what’s best for me and what is best for my future, could include you."

April 14th
Buenos Aires, Argentina - Estadio Luna Park

Nightmare hits the PA as fans boo Joshua as he walks though the curtain down to the ring.  He avoids the outstretched hands of the fans from Argentina.

I don’t need to go into all the things that I will do here in SCW.  I will let my past deeds do the talking.  I am a multi time television champion, I am a tag team champion, I am a hardcore champion, I am a legend at my last company and it will be only a matter of time till I am one here as well.  I know a few guys in the back and I know they don’t like me at all.  Hell I helped one win their title match they had.  Just ask Aspen about the cage and handcuffs, hell if I remember correctly I did a quick count for her.  Now I come here and I get to start at the bottom and that’s fine with me.  There was a time where I thought I was going to retire but then I saw the light here at SCW.  Tonight I will win my first match here at SCW and I will put all the champions on watch.  Tonight it starts with Casper Grey; we are both the newer guys here and I have never heard of him.  But that will not stop me from kicking the living shit out of him, how will I win?  Make him tap?  Have him on his back for the 1…2….3?  I guess we will see tonight when I win.  Now if you don’t mind I have to take my friend up there out for a good time after I win tonight.

With that Joshua turns around and walks back up the ramp to a waiting Tiffiny and walks up and walks into the back with her.
