Joshua is seen walking backstage after winning against a rookie that was placed in front of him.  As he turns the corner near his locker room a person comes over to interview him.

“Joshua tonight you got the win using a new submission move care to comment on that?”

Joshua gets a smirk on his face.

“Sure it is called a cross face it is a move I have been working on for sometime and also Jeff tried to get away and I was able to pull more on his arm and it caused him to tap.  Before you ask no I haven’t thought of a name for it due to the fact that it was a spur of a moment thing.”

“Do you have any plans for the off week?”

“Well since we just saw Amy win her match and become the new Bombshell Roulette Champion, I am sure I am going to hang out with her.”

“What about Joey, is there any bad blood…”

“Bad blood, why because over a year ago on SCWs Japan tour I let Amy know I liked her?  Maybe if you recall she told my she didn’t think of me like that.  So what did I do?  I went and became more of a brother to her.  I know a bit about her that stays between the two of us.  She knows I have her back and would do almost anything for her.  Now if you don’t mind I would like to change and get out of here and go back to my house.”

Joshua slams the locker room door as he goes through it.

Joshua is seen in his wrestling school walking around an area with six rings each with people in them.  He comes to one with his sister Ashlynn in it.

“Ash how are the women doing here?”

Ashlynn looks at Joshua and get out of the ring and walks up to him.

“How are they doing?  I think they are getting better by the day.  I mean there are a few that I think need to change their focuses on being a wrestler to something else such as a manager.  Those folks have better mic skills than the others.  Then there are those with both the mic skills and wrestling abilities.  I think I know what you are trying to do, you want me to pick out two to wrestle for the women’s championship here.”

Joshua nods his head.

“You know me quite well.  That’s only one thing I want.  Also, I was looking at doing a six person tag team championship with two guys and one female per team.   I also want all the women that you think can wrestle and we will have a tournament to crown the first women’s champion.  I was also debating on bringing a manager with me to SCW.”

Ashlynn shakes her head.

“What I am not good enough?”

Joshua laughs.

“I have never said that.  I want to give them a taste of way up there in SCW.  It pushes them to do more.  Now I need to find Austin and talk to him.”

Joshua and Ashlynn hug as she goes back to the ring she was in to train the people she was as they were staring at them as they talked.  A short while later Joshua finds Austin.

“Austin just getting an update on how these guys are doing.  Who am I kidding I train them with you so I just have a few things to run by you.  I want names for three tournaments, tag teams, and also names for a six person championship.”

Austin looks at Joshua kind of puzzled.

“Why so much we just opened the school back up.  Is there another motive for this”

“I just want to have this ran as I have envisioned it being ran.  I want them to practice as if it was real.  Have shows open for people.  Have them wrestle in front of crowds.  Have them win titles so they can get the feeling.  Make them have that drive.”

“Didn’t you try this before we closed down?”

“Yes yes I know but I took on everything my self and didn’t seek out from others.  I have a place to hold events where I can charge people so we can pay the students back so they get that feeling."

“Is that all Joshua?”

“I am also thinking about getting a protégé to follow me.  I will train them.  I could care less if it is a man or a woman.  I am getting to the end of my wrestling career here in the next couple of years.  When I do I don’t want to leave a hole where I was.  Over the last year we have seen that a few times.”

“Alright I will look and let you know.”

Joshua is in the ring at the wrestling school.  He has all the students around the ring.  Standing in the ring with him are his brother and sister.

“Welcome everyone.  I have called you here to let you know that we are making some changes to the way we do a few things here.  Some of you are doing great here with everything.  Some of you my siblings and myself will talk to you about doing something else in the scope of the wrestling rules.  We will recommend the possibility of being a referee, a manager, or commentary.  This will roll into what we plan on doing.  The plan is to make this place like a federation so you will train and have shows.  I have a few championships that will be contended for.  Eight will go for the Las Vegas Championship, eight for the Roulette championship, not to be confused with SCWs.  Eight for the silver star championship.  Now I have not forgot the women, we will have four go toward the Sin City Women’s champion.  Also we will have a six person championship, two men and one women per team.  Men face men and women vs women.  Good luck, I will have my eye on everyone and look out for the belts."

Nightmare hits the PA is Joshua walks out from the back soaking up all the boos from the crowd as he walks down the ramp to the ring mocking the fans and laughing about it.  As he gets to the ring he walks around to the announcer table and grabs a microphone and gets into the ring.

“I told each and every one of you that I would be victorious at Inception and every one of you fools thought I was washed up since I couldn’t put away the champ.  You all expected me to lay down and pass the torch onto the amateur here in SCW.  That’s not how it happens I have yet to see any newcomer that has the skills to lace my boots.  It isn’t worth my time to be in the ring with them.  I have held many singles championships, true not here in SCW but I am a two time SCW World Tag Team Champion and that is more gold than most get here.  I want to win my first singles championship here and I am willing to do whatever it takes.  I have taken the champ to the limit.  How do they repay me winning?  The management puts me in another match with a amateur and TNA.  I know TNA quite well and I know what to expect from him.  Lately he has been on his refocusing tour where he uses Ruby just like another person uses his woman to distract people from what he has to do.  Yes I am taking a shot at the fearless or should I say fearful one Steve Ramone.  I don’t have to use anyone to distract people from anything I do.  But as of late it seems like Ruby has found a better man.  Last time you went for gold you came up a little short witch Ruby got someone a little short to fill that gap.  I am going to say this right here to you TNA stay out of my way and I will not cause you to take the loss.  Get in my way and I will make you pay.”

Yeah I just called out the champion out to the ring.  To me I think a champion is more than the belt they wear.  They are the face that is the company, for SCW it is J2H.  Now he has said some things I took offence to and I couldn’t let it go.  You don’t sit there and call one of my friend’s a whore, in so many words that is what he alluded to Ms. Marshal as.  Now I know I haven’t written in this blog in some time as most in the crowd could care less about me and what I am doing.  Now as far as Ms. Marshal I will have to say a few things.  First we are not a thing, she has a great man in Joey.  Second her love for Japan is second to none.  Next she is a great role model for women to look up to.  Yes, you can ask about the videos and what not but, I must say that you have to admit that she is a great business woman that is a champion in her field.  This week I will not have a championship match.  No I will be fighting for something more, honor.  I want to be one that people can look up to and can say I want to be like him.  Now people have asked me if I was crazy calling out the champ like I had done in Reno.  Your damn right I am crazy because a woman should not be called that or even insinuated that.
Now J2H has some things going for him in this life.  He has the money, the championship, and a lovely wife.  Now half of me thinks that if someone did the same thing to his wife he would be in the same boat as I am right now.  However we are dealing with a boy that tried to earlier this year annul the marriage to that lovely woman Melody.  How crazy do you have to be to want to leave a woman like that?  He is some punk that thinks the rules don’t apply to him.  I was there before where I thought I could do whatever I wanted to do.  But then I grew up.  See you this weekend at the Gold Coast.

Nightmare plays over the PA as fans cheer Joshua as he comes out from the back wearing his wrestling attire high-fiving  fans and taking pictures with them.  The ring has tables in it with items under a cloth, also there is a couple picture easels set up with a cloth covering what is under them.  Joshua gets onto the apron of the ring and wipes his boots before he enters the ring.  Joshua poses on the turn buckle as the fans cheer for him.

“Wow is that what I have been missing all this time where I didn’t think I needed the cheers?  Thank you I am very honored to receive your cheers after all I have said and done.  Now for those of you that don’t know me my name is Joshua Acquin.  I have been to a lot of different companies, won titles, I run my resort just down the road, and I own a couple sports teams.  I will tell you this I am one that cares dearly for my friends as I only have few of them.  While I was out this time with what the doctors called food poisoning on that cruise ship, I took time off for myself to heal up.  Now as I was recovering I can’t lie that the thought of retiring crossed my mind…But then as I was going through all of this I had people visit me in my office, write fan mail, and call my phone.  I still have to find out who gave out my phone number.  But I had one person that I could talk to and she gave me her opinion on what I was thinking.  I could come to her about anything.  I brought things I couldn’t bring to my family, due to how they would answer the questions.  It has been roughly six months this has been going on and while I was out two became one.  I know people are like that’s quick after your failed marriage before.  This one is different from the start, there was no kid to start with that someone twisted emotions to make people think that child was mine but after I found out she was using me I had to let her go.  But this woman that became my wife recently I have had the joys of talking to her about issues that really affect me.  She told me I still have it to be here in this ring day in and day out.   Then I hear some punk talk about my friend like that gave me the chance I was looking for.  Now one more thing I couldn’t help but hear you think I have a thing for Amy?  If it is anything it is a brother sister relationship.  When we were in Japan I let me feelings about her known and she declined my advances.  Now people will laugh that I was friend-zone but I am here to tell you she does that to everyone.”

Joshua walks around the tables pointing at the two tables.

“Now I know you probably are wondering what is under all this and I am here to tell you and show you that someone says I am not in their league.  This could be but he is dismissing me after knowing very little of me so I will show and tell something here.”

Joshua takes the cloths and rips them off the tables that are holding championship belts.

“Now J2H you think you are all that but I will tell you this real simple.  All these belts are ones I have won.  I have my very first one that I had handed to me.  It is right here and I cherish it daily.  That one was one where I took the champion to the limit in an extreme rules match.  The next week he handed me this championship, management was messing with his contract and he didn’t like it so he handed it over to me.  From there I went to a company where I met my friend Amy.  There I won my match to win an Anarchy Championship.  True I lost it a month later but I fought my heart out to keep it.  Next are my tag belts I have held.  From East Coast to West Coast to here in SCW I have had the honor to be the top tag team in the company.  Those tag belts are more hard to hold then your Heavyweight Championship.  I say that due to the fact you have to rely on another person not only yourself.  I will tell you this that everywhere I have gone to I am a legend.  I don’t do this for the championships, I do it to put the best shows on for the fans.  I could care less about the Hall of Fame.  If some child and their parent come here and have a great time and bond that’s great in my book.  Maybe it is due to me being older but I love the fans.  Now I have said I have grown some in the past decade and I will tell you this, when I was younger I collected baseball and other sports cards.  Well now I collect the players for my teams.”

Joshua takes the cloths off of the picture frames and under them are picture frames with jerseys in them.

“Here you see one of the best teams I have paid for to own.  I own the Las Vegas Wranglers and soon they will be affiliated with the Vegas Golden Knights as the official AHL team for them.  People asked won’t that be bad to have both teams in the same city?  To that I say no.  Our ticket prices will stay roughly the same and  we give another option to watch hockey here that cost less than the Golden Knights.  Now I have told you of my success team, now I will say that with every good there is bad.  On this one you see the jersey for what was to be the Winnipeg Bobcats.  Now we had players signed ready to go and then the league just went away without letting anyone know.  I am hopeful that someday I will be able to remake this team.  But you may think Joshua why did you bring this up even?  Why this doesn’t have anything to do with your match this week.  To you I say that this does I am like each and every one of you.  I have highs, and I have lows.  People like J2H try to hide his lows as best he can.  That’s why he has his bodyguards.  I have had them in the past, I used them to help in my matches just like he does.  I see when he doesn’t have them he has issues.”

Joshua paces around the ring looking at everything that he has done.

“You know there is one thing that is great about growing old and wise.  I see everything I have done and accomplished and I am happy with it all.  If I was to never win another championship or make it into the Hall of Fame I am content.  I want to put on the best match for everyone that watches at home and here at the events.  I am not about wins and loses I am about entertaining each and everyone that watches this product.  I am ready to put a show on this weekend.”

Joshua gets onto the turnbuckle again and poses as Nightmare plays over the PA.

This week maybe the biggest one in my SCW career but I am ready to go out there and  knock some respect into the champion.  Since I posted m last post here people want to know more about what I did while I was away from the ring.  I will say that it has been up and down for me.  I have lost a close friend to me due to leukemia and I have seen the effects that has on other people and how it can bring people together.  I am getting ready to continue filming a movie that will be out next year.  As I said in the ring I was really thinking about hanging up my boots but I have a strong woman in my life that knows me better than I know myself.  Now I have been given this great Christmas present in the form of beating respect into J2H and I can’t wait to show him. Make sure you watch as I whip him all around the ring.  Have a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year’s.

 Joshua is seen in the back after his match at Into the Void V.  He is smiling after what had transpired after his match, his brother bringing him some handcuffs, the beat down, and finally the reveal of Austin helping him.  To some fans they were seeing the tag team division growing leaps and bounds that night with more people returning and new people showing up.  Joshua takes a swig of water as he grabs his bag and starts to head out the door but before he could leave to catch his plane he sees Amy Marshall sitting by herself so he heads over to her and gives her a hug.

“Hey it’s OK, you win some and you lose some.  Tonight wasn’t your night.  I am on my way to Miami but when I get back we will have to hang out in the off time.”

Joshua gives her another hug before heading out the door.

“I love you like my sister.  You have my number.”

Joshua’s jet lands at Miami Executive Airport the door opens up and Joshua steps out onto the tarmac and thanks his crew and the crew from the airport for the great job they did.  He heads to the terminal and messages his friend Justin Sprit and lets him know he has made it to Miami.  Joshua gets a message on his phone and looks at the message about his Uber driver in route to pick him up.  The driver pulls up and Joshua puts his bags in the car and gives directions to the location Joshua is meeting Justin.  After some small talk between the driver and Joshua they hit a long red light.

“So what are you in town for?”

“Well I am here to see a friend and go to the ECWF Madness show.”

“Oh I watch that all the time.  Who do you think will win the main event this week?”

“I would have to say my friend Justin Spirit.”

The driver looks into the rearview mirror and finally recognizes who he is driving around.

“You are Joshua Acquin right?”

“I am the one and only.”

“I thought you were in Japan for the Sin City Wrestling show.  Umm…Into the Void.”

“Yes I was there and then hopped onto a plane here since I was invited by Justin.”
The driver’s eyes got big when he said the name.

“You know Justin?  He is my favorite wrestler in ECWF.”

“Yes I am quite good friends and at one point and time was his tag team partner.
They drive a bit more and continue to converse about Justin and Joshua’s time in ECWF, his US championship and why he seemed to leave ECWF.  They pull up to the hotel where Joshua is staying at and he gets out and thanks the driver pays him and tips him a hundred dollars.

Joshua is walking into the SCW headquarters and is stopped by none other than Pussy Willow.

“Joshua do you have a quick minute for an interview?”

“I have some time for someone as lovely as you are.”

“Ladies and gentlemen I am here with SCWs own Joshua Acquin.  Joshua you have been here in SCW for a while what are your fondest memories here?”

“Well Pussy I have not been here from the start I came in at Climax Control 48 facing Casper Grey in a match that was short and to the point.  After that I disappeared from a while, not that I didn’t love SCW at the time but I had a prior engagement that didn’t let me break contract with them.  I then reappeared at My Bloody Valentine where I won again and became a mainstay here at SCW.  I would say I would put my winning the SCW Tag team championship one of my highlights.  Also seeing my friend Amy Marshall become the first Grand Slam Champion in SCW history was great”

“Joshua you said you had a prior engagement was that your now ex-wife?”

“Wow I tried to put that behind me but you just brought it back up.  That’s ok though.  That was not the case however, it was to a prior company that had my contract and they forced me to only wrestle for them or they would fine me quite a sum of money.  So I had to work for them.”

“So do you keep in contact with your ex-wife?”

“What kind of crazy man do I look like?  I would rather drag my body through lava then talk to the cheating, lying, psychopath whore of my ex-wife.”

“Are you planning on leaving SCW anytime in the future?”

“I would have to say no I am not planning on doing that since I am quite happy here.  Management here gives the freedom to do what I want.  With that said yes the dreaded R word comes closer each day but that is a while till I get there.  When it does come I hope that Mark Ward would bring me in to become a road agent.”

“Last question, are you in a relationship?”

“Right now no I am not and after finishing up the last two tours I have finally started looking again.”

Pussy Willow doesn’t get to say bye to Joshua as he sees Mark ward and starts to talk to him.

Nightmare hits the PA system in the Gold Nugget ball room.  Joshua and Austin come out and stand at the top of the ramp while the crowd boos them.  Joshua looks at Austin and mouths see how they boo me for no reason.  Austin mouths don’t worry.  They walk down the ramp and pose on the corners as fans boo even more.

“Wow I have been gone for two months and you still boo me.”

“Hey Joshua it seems like you beat up their favorite stars here in SCW.”

“True I have done that, I mean I even sent one back to his home land broken and battered.  But wait how rude of me.  My name is Joshua Acquin and this handsome guy is none other than my younger brother Austin.  From here on out our team name is The Arrogance of Excellence.  Where ever we have gone we have won tag gold and individual gold.  It is only a matter of time until we get gold right here in SCW.  We don’t care who we have to face to get it.  We cold have to face Bad Company, The Monstimals, The Surf Boys, or Team BJ.  We don’t care, they will all fall to us on our way to the belts.”

“Let me put it to you this way Joshua and I are very good at what we do.  Hell we both are skilled veterans of the squared circle.  We have faced each other.  My own brother snapped my ankle in order to get a championship match.  Was I mad? No, I knew it was business and that night we enjoyed every bar in that small town in Texas.”

“Now it has come to my attention that something I have said on my twitter feed was offending another group of people.  Now I under the counsel of my lawyers have asked me to apologize to said person and I did online by that was not enough for this person as she had the gull to tell me to do it live on Climax Control 150 this week right here in this ring.”

“I don’t think you should do it Joshua.  That little….”

“Austin I have got it sometimes you have to be the bigger person and do what is right so this week you will see me in this ring doing just that.  Anyway this week we face a man I have faced in Jon Dough and his tag team partner of Eyesnase.  Now Jon has not mustered a win over me.  I also took the title from him, now I may have taken his partner Mr. Frost, but let’s get real it wouldn’t have mattered who I picked I was hot and going to win.  I will win this time with my brother Austin with me.”

“Now I may be new to SCW but I am far from a rookie.  I have been a tag champion in three other federations with Joshua.  I have held other championships at those places. I have even faced Joshua for them and defended against him.  We may fight each other but when you get right down to it, blood is thicker than anything.  So we will be going to the top of the tag division and if one of us, will be very rare, gets put on the shelf, the other will go to the top in the Internet championship or the roulette championship.”

Joshua paces around the ring.

“Now for my soft side everyone here doesn’t know that I have a soft heart for dogs and cats.  So much so that I have three of each.  Each one of them has their own personality.  But there are people that get puppies for their girlfriend, mom, daughter, son, whoever without thinking about how big they will get or how much work they take.  All my pets come from the Humane society here in Las Vegas.  I take time out of my busy day and help them with whatever they need.  They need a walker I am there; they need someone to work a phone I am there.  Everyone needs to get involved however they can.  With that said for anyone that gets a pet within the next month I will buy the first bag of food and get their shots and registration for anyone.  But with that if at any point and time you feel you can’t take care of them I will take them no questions asked.  I will also donate $250,000 to our local branch here.”
For the first time Joshua is being cheered by the fans.

“Alright that’s enough of that find me one person that can resist an animal and I will show you a politician that tells the truth all the time.  I think my recent record speaks for its self when I say I am going to hurt someone I have.  I have gone through the favorites here in SCW.  I know folks would love to see me face the Fearless One Steve Ramone for his Fearless championship, but he hasn’t returned my calls.  Seems like he is full of fear.  Some would love to see me face the current Roulette Champion, but I have to step back and re-focus on me.  Now I am back in the tag division, I am going to get the gold and will springboard with my brother into singles…”

Austin stops Joshua from talking more.

“Joshua I know I have told you this before, but you talk too much.  The thing Is it doesn’t matter who we face we will make them all wish they didn’t face us.”

Joshua stops Austin from talking.

“Austin first off you know I am the mouth for us you are the pretty face for the group.  Second I hate when you do that.  Now let’s see if the guys in the back can use the right song, got to remember to remind them every time.”

100 Ways to Hate (Remix) by Five Finger Death Punch hits the PA as Joshua and Austin lave the ring heading to the back.

 Joshua is stopped by Pussy Willow while walking in the back after taking out his latest victim.

“Joshua do you have a minute?”

Joshua turns around and looks at her.

“Well if it isn’t the head interviewer here in SCW.  How’s it going Ms. Willow?”

“It is going fine Joshua but why did you go out there and beat down a man that had already been beaten by a seven foot monster?”

Joshua chuckles to himself.

“Well if you must know I was tired of seeing that guy stink up my ring and I am here to clean up SCW and hell if I can get my hands on them I am going to hurt them.”

Before anything else can be said Joshua walks away.

Nightmare plays over the PA as Joshua comes out from the back walking down the ramp as fans boo him.  Joshua just laughs as he walks past the fan made signs that has a counter on people Joshua has taken out.  Joshua gets to the ring and takes a lap as the boos continue as he does so.  As his theme fades out he brings the mic to his lips.

“Thank you for the very warm reception.  I know how everyone feels about me becoming the quote hitman of Sin City Wrestling.  I would have to say thanks to Hot Stuff Mark Ward in helping me bring back the Joshua Acquin of old.  I love it, I hope I have made it clear to the back.  I don’t care who you are champion or not, I will break you.  The two I have taken out so far no one has heard anything from them since I put them on the shelf.  But this is only the beginning of what I have started three weeks ago.  Maybe I can branch out and get a bombshell on my side and we can clean up SCW one by one.  Now this is getting me excited because it takes me back to a time when I first got here I took SCW by storm and shocked the whole roster and fans alike when I won a chance at the SCW World Tag Team Championship.  I picked one half of the current champs and won.  Now when I start doing this.”

Joshua points up to the screen and smiles when the clip play.

 OOC:I know this is crap but this week my wife went to her friend's for the week and I figured I had time but then my three kids desided to play pass the sickness including to me.  I am sorry to both competitors looks like whoever wins it deserves it.

Nightmare hits the PA in the arena as Joshua appears from the back and walks toward the ring in what could be said a determined mood.  Once he hits the ring he goes for a microphone and gives the universal cut the music.

“My name is Joshua Acquin and at Blaze of Glory I have a match for the roulette title.  Most don’t think I belong in the match.  Maybe I do, maybe I don’t.  One thing that got me, struck my nerve is when Mark was one to say that I lost my edge.  Now Mark and I go back I was in HIS, whatever happen to that Mark?  You let it go by the way side.  You couldn’t handle a group.  All you wanted to do was stick your name on a group to stroke your ego and I joined to stroke mine.  Then I was expecting maybe some help during my matches, it never came.  Flash forward to now where he says I lost something.  Where he gets off now is finding more things to do to Melody and after talking to her in the back it makes me sick to have been associated with him.  So even if I lose this triple threat I am going to start a revolution against Mark and standing up to the demons here in SCW.  I know I can’t win everyone back to liking me.  Hell since I have been here everyone has hated me.  I am ready to face the demons and what they caused me to do.  Mark you are washed up and act big from behind the desk.  I could do the same thing but I battle in this ring.  Come after what does at Blaze of Glory; win, lose, or draw Mark I want you in this ring at the next Supercard.  Now I am a gambling man and I will say this what are you willing to put on the line.  I will tell you what I am willing to put up once I hear yours.”

Joshua paces around the ring.

“Now that I got that off of my chest the match at hand against James and Steve.  Both men are great, James is that spark plug and Steve is just Steve.  You pulled a fast one Steve with a Steve’s rule match.  Most would say that’s the best match of the night due to that.  This time it won’t happen.  My goal is for you to lose it while James or I walk out with it."

 Joshua is seen in the back just after talking to Steve. Walking around to find Mark’s office, when he arrives Mark is busy with someone else so Joshua writes a note and pins it onto the door and walks off. As he walks away the camera catches what the not says.

Joshua is seen in his office reading the paper where the headline reads that the pig farm in North Las Vegas is moving from where it is after people have been complaining about it more and more. Joshua thinks to himself about the day when he made his first deal and it was to the farm. But in order to get it Joshua had to do some work for the owners. He sat there and started to write an editorial about it.

Ten years ago, right around this time, I wandered onto a pig farm in North Las Vegas to meet a guy named Bob Combs. As always, I didn’t know the precise nature of what awaited me, which is partly why the ensuing 12 hours were among the most delightfully disgusting and unforgettable I’ve ever experienced. So when I learned that Bob and Janet were pulling up stakes, I must confess I was overcome with a sudden feeling of sadness

I’ll never forget that massive cooker in Bob’s backyard - a towering, Rube Goldbergian
contrivance cobbled together with random parts from various junkyards. Conveyor belts traveled in every direction, transporting an unholy smorgasbord of food scraps into a giant stew pot three stories high where they were brought to a slow and aromatic boil. Bob said the smell reminded him of a “bakery.” Opinions vary, but the machine itself was undeniably brilliant, and Bob built the thing himself, by hand.

Also unforgettable: the pick-up truck from WWI, the silos filled with rancid ice cream, the hospitality of his lovely wife Janet, the diabolical feed cart that redefined conventional notions of “right” and “left,” the mud, the smell, the expression of wonder on Barsky’s face, the perpetual soundtrack of squealing and slurping, and of course, several hundred ravenous pigs that ate like kings, thanks to the ingenuity and dedication of a man who takes his vocation very seriously.

Bob Combs is also a genuine steward of the environment. I’m not talking about a traditional proponent of all things “green,” or a champion of the latest codes and compliance - God knows, Bob is not a poster child for the EPA, and over the years he’s stepped on the toes of more than a few elected officials. But you’ll not find a more perspicacious or persuasive advocate for commonsense recycling than Bob Combs.

For 50 years, Bob has brought his pigs to market with Vegas house money. As other farmers pay more and more for grain, Bob controls expenses by collecting countless tons of uneaten buffet food from casinos and feeding it to hundreds of pigs. Hard work to be sure, but over the decades, it’s impossible to overstate his impact on the local ecology by working smart as well as hard. No shortcuts. Bob’s approach to conservation is so rooted in practicality. It was Bob who showed me that Brown was a far more sensible better color to rally behind, for those serious about sustainability and meaningful conservation.

Nightmare hits the PA in the Rialto Theater in Tucson Arizona. The fans boo as Joshua walks onto the top of the ramp. He walks down the ramp and gets into the ring quickly walking over to the edge to grab a microphone.

“Cut my music. Mark I asked for a title match aginst Steve and this week you slap me in the face and give me a match aginst Matt Spears? Come on Mark I thought we were cool. Remember HIS, where I did all your dirty work in this ring? Is that what I have to do? Do I have to come down here and beat Matt to a bloody pulp to get this? If that’s the case then Matt I hope you have great insurance that will take care of your family while you are in the hospital. I don’t hate you I am going to step on every throat and break every knee cap to get what is rightfully mine. Steve has a match one on one that he will give me. I still owe him for that belt hit he had when we lost our tag championships. So Mark until I get that match I am going to destroy everything you place in front of me. I will interfe in Steve’s matches in the Blast from the Past events. Sorry Alexis I know you don’t care for your partner in the tournament anyway. So I will destroy anyone you place in front of me starting with Matt Spears.”

Joshua drops the mic and walks to the back.

Joshua is in the back with trainers after his match with a bag of ice on his head as they check him out the camera catches the pain he is in as they have dimmed the lights due to him complaining that it was giving him a head ache.

“Joshua I think you have had a concussion and I am going to have to say you will be off the road for some time.  Take it easy and maybe take some extra time to recover you are not as young as before where you could bounce back.”

Joshua nods his head grimacing in pain.

“Alright doc I will thanks again for everything.”

With that Joshua puts some sunglasses before he walks out the door to leave the building.

Joshua is seen at his desk going over some contracts for his resort as he is planning for New Years Eve events. He is so focused on the task at hand he doesn’t hear his phone ring and when he gets a text does he realize that he missed a call.

The text message is from his brother asking if he wanted to do some lunch and go to the gym. Joshua text him back that he will see him for lunch and asked where he wanted to go. After a few minutes of shuffling paper he gets a text back from Austin telling him where to meet at. Joshua neatly organizes his desk and grabs his suit jacket and leaves the office giving direction to his secretary to when hearing nods. Joshua is heading to his car when another message comes in from a youtuber that has requested to do an interview.

Joshua messages him back and tells him where to meet after he has lunch and gym time.

Joshua is seen at Oscar's Steakhouse sitting with Austin chatting as they eat.
“So hows the head holding up Joshua?”

“It was a real eye opener after they sent me home because of the concusion. At first I was upset but with all that I have gone through since I feel great but SCW management wants to make sure that I am good to go.”

“That’s good I know how it can drive you batty to sit and do nothing. I mean they had to give you something to do.”

“Yea they have me right now working as a road agent helping out the younger guys in the back as well as part of the set-up crew. The funny thing is when I get to go back I hope I don’t have too much rust on me for being out now it has been two months and SCW wants me out one more month."

“That’s why we are going to the gym after here to ensure that you are still as good as before.”

“You know I have an interview after our gym time with some you tuber that has been bugging me for a month to do it. It just feels like it is time to do an interview that doesn’t have anything to do with work, and if it does I hope it isn’t too much.”

With that they finish up there meals and head over to Joshua’s house to go to his gym. When they are finishing up Joshua looks at hi and messages the blogger to let them know that it will be a couple more hours till he is done with his workout.

Joshua waits about five minutes and then the door opens and a female walks in having purple hair wearing jeans and a SCW Nightmare Tshirt.  She walks up to Joshua and shakes his hand.

“Hi Joshua my name is Steph I am so glad you agreed to do a interview with my youtube channel.”

“No problem.  Go ahead and wait here while I change out of my gym clothing.”

As Joshua goes to the locker room Steph puts her bags down and sits in a chair waiting.  After about ten minutes Joshua comes out in jeans and a t-shirt.  He picks up Steph’s bags as he passes by an motions for her to follow.  They go out to Joshua’s BMW and he opens the trunk and puts his gym bag in the trunk.

“Did you want a ride?”

“A a a are you sure you want to let me ride in your car?”

“That is why I am asking since it would be easier sometimes the guards can be
dicks to visitors."

Even before Joshua finishes she is in the car waiting.  Joshua puts her stuff into the trunk and gets into the driver’s seat and drives off to his house.  When they get to the house Joshua helps and gets Steph’s bag and takes it inside and offers her water as he is getting himself some.  After about thirty minutes of set up Steph calls Joshua over and starts the interview.  

“Welcome wrestling fans to the first ever Steph’s Corner where I interview wrestlers.  What better way to start this series off than to have the honor of interviewing my favorite wrestler, Sin City’s own Joshua Acquin.”  

The camera pans out to show Joshua sitting on the couch next to Steph and does a wave to the camera.

“Thank you for having me on your show and even for the first show.  I am honored.”

“Joshua I have followed you for years, from your very first match.  If you could have your best match of all time when would it have been?”

“Wow you pull this one out of nowhere I would have to say my second match ever I had.  It was for the company I was with, it was for their extreme championship which I lost the match but still won the title in a backstage segment I had impressed the guy and he was leaving the company that he gave it to me.  To prove it wasn’t a fluke I had a match with another champion for the company made a champ vs champ with the belts on the line.  I won and was a double champion.  The next show I tag with who I would have to say is my favorite person to tag with for some time.  That show I became there tag Championship so I was a Triple Crown champion there while holding all three belts.  They had lined me up to fight for the Heavyweight championship to where I would hold all the gold in the company if I won however they shut down before that.”

“That was at real wrestling reborn if I remember correctly.”

“Yes it was I really enjoyed that company but moved onto other companies ran by the owner, as well as branching out to other companies.  Besides SCW I think the longest I have been employed by a company was in Galveston where I was known to curse a title.  They swore the Television championship was cursed because only I could hold it for more than a week.  I would have to say working for SCW and GIW was a chore due to flying and hardly any down time but as sad as it was GIW closed was one sad day but a joist day because I could rest more.”

“Speaking of other companies and friends made what is the latest with you and Amy Marshall?”

Joshua laughs.

“Well right now I have her tied up in my dungeon as she likes to be…No I am single and both Amy and I have a brother, sister relationship.  I would do anything for her and bend over backwards to help her.  When we went to Japan a year ago I let my feeling known and she in the nicest way told me she sees me more as a brother than a lover to her.  Sure I was crushed but our friendship is really strong.”

Steph looks down at her paper before talking again.

“I know how that could be but how long have you known Amy?”

“I have known her for a few years saw her in WCWF when I was there I had a girlfriend which turned sour and fast where I had a match against my girlfriend, ex by then.  It was a Loin’s Den match.  Basically a MMA match with weapons and a razor wire ropes.  I was enraged by real life and I regret what I did to my ex Maria in that ring.  I basically beat her to a pulp and then as I was going to toss her lifeless body into the razor wires her husband, whom she married when we were together, ran out and took my knee out and threw me into the wire.  It was the most painful feeling in the world.  So I was there bleeding out and screaming in pain as the two love birds laughed at my pain.  I was asked if I wanted to give up as I was being mocked by Maria and her husband.  I spat in there faces telling them to fuck off as I loss conciseness due to blood loss.  The next thing I remember was waking up in the hospital with a cop there to arrest me for the match.  Luckily I have great lawyers.  But I held the guilt and then I met Amy and she helped me through some real dark times.  As I have for her.”

“When you came back to SCW you were given a tag team title match where you were able to pick your partner on that and you chose one half of the tag team champions how did that come to be.”

“Some things are better to be left back stage I think.”

“Alright Joshua so over the past year you have had a rough time as it seemed everything when down the shitter.”

“That is putting it lightly.  The year started off great got married and then went on the SCW World tour.  I got wins and losses out of the tour.  Spent time with my best friend Amy, which is why most think we are together, however we are not.  We just have a real odd relationship that goes back.  We may not be dating or ever will but I think we are destined to be best friends for our lifetimes.  I do things for her, like ensure she has a nice hotel room, because no friend of mine should have to stay in a motel 6.  She does things for me.  She ensures I eat healthy and workout.  Anyway back to my year my wife I caught her in bed with another man because she thought I was cheating on her with Amy, whom I said before we have a brother, sister relationship.   So I go through all the work of getting my ex wife out of my house along with her kid, whom she swore was mine, as fast as I could.  Luckily I had Amy to call through this time.”

They went back and forth with questions and when they ended Joshua and Steph traded numbers and Joshua even posed for a rare picture for her.

Joshua is seen backstage of Walter Pyramid waiting for his music to hit as it does he walks out from the back to fans that boo him.  As he makes it to the ring he wipes his feet and gets into the ring.

“Thank you to the worst state in the Union, California.  This fatal four way I have at My Bloody Valentine, which you can get for 9….  No you can pay full price because you have Sin City’s Nightmare, Joshua Acquin coming back to the ring after being out for more than three months.  Now folks my not agree what match I get when I come back but I am here to say I don’t give a fuck  what Tom, Dick, and Harry think about how I got into this match.  I am here to say it has been to damn long since I have seen this six sided ring and too long since I have kicked someone’s ass.  What would make this match better is if I didn’t have to do it here in this shithole state.  I hate people from Cali they think they are the shit.  You think you are so great you are getting another football team.  For goodness sakes it is just the Rams.  You had them once already and couldn’t hold onto them.  Anyways, this week I will gain some gold and I don’t care what type of match it is.  It could be a make them cry with your jokes match and I would win.”

Joshua paces around the ring trying to draw more heat from the crowd.

“I will face two egomaniacs in this match, but I am the biggest one out there.  I have one Mr. Steve Ramone.  My one time tag partner.  He thinks he did all the work to get the titles and that I did all the work to lose the titles.  I am sorry to say that Steve you lost the titles as I was trying to help you.  This week you will see how much better I am than you are I have been resting up and training.  You will not have you boyfriends escort you to the ring because if they do I will kick their teeth down their throats, and then beat on you and make you cry to you mom and dad but they will not come so you will have to call me your daddy after the match.”

Joshua paces around the ring.

“As for the other three I am not going to worry about you I only need to worry about Steve as he is the biggest threat out there.  Just stay out of my way, because if you don’t I am going to make you see why I am your fucking biggest nightmare.  This is my match to win.  This is going to be my only match this night as I am focused on the brass ring here.”

With that Joshua leaves the ring and goes to the back.

 Joshua is seen in the backstage area after he was burtaily attacked before his match by the nobodies member Connor Murphy. He was assaulted by him with a tow chain. The doctor is looking him over as a staff member is walking in to check on Joshua.

“Mark they have taken it to far. I am going to ensure that they will pay for this at Summer Xxxtreme. I want Tim in a match. I want to snap his neck. I could care less if he is a third generation wrestler. I am going to welcome him into the business with a beating to make a point. Let him bring his nobodies. I have to catch a flight back to Vegas I will see you on the ship.”

Joshua and Mark shake hands as Mark leaves as Joshua is heading the other way to grab his bags.

Joshua is in his office wearing a suit and tie going over the contract that was sent to him from SCW Headquarters. Joshua hands the paperwork to his lawyer and his lawyer starts to read it over.

“Joshua this contract states that you will have the match on the ship and that SCW will ensure that none of the people wrestling will be near the edge of the ship as long as they stay in the ring area.”

Joshua rubs his chin as he thinks.

“Does it say about if the wrestlers happen to be attacked before the match, say in the backstage area could the fall off the ship?”
Joshua’s lawyer shakes his head.

“Mr. Acquin I will have to warn you that if that happens given the history between you and Tim they will finger you as the one who has done that.”

“I would never do that; I want him in that ring. I want him to bleed in the ring.”
The meeting continues till Joshua signs the contract and sends it back to HQ.

Brisbane, Australia - Sun Princess Cruise Liner port

Joshua is with his wife, son, and his two siblings walking on the dock carrying his bags past a few select fans that have gotten the VIP tickets to board the ship the same night before the other fans get on the ship in the morning. This gives those fans the best chance to run into their favorite wrestlers. Joshua is sporting shorts and a SCW t-shirt. He is stopped by fans who want to take pictures with him and his brother and sister. A few fans want Joshua to put them in a headlock as they have their friends laugh and take the picture. Even a couple of brave souls have Joshua set them up in his finishers, the Nightmare and Second Nightmare. Joshua talks to a few of the fans surprising some that Joshua is being so friendly toward them. There were some fans that were being assholes to Joshua and security comes out to take care of them as Joshua continues on with his family. Joshua walks up the ramp onto the ship with his family in tow.

Joshua is seen having dinner in the main galley area of the ship along with the VIPs and other wrestlers. The setup of the room is odd though keeping the wrestlers that are facing each other eating at different times and in the event that they are there at the same time they have divided the room into areas just in case. Joshua is sitting with some fans that ask him questions off the wall as what color of trunks is he going to be wearing to some questions that are more toward the sports teams he owns, getting tickets and such. From out of the corner of his eye he sees Tim come into the galley into another area so they will not interact given the history, be it very short, between them. Joshua thanks the fans for the good times as he walks out of the room keeping his eye on Tim and his Nobodies.

Nightmare plays over the PA on the ship as Joshua now wearing his wrestling gear walks slowly down to the ring as fans boo him as he gets into the ring and is on the turnbuckle holding his arms out to draw the heat from the booing crowds. Joshua waves some people from the back, from the back comes Austin and Ashlynn and they are carrying kendo sticks, they stop at the bottom of the ramp. Joshua looks down on them and smiles as he grabs the house microphone.

“Hi to all the Aussie fans of SCW. The funny thing about this match is that like in real life you people are Nobodies to the United Kingdom. You guys sing and say God save our Queen and she is like who are you guys? Maybe I should take you on a history lesson. Your country was a colony like America but the only difference was that you guys forefathers were criminals and thieves, which is why I have my siblings down there to keep me safe from your thieving people. Hell how many of you guys bought your tickets onto this ship and how many of you are stow-away hoping that we will cruise this ship north so you can get to a better locale and be like your forefathers. I mean I know we like to make fun of the Irish being part of the bigger Commonwelth but I know they are not but we have the redheaded step kid jokes but they get more love from the crown than you ever do. Hell even the Americans do as well as the Canadians.  So as you see Tim I have my family here to ensure your nobodies get near this ring.  Blood is thicker than water.  I trust my family to protect me and who says I don’t have more quote family in the back that will lay down their body for me.  I may lose this match but you know what I will ensure that this is a mere battle in the war between you and me.  This maybe my Waterloo but I will bounce back with my army facing your army.”

With that Joshua drops the mic and walks to the back.

 Joshua is laying on the floor with the trainers tending to him putting the smelling salt under his nose.  He comes to gripping for his newly won championship.  Joshua looks over at his partner laying on the ground.

"What the fuck happen?"

The trainers have a towel on Joshua's head where he was split open.  They walk him over to a chair and start to patch him up.

"Joshua do you know where you are?"

"Yes I am in a lot of pain from two other's I think one was Andrew Watts and he was saying something about the danger zone."

They finish patching him up and Joshua checks on his partner.  Just then they get word of the net stops card and Joshua is facing half of the team they just beat.  Joshua and Steven trade cocky looks and laugh about the card.

Joshua is seen in Egypt at his hotel where he has set up for the stay in Alexandria for the weekend.  He has his championship belt on the table as the trainers are checking on the cut they stitched up at the last Climax Control.  They see everything is healing fine and let him know they are giving him the green light for him to fight this weekend's show.  After the training staff leave Joshua gets onto his computer and opens up Skype and signs into his account.  Joshua sees it is 8 AM in Egypt.  Joshua places a video chat with his wife Tiffiny.  She answers it and since it is 11 PM in Las Vegas is in her nightwear.  As soon as they see each other they smile.

"Hey sweetheart sorry to wake you.  Just wanted to say hi and see if you liked your birthday present."

Tiffiny still smiling shows Joshua the necklace that she got from Joshua.

"I love it Joshua.  Thank you."

"Well John always was a good jeweler that I can trust."

Joshua scratches his head and griminess in pain as he goes over the stitched up area.

"Are you ok Joshua?"

"Yea just a little sore from this Sunday.  Got a cut on my head and just a little tender still."

Joshua grabs his championship belt and holds it so Tiffiny can see it.

"That is so great babe.  You have worked so hard to get that.  So did it happen during the match or after?"

Joshua sets down the championship.

"It happened after when we were celebrating the win.  I thought you were watching while I was out."

"I would have Joshua but I was out with my friends enjoying my birthday.  I would have rather had you home."

Joshua nods his head.

"I would have loved to be home for your birthday.  Soon I will be able to fly you out with me once Junior completes school for the year."

"Josh it is nice hearing from you but I want you home."

Joshua laughs a little.

"You know I would love to but I am enjoying this championship.  I will try to get home before the next big show.  By then Junior should be done with school and to have you guys on the road will be nice."

"I know but it is still hard not having you here.  Anyway I am going to bed so I will talk to you later this week.  Love you."

"Love you too Tiff.  Have a good night."

Joshua shuts his laptop and picks up his phone to call someone.

"Hey Amy you must be asleep or something.  I was calling to see if you wanted to do anything.  Call me back."

Joshua hangs up his cell phone and grabs his wallet as he heads out the door.

Joshua is seen outside the arena walking inside carrying his bags into the back entrance as a  young fan stops him and asks him for his autograph.

"So are you going to the show?"

"No sir my family can't afford tickets."

Joshua shakes his head.

"How many people are in your family?"

"There are six people."

"Where are they at?"

"They are at home.  I walked all the way here from my house."

"Well I can't have you walk home let me get you a cab."

Joshua hails a cab and tells him to take the child home and gives him some Egyptian Pounds and hands the child about eight hundred Egyptian Pounds.

"This is for you and your family I hope to see you at the show."

The cab drives off as the child thanks him.

Nightmare plays over the PA as Joshua wearing jeans and a SCW's Nightmare t-shirt comes out with the SCW World tag team Championship belt over his shoulder.  Fans are split over booing for him and cheering him.  As Joshua walks down to the ring he sees the child from earlier with his family and goes over to them and takes a rare picture with the family as they thank him.  After he is done with that he continues down around the ring to the announcers table to pick up a microphone and climbs the stairs and wipes his boots on the outside of the ring and enters the ring.  He goes up to the turnbuckle and climbs it and points to the title on his shoulder.  He goes to the other turnbuckles and does the same.  After which he goes to the middle and brings the microphone to his mouth.

"Man have I missed this championship. I lost it 364 days and then I regained it.  I told you all that I would.  Now there are tag teams coming out of the wood work to try and claim these belts.  I am here to tell you they can try but they all will fall to The Arrogance of Excellence.  Danger Zone, R.O.A.R., and whoever else would like to try will fall to us.  We have the gold we are the champions.  We will decide when and who to lose them to.  This whole tag team division was hurting for me to come back and save it from itself.  I mean it seemed like this title has changed hands more than it should.  This week I get to go up one on one with Dark Tiger.  I am giving this giant a foot in height difference.  People are worried that I am going to loose to him.  No, no, no.  I pinned him last week in this ring and I will ensure that the same thing happens this week.  I have worked too damn hard to fall to the man that I beat to win this title last week.  You know what they say about the bigger guys right?  The easier it is to beat them.  Of course our partners will be there in our corners and I have a feeling that my corner is a little bit stronger then his."

Joshua paces in the ring and rubs his head where the stitches were.

"Now as far as this Danger Zone team.  Good job you got us when we had our backs turned.  You just proved to us that you are too scared to face us and do it to our face, well try to at least.  After this match I have this week maybe I should come down and watch your match against Raab and show you this title close up and off the side of your head."

Joshua stops and thinks about something.

"Now people know I am friends with Amy Marshall and they call me and text me about what is going on with her.  You know something I am her friend and I may or may not know what is going on in her head.  If you really want to know ask her.  I did and I got what I wanted from her.  Think about this her close friend is hold a title and day in and day out it seems like it is rubbed in your face.  That is enough to get the blood boiling and as she said it isn't personal it's business.  Do I think she will hold the Bombshell Internet Championship?  Yea she will.  But if you want more put on your big boy pants and ask her yourself.  What's the worse that could happen, punched in the face?  Enough about that.  This week I will beat Dark Tiger and send R.O.A.R. away to the end of the line.  Why do I say that because I am one half of The Arrogance of Excellence and we will win"

Joshua drops the microphne and hold up his title as Nightmare plays through the arena.

 Joshua is seen backstage after losing the match in Belfast.  All of a sudden an interviewer comes into the shot behind Joshua. “Mr. Acquin do you have some time I have a couple questions to ask you.”  Joshua looks at them angrily. “You have the balls to ask me questions after I took a loss?”  The interviewer gulps and continues on, “Mr Acquin you teamed with Amy Marshal and you were forced to tap out.  How does it feel to take the loss for the team and be out?”  As Joshua is getting ready to answer it Amy walks through the shot and Joshua gives chase trying to talk to her and trying to apologize all the way back to the changing room which she slams the door and locks it in Joshua’s face. Joshua turns around “She will be fine, she just needs to cool off.”

The Club, past the hive of offices, the team facilities, the glass walls of the rink side club; through the den, through the doors, through the entry, to a discreet, dark hush.  The room is oddly shaped. There are no windows. Short metallic curtains, glinting in the low light, hang from the ceiling in geometric arrangements; cocktail tables hold neat clusters of white roses. Pendant light fixtures, bronze polyhedrons with intricate cutouts, cast lacelike shadows on the gray and pale gold walls. A bar occupies one corner, with a bartender who looks a little bored. Wrangler’s Arena has 10 of these “ultra-luxurious suites,” touted by the local fans as its “most exclusive destination.”  One of these suites will cost you a little more than half a million dollars for the season, though this particular one is not for sale, it is the owner’s Joshua Acquin.
In the Vault on this night, is a woman who represents the owner’s interests. Her name is Ashlynn Acquin, Joshua’s sister. She is diminutive, but with a strikingly vibrant presence. She wears a black ribbed skirt and a black fitted jacket that frames the bright plumage of a blazing yellow shirt. Her buoyant blonde hair is burnished by the low brass light; her nails are painted jet black. Perched on a leather couch in a corner of the room, as if ready to take flight, she speaks softly but intently to a man in a gray suit; it is Austin Acquin, brother to Joshua Acquin and one of his closest allies.
It is nearly game time. Ashlynn stands up, smooths her skirt, and takes her leave. She glances at her phone, its screen crammed with texts: so-and-so needs an extra ticket, so-and-so doesn’t know where to go, so-and-so wants an escort, and can’t Ashlynn come herself? Ashlynn is CFO of Acquin Sports and Entertainment Holding and is the official conduit between the Wranglers business management, the ECHL, and Joshua Acquin. She is on the board of directors of the Wranglers and of Wranglers Arena LLC, the company that runs Wranglers Arena, and she represents the team on the league’s Board of Governors, the council of all ECHL teams’ owners, if Joshua is unable to attend. On some days, her attention is preoccupied by spreadsheets, contracts, statements, meetings, phone calls, emails. She has to think about issuing bonds for the new practice facility, or digital marketing initiatives, or how to balance Joshua’s majority interest in the Wranglers when he is on the road. This day, though, is different; tonight is the Las Vegas Wranglers special event, the Indoor Winter Classic. It is, she likes to say, a huge party, one with 15,000 guests. As it happens, one of them is the son and wife of the owner of the Vault. Joshua Jr and Tiffiny Acquin are in the house. They have shown up due to Joshua being on the road in England and Scandinavia to watch the Las Vegas Wranglers, along with 15 or so guests — advisers, associates, and friends. They are somewhere in the arena at that moment, making their presence felt.
Ashlynn strides out of the suite, plunging into the rush of the crowd. She walks fast, the red soles of her black Louboutin stilettos flashing. Everywhere there is the sharp air of anticipation, the distant thump of music, the buzz of voices, some close, some directed at her. Ashlynn! Her attention is given freely — to security guards, colleagues, gawking fans; to people speaking Russian, English, and other languages. She has a voice that can travel far, a smile that can travel farther. A few people she passes require something a little extra — a soft touch of the forearm kisses on the cheeks, a little melody in her lilting voice. Even then, she only seems to stop — in reality, she barely slows. This is her charm, this is what people usually first mention when they talk about her — her extraordinary, almost genius ability for making people feel the full force of her attention. “Some people have this talent: They can talk to you for 30 seconds and then disappear, but still make you feel really good,” says her friend. “She has that.”
She would make a perfect hostess. It seems almost cruel to say so; she is one of the top executives of the Las Vegas Wranglers, one of the highest-ranking women in all of professional sports; she is entrusted with the authority of one of the United States more powerful men. She is hardly a woman who just throws parties. Were she a man, it would be hard to imagine her fielding texts asking her to escort rich businessmen from the gift shop to their seats. But there it is; one cannot help but feel it. And one senses that if she could, she would buy the flowers herself. She has never hidden the fact that she is a woman. She seems to embrace it. She uses her smile; she banters; she dresses to flatter her figure. She has experienced, of course, sneering comments and quick dismissals, and she knows that the golf course can turn business into a boys’ club. But she claims her gender isn’t a disadvantage — not even in the boardroom. “Actually, I find that when there are few women in the room with men, they actually listen to what you have to say,” she says. “Because it’s kind of more unusual, and I am never shy about voicing my opinions when I have them.”  Besides, it is impossible to watch her command the hall at the arena and not see that while this may be like a party, a night of wine and small talk and even sports, this is really business.  She makes it to a secluded room to where on the screen is Joshua Acquin. “Hey Ash how’s it going there, sorry I have to miss this game I have enjoyed going to the game every year.  But this week I have a major match so I am glad I can entrust you with the running of the team.  By the way I have picked you up some gifts on my trip like you have asked.  Anyway what was the major news you had to tell me.”  Ashlynn looks around the room seeing her other brother, sister-in-law, and nephew sitting in the room waiting.  “Joshua the big news is that next season you have been invited to play in the AHL in a new division the AHL is opening by moving teams from the east and a couple teams in the west.  It is so teams on the west are not sending players across country, a cost saving move.  Now right now we are not affiliated with any NHL team but if we make the move we have the option of four teams.  The four AHL teams they gave you the option is Lake Erie Monsters, Utica Comets, St. John’s Ice Caps, or the Portland Pirates.  They have already moved five other ones and you would be the sixth team.  Don’t worry whichever one you pick will get a replacement team.  But they have given a deadline of 1 March to answer them.” Joshua can be seen thinking about the major news and choice he has to make.  “ I think that we will need to have a board meeting and depending on my schedule after Sunday I may be able to fly back during the week but there may be the possibility of another VTC like this.”  As the scene fades out he can be seen talking to everyone as the door closes

Before Joshua goes outside to his car he is stopped by a random backstage interviewer asking for an interview to which Joshua agrees.
“Welcome to Oslo Norway SCW fans.  We now have started our second leg in this world tour.  With me at this time is one competitor for the SCW Roulette championship match, Joshua Acquin.”  Joshua steps into the shot.  “Joshua first thing first how is Amy doing?”  “Well Amy is doing alright we had a talk about what happen in Belfast while we were supporting SCW in Whales and of course we were both upset over the issue but in the long run we are still friends.  Even though she doesn’t have a match this week she will be cheering me on and will be the first one to get in the ring and hand me my championship.”  “Do you think you will win the championship this time?”  Joshua chuckles to himself.  “What kind of question is that, of course I will win the championship I am going to leave this cold fucking city with a championship around my waist.  If you think I am going to let this slip through my hands again you are sadly mistaken.”  The interviewer holds their ear like they are receiving a question.  “Joshua this week Las Vegas lost a person that was well known in the city of Las Vegas, of course I am talking about Jerry Tarkanian.  Did you have anything to say about him?”  Joshua talks a moment to think about it.  “The things I could say are numerous about this great man.  He gave the city it first team that drew everyone’s attention with a college team.  Let that sink in and he didn’t do it with top recruits.  No he took the B players and players that may have had issues.  To me that is a man that took little things and made them great.  In my resort I own I will sometimes take people that no one want to hire and I hire them now sometimes I hit gold and sometimes I strike out but at least I give them a chance.  Now I am going to give The Tarkanian Basketball Academy 500 thousand dollars to make improvements.  Also I am opening my resort to any family member that needs a place to stay through this tough time.  Now people may think that I am crazy for doing this but I think he was a sports pioneer in Las Vegas.”  The interview nods.  That is a great jester.  Now you have not seen your wife and son in a little over a month.  Being a newlywed how do you cope with this?”  “Well thanks to technology I can Skype my wife and son every day.  Plus after I am done here I am going to pick them up so they can be here when I win the championship and also so I can take my son around to learn about the Vikings at the museum here.  I mean this is the place to learn about them right?  Nothing but the best for my friends and family.”  With that Joshua takes his leave and walks out the side door to his waiting car.

Nightmare plays over the PA system as Joshua waits till the lyric Nightmareeeeeee hits, he then walks out onto the ramp wearing his trunks and a T-shirt that reads SCW’s Nightmare.  As he slowly makes his way the ramp he walks around the ring walking past the broadcast team and grabs a microphone that is laying on the table for him.  He climbs up the stairs and wipes his boots before he goes though the ropes.  He walks to the center of the ring.

“Now for those of you in Oslo that don’t know me I am Joshua Acquin a one-time SCW tag team champion.  It has been too long since I have tasted any gold here in SCW and my latest try to win anything here as far as a tournament fall flat on its face.  Now I am not going to blame Amy for what happen.  She wrestled her little heart out and I was the one that let them team down.  I mean we had the best pick of the tournament in her and I.  But now I have been chosen to main event here in Oslo.  Not only that it is for the SCW roulette Championship.  I have tried to get this before and was out classed by one of my opponents for this match.  But that will not happen again as I have learned from the last time I have faced him.  I went into that match under prepared to fight.  But as always I took something from that match.  Hell I am ready for anything if I can work in a pudding match I think I can fight in a three-way random match.  The champ is a one Alex Kaelin.  He won it in the fore mentioned tournament to the other person in this match.  That person is none other than Sephiroth Du Lac, whom had to go to a dirty trick of spraying red mist in my eyes while the ref was turned to worry about a little blood on me.  This time I am going to ensure he will not get that in on me, the champ had better worry about not even being the one I pin in order to win the championship from him.  Maybe I could even just wait outside the ring and wait till it is the right time to jump into the match.  Take the ultimate opportunity to win the championship.  Now will I win?  As much as you guys hate me you know that I am right when I say here in Oslo I will walk down this ramp here a contender and walk out and up that ramp a champion.  I will put money on that.”

Joshua drops the microphone and raises his arms in the middle of the ring and takes in all the boos from the crowd as they are showing him all there hate.  As he walks to the back he stops at one particular family and gives them a hug and kisses, he even grabs the boy and brings him over the railing.

“Now if I wasn’t a confident person in my abilities to get this championship would I fly my wife and son over here to Oslo to watch me win.  Before you freak out and say Joshua he is supposed to be in school, don’t worry he is home schooled and still better than any of your kids.  I mean come on he came from me and I am pretty damn good myself.”
