The Tsunami Thrillride | Chapter Two - We Can Work It Out

Things changed after Keith went away. My mom’s whole attitude changed. The last time they split up she was empowered. She went to school, got her degree, she really made efforts to change her life. Well, change most of her life anyway. She still went running back to Keith when he called. I think this time she felt almost defeated. She wasn’t bubbly anymore; she was deflated. She didn’t work for a while, instead opting to just lay around and cry. This was not popular with my grandparents at all, especially Grandma. I can remember hearing them scream at each other, over and over. My mom, Jesus bless her, felt like her innocence was robbed from her. Like a traveling salesman had come in and sold her gold painted coal. She felt like her life was ruined because of scumbag Keith. Now, I’m glad I wasn’t old enough to process this shit because if I could I probably would’ve hated the bitch for saying I was the root of all her misery. Truth is, the only time my mom ever smiled in those days was when we were together. Every Wednesday we would go to the park and just play. Sunshine, rain, or snow we were at that park. Those were the only days my mom showed life. Keith had that effect on a lot of people back then.

Not long after we moved back in, Grandpa John bit the big one. The old son of a bitch was playing the best golf game of his life and stroked out on the eighteenth hole when he missed a birdie putt. True story. Grandma took it really hard and that’s when things got really fucked up. You see, with all my mom’s bullshit, my Grandma was the one that took care of me. When John died...well shit changed. My Grandma got so fed up with my mom and her depression that she threw us out. Looking back on that it was probably more about her not knowing how to cope with loss but boy she took all that rage and sadness and funneled it all at Peggy Lane. My mom, with no money and no job, had nowhere to go. We ended up shacking up with my Uncle Jack. Uncle Jack is a chill cat. He was living in downtown Ann Arbor at the time in a small two bedroom apartment and smoked a shit ton of weed. And when I say a shit ton I mean literally a fucking ton. I don’t think he was sober the entire Clinton Administration. We moved into his spare bedroom, which was really his weed room. I can't say for sure but I’m pretty sure he was selling weed to University of Michigan kids. I would routinely have to go play in the kitchen when his “friends” would come over so he could use our room for whatever shady shit he was doing in there. Our stint at Uncle Jack’s didn’t last very long. Being out of Grandma’s meant my mom needed to work. She started bartending at this local shit bar in Ann Arbor. To this day she tells me how much she fucking hated that place but she got tipped well and she was able to get a small studio in the building across the street from Uncle Jack’s. I loved that apartment. It was like a giant living room with a bright blue carpet that I would pretend was the ocean. I would sit on the couch with my Fisher-Price fishing rod and fish for sharks and octopuses and god knows what else. Since my mom worked nights, we would play all the time during the day. When she worked, Uncle Jack would come over and hang with me. He would teach me about women, the Beatles, abstract art, punk rock, and of course...marijuana. He had a book that would identify all these different types of bud and he would show me his greens and then we would take turns finding and identifying it with the pictures in the book. Of course my mom would’ve fucking killed him if she knew, but I fucking loved Uncle Jack back then, and still do to this day. It was one of the best times of my childhood. Everything was great, great until that piece of shit Rod Foley came back around.

Rod was Keith’s best friend for a long time before Peggy came into the picture. When they got busted for their cocaine operation, my pops got the raw end of the deal. He was sentenced to five years and was sent to some prison in Omaha. Rod, that fucking prick, got two years and he was out in fifteen months. Of course, for all the fucking places in Michigan for him to end up, he lands right in fucking Ann Arbor. Now I’m not sure of the whole story, as my mom won’t tell me all of the details, but what I’ve collected from various sources is that Rod happened to walk into that dive bar that my mom was working in randomly one night. They ended up talking, probably about Keith, and that’s how it started. It was an innocent friendship at first from what Peggy tells me but by the end of 1999 they were dating. I swear my mom never learned from her mistakes back then. Rod for the most part wasn’t breaking the law at this time of his life. He was working as a driver for a tow truck company in Chelsea and actually making some decent coin. He seemed like he turned his life around so my mom thought it would be a great idea to move in with him, despite everyone else in her life telling her it was a bad fucking move. Rod didn’t like kids very much and he didn't like Keith very much either anymore which means he really fucking hated me. Believe me, I gave him plenty reasons to hate me too. Right before we moved in with him, my Uncle Jack sat me down and clued me, as much as you could a six year old anyway, about how much of a mega piece of shit this dude was. I found out years later why Jack really hated him, but that’s a story for a different day. Jack to me at that time in my life was the coolest fucking dude in the world so if he sad Rod was bad news, I believed him. I gave Rod so much shit that it’s really a surprise looking back that he didn't kill me. I would routinely let the air out of his tires on his tow truck, throw his shit in the garbage, tell him off, and hide his beer. What really set him off, and my mom too, was when I opened his driver’s side door and pissed all over his front seat. I waited outside on the porch of our small house and watched him jump into his truck and waited for the expression on his face when he realized he just jumped into a pile of piss. It was one of my greatest triumphs as a young kid. It was also the first time Rod beat the shit out of me. I didn’t tell my mom it was him. I told her I got beat up by some older kids walking home from school. I didn’t want to give him the satisfaction. This went on for months.

It was right around this time that I started the first grade. Primrose Elementary School was just two miles from where we were living at the time. It was an old brick building with a huge playground and field behind it. School was always difficult for me. Not because I couldn’t learn or follow along, but just because I couldn’t give a fuck at all. I had no real adult presence at home. My mom was working almost every night so I’d either spend my nights getting the shit kicked out of me by Rod or hanging with Uncle Jack in Ann Arbor. Looking back I feel like my mom knew what was going on with me and Rod and just couldn’t admit it to herself, which is why half the week I lived with Jack. That was ok with me because Jack’s apartment was like a revolving door of some of the most interesting people I had ever seen. There frat guys, sorority girls, punk rockers, gothic dudes, all sorts of mother fuckers. Jack was known around Ann Arbor and Lo-Jack...because if you needed something, he could find it. He was the most popular guy in the town that wasn’t on the Michigan football team and he was the best uncle I could’ve ask for at that time in my life. On my 7th birthday in 2000, I spent it with Jack and Grandma Louise. My mom was off somewhere with Rod and my Dad was...you know...in prison. For all the shit my pops did, and maybe I couldn’t process it all back then, but even being in prison, he was the better parent in my head. He’d write me all the time, telling me all the details and inner workings of jail. To a seven yea old that was cool as shit. That’s about the time that I decided I wanted to live with him when he got out. I knew that it wasn’t going to be easy to convince my mom so I started acting out as much as I could. I figured if I could piss her off enough she would have no choice but to let me go. What I didn’t think about was Rod.

Looking for all the hot gossip behind the scenes of Sin City Wrestling? Look no further!

OOC DISCLAIMER: The opinions in this article are for fun and entertainment purposes only. They are not real opinions but that of fictional character Kenny Chisholm. And PS- Some of this stuff is blatantly made up.

Power Hungry
Word coming out of Climax Control last week was that the trio of Ringo, Di Luca, and J2H, now known as Power Play, are looking to continue their path of destructiveness. Whispers were of them possibly targeting more people in the coming weeks, specifically of a once great institution. What this means is anyone’s guess. J2H has been quiet on twitter and while Di Luca continues to tweet openly about his level of self-appreciation, Ringo’s tweets have been more cryptic and vague. More on this as it plays out.

Turning 100…
Climax Control 100 is upon us and the bosses have spared no expense. Two title matches, including a rematch between Heavyweight Champion Sean Jackson and Drake Green, and two Over-The-Top Battle Royals filled with returning stars. Names like Ben Jordan, Amanda Cortez, Liz Small, and even ‘Primetime’ Matthew Kennedy are on the billing and it looks like this is shaping up to be one of the best Climax Controls of the year. No word yet if there are any surprise names coming in but Spike Staggs, who was originally advertised for the event, has been pulled from any promotional material.

Not Playing Around…
The Players Club was in full force on Sunday night, and despite Hydro falling to Andrew Watts (no one can hold that against him) the trio looked great. Anyone who can stand toe to toe with the Sins is surely guaranteed to impress. The sky is the limit for these newcomers and only time will tell what the ceiling will be.

Daaaayyyummm…
Speaking of newcomers, the beautiful Mikah made her debut by dominating Bombshell veteran Cynthia Warren. Out of all the debuts this past Sunday, this one may have impressed me the most and not because she’s effing gorgeous. The sky is truly the limit for the star as the SCW bosses continue evolving the landscape of the Bombshell division.

He is coming?
An interested promo aired in the middle of Climax Control Sunday night proclaiming that ‘HE’ is coming and no one is safe. Something to keep an eye on for sure.

The Franchise?
It’s official. Paramount released a press statement Monday announcing that Drake Green will star in their new action franchise “Jack Hammer” about a private investigator who plays loose with the law. Word is that the show will be loosely based on the ‘Mike Hammer’ character that was created by author Mickey Spillane and adapted into a television show starring Stacey Keach in the 1980’s. How this will effect Green’s SCW touring schedule is yet to be determined.

Where the best are born!
Mark Ward and the returning JJ Dixon made a HUGE announcement on Sunday, revealing the brand new Arizona State Wrestling, a developmental territory for the ever-growing SCW. I am pleased to announce that as of this morning, I have inked a deal to return to play-by-play commentary for the brand new organization. Ward and company are clearly sparing no expense in making this successful. Also signed on for backstage reporting is former SCW Bombshell, the lovely Emma Rose. With this particular development, rumors are starting to swirl about a certain “Cockney King” returning to television.

ASW: What We Know So Far
Not much. The site will launch later this week (reportedly Thanksgiving Day at some point) and that should shed some more light. What we do know…

1.       This is a separate fed and ASW stars will not be featured on SCW television.
2.       They will adopt most of SCW’s rules and regulations, specifically the six-sided ring.
3.       There will be a separate Men’s and Women’s division.

More to come as I keep digging…

STOCK WATCH

UP

Andrew Watts
Many expected Andrew Watts to make a splash in his debut and he didn’t disappoint. SCW Creative is high on Watts so we will no doubt see his television time increase as we approach the end of 2014.

The Metal and Punk Connection
Two-time Champs they are and decisively so. I’m looking forward to seeing these two in action again and kudos to Amy Marshall for reclaiming the gold in her first match back.

Power Play
In particular JN Ringo. Not many people can go toe-to-toe with one of SCW’s bosses and not look outclassed. He is a far cry from the arrogant but immature Jimmy Ringo we knew a year ago.

DOWN

The Mean Girls
Sure Delia is still the undefeated Bombshell Champion and Mercedes Vargas is still the Bombshell Roulette Champion but after losing Liz Smalls and then Veronica Taylor losing the other half of the Bombshell Tag Team titles (and getting injured in the process) cracks are finally showing.

Orchid
Since exploding on to the scene as one of the top Bombshell teams last year, Orchid seems to have fallen a bit. With all the talent in the world, it’s only a matter of time before she turns things around.

Cindy Warren
‘The Nurse” continues to disappoint and it’s only a matter of time until the bosses cut their losses with this Bombshell.

New Blood Rising?
Word is that the 99th edition of Climax Control will feature heavily on the plethora of signings the SCW Front Office has announced over the past few weeks. It’s a safe bet we will see the official debuts of the Players Club plus others. Speaking of ‘others’, there is word of a new force forming in the SCW locker room and it has Erik Staggs and company quickly second guessing if they made the right personnel moves in recent weeks. Mark Ward however, is on holiday drinking booze and having the time of his life. All hail Hot Stuff.

Bundle of Oops?
Rumors are swirling that Vixen Staggs may not be the only pregnant member of the Bombshell roster. A janitor found several pregnancy tests in the garbage of the Bombshell’s locker room in Michie Stadium the day after High Stakes IV and they were all marked positive. Could we be losing one more Bombshell due to maternity leave? And by the way…what kind of sick man pulls pregnancy tests out of a garbage can and checks to see the results? Weird…

Tag…You’re It!
After months of floundering, the SCW Tag Team divisions, both Men and Bombshells, seem as if they are about to get a boost. Road agents were buzzing at the Front Office monthly meetings about the new depth that has been added to both divisions. Kudos to the bosses for recognizing the hole on their rosters and making personnel decisions to get the Tag Team divisions back on track. The word is that not only will new signings be boosting the ranks but also a returning team or two will also make their presence felt.

Player Recruiting?
The three members of the Player’s Club, Caleb Houston, JT Midas and Hydro, made their debut in shocking fashion at Michie Stadium last Sunday night during High Stakes IV. Rumor is that they are looking to add to their ranks with some new, fresh faces. Could this be that they are gearing up for a battle with a certain ‘Power’-ful stable? The twitter shots have been fired and JT and Caleb made it known they were asking for a fight but Mr. JN Ringo was vague in his response. Could we be seeing the beginnings of a new rivalry and what could most certainly lead to some entertaining matches? Only time will tell.

Main Event Maker Making Another Movie?
The rumors is after the wildly successful summer blockbuster ‘Gunplay’, studio executives have tapped SCW’s resident Showstopper Drake Green to star in a new action franchise. What this could do to Green’s status in SCW is unclear as it is not known how much time he would miss, if any, if the deal gets done. When contacted, Green’s agent Barry Goldstein was quoted using obscenities to describe how the size of his manhood is taking part in the negotiations and that it would have a direct effect on how much the studio would offer his client.

100 Returns…
Climax Control 100 is just around the corner and already the rumor winds are blowing about who will be showing up. Names like Nick Jones, Liz Smalls, Simon Jones, Lucian Frost, and a member of the Staggs family have all been thrown around. Spike Staggs was originally advertise for the show but his name and likeness have since been pulled from poster and graphics advertising the event. There were talks of having another former Roulette champion return as well but what I’m hearing now is that might not be the case.

JJ Dixon Arrested?
It appears as though former ACW owner and SCW personality JJ Dixon is not dead as previously rumored. He was arrested last week in Vienna, Austria on charges of drug possession and prostitution solicitation. It has been a might fall from grace for a man who was once credited as the driving force behind the independent wrestling scene in Canada. From his days as a backstage reporter at Acadian Wrestling to his well-documented gambling addiction, Dixon has always been a polarizing figure in the wrestling world. Credited with discovering talents like Ben Jordan and Drake Green, Dixon had his hands in changing the pro-wrestling landscape forever.

Champion of the World?
With SCW’s world tour on the horizon, the IWC has been running wild with speculation that SCW might rebrand their titles as World titles. Although still considered a regional, independent federation, SCW has gained momentum and a giant fan base over the past two years. They’ve already been to Japan, Africa, and South America and with them now traveling to Europe, it’s not out of the realm to start recognizing a World Champion in both the Men’s and Bombshell’s divisions.

NXT Still Kicking…
When Jon Dough cut a promo a few weeks ago banding with his NXT brothers and sisters, many thought he was off his rocker since Spike Staggs had disbanded the iconic group weeks ago. He was again representing the group last Sunday at High Stakes IV and now rumors are starting to circulate that this may not be a mistake. Dough had incredible momentum this time last year before a couple of short tag team title reigns. It’s not out of the realm for Dough to take the reins of the baddest stable in SCW history and keep the NXT name alive.

STOCK WATCH

UP

Bosom Buddies
Despayre and Big B are in the middle of a historic tag team title run, one that is beginning to rival Despayre’s other historic run with Gabriel as ‘Sinful Obsession’. As they continue to vanquish all challengers, one has to wonder how long this reign may end up being.

Equinox
Despite losing his title at High Stakes IV, Equinox has moved up the big board in a big way. After earning the honors of being the longest reigning Roulette Champion, it took two challengers and a double cross to get the belt off of him. If we don’t see him regain his title Roulette soon, I would look to him moving on to bigger and better things.

Necra Octavian Kane
Another competitor who failed to notch a ‘W’ at High Stakes IV has also been rumored to be loved by the bosses. It’s not hard to see why. Kane is a relentless competitor who shows up every week for work and never complains. We can use some more like her!

Traci Patterson
The sister from Texas opened up High Stakes IV with a bang in a decisive victory over Angelia Corazon. What’s next on the horizon for the former Tag Team Champion? Apparently something big.

DOWN

Drake Green
Green not only lost his title last Sunday, he also lost to Sean Jackson for the second time in 2014. If he fails to regain the title in his contracted rematch, we may not see him in the Heavyweight title scene for quite some time.

Cindy Warren
Many expected Warren to  be a great replacement for Amy Marshall as Jessie Salco looked to regain Tag Team gold at High Stakes IV. Unfortunately, Warren was not able to capitalize on her opportunity and who knows when we will see her in the title scene again.

Gabriel
After coming out on top of one of the hottest feuds of the year with Steve Ramone, Gabriel has been left behind to slowly slip down the card. So much so that he was completely left off the billing for biggest show of the fall. Something needs to be injected into the former Heavyweight Champion as his talent shouldn’t be wasted for much longer.

Looking for all the hot gossip behind the scenes of Sin City Wrestling? Look no further!

OOC DISCLAIMER: The opinions of this article are for fun and entertainment purposes only. They are not real opinions but that of fictional character Kenny Chisholm. And PS- Some of this stuff is blatantly made up.

A Dark New Day
The un-thinkable has happened. Sean Jackson is now at the top of the heap in Sin City Wrestling and now the sky is the limit for one thing…ratings. According to Neilsen, SCW’s last three Climax Control’s have been the most watched of 2014 and with the heralded success of last Sunday’s ‘High Stakes IV’, SCW brass is looking at its most profitable quarter ever and there is a growing sentiment that the ‘Mental Rapist’ is a big drivin force behind the recent his success. I wouldn’t be surprised if we start seeing even more of Jackson on television, as if that were even possible.

A Former Champion’s Homecoming?
Rumors were flying that former two-time SCW Heavyweight Champion Simon Jones is in talks with SCW brass for at least an appearance at the Birmingham show in January to help kick off the 2015 World Tour. It would be nice to see Jones back in a Sin City ring, even it were a one night only type of deal. Simon is a class act and was hugely popular when he decided to call it quits and walk away and spend time with his family. He left a giant hole on the card and in the hearts of all of us fans. Plus…he’s English…so it would make sense.

A New Storm is Brewing
The Player’s Club made their intentions known at High Stakes IV and they were dirty intentions indeed. All three of these guys look dangerous and extremely focused on their goals. On top of their explosive debut, the three men known as Hydro, Caleb Houston, and JT Midas have been overly active on Twitter trying to make their presence known and felt. I for one and am looking forward to how much more chaos and havoc these three compadres can cause as we near the end of what has been an outstanding year of SCW television.

100 and Strong
As hard as it is to believe, we are approaching the 100th edition of Sin City Wrestling’s Climax Control. Word coming out SCW headquarters is that the bosses have some special segments planned and even a few special attraction matches. I would expect to see at least one returning familiar face as former Heavyweight Champion Spike Staggs has been advertised to appear. It has been a crazy ride for Sin City Wrestling and what better way to celebrate 100 episodes than a salute to the great talents that have helped build SCW legacy.

Melancholy Misty?
Former three-time SCW Bombshell Champion was noticeably distraught after her match with current Champion Delia Darling this past Sunday at High Stakes IV. She had put nearly four months of effort into dethroning Delia and her best efforts unfortunately came up short, despite an impressive display of why she is all-time talent. Rumors were swirling that her current deal with SCW is coming up and she was considering not renewing as now that she has fallen short of her big goal that she’s not sure which direction she would like to go in and is feeling like she may need a break.

Stronger Than Ever
Speaking of Delia, many assumed that the loss of the ever-hated Liz Smalls had signaled the unwinding and demise of the much maligned female stable the Mean Girls. But with three successful title defenses (even with a tag title defense with a new partner who despises Veronica Taylor) Delia, Mercedes Vargas, and Taylor are still firmly placed at the top of the Bombshell mountain and there is seemingly no end in sight to their reign of posh and overused catch phrases.

Angry Man of The People?
Drake Green was irate Sunday night after his loss to Sean Jackson at High Stakes IV in West Point, NY. He walked out on a press conference after the event and was seen in a verbal shouting match with head of SCW’s Talent Relations department, Erik Staggs. The word is that Green was trying to enforce his rematch clause for the Heavyweight Title for the very next episode of Climax Control but SCW brass was hesitant in granting the wish. Rumors are that they are looking toward other contenders or at the very least, saving the rematch for the 100th episode of Climax Control.

The Quiet Guy In The Corner of the Room
Who is Matheson? That’s it…that’s all I got.

Why Gi, Why?
Giani Di Luca shocked us all when he turned on Equinox during the Roulette title match on Sunday, costing him the title. However, after the initial shock wore off, the shame is on us for falling for it. Despite a short run as a babyface Heavyweight Champion, Giani has been known for his evil trickery. He turned on Spike Staggs and NXT and lest we forget, had a long successful Tag Team Championship reign with none other than…J2H! We’re all idiots for falling for this one and now the joke is on the rest of us. Di Luca now makes J2H and the very hate-able J N Ringo legit and now we have a very scary trio of Stars that seem unified and intent on doing something. What that something is…hopefully we’ll find out soon enough. Btw…who is the Roulette Champion?

From Fan Girl to Fan-tastic
One last great story coming out of High Stakes IV is the emergence of Bombshell Melody Grace. The one time fan-girl is now a legitimate Star and contender in the Bombshell division. She looks completely comfortable in the spotlight and has the crowd hanging on every word she says. Word is that SCW brass is extremely excited about the prospect of Grace being on the 2015 World Tour and they see great things on the horizon for her.

STOCK WATCH

UP

”Blaque Hart” Bruce Evans
Bruce Evans has arrived. After wallowing in toward the bottom of the card since his return, Evans has now made his mark. After an explosive and powerful victory over Horace Jackson, Evans seems primed for run at some Gold.

Mercedes Vargas
Mercy has again vanquished her competition. If my calculations are correct, our current Bombshell Roulette Champion has the best win/loss record in SCW over the past year by anyone not named Delia Darling. Kudos…

Sean Jackson
When you win the SCW Heavyweight Championship, and pin Drake Green to do it, your stock can only go up. The biggest question is whether or not Jackson can sustain his current level of success. Only time will tell.

Melody Grace
Melody is on fire and the crowd is firmly behind her. It’s been reported that SCW brass feels that they have their next big star on their hands.

DOWN

Chris Shipman
Not only did he lose his namesake match to Steve Ramone in a surprising upset, but he also got beaten down by all three member of the Player’s Club afterwards.

Gene Banton Jr
Once tapped as the next big star, Gene has been rather quiet as of late. Being left off the card of High Stakes IV is surely a sign that he may not be entering the Main Event scene again

Misty
After being unable to tackle Delia Darling’s undefeated streak and her Bombshell Championship, The former ‘Queen of the Damned’ seems to be a bit down and out. Hopefully she can power through and not get lost in the shuffle.

Crystal Hilton
Where did she go?

Looking for all the latest and juicy SCW Rumors? Look no further!!!

OOC Disclaimer: Some of this stuff is blatantly made up.

Bye Bye Baby?
By all accounts one half of the SCW Bombshell Tag Team Champions and resident Las Vegas Cover Girl Liz Smalls has called it quits, at least for now. No word on how this will effect everyone’s favorite stable, the Mean Girls. Word at the SCW Headquarters in Las Vegas is that they are not happy about Smalls leaving her partner high and dry and will look to rectify the situation in short order. Don’t worry Veronica…I hear Jessie Salco is looking for a new partner.

English Muffins
Word on the street is that former ACW Triple Crown winner and SCW Superstar Ben Jordan has officially hung up his boots for good. With multitudes of time on his hands and an excess of money, rumors are swirling about the ‘The Cockney King’ opening a gourmet bakery in London’s hip Dalston neighborhood. Word is a longtime friend of Jordan has perfected a recipe for beer tasting pastries. Mmmmm….

Mental Rap-sheet
Buzz coming out of St. Louis this week was that after this weekend’s edition of Climax Control, military police officials were trying to take Sean Jackson into custody for apparently putting his hands on a member of the U.S. Armed Forces. A statement released by the Law Office of Marshall Owens stated that although The Military Police had inquired about detaining Mr. Jackson in St. Louis, the matter was quickly resolved and all parties are now satisfied.

Sleeping To The Top?
There are several reports that the new Number One and a Half Contender Traci Patterson for the Bombshell Championship has a top SCW executive on her side. This is unnamed executive has been pushing for the Texas native to get her moment to shine and apparently it finally worked. Rumors are swirling that Ms. Patterson may have been giving the unidentified “extra” reasons to help her career. Calls to Ms. Patterson’s representatives were not immediately returned.

Getting Serious?
SCW Heavyweight Champion Drake Green and former 3-time Bombshell Champion Misty Waters have been seen providing heavy doses of PDA in recent weeks. One member of the St. Louis amateur paparazzi club sneaked a photo of Mr. Showtime and his special someone and a high end local jeweler. Could something more permanent be coming? Hmm…

Golden Nugget
Gene Banton Jr. made his in-ring return to SCW’s Climax Control on this past week’s edition of the weekly wrestling show. There are rumors that Banton, despite his incredible arrogance and condescending nature, is seen as the future of the company. With current this past year involving the release and retirement of several of the business’ top stars, SCW brass is looking for someone they can hang their hat on John Cena style…

Kidd-ing Around
Ryan Kidd missed his flight to St. Louis last week, forcing show developers into re-write mode as they up and coming star was apparently going to be at least a small focal point of the show. Word is SCW brass is high on Kidd and thus will not be punishing the Los Angeles native. Word is, like Banton, the powers-that-be are high on Kidd and are hoping for big things from him as SCW turns the corner into their fourth year.

Twitter Frenzy
Word coming out of SCW’s Las Vegas headquarters is that the Social Media Director was told to get his ass in gear or get it out the door. After weeks of mostly silence, the @SCWrestling1 handle is on overload. I wonder who this guy is anyway, you would think he would mention the Hotwire every once in a while…

No Returns Policy
According to at least two SCW Insiders, a former SCW Superstar was denied a new deal. No word as to who this was but I’d love to find out…if only to gossip about it.

Speaking Of…
SCW Head of Talent Relations Erik Staggs has been busy. Over the last two weeks we’ve seen a multitude of returning stars like Gothika, Raynin, Jimmy Ringo, Cindy Warren, and of course Misty. But sources are telling me that Staggs isn’t stopping there. According to recent reports, several new returning deals have been signed…particularly of the Roulette kind. Make sure you keep tuning in to Climax Control, SCWrestling.net and of course the Hotwire!

Interested in what's going on backstage at SCW? Look no further!

No Pain, No Gain…
Newly Crowned Unified Heavyweight Champion Simon Jones has been rumored to be wrestling hurt these past few months. It would be no surprise considering the brutal matches he’s been apart since the latter part of last year. Either way the Birmingham native is still on a roll, not recording anything in the ‘Loss Column’ since calendar year 2013.

Faker?
Has anyone noticed that the former SCW and ACW Champion Drake Green’s twitter status went from ‘Retired Pro Wrestler’ to ‘Injured Pro Wrestler’. Interesting development considering he just told us all he’d never wrestle again. Hmmm…

New Gold Discovered?
A few months ago I reported about the possibility of SCW adding new titles but as of now no significant strides have been made in that department. Will keep you posted…

Cold Stuff International?
With the recent depleting of HSI ranks, rumors are swirling backstage that the Boss himself, Hot Stuff Mark Ward is angry. With the recent injuries to cornerstone team members Duke Ata and Max Burke Hot Stuff International seems to be on the outside looking in at the rankings of top factions in the City of Sin.

The Man, The Myth…
Newly crowned Roulette Champion Kain has been spotted around Las Vegas in recent weeks, reportedly being asked to be referred to as Alex. Could we finally be getting a glimpse into the man past the monster? A huge Kain fan myself, I’ll keep you in the loop with this one.

Unbeatable?
With everyone’s favorite Kiwi holding the SCW Bombshell Roulette Championship, many people backstage have brought up her stranglehold over the division. With the Roulette division traditionally the secondary championship, some are concerned that the top Bombshell is holding the WRONG title. Honestly? As long as I get to see Emma Rose in tights I don’t care what title she has…

Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?
Have we really seen the last of Austin Parker? I know that was the case but some rumblings have been going around about the “Cowboy” sticking around SCW in some capacity. Would be fine by me.

Dis-Honorable?
Winds have blown a bit and they’re saying that Andrew Garcia is ready to move up in the SCW hierarchy. He has apparently let it known that he’s done with the Roulette division and may set his sights on something a bit grander.

Electra-fying
Brand new Bombshell Champion Electra Styles is on fire. Just two short months after joining the ranks of SCW she has caught the top female prize in the company. What’s next for Miss Styles? Only the sky is the limit for this new star and I’m excited to watch her and see what she can do for a somewhat fledgling Bombshell division.

Unexpected Returns?
SCW Corporate has reported that some new contracts have been signed. Some of them are extensions, some of them developmental talent, but some of them are former stars for years past. Who are they? I have no clue but I’m intrigued to find out.

Got any tips for me? Get at me here or on twitter at @KCHotwire

According to multiple reports, newly returned SCW Star Jericho Hill is unhappy about his current booking status, going as far as demanding matches with top SCW talent. One source commented that they overhear Hill speaking with a top SCW executive saying:

"Until further notice, I, Jericho Hill will no longer be wrestling inside a SCW ring."

More on this story as it develops.

The Hotwire / BREAKING NEWS!- Joanne Canelli Resurfaces!
« on: April 26, 2014, 11:36:36 AM »
Rumors have been spreading around, that the reason The Jersey Devil Joanne Canelli hasn't been seen around for the last month is that she has been on a leave of absence, but that is not true. Last month while in her home town, Joanne Canelli was arrested on the docks by the FBI in search of drugs that she had had shipped in from over seas. The FBI found nothing , but had been tipped off that 2000 pounds of uncut heroin but there was nothing in the crates but wine sent from her father's company overseas. The last month she has been on trial, and spending time in a local jail in Jersey as the FBI continued to try and find anything linking her to the drugs that were suppose to be in the crates. They had searched her home, other places that she owned but they still found nothing, and has been released from the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in Clinton New Jersey. Miss Canelli had this to say upon her release...

Joanne: First off I want to say that I am disappointed in the US Government for tryin' to falsely accuse me of brinin' in drugs when I am not in that business. The search the FBI conducted invaded my privacy and my constitutional rights by doin' this search and accusin' me of such a thin'. I pay my taxes every year and do what is right, and this is how I am treated? I am lookin' for an apology from the head of the FBI but I know that it will not come. To my fans thank you for stickin' by me all this time, lettin' them know that I am important to you, and that I should never have been accused of such a thin'.

DISCLAIMER: The following contains content that may or may not be confirmed as fact. Tune in Climax Control to find out…

’Ship to Shore’ by the Stanfields begins to play as the HOTWIRE logo comes across the screen. Action from last week’s Climax Control recaps on the screen as the logo centers in the television screen. It fades to Kenny Chisholm, standing in a blue sport coat, checkered shirt and blue tie, and a pair of dark jeans, in front of a large screen with the “SCW” logo fixed behind him.

I am Kenny Chisholm and welcome to this special Post- ‘My Bloody Valentine’ edition of ‘the Hotwire’. What an amzing show on February 2nd as Sin City Wrestling kicked off the Supercard year in grand fashion. Let’s take a look back at the card people refer to as MBV.

Pictures of Scott, Jasper, and Katu, the Saviors, come up on the big screen.

The show started off with the Saviors making their return to SCW. They explained why they had shown up and did what they had done originally. That it was ‘Hot Stuff’ Mark Ward calling the shots. Well…they said they had had enough. That starting that night they were taking orders no more. This would not be that last time we saw them at MBV.

Pictures of Guns For Hire and Lucian Frost and John Doe come over the screen.

The SCW Tag Team Champions Ethan Brody and Landon Axel, better known as Guns For Hire, took on the former SCW Tag Team Champions John Doe and Lucian Frost in what was a great way to start the night off. The catch here is that Frost and Doe, despite being tag team champions separately on different occasions had never teamed up before. After a flurry of action which saw Axel tossed over the top rope and Brody nearly speared in half, the unlikely duo of Frost and Foshan’s own John Doe took home the gold in the upset win. Despite winning the belts it would not be Lucian Frost’s biggest shock of the night. Later in the broadcast the masked one finally…went unmasked. Turns out…he’s a distinguished looking gentlemen. Not gonna lie…expected some scarring and burn marks. Either way…we got us some new Tag Team Champions.

Pictures of Delia, Angelica, and Mz. Holly Wood, the Mean Girls, show up on the screen.

The Mean Girls were at it again, this time attacking a poor helpless fan girl. When is someone gonna step in and put an end to these bitches, eh?

Pictures of Connor Murphy and Trent Rayne come over the screen.

In what seemed like a bit of filler and perhaps a bit of a palate cleanser after an exciting tag team match, Connor Murphy picked up his first singles win here in Sin City Wrestling and subsequently sent Trent Rayne packing. Congratulations to Connor, I’m a big fan and I can’t wait to see some more of ya!

Pictures Michael Hardy, JT Starr, Depsayre, and Big B come up behind Kenny.

More tag team action as Despayre’s mystery partner turned out to not be much of a mystery at all. Big B is officially on the active SCW roster it seems and what a good way to get started by picking up a victory on the biggest event of the year so far. He can pick a good partner too. It looks like going forward that former World Tag Team champions Despayre has a new partner and that could be very exciting for tag team wrestling fans.

Pictures of Brother Grimm, Goth, and Steve Ramone come up on the screen.

I thought February 2nd would finally by the night that Steve Ramone got over the hump here in SCW and grabbed some singles gold. I guess not. The Creepy One retained when he electrified the living bejesus out of the The Fearless One. Something tells me that Ramone may finally fear something.

Joshua Acquin and Deavon Justice come over the screen.

In a match that I was secretly hoping would steal the show, newcomer Deavon Justice and old-comer Joshua Acquin put on an impressive display of brawling as the two beat the hell out of each other in a Street Fight. In the end it was the returning Acquin who would pick up the win but both men have to come out of this match looking mighty strong.

Pictures of Vixen, Misty, Joanne Canelli, and Emma Rose come up over the screen.

Only two titles changed hands at My Bloody Valentine and they both happened to be the Tag Team titles. Sin City Wrestling’s longest reigning Champions have finally been unseated as the unlikely duo of Emma Rose and Joanne Canelli has found themselves with a little extra weight in their waist. And no I don’t mean they’re getting fat. The new team looked polished together and I’m looking forward to seeing what they can do now that they are leading that division. The most surprising thing about all of this is how Vixen reacted to losing the titles. Some one needs a spanking and if my wife wasn’t watching this show…

Pictures of Simon Jones and Casey Williams show up on the screen.

One of the most epic feuds we have ever scene here in Sin City Wrestling has finally come to an end. With Jones’ Shooting Star Press and subsequent pinfall victory, the ‘Freight Train of Pain’ Casey Williams is now forced to retire. It will be sad to see Casey go but I would imagine we still see him looming in some sort of backstage capacity…just a hunch. Moving on to the victor, things could now be full steam ahead for the former Heavyweight Champion. Simon Jones has been on an impressive roll as of late, especially for one who never received his return match for the Heavyweight title. It’ll be interesting to see how this shakes out over the next few weeks.

Pictures of Mercedes Vargas, Jessie Salco, and Traci Patterson show up on the screen.

The lovely Mercedes Vargas was back in action defending her Roulette title against former Champion Jessie Salco and Traci Patterson in a match that featured the returning Karina Koji as a guest referee. Vargas retained but the real story here is the quick exchange between the new leader of the Party Horde and the Roulette Champion. I am super pumped if this is a match that we get to see!

Drake Green and ‘Hot Stuff’ Mark Ward come over the screen.

After months of building up to it the ‘Man of the People’ and the ‘Face of Wrestling’ got in the ring with each other and nothing disappointed. In what was clearly the bout of the evening, as voted by not only myself but also the SCW Universe, both men shined. We almost forgot how good Mark Ward really is and how it is truly a shame that he’ll be hanging up his tights. Green looked equally as good and probably had this thing won before the Saviors made their entrance…

“Mark pulls him to his feet and Irish whips him into the corner. Mark charges in but Drake moves out of dodge and Hot Stuff crashes sternum-first! Mark staggers around, clutching his chest, and Drake jumps up and hits...

Adams: The Showstopper!

Suddenly the lights in the entire building go completely out!

Simone: What the hell is going on!?

Adams: AH! Boogeyman!!!

The crowd shouts in confusion for several seconds when just as swiftly, the lights come back on -- but EVERYONE inside of the ring is down -- including the referee, Jasmine!

Simone: What just happened!?

Adams: Jasmine is down too! What is going on?

Suddenly a confused reaction from the crowd heralds the arrival of the Saviors as they hurry out to ringside to lend a hand! Led by Pandora, he and Jasper and Katu hurry out to the ringside area and slide into the six-sided ring to first check on the fallen Jasmine. They then turn and spot the fallen combatants and confer. They nod and walk over and proceed to try to revive, of all people, Drake Green!

Adams: Are the Saviors actually helping Drake Green!?

The three men lend a hand and help Drake to his feet, and the crowd explodes in cheers for the act of good will by these former hated heels! Scott Pandora checks with Drake, assuring that he's alright. Drake nods and Scott pats him on the chest and steps back -- AND JASPER AND KATU BOTH NAIL DRAKE GREEN WITH A DOUBLE SUPERKICK!!!

Simone: What the f-

Adams: ANDANGO!

Scott grabs Drake and pulls him up and hits a package piledriver on the ACW Champion! Katu and Jasper grab Mark and roll him on top of Drake, then dive out of the ring as Scott helps Jasmine revive herself before he too dives from the ring! She turns and sees the cover...

Adams: Oh no...

1.....
2.....

Simone: Not like this!

3!

Simone: No!

The bell rings and the crowd reacts with screams of protest and boos as Scott Pandora grabs the ACW belt and slides it inside of the ring.

Justin: The winner of the match ... and NEW ACW Champion ... HOT STUFF MARK WARD!!!

Scott Pandora and the rest of the Saviors climb inside of the ring where Mark grabs the ACW belt and Scott helps him to his feet and raises his arm in victory, much to the crowd's displeasure!

Simone: Those two faced bastards! It was a ruse! All of it! They played everyone for fools!

Adams: They made us think they were turning over a new leaf but they stabbed Drake Green in the back -- right in front of his face!

The crowd continues to boo as Katu and Jasper hold the ropes open for Mark and he slowly climbs out. The saviors then follow him as Mark smiles, holding the ACW belt high in the air as a very angry Drake Green watches him depart...!”

…the Saviors double crossed us all and now that Drake Green is no longer the ACW Champion, will we even see him on SCW television anymore? We’ll get to that more in a bit.

Jordan Williams, Ben Jordan, Mickey Carroll, and Jimmy Ringo come over the screen.

In what was the second grudge match of the evening, Ben Jordan finally got his revenge on his backstabbing former friend Mickey Carroll. Perhaps we won’t see the last of this rivalry but it was good to see that turncoat Carroll and that slimey Ringo get some comeuppance. Plus…you can never have too much ‘Pure Sexy’!

Pictures of Gothika, Amy Marshall, Roxi Johnson, and Necra Ovtavian Kane show up on the screen behind Kenny.

In the first half of the My Bloody Valentine Main Event, Gothika defended her Bombshell Championship against Roxi Johnson, Amy Marshall, and Necra Octavian Kane in a Fatal 4 Way match. Gothika displayed exactly why she is now the longest reigning champion in Sin City Wrestling with her victory over the three top contenders to her title. Today marks FOUR MONTHS for the celebrated champion’s reign which means, if my calculations are correct, that she is officially the longest reigning Bombshell Champion in SCW history. Congrats Gothika, you’ve earned it.

Pictures of Giani di Luca, Max Burke, and Jeremiah Hardin come up over the screen.

In the final match of the evening the red hot Heavyweight Champion Giani di Luca, or ‘GDL’ as I like to refer to him as, was able to fend off both challengers. This match was originally advertised as a Fatal 4 Way match as well and included Kain, but more on that later. Burke turned out to be GDL’s biggest challenge as of yet and I hoe we get to see more of these two go at it because they can surely deliver main event quality matches together. All in all it was a competitive night for Sin City Wrestling and I look forward to seeing what happens on the road to Blaze of Glory…

‘The Newsreel’ logo comes on behind him as music begins to play.

It’s time for my favorite part of ‘the Hotwire’…the Newsreel.

A picture of Kain comes up on the screen.

Alex Grayson, better known to the SCW Universe as Kain, shocked the world when he pulled himself out of the Heavyweight Championship match at MBV. He claims to have cited family issues and burn out as his reasonings but many have been grumbling that the former Tag Team and Roulette Champion had pulled himself out of contention because he didn’t feel as if he would win. Interesting….gotta love rumors!

Drake Green comes over the screen.

Drake Green is officially not a SCW Superstar. He was only being featured on television because of his current reign as the ACW World Champion. Now what? Sources say that Green will get an opportunity to earn back that roster spot sometime in February but were unclear on how and exactly when.

A picture of Gabriel comes over the screen.

The first ever SCW Heavyweight Champion has beein mending from injury and a broken heart the past few months and along the way has tweeted us about his journey on his world travels. However, rumors started spewing all over the internet when a new ‘Gabriel’ t-shirt was posted on the SCW Shop site. Could this be a hint at the former star returning or is this just the work of a bored Photoshop user home on a snow day? Who nows?!

Scott, Jasper, and Katu come up on the big screen.

The Saviors are once again making headlines. The IWC is buzzing about the trio and wondering if they’re planning on sticking around this time or if we were just teased again. More to come on this subject.

Casey Williams comes up on the screen.

The ‘Freight Train of Pain’ is officially retired from Sin City Wrestling as an active performer. Rumor has it that he will be training and possibly managing new SCW Star Andrew Garcia. At the very least the new ‘Freight Train of Pain’ DVD is now available in the SCW Shop and you can relive all of the great memories of Casey’s celebrated career.

Mark Ward.

The Co-Owner of Sin City Wrestling is now the holder of the ACW World title thanks to the Saviors. With two huge matches looming with the returning Nicholas Blair and Austin Parker, one can’t imagine those semi and full retirement matches will have a title on the line. Will Ward keep good on his word and destroy the ACW title once and for all or will he have something else up his sleeve. My vote is on the latter.

The SCW logo fills the screen.

SCW brass have been teasing a huge signing and my sources say that we should get some more information on this at this Sunday’s Climax Control. Also, all of our African tour dates have been released and I just need to mention that Kenny Chisholm guessed them all right…BOOM!

Kenny winks at the camera as music begins to play and the ‘Top 3’ logo comes over the screen.

It’s time for everybody else’s favorite segment, the top 3…

Honorable Mention:

This week’s honorable mention goes out to Max Burke. Despite failing in his first attempt to unseat GDL and win the SCW Heavyweight title at MBV, Burke has looked fantastic since returning. Rumors on the net say that Burke’s contract was a short term one but I would have to imagine that Underwood, Ward, and Staggs will all be lining up to extend whatever deal Burke currently has in place.

Number Three:

Number three this week are Joanne Canelli and Emma Rose. It’s not easy to unseat a champion, especially not the longest reigning champions in the company. Kudos go out to both ladies and we look forward to seeing what ya can do with the straps.

Number Two:

Giani di Luca is everything you could want in a Champion. He’s charismatic, good looking, and a tough competitor. He outlasted the red hot Max Burke at My Bloody Valentine and the sky is looking bright for the young title holder. I’m not sure who on the current SCW roster will be able to unseat him off of the SCW throne but it sure as hell will be a lot of fun to watch people like Burke and Simon Jones try.

Number One:

Sitting on the top of the mountain this week is the longenst reigning Bombshell Champion in company history, Gothika. Rumors were about all over the interwebs about Gothika losing steam and almost going through the motions. She certainly quieted her naysayers with her victory over the top three contenders in her division. Is there anyone out there that can beat her?

Music begins to play as the ‘Blast From the Past’ logo comes across the screen.

’Blast From The Past’ is upon us and we already have an early favorite. SCW Heavyweight Champion has been teamed up with SCW Bombshell Tag Team Champion Emma Rose and I can’t see any team beating them, certainly not any one of the teams that have already been announced. It’s gonna be interesting to see who else is paired up together.

’Ship to Shore’ begins to play again as the ‘Hotwire’ logo comes back up on the screen behind Kenny.

This has been ‘the Hotwire’. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #SCWHotwire and you might just win a free Kenny Chisholm t-shirt. Wait…what? There isn’t a Kenny Chisholm t-shirt?! What about a ‘Hotwire’ t-shirt?! No?! Max Burke has two and I don’t even have one?! This is bull*BLEEP*!

Kenny throws his cue cards up in to the air and walks off camera as the scene fades out.

I am Kenny Chisholm and welcome to this special ‘My Bloody Valentine’ edition of ‘the Hotwire’. We’ve got a great show in store for you tonight as we have special guest SCW Bombshell Roulette Champion and sexy beast Mercedes Vargas in the studio. All that and more but first, let’s take a look at what went down on the last episode of Climax Control.

Music begins to play as a picture of Mae Young shows up behind Kenny.

Johnny Mae Young was an icon in the world of Sports Entertainment. With a career spanning nearly nine decades, she truly was the original Bombshell. Climax Control opened with a salutatory ten bells sending Mae on her way. She truly will be missed.

Pictures of JT Starr, Deavon Justice, and Michael Hardy show up on the screen behind Kenny.

In a match of SCW main roster debuts we saw Deavon Justice, JT Starr, and Michael Hardy. Without wasting too much breath on this won, Justice looked pretty damn good here. A lot of people have this guy pegged as the next big star here and I can totally see why. He seems to be the total package. He’s got a date with the returning Joshua Acquin on Sunday which could be the launching point for a pretty successful first few months on the big show.

Pictures of Guns For Hire and Goth and Brother Grimm come over the screen.

The SCW Tag Team Champions Ethan Brody and Landon Axel, better known as Guns For Hire, took on the former SCW Tag Team Champions Goth and Roulette Champion Brother Grimm in what was far and away the best match of the night. All four men looked strong in the bout that GFH won, and they’ll all need the momentum. Axel and Brody will be defending their titles against Jon Dough and Frost while in an interesting twist, the Grimmster will be defending his Roulette title in a triple threat match against Steve Ramone and, you guessed it, Goth. Can’t wait for that one.

Pictures of JD Phoenix and Jessie Salco come up on the screen behind Kenny.

In what was a blindingly one-sided match, Jessie Salco picked up a win over the underwhelming JD Phoenix. Salco picked up some much needed momentum for her Bombshell Roulette title at My Bloody Valentine while all signs seem to be pointing toward the once promising Phoenix receiving her walking papers.

Pictures of Jordan Williams, Ben Jordan, Mickey Carroll, and Jimmy Ringo show up on the big screen.

In what was supposed to be a teaser singles match to the Tag Team Grudge Match at My Bloody Valentine immediately turned into another rumble between all four men. Jimmy Ringo was set to take on Jordan Williams but things quickly got out of hand and VP Erik Staggs had to come out to ringside to quiet things down. This match quietly has the potential to steal the show on Sunday simply because of it’s participants. Williams is a living legend and Ben Jordan is marked by yours truly as the next big superstar of our business. Couple that with the veteran tactician Carroll and promising new comer Ringo, we could have one hell of a match.

Pictures of Simon Jones and Damien Kingston come up on the screen.

In what would end up being his final match, Damien Kingston took on former SCW Heavyweight Champion Simon Jones. In true dusty fashion, Jones’ arch rival Casey Williams showed up and knocked out Kingston allowing Simon to pick up the “W”. What was Williams’ excuse? He wanted Jones to have momentum going into their final match at My Bloody Valentine where Jones will put his guaranteed Heavyweight title rematch up against Casey’s career. That’s right, if Simon Jones can figure out a way to finally knock off his rival, Casey Williams will retire. Interesting stuff…

Pictures of Gothika, Mercedes Vargas, Necra Octavian Kane, and Traci Patterson show up on the screen.

In the main event of the go home show, both Bombshell Champions, Gothika and Mercedes Vargas took on Necra Octavian Kane and Traci Patterson. In the end it was the Goddess of the Dead who pinned the Bombshell Champion Gothika in the end. Some foreshadowing in this match as Traci Patterson earned a spot in the triple threat match for Mercedes’ Roulette title and Necra earned a shot at the Bombshell title. I can’t wait for ‘My Bloody Valentine’..

The screen turns black and then cuts to Kenny and Mercedes sitting down in a studio like setting on two leather chairs facing each other. Mercedes is wearing a red halter dress and has a red flower in her hair. A table between them displays the Bombshell Roulette Championship.

Mercedes, thanks for coming on the Hotwire.

Thanks for having me, KC.

Mercedes looks around the studio.

This is nice, being in LA, where it's sunny and warm. Unlike what we're getting up North. It is crazy up there.

Tell me about it. What is it, below twenty, something like that? Make you wonder why the Super Bowl is even happening there.

I'm not entirely sure what the NFL was thinking there, but hey, how often does New Jersey gets to host a Super Bowl, right?

Well, let's get to it, Mercedes. We're four nights away from My Bloody Valentine at the Desert Arena in Primm, Las Vegas where you will defend the Bombshell Roulette Championship in a triple threat against Traci Patterson and Joanne Canelli, two opponents you know all too well. What's going through your mind as the first SCW pay-per-view of 2014 nears?

I'm looking forward to my first title defense against Traci and Joanne at the pay-per-view. And like you said, I've been in the ring with both girls, so I know what I'm getting myself into and what to expect in four days. Can't wait.

Let's take a look back. The first Climax Control of 2014, you get a return match with then-champion Amy Marshall by virtue of winning a four-way number one contender's match on the final Climax Control of 2013. What did it mean to finally regain the championship and making history at the same time?

Mercedes smiles.

I felt overwhelmed for the most part. You never forget your first, as they say. Winning the Bombshell Roulette Championship back in October of last year was a special moment, and I know that I get a lot of flak for the many second chances I got at it, but it was worth it. But to actually pull off a second reign, that's not easy to do. It's not easy to pull of a reign with any championship.

Mercedes push back a few strands of brunette hair out of her eyes.

Amy Marshall and I, for those who may or may not know, we have a lot of history over the years and no matter what the company was or the match, we both wanted to perform at a high level and prove who was the best, and in our most recent chapter in SCW, we went all out. Whether it was in a cage, whether it was with tables or even in a hardcore rules environment, it didn't matter. And as much as I hate to say this, KC, I don't think we're done quite yet. If Amy doesn't end up walking out of the pay-per-view the Bombshell Champion, at least she'll have something to fall back on. She still has a rematch, so the war, I guess you can say, is still on.

She smiles.

After all that, I think we've proven there is more to us than just rolling around on the mat together, wouldn't you say?

Kenny offers a nervous laugh, remembering his comments about Mercedes and Amy's most recent match on the premier episode of his show.

So, I see you've been watching, huh?

Oh yeah. Like the Good Book says, you should forgive others, and I forgive you, Kenny.

Mercedes reaches for a bottled spring water and takes a sip of it before replacing the cap.

Last Climax Control, in the main event, you and Gothika lost in to Necra Octavian Kane and Traci Patterson. Some are saying that the top two champions in the Bombshell Division should be worried after the events from ten days ago. What makes you think you'll walk out of My Bloody Valentine with the Bombshell Roulette Championship? Why do you deserve to win Sunday?

Look, nothing against Jessie and Traci, they're both good wrestlers. With Traci, what happened ten days ago was a fluke, a stroke of pure luck, a mistake, for one. And two, this Sunday she won't have Necra Octavian Kane or anyone else to rely on. I fully expect Jessie to give her all, and put up as much of a struggle as she can, but, in the end, it won’t matter. So why am I going to win this Sunday at My Bloody Valentine?

Mercedes looks into Kenny's eyes as her answer was firm.

Because I won't settle for anything less.

The camera focuses in on Mercedes’ eyes before going black. After a second it cuts back to Kenny standing in front of the screen again and ‘The Newsreel’ logo comes on behind him as music begins to play.

It’s time for my favorite part of ‘the Hotwire’…the Newsreel.

A picture of Necra Octavian Kane comes up on the screen.

Rumors have been abound about the newest domain of the Goddess of Death. They say that an old ghost town just 20 minutes outside of Vegas has become the latest home for Necra and the family, along with any servants that have followed her. At the ending of her last promo the lights within the town have been turned on, and now the full renovations can begin. We tried to get in touch with Miss Kane or any of her staff but have not received any word back about the "Oasis" in the heart of the desert as of yet.

Dante Mephisto shows up on the screen.

Who exactly is Dante Mephistophello who's more commonly known amongst the wrestling scene and in recent months in Sin City Wrestling as Dante Mephisto the very man who carries a headless teddy bear with him by the name of Cyrus. It seems as though Dante is a true enigma, not a single thing is known about him. Some rumors have been stated that Dante was born Dante Sar Nyun Mephistophello to an Italian Japanese. Its also said that Dante didn't have it easy growing up, his father an Italian mobster, and his mother of Japanese heritage and rumored to have connections with the Japanese Yakuza. It's also been rumor that Dante can speak 5 different languages, which include Italian, Japanese, English, German, and Spanish.

I once heard that Dante brought his way into professional wrestling with “blood money”, having saw the sport on television while vacationing and well was glued to one particular thing, the championship title that was around the champions waist at the time, knowing he couldn't buy it, he'd have to train, and well he bought his way into the sport and hired the best that money could buy. Other than that not much can be said or told about the man who's name is Dante Mephisto, and if there is something floating around about him or said about him its’ probably not true for all that's surfaced thus far has been rumors and just rumors...

Roxi Johnson comes up on the screen behind Kenny.

he former SCW Bombshell Champion Roxi Johnson was on hand in Reno this passed week on Climax Control, albeit in a loss. There has been some winds flying around backstage that SCW’s resident Superhero may be set for another title run but it may not be the title that would first come to mind. Hopefully we’ll get some more insight on this week’s episode of Climax Control and possibly from Ms. Johnson herself.

A picture of Joanne Canelli comes up on the screen behind Kenny.

The rumor mill has once again opened up on what investments that the "Jersey Devil Diva" Joanne Canelli has made here in Vegas and other area's of Nevada. Some say that she is going to start her own casino, while others speculate that she is trying to bring back east coast influence back to the strip like it had been in the early days of Vegas. We managed to reach Miss Canelli to get a comment and this is what she had to say about it.

"I assure you, any business that I have within the casino's is totally legit. The days of the mob ownin' Vegas have come and gone. I take pride in what my family does and will continue to try an help improve the lives of everyone that works in the places that I have invested in."

Scott, Jasper, and Katu come up on the big screen.

Rumors are flying all around that the Saviors will be making their return to Sin City television..er..iPPV…this Sunday. Whispers are abound that they have something big to announce. I’ve heard this before from them and last time they had something to say, they piledrove a couple of people.

Casey Williams and Simon Jones come up on the screen.

We may finally have the end to this storied rivalry come Sunday. Even thought the man is part evil, he did burn Simon’s house to the ground, I feel like I have to root for Casey Williams on Sunday. What could SCW possibly be like without the ‘Freight Train of Pain’?

The SCW logo fills the screen.

All sorts of rumors are flying around the IWC about possible African tour stops. From what I understand we will find out Sunday at least the very first stop. Places like Cairo, Morocco, and Capetown are being thrown out there and my sources say it will be one of them!

Kenny winks at the camera as music begins to play and the ‘Top 3’ logo comes over the screen.

It’s time for everybody else’s favorite segment, the top 3…

Honorable Mention:

This week’s honorable mention goes out to Jessie Salco. The heavy metal fan made a promise to her large following that she was making it a priority in 2014 to fix some gold around her waist. She made a giant leap toward that goal at Climax Control by putting away, perhaps permanently, JD Phoenix and earning her a spot in a triple threat match against Mercedes Vargas and Traci Patterson for Vargas’ Roulette title.

Number Three:

Number three this week is Deavon Justice. The man had an impressive debut as he knocked his way through the other two debuting SCW stars Michael Hardy and JT Starr. Both Starr and Hardy will highly touted coming in to their debuts and Justice made quick work of them. I’m looking forward to seeing more of what this guy can do.

Number Two:

For the second time in a row, Simon Jones has made my list at number two. He was able to put away Damien Kingston in his farewell match, albeit with a little help, and is picking up major steam on his win streak. If he can find some way to send another SCW star packing in Casey Williams, Simon will be looking directly at the winner of the SCW Heavyweight title match.

Number One:

Sitting on the top of the mountain this week former Bombshell Roulette Champion and Tag Team Champion Necra Octavian Kane. Kane picked up one of the biggest pinfalls of her career when she was able to get the three count on Bombshell Champion Gothika and is now looking primed and ready to become a Triple Crown Winner.

Music begins to play as the ‘My Bloody Valentine’ logo comes across the screen.

The very first iPPV of 2014 is upon us as we head out to the ‘Star of the Desert Arena’ in Primm, Nevada for ‘My Bloody Valentine’. Standing out on the card to me are several title matches including the Bombshell Roulette match, the SCW Tag Team and Bombshell Tag Team title matches, the ACW title match which pits former SCW Heavyweight Champion Drake Green against SCW Co-Owner Mark Ward, and of course what I believe will end up being the bout of the night…the Fatal Four Way match for the SCW Heavyweight title match. Kain, Jeremiah Hardin, Max Burke and Giani du Luca will fight it out for the grandest prize in Sports Entertainment. Although my money is on the Champion to retain, don’t rule Burke out. He’s on a bit fo a tear and could pull out the upset.

’Ship to Shore’ begins to play again as the ‘Hotwire’ logo comes back up on the screen behind Kenny.

This has been ‘the Hotwire’. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #SCWHotwire and you might just find yourself standing right next to me on the next episode. Probably not though…

Kenny fist bumps the camera as the scene fades out.

’Ship to Shore’ by the Stanfields begins to play as the HOTWIRE logo comes across the screen. Action from last week’s Climax Control recaps on the screen as the logo centers in the television screen. It fades to Kenny Chisholm, standing in a checkered blazer, white shirt and brown tie, and a pair of dark jeans, in front of a large screen with the “SCW” logo fixed behind him.

I am Kenny Chisholm and welcome to this week’s edition of ‘the Hotwire’. We’ve got a great show in store for you tonight as we have not one but two special guests tonight in one half of the SCW Bombshell Tag Team Champions, Misty and former SCW Heavyweight Champions and current ACW World Champion, Drake Green. All that and more but first, let’s take a look at what went down on this past Sunday’s Climax Control.

Music begins to play as pictures of Drake Green and Cyrus King show up behind Kenny.

In what may or may not have been a recognized SCW title match, Drake Green defended his title against Mark Ward’s hand picked challenger Cyrus King. Both King and Green are no strangers to each other and this was not their first encounter. Both delivered impressive performances and despite falling short of the victory this no doubt has to push King up the card. After about fifteen minutes of back and forth action Green was able to hit his signature DDT and pick up the pinfall; but it was what happened after the match that seemed to garner the most attention…

”DING DING DING!

Justin: The winner of the match, and STILL ACW Champion.... Drake Green.

Simone: Drake's done it again!

Adams: No matter what Hot Stuff throws at him, Drake Green keeps going!

Jacob gives the ACW title back to Drake Green, but Hot Stuff slides in the ring behind Drake. As Drake turns around, Hot Stuff nails him with a superkick to the jaw!

Simone: Red Hot from Hot Stuff!

The fans boo as Hot Stuff signals to Justin Decent to give him a microphone. Justin does and Hot Stuff walks over to Drake, leaning over the fallen champion.

HS: I know your little knocked out arse can hear me Drake.

Hot Stuff leans down and slaps Drake across the face.

HS: You know that old phrase, if you want something done right, do it yourself?

Hot Stuff smirks

HS: At My Bloody Valentine Drake, I will be doing it myself.

Simone: Is he saying what I think he is?

Adams: It sounds like it.

HS: One on one Drake, I will end that little title run of yours, and show the world just who you are and what ACW is. A piss poor promotion, that employs the weak.

Hot Stuff stands up, dropping the microphone on Drake.

Simone: Hot Stuff Mark Ward Vs Drake Green at My Bloody Valentine!

Adams: I'm in shock!”

So there you have it, Drake Green has finally got his wish. He will face SCW Co-Owner one on one for his ACW title with threat being if he loses…ACW could disappear forever. I had the chance to sit down with Mr. Showtime earlier this week and this is what he had to say…

The camera cuts to Kenny and Drake sitting down in a studio like setting on two leather chairs facing each other. Kenny is wearing a gray suit and Drake is wearing a black sport coat over a white shirt with dark colored jeans.

So it’s been a long journey to get here. The emotional roller coaster going back and forth between you and Mark Ward has been a tough one; albeit an entertaining one. Why don’t you walk me through what that’s been like?

It’s been aggravating that’s for sure. It all boils down to Mark wanting me to join him in his reincarnated Supremacy and I turned him down. It was never meant to be insulting but I felt at that time I needed to be on my own path. I don’t think he liked hearing no very much.

Kenny smiles.

I don’t think so either. Now that you have JJ Dixon in your corner, will there be more to ACW than just the World title?

I think so, yes. I certainly hope so. JJ has his faults sure but he’s an incredible performer and her understands the kind of matches and spectacles that the fans want to see. Will ACW ever return to the prominence it once was? I don’t know. One thing I do know is that JJ and I are doing all we can to get out from underneath Mark Ward. It starts with My Bloody Valentine and then on to the SCW Heavyweight title rematch that I’m owed. If JJ is going to sell ACW to the networks it will go along way if SCW’s Heavyweight champion is prominently featured on the show.

So you’ve come back to toward the top of the card with your ACW title and you’ve got the match you’ve been asking for. The world wants to know…is Mr. Showtime going to walk out of My Bloody Valentine victorious. Can he beat Hot Stuff?

Drake’s smile fades.

Can I beat Mark Ward? Let me tell you something Kenny, that little piece of *BLEEP* can’t hold a candle to me. He’s a washed up, over cocky *BLEEP*hole who’s got a day of reckoning coming his way. I see that look in your eye Kenny. That look of doubt…

I didn’t say-

Drake cuts Kenny off.

You didn’t have to. Don’t forget who you’re talking to. I’m the Man of the People. I’m the reason people even tuned in to you in the first place in ACW. Mark Ward ain’t got *BLEEP* on the Showtopper. You understand that?

The camera cuts back to Kenny standing in front of the big screen.

As you can see Drake got a little passionate during our sit-down. You can catch the interview in it’s entirety during the promotional period before My Bloody Valentine.

A picture of Jamie Dean shows up behind Kenny.

Who the hell is this guy?

Pictures of Joanne Canelli, Gothika, Roxi Johnson, and Traci Patterson come over the screen.

The second match of the evening featured four very sexy Bombshells in tag team action. The current SCW Bombshell Champion Gothika teamed up with the Jersey Devil Diva to take on former Bombshell Champion Roxi Johnson and country-girl Traci Patterson. Three out of four of the women seemed a bit out of sorts with the action in the ring and it may have the competition around not living up to their billings but one Bombshell in particular looked fantastic. By hook or by crook, Joanne Canelli picked up a win by pinning the former champ, Roxi. This could be huge for Canelli and it should bump her up the marquee a bit.

Pictures of Simon Jones and Goth come over the screen.

For the first time in my life I am agreeing with Jason Adams. The Match of the Week was a match that should’ve cost the SCW Universe $44.95 to see on Pay-Per-View as two form Heavyweight Champions collided. Both Jones and Goth did a number on each other and it was Jones who was able to roll up Goth in surprising fashion and pick up the ‘W’. SCW brass should take notice as these two had phenomenal chemistry together in the six-sided ring and hopefully after Jones settles his arson debt, we’ll get to see these two again.

Pictures of Team Jordan and Blood Omen come over the screen.

It definitely wasn’t the reunion of Blood Omen that kept this match going. Ben Jordan and Jordan Williams are starting to develop great chemistry as a team. The fluidity was apparent and they picked up what looked like an easy victory to the naked eye over one of the more formidable tag teams in SCW history. This may have been bad news for Mickey Carroll and Jimmy Ringo as the four men are set to square off in a just a few weeks at My Bloody Valentine. Ringo and Carroll must see this as well as they decided to blindside Ben Jordan in the parking lot. SCW Studios has learned that Jordan suffered minor injuries and will be on hand this week for Climax Control as his partner takes on the Douche that is Jimmy Ringo.

Pictures of Casey Williams and Giani di Luca fill the screen behind Kenny.

The Heavyweight Champion was on hand for Climax Control in Reno and he was in action in a non-title match against the ‘Freight Train of Pain’ Casey Williams. I have to say that Williams has been in beast mode as of recently and he looks like he’s primed and ready to rip Simon Jones apart. Despite this, I don’t if anyone can beat Di Luca straight up one on one right now. The guy is on a run that looks like it could end up being historic. He was able to lift the behemoth Williams up over his head and deliver the Jersey Turnpike to pick up the victory. However, he was met with a bit of a surprise after the match was over…

”DING DING DING!

Justin: The winner of the match.... GIANI DI LUCA!

Simone: Giani has defeated the beast!

As Giani is handed back the Heavyweight championship, Casey stares at Simon Jones. An evil grin appears on The Freight Train Of Pain's face which has Giani looking down at Williams puzzled.

CRACK!

Giani Di Luca gets blasted in the back of the head with a rolling elbow, causing him drop his championship.

Simone: IT'S BURKE!

Giani Di Luca gets blasted in the back of the head with a rolling elbow, causing him drop his championship. Without hesitation, Max quickly locks up Giani's neck, and plants him face first into his own championship.

Simone: MAXimum Overdrive!

Burke rips the microphone from Justin Decent's hand with authority. He steps up, and stands over the fallen champion.

Burke: You told me to come at ya brooooo. You should know better than that. See you soon champ.

Burke throws the mic down, and raises his arms in the air as his "Behind Blue Eyes" new Coopa Dubstep remix echoes throughout the nightclub.”

…Nothing been announced yet but it seems like all signs are pointing toward Max Burke making his in-ring return against Giani Di Luca at My Bloody Valentine and boy does that excite me. Hey…I am Canadian you know.

Pictures of Misty, Vixen, and the Foshan Bombshells fill up the screen behind Kenny.

To round out the evening we saw the longest reining Champions in SCW, Misty and Vixen, defend their titles against the Number One Contenders Song and Orchid…the Foshan Bombshells. Despite and impressive effort in the outing the current Champions were able to retain. I feel as if the only way these two may lose their titles is Misty’s pending childbirth….I mean…retirement. The Bombshell division seems to be on an upswing but unless SCW brass throws some of these budding singles stars together, I don’t see any of the existing teams knocking off the former Queen of the Damned and her partner, the incredibly, ridiculously hot Vixen. Damn Spike Staggs is a likely guy.

Kenny shakes his head for a moment.

Any how, speaking of Misty, I hade a chance to sit down with her earlier this week and discuss some of those rumors swirling about her backstage…

The camera cuts to Kenny and Misty sitting down in a studio like setting on two leather chairs facing each other. Kenny is wearing a blue suit and Misty is wearing a black pinstriped skirt and a black top.

Thanks for joining me tonight, Misty. It seems I struck a nerve with the former Queen of the Damned.

Misty shakes her head and laughs.

I wouldn't say you struck a nerve, Kenny, but I decided that a sit down chat with you would be more appropriate to deal with some of these...rumors. Rumors that you are not helping to put to rest I might add.

You mean one rumor in specific? So you're sure you're not pregnant? You don't have a little Drake Green baking in that oven and using your retirement as a big cover-up for the pregnancy?

Hang on. One question at a time, okay? First off, no I'm not pregnant. I think I would know if I was pregnant, Kenny.

Really? Forgive me for bringing up the past here, but I heard that wasn't the case a year and a half ago.

Misty narrows her eyes at Kenny.

I wish you hadn't brought that up. It may be in the past, but it is still a sore subject, and one I don't like being reminded of.

But it proves the fact that maybe you are pregnant, and just don't know it yet.

I'm NOT pregnant. End of story, Kenny. And besides, even if I were, what makes you assume that it would be Drake's baby? I do have a boyfriend, you know, and it's not Drake.

True, but you two did hook up a couple months back. So if you are pregnant, it's a good possibility he could be the baby daddy.

Misty lets out an irritated sigh, trying to keep her attitude in check.

Once again, Kenny, I'm NOT pregnant. You've just made up some story that will create a scandal backstage.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I didn't make up any story. I'm going by what everyone else is saying. You heard the guy in the front row last week. I didn't tell him to say that.

Maybe not, but you don't have to focus on something I already told people wasn't true. So I'm asking you nicely to stop, because there is no bun in this oven.

If you say so.

I do say so. I have no reason to use a retirement as a cover up for anything, and I wouldn't do that. People need to understand that this is my life. I decide what to do with it, and I've decided that this year is it for me. I'm almost thirty-five years old, and I'd like to retire in good condition, and not because my body says I should.

You've said you will continue to wrestle as long as you hold the Bombshell Tag Titles with Vixen.

Misty nods.

That's right. And I stand by that statement.

Alright then. And what happens if you still hold the titles after December 31st this year? What then? Do you plan to just walk away?

I don't think that will be necessary. As much as I'd like to hold on to the titles for that long, I don't think that's going to happen. Not as long as the Bombshell Division and the tag team division as a whole continue to grow.

Well if the word going around is right, that just might happen. You'll have to forgive my honesty again, but I have a gut feeling that by the end of the year you just might change your mind about this retirement.

Then that is your choice to think that, Kenny, but I won't be changing my mind. So, you'll have to find something else to talk about.

And I'm sure I'll find plenty more to talk about, Misty. Thank you for coming here to...clear that up.

Anytime, Kenny. It was my pleasure.

Oh no, the pleasure was all mine.

The camera cuts back to Kenny and ‘The Newsreel’ logo comes on the screen behind Kenny as music begins to play.

It’s time for my favorite part of ‘the Hotwire’…the Newsreel.

Pictures of Delia, Angelica, and Ms. Holly Wood come up over the screen behind Kenny.

Three women, well almost three women, have been showing up on SCW television for the past few weeks and making themselves the center of attention…at least for a few minutes every week. A fashionista, a transvestite, and a really hot chick have banded together and are calling themselves the Mean Girls. Just who are they exactly? No one really knows but they seem to be pissing off a few people along the way. It’ll be interesting to see what develops with them as I’ve heard some rumblings backstage that they may have a few more getting added to their posse. I hope they look like Angelica.

The ‘NXT’ logo comes up over the screen.

SCW officials have been tight lipped about a situation with an NXT member apparently going off the handle backstage. Sources are saying that it is a relatively high profile member of the iconic Stable and that stiff punishments may be handed down to not only this specific SCW Star but also other members of the faction as well.

A picture of Damien Kingston comes up on the screen.

He’s not gone! I may win my bet after all. Despite a flurry of tweets a couple of weeks ago alluding to a second divorce with Sin City Wrestling, it seems as though the ‘Man of Liberty’ is returning in all of his glory this week on Climax Control. Last time we saw him on SCW television it was in a losing effort in a title match against Giani Di Luca. This week he takes on former Champ Simon Jones it what has Match of the Week written all over it.

Scott, Jasper, and Katu come up on the big screen.

Despite declaring on Twitter that they didn’t like us here in SCW and are now gone, sources have been telling me that the trio known as ‘The Saviors’ are far from done here in Vegas and may very well be part of a high profile match on February the 2nd. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out and what some of SCW’s brass has to say.

Pictures of Ben Jordan and Mickey Carroll show up behind Kenny.

The once unbreakable bond of Mickey Carroll and Ben Jordan seems to now be officially broken. The two will meet in tag team action at My Bloody Valentine in February but in an interesting twist, As their respective partners battle it out this week they will find themselves tied to one another at ringside in what seems like an effort to deter them from interrupting the match. Yeah…ok. Another brilliant move by Mark Ward no doubt. I wonder where they’ll be more carnage…in the ring or outside of it?

The SCW logo fills the screen

SCW has seen an influx of talent in recent weeks, in no doubt an effort from Christian Underwood and company to interject a little bit of freshness in to the locker room. With names like Jamie Dean, Trent Rayne, Michael Hardy, Deavon Justice, JT Starr and…

Kenny looks up at the camera confused as he reads his notes from his card.

Andy Garcia has joined SCW?! The man is my idol! I must’ve watched the Godfather Part III like a thousand times. When he bites off Joe Mantegna’s ear…freaking classic. Wait…what?

Kenny looks off camera.

Andrew Garcia? Really? That’s confusing.

Music begins to play as the ‘Top 3’ logo comes over the screen.

It’s time for everybody else’s favorite segment, the top 3…

Honorable Mention:

This week’s honorable mention goes out to Team Jordan. Yes I’m still copyrighting it. Ben Jordan and Jordan Williams are turning into a legit SCW tag team. With their victory over former Champions Blood Omen last Sunday they have solidified themselves in at least my eyes as legitimate threats to current Champions Guns For Hire. It will be interesting to see what happens at My Bloody Valentine because if they can get passed Ringo and Carroll then we might have the next Tag Team Champions already lined up.

Number Three:

Number three this week is Joanne Canelli. The Jersey Devil Diva picked up an impressive victory in her tag team match when she was able to pin former Champion Roxi Johnson. The bombshell divisions seem to be wide open at the moment, especially at the top where there doesn’t seem to be a clear cut contender to Gothika’s title. I’m interested to see where Ms. Canelli ends up on the My Bloody Valentine card and I’m sure Gothika must be too.

Number Two:

Simon Jones has to be one of the more underrated former Heavyweight Champions in SCW history. He took the title in impressive fashion from future Hall of Famer Jordan Williams and did well with it, holding it for over two months. He only lost the title in a six-pack challenge match, unfair odds for any defending Champion. This week he was able to pin the only Grand Slam Champion in SCW’s history, a feat not too many can brag about. If Simon is able to put away Kingston this week and then topple the mountain that is Casey Williams at My Bloody Valentine, one can only assume he’ll be staring directly at Giani Di Luca and the SCW Heavyweight Championship rematch he never got.

Number One:

Sitting on the top of the mountain this week are the Bombshell Tag Team Champions and NXT members Misty and Vixen. They were able to put away the only potential contenders in the Foshan Bombshells pretty efficiently and right now they seem to be the most dominant champions in the Company. With Misty holding her half of the titles since August and Vixen taking over for Odette Ryder in October, the ship doesn’t seem to be docking anytime soon, Kudos ladies. Give yourselves big pats on the back…you deserve it.

’Ship to Shore’ begins to play again as the ‘Hotwire’ logo comes back up on the screen behind Kenny.

This has been ‘the Hotwire’. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #SCWHotwire and you might just find yourself on the show. At least I might mention you. More likely I’ll just steal your comment. I’m Kenny Chisolm and I’m gonna go drink some scotch!

Kenny gives the camera the finger as the scene fades out.

DISCLAIMER: The following contains content that may or may not be confirmed as fact. Tune in Climax Control too find out…

’Ship to Shore’ by the Stanfields begins to play as the HOTWIRE logo comes across the screen. Action from last week’s Climax Control recaps on the screen as the logo centers in the television screen. It fades to Kenny Chisholm, standing in a blue blazer, white shirt and green tie, and a pair of dark jeans, in front of a large screen with the “SCW” logo fixed behind him.

I am Kenny Chisholm and welcome to the very first edition of the Hotwire. You may have seen on two editions of Sin City Wrestling’s Climax Control Review but unfortunately, that show doesn’t exist anymore. Yes I’m sorry…I know…get over it. Starting this historic week you will get to see me during this expanded hour of television not only recap all of last weeks action but also in several other segments. These segments will include but not be limited to the ‘Weekly Top 3’ and my personal favorite...the “Newsreel”. But let’s stop wasting valuable screen time, this last episode of Climax Control was monumental when talking about the landscape of nearly all of SCW titles…

Music begins to play as pictures of Amy Marshall and Mercedes Vargas show up behind Kenny.

In the fashion in which they normally do, Amy Marshall and Mercedes Vargas put on a highly competitive bout with Amy’s Bombshell Roulette strap on the line. Despite besting Vargas in their last two matches, Marshall was unable to put away the challenger in their third straight match and Vargas walked out of Laughlin a two-time champion. There were some grumblings on the internet with some hardcore fans complaining we’d have to see the same match yet again at February’s My Bloody Valentine and to them I just have this to say…SHUT UP! Go back to your You Porn and stop complaining. These bombshells are hot and they look good rolling around on the mat together! Plus, these two have put on some of the better Bombshell matches over the past few months and I never argue with good wrestling.

The ‘My Bloody Valentine’ logo appears behind Kenny.

As I just alluded to a moment ago, the name of February’s Supercard has been announced. ‘My Bloody Valentine’ will be live February 2nd from the Star of the Desert Arena right here in Las Vegas. And when I say right here in Vegas, I am in no way referring to the nice, comfortable, air conditioned television studio that I am in, in Los Angeles.

The images behind Kenny change to Connor Murphy, Steve Ramone, Mickey Carroll, and Jimmy Ringo.

We finally got to see the team of Jimmy Ringo and Mickey Carroll together and in action. The downside of this match was the last minute, thrown together team of Connor Murphy and Steve Ramone. Although I happen to be a fan of Ramone, the pairing with the newcomer Murphy seemed a bit off. Nevertheless, all four men were in great form. As usual, Ringo came out insulting the crowd for some cheap and effective heat and even Mickey Carroll joined in. Team Jordan tried to make an appearance but couldn’t get their in time as Ringo picked up the pinfall on Murphy. The most exciting about this matchup was the looming matchup between Ringo and Carroll and Team Jordan. Yes I did coin the name Team Jordan and I really don’t care if anyone else likes it.

A picture of ‘Pro Wrestling’s Pedigree’ shows up behind Kenny.

Max Burke made another appearance this past week on Climax Control and he made it known exactly what his intentions are. With just two Climax Control’s remaining before the big event in February, the question remains that who will face Giani di Luca for the SCW Heavyweight title. Giani did make an appearance later in the night to a massive POP from the Laughlin crowd to rebuff what Burke had said. The heavyweight title scene seeming to be wide open at the moment, it’ll be interesting to see if the former Roulette champion gets a crack at the big prize or if someone else steps up to steal his thunder. Apparently there was a sighting of Nick Jones last week. Would love to see what he has to say about all of this.

Pictures of Kain and Erik Steel show up behind Kenny.

In what turned out to be squash match, Kain beat the living bejesus out the underwhelming Eric Steel. The King of Kings sent a message on Sunday night, letting the SCW Universe know that he is on an upward climb in 2014. As for Steel, well not so much. After failing to hit the promotional marks that SCW brass like to see, and being carted off to the hospital on Sunday night, Mark Ward and Christian Underwood have executed their right to terminate his contract. Adidos!

The pictures change to that of Jon Dough and Aaron Matthews.

During a prolonged commercial break, SCW Tag Team Champion Jon Dough had come out to address the packed house. Let’s take a look what he had to say…

Jon Dough: Thanks for the love.

Jon points to his SCW Tag Team Title that is tied around his waist. The SCW Crowd on hand starts to go nuts.

Jon Dough: So Tonight’s the night huh. A-Matt and I get to defend the Tag Titles for the 1st time.

Crowd: Yes! Yes! Yes! Crowd cheers a bit.

Jon Dough: I glad some people are happy. You see since I arrived here earlier I had some of the SCW Stars shake their head or give me these sod looks. I almost feel like they’re letting me know that A-Matt and I have no chance on winning tonight.

Crowd; Boo!!!

Jon gets a little louder on the mic

Jon Dough: Well now look guys.

Jon walks up to one of the turnbuckles and climbs it to sit on the top turnbuckle.

Crowd: SCW! SCW! SCW! SCW!

Jon Dough: I agree SCW!! But like I was saying Maybe there right maybe this is the day I lose my title maybe not. One thing is for sure, very show that follows this C.C. in 2014 better be up to par because I plan on giving you fans the best dam Main Event ever.

Crowd: Jon Dough! Jon Dough! Jon Dough!

Jon Dough: I just hope A-Matt does his part to make this the best match of the night, because something tells me that Guns for Hire are going to be more than ready for this fight.

Crowd is heard cheering.

Jon Dough: However I just have something to say to Gun and hire.

Jon looks at the camera.

Crowd is heard cheering.

Jon Dough: Look guys I know you guys won your last match via some Bullshit but remember that A-Matt and Jon Dough are not I repeat are not The Saviors. So please keep that in mind tonight.

Jon uses his free hand to point at his title, while he hops of the turnbuckle.

Crowd: SCW! SCW! SCW!

Jon Dough: So just keep in mind this match is for the titles, not a match for revenge or avenges. However we do want to put on a good match just not one were we injure are selves to the point that were out of action for a while.

Crowd is heard cheering.

Jon Dough: Ethan Brody I know your pretty pissed off right now because of what took place two weeks ago. For those who have been living under a rock I have a clip of what happened.

All eyes focus on the SCW Tron

“Katu quickly gets into the ring only to get speared by Ethan, Jasmine watches Jasper closely waiting for the tap-out…..that never comes as Scott Pandora slams a chair into Landon’s head sending him to the mat!

Adams: Well, you were correct!

Justin: Your winners by Disqualification, the Guns for Hire!

Simone: And I don’t think The Saviors care!

Ethan gets a chairshot of his own before Scott discards the chair and orders to other two Saviors to join in on the beat down off Landon and Ethan; they do so immediately putting the boots to the prone forms of Landon and Ethan!

Simone: A great match ruined by interference!

Scott Pandora directs Katu and Jasper to the Guns for Hire and they triple team L.A. for a few seconds until he is down, then they do the same to Ethan. Once both of the Guns for Hire are down, Jasper and Katu drag them to their feet as Scott Pandora grabs a microphone. He then makes a cut throat motion with his thumb and Jasper and Katu hit synchronized pile drivers and the Guns for Hire's heads bounce off the ring.”

Crowd: Boooo!

Jon looks down to his waist, Jon is looking at his Tag Team belt. Crowd starts going a little nuts.

Jon Dough: So yea like I said this match of ours tonight is for the Tag Titles , not a match to take out your frustration.

Crowd: Boo!

Jon Dough: Shit! I know I’m not getting booed. I’m Jon Dough!

Crowd: Jon WHO?

Jon Dough: I said I’m Jon….

Crowd: DOUGH!!!!

Jon Dough: That’s right the SCW Champ of the fans. The man that wishes Gun for Hire good luck in this match. The match that should be match of the night.

Crowd: SCW! SCW! SCW!

Jon Dough: So With that said I need to get ready for tonight.

The crowd starts cheering as New Low starts to play thru the speaker system. Jon Dough leaves the ring and starts walking up the ramp way while giving out as many high fives as he can.

The camera cuts back to Kenny.

I will say this of Jon Dough, he’s always supportive of his fellow SCW Superstars and that’s probably why the SCW Universe gets behind him the way that they do.

Pictures of ‘Big Tiger’ Jeremiah Hardin and Brother Grimm show up behind Kenny.

The roulette wheel was spun and it landed on what I consider to be the best gimmick match of all time; the ladder match. With ‘The Jersey Devil Diva’ Joanne Canelli on hand to watch them fight, both the current Roulette Champion Jeremiah Hardin and challenger Brother Grimm fought their way up the rungs and toward greatness, but in the end it was the creepy Grimm that grabbed the strap. This marks the first singles title in SCW for Brother Grimm. He had previously held the Tag Team Championships with Goth earlier in 2013. I have no doubt that we’ll see these two again in February and hopefully it will be every bit as good and entertaining as their first bout.

Pictures of JD Phoenix, Necra Octavian Kane, and Jessie Salco make their way to the screen.

In a classic palate cleanser before the main event, one Bombshell in particular looked great in what was one of the more entertaining bouts of the evening. Jessie Salco had boasted it was her time to make her run at another singles championship in Sin City Wrestling earlier in the week and unfortunately she started off on the wrong foot. The ‘Goddess of the Dead’ picked up the win when she was able to pin both Bombshells at the same time. Could this be the start of something good in 2014 for Necra? After a lengthy Roulette title run last year she has been pretty quiet. After this week I’d like to see more of her. On the exact opposite side of the spectrum, after what seemed like a promising start, JD Phoenix has been almost non-existent. Hopefully she’s able to turn it around in time for ‘My Bloody Valentine’ since I always hate to see potential wasted.

Pictures of Guns for Hire, Jon Dough and Aaron Matthews, and the Tag Team Championships come over the screen behind Kenny.

In the best bout of the evening the unlikely team of Jon Dough and Aaron Matthews defended their titles for the first time. Unfortunately, their lack of experience together was their downfall. Not to take anything away from either competitor but they just didn’t have that fluidity of teamwork that you saw with Guns for Hire. GFH picked up their first Tag Team Championship here in Sin City Wrestling and rounded out the THIRD title change of the evening. I’ve been a huge supporters of these guys since their debut in the old ACW and now that they are back, I consider them the premier tag team in SCW. It’ll be interesting to see how Tag Team title landscape shifts over the next couple of weeks. Will Jon Dough and Aaron Matthews get their rematch at ‘My Bloody Valentine’ or will the unlikely duo now go their separate ways. I can’t wait to find out!

The Newsreel logo comes on the screen behind Kenny as music begins to play

It’s time for my favorite part of ‘the Hotwire’…the Newsreel.

A picture of Misty comes over the screen behind Kenny.

The former ‘Queen of the Damned’ not only informed the SCW Universe that 2014 will be her last year with the company, but she also unveiled some pretty jazzy new theme music. The 3-time Bombshell Champion and sure-fire hall of famer will be greatly missed after she goes. There were some winds blowing backstage that she was in fact pregnant and her retirement announcement seemed a bit too sudden for something dramatic to not have happened. It would be highly unlikely for a pregnant Misty to still compete in the ring so I’ll have my eye on her this Sunday as she and Vixen prepare to defend their Bombshell Tag Team Championships against the Foshan Bombshells.

A picture of former SCW Heavyweight Champion Simon Jones shows up on the screen.

Simon Jones and his wife Jacqueline gave birth to a beautiful baby girl this passed Sunday. No word yet I believe as to her name but if I were Simon, I’d keep an extra lock on that nursery. Casey Williams already burned your house to the ground and I wouldn’t be surprised if he kidnapped your newborn baby…just saying…the dude is certifiable. I’m sure Jones is looking forward finally
putting this one to bed at ‘My Bloody Valentine’ but I’d be a little scared if I were him. Seriously….he burned his *BLEEP*ing house down.

Joanne Canelli comes up on the screen behind Kenny.

Rumors have been flying around that ‘The Jersey Devil Diva’ has been in talks with the families of the West Coast including Vegas about extending her connections out here. When reached for answers she New Jersey native had this to say…

"Yes I have been in talks with a few businesses here in Vegas but there are legit. I can't tell you who I've been talkin' to, but all you have to know is that this town needs me."

The FBI has been watching Miss Canelli for some time now but can't prove anything underhanded has been going on between her or any of the families from the West Coast. Hmmm…

A picture of Damien Kingston comes up on the screen.

Since losing his opportunity against SCW Heavyweight Champion Giani di Luca last month, Damien Kingston hasn’t been around. Even though the former Number One Contender was not booked last week or this upcoming week, he hasn’t remained quiet on twitter. All signs seem to be pointing toward Kingston making his second exit in four months. Hopefully this isn’t the case since I bet some money he’d be Champion by March.

Scott, Jasper, and Katu come up on the big screen.

Shortly after making their long awaited debut, the Saviors announced via Twitter that they were leaving? Really? All that talk from Scott Pandora and now nothing? Something smells fishy to me. They created a serious buzz in the locker room and on camera and I can’t imagine they’d be making an exit that quickly. This may be pro wrestling but come on…

Pictures of Ben Jordan and Drake Green show up behind Kenny.

’The Cockney King’ and ‘Mr. Showtime’ were seen gallivanting around the city of Reno, Nevada together this week which to me was sort of surprising. Ben had been vocal over the past few weeks about his feelings toward Green’s current stint as the ACW World Champion since he was the last person to hold that title and never lost it. Who knows? Maybe Mark Ward will roll out Jordan as his next mystery opponent.

The SCW logo fills the screen

There have been former stars a plenty rumored to be backstage at recent SCW events. Names like Brandi Shotze, Joshua Acquin, Bo Dreamwolf, and even Geno Jr have been thrown around. No idea if this has anything to do with the upcoming Blast from the Past mixed tag team tournament or not but it will certainly be interesting to see if any of these rumors are true.

Kenny take a random sip of scotch.

On the flip side of all of the old names, there are some new ones too. Michael Hardy and JT Starr officially signed their contracts last week and are set to debut on the main roster some time before ‘My Bloody Valentine’. There are rumors of more deals being imminent and that can only mean less on-screen time for some of SCW’s current talent. It will be curious to see if anyone gets the old fashioned ax in the coming weeks.

The ‘NXT’ logo appears behind Kenny.

Last but not least there have been some rumors that some unnamed members of NXT have some legitimate heat backstage with some of SCW’s brass. No word as of yet as to why but I will pay close attention to this story as it grows.

Music begins to play as the ‘Top 3’ logo comes over the screen.

We finish up today with everybody else’s favorite segment, the top 3…

Honorable Mention:

This week’s honorable mention is former SCW Roulette Champion, Kain. The King of Kings demonstrated just exactly why he is a force to be reckoned with in the Heavyweight title picture and the Laughlin crowd really responded to him beating the snot out of Eric Steel. The powers that be have to notice the ride that Kain has been on the past few weeks and this just might get him up to the top of the card this winter.

Number Three:

Number three this week goes out to the creepiest of creepers, Brother Grimm. The Grimmster was finally able to capture some singles gold and he did it in impression fashion. His spear of Jeremiah Hardin through the ladder was one of the highlights of the whole show and I’m uber excited to see what he can do with the strap, provided of course he can get through his rematch with ‘Big Tiger’ that no doubt will come at ‘My Bloody Valentine’.

Number Two:

You have to give props to Mercedes Vargas. She lost two consecutive brutal matches to Amy Marshall, her title defense and her rematch, and everyone thought Amy would be moving on to a new challenger. As luck may have it, Mercedes got an entry into a Number One Contender’s match and found herself back in the six-sided ring with Amy. In what was one of the more odd stipulations in while, Mercedes was able to put away Marshall and regain her Bombshell Roulette title in impressive fashion.

Number One:

Number one this week has to go out to my boys Ethan Brody and Landon Axel. Two matches back from their extended hiatus and they are crowned Tag Team Champions. The pair has been working together for years and it show in the ring. These guys are going to be tough to beat and I think we might finally have a team that can rival the lengthy run of the famous Sinful Obsession. I’m really looking forward to seeing what these guys can do to some of the teams around here like the Surf Boys, Team Jordan, and Carroll and Ringo.

’Ship to Shore’ begins to play again as the ‘Hotwire’ logo comes back up on the screen behind Kenny.

This has been the very first edition of ‘the Hotwire’. I hope you enjoyed it but if you didn’t…oh well. I’m sure the IWC will complain all about what I didn’t say anyway. Don’t miss next weeks show when recap all the action from the January 12th edition of Climax Control, including Misty and Vixen’s Bombshell Tag Team title defense against the Foshan Bombshell ands the reunion on ‘Blood Omen’, the team of Lucian Frost and Kain. I’m Kenny Chisholm and go the *BLEEP* away.

Kenny gives the camera a fist bump as the scene fades out.
