OOC:  Sorry about this lackluster rp but my mother-in-law has been in the hospital since going to the ER and not many questions have been answered from test, I am trying to be there for my wife as she has taken it hard because she just started a job and can't take time off yet. So I have been back and forth from work to hospital to home to make sure kids eat and do school work.

Joshua is seen on a beach relaxing.

Joshua: So Mark wants to make a match for this week's CC?  Putting me in a match with Felix?  With Ben on commentary.  I see it going down as such...Ben and Felix mouth off with one another and I am on the short end of this.  After the match, they have a staredown for some reason.  Mark, you have done this to me before.  I think I will focus on a title match I have coming up with Amy more than this match.  I have money down that this happens.

 I have been asked what I think of Amy and Jessie getting back together.  Then they add Vinnie.  That team of Amy and Jessie has had its ups and downs.  Then with Vinne, they become eligible for the mixed tag team championship.  The teams in that division better watch out because it is a three-headed fight.  If they play it right they can have teams wondering who they will face.  They will become the new London Underground.  The thing they could do is add me to the mix as well.  I am friendly with all three of them. I share my training center with them.  So in a roundabout way, I am an honorary member.  Enough about them I have been gone for three weeks dealing with personal issues.  I do have a family that needs my attention with my daughter graduating high school getting ready for college.  So that people know I am still with SCW, and they put me in a match this week against Malachi?  Who is this guy I know he got his bell rung by Fenris.  I am now in line to keep the welcome train going.  I have no issues doing that.  You say people beg for your forgivness? I will make you beg for me to stop because no matter how much you can dish out I am just above you on that scale.  I like to cause pain.  I like to make people bleed.  I hold no punches for anyone.  I have trained with hall of famers in SCW and I don’t even take it easy on them as I don’t expect them to take it easy on me.  Mark has asked me to train his niece and I even warned him about this.  I will tell you this, she may not look like she can do much but I am impressed with the things she is able to do.  But this week I have to focus on my opponent and beat him down.  I may have been gone for a few weeks and now I am back.

 Joshua is back in the locker room area after his loss and is getting prepared to leave the building when a stagehand finds him and hands him a piece of paper with his name on it.  Joshua reads what it says and just shakes his head.

Joshua: Well looks like I am getting screwed and going to have to beat Jon again.  Not only that a two fall out of three.

Joshua grabs his bag and goes to his waiting car.

Joshua is in his hotel room in Dublin sitting in a dark room.  He opens up Facebook and messages his wife.  She responds back with a shouldn’t you be in bed?  Joshua clicks to do a video chat.  The chat goes through

Joshua: Hi, sweetheart. I know I am supposed to be in bed however with the jetlag and other things keeping me up, I can’t sleep. They have booked me for next week.  I was planning on coming home and going to Madie’s softball games and taking her for her trips to colleges.  You have to take her to Austin for her visit to Texas, then to Arizona and Arizona State, then Nevada and back home to UNLV.

Tiff:  She was really looking forward to having you there.

Joshua sighs.

Joshua:  I know she was.  I am upset about it and on top of that, I have to get my LFL team ready for next season. I am one person not too happy about it.

Tiff: Is there any chance you will have to work a third week in a row?

Joshua:  With how they were with this I have no clue.  I am hoping that I don’t.  But there is Travis that has something out for me.  All because I call myself Mr. Sin City.  Hey I won that match at Full Circle and not my fault they haven’t made it a defendable title.  But I am hoping to be able to come home.

Maddie pops into the screen.

Maddie:  Hi dad, when you going to be home?  Shouldn’t you be flying back soon?

Joshua sighs.

Joshua:  I know I was supposed to be there this week however I have been set up with a match this week.  But I hope to be home the following week.  I want you to go and meet with the colleges and play your heart out.

Judas plays over the PA system in the SSE Arena.  Joshua comes out from the back and comes out to a mixed reaction.  From the way he is walking, he is on a mission.

Joshua:  Cut my music.  Jon, you have made a horrible mistake.  Not only have you messed with my plans but my family.  I know some are like so what.  How many of them are single?  My daughter is in line to go to college in two sports.  She is earning her way.  You want to have your revenge on me.  You have never beat me one on one.  You want two out of three falls.  That is a big mistake.  I am going to have fun.  I am going to hurt you.  I may win two nothing but I will get a third pin.  You have woken a giant in me.  You helped me break my event losing streak.  Now you are going to help me end my Climax Control streak.  I had a great party the night I beat you three weeks ago.  Now I am going to have another one here in Ireland.

Joshua paces.

Joshua:  Now there is a couple of issues going on other than this match out of nowhere.  I have open threats on me by my Blast from the Past partner with payback is a bitch.  Also the SCU general manager wanting to have his wrestlers get literally into my ass.  He then backtracked but still I feel threatened by that.  Now I have my lawyers looking into this and see if I can press charges against them.  Then there are the people that want to question my Hall of Fame claim.  True I may not have the best record here in SCW but I am going to tell you that if you take me out of the SCW it wouldn’t be the same.  I am the hardest working performer that is here in SCW.  I have got roughly 85 matches here in SCW.  I want to know who is close to me.  The ones that are still active here are in the Hall of Fame.  I have gone zero out of five since I have signed up for the event.  Am I bitter about not making it past the first round?  No I am not.  I will put it out there for you there are great teams out there and not everyone can win. Hell I passed out for the loss this year.  Where was my partner in this?  She could have cam in and broken up the hold.  I was the one doing most the work.  I hope you didn’t break a nail.  Tad, I hope I never bump into you because you talk a big game and don’t stand by your words.  You better have eyes in the back of your head at London Brawling because that is the only time our Home away from Home tour meets up.  Now I also have someone that goes by Mr. TNA claiming I am not Mr. Sin City.  Well at Full Circle I won the match that was to call the winner Mr Sin City so I am.  Too bad management hasn’t made the title of Mr. Sin City one that is defendable.  So until the time where I have to do that I am Mr Sin City.  Why not take and enjoy your time off in retirement.  That goes back to where I am better, I am the longest tenured wrestler here in SCW.

Joshua stops to think about what to say next.

Joshua:  Jon back to you.  I don’t care if I have to face you and your alter ego in this match I am going to make you sorry for making me miss things I have had planned for quite some time.  I may just let you get one fall on me so I can fight you for three falls.  Even if I beat you two nothing and you want more.  Come back out as Matt Spear and I will beat you twice more.  You have pissed me off that much.  See you in the ring Jonny boy.  I think you will regret asking for another match.

With that Joshua flips the microphone and goes to the back.

You know from time to time I make a mistake and I pay for it in the ring.  Take the last time I was in the ring was against the high flying Caleb Storms.  I needed to ground him and I didn't.  I paid for it with a loss, that was my 17th in a row.  People think I should hang up my boots and become a back stage person.  Nah I can't see myself doing that and not wrestle.  This week I find out I am up aginst him again and a third person.  Not only that but I have a great friend of mine going through some real shit with a relationship.  So pardon me for not being fully prepared for this match this week as I know some things are bigger than others.  That person is the one that I see as my sister, and I would do anything for her.  That's enough for now...

Joshua is sitting on his couch when he hears his daughter laughing in the other room.

Joshua: Maddie are you ok?

The laughing stops as Joshua walks over to the room.

Maddie: Yeah dad everything is OK.  You were in a band?

Joshua sighs as he sees that she dug up some DVDs that he thought wouldn't see the light of day.

Joshua: Still am with your aunt and uncles.

Maddie looked confused.

Maddie: Uncles I thought I only had Uncle Austin on your side.

Joshua sighs.

Joshua: I have an older half brother that is my father's wife son from when they fooled around before my mom and him had me.  It is kind of confusing.  Where Austin, Ashlynn, and myself went to wrestling, he went to singing.  We all started out the band as fun doing covers of Greenday, AC/DC, and Metalica.  We do newer stuff as well.  But he has his own thing and we get together to mess around with the band as it lets him destress from his main band.  Kinda like when I go into my wrestling school, it is a stress reliver as I don't need to worry about anything.

Vegas Golden Knights vs. Maple Leafs

Joshua is seen backstage in the tunnel of the home team Golden Knights as he is the guest of honor to drop the puck and an honorary captain.  As he and his wife are greeted by the team before they go down the hall of mirrors, Joshua is given a jersey with his name on it and a C.  He puts it on and waits for them to go down the hall to warm up.  Judas hits the PA system as Joshua is announced to the crowd as they cheer him as he walks out onto the ice toward the center circle.  When he gets there to drop the puck he is stopped by one of the players and takes a picture with him.  Joshua continues toward the center and drops the puck and then shakes hands and takes a picture with the captians and then the referees and linemen.  He then has players giving him items to sign when he gets back to the bench area before he goes up to his suite.

Tiffiny:  It looked like you were having fun down there.

Joshua is smiling

Joshua:  Come on sweetheart you know I have to play it up like that and besides I am up here with you when I was asked to stay down there.  But I had to tell them no I am going to be here with the most beautiful woman in the world.

Joshua is seen in the SCW ring.

Joshua: This week I have had to deal with quite a bit.  I have a friend going through quite a bit in her personal life and I am there for her.  I have been thrown into a match that will determine who will face the champion at the next super card.  I want to make it clear that I could care less about that match at this current time.  I am not saying I will not take it if I win this week's match because I don't lay down for anyone.

 OOC: Busy week this week before my wife has surgery

Joshua is seen in his living room sitting on his couch next to a Christmas tree holding a gift.

Joshua: Welcome to my home SCW fans.  This is a great time of year in my household.  It is a time where we reflect on what we have and a close to the year.  This year I have received a gift from SCW management in the form of a match with an up and comer they say.  The guy’s name is Slappy McGoo, what the heck kind of name is that?  Is he in cahoots with Steve McGee?  Just when I think they have reached the bottom of the barrel they ask us to hold their beer while management scours the globe for a person they want to put out because of their name.”

Joshua thinks for a moment

Joshua:  So SCW has given the fans a gift of a SCW show before Christmas.  But this time of year we need to look back due to the fact that the SCW doors shut the first month.  Last match before it shut down at Full Circle I won a match that made me Mister Sin City. Then I made some choices that wasn’t receptive as I would have thought in this country that I love and live in.  Then for the past few months I have been loss without a direction.  My LFL team is doing great this year after I have moved it from Phoenix to Las Vegas.  I am grateful for my wife, she has stood by me through all I have done.  Now I haven’t done her wrong but it hasn’t been easy to watch me this year.  She found out what happens backstage when I had cuts and recently, I had a dislocated shoulder.  Also people want to know how my daughter is doing in all her training and I can say this she is where she should be and is working toward a debut maybe even in 2019, but I wouldn’t get my hopes high for it.  So this year is closing out and it has had its ups and downs but I am going to end on a good note and I will continue onto 2019.

Joshua is seen in the ring in Reno.  He paces the ring as his theme play out.  He puts the microphone to his mouth.

Joshua:  Ladies and gentlemen I am Joshua Acquin, Mister Sin City.  This week I face someone that Christian signed.  Seems like he finds them from the circus.  Maybe even down on the Las Vegas Strip.  But I will face anyone that the bosses put in front of me.  I have ended a few wrestlers career here in SCW.  This is the end of a horrid year for me.  Started off great but then I aligned myself with Jessie Salco which damaged me in the ring.  I support her freedom of speech; however people didn’t like that I did.  Then the biggest thing that happened in SCW is the merger with Honor Wrestling and opening another show.  SCW is growing at a great pace.  

Joshua paces.

Joshua:  If I had a chance to do it again I would probably not stand by her but support her from the shadows.  But this week I am focused on Slappy.  That is going to be my nickname after I am done with him the will call me Slappy Joshua.  I will give him a great SCW welcome and will help him out when I am done and winning the match.

 Joshua is seen at his home at a desk when his brother walks in.

Austin: What were you thinking making that deal with Christian.  The man hates your guts.

Joshua: You know something I spoke before I fully thought, but I couldn’t let something like that go.  The way Jessie had screwed over Amy and then he has the gul to say that Amy did it to herself? No she didn’t I would hate to break it to him.

Austin: Were you willing to give up championships like you said.

Joshua sighs.

Joshua: Yes I am willing to do that.  She is like my sister.

Ashlynn walks up and smacks him playfully in the back of the head.

Ashlynn: Hey I am right here.

Joshua: Of course she could never take place of my sister.  The thing is for about a month it seems like Jessie has gone off the deep end.  She has crossed a line I have.

Austin: So what do you think will happen if Amy losses?

Joshua shakes his head.

Joshua: I have no idea and it is getting to my sleep schedule.  I have barely slept last couple days thinking what it could be. Hell people think my mind is twisted but him? But anyway now I have upset Amy with all this so I am having to smooth this over.

Joshua is seen behind a podium that has a cover over the front.

Joshua: Ladies and gentlemen I am Joshua Acquin and I have brought you here today to announce big news in the e-LFL.  As you know I am the owner of a team in the league and Las Vegas lost their team.  But I am here to state that I am moving my team from Phoenix to Las Vegas and will be known here out as the Las Vegas Bandits.

Joshua takes down the cloth covering the team logo for the Las Vegas Bandits.

Joshua: Why did I do this?  Where I live, Las Vegas, is a hopping city for sports.  We have the Golden Knights, we are getting the Raiders in town, we have the WNBA’s Aces.  So as you see we arebecoming a city that can support big leauge teams and the Bandits will add to that.  With that said we will be still having some of our events in Phoenix.  We will be having our training camps there.  The players are ready for next season to start andso am I.

Jekyll and Hyde by Five Finger Death Puch plays over the PA as Joshua walks out from the back and heads to the ring.  In a change of character he stops to take a couple pictures with the fans on the way.  Once in the ring he grabs a microphone.

Joshua: Wow it has been quite a week.  I could have my fate sealed by Amy if she loses.  I have hardly had any sleep since my meeting.  But I would do it again because it is the right thing to do and whatever the outcome I am willing to take whatever the bosses can dish out.  I want to know what it is since it could be as simple as I am fired or I have to be his servant for the rest of the year.  I have no idea what is going through his mind.

Joshua paces the ring.

Joshua: So I have a match this week against Ty West.  Climax Control 212 I faced him in this ring.  People will say that I lost the match.  I never lost the match I passed out so for them to call it a submission is crap.  This week Ty I get my payback and I will make him tap out.  I am a wrestler that most have hated but now you are all confused to why I am acting like I am.  Did I get hit in the head a little to many times over the years?  No I have seen how Jessie has let Amy get in her head, and how that is affecting her well being.  She is so fixed on winning at any means and if she couldn’t have a championship Amy couldn’t as well.  I saw that and now I had to make a choice of keepingon following her or make a stand and let her know the one person that stood by her in this ring is now not there for her.  I am sorry Jessie but Amy and I are friends and it seems like you can keep business and friend separate.

Joshua stops himself.

Joshua: There I go I am getting off topic.  This week I am up agist a person whom I lost to on a technicality were I was unable to tap or be pinned.  This week we finish what we had started back then.  Now I know what to expect from him and this week I will have an easy time aginst Ty.

 OOC: I didn't see myself on the card and didn't check through the week till today.  I had a test today and I am drained but didn't want to no show.

“Card is subject to change?  I was told that I wouldn’t have a match this week and Mark and Christian said that was in stone.  It is another way for them to punish me for me siding with Jessie and they are trying to wash us out of SCW.  I will tell you all something, I may have had to come here when I was on another business venture.  But no matter what they will not get to me.  This week they have put me in a ring with one of the hottest starts out here in SCW right now.  Am I worried, no I will do the same thing for any other person I go up against here in SCW.   I will take Ty around this ring as I have others.  As for the Hellraisers, we are still going to raise hell and be a thorn in the side of Mark and Christian.  Be ready for some changes.  You never know when or where we will turn up.  But for my opponent this week I will take him and I will hurt him.  I enjoy making each and every one of you squirm in your seats, to have this ring red with the blood from the beating my opponent till he bleeds.”

Joshua walks around the ring.

“Now for the people worried about me beating the women on the cruise ship.  Don’t worry I already got my talking to from management which is why I think they are putting me in this match.   In my contract, it states that I am to be asked before I am put into a match.  But you know they like to make the rules as they go.  Next thing you know this match will be a match if I win I get a title shot, but then they will cry foul when I do and say they didn’t mean it.  Now for Jessie, I am sorry that you have to be a maid for Amy.  Jessie, it is a way for them to get to you and have you quit.  Mark and Christian don’t want us here in SCW because we are a thorn in the side of them because we speak our mind and they don’t like how they can’t control us.”

Joshua is seen backstage walking as he is stopped by Pussy Willow wanting to ask a few questions.


“Ladies and Gentlemen I am here with Joshua Acquin.  Tough loss this week and going out in the first round again this year.  How do you feel about the loss?”


Joshua shakes his head at Ms. Willow.


“How do I feel about the loss?  That is the leading question you have for me?  I hate taking a loss but losing in the first round stings.  I know how I feel and I can only guess how Jessie feels about the loss.  But I know that we both will bounce back.  I know I am here in SCW long term and Jessie is going between SCW and Honor Wrestling, but I think we will be seeing her more here.  She has unfinished business and tonight just added to it.”


“So since Jessie took the loss do you blame her for the loss?”


“That’s a funny question because this is a team where no blame on one person cannot be blamed.”


“What is next for you in SCW?”



“Well there is that championship that just was vacated.  Looking around I am really the only one here in SCW that deserves it.  So Mark and Christian I am telling you to make the right choice and not have a match to decide the next SCW Roulette Champion.  Just hand it over to me.  That is what I deserve more than anyone else here in SCW.  Come on I am a two time SCW Tag Team Champion.  I am also Mr. Sin City.  That is more than most of the people here in SCW that were knocked out this round.”


“Thank you for your time Joshua.”

Joshua is seen on his couch watching TV when his daughter walks into the room and sits next to him.


“Hey sweetheart what’s going on?”


“Nothing at all dad.”


“Homework done?”


“Of course.”


“It seems like you want something from me.  You have your driver’s license, but you can’t drive my car.”


“No not that dad.  I want to become a wrestler like you.”


Joshua sighs at the thought of his daughter becoming a wrestler.  But he doesn’t want to stop her dreams.


“Alright I have some rules.  First you will not be in a match till you are 18.  You will be in a training environment till then.  Second I will be your head trainer and people I will appoint to you will also be a trainer for you. Third you will need to know that you may get hurt and that is not my intentions but if I am going to train you, I don’t hold back because I go by if women want to do this they have to be willing to go all out.  Now if you are hurt or close I will stop because that is not my intention to hurt anyone in training.  You still want to do it?”


Madison thinks about what her dad said.


“Alright I can do that dad.  When do we start?”


“Well let me change into some gym stuff and you should do the same so we can get working.  I will also make some calls and we will head down to the school.”

Joshua parks his BMW outside and opens the trunk and grabs his bag out of it and walks in with his daughter carrying her bag.


“Meet me in the weight room I need to do some things in my office real fast”


With that Joshua walks into his office.  Sitting in his office was his brother and sister.  Joshua gives them both a hug and sits with them.


“Thanks for coming down today.  Madi wants to be a wrestler like I am.  I told her she had to do it my way more or less.  I want her to go through the training before we think about her having a match.”


“Joshua are you worried about her getting hurt?  Look at me I am your little sister and I haven’t been hurt yet.”


“Very funny Ash.  The thing is I don’t know if she is doing this and wants to do it or what.  I was trying to get Amy down here but she is busy today.  So I am having you two here to help me.  Train her properly.  But at the same time I don’t want it to be easy for her.  I have seen a lot of second generation stars get there on there fathers or mothers and fall flat when they can’t perform.  So we are going to go through and help her out but not hinder her.”


The three are in agreement with what has been said.  They head out of the office and into the weight room where Madison is waiting for them.


“Madi you know your uncle and aunt.  They are going to help me when I am not here.  I was going to have another friend of mine that you know.  She is out of town right now.  So we are going to lift some weights and then later we will hit the ring and do some work there.  Then we will finish up with some cardio.”


After they get done with weightlifting they go to the ring.  Joshua and Austin get into the ring.


“Now we are going to start easy today Austin and I are going to show you some basic moves and we will go from there.”


They go over moves and for an hour they work in the ring.  When they get done with that they go to the treadmill and Joshua straps on a elevation training mask and looks over at his daughter getting ready to run.


“Dad what is that thing you are wearing?”


Joshua thinks for a minute before speaking.


“It’s the latest fashion trend.”


Joshua laughs at the joke as his daughter rolls her eyes.


“Madi it is for training and help with stamina.  It is a elevation mask, it restricts the flow to simulate a higher altitude and until I see where you are in that aspect I am not going to make you wear one.  I need one to keep in tip top shape.”


Joshua starts up his treadmill and starts running.  After about 30 minutes of running Joshua hops off and starts to stretch along with his daughter.  Joshua goes to the locker room and directs his daughter to the female locker room.  After changing Joshua heads to the office where his brother and sister are sitting waiting for him.


Austin speaks first to Joshua.


“Joshua I got to ask with SCW back how much time are you going to have for this and your LFL team?”


“Austin I have a team of people with the Burn to help run that.  As far as here I have you two whom I trust can train her.”


“You think Ash and I can train her?  What about our lives?”


“Guys you two will have lives.  I have other friends that can come in and do a session with her.  But I am also thinking this is a fad.”


“Alright I know I am willing to do it and I am sure Ash is as well.  Don’t think we will take it easy on her.”


“I wouldn’t expect for you too.”


Ashlynn nods her head in approval as Austin walks out of the room.


“Ash I have to ask since you have worked and wrestled how does Madi look?”


Ashlynn thinks about what she is going to say and begins to speak.


“Joshua she is good for her age.  Strong as an ox, but she can work on getting her stamina up.  You can tell she is a  rookie.  But give me time with her and she will give you a run for your money.”


Joshua and Ashlynn share a laugh at the thought.


“Anyway Joshua where is my invite to your guys wedding?”


Joshua goes to his desk and pulls out an envelope that has Ashlynn’s name on it.


“You know how I am with mailing things out.  But I will tell you I sent them out within the last week so you are probably one of the first to get this.”


Austin walks back into the room .


“Joshua what is this that you have a championship match this week?  I thought you said you talked to them about giving it to you.”


Joshua laughs.


“You know I have to hand it to them they are business first and they had their eyes out to get the best ratings they can.  However putting a rookie in this match in his first match is bullshit.  I work hard for the company and they seem to put everything against me so I can’t win any singles gold.”


“Yeah it seems weird that it is a ladder match.”


“It doesn’t matter I will be the next SCW Roulette Champion.”

“This is Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.  This is Steve and I am here with the LFL Phoenix Burn owner Joshua Acquin.  Joshua last week the Burn took their first loss of the season, putting them at 2-1 on this young season.  This week they are back home and playing the Denver Diva’s how do you feel about the chances for a bounce back?”


“First off thank you for having me on your show.  Secondly your question you asked is a question that you know the answer for.  I feel pretty great that we will win.  We just had a couple of bad turnovers in Baltimore and we have worked this week on those issues.”


“Now Joshua for the casual sports fan they may not have heard about the LFL.  What do you have to say to those people?”


“You know what Steve I tell them, think about arena football but with women.”

“Ok another thing that some fans have an issue with is the uniforms for the players.  It is basically bras and panties out there.  How do you feel about that?”


“Well I am one of the few owners that have put in to have the uniforms changed.  I want to see them in more of a leggings, or yoga pants.  Then have a top kind of along the lines of a football jersey and more padding.  I want to prevent injuries and let the players have longer careers.”


“So I know some teams do giveaways at the game.  Are you going to have any?”


“This week we are going to have  dollar beer night where all beer is a dollar per cup.”


“Are these cups small ones to bring us in?”


“No I hate when people do that.  They will be the full size beer cups and it goes until the fourth quarter of the game.”


“Very well.  Well thank you for being here today Joshua.  Good luck the rest of the season.”

“Jekyll and Hyde” by Five Finger Death Punch hits the PA system as Joshua comes out on stage slowly making his way to the ring.  The fans boo him as he taunts them going down the ramp.  Once he gets to the ring he gets on the turnbuckle and taunts them more.  Joshua goes to the edge of the ring and motions for a microphone.


“So Mark and Christian have decided not to hand me the SCW Roulette Championship.  They want to make a match.  Not just any type of match, they are going against what the roulette division is with matches. When was the wheel spun for a ladder match?  I have seen that wheel and I know that space for the ladder match is so small it never hits.  So now we are to believe that this spin it came up?”


Joshua paces in the ring.


“Let's look who I am in this match with.  We have the veteran Chris Crippler.  Who in the first round made such a disappointing showing they gave Amy Mars...I mean Santino a new partner.  Now they are giving him this championship match?  Now yes I did lose but I had a great showing.  Seems like they are willing to give anyone a championship match here.  Then we have the butcher of the english language Quinton Cross.  My goodness get this man a dictionary for his birthday.  This man butchers the english language so bad people’s ears bleed.  I don’t know what’s worse a person speaking from New York or him talking.  Then we fill out the match with rookies?  I think that with some it is their second match here in SCW, maybe ever.  Caleb Storm I am going to have to put a warning out for.  It will be my own storm warning, you will be grounded so your high flying shit will not happen.  I will hurt you so you can’t climb that ladder.  Nick Steen you are in your third match out of wrestling school.  Seems like a nice guy but his volume control needs some work.  You can’t go around yelling and screaming every 2.3 seconds.  I think when Caleb gave you that blue thunder bomb might have knock some more things loose on you.  Ty West welcome to your second match here and here is your championship match.  Where is the coming up and earning your championship matches?  I love how people come here and within their first two matches they have a championship match.  I am going to enjoy hurting the rookies in this match.”


Joshua stops to think what to say.


“Chris let's take the others out of this match early and we can decide between us who will get this championship.  I see you more deserving than the other three in match.  We have faced off before and on that night I drew the short straw and loss.  This time I am going to be the one climbing the ladder and unhooking that championship.  When that happens that championship will have a nice long run on me.  I will be the 36th SCW Roulette Championship.  Let me put it to you this way I will hold the Roulette Championship for a record breaking 155 days to break a two way tie.  That will be September 28, two days from my birthday.  This will be a great birthday present.  So I am going to break the current record held by Equinox and Goth.  True I loss to Equinox’s team in the Blast From the Past. But that was a miscommunication between my partner and myself.  I have read where I have blamed Jessie for the loss when that is the furthest thing from the truth.  It is a team event and we win as a team and we lose as a team.”


Joshua paces in the ring.


“Some people have also said I should be Amy’s replacement partner.  I am going to say I was upset when they didn’t choose me to replace Chris.  But after I thought about it, Wyatt is one hell of a talent here in SCW.  But this Sunday I am going to climb the ladder and become the new SCW Roulette Champion.  I will hold it and make it mean something to hold it here in SCW.”


“Jekyll and Hyde” hits the PA as Joshua rolls out of the ring and walks to the back laughing as fans boo at him.

 OOC: I had alot of ideas but couldn't get them down on paper.

“Yeah I lost last week.  It was a fluke and I shouldn’t have lost I should have won due to interference by his tag partner.  But you know that is one thing that I loved to take advantage of as well when I had a tag partner.  Even during the match I bend the rules some.  That’s knowing your rule book.  So now for #200 I don’t have the match I requested.  Am I mad?  Yes I am but I still have a match against someone that has been looking in from the outside and now that SCW is closing wants to make a name and say he wrestled here in SCW?  Give me a break that's like being the backup quarterback on the Super Bowl winning team and getting a ring and getting that added to your resume.  Now this week this newcomer wants to be welcomed to SCW.  I will do that my way.  Kind of like that Frank Sinatra song I did it my way.  Now you may ask yourself what does the Acquin way of welcoming entail?  I have been a veteran here in SCW for quite some time.  I was in the first match to decide who the very first SCW Internet champion was.  That was a masterpiece of a match.  After that the management puts me into matches against folks coming in thinking they would get an easy win over me?  I don’t like putting new talent over on me.  If you get a win on me it is because you worked your ass off during the match and not just handed to you.”

Joshua walks around the ring.

“I am the bar to test new folks coming into SCW.  Some I have beat down and injured them and we never see them again.  Some have beat me and they contended for gold here in SCW.  The thing is management looks upon me so well that they use me to test the new folks.  They have also given the direction to me to make sure they are SCW quality.  So in a sense I am like the old training federation for SCW.  I think it was ASW.  Anyway after it shut down they needed to have a way to test new guys and they saw what I was able to do and the management came and talked to me to test the rookies.”

Joshua thinks about what he is going to say next.

“People out there want to know what Joshua is going to do next.  Funny thing is that even I don’t know what I am going to do.  Am I going to retire?  I don’t know.  The thing I know is that I am going to look at all my options.  Would I like to work with the folks here in SCW?  Hell yes I would.  I enjoy the interactions I have had here.  I would love to see a reunion show mabe quartley.  Maybe a Blast from the Past.  Those were fun matches that would break up the normal matches we have here.  Not saying the normal matches are bad, just saying that in a normal tag match you are not forced to tag out when the other team tags out.  You get to know how to help others out in the tournament.  But at the end of the day I know Mark and Chris have our best interest, they could let it die a slow and grueling death and then one day we are all out of work.  But they have done the class thing and have gone to other companies to find us home.”

 DING DING DING

Joshua reached the edge of the ring not enough to be counted in and the match ended in a double count out.  He hangs his head and slaps the mat in frustration.  He looks over at Samuel McPherson and for a minute you can tell Joshua is thinking of attacking him as the official in the match is telling him to go to the back.  Joshua puts his arms up and walks to the back.

On the other side of the curtain is Pussy Willow with a microphone in hand.  She runs up next to Joshua as you can tell he was trying to avoid her.  Joshua looks down at her as she starts to talk.

“Joshua tonight you went to a double count out with Samuel McPherson.  How do you feel on a draw?”

Joshua looks even more annoyed than before.

“How do you think I feel.  I go out there everyday to win.  Drawing with someone is like losing.  It’s like kissing your sister, thank goodness, we are not in Alabama or else we would have people expecting people to do that.  But honestly, I would rather lose than get a good game or a participation award.  That’s what is wrong with the generation I am part of.  By my birth year 1982 I am a millennial, but in my work ethic and such I am a generation X.  That’s why I want to face Samuel again but this time make it a no count out to avoid this mess and have a winner.  If you don’t mind I need to get out of here.”

With that Joshua bushes past and goes to the locker room area.

Joshua is at his home sitting on the couch watching football when Sonia comes and sits next to him and changes the channel.

“Really are you going to do that when I am watching a game?”

“It’s the same thing the run into each other and try to score a touchdown.  Besides my show is on.”

Joshua shakes his head.

“Out of all the TVs in this house you have to change the one I am watching?”

“Yep I do and what are you going to do about it?”

Sonia sticks her tongue out at Joshua.  Joshua goes over to her and puts her over his shoulder and takes her to the bedroom and throws her on the bed and acts like he is pining her.

“One…Two…Three.  Ding ding ding Joshua wins the remote back.”

Sonia laughs.

“Okay you win.  You know Joshua I still haven’t gotten my dress for your friend’s wedding.  I think her name is Amy.  Anyway when can I do that?”

“Sweetheart you can do that at any time you would like.  You should take Maddi with you and both get dresses for it.  As for me I already have my suit and tie for it?”

“What about a gift?”

“I have already thought of  a big gift for them.  One they will enjoy, but you are more than welcome to get one for her since you probably know what women like more than I do.”

Joshua hugs Sonia and goes to leave the room.

“So what car can I take Joshua?”

“Take whatever car you would like we need to go shopping for your own car soon.”

Joshua leave the room and walks back to the couch, looks at his watch, and changes it back to the football game he was watching.

Joshua is in his gym at his house along with his brother Austin going through a workout.  Madison walks into the gym.

“Hey dad, hey Uncle Austin.”

Joshua goes over and tries to give her a hug.

“Ew dad you are all sweaty from working out.”

“I thought that’s what you were coming down here to do.”

“Yeah but I don’t want your sweat on me, ew what are you thinking.”

Joshua goes over to a notebook on the table and looks through it.

“Alright sweetheart you are working upper body today so that is bench press, inclinced press, and all the others that we went over.  Need me to set up anything for you?”
Madison walks over to the bench press and starts to take the weight off that was on there.  Joshua walks over and helps her out.

“How much did you want on?”

“I want a 45lb plate on each side.”

Joshua puts the weight on for her.

“Alright you ready to lift 135 today.  That would be a record for you.”

Madison gets into position and Joshua spots her as she starts to lift it.  He counts out the rep she is on.

“Eight…Nine…Ten, your good to rack it and take a break good job sweetheart.”

She racks it and lays on the bench.  Joshua can sense something is wrong with how she has been since she stepped into the gym.

“Is something wrong sweetheart?”

Madison sighs and sits up.

“There is a boy that is giving me a hard time at school and won’t leave me alone even
though I have shown no interest in him.  I have told him no and now he is coming here he said.  I don’t want him to see me I don’t like him, he isn’t even my friend.”

Joshua shakes his head and sits on the bench next to her.

“Alright I will take care of this.  Thank you for telling me I have to make a couple calls one to the gate guard and one to the school.”

Joshua gets up and as he does Madison says more.

“Also dad can I get my nose pierced?”

“Ask your mom I know these games.”

Joshua walks out of the room and Austin follows suit.

“What are you going to do Joshua?”

“Oh I think I am going to scare this boy when he comes here and I think her issues will over with him.”

Joshua is seen behind a podium that has his hockey team logo on it.

“Ladies and gentlemen as you know this season the Las Vegas Wranglers have gone dark this season to give the NHL’s newest team the Vegas Golden Knights the ability to be showcased during this time the players under a direct contract with the wrangler will have their normal salary and we still maintain the rights to them after this year.”

Joshua clears his throat.

“With that we will also be pulling out of the ECHL since they have focused more on central and eastern parts of the US.  I will be forming a new league that will be at the same level as the ECHL.  As of now we do have some teams that we have played against and some we haven’t.  I can tell you a few of the teams.  We will have the Alaska Aces, who were a team we played in the ECHL that were moved by the ECHL to the east coast.  We had some great games with them before and hope we can maintain the great games next year.  Ontario Reign will be another team that we will bring back with the new league, Arizona Sundogs will make a comeback.  The San Diego Gulls will be coming back after a 12 year ceasing of operations.  A team that folded during a season will come back, that team is the San Francisco Bulls.  Also we will have the Stockton Thunder coming back as well.  That is the teams that we have snagged we are in talks with other locations and teams to get them to come to our league.  My goal for this league of course is to develop players but on top of that give the fans of hockey a place to watch a game and not have to save up for a huge ticket price.  I would like to have a family of four be able to go to the game get food and drinks and spend less than 50 dollars.”

Joshua takes a sip of water before continuing.

“Now would we be in competition with the ECHL.  The short answer is yes we would be.  What I would hope is to have this league be able to compete and maybe have some cross league games.  How will this affect the NHL with choosing a minor league team?  I hope to get all the teams in the league a NHL parent team and none to the ECHL.  Am I bitter about how they are moving more to the east?  Hell yes I am I think it makes more sense to have teams all over to spread the love on hokey as well as with other sports out there.”

Joshua is backstage before he goes out to the ring when a SCW reporter comes up and asks him a question.

“Joshua why do you still wear Vegas Strong stuff now?”
Joshua looks at the person and shakes his head as in disbelieve.
“Now as you see on my arm I still have a Vegas Strong armband.  I think people may have forgot about this but I will tell you something.  That the week following the mass shooting in Vegas, we came together as a city and people that wouldn’t be together normally came together.  I have donated my own money to the victims of the attack.  I must say that SCW themselves have donated quite a bit to the cause.  But I wear this band every match I am in because I want to remember how it brought our city together.  I know it is just a saying but we are Vegas Strong.  We are a city that is still healing and stars like the ones here in SCW get to put on a show to help people out during that time.  I want to tell you who the real heroes are.  They are the ones who are going the opposite way of people trying to get out of harm’s way.  They are the ones who risk their lives for us all.  They are the ones who hug and kiss their spouses and they don’t know if they will be home.  Am I a hero?  No I am far from it, I am an entertainer that people want to look up to.  To that I say please don’t look up to me as your hero, go find your policeman, firefighter, medical staff, or your military service members.  I am one that goes out of my way to thank people like that.  It takes them by surprise when I do stuff for them that they see me here in SCW as a character and not who I really am.  That’s why I am still wearing this Vegas Strong stuff.

Nightmare hits the PA and Joshua comes out from the back.  He is wearing jeans and a black Vegas Strong shirt.

“I know, I know.  I said the Nightmare era was over but this week I need to tap into that.  Thank goodness, we are not forced to wear mask.  I wish we would stay in the black and white era though because there will be blood in this no holds barred match.  I can take Samuel and take him from one corner to another beating the shit out of him.  I can take him up on that ramp and smash his face into it.  I have faced bigger opponents and have won.  I will show everyone here in Tucson Arizona that I am a winner.  When I was growing up I learned how to say Tucson by saying tuck-son and it stuck.  I have had a great time here in Tucson.  I have friends that live here so I have been out an about.  Even here on the U of A campus I saw the Arizona State Museum.  The best is climbing on Mount Lemmon that towers over Tucson.  Enough on that this week I will finish what I started two weeks ago.  This time it is in a match that has to have a winner.  The hopefully I can close the Nightmare era on a high note.”
