Three weeks ago Harper did what many thought would never happen, she dethroned Victoria Lyons and won the Bombshell Roulette Championship from her on the cruise! But with her first challenger Alicia Lukas lurking on the horizon she finds herself lost in thought as she films her first promo for the upcoming Clash of the Champions match in Mykonos, Greece.

”It’s been what? Three weeks since I defied everyone’s expectations? Twenty one days since I ended the tyranny of Queen Victoria over the Bombshell Roulette Division? And yet, it still doesn’t feel real.” Harper stated as she looked at her Bombshell Roulette Championship which was currently sitting on her lap while she sat on a crate. ”Two long years, many, many, many attempts and heartbreaks later? I finally have my first championship belt in SCW.

Off course, the question that lingers on every new champion’s mind when they win it is this: who is up first?” Harper added as she rested the title over her shoulder. ”First challenger? First opponent since willing the gold, hell, even your first interviewer as champion, those thoughts have a way of sneaking up on you no matter how long you’ve been in the game! Now, at the start of the cycle Alicia Lukas won the right to challenge me at Violent Conduct, but that’s not the match I’m talking about.”

Harper added as she stood up, holding her title proudly.

”Believe me, I’ll get to the rematch with Alicia soon, hell I gave you guys a preview of some of my talking points for her earlier, but next week in Mykonos? I’m facing someone else who shocked the SCW Universe this year.” Harper states as she folds her arms. ”Just for completely different reasons, many had written off Mercedes Vargas as a spent force who was basically trotted out whenever the bosses needed a challenger for one of the Bombshell Division’s titles and pretty much everyone expects her to fail.

Except when it came to Into the Void in Paris back in May when Mercedes won the Bombshell Internet Championship from Bella Madison.” Harper states as she brushes some hair over her shoulder. ”Since then? She’s been aligned with Crystal Caldwell in her latest search for relevance and she even lost the title to Lillith Locke at Summer XXXTreme.”

Harper shakes her head.

”The fact that this match is being advertised as  Clash of the Champions match should tell you everything: it didn’t take Mercedes long to win the title back with Crystal’s help! Now she and Lilith are set to face off in a Falls Count Anywhere Match for the title at Violent Conduct but before that?” Harper smirks as she pats her title. ”We’re dusting off our old rivalry from my first few months as an SCW Bombshell.

What’s the old saying Mercy?” Harper asked before immediately answering. ”Harper beat me once? Shame on you, Harper beat me twice? Shame on me, Harper beat me three times? Shame on Mercedes and her delusions of relevancy!”

Harper’s Hotel Room, Mykonos, Greece
Wednesday the 13th of August 2025, 16:00pm

Harper was now in Greece and while she had been enjoying her time in Mykonos her looming first match as champion is weighing on her mind, especially knowing that the woman who brought her into SCW in the first place was going to be in attendance.

”So Wrestleleague finally cleared you and Josh to show up for SCW while I’m the Bombshell Roulette Champion right as I’m about to have my first match s champion.” Harper commented as she ran a hand through her hair and Jessie nodded on the other end of the video call. ”You think they were waiting for that match to be booked or something?”

”After all I’m seen in the seventeen odd years that I’ve been in this business? I’m not really sure what to think.” Jessie responded as she shook her head and Harper nodded as she got the idea. ”And you’re facing Mercedes for the first time since December 2 Dismember.”

”Just to check but you don’t have any surprise pregnancies this time around, right?” Harper asked and while it was a rather dark joke as Jessie had collapsed during a training session for the previous match between Harper and Mercedes and that was how Jessie’s pregnancy had been discovered? They were still able to laugh about  it. ”I gotta check Jess, that was one of the scariest moments of my life!”

”I know, I know, and trust me, it wasn’t any less scary on my end.” Jessie admitted as she shook her head. ”Look, I could take a pregnancy test if it makes you feel any better Harper but me and Shane haven’t had sex since I gave birth to April last year and I don’t sleep around as much as I did in my younger years, trust me, we’re good on that front!”

”That’s a relief.” Harper commented before shaking her head. ”Though pregnancy tests aren’t always accurate, false positives can still happen.”

”True enough, but trust me, the only way there’s going to be another Salco kid in the world is if Shane was cheating on me.” Jessie responded as she shook her head and Harper nodded. ”And if that was the case? I may or may not bury him under the Home Gym.”

”Classic lawyer response right there! Guess being a mom didn’t loosen your temper that much.” Harper joked and Jessie just grinned. ”Anyway, something seems to have lit a fire under Mercedes’s ass this year because she’s not only won the Bombshell Internet Title but she’s won it twice! Though the second time around was with help from Crystal.”

”Two of my least favourite people on the SCW Roster joining forces, if I were still on the roster as a Bombshell my blood pleasure would be through the fucking roof.” Jessie grunted as she shook her head. ”Look, fire under her ass or not? Mercedes is still the same old bitch she always was, tainted title wins will not change that! Be wary of Crystal and basically worry about out wrestling her.”

”Both of which are a lot easier said than done.” Harper sighed as she ran a hand through her hair. ”So what’s the plan for Sunday? I know Wrestleleague’s show is at Dodge City, Kansas.”

”Me and Josh will be catching a connecting flight to Mykonos first thing Sunday Morning with a layover in Madrid.” Jessie explained and Harper nodded as she got the idea. ”We’ll meet you and Cass at the hotel, just bear in mind that we’ll be sore and tired from our respective matches.”

”I get it, don’t worry, and hay, the tenth year anniversary of your wedding to Shane has just gone, maybe this will be an anniversary gift of some kind.” Harper commented and Jessie groaned. ”Bones aching because you just remembered that it’s been ten years since you got married?”

”Yep! And it still lasted longer than a lot of marriages in this sport!” Jessie responded with a slight laugh. ”See you Sunday Harp.” Jessie added before hanging up.

We cut to Harper’s hotel room again, this time for her second vlog about the match against Mercedes.

”It’s kinda funny in a way, ain’t it? My first SCW Supercard Cycle as a champion and it’s on a tour themed around partying, yet I’ve never been that much of a party girl!” Harper commented with a slight laugh as she propped the Bombshell Roulette Championship on her computer desk right in view of the laptop’s webcam. ”While my friends were out partying, I was studying, while me friends were off getting knocked up or drunk or both, I was training to be the best athlete I can be.

They called me a loser yet I’m the one traveling the world with SCW while they are stuck at a McDonalds, funny huh?” Harper added before shaking her head. ”Just to be clear on something? I mean absolutely no disrespect to Fast Food Workers when I say that people have to make money somehow, but at the same time? I’m here because I had my priorities straight growing up, and trust me Mercedes, this Sunday? I will have my priorities straight heading into our match!”

Harper stated as she brushed some hair over her shoulder.

”For example? As far as Crystal is concerned? Either the ref sends her packing or I will, you’re not about to screw me the same way you screwed Lilith two weeks ago!” Harper stated as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”And on that note Mercedes? I don’t know if you were paying attention to my little spat with Victoria over the past few months but if you have? You’d know one card hold truth about me.

I hold one hell of a grudge!” Harper stated as she glared at the camera. ”I never let go of the fact that Victoria used her Queen for a Day Powers to book me in a handicap match against Juliana DiMaria and Alexandra Callaway and that had the domino effect that led to me holding this title after taking it from her.” Harper said as she held the title up to the camera. ”And that was for something that didn’t involve her getting physical with me, you? Did you really think I forgot?”

Nope.

”December 2 Dismember V, 2023, I’ll be shocked if you don’t remember that show considering you’re practically an encyclopaedia or SCW knowledge Mercedes but then again for everything you’ve gotten right about SCW History you’ve gotten at least ten things wrong!” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”But to make a long story short? You decided to attack me and Jessie with kendo sticks at the first Climax Control after that year’s High Stakes, why? Well, I guess a vindictive old bitch can hold a grudge as well.

I mean, who cares if you got yourself disqualified in our first match, am I right?” Harper asked sarcastically as she ran a hand through her hair. ”That off course led to the No DQ Match between us at that show and while I won that match? Old wounds don’t heal that easily Mercedes, and between you, Crystal, and Alicia lurking in the wings? I guess they’ll be old foes about in this match!”

With Jessie and Josh in America training for their Wrestleleague Matches this week Harper and Cassie have been left to their own devices, today they were enjoying lunch at a local café.

”Man, I haven’t had Greek food since SCW Toured Greece in 2022.” Cassie commented as she leaned back in her chair and Harper grinned. ”And that was three years ago.”

”What about Makayla?” Harper pointed out and Cassie nodded. ”She’s Greek Australian, married to your half-sister and went to culinary.”

”Yeah but Makayla mostly cooks American style food those days, still amazing but not really Greek, plus I haven’t really spoken with her or Krystal since my SCW Career got into full swing.” Cassie responded as she shook her head. ”Pretty sure Krystal still has some resentment over how her own SCW Career ended.”

”I’m sure she’ll come around eventually.” Harper assured her and Cassie nodded. ”So, how’s the leg holding up?”

”Still sore but considering I just had two back to back matches against former World Bombshell Champs? It could be a lot worse.” Cassie responded as she looked at her bad leg. And ‘m grateful to have my first week off of the cycle, give me time to properly rest thing thing.”

”Don’t jinx it!” Harper teased before a waitress came over to take their plates. ”They’ll probably find an excuse to book you for next week’s show knowing your luck.”

”And I’ll still take that if it means me bouncing back from two consecutive losses.” Cassie shrugged her shoulders before the conversation drifted off.

Harpin’ on with Harper, wondering through Mykonos Town, Greece

As Harper prepares for her final promo for her rematch against Mercedes we see her wondering around Mykonos Town.

”SCW sure picked a beautiful location for the Ladies Night show, didn’t they?” Harper asked as she turned her phone camera around to show the surrounding area. ”Easily one of the pretties places I’ve visited as an SCW Wrestler though I suspect that’ll change in the coming years as SCW takes me to more exotic locales.

Such a pretty place, ironic considering my match against Mercedes will be anything but pretty!” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And setting aside the age difference between us Mercedes? We’ve had similar years, haven’t we Mercedes?”

Harper said as she brushed some hair over her shoulder.

”Meaning? We both shocked everyone by scoring a title win that we weren’t supposed too.” Harper added as she patted the Bombshell Roulette Title perched on her shoulder. ”Off course he difference is? You had to win it back through dishonest means after losing at Summer XXXTreme Mercedes, while me? I have only just won this belt and my first challenger is likely to challenge me at Violent Conduct!

Oh and? I don’t plan of losing this title in my first defence!” Harper stated as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”What’s that Mercedes? Too soon? Funny, same can be said for your rematch with Lilith but you’re not complaining about that, right?”

It’s that simple.

”Then allow me to give you something to complain about as we have our little bash at the beach! And that something, of course, is me kicking you so hard that you think it’s a Mean Girls reunion and people take you seriously again.” Harper added with a scoff. ”When in fact? It’s been the opposite, you scored some fluke wins, “earned” a title twice and now think you’re hot hit again?”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”Unfortunately for you Mercedes? I’m your reality check in this situation! Because unlike you? I earned this title and took it off the longest reigning champion the division has seen in years, someone you wrestled once and decided that was enough.” Harper said as she looked at the title over her shoulder. ”And this Sunday? People will think I was the Bombshell Internet Champion and not you because while I put on a show worthy of that title’s prestige? You’ll be embarrassed because the world needs a new hero and she is the Bombshell Roulette Champion Harper Mason! See you in the ring!”

Harper turned off the camera as the scene fades.

It is the week of Harper’s second ever Summer XXXTreme and her long waited singles rematch against Victoria Lyons for the SCW Bombshell Roulette Championship, given everything that’s happened between them since last year’s Into the Void and this year’s Viking Era Tour? Harper has a lot on her mind.

”You know what’s funny? I’ve been kinda intertwined with Victoria since she made her debut at the Go Home Show for last year’s Into the Void if you really think about it.” Harper commented as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”I was one of Victoria’s opponents in the Queen for a Day Match that served as her second ever match in SCW, a match that she was a last minute addition too and oh boy! Did Christian’s decision to add a relative newcomer to the Queen for a Day Match at the last minute have ripple effects or what?

And before anyone asks? I didn’t intend “ripple effects” to be a pun because our rubber match is taking place on the high seas, if anyone’s going to make those puns it’s any of the six guys in the Overboard Battle Royal!” Harper added as she quickly shook her head. ”After Victoria won she let the temporary power go to her head, made being Queen for a Day her whole personality for a whole damn year and then she booked me in a handicap match against Juliana DiMaria and Alexandra Callaway.”

Harper lets out a deep breath.

”Why? Because she hated the fact that I paid tribute to my trainers and mentors at the end of each of my promos, no I’m not kidding!” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”I knew from that moment on that me and Victoria could never be friends, booking me against two of the best female wrestlers in the company at that point was one thing, booking it for such a petty fucking reason? Well, now you know why I never let that bitch’s manipulations get to me!

I may be the youngest wrestler on the roster but make no mistake Victoria, I can hold one hell of a grudge!” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”And since I served as your first ever challenger in a singles match on the first Climax Control after last year’s Summer XXXTreme? Our clashes have been few and  far between, I pretty much spent the past year taking whatever SCW PPV bookings I could get, when I wasn’t being left off the show at Violent Conduct or being added to the show at the last minute at least but my feelings of resentment towards you for that one match you used your Queen for a Day powers to book? They never went away.”

Harper lets out a sharp breath.

”And all it took was you trying to turn one of my closest friends in the business against me for that to change, the fact that you used Cassie as a human shield against me? That was the final nail in the coffin.” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”Make no mistake Victoria, this Sunday at Summer XXXTreme? We’re ending this! Doesn’t matter if I walk out the new champion and finally put your reign out of its misery or you keep your iron grip on the title for another couple of weeks.

But trust me? This Sunday I’m giving an advanced course I’m titling “To Tame A Lyon”, unfortunately for you.” Harper cracked her knuckles. ”I’m pretty hands on with my approach to teaching!”

Turned out? The ship had gym facilities and Harper was getting in her reps if and when she could, today was no different and Josh was holding a punching bag in place as she threw kicks at it.

”If there’s one good thing I can say about my wrestling style? It means that I’ll never get rusty at throwing my martial arts kicks.” Harper commented after she threw a spinning roundhouse spin at the bag, then took a break to catch her breath. ”Well, that and how well it’s served me over the two years that I’ve been a wrestler.”

“Technically it’s just under two years, didn’t you graduate a few months shy of your nineteenth birthday?” Josh reminded Harper and she nodded to confirm that. “Just a couple of more months and you’ll be twenty one.”

”Yeah, still got mixed feelings on that.” Harper admitted with a shrug as she leaned on a piece of gym equipment. ”Still not sure if I’ll want to drink even after I turn twenty one, I try to stay as healthy as I can even with my sweet tooth and that doesn’t sound like it’ll help, and then there’s this whole goal I’ve set for myself since the year started.”

“Youngest champion in the Bombshell Division’s history?” Josh asked as he folded his arms and Harper nodded. “Like I said, even if Victoria retains on Sunday there’s every chance that you’ll get a random opportunity on Climax Control.”

”Also every chance that they’ll set me back at square one and by the time I get another title shot? My birthday has passed me bye.” Harper pointed out and Josh nodded as he realized that she had a point. ”Then again you can never tell with the bosses sometimes, look at that Double of Northing Match for example, for every division stalwart like Kate, Andrea, and Alexandra we’ve got newcomers like Amelia Reynolds and Diamond Caldwell and a returning veteran who hasn’t lived up to her hype in Canelli all vying for a shot at the World Bombshell Championship! At least when Frankie earned her spot by winning Blast from the Past she had to go through several rounds of opponents first!”

“True, sometimes it does feel like the bosses are drawing names out of hats just to give certain talent something to do.” Josh nodded in agreement as he considered Harper’s point. “While your beef with Victoria has more or less locked her up for a couple of cyles.”

”I mean, I’ll be the first to admit that the past few months have been some of the most intense of my wrestling career to date, but I will say one thing.” Harper commented as a small smirk appeared on her face. ”It sure as hell beats sitting on my ass for weeks on end, waiting for my next match and hoping that the bosses find a spot on the Supercard for me.”

“Yeah, I won’t lie, as a former SCW wrestler myself? Those cycles were the absolute worst.” Josh nodded in agreement before harper started warming up again. “You’re ready to pick up where you left off Harper?”

”You know it! Just trying to make sure my body’s ready for the workout!” Harper responded with a grin as she continued her warmup routine and Josh grabbed the punching bag again. ”Again, apologies in advance of I accidently knock that thing into your face and give you a black eye or something.”

“Given how heavy this thing is?” Josh asked as he shook his head with a chuckle. “A black eye would be the least of my worries.”

”True.” Harper conceded before she resumed her workout.

Harpin’ On With Harper, By the pool the Sun Princess Cruise Liner

Harper had specifically chosen this time of night because there was likely to be very few sunbathers out given that the sun had set some time ago and with Josh filming? She stood in front of the pool with her arms crossed.

”Let’s talk last year’s Summer XXXTreme Victoria, you didn’t win the Bombshell Roulette Title at the event but given that you won it from Alexandra just a few weeks short of the event? That year’s Bombshell Ultimate X Over the Pool Match was bound to serve as your first defence.” Harper commented as she glanced out towards the unoccupied pool. ”At the time? I was enthralled in a feud with a then recently returned Alicia Lukas but as the weeks neared I couldn’t help but lament how I had potentially missed out on being in that match.

What a difference a year makes, huh?” Harper asked hypothetically as she started walking around, keeping away from the water’s edge so she didn’t have to worry about falling in the pool and getting wet. ”Pretty much the only thing that hasn’t changed is the fact that you’re the Bombshell Roulette Champion, and yes, I will take the “Captain Obvious” title as well, but aside from that?”

Harper shakes her head.

”There’s coming into a new fed hot, and then there’s how you entered SCW Victoria: won the Queen for a Day Match in your second outing, was the Bombshell Roulette Champion a few short weeks later and wouldn’t taste your first defeat in an SCW Ring until that Pick Your Poison match against Luna in the middle of your feud with Bella, at that point? Was there any real double that you were going to win Future Star of the Year come the Year End Awards at last year’s High Stakes? It was almost like they put that vote up as a formality.” Harper asked as she shook her head. ”But now?”

My, how the mighty have fallen Victoria.” Haper stated as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”Let’s set aside for a moment the fact that I helped Frankie Holiday beat you, that’s pretty much the only outcome than be contested here really, but this cycle? You’ve only won one match, against my friend Cassie Wolfe, and every time you got physical with me? It wasn’t the champ that came out on top.”

Harper added as she shook her head.

”It wasn’t even the human cockroach herself Kate Steele who tried inserting herself into our business because apparently winning your return match against Bea Banhart is enough to get a title shot these days, it was me that came out on top!” Harper added as she raised one arm and pointed to herself with her thumb. ”When you tried to throw hands with me? I was the first Bombshell in over a year who didn’t have the surname Lyons who held the Bombshell Roulette Title, even if it was just for a few seconds, when you tried to end Cassie’s career at the Go Home Show? Not only did I save the day but I laid you out with the Encore Set.

In other words Victoria? I’ve got your number.” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”And after this Sunday? I’ll have your title as well!”

It’s the day after Harper’s second promo/vlog and Harper is enjoying a meal with her older cousin/SCW Hall of Famer Jessie Salco at the ship’s café.

”Admit it Jess.” Harper commented after taking a bite of her omelette and swallowing it and Jessie looked up at the twenty year old. ”After so many years of being an active bombshell for the company? It feels weird to not be a part of the active roster.”

”A little bit, I’m not about to deny that.” Jessie shrugged her shoulders before she took a bite of her food. ”I even asked if I could host a karaoke night like I did the last couple of years I was on the roster, but they told me events like that are only hosted by contracted talent and, well, my manager contract got transferred to Josh when I found out I was pregnant so it’s not like I could’ve used that as a loophole if I wanted too.”

”Shame, I was looking forward to it, maybe I’ll take up the reigns next year?” Harper suggested with a shrug and Jessie nodded. ”Speaking of reigns, any last minute advice for dealing with Victoria?”

”She’s dangerous, you know that and I know that.” Jessie responded as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And this isn’t the first time you’ve been in the ring with her either, she’s as talented as she is psychotic.”

”Tch, yeah, why does wrestling tend to attract weirdos like the Lyons Twins and Logan Hunter?” Harper scoffed as she shook her head. ”I swear it’s like an epidemic! What happened to relatively normal folk like me?”

”Don’t know but it keeps things interesting doesn’t it?” Jessie asked and Harper quickly nodded in agreement. ”And hey, maybe you’ll be the first “normal” champ SCW’s seen in a while!”

”Yeah, maybe!” Harper grinned before the conversation drifted off.

It’s now late at night on the Sun Princess Cruise Liner and for her last promo for this year’s Summer Spectacular? Harper is seen at her laptop again, filming it via her computer’s webcam.

”You know something Victoria? I’ve come to realize something over the course of this war we’ve had since April.” Harper commented as she leaned back in her chair. ”Having these marathon championship reigns is great and all, it means your guaranteed a spot in the record books, builds up anticipation for when you finally drop the belt and what comes next and more importantly? Who will be the champion when the belt’s taken off you.

But at the same time? it’s a double edged sword.” Harper added as she rested her hands behind her head. ”Because when you’ve hold a title for so long? You risk becoming stagnant, and the question becomes: can she live up that promise when the belt’s taken off her? The thing is Vicky? You’ve been stagnant for a while.”

Yep.

”The cracks started to appear at last year’s High Stakes because it looked like Luna was all set to win the title from you, she failed but she was close, as were Alicia and Bobbie at Inception and Alexandra at Blaze of Glory but then came the Queen’s Gambit Match and the start of our little war.” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”Not only did you cost us the Tag Team Preview Match by taking the pin from Lilith but you barely scraped by when defending it in the match itself!

Glory is a fleeting thing, especially in a sport like wrestling, because as you hoh all the glory as you have for the past year or so Victoria? You get complacent and stagnant!” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”Deny it all you want Vicky but your reign is on life support and has been for months now! I’m motivated by two things heading into this match: winning my first SCW Title before the age of twenty one and getting revenge for everything you’ve put me through Victoria, shame that I’m going to have to give a once great reign the Old Yeller Treatment!”

It's that simple.

”And after you’ve damn near killed the division over the past year or so? It’s time new life was breathed into it!” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”This Sunday’s Supercard technically marks the one year anniversary of your first defence, not sure on the exact date but I know it was sometime in August, everyone has made a big deal about you reaching the yearlong milestone Victoria but me?

I’m going to do everything in my power to ensure that you fall just short!” Harper added as she leaned back. ”Bragging rights? Revenge? Both? Call it want you want, I’m calling it my ticket into the record books!”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”And even IF you do survive this Sunday’s defence Victoria? How much left is there in  the tank? Honestly!” Harper asked as she made a fist. ”The Queen’s Reign is about to end Victoria, whether it be at the hands or another or me, that belt won’t be around your waist for much longer!

Harper has been home from the Viking Era Tour for about a week at this point and after traveling through Iceland and most of Europe the twenty year old is ready to get back in the swing of things now that she’s back in the states.

”Don’t get me wrong, traveling through Europe and Iceland for the Viking Era tour was fun, but you know what they say? There’s no place like home.” Harper commented as one of her labradors, Xavier, came up to her and she started stroking him. ”Sure, my aunt and my little brother and sister were more than happy to look after Logan and Xavier while I was away but I have definitely missed these two doggos! But this vlog isn’t all about fun, games and getting to spend time with my dogs after such a long tour.

No, it seems that, now that we’re in Pride Month, the bosses have decided to book Young Justice in a tag team match this Sunday, for those wondering why I brought up Pride Month? I’m bi and Cassie’s a lesbian.” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And fittingly? Our opposition seems to be of the same ilk! Seleana Zdunich, ex-wife of Crystal and now dating a diamond, fuck me, this is going to get confusing!”

Harper states as she shakes her head.

”And no, this isn’t Diamond Steele we’re talking about, I’m pretty sure the Bombshell Division would implode if those two families actually joined together! No, this Diamond is a newcomer to the Bombshell Division called Diamond Caldwell and she’s coming in with some impressive stats, WWR Bloodlust Champin, and with a name like that it’s gotta be that fed’s hardcore division, WWR Queen of the Cage and the longest reigning NFW Genesis Champion.” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”Meanwhile I’m technically the longest reigning KCW TV Champion because the fed folded while I was champ and they let me keep the title, held the Empire Pro Primetime Championship and FCW Great Lakes Championship, all in my rookie year I might add!

What can I say? I take pride in what I can as a wrestler, no pun related to Pride Month intended.” Harper added as she shifted her weight. ”Meanwhile Cassie was the MPW TV Champion but she doesn’t like talking about that and Seleana held the Bombshell Roulette and World Bombshell Championships six years ago!” Harper added as she leaned back in her chair. ”If Kayla ever wins Queen for a Day I’m better good money that she’ll try to get that stricken from the record books, just saying! But in all seriousness? I’m not done with Victoria by a longshot, especially since she pinned Song to win the Queen’s Gambit Match, and to get back in title contention? I need to win matches! As far as I’m concerned? This is a good place to start!”

A couple of hours have passed since Harper filmed her first promo/vlog for the tag team match between her and Cassie and Seleana and Diamond and she is out walking her labs alongside Cassie and her lab Sandy.

”Feels great, doesn’t it?” Harper asked as walked the two dogs along and Cassie only walked the one. ”Getting things back to normal after more than a month on the Viking Era Tour.”

”Harp, the tour started in April, that was just under two months ago.” Cassie corrected Harper as Sandy had a sniff around some grass at the dog park. ”But yeah, I have missed having access to the green screen while we were away, and at least this time I won’t be heading into any volcanos.”

”You could always pop down to Yellowstone.” Harper teased Cassie who quickly shook her head. ”As long as you don’t mind a ten hour drive and staying well clear of the water and the actual volcano.”

”Yeah, no, I’ll pass, the trek from Reno to Vegas when I still lived there was enough of a headache!” Cassie responded as she shook her head and Harper grinned. ”Could make for a cool promo set piece if SCW ever heads down that way but we’ll see.”

”Unless the bosses veto it because they still remember when you got inside a dormant volcano to promote your Blast from the Past match against Mikah.” Harper commented dryly and Cassie quickly shook her head. ”And yet that was still less dangerous that hanging around moose for that promo against Mercedes.”

”That was only because that volcano is the only one in the world dormant enough for people to go inside and those moose were very much alive and wild fucking animals, the guide told me to stay as far away from them as I could and even that was a risk.” Cassie responded as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”You ready for the tag match?”

”The tag match? Yeah, it’s like I said on Twitter, at least the queen didn’t book me in a handicap match this time!” Harper responded as she shook her head before they sat on a bench and their dogs gathered around them. ”Probably helps that one of my opponents in that match was the one who beat you to win Queen for a Day, anyway, what do you make of Seleana’s partner?”

”When it comes time for my promo I’ll have to constantly remind myself that no, this isn’t Diamond Steele’s latest name change.” Cassie responded dryly as she shook her head. ”Guess this means Seleana has a thing for women whose first name is literally a gem stone! That aside, it’s always difficult with newcomers when you’re not familiar with their work if they are recent graduates like Logan and Brooke.”

”True, and I faced a fellow newcomer in my debut, she didn’t last long either.” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”Maybe Seleana put in a good word for her and got her hired?”

”That would make sense and explain why they threw her in a tag match with Seleana against us.” Cassie nodded in agreement as she stroked her dog. ”I can’t even say that we’d win it for Pride Month, it’s a bi woman and a lesbian teaming up with a newcomer and her established lover!”

”And I can’t remember if Seleana ever publicly stated if she was bi like me or a lesbian like you either.” Harper admitted with a shrug before sighing. ”Either way we need to get back to our winning ways after the Viking Era tour was a bust, especially since there’s still unfinished business with me and Victoria.”

”And if anyone pulls the Jessie comparison? Just point to the fact that it was Song who was pinned at Into the Void, not you.” Cassie encouraged Harper and she nodded in agreement. ”And that you’re trying to do things the right way this time by not demanding things.”

”Setting aside the fact that I never demanded to be added to the Queens Gambit Match, Victoria picked me while I was still reeling from my loss to Bella.” Harper corrected Cassie before sighing. ”I’m never escaping the Jessie comparisons aren’t I?”

”Probably not.” Cassie responded before she stood up with a stretch. ”Shall we get going?”

”Sure, I just wanted to rest my feet for a bit.” Harper responded before following Cassie down the path.

Harper and Cassie have stopped for a break at a dog friendly café and, with Harper holding onto all three dog leads at once while Cassie films, what can go wrong.

”I’ve been in some dangerous situations since I joined SCW, holding the leads of three fully grown labradors in one hand while my friend/tag team partner in this match films it might just take the whole damn cake!” Harper joked before Cassie flipped the camera around, gave a wave to the camera, and flipped it back. ”Epecially since we’re in a dog park and all it would take would be one squirrel for me to go flying! And not in the way I usually do for my matches either!

All jokes aside, after the Viking Era Tour proved to be a disappointment for me and Cass? We’re ready to bounce back and the controversy around certain comments Cassie made during that tour won’t get in our way.” Harper added and Cassie groaned as Harper shook her head. ”Cass, it’s the elephant in the room, if I don’t bring it up, our opponents will! Look, I don’t exactly care for that comment Cassie made implying that Seleana abuses her kids, even if that was the stress getting to her and yes, she acknowledges that she got off lightly with a broken nose, I acknowledge that fact too, by the way Cass how is that nose?”

”Finally healed up over the course of the post Supercard break.” Cassie responded off camera and Harper grinned. ”Err, no pun intended of course.”

”Since when have you been known to NOT intend a pun? That’s you’re your twitter feed!” Harper pointed out and Cassie grinned sheepishly. ”Anyway, that anticipated animosity didn’t really come up all that much in the grand scheme of the Queen for a Day Match, guess that’s inevitable when they both had four other women to deal with, but as far as this match goes?

I don’t know about Cass but I fully expect the first to start flying as soon as she and Seleana share a ring together.” Harper stated as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”Where does that leave me and Diamond though? That is the million dollar question isn’t it? I guess we’ll find out…………….” Suddenly Harper was nearly pullet out of her chair as the three dogs became alert, when she and Cassie looked up and saw their manager Joshua Acquin? It made sense. ”I knew this was a bad idea! Anyway, I guess we’ll find out come bell time!”

Harper and Cassie were now at Josh’s gym in Las Vegas, preparing for the tag team match at Climax Control by teaming up to spar with two new trainees from Hero Academy.

”So, I know you girls just enrolled at Hero Academy.” Harper stated as she looked at Young Justice’s two opponents from across the ring, both eighteen years old but from different sports backgrounds. ”But that doesn’t mean we’re going to go easy on you! We are the first two graduates from Hero Academy for a reason.”

“Oh, we know.” Abbie, the shorter of the two trainees and a former gymnast with long blonde hair, responded as she started to warm up. “But I’m always down for a challenge, right Thea?”

“Damn right.” Thea, the taller of the two and a redhead with a background in basketball, responded with a nod as she leaned on the ring ropes. “Just hope you girls are ready to be outclassed by the next gen of Hero Academy grads!”

”Next gen? You realize that me and Harp only graduated a couple of years ago, right?” Cassie asked with a raised eyebrow and Harper nodded in agreement. ”Just because I was the first Hero Academy graduate doesn’t make me ancient!”

“Ladies, let’s try to keep this civil.” Josh interjected and the four women turned to him. “I asked Roxi and Keira to send Thea and Abbie over because you needed sparring partners, Thea’s close to Seleana’s height and with her basketball background? She’ll get some serious hangtime on a dropkick, while Diamond isn’t that much shorter than Seleana Abbie’s gymnast background should help you prepare for her all-rounder style.”

”Hopefully.” Cassie responded before turning to the trainees. ”So how are we doing this? Short girl vs. short girl and then tall girl vs. the in between girl?”

”Guessing I’m the in between girl because, at 5ft 5, I’m two inches taller than you Cass but six inches shorter than Thea?” Harper asked and the two women nodded. ”Fine, but Cassie’s going first.”

“Works for me.” Abbie grinned before Cassie jumped over the ropes and the two women started sparring, it was pretty apparent that Abbie was out of her league when it came to outright wrestling Cass but Abbie’s athleticism allowed her to keep pace with the former soccer player. “Not bad for a newbie right?”

”Not bad, but let’s see you run the ropes while Cassie does drop down and leapfrog spots.” Harper nodded in response and they proceeded to do just that, Cassie was fast on her feet as always but Abbie was no slouch.

Then when Cassie went to finish the sequence with an arm drag Abbie landed on her feet and scored with an arm drag of her own. ”See you’ve picked up a few tricks since we last saw you.” Cassie commented and Thea grinned.

“That was before you two left for the Viking Era Tour, there’s a reason we’re at the top of the current class.” Thea added as she nodded towards Harper. “Anyway, I’m ready to go against Victoria’s chosen one now.”

”We’ll see.” Harper responded before Cassie tagged her in and Abbie tagged in Thea, it was much the same as the first sparring session between Cassie and Abbie but Thea’s long legs and leaping ability made her a different beast to Abbie. ”Think you can take the Masonline Special?”

“Bring it.” Thea responded confidently before she went to send Harper over the ropes to set up the move, Harper held onto the top rope before steadying herself and leaping in for the Buckshot Leg Lariat, catching Thea square on the chin. “Ever thought about changing that up? Like a flip into a corkscrew kick?” Thea suggested as she sat up, rubbing her aching chin and Harper shook her head.

”I’ve been perfecting that move since I graduated, why fix what isn’t broken?” Harper asked before helping Thea up. ”And then I’d need to perfect the new version of the move before I started incorporating it in matches.”

“True, just a suggestion.” Thea responded with a nod as she leaned against the ropes. “Besides, it could be a good back up plan if someone else figures out a counter.”

”Fair point, I’ll think about it.” Harper nodded in response as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”Ready to continue?”

“Hell yeah.” Thea responded and the two girls resumed sparring.

As Harper gets ready for her final vlog for the tag team match against Seleana and Diamond we see her leaning against the ring ropes in Josh’s gym with a grin on her face.

”I’m not gonna lie, the Viking Era Tour was a major disappointment for me.” Harper stated as she blew a stray strand of hair out of her face. ”Obviously it worked out better for some people, I mean, who had Mercedes Vargas winning her first singles title in years on their 2025 bingo cards? But with Summer XXXTreme coming up next one thing is on my mind: getting back on the hunt for Victoria!

Oh what’s that Victoria? You thought we were done just because you retained at Into the Void?” Harper shook her head. ”Guess again, yes you retained but you didn’t pin me, you pinned Song, as far as I’m concerned? We still have business to sort out! But in the meantime I know that to get on the radar for a future match with Victoria, maybe even the Ultimate X Match at Summer XXXTreme, I need to start winning matches again, and that’s where this tag match with Cassie against Seleana and Diamond comes in!”

Harper added as she started to pace around the ring.

”Seleana’s a former champion who might be looking to repeat what Mercedes pulled off at Into the Void, Diamond’s a newcomer to the fed looking to win her debut, and then there’s me and Cass, two women who are looking to bounce back now that we’re back from Europe.” Harper added as she motioned towards Cassie who was standing outside the ring. ”Setting aside all the controversy surrounding her and Seleana since that show in Denmark? That’s basically what this match is going to boil down too.

Four women hoping to get noticed for future title opportunities by the higher ups.” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”It’s the start of a new cycle, for me, Cassie and Seleana it’s a clean slate following the Viking Era Tour, for Diamond it’s about making a good impression in her first match with the company, at the end of the day? It’s going to boil down to who’s hungrier.”

It's that simple.

”And no offence to Seleana and Diamond but me and Cass have that hunger for days!” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”And come Climax Control 426 this Sunday night? We’re going to make good on that and then some! Do I anticipate a competitive match? Yep, I mean Diamond’s making her debut for the company but with a background like that? You know you’ll put up a fight and given the beef between Cassie and Seleana? Things are bound to get ugly.

But there can only be two winners and that winning team will be me and Cassie!” Harper added as she grinned at the camera. ”And from there? Well, I’m sure Cassie and Seleana have their own plans but me? Well, I know the goal I’ve set for myself and this match will be the kickstart that goal needed!”

And with that Haper decided to wrap things up.

”So Seleana, Diamond? You ready to try to prove me wrong by trying to get the win? All I can say is good luck.” Harper added as she grinned at the camera before making the finger gun point motion to the camera. ”Because this Sunday? You are going to need all the luck you can get and then some against Young Justice in this Tag Team Match because we are not going down without a fight.

Or more accurately? We don’t plan on going down, period!” Harper added as she stared at the camera. ”Because the world needs a new hero and their names are “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason and “The Rebel Princess” Cassie Wolfe because justice.” Harper made the gun going off motion with the fingers in the finger gun pose. ”Will be served!”

The time had finally come, Into the Void and for Harper? The Fatal Four Way Roulette Rules Match for the Bombshell Roulette Championship against the champion Victoria Lyons and her fellow challengers Song and Lillith Locke, however following the events of last night’s Climax Control? Harper had a lot on her mind.

And that was evident as the twenty year old opened her first Vlog live from her hotel room in Paris, France.

”I was expecting to say a lot of things heading into the Queen’s Gambit Match at Into The Void against Victoria, Song and Lillith, trust me, when this match was announced a couple of weeks ago? I wanted to come prepared.” Harper states as she runs a hand though her dirty blonde hair. ”You want to know what I didn’t expect to say? Victoria cost me the tag match against Lillith and Song by getting pinned by Lillith and now? All the momentum is in her court.

And yet, that’s exactly what happened at last night’s Climax Control, I guess on one hand I didn’t take the pin myself but that leaves a lot of questions heading into Victoria’s defence at Into the Void: did she deliberately throw the match while planning to blame the Amsterdam Air for her loss? And no, I’m not kidding, that’s legitimately the reason Victoria gave for losing the tag match!” Harper stated as she shook her head in disbelief. ”I’ve only been wrestling for two years, yet that is still one of the craziest excuses I’ve heard for a loss! Hell I haven’t heard an excuse that baffling since the last time Bea Barnhart opened her mouth!”

Harper quickly shook her head.

”Comparing the longest reigning Roulette Champion to a woman who literally only has a job because her husband’s a respected veteran? Yep, that’s another thing I didn’t expect to be saying!” Harper lets out an exasperated sigh as before she continues. ”But on a serious note? That does raise the question, will Victoria’s reign as queen be the only thing of hers to end at Into the Void? There will be a new Queen for a Day crowned, that much is obvious! Unlike last year’s King she’s not defending her crown in the Queen for a Day Ladder Match.

No, what I am talking about is, of course, her Roulette Title reign! Victoria’s reign didn’t start at lasty year’s Into the Void, she, alongside me, competed in that year’s Queen for a Day Match and you get no prizes for guessing who won, but considering Guy’s King for a Day Episode directly led to the start of Victoria’s reign?”  Harper asked as she leaned back in her chair with her arms crossed. ”It may as well have!”

Harper sighs as she rests her hands about her head.

”And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the other challengers in this match, Song and Lillith are obviously riding on a high after they took the win last night but since she got the pin? That goes double for Lillith.” Harper added as she let out a deep breath. ”Song’s dangerous enough as it is but Lillith? Much like Victoria was at last year’s Into the Void she’s coming into this match unpinned, I’d say undefeated but she lost her Blast from the Past Match so yeah, that doesn’t count.

My goal is still the same as ever, I want to win the Bombshell Roulette Championship before I turn twenty one in September, for those keeping track? That gives me four and months and four days” Harper held up four of her fingers to drive the point home. ”And I knew achieving that goal wasn’t going to be easy, but throw in all the factors that I’ve mentioned up to this point? And that hill I’ve got to climb might end up being Mt. Everest!”

About an hour and a half removed from her fist vlog for the match between Harper, Victoria, Song and Lillith we see Harper walking through the streets of Paris alongside Joshua Acquin, her manager and her mentor for well over a year by this point.

”Man, Paris is so pretty.” Harper commented to Josh as she looked around the city with her arms crossed. ”Kinda had to believe this place was picked as the finale of the Viking Era Tour because it was the home to one of the bloodiest sieges of the Viking Era.”

“Each city has it’s own history Harper, and Paris is no different.” Josh responded with a nod as they looked around the city. “Still, we have two weeks here, anything you want to do before we head back to the states? I know that’s two weeks away but it’s good to plan ahead.”

”Even before I graduated from Hero Academy I’ve always had something of a sweet tooth.” Harper commented with a shrug as she turned to Josh. ”Guess I’m still a kid at heart but I know France is known for its cuisine and all that, to say the least.”

“Well, you’re in the right city, there’s plenty of patisseries here in Paris.” Joshua responded with a nod and Harper grinned broadly as she put her hands in her pockets. “You can even film your second vlog from one such place.”

”If they let me but I imagine they get a lot of traffic from influencers and stuff like that.” Harper responded as she glanced around. ”Which one’s closest? My feet are killing me.”

“Hold on, I’ll check.” Josh responded before checking his phone and Harper leaned against a wall, trying to take the weight of her feet. “There’s Pierre Herme, has multiple locations around the city but the closest one isn’t that far from here.”

”Sounds perfect to me!” Harper responded before she continued walking after her manager. ”What’s your take on what happened last night in Amsterdam?”

“The Tag Match?” Josh asked and Harper nodded in response. “It sounds like Victoria’s going into damage control mode based on what I read on her Twitter feed, it’s not the first time she’s lost as the Bombshell Roulette Champ in a non-title match but considering Lilith is one of your other opponents? She likely feels her reign is in the most danger it’s been in since it started last year.”

”Yeah, I honestly thought Luna was going to end it at High Stakes last year but we both know what happened there.” Harper nodded in response as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”But that’s not even half of it, since it’s a Fatal Four Way she doesn’t need to be pinned to lose the title, it’s just a matter of who gets pinned and by who.”

“That’s the danger of defending a title in a Fatal Four Way Match, throw in the Roulette Stipulation? There’s no telling what can happen until the wheel is spun.” Joshua nodded in agreement as they neared the patisserie. “And by then? It’s too late to plan.”

”Just gotta adapt and hope for the best.” Harper nodded in agreement before stretching a bit. ”I’ll worry about the match a bit later, I see the place right ahead.”

“Good eye, let’s go.” Joshua nodded in agreement before they want inside the shop.

Harper has just enjoyed some sweet tweets at one of Paris’s many patisseries and has decided to take the time to film her second vlog for the Queens Gambit Match in two weeks’ time.

”I may be a wrestler and before that, a high school wrestling standout and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do but I’ve always had a bit of a sweet tooth, which is why I’m here for my second vlog.” Josh panned the camera around the shot to show what Harper is talking about before focussing on Harper again. ”What can I say? Walking around Paris drives up the appetite!

But do you want to know the one thing that would be sweeter than all the sweet treats here in Paris? Winning the Bombshell Roulette Title of course.” Harper stated before taking a sip from her drink. ”And as I said in the first vlog? This won’t be easy! Victoria’s had that title in a iron grip for just under a year and challenging her on her own is tough enough, trust me, I’ve been there! I was Victoria’s first challenger in singles action and her first challenger on Climax Control after she retained the title in the Ultimate X Over The Pool Match at Summer XXXTreme! But throw in Song and Lillith?”

Harper shakes her head.

”And it only gets that much more competitive! Lillith, alongside the fact that she’s one of a few bombshells who can say that she has pinned Victoria, is looking to do two things: win her first title in SCW and bounce back from losing out on the Blast from the Past Tournament! Song, coincidentally, made her return to SCW last year and in that time we’ve fought once, in that Fatal Four Way #1 Contenders Match for the World Bombshell Title, she’s a martial artist like me and I know she’s going to be a tough fight no matter what the wheel lands on.” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”Then there’s me, the rookie who was seemingly handpicked by Victoria to be her next challenger.

That is until Christian announced that Victoria’s next defence was going to be a Fatal Four Way Match against me, Lillith and Song of course.” Harper added as she leaned forward on the desk. ”Am I nervous heading into this match? absolutely, but that doesn’t mean that I won’t give it my all! Besides, there’s certain things that I haven’t really forgiven Victoria for since she arrived in SCW!”

Here we go.

”Let’s start with one that resulted from her winning last year’s Queen for a Day Match, because she didn’t like the fact that I pay tribute to my trainers at the end of my promos I got booked in a handicap match against Juliana DiMaria and Alexandra Callaway, if you need to be told who those women are? What rock have you been living under?” Harper asked sarcastically as her frown deepened. ”And that’s before we get into everything that happened in the lead up to Into the Void!

Trying to turn me against my mentor Josh? Manipulating events so that I accidentally hit Cassie with a chair and left her open to the Lyons Roar? Yeah Victoria? If you thought I held a grudge before all that? That was nothing!” Harper stated as she glared at the camera. ”You may not have won the Bombshell Roulette Title at last year’s Into the Void but it was the King and Queen for a Day Matches that essentially set the wheels in motion and started you on your current path! Well Victoria? I’m about to make things come full circle!”

Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder.

”This whole saga started one year ago when we were in a Multi-Woman match at Into the Void, now, one year later? It’s going to end the same way at the same event.” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”My only regret is that I can’t end your reign exactly one year after it started, sadly we’re two months out from that being a possibility and if I have my way? Victoria’s reign won’t survive Into The Void.

Song and Lillith are tough cookies, I’m not denying that and I know they’ll both bring one hell of a fight so that they can walk out with Victoria’s title! I see another sweet treat that’s calling my name and I’m not saying no to that, see you at part three!”

It was the day after Harper’s trip through Paris on foot we see her and Josh taking a very different tour of Paris as they enjoy a boat cruise.

”This is definitely more like it.” Harper said as she stretched her arms and looked around at the sites from the river cruise. ”Walking around Paris was cool and all but even for an athlete like me it got to much at times, this river cruise is just perfect!”

“Had a feeling you’d like this.” Josh nodded in agreement as Harper took a few pictures of the sites on her phone, including a couple of selfies. “And a good way to take your mind off the Bombshell Roulette Title Match.”

”No way Josh, as cool as this is?” Harper asked rhetorically as she turned her attention back to Josh while shaking her head. ”It’ll take more than a river cruise to take my mind off the match, especially with as much history as I have with Victoria.”

“True enough but it’s still a good way to relax.” Josh admitted with a nod as he took in the sites for himself. ”We still have plenty of stuff to get through during our time here in Paris, restaurants, historical sites, you name it.”

”I know one thing for certain, if I was doing this trip alone I’d probably be checking TripAdvisor every other minute looking for things to do.” Harper admitted as she leaned back in her chair. ”Though from what Jessie told me? That took up most of her time whenever SCW did an international tour like this.”

“As someone who wrestled for SCW for many years? Can confirm.” Josh chuckled in response to Harper’s comment and Harper grinned. “Hopefully I can get Cassie out of her rut so she can enjoy herself too.”

”Yeah, I hear that, before Climax Control I wanted to punch her for those comments she made towards Seleana but her regret was all over Cassie’s face.” Harper responded with a frown and a nod. ”And I want her to do well in the Queen for a Day Match but she’s facing stiff competition.”

“She’ll be fine, you both will.” Josh assured Harper and she grinned in response. “But for now? At least try to enjoy yourself.”

”Hear, hear.” Harper responded before she resumed taking in the sites on the river cruise.

As Harper got ready for her final week one vlog we see the twenty year old still on the river cruise ready to film and cut her promo.

”Quite the view isn’t it? Not me, the city.” Harper asked as Josh panned around the city. ”Yet in two weeks’ time at Into the Void? It has the potential to become a battleground for me, Lillith Locke, Song and the Bombshell Roulette Champion Victoria Lyons! You would think that Victoria was the one who was entering the match with the momentum on her side, not only is she the Bombshell Roulette Champion but she is the longest reigning champ and only two months short of a full year as champ.

That is until Lilith Locke shocked the world at the last Climax Control by scoring a pin on her in the tag match that also featured me and Song and now? It’s anyone’s game.” Harper stated as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And as I said before? Victoria doesn’t even need to be pinned or submitted to lose the title, and that’s even if the Roulette Wheel lands on a stip that allows for pinfalls or submissions!”

Harper added as she leaned back a bit.

”But believe me, I fully intend to leave Paris as the new Bombshell Roulette Champion, Victoria is going to be my main target for the stuff I brought up in the second vlog but that doesn’t mean I’m discounting Song and Lillith either!” Harper added as she stretched her arms a bit. ”Song’s a former tag team champion after her first singles title reign, Lillith is an extremely impressive newcomer who is entering this match as the only unpinned wrestler in this match.

I’d  say she was undefeated but if that was still true? She’d still be in Blast from the Past.” Harper stated as she grinned at the camera. ”Sorry Lillith, did I strike a nerve? Good, that means you won’t enter this match with a clear head on your shoulders, and Song? Everything about you says this might be your last hurrah, when the match was announced Master Lilly outright said that your contract is expiring, so if you do win the title, what’s next? And Victoria? Say goodbye to your reign as queen and your title reign!”

It's that simple.

”You guys familiar with the trope Bookends? It basically means that a story ends in a similar scene to how it began, and if you ask me? Into the Void is a perfect place for me to bookend Victoria’s reign.” Harper stated as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”Her road to the title started at last year’s Into the Void and now? Ithat same event will end the reign!”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”Song, Lilith? As my fellow challengers in this match I wish you guys luck because I’m not making it easy for any of my opponents, but Victoria?” Harper quickly shakes her head. ”You can sweet talk and gaslight me all you want, this won’t stop me from achieving my goal of being the youngest ever Bombshell Roulette Champ and I won’t wish you any luck, frankly? You don’t need it, you’ve already got the momentum from your title reign on your side! But come Into the Void? The Queen’s Reign will end and the era of the “Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason as Bombshell Roulette Champ will begin because the world needs a new hero and champion and you’re looking at her! See you ladies at Into the Void!”

We cut to the backstage area after Climax Control has gone off the air following Bella’s win in the main event against Seleana Zdunich where we see Harper watching the closing moments of the match with an unreadable expression on her face.

”Bella’s been god damn unstoppable since she took the belt back from Aleesha at Inception VI, hasn’t she?” Harper comments as she walks away from the monitor, phone in hand, filming her vlog as she goes. ”Beat me twice in a row in her first two title defences and now has a non-title win over Seleana in a match where the hometown hero Fenris served as the special guest ref!

Almost everyone is ready to sing her praises as the bosses plan her next challenger, me? I’m left wondering what the hell I’ve been doing wrong over the past year or so!” Harper added as she brushed some of her dirty blonde hair out of her face, revealing a frustrated look on the twenty year old’s face. ”Here’s some math for you: since I signed with SCW in 2023 I’ve had a grand total of four title matches, my first one against Bobbie Dahl, my second against Victoria, both for the Bombshell Roulette Title, and my most recent matches against Bella, all pretty spread out at that! Meanwhile Cassie just seems to be handed title shots just for being a breathing body on the roster!”

Harper lets out a deep, frustrated breath as she flips some hair over her shoulder.

”I’m not trying to disparage Cassie’s efforts since she signed with SCW last summer, nor am I trying to invoke the memories of my older cousin Jessie when she was on the roster, god knows I’ve worked hard enough to shake off those comparisons, but it’s getting really hard to maintain my “nice girl of the Bombshell Division” persona when I seem to be playing second fiddle to someone who openly admits to being a former stone! And that’s all before Victoria and Vincent Lyons entered the picture earlier tonight!” Harper looks up towards the arena’s ceiling for a moment before letting out a deep breath. ”God fucking knows I’ve had more than my share of dealings with that woman since she signed with SCW last year.

Just to get one thing out of the way, I don’t care that I almost won the match, being thrown into a handicap match against two of the top Bombshells in the division because I pay tribute to my mentors in every promo I cut is still bullshit! And just to answer another question? No, I don’t know what the terrible twins were getting at when they cornered me after Eddie’s win over Artie in the opening match! Trust me, I was just as surprised by their sudden interest in me as everyone else! But the gist of it seems to be that Victoria has me marked as one of her next challengers which brings me to me next point! I don’t know if Victoria’s interest is tying into this or not, whoever wrote the match  preview for this week’s Main Event seems to think so, but just under a year since the last time I faced her in a non-title match? I’m facing Kayla Richards in a non-title match in next week’s Main Event!”

Harper let out a deep breath.

”At the very least Andrea Hernandez was kind enough to ensure that it’s not the same title reign that she originally faced me in!” Harper added as she shook her head. ”Because god knows this year’s first international tour hasn’t repeated much of the same beats as last year’s! I know Kayla is a tough bitch, I also know she’s a bitch in general, and much like the aforementioned Bella, she doesn’t know who her next challenger will be yet!

Do I really need to tap into my killer instinct to score the upset win of the year and beat Kayla in her first match of her second reign as World Bombshell Champion? And if I do, what would that mean for the title picture that I just alluded too?” Harper asked hypothetically as she started making her way to the car park. ”Actually, here’s a better question, what influence, if any, will Victoria have over this match?”

Monday the 14th of April 2025, 11:00am

It was the day after Climax Control 421 and Harper was at her laptop checking for notifications on Twitter/Facebook, however the events of last night’s Climax Control are very fresh in her mind as the twenty year old goes through Facebook.

”I haven’t even interacted with Victoria since I challenged her for the Roulette Title back in August.” Harper muttered to herself as she rested her chin on her hand. ”And that was right after my feud with Alicia ended at Summer XXXTreme, why the sudden interest?”

A knock at the door interrupted Harper’s train of thought and she answered, on the other side of the door was Cassie, fresh off being screwed out of her spot in the Blast from the Past Tournament the previous night. ”Hey, didn’t get to do this over breakfast but I wanted to check in on you after that whole mess with Victoria last night.” Cassie explained and Harper nodded as she got the idea. ”Can I come in?”

”Yeah, yeah, come in.” Harper nodded before stepping aside and letting Cassie in. ”Though I feel I should do the same for you after Mikah cheated her way to the next round.”

”Oh trust me Harp, I could rant throughout the whole flight to Oslo, in other words, for just under three hours, about how incompetent SCW’s refs are and I’d still have material left for the journey to the hotel!” Cassie grunted in frustration before she sat down on the bed and Harper nodded before returning to her laptop. ”Speaking of, Josh said the checkout is at one so we’ve got at least an hour to kill before we need to get packing.”

”I’ve mostly been killing it by going through Facebook and Twitter, but good to know I guess.” Harper responded as she leaned back in her chair. ”When I’m not trying to figure out just what Victoria is up too with this scheme of hers.”

”I went back and watched the footage from that seg before I came over, the way they were cornering you was definitely unsettling.” Cassie responded as she ran a hand through her hair and Harper nodded in agreement. ”Good thing I stumbled upon it when I did because who knows where they would’ve taken it if I didn’t happen to be in the area to chase them off?”

”On one hand? The Lyons Twins are unreadable at the best of times, on the other hand? That’s gonna give me nightmares for at least a week.” Harper responded with a shudder and Cassie nodded in agreement. ”At the very least Eddie seems to have a good head on his shoulders though if all the Lyons siblings are like Victoria and Vincent? Maybe he’s the black sheep!”

”Can’t really comment on that, didn’t interact with the Lyons that much when we were in PWS: Apex together.” Cassie responded with a shrug and Harper nodded. ”Also, thing I’ve been wondering: was there any truth to Victoria’s words about you and the opportunities I’ve been getting since I joined SCW in August?”

”You mean when they were trying to insinuate that you were Josh’s new favourite toy? Oh god, that sounded way worse than I meant it to!” Harper facepalmed as she realized what she had just said. ”Never mind he age gap between us and Josh! Look, I’d be lying if there wasn’t some jealously, especially after you got an Elimination Chamber Qualifier and I spent most of the cycle unsure of what I’d be doing, if anything at Blaze of Glory until I won that qualifier, but trust me, there was nothing personal behind it, Victoria was just trying to make it sound a lot worse than it actually was!”

”I figured but thanks for clarifying.” Cassie nodded in appreciation before she stood up. ”Good luck against Kayla Harp, as one of her last opponents I know exactly how tough she is, and don’t do anything crazy!”

”That coming from a woman who literally cut a wrestling promo inside a dormant volcano?!” Harper snarked and Cassie just shook her head. ”I mean yeah, I know a bit more about it than Rocky thanks to my own trip into that thing but still!”

”That only happened once! And honestly, how often are we going to visit a country with volcanos safe enough for tours like that?” Cassie asked with a smirk and Harper shook her head. ”Exactly! I’ll come get you once my packing’s done Harp, Josh will want a chat about the incident with Victoria too.”

”Honestly? I’m surprised you beat him to the punch!” Harper responded with a grin and Cassie shook her head with a chuckle before leaving.

With her upcoming match fresh in her mind Harper clearly has a lot to think about over the coming week, especially with what was at stake in this non-title match against Kayla.

”Let’s go back to that first title reign, shall we Kayla? I’m not even talking about the first match we had in Turkey last May, at least not yet, but just the reign in general.” Harper stated as she leaned back in her chair. ”When we faced off at that show, you seemed unstoppable, you and Finn had an iron grip on not just the World Bombshell and World Heavyweight Titles but the Mixed Tag Team Titles as well, by the time Andrea ended the reign back in January you had the second longest World Bombshell Title Reign to date, just behind Amber Ryan, and what happened?

The Lyons broke that illusion when they took the Mixed Tag Team Titles from you, now, I’m not about to deny that they had a little help from Miles Kasey who was being about as subtle with his interference as Fenris was in his role as Special Guest Referee last Sunday but is it really that hard to not see that as the beginning of the end of that reign?” Harper asked before smirking a bit. ”If you ask me? No.”

Harper shifts her weight a bit as she continues.

”You know, it’s kinda funny because I realized when I was rewatching that episode of Climax Control to prepare that this was the same show where Victoria made her debut, and almost a year later I’m taking you on in a match that’s happening right after Victoria has decided, for lack of a better term, to make me her pet project.” Harper added before getting back on track. ”It’s also been a year since I went back and rewatched that match and two things were immediately evident in hindsight: one: whether I wanted it or not, I had a lot of help from Juliana DiMaria in that match, and I think I made my thoughts on that situation clear as day when I wiped her out with a suicide dive, the other thing?

You underestimated me Kayla.” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”Heading into that match you treated me as an afterthought, some teenage rookie being fed to the lions, and yeah, at that point in my SCW career? I was just a few months short of my 20th birthday and had only been in SCW since the previous September, why wouldn’t you, the almighty Kayla Richards underestimate the young, hungry and inexperienced Harper Mason?”

Harper smirks a bit as she flips some hair over her shoulder.

”Except that came dangerously close to biting you on the ass, didn’t it Kayla?” Harper asked rhetorically before leaning forward. ”You thought that match was going to be a walk in the park but I made you work for that win! Even had you on the verge of tapping out thanks to my submission expertise, what can I say? Being a former high school wrestling standout comes with its perks.

But that begs the question Kayla, are you going to make the same mistake in Oslo as you did in Turkey?” Harper added as she looked right at the camera. ”Because really Kayla? The only things that have changed about me in the year that’s passed since our first match is that I’m a year older and a few months closer to being able to drink legally back home in Vegas and that I’m in my second full year as an SCW Bombshell, but you? The kinks have started to show in your armour Kayla, you lost the World Bombshell Title once and while you did reclaim it in the chamber, let’s be honest with ourselves here: how much longevity is there in reign #2?”

The Rock In Bar was one of several metal bars in Oslo and given that Norway was the birthplace of Black Metal? That wasn’t surprising, what was surprising was the conversation Josh was having with Harper as they were enjoying themselves in the bar.

“Harper, I have enough headaches with it is with Cassie campaigning to get Drew Patton fired over his officiating of her Blast from the Past match.” Josh sighed after he set his drink down and Harper nodded. “Now I have your whole situation with the Lyons on top of that.”

”Trust me Josh, I was just as surprised when they approached me after Eddie’s match as they were.” Harper admitted as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And I’m glad Cass stepped in when she did but I can’t get what Victoria was saying to me out of my head, especially considering the opportunities Cassie has gotten in her short time in SCW.”

“Let’s just get that out of the way, I don’t have as much influence over yours and Cassie’s bookings as I’d like in SCW, much like I did when I wrestled in the men’s division I have to take whatever you and Cassie get as they come and trust me, if I could’ve campaigned for you to get a chamber qualifier, I would’ve.”

”And that, in turn, would’ve saved Christian a lot of headaches as it related to setting the match up.” Harper responded dryly and Josh nodded in agreement. ”But I guess another part of it is when that qualifier would’ve been booked and against who? Song or Seleana? Bobbie or Prudence?”

“Sounds like a no win situation either way.” Josh nodded in agreement before shifting the topic. “But what about your rematch with Kayla on Sunday? It’s non title like your first match against her but unlike last time Juliana is unlikely to make an appearance.”

”I know she’s in the Blast from the Past Tournament and, well, her match hasn’t happened  yet so it’s safe to say that it’ll be one of the final four matches to take place next week.” Harper responded after thinking over the past two shows. ”Which of course means Kayla will try to say that I only did as well as I did because Julianna got involved.”

“It’s your job to prove her wrong if she does say that.” Josh responded after thinking for a moment and Harper nodded in agreement. “Maybe even score the upset of the year.”

”Easier said than done off course.” Harper responded before they returned to enjoying the music and the scene in general.

As Harper gets ready for her final vlog of the week regarding her match against Kayla in this Sunday’s Main Event Harper is back in front of her laptop with her arms crossed.

”I bet you think you’ve got this all figured out, don’t you Kayla?” Harper asked as she looked at her nails playfully. ”You just took back the World Bombshell Title from Andrea in the Main Event of Blaze of Glory XII, you’re back on top of the food chain, the queen of the mountain, but then, something wicked this way comes! And by that I mean our rematch.

See, Kayla, this isn’t as black and white as you want it to be, this isn’t going to be an easy win for you so you can reestablish your dominance of the Bombshell Division all over again, this isn’t going to be a repeat of that match we had in Turkey.” Harper added as she shook her head with a look of determination on her face. ”You don’t want to admit it, I get that, your ego’s too fragile to admit it Kayla but I came THIS CLOSE to scoring the upset of the year when we wrestled in Turkey one year ago, and now, almost a year later, do you really think you’re going to repeat history against me?”

Harper shakes her head.

”Tell me, how did repeating history against Andrea work out when you faced her at Inception VI? You beat her at High Stakes sure, but you couldn’t get the job done the second time around and the only reason why you have that gold now is because the bosses added you and Andrea to the World Bombshell Title Match at Blaze of Glory! Call it what you want Kayla because I’m seeing it for what it its!” Harper added before leaning in on her desk. ”You’re not as invincible as you think!

Sure, you lost the Mixed Tag Titles to the Lyons in the lead up to High Stakes but that can at least be put on Finn’s shoulders since Eddie pinned him to win the match, but who could you blame when you lost the World Bombshell Title?” Harper asked rhetorically before smirking as she knew the answer already. ”No one but yourself and this Sunday I’m going to put some more kinks in your armour when I defeat you!”

It's that simple.

”I don’t know if this is Victoria’s influence over me coming to the service already but any way you look at it? This has the makings of the upset of the year!” Harper added as she rested her hands behind her head. ”And this Sunday I will be laser focussed on making that dream a fucking reality when I knock the biggest bitch in the Bombshell Division down a peg or ten.”

And wit that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”And I can already hear your ego going into overdrive as you try to deny everything I just said, go ahead, try.” Harper added as a wide smirk appeared on her face. ”It’ll just make my win over you that much sweeter because the world needs a new hero ad her name is “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason! See you in the ring Kayla!”

It was late Sunday night at Climax Control #420 and Harper is sitting on a crate backstage, still sweaty from her Internet Contenders Match against Alicia and Crystal, the young wrestler has a big grin on her face as she starts her vlog.

”Before tonight, I was wondering what I’d have to do to get a rematch with Bella, short of pulling a trick out of Jessie’s playbook of course.” Harper commented as she ran a hand through her wavy, dirty blonde hair. ”As it turned out? I only had to wait two weeks and win a contenders match! I bet everyone expected either Alicia or Crystal to win the Triple Threat Match tonight but instead?

My name is not only on the Blaze of Glory card AND opening the show but Alicia and Crystal? They are nowhere to be seen!” Harper added with a grin as she brushed some hair out of her eyes. ”Granted the Elimination Chamber Match probably isn’t helping there considering that six Bombshells they could’ve faced are in that match instead but after the hell Alicia put me through last year? Can you say karma?”

Anyway.

”it is a bit of a bitch, ain’t it? Anyway, with that win I’m entering second Supercard of the year with a rematch with Bella in my sights! And one thing I focussed way too much on the first time around was the past so consider this the last time I’m gonna mention it!”  Harper added with a determined look on her face. ”Bella, you’re a hell of a competitor and you showed that when you dethroned Aleesha in your rematch with her at Inception VI but I’m back for round two and I’m determined to see that same scenario play out against you!

Irony can a be sweet mistress, can’t it?” Harper asked with a grin on her face. ”There is one piece of history I will bring up though, twelve years ago, when I was eight years old, my cousin Jessie won her first singles title at Blaze of Glory II! And now, twelve years later? I aim to repeat history by repeating Jessie’s feat! But hey, at least there’s no Team Erick BS to get in our way, right?”

Harper shakes her head.

”Of course, the Internet Titles weren’t even a thing back then, but who’s counting? Not me, the only thing I’m counting is on myself to get the job done in two weeks’ time!” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”I said that I was out to make history as the youngest ever Bombshell Internet Champion and come Blaze of Glory? I fully intend to make good on that promise.

As the lyrics to one of my favourite songs go: “I’ll Touch he Sun”, question is, will I go down in a Blaze of Glory in the process?” Harper asked before shaking her head. ”Not if I can help it!”

It was the morning after the Go Home Show for Blaze of Glory XII and Harper is laying on her bed in her hotel room just staring at the ceiling with her hands behind her head, clearly deep in thought.

”Last cycle I was only added to the Inception VI Card thanks to Seleana signing a new contract.” Harper muttered to herself as she thought back to that night before shaking her head. ”This time around? I beat two Hall of Famers to earn my spot and I’m challenging for the Bombshell Internet Title in the opener! Bella beat me to retain her title in her first defence a few weeks ago but in Tucson? I get a chance to turn that around.”

Harper’s train of thought was interrupted by a knock at the door and she got up and answered, her manager Joshua Acquin was standing there. “Morning Harper, ready for breakfast?” Josh greeted her and Harper started playing with her messy hair. “Or did you just wake up?”

”I’ve been up for the past hour, just haven’t gotten out of bed because I was thinking about my rematch with Bella.” Harper admitted as she shook her head and Josh nodded in understanding. ”So, how’s Jessie taking how Wresttleleague ended?”

“Not well, she thinks the ref made the wrong call and insists that Marisol was tapping before the three count.” Joshua responded as he shook his head. “She still has one match left against Molly Hatchet but you know how she gets when Jessie feels she’s been wronged.”

”I’ve been told that I got my stubborn streak from Jessie and Wresttleleague has me agreeing with them.” Harper sighed as she shook her head. ”Anyway, my match with Bella is going to be my focus for the next two weeks, and I’m sure Cassie’s focus is going to be on the Main Event!” Harper added before pausing she thought about something. ”How is you being Cassie’s manager going to work when she’s in the chamber? I know you’ve been hands off with us since you became our manager but there’s still a steel chamber between you and her?”

“I’ll give her my guidance but even if I got as involved as Brooke does? There’s going to be an army of referees there ready to kick me out if I do interfere.” Josh explained and Harper nodded as she sat down at her computer. “But that’s a conversation for me and Cassie, what you need to think about is the rematch.”

”I’ve been thinking about it since I won the contenders match last night, hell I filmed my first vlog whilst I was at Climax Control.” Harper responded as she folded her arms. ”Two things are running through my head going into this: one, I’m not focussing as much on the past as I did in my first title match against Bella, two: I won the first match against Bella a year ago, Bella won the rematch and I want to win the tiebreaker and win my first title in SCW.”

“If nothing else you proved in the second match that you and Bella create magic together as opponents.” Josh nodded in agreement and Harper grinned a bit at that. “And you do have a good track record of winning toe breakers, your match against Bobbie at High Stakes for example.”

”At least this time I’m not fighting to put my opponent in a baby suit, and I just realized how strangely that match stipulation has aged since Bobbie got pregnant recently.” Harper commented with a chuckle and Josh had a bit of a laugh at that. ”And yeah, I’m happy for Bobbie and all but you gotta admit, Cassie had a point about how that just further complicated the already convoluted qualification process for the women’s Chamber match.”

“I can’t even fault Cassie for her post match comments, at that point only Bobbie knew about the pregnancy as far as the SCW roster is concerned.”  Josh admitted as he shook his head and Harper nodded in agreement. “Any thoughts?”

”Aside from “Jessie was damn lucky that she didn’t get pregnant until after she let her SCW Contract expire”? Not a lot.” Harper shrugged her shoulders. ”Though I am getting hungry.”

“Good thing too, breakfast is on me.” Joshua responded before he led his charge out of the hotel room. “And don’t worry, with my help you will be the youngest ever Bombshell Internet Champion heading into the next cycle, wherever it takes place.”

”Did you forget about the whole “jinxing me before an Internet Title Match” incident that happened before my first title match against Bella?” Harper protested as she glanced up at her manager. ”Because last I checked? I didn’t dethrone Bella on that night.”

“I know, but this didn’t happen on the same night, we’re not even in the right Arizonan city.” Josh reminded Harper and she nodded once she realized that he had a point. “And don’t worry, I’ll try to avoid jinxing you this time.”

”Careful.” Harper teased him as they walked towards the elevator. ”You might end up jinxing yourself about not jinxing me!” Harper added before they headed to the elevator.

We cut to Harper in her plane seat as she, Josh and Cassie are flying back to Las Vegas following the Go Home show for Blaze of Glory XII, the young wrestler clearly has a bit on her mind.

”So, just to get the obvious out of the way, I’m trying to keep this vlog quiet because, well……….” Harper panned the camera over to show Josh and Cassie asleep in their seats next to hers. ”I don’t want to disturb their beauty sleep and as for the other thing? My phone’s on Airplane Mode and I won’t be uploading this vlog until I’m back in Las Vegas.

So why film while I’m on a flight that’ll take just over an hour? Why not?” Harper asked rhetorically before shifting her weight. ”I know I have a lot on my mind heading into the title rematch with Bella at Blaze of Glory and I figured why not get those thoughts out there while they’re still in my mind? So, here I am, about 45 Minutes away from Las Vegas getting ready to cut my second promo while in the air, hope the jet lag is worth it at least!”

Harper shakes her head.

”So yeah, you guys know the story heading into the match by now, one year ago I won the first match between me and Bella, two weeks ago Bella retained the title in her first defence against me.” Harper stated as she rested her head upon the palm of her hand. ”However I do have a good track record of winning the tie breaker and I hope to keep that up at Blaze of Glory! I know Bella’s a hell of a wrestler and fought tooth and nail to win the title not just once but twice!

But you know who’s worked just as hard to get back in this position? Yours truly!” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”So in short? This match with come down to who wants the title more: the champion who’s determined to make up for her lacklustre first reign, as far as length is concerned that is, or the twenty year old Bombshell who’s out to make history by becoming the youngest ever Bombshell Internet Champion!”

It was the day after the second vlog and Harper is visiting Jessie at her home in Las Vegas though the veteran Bombshell isn’t in the best of moods.

”You’ll forgive me for not being in a great mood Harp.” Jessie stated as she walked through the house with Harper behind her. ”And I trust that Josh explained why.”

”Yeah, I asked him about it when we were still in Phoenix.” Harper commented with a nod as she folded her arms. ”So I’m not going to dwell on it, but I am going to come to you for advice ahead of the title match against Bella.”

”Well, you’ve already seen the end result of dwelling too much on your past with Bella, otherwise I’d be talking to the Bombshell Internet Champion heading into her first defence.” Jessie responded as she turned to Harper. ”But that aside? How are you going to go about this differently?”

”Basically trying to correct where I went wrong in my first rematch with Bella.” Harper sighed as she thought back to the match. ”I took Bella to the limit in round one but I didn’t get the job done, this time around? I’m walking out the Bombshell Internet Champion! And I can already hear you saying “it’s not going to be that easy”.”

”Am I really that predictable? Maybe me being a mother has made me gone soft.” Jessie grunted before shaking her head. ”That aside, Bella was one of several wrestlers I’m disappointed that I never got a chance to wrestle, her mother Laura was the closest I got.” Jessie added as she shook her head. ”And even then I only wrestled her twice when I was the Bombshell Roulette Champion, you fought Laura in her retirement match at that year’s High Stakes so you know how tough the individual members of her family are.”

”Laura was a good intro to how tough the competition is at the SCW PPV level, and that wasn’t even a championship match.” Harper nodded in agreement as she looked to the side. ”My matches against Mercedes and Bobbie helped reinforce that fact but after waiting just over two years? I’m ready to win my first title.”

”I didn’t have to wait that long to win my first title, even less time if you remember that my Tag Team Title Reign with Becky “Ragdoll” Jones a few months prior, but I know the feeling.” Jessie nodded in understanding before motioning towards the stairs to the home gym. ”And I will help you prepare for the match! In the meantime, you want to get some reps in the home gym?”

”Was hoping you’d say that.” Harper responded with a grin before following Jessie down to the home gym.

As Harper gets ready for her final vlog of the first week the future challenger for the Bombshell Internet Championship has a determined look on her face.

”Will the third time be the charm at Blaze of Glory? Will I win my first title and defeat Bella in the opening match at Blaze of Glory?”  Harper asked as she paced around the ring. ”Personally? I believe My Time Has Come! Bella is a tough opponent sure but so am I and that title is within my grasp, so what’s stopping me from dethroning Bella?

Simple, me repeating the mistakes I made in my first match against her.” Harper stated as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”I know that’s a lot easier said than done but I won’t back down from this match or the challenge ahead.”

Nope.

”So yeah, this match is going to be tough but I am confident that I will earn my first title in SCW and my first title since my rookie year.” Harper added as she leaned on the ring ropes. ”And yeah, I know where I went wrong in my first match against you Bella and I know how to correct them, in other words Bella? I won’t let you get the better of me again!”

It's that simple.

”I hope you were watching my match against Alicia and Crystal closely Bella because you’d have seen what I can do against Bombshells who’ve beaten me in the past!” Harper added as she grinned broadly. ”Harper Mason: Bombshell Internet Champion! It has a nice ring to it doesn’t it? And I’m sure you feel the same about “Bella Madison: Bombshell Internet Champion” Bella but honestly? My title reign is coming soon!”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”How soon? How about Blaze of Glory XII in two weeks’ time in Tucson, Arizona? Sound good to you Bella? No?” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”Sorry but you don’t always get what you want and in this case? It’s a title reign that lasts past the second defence! I will win my first title in SCW, I will be the youngest ever Bombshell Internet Champion and I will celebrate the night away in Tucson! Because the world needs a new Bombshell Internet Champion and hero and her name is “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason!”

We cut to the backstage area of Climax Control, the show has just concluded with HB Carter claiming one of the last slots in the men’s Elimination Chamber Match and we see Harper leaning against Josh’s car as she gets ready to film her vlog.

”Gotta admit, while I was hoping that I’d get a match at some point? Didn’t expect to get my first title match of the year this early, especially when it’s for the Bombshell Internet Championship.” Harper started as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And yet? Here I am, serving as Bella’s first challenger after she won the belt back from Aleesha Jones at Inception VI! Am I complaining? Please, I only complain when I don’t get a chance to compete, let alone compete in a title match.

And it’s funny, because around this time last year? Me and Bella were competing to see who’d challenge Bobbie Dahl for the Bombshell Roulette Title at My Bloody Valentine II.” Harper commented as she let out a deep breath. ”Okay, that match actually happened at the tail end of January 2024 but you get the idea, this isn’t the first time I’ve faced Bella, just the first time I’ve faced her for the title, and considering I won our first match?”

Harper grins a bit.

”No disrespect to Bella but I like my chances! Especially considering the last time I faced Bella was in that tag match with Aleesha and Cassie and I think I’ve ranted enough about how that match ended at this point!” Harper grunted as she shook her head. ”I mean seriously, why was that double pin allowed to happen in the first? That match wasn’t a tornado tag! Sorry, I guess I still have some lingering resentment over that bullshit!

But Aleesha’s contract expired after Inception and Cassie’s in the Elimination Chamber match, so I guess the question is Bella, where does that leave us?” Harper asked before grinning a bit. ”Well, if this match goes my way? I’ll win my first title in SCW, maybe the bosses will book a rematch for Blaze of Glory and we’ll take things from there? Of course. Before I can even think about that, I need to win this match first and I now you’re a tough cookie Bella, especially when the title’s on the line, but are you tough enough to retain the title over little old me? We’ll find out in Fresno, won’t we.”

It was the morning after Climax Control 417 and Harper has been up for a few hours now, the thought of her upcoming title  match is still on her mind.

”Man, this match is almost a year removed from my Roulette Title Match with Bobbie.” Harper muttered to herself as she checked the date of her first title match in SCW. ”A year and two weeks to be precise but still, maybe this is a sign of some sort?”

Before Harper could dwell any further on that idea there was a knock at the door and she got up to answer it, seeing er manager Joshua Acquin on the other side when she opened the door. “Morning Harper, you’re not usually up and ready this early.” Josh commented and Harper grinned a bit. “Can I come in?”

”Yeah, sure, just about got everything packed away for the return trip to Vegas aside from my Laptop.” Harper responded before she returned to her room and Josh followed her in. ”And I couldn’t get much sleep last night, kept thinking about the match with Bella on Sunday Night.”

“It is easily the biggest match of 2024 for you to date.” Josh nodded in understanding as he sat on the bed. “But it’s also noy your first title match, first match for the Bombshell Internet Championship? Yeah, but your first title match was a year ago against Bobbie Dahl.”

”That’s the thing Josh, I’ve been thinking about how the dates of my upcoming match with Bella and my title match with Bobbie are lining up in a way.” Harper explained as she shook her head before showing her the dates on her match record doc. ”First match with Bella happened on the 21st of January 2024, my title match against Bobbie happened a few weeks later on the 16th of February, only match missing from the this is my match against Tempest and she hasn’t been seen or heard from in a while.”

“And there’s every chance she’ll return for the Blast from the Past Tournament, besides, I thought you weren’t in a hurry to wrestle Tempest one on one again?” Josh pointed out and Harper nodded to confirm that that was the case. “Besides, it’s likely a coincidence, the bosses had to change a few plans because of the cancellation of the match between Song and Seleana Zdunich, the rematch with Bella could be one such change.”

”I know, but I still can’t help but think that it’s a sign of some kind.” Harper responded as she leaned back in her chair. ”Cassie is busy with the Elimination Chamber Match, especially since it was confirmed that the Bombshell Match is for the World Bombshell Title, so she’s busy as hell right now, so yeah, it’s not like I could’ve been doing anything else?”

“Unless they had you pencilled for a qualifier match but that got changed.” Josh nodded in response and Harper let out a deep breath. “I know you were thinking about the chamber match when Cassie got her qualifier.”

“Yeah, and I’m glad I didn’t get a qualifier match in hindsight, don’t get me wrong, it’s a huge opportunity and I know Cassie’s going to do everything she can to be the youngest ever World Bombshell Champion but I was also worried about it being the High Stakes Rumble all over again.” Harper explained and Josh nodded in understanding as he got the idea. “But if I do beat Bella on Sunday night? It pretty much guarantees me a spot on PPV Cards for the length of the reign and my stock in the company will skyrocket.”

“It also means that you’ll be a target.” Josh pointed out as he folded his arms. “Just look at how many Bombshells jumped at the chance to answer Jessie’s open challenge during the last cycle of her Bombshell Roulette Title Reign.”

”Laura Phoenix, AKA Bella’s mom, in week one, Georgie Robertson at the Go Home Show for that cycle, I know.” Harper nodded in response before she let out a deep breath. ”But I know all about that! For Christ’s sake I won three titles in my rookie year and the only reason I still own one of them is because the fed went under while I was champ, I know the danger and pressure that comes with being a wrestling champion.”

“Good to know that you’re not naïve about what it means to be a champion, and I know Cassie had similar success in her rookie year so I should expect a similar conversation with her about the chamber.” Josh nodded as he got the idea. “Either way? I will be training both of you to get you ready for the match, might be a good idea to talk to Jessie about the match too.”

”I’ll stop by her house once I’m back in Vegas, maybe get some reps at the Home Gym.” Harper nodded in response to before letting out a yawn. ”Might be a good idea to get some breakfast before we go though.”

“Just what I was thinking.” Josh responded before they left the hotel room.

It’s been about twelve hours since Harper woke up in Bakersfield with her match against Bella on her mind and Harper is ready to do her second vlog.

”Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it, and while there are certainly to be made about certain people in power? I’m referring to my own personal history with title matches.” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”But at the same time I can’t dwell too much on the past, at some point? I have to start thinking about my future, well, at least my future as a champion in SCW and my match against Bella.

It's not like I haven’t been a champion before, you see that championship title above my mantlepiece?” Harper asked as she showed the title. ”The KCW TV Title, sadly I was the last ever champion as the fed went under while I was champion but they were kind enough to let me keep the title, that was one of three titles I won in my rookie year and it is the only title I still hold, and yeah, it’s because the fed went under.”

Harper sighs.

”Sad thing is? I never got to my first defence, but yeah, you get the general idea, my history with championships may be murky, but it’s still something I can build towards a future with!” Harper added as she turned the camera back towards her. ”And that future, as far as I’m concerned, involves the Bombshell Internet Championship being around my waist! I know Bella is a hell of a wrestler and has worked hard to earn her first title, but guess what?

So have i! I’ve been grinding away at the Bombshell Division for three years now and I’m not about to let this opportunity slip me by.” Harper added as she grinned broadly. ”We have be one year on from our first match Bella but aside from what’s at stake and the dates? Nothing’s changing, I’m still walking out the winner! But this time I’m walking out with more than just bragging rights to my name, because if you ask me? Being the youngest ever Bombshell Internet Champion at twenty sounds pretty sweet to me, especially if I make it to my twenty first birthday in September as champion!”

It was the following morning and Harper was visiting the home of her older cousin/SCW Hall of Famer Jessie Salco, the thirty five year old wrestler is currently feeding her Chow Chow Titan.

”And that’s basically it.” Harper stated after she brought Jessie up to date on the upcoming title match. ”Aside from the coincident about the dates, I’m focussed on winning my first title in SCW.”

”Take it from someone who won her first title twelve years ago at Blaze of Glory, I’ve been there.” Jessie commented after setting the dish down letting the dog chomp away at his food. ”While my first reign was short, with the Roulette Title and a few years before the Internet Championships were created? You never forget your first title, question have is: how much are you focussing on the past?”

”Not too much, sure I’ve brought it up as it relates to my history with Bella but that’s about it.” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”Of course I want to win my first title and as much as I’d like to repeat history with the Roulette Title Victoria is busy with Alexandra right now so I guess Bella’s the next best thing in that regard.”

”I suppose so, but if you want a better chance at winning the title? You’ll listen to what I have to say.” Jessie responded as she started to lead Harper out of the kitchen and into the living room. ”Forget about the past and focus on your future.”

”That’s it?” Harper asked with a confused look before she sat down on the couch. ”No offense Jess but wasn’t most of your SCW Career all about your past Especially when it came to titles and ESPECIALLY when it comes to the World Bombshell Title?”

”And look at where that got me in the end, I lost a lot more title matches than I won and it took me years to get the respect I deserve.” Jessie sighed bitterly as she sat down opposite Harper. ”When I signed on as your manager in SCW it was to ensure that you didn’t make the same mistakes that I did in the past and while Josh took over after my health scare and pregnancy reveal? That still applies, I just have to do it away from the shows these days even with Wrestleleague wrapping up.”

”Right, got it.” Harper nodded as she got the idea. ”Can I at least get some reps in at the home gym?” Harper asked and Jessie nodded before the two women head downstairs.

As Harper got ready for the final part of her vlogs for the title match with Bella the twenty year old wrestler has quite a bit on her mind as she leans on the ring ropes in Jessie’s home gym.

”I know I’ve been focussing a lot on history but you know what I’m also focussed on? Making history!” Harper added as she flipped some haor over her shoulder. ”Youngest ever Bombshell Internet Champion has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? And it’s a record that’s unlikely to ever get broken because, well how many other teenage/under the age of twenty one you know and are as good in the ring as me?

Go on, I’ll wait for your answer.” Harper waited for a few seconds before shaking her head. ”Time’s up, and I bet you couldn’t think of many right? Just as I thought! Of course, to set that record? I need to win this match and I know that it’ll be easier said than done! Even without bringing my past into it? Well, that’s just the nature of the beast that is title matches, isn’t it?”

Harper asked rhetorically before she grinned a bit.

”People want to be champion, people want the recognition, for their names to be in the history books, but how many actually recognize or appreciate the hard work that actually goes into the title match?” Harper asked before shaking her head. ”Me and Bella know that all top well and this Sunday we’ll both bust our asses to secure our futures as the Bombshell Internet Champion!

For Bella? It means that she’ll have made it past the first defence, for me? It’ll mean me winning my first title in SCW.” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”Any way you look at it, this match is between two young women with everything to gain from winning this match, but I’m the only one here who has everything to gain from winning the match and I plan on cashing in.”

It’s that simple.

”Will this be easy? Hell no, if it was easy to beat Bella then she wouldn’t be the Bombshell Internet Champion, never mind a 2x Champion!” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”But all the same? I’m not backing down from this match and if I don’t walk out the champion? I’ll at least go down fighting and trust me Bella, I won’t back down!”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”This may be turning point of my SCW Career if I win on Sunday but Bella won’t make this easy by any means, that said?”  Harper added as she flashed the devil horns. ”I’m going to make Bella fight like hell in this match and if io do win? Then I’ll of course celebrate first and worry about what this means for Blaze of Glory for me and the title later, if I lose? Then I’ll at least be satisfied knowing that I made Bella work for it! However? I don’t plan on losing because the world needs a new hero and her name is “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason, see you on Sunday Bella!”

”So, I know this isn’t exactly the first time I’ve made my voice heard about not being booked for an SCW Show, especially a big one like, say, the first Supercard of the New Year.” Harper commented with a sigh as she ran a hand through her hair. ”And it won’t be the last, look, I’m an extremely competitive person, okay? I thrive when I wrestle because of that fact! I was competitive when I was doing High School Wrestling and I was competitive when I worked my ass off to earn my Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do!

You deny a person like a chance to compete? They get frustrated, simple, I showed that when I found my bookings drying up in the run up to High Stakes and, well, we all know what happened there! And as if my and Cassie getting pinned at the same time at Climax Control wasn’t bad enough? I initially didn’t make the cut for Inception!” Harper sighs in frustration. ”Initially being the key word, because I just learned two things: one: Seleana Zdunich literally just renewed her contract with SCW, two: they felt like squeezing her in on the Inception VI card and needed an opponent and well, I have a match now!”

Harper grins broadly as she brushes some hair over her shoulder.

”And in a way? It’s kinda funny, my matches against Seleana to date have all been multi-woman matches: Queen for a Day Ladder Match? Faced her in that, when I had that mini feud with Bobbie? Faced her and Crystal in a tag team match with Bobbie, and off course the High Stakes Rumble Match which was Seleana’s last appearance until now.” Harper added as she leaned on the desk. ”And now we’re finally facing off one on one Sel and on paper? This is an easy win for you, right?

Since when was anything in wrestling so set in stone?” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”Yeah, it’s a former World and Bombshell Roulette Champion going up against someone who just entered her second year as a wrestler but I said it once and I’ll say it again: it’s now been six years since Seleana held a title in SCW and her stock has fallen pretty far since then, while me? Recent setbacks aside? I’ve been on the rise and while I will be getting my first win of the year at Inception VI? Better late than never, right?”

The scene opens as Harper is entering Josh’s gym and the manager of both Young Justice members is waiting for her, Harper clearly has a lot on her hand as she sits on the Ring Apron.

”What a week!” Harper grunted as she leaned her head back against the ring ropes. ”First we had the double pin in the tag team match, which shouldn’t have counted because, well, it wasn’t a Tornado Tag Match, then I find out that I didn’t make the card for Inception VI and now I have!”

“I’m surprised that you’re complaining about this.” Josh commented as he shook his head and Harper let out a deep breath. “You’re one of the most competitive young women I’ve ever met Harper, less we forget the whole mess that led to your match against Bobbie at High Stakes!”

”I don’t think I’m likely to forget about that match for a while! Definitely one of the more unique matches I’ve seen or been in and it wasn’t even a Roulette Rules Match!” Harper responded as she shook her head. ”The fact that Bobbie lost the match and had to wear the baby costume makes it all the more ironic considering the match was her idea! Anyway, who said I was complaining? I was just commenting om how much of a roller coaster this week has been and we’re only on Tuesday!”

“True enough.” Josh nodded in agreement as he leaned against the ring ropes. “I’m half expecting Brooke and Logan to release a sex tape at this rate.”

”Brooke I wouldn’t mind, that woman may be a bitch but even I have to admit that she’s fucking gorgeous, Logan though?” Harper asked before shuddering involuntarily. ”Give me that mental image again and I might seriously consider firing you as my manager!”

“Fair enough, and besides, I know your not here to talk about that.” Josh responded with a nod and Harper grinned. “It’s the match against Seleana isn’t it? Cassie told me about it over text right before you arrived.”

”Where is Cass anyway? I would’ve thought she’d be here preparing for her match with Crystal.” Harper asked as she looked around for her Aussie friend but didn’t see her. ”So what’s up?”

“Cassie is finally moving back to Vegas, she flat out told me that she was sick of the commute from Reno and there’s nothing left for her there anyway.” Josh explained and Harper nodded as she got the idea. “I’ll be helping her with the move tomorrow, I would’ve thought the fine for slapping guy would hinder that but she still has money left over apparently.”

”And now I’m wondering where she got the money from.” Harper admitted as she ran a hand through her hair. ”But yeah, I’m here to train for the match with Seleana, and no, the fact that Cassie’s facing her wife isn’t lost on me, though considering she just renewed her contract with SCW it’s probably just a coincidence.”

“Sounds like negotiations took longer than either Seleana or the bosses thought they would, it would explain why she missed the first two shows of the year and the Christmas Special.” Josh reasoned with a shrug and Harper nodded in agreement. “And look, I know it’s been a while since Seleana last held gold in Sin City but she’s still a lot more experienced than you and a former champion.”

”And how many times have I faced and defeated former champions in SCW?” Harper asked as she folded her arms. ”And the experience thing? ”This match may have been added to the card at the last minute but I’m still treating this like any other match.” Harper commented as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”Did I think that tweet I made after the initial card was put out would result in anything? I mean, just look at the Violent Conduct card from last year, made a similar tweet after missing out on it but got nothing off it! But here I am, promoting a match against Seleana.

Why? I mean, this is our first singles match since, as I pointed out last time, all our other matches have been multi-women matches.” Harper commented before shrugging. ”It all comes down to happenstance really, Seleana just renewed her contrat, they felt the need to add her to the card, I was making noise about missing out, win-win, am I right?”

Harper shook her head.

”Not in the literal sense because unless it ends in a draw? Either I pick up my first win since High Stakes, not to mention of the year, or Seleana starts off her new contract with a W.” Harper stated as she folds her arms. ”And the way I see it Seleana? I’m not walking out of my first Supercard of the year without getting a win, you’ve seen what I can do in multi-woman matches but one on one?

Well, to put it bluntly? That’s where I’m the most focussed.” Harper commented as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”Only one opponent and the ref to worry about, easy enough right? But there’s still the fact that you’re a former World Bombshell Champion and a former Bombshell Roulette Champion, and while I could harp on about how I was fourteen when you held those titles? How about I focus on something else? Like the legacy of those reigns?”

Yep.

”The World Bombshell Title Reign, won it from Alicia in the middle of your war with Christian Underwood with Crystal’s help, reign didn’t even last two weeks before Alicia won it back, the Bombshell Roulette Title Reign? Practically gift wrapped for you after Crystal won the Queen for a Day Ladder Match, held it for a three month reign that barely anyone remembers and then lost it to Johanna Krieger.” Harper added as she smirked a bit. ”And let’s be honest, that’s the most anyone’s ever thought about Krieger in years!

But do you see my point Seleana? You owe all your success to your wife in the most literal way possible and without her? You’ve floundered in the division.” Harper added before she leaned against the ring ropes. ”At least when I eventually win my first title in SCW I’ll know that I won it without anyone’s help because that’s the kind of competitor that I am! Can you say the same?”

It’s the late morning at Hero Academy and Harper jas just showed up for a day of training with Zara.

”Sorry I’m late Z.” Harper apologized to the taller woman who greeted her with a fist bump. ”Forgot to set the alarm and I slept in as a result.”

“No worries, there’s still a ring for us to use.” Zara responded as she motioned to the vacant ring. “Go get changed and I’ll wait for you in the ring.”

”Sounds good, and thanks.” Harper nodded in response to before she headed to the women’s changing room to get changed into her wrestling gear, once she was ready to train Harper joined Zara in the ring, as they warmed up for the sparring session Harper spoke up. ”So what’s been happening here since I was training at Josh’s Gym?”

“Lots of talk about that tag match and none of it good, pretty much everyone agrees that the ref did you and Cass dirty by allowing that double pin to happen.” Zara responded as she shook her head and Harper nodded in agreement. “Almost like Aleesha had another ref if her back pocket.”

”Let’s not start off my morning with conspiracy theories, I have enough headaches from the stress sleeping in caused me.” Harper grunted as she continued her warm up. ”Besides, accusing an SCW Ref of corruption without proof is a surefire way to get in trouble with the bosses, at least with Guy he’s being so blatant about his biases that it’s not even funny!”

“True enough on both counts.” Zara nodded in agreement she folded her arms. “At least you’ve got a match with Seleana out of the deal.”

”Yeah, finally a one on one match with the blonde half of the Zdunichs after mostly wrestling her in matches with more than one opponent!” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”While Cass is dealing with her wife.”

“Talk about a family affair, at least in the metaphorical sense with Cassie.” Zara responded with a grin before both women finished their warm up. “Anyway, ready when you are Harp.”

”Let’s do it!” Harper responded with a grin before the two women started sparring.

We cut to Harper as she gets ready to cut her final vlog promo of the week.

”Wasn’t expecting to film vlogs this week or reasons I’ve already brought up twice but yeah, here I am!” Harper commented as she leaned forward on the desk. ”And this match with Seleana might be a bit different from my two High Stakes Matches, I mean literally the only thing those matches have in common with this is that Seleana’s my opponent, I’m not treating them any differently.

Why? Because I view each match I compete in as a chance to prove myself and this match is no different Seleana!” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”That’s what I get so upset when the bosses can’t be bothered to book me after all the hard work I’ve put in since signing! How can I prove myself when they don’t even book me? And when I do make my voice heard they call me entitled or a cry-baby, because god forbid a rookie wrestler has enough backbone to stand up herself!”

Harper lets out an annoyed grunt.

”And yet I’m the one who leaves idiots like that shut up when I put on banger after banger when I am booked! And considering I’m the youngest active wrestler on the roster? What does that say about certain women who became complacent?” Harper asked with a frown on her face. ”Who knows Seleana? Maybe the contract negotiations lit a fire under your ass and your back to the old you but either way?

For a while you were complacent with your spot on the card, so again, I ask.” Harper said as she tilts her head a bit. ”Aside from the renewed contract, has anything really changed Seleana?”

It’s that simple.

”Gues we’ll find out when we clash in our last minute match at Inception VI, won’t we?” Harper asked as she grins a bit. ”Personally? I like my chances in this match but we’ll see how it goes, won’t we? A lot can happen in two weeks, maybe you’ll rediscover that fire you once had? Or maybe you’ll lose in your first match back and I’ll get the win? Either way, I’m looking forward to this!”

And with that Harer decided to wrap things up.

”Was I expecting to get added to the show at the last moment? No, am I going to make the most of this opportunity against you Seleana? Yes!” Harper stated with a grin as she flashed the devil horns. ”And once I do get this win Seleana? Trust me, it’ll just be the beginning of my year, I don’t know what 2025 will bring for me as a Professional Wrestler but there is one thing I know for certain.

I sure as hell am not going to let a bullshit double pin loss that never should’ve happened because for some reason, the ref couldn’t be bothered to do their job and make sure the legal person was being pinned let me down!” Harper added with a frown as she shook her head. ”Yeah, you can add that joke of a tag team match to the list of match results that still make me mad and Bella can go to hell for going along with it! But Seleana? You are the only who’s going to help me get back on track because the world needs a new hero and her name is the “Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason!”

As Harper starts her first Vlog of the New Year the twenty year old wrestler has a lot on her mind as she prepares for her first match of the year.

”Well, I can at least say that 2024 ended just as it started, with me tasting defeat in the opening match, though I guess I can take solace in the fact that it was to Cassie and she’s now challenging Aleesha in the first Internet Title Match of the year as a result, but where does that leave me?” Harper asked with a sigh as she leans back. ”Where else but as one of the three women vying for a shot at Victoria Lyons at Inception VI in a few weeks’ time! I guess I can consider this one hell of a consolation because if me and Cassie win we’ll enter the first PPPV of the year as competitors in title matches.

But I have to look at who I’m facing as well, as I’m taking on two women that I have history with in order to claim the third slot in that match! Alicia Lukas and Bea Barnhart are all that stand in the way of me and that title and I suppose the following reference is relevant: one of these things is not like the other!”

Feel free to take a guess.

”I’m not even talking about the fact that I’m the only woman in this match who hasn’t held a title in SCW, Alicia’s history in the Bombshell Division is well documented and Bea Barnhart held the Mixed Tag Team Titles for a cup of tea! No, I’m talking about the fact that out of me and Bea? Alicia’s the only one who’s never competed in the Roulette Division before, and yet here she is, apparently with her sights set on becoming a Grand Slam Champion.

Not if I can help it, and I’m not about to let Bea Barnhart pull one over on me either, my New Year’s Resolution for 2025 was to basically do everything I failed to do in 2024, you want to know what’s at the top of that list? Win my first title in SCW!”

Harper adds as she flips from hair over her shoulder.

”And just so we’re clear? I don’t care if it happens at the first, third, sixth or hell, last PPV of the year, I’ll wait all year if I have to just as long as I can fulfil that promise to myself!” Harper added before shaking her head. ”But at the same time? sooner that I win my first title in SCW, the better! And hey, this will be my first match of the New Year full stop so can you think of a better way to kick off the New Year?

No? I didn’t think so!”

After a relaxing Christmas Break we find Harper getting some reps in at Josh’s gym as she prepares for this Sunday’s Triple Threat Match.

”Second year in a row where I’ve found myself competing on the opening show of the year.” Harper commented to Josh as she did some kicks into the air as a warm up. ”Only thing missing is me competing in the opening match instead of Bobbie and Bella and history will repeat itself completely.”

“Things do have a way of coming full circle.” Josh nodded in agreement as he watched his charge warm up. “Zara should be here at any moment, any drills you want to run through solo?”

”Not that I can think off.” Harper responded as she shrugged her shoulders and Josh nodded. ”Besides, wrestling is a sport where it takes two to tango! Or three in the case of my match on Sunday.”

“True enough, and you’ve wrestled both Alicia and Bea before.” Josh nodded in response as he folded his arms. “With mixed results.”

”Can we not talk about my first match against Bea? I ranted enough about that when I got my return match against her last October!” Harper groaned as she rolled her eyes and Josh nodded sympathetically. In response. ”And while I lost to Alicia at Summer XXXTreme I can at least say that that the match was up for Match of the Year at High Stakes! Even if it lost out to the World Heavyweight Title Match!”

“True, and if you keep working hard you’ll be up for a lot more some this year’s High Stakes.” Josh assured me and Harper grinned in response right as Zara showed up. “And that starts here, good afternoon Zara.”

“Hey, sorry I’m late, traffic was murder.” Zara apologized as she settled in. “Just give me a sec to get changed into my gear and I’ll be all set Harp.”

”Go ahead.” Harper responded before Zara went into the women’s changing room and Harper backed up to the ring ropes and leaned against them while waiting for her sparring partner to get changed. ”Think Cass is ready for Aleesha?”

“I’ve trained Cass as well as I can for the match so far, she’ll be ready.” Josh assured Harper before Zara emerged from the changing room ready for action. “And if all goes well? You’ll both be in championship matches at Inception VI.”

”Yeah, me against Bobbie and Victoria and Cassie against whoever serves as her first challenger.” Harper nodded in agreement as she glanced over at Zara. ”Provided we win on Sunday off course! Anyway, Zara you ready to go?”

“As always.” Zara responded with a grin before she rolled into the ring and she started sparring with Harper.

”Off course, I can’t talk about this match against Bea and Alicia without bringing up my history with both women who oppose me on Sunday, one’s a respected veteran with a glamorous resume, the other’s Bea Barnhart!” Harper added as she let out a deep breath. ”Off course there’s other things too it! Bea dealt me my first loss in SCW and I avenged that tainted win last October and Alicia literally came out of retirement to kick my ass!

I’m still not sure if the last should be taken as a compliment or not but my point still stands, it’s not like me, Bea and Alicia are strangers to each other but I do have one thing on my mind regarding Alicia.”

Which is?

”Redemption off course, Alicia our first match at Summer XXXTreme may have been a Match of the Year Candidate but you still beat me on that night, will things be any different this Sunday? Don’t bother answering that Alicia because I already know you’re your answer is: fuck no! Am I right? Off course I am! Everyone from Wolfslair is so fucking arrogant that it’s a miracle that anyone puts up with you guys!” Harper added before pausing. ”Then again, that doesn’t explain the fact that Miles Kasey and Bella Madison trained with you guys but I guess that explains why Miles betrayed Wolfslair.

Oh, I’m sorry, was that still too soon? I don’t care.”

As for Bea?

”And then we have Bea Barnhart, the Bombshell Division’s Punching Bag! Who somehow keeps getting opportunities like this.” Harper commented as she rolled her eyes. ”Then again her husband Bill is just as bad but at least he’s held the Men’s Roulette Title! What has Bea Barnhart accomplished again? Oh right, being the one woman in America who spreads more bullshit than politicians and anti-vaxxers combined and held the Mixed Tag Team Titles for what? Two weeks?

Thank god Alicia did the world a favour by booking them against Austin James Mercer and Tempest, that’s all I’m saying! All that said Bea? Sooner or later the bosses will get tired of you repeatedly squandering opportunities like this but until that day comes? I guess we’ll cpntinue to live in Bea’s delusion where she thinks she’s a lot better than she is!”

”Then again there’s probably thousands of men and women in the wrestling business that fit that description and that’s just the wrestlers!” Harper commented as she rolled her eyes. ”Feel free to guess which non wrestling personalities I’m talking about when I say that! Anyway, me. Alicia and Bea all have the same goal, to kick off 2025 with a huge win! But compared to the two old farts?

I’m entering this match with nothing to lose and everything to gain from earning a title shot! For Alicia? It’d just be another notch in her belt for her legendary wrestling career, Bea is just after yet another title shot, me? I want my first title in SCW and those old farts won’t get in my way!”

It’s two days before the first match of the year for Harper and she is relaxing at Jessie’s home with her older cousin.

”So this Marisol has really pissed you off huh?” Harper commented as she sat opposite Jessie and Jessie shook her head. ”I saw that tweet where you apologized for your past misdeeds while dealing with the bosses.”

”Harper, trust me, the last time an opponent pissed me off that much was when me and Any were warring with The Mean Girls!” Jessie responded with an exasperated sigh. ”Only thing that’ll make it right is her elimination from Wrestleleague and I don’t want my blood pleasure to rise so let’s move on! I’ve heard from Josh about your upcoming Triple Threat.”

”The one against Alicia and Bea? I should’ve known he’d tell you about that match.” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”Any tips for dealing with them?”

”If there is a chink in Alicia’s armour it’s her arrogance, then again that goes for Wolfslair in general.” Jessie responded with a frown as she leaned back in her chair. ”As for Bea? Do I even need to say anything about that walking punchline?”

”Guess not, but it was worth asking at least.” Harper commented as she folded her arms. ”Off course we both know the big factor in not just this mastch but the men’s Triple Threat as well.”

”The Roulette Wheel, the thing is Harp? I’ve held the Bombshell Roulette Title five times over the course of my SCW Career, you never get used to the feeling you get while waiting for the damn wheel to stop.” Jessie responded with a frown as she shook her head. ”Sometimes you get something that plays to your strengths, other times you have to adapt to whatever the wheel has thrown at you, there isn’t really any in between when it comes to these matches.”

”The two Roulette Rules Matches I’ve been in to date have been a Ladder Match and a Last Bombshell Standing Match, trust me, I know it all too well.” Harper sighed before she stood up. ”Speaking off, I think it’s time we had those reps downstairs in the home gym.”

”I was wondering when you were planning to bring that up.” Jessie nodded in agreement before she stood up. ”Let’s go.”

”Right behind you.” Harper responded before she followed Jessie downstairs and into the home gym.

”For Alicia, this is just a super late attempt at achieving the Grand Slam, for Bea this is just the first of many underserved opportunities she’s probably going to get this year! But for me?” Harper asked as she folds her arms. ”It’s about the opportunity to finally stamp my mark in SCW Bombshell Division’s history books by winning my first title! That is why I can’t afford to lose this Triple Threat.

Make no mistake, Alicia’s accomplished a lot more than me and Bea may have blackmail on the bosses, because well let’s face it.” Harper adds as she rolls her eyes. ”How else is someone like her getting opportunities like this? But me? My goal has always remained the same since I arrived here in SCW, make my mark on the wrestling business.”

Yep.

”And I can’t make that mark if I don’t win titles, can’t I? I won three during my rookie year, I only hold one of those titles right now and that’s because the fed went under while I was still the champ and they let me keep the title but I digress.” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And I’ll be the first to admit that 2024 was a false start on that front, only had two title matches during that twelve month period and I lost both, you know how it went, but 2025?

2025 is going to be my year!” Harper started with a confident grin. ”I don’t care if it happens at Inception or further down the road, this will be the year where I enter my name in SCW’s history books as a champion! And the sooner I can make good on that promise? The better.”

It’s that simple.

”That is the main reason why the two old farts that stand in my way of the third slot in that title match won’t be in my way for much longer! I have more determination in my little finger to make that dream a reality than most of the women on this roster have in their entire bodies!” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”And trust me, Alicia and Bea? I know exactly what they are thinking heading into this Triple Threat.

Alicia will be all like “pft, Harper and Bea? They may as well have just announced me as the third challenger for Victoria and be done with it!” while Bea will be thinking “I wonder what lies I can spread about my opponents this week?” Harper added as she shook her head mockingly. ”You’d think two women who have been around as long as they have would know not to underestimate an opponent by now but it’s their loss and my gain!”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”And I can’t fucking wait to make them eat their words this Sunday at the first Climax Control of the New Year!” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”Alicia may have the cred and Bea might have the endless title shot cheat code enabled but I’ll bet good money that they don’t have the two things I have in abundance as I enter the new year.

Heart and determination!” Harper stated as she threw up the metal horns. ”Because the world needs a new hero and it’s time the old farts stood aside to let their younger counterparts through, starting with me, “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason! Alicia, Bea, I’ll see you in the ring and bring your walking sticks!”

”Last night’s tag team match against Crystal Zdunich rides the London Underground could’ve gone a lot better.” Harper grunted as she ran a hand through her hair. ”And yeah, I couldn’t think of a better nickname for the tandem, but the long and short of it is? We would’ve had the match won but I missed a Missile Dropkick intended for Mackenzie, hit Cass and she got pinned, as a result? The match that was supposed to resolve me and Cassie’s issues has only made them worse!”

Harper grunted as she ran a hand down her face.

”As a result? Cass is not even speaking with me right now which is pretty fucking awkward when we’re both managed by Josh Aquin! And on that subject? This week I’m facing Alexandra Callaway in singles action.” Harper added before she started pacing around. ”In case you don’t remember, her Roulette Title Match against Jessie basically kickstarted my SCW career at last year’s Violent Conduct, since then? I’ve faced her in a handicap match with Julianna DiMaria, thanks Victoria and then again in the High Stakes Rumble, thus proving that all my recent troubles can be traced back to my decision to wrestle twice at High Stakes!

Well, maybe not all of them but I digress! My point is: how has it taken over a year for a singles match to get booked between us Alexandra?”

Harper asked with an exasperated shrug.

”Then again, it took them a year to book my return match against Bea Barnhart so at this rate I’ll be in my mid-twenties by the time I face Bobbie again.” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”And no. I don’t care if that would be another singles match or multi-woman match. I’m being hypothetical here! Anyway, Alexandra when we first faced off I called you Victoria’s hired gun because that was basically how I viewed you and Julianna heading into that match, second time? Well, I entered myself in the High Stakes Rumble so that couldn’t be helped, especially since we both lost that match, this time?

I’m getting the win!”

Harper has just had dinner at Jessie’s home and the two women are chatting about everything that’s happened lately.

”So yeah, between that tag team match and Christian practically chomping at the bit to book me and Cassie as opponents? Last night didn’t go as I wanted.” Harper stated bluntly as she rested her chin in her hand. ”I know Keira said ut had to happen eventually but I’ll be damned if it makes everyone saying that I did it on purpose right!”

”That’s all good Harper but you still haven’t answered the question I asked you when you popped round for training earlier.” Jessie responded simply and Harper shook her head. ”Did you go into that match planning to screw over Cassie?”

”Did you enter every tag team match you’ve ever competed in, with Amy, Vixen, Becky or whoever else you were teaming with that night, planning to sabotage your own match?” Harper asked pointedly and Jessie frowned before shaking her head. ”That match was supposed to resolve our issues, an exasperate them! But instead Cassie isn’t even talking to me and I couldn’t train with Josh today because he’s trying to avoid us getting in a fight, I’ve actually been advised to avoid Hero Academy because of it.”

”Because whenever that girl’s in the Vegas area, it’s to either attend an SCW show at the Gold Coast or train at Hero Academy, right?” Jessie asked and Harper nodded with a frown on her face. ”Frankly I’m surprised that girl hasn’t moved back to Vegas yet since her relationship with Becky and Zoey ended, but you have bigger problems.”

”My singles match against Alexandra? Yeah, I know.” Harper stated as she shook her head. ”What’s your take on it? You’re the only woman in this room who’s taken her on solo before.”

”And if by that you mean “my last match before I return to the ring for WrestleLeague in the New Year” then yeah, I am.” Jessie responded as she leaned back. ”One thing to remember is that for as young as Alexandra looks? She’s actually one of the oldest in the division, might be the second oldest but I’ve never been that clear on Mercedes’ age, she might look just a couple of years older than you and Cass but she has a wealth of experience over most of the roster, including you.”

”I mean yeah, that’s one of the first things most people know about Alexandra, though lately she’s been enthralled in that feud between LJ, the newcomer Logan and his girlfriend Brooke.” Harper stated with a frown as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”What’s stopping Brooke from getting involved in some way? For all I know this could turn into Sam Marlowe 2.0.”

”If Logan and Brooke have any shenanigans planned for this Sunday? You can bet LJ and Alexandra won’t be far behind to deliver some payback for when she did to LJ’s knee last night.”  Jessie pointed out and Harper nodded as she got the idea. ”In other words? It’s probably a safe bet to put them out of your mind heading into that match, Brooke may be a Go Gym Trainee but she’s a manager, to a wrestler, need I say more?”

”I guess not, I’ll still keep an eye out for her because I know how tough the Go Gym’s training is from firsthand experience.” Harper nodded in agreement as she shifted her weight. ”And if the Go Gym’s trainers can’t toughen her up?”

”Nothing will.” Jessie nodded before the conversation drifted off.

”Tell me Alexandra, where will your mind be when the bell rings?” Harper asked as she leaned back in her chair with a smirk on her face. ”I’m sure your answer will be “on the match” but will it really? When you’ve been dragged into LJ’s mess with the nightmarish newbie and his blasphemous bae can you really concentrate on the match at hand?”

Harper shakes her head.

”I know you’ve been wrestling a lot longer than me Alexandra, that much is obvious but experienced or not? A distracted mind is  still a distracted mind!” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”Let’s take the three rivalries I’ve been in over the past twelve months, Mercedes? Managed to keep a clear head when I faced Courtney Pierce a weak after her initial attack, Alicia? Kept my cool even in defeat to Prudence, Bobbie, off course, is my most recent rivalry and I probably don’t need to go over that again since it literally just happened.

Though I will give Bobbie credit for rocking the baby outfit! And I’ll take “sentences I never thought I’d say in a wrestling promo” for $200! Oh look, the daily double!”

Harper shakes her head.

”But I digress! Because the point I’m trying to make here Alexandra is that while I have been in my fair share of rivalries since arriving in SCW I know how difficult it is to focus on whatever match the bosses throw at you before you resolve that rivalry.” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And while you’re not directly involved beyond making sure Brooke doesn’t pull any crap with LJ when he and Logan finally wrestle? There’s still every possibility that she’ll show up in some form in this match of ours.

Personally? I’m taking the same stance I did when I faced Sam Marlowe back in February when she and Ben Jordan were dealing with The Conspiracy, I’m not part of this rivalry, I don’t want any part of it but make no mistake: if Brooke does cost you the match Alexandra I will take that pinfall win! I may be honourable but I still know that a win is a win!”

Josh’s Gym, Las Vegas, Nevada

Harper has spent most of the morning training with Josh since Cassie was off training at Hero Academy that day but the events of the last Climax Control are still weighing on Harper.

”So has Cass calmed down or is she still pissed off?” Harper asked Josh and she sat down on the ring apron with a water bottle in her hand. ”Because she still isn’t responding to my texts.”

“Stil angry and I tried to calm her down, she feels like you missed that kick on purpose.” Josh explained and Harper let out a frustrated groan. “She said that you took your time deliberately and let Mackenzie get out of the way.”

”It was the end of a long match! What did Cass expect me to do, spring to the top rope, hit the dropkick almost instantly, kip up and hit Crystal with a Suicide Dive for good measure?!” Harper protested before taking a sip of her drink. ”Besides, if anyone can talk sense into her it’s Keira and you said that Cassie’s at Hero Academy today.”

“She is, don’t know if Keira’s there but unless she got pregnant again while no one was looking there’s no reason she won’t be there.” Josh responded as he moved around a bit. “I hope you understand the difficult situation I’m in Harper, I manage both you and Cassie, it’s not right to see you two fall apart like this.”

”Don’t you think I know that? I set up that tag team match to resolve me and Cassie’s lingering issues from the Rumble, not make them worse!”  Harper responded with a frustrated grunt as she let out a deep breath. ”Look, I don’t mean to take this out on you Josh, you’ve been one of the best things to happen to me in my young career as a wrestler, but between this and the match with Alexandra on Sunday I have a lot on my mind.”

“And I understand that completely, I’m sure I’ll have a similar conversation with Cass when she’s next booked for a match, but this needs to be resolved before it implodes.” Joshua responded with an understanding nod and Harper let out a deep breath. “As for Alexandra? This isn’t your first rodeo with her, just your first singles match against her..”

”In other words, use what I learned the last few times I faced Alexandra to my advantage.” Harper responded before letting out a deep breath. ”Never mind the fact that those matches were, respectfully, a handicap match and the High Stakes Rumble off course.”

“Off course but it’s still info you can use.” Josh assured Harper and she nodded. “And if you want a chance at beating her? You’d better get back to training.”

”Was wondering when you’d say something like that.” Harper responded before finishing the water bottle, throwing it in the nearest bin and getting back in the ring.

We see Harper in Josh’s gym, standing with her arms crossed in the middle of the ring.

”There is a lot I respect about you as a wrestler and a person Alexandra, let’s get that out of the way.” Harper stated as she listed off the things with her fingers. ”Such as the fact that you’ve achieved what I haven’t to date and that’s win your first championship! Hell, you’ve done that twice over while the closest I’ve gotten to that are my two Roulette Title Matches this year, there’s also the fact that you’re a veteran who can still go in the ring, let’s be honest, not everyone in the Bombshell Locker Room can say that, but all the same?

My goal in this match is still clear, get that win and move on!”

Harper lets out a deep breath.

”That’s not to say that I’m dismissing you as a wrestler Alexandra, you were the woman who ended Jessie’s title reign at last year’s Violent Conduct after all, but let’s face facts, only one person will get the win here unless it’s declared a draw and against an opponent as tough as you? That’s a lot easier said than done!” Harper stated honestly before she knelt down. ”But it’s as I’ve always said, no matter how tough the opponent is I’ll never back down from a fight and you’re no exception.

Then again, you should know that already, you remember when I didn’t back down from the handicap match against you and DiMaria? I may have one less opponent in this fight but I’m still give it my all!”

It’s that simple.

”I’ve got a lot on my mind given what happened on Sunday, but the same can be said for you and I don’t need to explain why, do I?” Harper asked as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And this Sunday I will put all that aside in my quest to defeat you, can you say the same?”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”Survey says: no! you may be a veteran but your partner is still being targeted! And while I disagree with Logan and Brooke’s methods, and that’s me being extremely polite, just so we’re clear, if they cost you the match I will take advantage! I’m young but I’m not naive, a wins a win and I can complain about it after the fact! Because the world needs a new hero and her name is “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason! See you on Sunday Alexandra!”

Harper turned off the camera as the scene fades.
