Earlier tonight Harper’s latest title match in SCW had been announced, a Fatal Four Way that pitted her against Victoria Lyons, Lillith Locke and Song for the Bombshell Roulette Championship at Into the Void XII, but first she finds herself teaming with the champion in a tag team match against Song and Lillith at the Go Home Show.

Needless to say, when we open on Harper backstage at Climax Control following the Main Event? She clearly has a lot on her mind.

”So, as a young woman who’s dad served in the US Army while I was growing up and as a result spent most of my childhood traveling the world? I’ve always been someone who strives to do what’s right, whether it’s been for myself or others, something that has been difficult since I became a wrestler, difficult but not impossible.” Harper stated as she lets out a deep breath. ”And I’ll admit, when the Viking Era Tour was announced at Blaze of Glory? I was excited, beyond the fact that I’m a metalhead who likes Amon Amarth I mean.

Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands and, of course, Into the Void being held in Paris, talk about a killer tour right? What the hell can go wrong?” Harper wondered out loud as she ran a hand through her hair. ”Oh, just Victoria Lyons taking an interest in me beyond me being a potential challenger for her title! It’s been a chaotic few weeks, I’m not about to deny that, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Hell, I was almost tempted to say “gold at the end of the rainbow but I thought that was too on the nose!”

Harper states as she lets out a deep breath.

”Yes, I’m one of Victoria’s challengers come Into the Void, but do you want to know who else is in that match? Song and Lillith Locke! Victoria thought I was going to have to face those two women in a Triple Threat to determine her next challenger but nope.” Harper states as she brushes some hair over her shoulder. ”Christian surprised her with the announcement that it’s going to be a Fatal Four Way Roulette Title Match earlier tonight! But first?

Well, I had heard stories of Christian having a sick sense of humour, but teaming me up with Victoria in a tag match against Song and Lillith? Yeah, I guess there isn’t really a limit to how low he’ll go to  build up a match.” Harper stated as she shook her head. ”My animosity with Victoria, funnily enough, dates back to the match that started her on her current path: last year’s Queen for a Day Match! We both took part in that match, she won, started the whole queen shit and a few weeks later? Her Roulette Title Reign began, I’ll talk more about this after next week’s show because that’s not important right now, what is important? Is getting some momentum going heading into this match!”

It’s been half an hour since Harper filmed her first Vlog for the tag match against Lilith and Song and Harper clearly has a lot on her mind as she waits for Josh to come back.

”What the hell was Cassie thinking when she said that to Sel?!” Harper wondered to herself as she leaned against the wall and checked her TikTok For You Page on her phone. ”Now Josh has had to take her back to the hotel to avoid further blow back from, well, everything that happened between her and Sel and I’ve got my tag match and Roulette Title Match to worry about on top of that.”

“My oh my, Josh has left you on your lonesome?” Harper glances up and her expression darkens as she sees Victoria walking up to her. “Some mentor he is.”

”It’s exactly as I said, Josh and Cass had to leave early because of that incident with Seleana.” Harper grunted as she folded her arms. ”Which I’m partially holding you responsible for by the way!”

“I was merely speaking the truth in my confrontation with Cassandra last week.” Victoria commented as she shook her head and Harper’s eyes narrowed. “Everything else just happened.”

”Does that include Cass not speaking to me all week long? Because that’s exactly what the past week has been like for me!” Harper responded as she shook her head and let out a deep breath. ”Look, I still don’t know what your game is Victoria or what exactly you’re getting out of this but next week? We’re partners against Song and Lillith and I need to know one thing.” Harper added as she stepped forward to get in Victoria’s face. ”Can I trust you as a tag team partner?”

“Impeccably, this isn’t my first rodeo as a tag team wrestler or do I need to remind you of the fact that me and Eddie are former Mixed Tag Team Champions?” Victoria asked as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. “Trust me, you’re in good hands.”

”I’d sooner trust one of my dogs to not eat any unattended food but Christian hasn’t exactly left me with much choice.” Harper responded as she shook her head. ”Besides, we both know this is a one night only thing, come Into the Void? That goes out the window we’ll be opponents and your reign will end.”

“If you mean my reign as queen? Please.” Victoria responded as she shook her head before holding up the Bombshell Roulette Title. “Whoever wins this year’s Queen for a Day Match will just be a pretender to my throne.”

”You’re so arrogant that you think you’re untouchable because you broke Krystal Wolfe’s Roulette Title record?” Harper asked as she shook her head. ”No one is unbeatable Victoria and all things have to end at some point, if you ask me? Your reign’s ending at the same event that played host to the match that set you on your current path.” Harper added as she pointed to the title. ”Both of them!”

“Good to see that you haven’t lost your fire.” Victoria responded as she started to walk off. “See that you back your words up in the ring, both at the Go Home Show and at Into the Void in three weeks, otherwise? I’m going to eat you alive.”

”If you really think you’re so unbeatable, answer me this.” Harper stated as she glared at Victoria. ”Why haven’t you set your sights on Kayla yet? Sure, you only have one win over her but the two times you did wrestle Kayla she tried and failed to submit you, you passed out rather than submit to her.”

“I do have certain ambitions yes.” Victoria stated cooly as she glanced over at Harper. “But those are on a need to know basis, and you don’t need to know.”

”If you’re going to dodge the question? Fine, but at least you’re honest about it.” Harper responded before Victoria walked off.

Harper, Josh and Cassie have been in Amsterdam since yesterday morning and Harper has mostly been focused on the upcoming Tag Team Match between her and Victori and Song and Lillith, we cut to her hotel room in Amsterdam as the twenty year old wrestler is making herself comfortable ahead of her second vlog.

”Let’s look at who stands to gain the most from winning this Tag Team Match for a sec, because I know I’ll be doing the same for the Fatal Four Way in Paris.” Harper stated as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”On one hand, you have me and Victoria, two women who have been pretty strongly connected to the Bombshell Roulette Title since the show in Iceland, obviously Victoria’s the Bombshell Roulette Champ so that goes without saying while I seem to be the target of her attention over the past few weeks.

Song and Lillith? They seem to be afterthoughts in this whole affair, don’t they? Song wasn’t even in the Blast from the Past Tournament and I’m not even sure when the last time she even saw action on Climax Control was! Lillith’s record in SCW since her debut match, against Song no less, has been pretty spotty, two wins, one loss which was, off course, her Blast from the Past Match, it’s almost like Victoria picked those names out of a hat, ain’t it?” Harper asked as she leaned back with her arms crossed. ”And considering Victoria thought she was setting up a Triple Threat #1 Contenders Match for me to win? That wiuldn’t surprise me one bit.”

Harper shrugs her shoulders as she continues.

”However there’s literally nothing stopping Lillith and Song from using that apparent fact as motivation to win.” Harper admitted with a frown as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”For those two? The story practically writes itself, Victoria thought we were easy opponents for Harper? Well, we’ll how them in this tag team match at the Go Home Show! See what I mean? Victoria may as well have had a big, flashing neon green sign that read “I don’t care about anyone but Harper in this mess” and that’s gonna add more fuel to Song and Lillith’s fire.

In other words? Victoria’s dismissive attitude towards our opponents in this tag team match has a very real possibility of biting her in the ass!” Harper added as a smirk appeared on her face. ”Now, don’t get me wrong, the idea of me bailing on this match right as it’s heating up and Victoria needs to tag me in? After everything she’s put me through since the Iceland show? Yeah, it’s tempting, but I need to look at this practically because a win here would not only break the losing streak I’ve been on since my first Internet Title Match against Bella but give me a serious momentum boost heading into Paris and Into the Void, especially if I’m the one who scores the pin in this match!”

Harper and Josh are enjoying a site seeing Canal Cruise through Amsterdam alone because Cassie was laying relatively low because of what happened between her and Seleana at the last Climax Control, but that doesn’t mean that Harper doesn’t have a lot on her mind.

”Amsterdam’s a beautiful city, isn’t it?” Harper asked Josh and he nodded in agreement. ”Yet it’s going to play host to me most difficult tag team match of my career on Sunday.”

“On paper the ball is definitely in your court Harper.” Joshua nodded in agreement as he folded his arms. “Say what you will about Victoria but she has proven herself to be an excellent wrestler and as a tag team wrestler in SCW? She is fairly dominant, two wins and one loss, to say nothing of the fact that she went undefeated for months after her debut last year, but then there’s the tension between you two.”

”Yep! And you know Lilith and Song are going to exploit that for everything it’s worth.” Harper nodded in agreement as she let out a sigh. ”This match is all about gaining a momentum boost heading into Victoria’s defence at Into the Void, that much is obvious, what’s less obvious is Victoria’s motivations behind her targeting me these past couple of weeks! I’ve confronted her in promos twice but that got buried in the details that led to this match being made it’s still not a great feeling.”

“The feeling that she’s trying to manipulate you and turn you against me and Cass?” Josh asked and Harper nodded with a sigh as she leaned forward. “You’ve seen how Cassie’s been taking it, to say nothing of what happened to her over the past couple of weeks, me? I’ll still support you and Cassie no matter what but we’re going to have to sort this situation out one way or another, one way might be you taking the title from Victoria.”

”Setting aside how easier said than done that would be against Victoria one on one, never mind in a multi-person match, who’s to say that that would stop her?” Harper pointed out and Josh nodded as he got the idea. ”Let’s face it, we’d both be shocked if Victoria isn’t moved on to the Internet or even World Bombshell Divisions when she does finally lose the title, but at the same time? she might try to get the title back.”

“All very good points, but we’ll see what happens.” Josh responded with a nod and Harper grinned. “And before then? You’ve got a tag match to win.”

”Don’t I know it.” Harper responded before she turned her attention back to the scenery.

Harpin’ On With Harper, Amsterdam Canal Cruise, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

As Harper admires the scenery around her she got ready to film he promo for the match with Victoria and Song and Lillith.

”This Tag Team Match is of course the prelude to the big match at Into the Void in Paris, and whoever wins the match for the team will have all the momentum in the world heading  into the Fatal Four Way.” Harper commented as she leaned back a bit in the boat. ”Let’s look at the other women in this match one more time and rank them in terms of who needs the momentum more, Victoria? Does she even need the momentum? If she makes it past Into the Void as champ there’s a good chance that she’ll reach full year as champion, need a say more?

Song? Master Lilly outright said that Song’s contract is expiring at Summer XXXTreme and it doesn’t sound like she’s going to be renewing, can you say one last shot at glory? And Lillith? Technically I’m in the same boat as her because we’re the only Bombshells in the match who haven’t held titles since we joined SCW, but she’s also the most recent signee out of the four women in both matches so there’s that.” Harper stated as she shook her head. ”I’ll make this short and sweet, no one else in this match needs the win more than me!”

Yep.

”My last singles win was at Inception, four months ago! And since then? I’ve been on one of the worst losing streaks of my career to date, in some ways this tag team with Victoria is blessing and a curse.” Harper started as she ran a hand through her wavy, dirty blonde hair. ”A blessing because she’s the champion heading into the match at Into The Void in Paris and of course this tag team match, a curse because Christian has gone to his old playbook of painting rivals in a tag match together.

Happened last year during the lead up to High Stakes where I teamed with Bobbie Dahl against the Zdunichs and it’s happening again this year where I face Song and Lillith with Victoria as my partner.” Harper lets out a deep breath. ”Christian sure does love forcing me to team with my enemies ahead of a big match against them, doesn’t he? Well, guess what guys? I won that match against the Zdunichs and I’ll win this match against my fellow challengers for the Bombshell Roulette Title!”

It’s that simple.

”Turns out Teaming With The Enemy is a great motivator for me, who know right?” Harper stated as she flips some of her hair over her shoulder. ”And as I said at the start of the vlog? This match is all about building momentum for the title match in Paris, we have Victoria who, win or lose this match, will be the champion heading into that match, we have Song who might not even be in the company after Summer XXXTreme and we have the wildcard Lilith, the newcomer getting her first title opportunity in SCW.

And then there’s me, the challenger seemingly handpicked by Victoria weeks in advance, the only one in the match who has both been in SCW for well over a year and has yet to win a title in SCW.”  Harper added as she used her thumb to point at her chest. ”And if I have any say in the matter? That little fact is changing at Into the Void because I will be walking out the new and youngest Bombshell Roulette Champion at the tender age of twenty! I’ve been grinding enough to get this point of my career and if you ask me? I’m ready!”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”Go ahead Lillith, underestimate me and see how far that gets you, same goes for you Song and Victoria? Start marking down the days towards the end of your reign as Bombshell Roulette Champ!” Harper added as she leaned forward with a smirk. ”Because the beginning of your final days as champion starts this Sunday in Amsterdam and ends at Into the Void in Paris, Song and Lillith can put up all the fight they want because it won’t matter.

Why? Because I don’t plan on letting two Joanie Come Latelies get in the way of my dreams in SCW!” Harper stated as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”Don’t believe me? Just watch this match on Sunday because it’ll serve as a prelude to my moment at Into The Void because the world is in dire need of a new champion in the Bombshell Roulette Division and her name will soon be Harper Mason!”

Harper stopped recording her vlog as the scene fades.

It’s officially the week before Blaze of Glory XII and Harper’s upcoming title match against Bella Madison, the twenty year old wrestler clearly has a lot on her mind as she sits in front of her laptop to record her first vlog.

”It’s funny you know? Before I earned my first title shot of my career a year ago against Bobbie, I had to beat Bella in a match first, this time? The roles are kinda reversed.” Harper commented as she thought back to her first match against Bella. ”And I know I said last week that I was done dwelling on the past after I lost the rematch to Bella two weeks ago but I can’t help but think: will next Sunday’s title match be the one?

By which I of course mean: will it be the one where I finally win my first title in SCW?” Harper asked rhetorically as she shook her head. ”Since I signed with SCW everyone has been expecting me to basically be a younger, slightly taller Jessie, in that they thought I was going to be demanding title matches left right and centre much like Jessie did back in her youth, in reality? I got accused of doing that one time, incidentally right after I lost to Bobbie at My Bloody Valentine II, and I had to clarify that I was daydreaming about what could’ve been rather than trying to jump ahead of Bella after she earned a Roulette Title shot that same night but that didn’t stop the writers of the match preview from trying to besmirch my name!”

Harper lets out a deep breath.

”Between that and the Handicap Match Victoria put me in after Into the Void? I have a lot that I’m still angry about from my first full year as an SCW Bombshell, don’t I?” Harper asked rhetorically as she sighed before shaking her head. ”But my point is? There is one thing that I will emulate from Jessie’s SCW Career and that’s winning my first title in SCW at Blaze of Glory! Honestly the only thing that could make this perfect is if it happened at last year’s Blaze of Glory rather than this year’s  since I would’ve won it at my first Blaze of Glory instead of my second.

Though on the other hand? I was still in my rebuilding phase at last year’s Blaze of Glory so that wouldn’t have really fit either!” Harper added as she brushed some year hair over her shoulder. ”And let’s make one thing clear Bella: I know you’re a tough bitch, I know you can wrestle your ass off and I know we can put on great matches together, but can I beat you? Only one way to find out and that’s to wait another week for the opening match to this year’s Blaze of Glory!”

It’s officially the week of Blaze of Glory XII and Harper’s second rematch against Bella for the Bombshell Internet Championship and the twenty year old is meeting with her older cousin and SCW legend Jessie.

”It never gets easier, does it?” Harper asked after letting out a deep breath and sitting at the kitchen table opposite Jessie who raised an eyebrow at her question. ”Preparing for a title match I mean, doesn’t matter if it’s in SCW or not, I’ve definitely felt the pressure heading into my rematch with Bella.”

”To be honest Harp? It depends on when the match is taking place.” Jessie explained as she leaned back in her chair. ”Title matches at PPVs like yours against Bella are easier on paper because you have that two week period to prepare yourself, physically and mentally, but the same goes for your opponent, especially if it’s a multiperson match like the Chambers, and it’s easy for the doubt to creep in as the date draws near.” Jessie elaborated and Harper nodded in understanding. ”At least if your defending or challenging on Climax Control you can just wait until the end of the week and hope for the best.”

”The thing is? Both me and Bella know that all too well, I’ve challenged for the Bombshell Roulette Title on both PPV and at Climax Control while the only differences here are that I’m facing Bella within a few weeks of my first match for the Bombshell Internet Title and the fact that I’m facing the same woman this time around.” Harper pointed out that fact and Jessie nodded in agreement. ”Bella was a perennial challenger for years before she finally won her first singles title, I’m sure she would’ve challenged you in your last reign if not for her pregnancy at the time.”

”I’m still disappointed that we never got that one on one match, don’t get me wrong, her mom’s a hell of a talent but I always felt that me and Bella could’ve created magic together as opponents.” Jessie commented as she shook her head and Harper nodded in understanding. ”Maybe I’ll see if she’s down once CC 500 rolls around but until then? You have a title match to worry about.”

”Hey, if nothing else you can wrestle vicariously through me on Sunday I guess.” Harper joked and Jessie shook her head with a chuckle. ”Anyway, any tips for the title match and dealing with nerves?”

”Look, nerves are natural heading into any match, especially title matches, if you’re calm ahead of a match? It might be time to call it a career and you’re way too young to do that willingly.” Jessie responded simply and Harper nodded as she got the idea. ”As for the match? Bella’s arguably just as athletic as you and she’s second generation, the only way we could be second generation is if I was actually your mother and I’m fifteen years older than you, do I even need to point out the many ways that wouldn’t work?”

”No, you would’ve had to be a preteen at most and that’s just flat out impossible! To say nothing of the gross implications that carries.” Harper responded with a shudder and Jessie quickly nodded in agreement. ”But I get you’re your saying, there’s a lot of similarities between me and Bella and it would arguably come down too who wants it more.”

”As has practically every other defence in wrestling history, including mine.” Jessie responded as she shook her head. ”On one hand? You have Bella, fresh of her first defence against you, doesn’t want a repeat of her first reign for obvious reasons and arguably wants the win to help solidify the reign as one that’ll last for a good while, you? You’ve been chasing your first title in SCW for just over a year now, Cassie’s been chasing hers since her debut don’t know about you but both of you ending the night as champs? Sounds pretty sweet to me.”

”Easier said than done, especially in Cassie’s case! I only have one opponent to worry about, she has five including the top champ!” Harper commented as she shook her head and Jessie nodded in agreement. ”At the very least Cassie won’t have to deal with all of her opponents at once, at first at least.”

”Both you and Cass have tough matches any way you slice it, it’s just that Cassie arguably has the tougher match.” Jessie nodded in agreement before standing up. ”I won’t be able to train you as much today because April has a health checkup later but I can at least help you where I can.”

”Yeah, you mentioned that when I called ahead but honestly Jess?” Harper responded as she stood up. ”I’ll take any training I can get.” Harper added before she followed Jessie down to the basement home gym.

We cut to the inside of the ring at Jessie’s home gym where Harper is sitting on the middle turnbuckle with her arms crossed, ready for the second vlog.

”What does it take to prove yourself as a champion in SCW?” Harper asked as she cracks her neck a bit. ”The reason I’m asking this is because there doesn’t really seem to be a consensus, some say it’s the quality of your challengers, others say it’s how often you put the belt on the line! Now obviously Bella your very much at the mercy of the bosses when it comes to this stuff unless someone specifically sets their sights on your title.

But I guess I’ll be answering that question myself after I beat you for the title on Sunday, won’t I?” Harper asked rhetorically before getting off the turnbuckle and walking towards the camera. ”On one hand? Yeah, I’ve been a champion before, and aside from my first title which I never got to defend because the fed folded not long after I won the thing I’ve faced my fair share of challengers in the past, but will Sunday night be when I win my first title in SCW and do it all over again?”

Survey says?

”If you ask me? The answers yes and I’m sure you have your own answer to that question Bella.” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”I know how tough the championship scene here in SCW is, so has anyone who’s had more than one match here I guess, and the question is: can I make my mark in the SCW Title history by winning the Internet Title?

If I wasn’t sure about winning the title I wouldn’t be here, simple.” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”I’m not denying that we had a great match when we first clashed for your Internet Title a few weeks ago Bella but at the same time? I’m not concerned about putting on a show for the fans this time around, if anything, that’s a secondary objective, but as for my primary objective? I thought I’d make that clear from the offset but it’s to win my first title in SCW!”

Harper grins broadly.

”So, will the second time be the charm? Will I win the title on my second attempt? On one hand I gave a proven track record of winning tie breakers, see: my match against Bobbie at last year’s High Stakes, but can I make lightning strike twice?” Harper asked as she folded her arms. ”Because that match I just mentioned had a stipulation that, depending on how you look at it, either aged like fine wine or like milk since Bobbie got pregnant a couple of months after her own stipulation forced her to wear baby wear at the following Climax Control.

This time around? A title’s on the line and at least the loser of the match will get to enter the next Climax Control with some dignity!” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”But it’s the title that I want and I’m going to do whatever it takes to walk out of Tucson, Arizona the new Bombshell Internet Champion!”

It’s now the middle of the week and we see Harper doing some weight lifting in Josh’s gym to help her prepare for her upcoming match with Josh standing beside her.

“I’ve been reviewing the tapes of your first rematch with Bella as you asked.” Josh commented and Harper glanced up at him while working with the hand weight. “I’m not sure how she reversed the Encore Set into the Neuro Mutilation mid-air, your technique on the move was as flawless as ever.”

”I’ve been doing that move since I graduated from Hero Academy two years ago Josh, I’d hope that I’ve got the technique of “Torture Rack Spun Out Into a Flatliner” down to a science by now.” Harper sighed as she set the weight down on the bench beside her and Josh nodded. ”Honestly? I think it just came down to me underestimating just how beaten Bella was at that time, if I had known that she still had another in her to pull off a Snapmare Driver in the middle of my finisher I would’ve tried something else, like the Breakdown, Sun//Eater or hell, even the Fragile Wings.”

“And any of those moves could’ve gone wrong and you’d still have lost the match.” Josh responded with a nod as he leaned against another piece of gym equipment. “For all we know? Bella’s reversal could’ve been pure adrenaline, you two had been going at it for a while and you were both tired.”

”Yeah I know, but even after watching the tapes back I couldn’t figure out where I went wrong.” Harper sighed as she ran a hand through her hair. ”At that point? I thought I had the match and title in the bag, hell you’ve been in that position yourself Josh, you know how it’s like!”

“Indeed I have, asking yourself questions like that after such a close loss is natural.” Josh assured Harper and she grinned in response. “All that matters in the end is how you pick yourself back up again.”

”Something I’ve been doing since I first entered SCW’s title scene last February.” Harper sighed as she leaned back. ”But all the same? I’m determined to make Blaze of Glory XII my night!”

“Good, and I’ll be there to help you, until then, all you can do is train.” Josh added and Harper grinned as she resumed training.

We cut to Harper in her loft after a hard day’s worth of training ready for her final vlog against Bella and the rematch for the title.

”The time for any remaining doubt heading into this match is almost over Bella, and if I have my way? This will be the last Vlog I film while the only title I own is the title that I won shortly before the fed folded.” Harper added as she showed the KCW TV Title on the mantlepiece behind her. ”And unlike that title? I plan on defending the Bombshell Internet Championship whenever possible! I know pledging to be a fighting champion after I win the belt is a bit of a cliché at this point.

But when have I been known to not keep my word?” Harper asked before quickly shaking her head. ”And before any smart asses chime in? I was being hypothetical with that question, but you know what’s not hypothetical Bella?”

Guess.

”It’s the fact that, after we set the tone for the rest of the night by tearing the house down in the opener? I will be the new Bombshell Internet Champion!” Harper added with a determined grin on her face. ”I know I’m making it sound a lot easier than it really is, but I’ve been working hard to prepare for our second title rematch Bella and hey, maybe after I win the title we’ll do it again at Into the Void with the roles reversed.

But in any case? Say your goodbyes to your title Bella.”

It’s that simple.

”Why? Because after over a year at grinding away at it? I feel like I’m ready to take the next big leap and win my first title in SCW.” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”And I’m sure you’ve said the same thing to yourself every time you stepped up for a title match of some kind but I’m not willing to wait around as long as you.”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”My time is now and I won’t be denied Bella.” Harper added as she leaned on the counter, ”Pretty much the only question left in my mind is how did you pull off that mid-air Neuro Mutilation when I was spinning you out for the Encore Set but at the end of the day? The past doesn’t matter, the future does and my future is as the new Bombshell Internet Champion because the world needs a new hero and her name is “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason! See you in the ring Bella, keep that title warm for me!”

It’s the day after Climax Control and we see Harper in her loft with her two dogs, both dogs are tied, indicating that she just took the Labradors for a walk and Harper is taking off her jacket after sitting down to start her vlog.

”After I came this close to dethroning Bella two weeks ago and winning my first title in SCW? I’ll admit, there were a few things going through my mind.” Harper stated as she leaned on her computer desk. ”One: what if I had done things differently in the Internet Title Match, I mean what would be champion hasn’t thought about that after a failed attempt to win a title, right? Two: I focussed way too much on trying to repeat my past success against Bella and that helped lead to my downfall, and three? When and how will I be building myself back up to get, well, a shot against any of the Bombshell Champions but Bella specifically.

Turns out? I didn’t even have to wait that long for a chance!” Harper added as a big grin appeared on her face. ”Because just two weeks after my failed attempt at taking the title from Bella? I’m potentially setting myself up for another title shot against her at the Go Home Show before Blaze of Glory.”

The excitement in Harper’s voice is as clear as day but the twenty year old wrestler lets out a deep breath.

”But there’s a catch because my match is one of a few Triple Threat Matches to determine the challengers for the champs who don’t have a challenger set in stone yet, in other words? The make Roulette Champion Aidan Reynolds, the male Internet Champion Kevin Carter and of course, Bella.”  Harper commented before folding her arms. ”And it’s funny how I brought up the fact that I was looking back on my past matches with Bella during the lead up to my title match with her because my opponents in this Triple Threat are both women I’ve gone toe to toe with before! Hell, I faced one of them during the Triple Crown Challenge to determine Victoria’s Challengers for Inception VI.

At least this time Bea will be busy getting her empty head kneed in by Kayla! But yeah, if I want that rematch with Bella? I need to defeat not one but two Hall of Famers in Crystal Zdunich and Alicia Lukas!” Harper let out a deep breath. ”Alicia, someone I’ve never beaten and Crystal, someone I’ve beaten exactly once in singles competition! No pressure, right?”

It’s later in the day and we see Harper working out in preparation for a sparring match between her and her partner in crime Cassie Wolfe while their manager Josh watches on.

”So Cass, was having Mercedes as your partner as bad as you feared?” Harper asked as she folded her arms and the Australian Wrestler rolled her eyes. ”Or would you have truly been better off with Candy or even me as a partner?”

”What do you think? I would’ve been better off teaming with a bag of horse manure!” Cassie responded with a groan as she shook her head. ”At least Mercedes was the one who ate the Dreamkiller from Kayla! And if nothing else I proved I can hang with her and Andrea! Anyway, I’ll be focussing on the chamber match from next week onwards, shouldn’t you be focussing on the match with Crystal and Alicia?”

”Oh I am! I was just curious! Especially after you brought up my history with Mercedes.” Harper responded as she brushed some hair over her shoulder and Cassie nodded in understanding. ”Last time I faced Alicia in a Triple Threat she got on the Inception VI card from the word go and I only got on the card because Seleana had just renewed her contract.”

”Yeah, and at least you won your match! Though the irony of me being in the chamber after Crystal beat me at Inception VI isn’t lost on me, especially since Mercedes beat Crystal to earn her spot.” Cassie responded before shaking her head. ”And right now it looks like Crystal’s only chance at getting on the Blaze of Glory card is if she wins this match.”

”Yeah, if!” Harper scoffed before flipping her wavy dirty blonde hair over her shoulder. ”You saw how close I got to dethroning Bella two weeks ago, I know I can do it if I face her at Blaze of Glory in a rematch for the title and I’ll be damned if Alicia prevents me from getting on another Supercard.”

“And that’s all well and good.” The two women glanced over at Josh who was leaning on the ring apron. “But what if that does happen and the bosses can’t find a match for you?”

”Then I’ll be there to support Cass of course.” Harper responded as she shook her head. ”But again, I’ll be doing everything in my power on Sunday to beat Alicia and Crystal and earn my spot on the card against Bella!”

“Good and I’ll help you prepare for that match in any way I can! For now?” Josh motioned towards the two women and they nodded. “Start training.”

”Like that needed to be said?” Harper asked before the two wrestlers started sparring.

A couple of hours into the training session Harper decided to take a break and film the second vlog for the match, a look of determination on her face and Cassie holding the phone to film it.

”On paper this Triple Threat Match looks pretty cut and dry, doesn’t it? Crystal and Alicia, two hall of famers and me, someone who’s still finding her feet in SCW two years after she first signed with the company.” Harper commented as she started pacing around the ring. ”And yet I was the one picked to be Bella’s challenger two weeks ago, not Alicia who hadn’t been seen since that match before we got to this point and not Crystal who was last seen getting beat by Mercedes for the first spot in the chamber.

It was me, in my first match since I beat Seleana at Inception VI!” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”If you ask me? That says something about the faith the bosses have in me over Alicia, who was a record setting World Bombshell Champion before Amber Ryan showed up or Crystal who is slowly but surely sliding down to Bea Barnhart levels of irrelevance!”

You heard her.

”And yeah, if I had won the match against Bella, I wouldn’t be promoting this match right now, would I? I’d probably be in Bella’s position, watching this match closely to see who would be my next challenger.” Harper added before shaking her head. ”Or first challenger since I would’ve been a new champion waiting for someone to be thrown my way but you get the point! But you know what is my point? Well, it’s simple really.

I’m using that match as my motivation in this match!” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”Because after I got this close to being the youngest Bombshell Internet Champion in SCW History? I’m determined to get that second shot at Bella and Crystal and Alicia won’t get in my way!”

Harper stated as she looked straight at the camera.

”Sure, Alicia’s been after another reign for years and Crystal seems to get opportunities just by being a living, breathing being on the Bombshell Roster but I have one question for them both, are they as motivated as me?” Harper asked as she rolled her eyes. ”If you ask me? No, Alicia has a grudge against me because she thinks I’m a nepo baby just because I arrived in SCW right after Jessie’s contract expired but if you ask me? She’s been coaxing on her title reigns, hell I can say the same about Crystal and honestly?

Can you say I’m wrong?”

It was two days before Climax Control and Harper was with Josh in her lost doing a bit of Spring Cleaning, which was easier said than done with two Labradors in the house.

”Seriously Logan, how do you go through so much fur?” Harper asked the older of the two dogs as she held up a brush covered in golden fur and the dog just say there panting. ”Only reason I’m not getting it mixed up with Xavier’s fur s because Josh is brushing up after him!”

“And believe me, I’m wondering the same thing about your other dog.” Josh chimed in and Harper glanced over at him. “At least this is a good thing to do ahead of the Triple Threat.”

”That and something I’ve meant to do since the start of March.” Harper added as she shook her head. ”At least it’s a nice break from training for the Triple Threat.”

“You’ve been training for the match for most of the week, you earned the break.” Josh responded and Harper quickly nodded in agreement. “I just hope you manage to control your temper this time around.”

”I know you’re referring to my habit of complaining about the lack of match at a Supercard? I’m pretty sure I covered my reasoning for that at length.” Harper responded as she shook her head. ”Anyway, if I lose I’ll wait to see the card before jumping the gun like I did at Inception but until then? I’m going to try to win the match.”

“Good, I’d expect nothing less.” Josh responded and Harper grinned in response. “And if you do win? I’ll help you train for the match just as I’ll help Cassie train for the chamber.”

”I mean, considering Cassie was one of the first two wrestlers confirmed for the Chamber? She’s had longer to prepare.” Harper responded with a sigh as she leaned back. ”I only just got in contention thanks to this match and the Bombshell Internet Title Match two weeks ago.”

“And I know you’ll do well in hat match.” Josh assured her and Harper nodded in agreement. “Winning though?”

”It’s like I said.” Harper responded before standing up. ”I’ll be damned if Alicia gets in between me and my first title reign in SCW.” Harper added before they resumed the clean.

As Harper gets ready to finish her vlogs for the week we can see that she is getting confident heading into the Triple Threat.

”Let’s be honest, who deserves this match more between me and my two opponents? The young up and comer who took the champ to the limit two weeks ago only to fall short? Or either of the two old timers who think that just because they’ve been around for ages means that they should get opportunities over someone like me?” Harper asked rhetorically as she leaned on her desk. ”I think we all know the answer to that question.

It's me.” Harper stated as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”I’ve worked a lot harder and shown more passion for this sport in the two years that I’ve been on the Bombshell Roster than Crystal has shown in years and Alicia? Well, everyone knows her incorrect opinion of me being a nepo baby, something that’s just hilarious when you remember how much of a flop Zoey Lukas was!”

Harper stated as she rolls her eyes.

”But that aside? I’m eager for round two against Bella for the Bombshell Internet Championship at Blaze of Glory and neither Alicia or Crystal are getting in my way!” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”Maybe then Alicia will realize that I’m not the waste of Bombshell Roster Space that she thinks I am but I seriously doubt it! That bitch is as stubborn as Crystal is over the hill! But at the end of the day?

Bella will be getting ready for another Internet Title Match against me at Blaze of Glory, NOT a match between Wolfslair members that only the members of Wolfslair care about, NOT Crystal somehow getting in another title match where there are so many other, more deserving wrestlers on the roster.”

It’s that simple.

”It’s time the young guns started putting the old dogs down and I’m just the one to do it in this match.” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”Get ready Bella because you will face me again at Blaze of Glory and I won’t repeat my mistakes from the first time around!”

”And from there? Well I won’t get that far ahead of myself but there is gold in my future, count on it!” Harper said as she grinned broadly. ”As for Alicia and Crystal? They won’t get in my way and they won’t stop me from achieving my dream because the world needs a new hero and her name is “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason and I will get another shot at Bella!”

As Harper starts her first vlog of week two we can see that the young wrestler has a lot on her mind heading into the first Supercard of the year.

”2024 was definitely a mixed bag for my wrestling career, wasn’t it?” Harper started as she let out a deep breath. ”On the one hand? I I competed in the very first match of 2024, competed in a title match for the first time, participated in a first for SCW, and even saw my friend Cassie Wolfe join SCW towards the end of the summer! But on the other hand?

I lost that first match to Crystal, I’m still searching for my first title in SCW, that first was the first ever handicap match because Victoria Lyons is a vindictive bitch who happened to win Queen for a Day! Sorry, sorry, still mad about that, and Cassie?” Harper shakes her head with a frustrated sigh. ”Cassie hasn’t even been in SCW for a full year yet but I feel like she’s eclipsed me! Hell, she got her first title opportunities a lot faster than I did! Point is, something needs to change in 2025 which is why my New Year’s Resolution is simple: forget the past!”

Harper stated as she brushed some hair over her shoulder.

”There’s no use in looking back on it when I’m still trying to build my future after all.” Harper commented as she leaned forward on the desk. ”And with my match against Seleana this Sunday? I’m going full speed ahead into the New Year! Don’t get me wrong, that finish to the Tag Team Match at the last Climax Control is still going to eat at me for a while but Seleana is a perfect opponent for a reboot against.

Why? Well, let’s be honest, when was the last time anyone took Seleana Zdunich seriously?” Harper asked with a shrug of her shoulders. ”Even though it’s been six years since her last title reign? She’s been a persistent force in the Bombshell Division, successful? Well that’s a different story, she’s had the occasional win but title wins or anything of real note? Nada, and that’s not changing on Sunday.”

Harper commented as she shook her head.

”I mean yeah, the story behind this match is well known, Seleana just signed a new contract with SCW and I was making noise about the fact that I was left off the card for the first Supercard of the year.” Harper commented as shook her head. ”And apparently that was good enough for the two of us to be thrown in a match together! Personally? I’m not complaining, even if some people would prefer to push the cry-baby narrative, but more importantly?

I’m getting the win on Sunday night.”

It’s been a few hours since Harper’s first vlog of the week and she is visiting Jessie at her home in Las Vegas.

”Between the whole incident with Aleesha and the upcoming match with Seleana being added to the show last second? This year’s off to a great start already.” Harper commented sarcastically as she shook her head and Jessie nodded in agreement ”Meanwhile you’ve been rocking it in WrestleLeague.”

”Aside from the stumbling block that was my loss to Amy, yeah! And I’ll take that loss because of my respect for Amy.” Jessie responded with a shrug as the two women made their way through the house. ”Thinking off trying out for Season 4?”

”It’s tempting but I’m worried about it clashing with my SCW dates, you’ve had to miss a couple of shows due to working WrestleLeague the night before.” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”And Josh has had to motor to get to SCW shows since he’s been your manager in WrestleLeague as well as me and Cassie’s manager in SCW.”

”The man is dedicated to his work as a manager, though I wouldn’t be surprised if he aimed for a career resurgence in Season 4, and as much as I’d like to give him the night off before Inception? I’ve got Moon Doorelis in this week’s main event, she may be a rookie but she’s a damn good rookie and I need all the help I can get.” Jessie responded ass she shook her head and Harper nodded in understanding. ”So what’s your plan against Seleana?”

”You mean beyond showing why the bosses made a mistake by leaving me off the card initially?” Harper asked as she folded her arms. ”I’m pretty much treating it as the official start to my second year in SCW, the Triple Threat and Tag Team Match don’t count.”

”I’m pretty sure the bosses have something to say about that.” Jessie commented as she shook her head and Harper frowned. ”Just saying.”

”And I’m just saying that Alicia, who had no business being in that Triple Threat Match to begin with I might add, won the match by stripping Bea of her evening gown and I’m way to much of a tomboy to pull off the evening gown look in the first place.” Harper responded as she shook her head and Jessie frowned. ”And that tag match? If the ref had done their job properly the double pin wouldn’t have happened period! I know I keep harping on about this but it wasn’t a Tornado Tag Match!”

”Fair points, god knows I’ve had my disagreements with SCW’s refs over the ten plus years I was with that company.” Jessie sighed as she shook her head. ”But what about after the match with Seleana?”

”After? Well unless I end up in another Mercedes situation where an opponent decides they have a grudge against me for whatever reason, I’ll just take whatever the bosses throw at me.” Harper commented as she shrugged her shoulders. ”Whether that’s a match against another member of the Bombshell roster or hell, a rematch with Seleana or even a title match with Victoria, Aleesha or even Kayla, I’ll take the matches where I can and give it my all.”

”Basically seeing where the bosses’ ideas land you? Not a bad idea admittedly.” Jessie commented as she started to make her way towards the home gym. ”Wish I had that mentality in my second full year as an SCW Bombshell. I’ll say that much! Anyway, whilst you’re here wanna train with me down in the home gym Harp?”

”Was hoping you’d ask that.” Harper responded with a grin before following her older cousin down to the home gym.

We cut to the inside of the ring in Jessie’s home gym where we see Harper leaning on the ring ropes ready to do her vlog.

”So yeah, this match may not have been in my immediate plans for 2025 but does that mean I’m not going to make the most of this match with Seleana?” Harper asked rhetorically before shaking her head. ”Not a chance! I didn’t make that much noise about noy being booked for the first Supercard for nothing and let’s face it, I’ll probably not get a chance like this the next time they can’t find an opponent for me.

Because god knows we needed to see Mercedes Vargas stink up the joint instead.” Harper lets out a annoyed huff before she continues. ”All that aside, will Seleana beat me? Hell no!”

Harper shakes her head.

”I’ll be the first to admit that the new year didn’t get off to a  great start for me but losing my first Supercard match of the year to a Bombshell who, despite being in the company for seven years at this point, only has two title reigns to her name, both of which happened a year after her debut? Yeah, no, that’s not happening if I can help it!” Harper states as she flips some hair over her shoulder. ”And yeah, I know I’ve yet to win my first title in SCW but I can at least state that I’ve put in more of an effort than Seleana has over the past few months!

Who knows? Maybe her worth ethic has improved with her new contract but there’s only one way we can confirm that, isn’t there Seleana?” Harper asked before walking to the centre of the ring. ”That we meet where I stand, not in Jessie’s home gym mind you but in the middle of the ring this Sunday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena here in Vegas.”

Harper folds her arms with a grin.

”And more importantly? My main concern about this match is show why someone who’s young and hungry like me should take priority over someone old and spent like Mercedes!” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And beyond that? I’ll see where the rest of the SCW Callender year takes me but if I can kick it off officially with a win, even over someone like Seleana? That’s fine by me because I’ll know that I kicked off the new year the right way.

And no, that tag match doesn’t count!”

It’s the following day and Harper is meeting with Josh at a local café for brunch.

”Honestly Josh? I just want to get this cycle over with.” Harper admitted with a sigh before taking a sip of her drink. ”As far as Climax Controls go? It started with a mess of a tag match finish and ended with a mess of a tag match finish and don’t even get me started on all the shit that happened in between!”

“It hasn’t been a great cycle for either you or Cassie, though Cassie at least earned her first title shot in SCW.” Josh nodded in agreement as he shifted his weight. “And you barely made it onto the Inception card at all.”

”And only because Seleana renewed her contract with SCW with time to add our match to the card to spare.” Harper nodded in agreement as she let out a grunt of annoyance. ”They can’t even say that I got left out because I lost my last match considering the same thing can be said for Mercedes and Song and they got a match together just because!”

“We’ll figure something out for the rest of the year but for now? Just focus on Seleana.” Josh advised Harper and she readily nodded in agreement. “Jessie told me that you weren’t counting the Triple Crown Match or the Tag Match as the official start of the year for you while I was helping her train for her next WrestleLeague match.”

”Can you blame me? Thanks to the Roulette Wheel I had to wrestle my first match of the year in an evening gown and you heard my complaints about that! And the Tag Team Match?” Harper shook her head with a frustrated look on her face. ”The ref wasn’t doing their job properly when they allowed that double pin to happen, plain and fucking simple! I wish you had dragged them out of the ring.”

“If I did that we would’ve both be fined alongside Cassie because I would’ve been putting my hands on an official for your benefit.” Josh responded as he shook his head and Harper grunted in annoyance. “And Cassie was already dealing with the fallout from being fined for slapping Guy during her Internet Title Match!”

”Yeah well, that idiot deserved a lot worse! Besides, sometimes the refs need to be reminded of their place in the pecking order when it comes to matches!” Harper grunted in response and Josh shook his head. ”Can you honestly tell me that you never thought the ref made the wrong call during your time as a wrestler Josh?”

“They are just doing their jobs and that’s all I’m saying.” Josh responded as he shook his head before their food arrived.

”What can I say about the match with Seleana that hasn’t already been said? I know Seleana’s one of the nicer women on the Bombshell Roster but that doesn’t count for much when the bell rings.” Harper stated as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And it won’t count for much this Sunday either when we finally clash in singles competition Sel.”

Nope.

”I mean really Seleana, after seven years what are you even doing in SCW at this point? Living in Crystal’s shadow?” Harper asked pointedly before shaking her head. ”You even floundered when she left SCW for a few months towards the end of 2023 rather than try to stick out on your own and I have to ask, did you peak when you feuded with Christian Underwood towards the end of 2018? Because it sure as hell feels like it!”

It’s that simple.

”I mean, the record books show that you were a World Bombshell and Roulette Champion after that business resolved but does anyone actually remember those reigns?” Harper asked before shaking her head. ”No? I didn’t think so, we can’t even call you the one hit wonder of the Bombshell Division because you have more than one title to your name but considering your reign with the World Bombshell Title ended after two weeks? Does that make you a one and a half hit wonder?”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”When I said that my New Years Resolution was to forget the past? I meant it! If only past their prime bombshells like you were so easy to forget Seleana.” Harper added as she shook her head. ”And when I beat you on Sunday? People will remember this as the start of my breakout year in SCW, you heard it here first because the world needs a new hero and her name is “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason! As Harper starts the latest Vlog we can see that sees a bit amused by the match type she got thrown into by the Roulette Wheel tonight.

”You know, growing up on military bases because of my dad’s military service, later being a High School Standout in Amateur Wrestling and a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do? I have most definitely always been a tomboy!” Harper commented as she positioned the camera to show the evening gown that she had to wear tonight against Bea and Alicia. ”Give me jeans and a t-shirt over a dress or, in this case, an evening gown any day of the week! I guess I can blame that on my loss at least, I’m not used to moving around in those things, never mind wrestling!

At least Alicia stripped Bea to win the match and not me! But now I find myself in a situation where I’m teaming with someone else who lost tonight against the person who beat her and the person who was the internet champ before her partner! And Cassie has a lot of reasons to be mad at Aleesha after how their title match ended tonight!” Harper stated as she shook her head. ”First title match in SCW and that idiot in a cape makes a mockery of it! I’d be throwing hands at the ref too, fuck the rules, that was bullshit!”

Harper stated bluntly as she flips some hair over her shoulder.

”So why am I in the match? Presumably because I have teamed with Cassie beforehand, in and out of SCW, while Bella and Aleesha are going from title rivals to tag team partners without a choice! But that leaves us with one question: what happens if Young Justice wins?” Harper asked with a curious look on her face as she leaned back in her chair. ”Right now the only thing that’s known for certain is that Aleesha has made it known that she wants Bella as her next challenger because she hates how her title match ended at the Christmas Special.

I mean, you earned that shot for the Christmas Special, what the hell did you expect?” Harper asked with a dismissive shrug. ”That aside, I’m sure Cassie has a few things to say about that challenge! But what about me? Where do I stand as far as this match goes? The closest connection I have to Cassie’s beef with Aleesha and, to a lesser extent, Bella, is that I was Cassie’s opponent on the night she earned her title match against Aleesha, though personally? If Young Justice had to fight each other to get in the title scene, why does Bella get to have a free ride to a rematch? I thought rematch clauses weren’t a thing in SCW!”

Wednesday the 15th of January 2025, 17:00pm

It was early in the evening at Josh’s Gym in Las Vegas and Harper is just wrapping up getting her reps in for the day under Josh’s supervision.

”So, have you heard from Cass about the fine?” Harper asked as she took a break from her workout and turned to Josh. ”I know you offered to help her pay for it before she headed back to Reno.”

“I may not agree with how Cassie conducted herself in the title match Harper but I disagree with Guy With a Cape’s refereeing methods all the same.” Josh responded as he shook his head and Harper frowned as she folded her arms. “As for the offer? She hasn’t gotten back to me, she threatened to not pay it out of protest but I just pointed out that it could end in her getting fired instead.”

”I never understood SCW’s intergender rules anyway, literally every other fed under the sun has women wrestling men but suddenly it’s immoral in a fed based in and named after Sin City?” Harper asked as she started pacing around the ring a bit. ”For god’s sake, I won my first title in a tables match against a guy but a woman slapping a guy, referee or not, is suddenly a step too far?”

“I’ll admit, there’s arguments to be made for both sides there.” Josh nodded in agreement and Harper just shook her head. “Also, didn’t KCW go under not long after you won the Tv Title?”

”That was unrelated to my reign, I never even had my first defence of the title.” Harper pointed out with an annoyed sigh. ”I mean the promoter was kind enough to let me keep the title after they officially shut their doors but it still stung.”

“Which is why you keep it on your mantlepiece at the loft and it’s the only one of the three titles you won in your rookie year that you still hold.” Josh commented before he got a text and checked it. “Cassie’s found a way to pay the fine without being too out of pocket, refuses to elaborate why but says she’ll explain before Climax Control on Sunday.”

”We’ve got to get her to move back to Vegas, much as I love Cass as a friend, traveling up to Reno just to hang out is fucking ridiculous.” Harper commented as she shook her head and Josh nodded in agreement. ”I mean, her relationship with Zoey and Becky ended some time before she joined SCW, the problems she had with Krystal through most of 2023 are water under the bridge, what’s keeping her eight hours away from us by car?”

“I don’t know but she has made it a goal to move back to Vegas and I will help her with that.” Josh responded with a nod as Harper stretched on the ropes. “No comment on her way around the fine?”

”Cassie is a lot of things, smart is one of them.” Harper responded with a shrug as she knelt down in a corner. ”I had a feeling she’d have a workaround but I don’t know why she’s being secretive about it.”

“I’m sure she has her reasons, but for now? Let’s focus on training for the match.” Josh commented and Harper quickly nodded in agreement before she did just that.

We cut to Harper in Josh’s gym, sitting with her legs crossed.

”Aleesha is certainly full of herself isn’t she? She thinks she has it all figured out! That her next defence will be against Bella at Inception VI in a few weeks.” Harper scoffed as she shook her head. ”I thought the general rule was that the bosses make the title matches, not the champion or the challengers! Then again, exceptions do seem to be made for open challenges.

But this wasn’t an Open Challenge, this was a champion going into business for herself after a crooked ref handed her a first title defence on a silver platter!” Harper shook her head with a frown on her face. ”Funny, because I could’ve sworn Aleesha threw accusations at Cass for doing the same thing at the Christmas Special but I guess it’s only a bad thing when it doesn’t benefit you.”

Harper shakes her head.

”Wonder how long it’ll take me to go to every bookstore, library or places that sell dictionaries in general and put Aleesha’s mugshot next to the word “hypocrite”? And don’t even get me started on doing the same for online dictionaries!” Harper wondered to herself as she scratched her chin in thought. ”Probably the same amount of time Guy takes to rub his two braincells together! And then there’s Bella who’s being dragged into this after winning the first match of the year against Bobbie Dahl!

I mean, if we’re including people who have beaten Bobbie, shouldn’t that include Alexandra Callaway? Oh wait, she’s busy with Bea Barnhart for some reason, how about everyone who’s beaten Bobbie since she made her original SCW debut?” Harper laughs a bit at the thought. ”I mean, why not make it a Rumble? Jokes aside, I addressed this in my last vlog, why is a champion being allowed to call the shots? Is Aleesha really this blind to her own hypocrisy?”

Good question.

”I guess we’ll find out the answer if the match between her and Bella goes through, IF that is.” Harper stated as she stood up and folded her arms. ”Because I seem to remember the bosses not liking it when the wrestlers make choices without consulting them first and I don’t remember the bosses being mentioned once during Aleesha’s promo on Sunday Night.

What’s the matter Aleesha? Too busy dismissing Cassie as trash to even think about that?” Harper asked as she shook her head. ”Me and Cassie are better women than you’ll ever hope to be and no one will care about your reigns when they are over, and who knows? Maybe Young Justice will throw a spanner in the works by pinning you in this tag match? Christian’s one of the pettiest men I’ve ever met, you really think he wouldn’t screw with you little plans after you taste your first defeat? Think about it Aleesha!”

We see Harper in Hero Academy with Hero Academy student and mutual friend of both Young Justice members Zara, taking a break after the two women had a sparring match in the ring.

”So Cass hasn’t been around all week?” Harper asked Zara who could only shrug in response. ”I know she’s been training at Josh’s gym whenever she’s made the trip down from Reno but with the Tag Team Match on Sunday?”

“You saw how her Internet Title Match went Harp, you really think Cass is in a good mindset right now?” Zara asked and Harper frowned before nodding. “Not to mention this tag team match essentially stemmed from that title match.”

”Don’t get me started, Guy’s biased officiating would have me ranting more than Cass.” I grunted in response to that statement and Zara nodded in understanding. ”I’m being dragged into this mess just like Bella, but unlike Bella? I lost my match last Sunday! I’m pretty much in this tag team match because me and Cass have teamed before.”

“While Bella and Aleesha were thrown together for the hell of it.” Zara nodded in agreement as she folded her arms. “But you realize the potential opportunities you and Cass could get if you do win, right?”

”Potentially pinning an unbeaten Bombshell Internet Champion? Albeit one with an asterisk next to her name thanks to the fact that she got injured in the middle of her first reign?” Harper asked and Zara nodded in response. ”Stevie Wonder could see the advantages of winning a match like that, off course I realize it! Especially if Aleesha gets pinned.”

“In other words, regardless of Cassie’s mental state you need to take this opportunity by the balls.” Zara advised Harper and Harper quickly nodded before Zara stood up. “Shall we get back to training?”

”Let’s.” Harper responded before they did just that.

Harpin’ on with Harper, Harper’s Loft, Las Vegas, Nevada
Thursday the 16th of January 2025, 21:00pm

As Harper prepares her final vlog of the day we see her in her loft with a grin on her face.

”When it comes down to it? Me and Cass are entering this match with different goals in mind, beyond the obvious goal of winning off course.” Harper stated as she leaned forward on her desk. ”Cass wants revenge on Aleesha for basically having a ref in her back pocket foe her first defence but me? I just want to teach the champion a lesson in humility.

Something she’s clearly lacked since she made her debut against Ariana in 2023!” Harper stated as she brushes some hair over her shoulder. ”But I can’t discount Bella, I’ve wrestled her before and I know she’s a hell of an athlete, I was actually happy for her after Bella won the Bombshell Internet Title at High Stakes but off course, Aleesha has to rain on her parade.”

Harper scoffs as she shakes her head.

”Does Aleesha really think people buy her story of using her title shot from the Rumble on Bella because she respected her? I have an easier time believing the Governments trying to ban TikTok because they care about people’s data being stolen all of a sudden!” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”The real reason is because you can’t stand anyone else being in the spotlight and you saw Bella as an easy target after she beat Julianna, isn’t it?

But sure, go on and on about how Cassie went into business for herself at the Christmas Special while acting like you can name challengers just because you feel like it!” Harper scoffed as she rolled her eyes. ”We see you for the hypocrite you are Aleesha and I feel sorry for Bella because she’s been dragged into this mess after one win! And I can’t wait to put you down on Sunday Aleesha!”

It's that simple.

”Now don’t get me wrong, I know from personal experience that Bella is sa fantastic wrestler and I’m not discounting her in this match, but it’s hard to see her when her partner’s a raging egomaniac with no self-awareness or decency!” Harper added as she leaned back in her chair. ”And what’s more? I’m not going to stand here and let Queen Afro belittle me when she fucked off for over a year rather than face any real challenge!

Yeah, I don’t buy the injury story either, it just seems too convenient for me!” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”And considering she hasn’t even addressed what Cassie’s said about her injury claims? Well, I’ll let you draw your own conclusion!”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”This match is basically between two hungry young women with nothing to lose, the former champ and an egomaniac who happens to be the champion, gotta love wrestling sometimes, what can I say?” Harper asked rhetorically as she shook her head. ”Well here’s one thing I can say, me and Cass look forward to handing Aleesha her first ever loss and Bella her first loss of the year because we’re not sitting idly by while a champion calls the shots on her own challengers.

I mean if champions could actually do that, why not The Troll or either of the Barnharts? Just saying!” Harper added before shaking her head. ”That aside? It’s high time that Aleesha had her taste of humble pie because the world needs a new hero and Young Justice will always be on hand to ensure that justice is served! See you in the ring Aleesha and Bella!”

Harper turned off her camera as the scene fades.

Harpin’ On With Harper, Backstage at Climax Control 412, Long Beach, California

We see Harper looking frustrated as she paces around the parking lot of the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California.

”You know? I can take losing to Alexandra, that woman’s a hell of a talent and someone I learned a lot from just by being in the same ring as her.” Harper commented as she let out a deep breath. ”What I can’t take is one of the co-owners trying to mess with me and Cassie’s friendship based on two events that happened over the past few weeks, first there was the High Stakes rumble and the fact that Cassie eliminated me! As I said after the fact, I was fine with that because I knew that match was every woman for themselves but still felt that there were issues to resolve which led to the tag team match.

Can you say “going from bad to worse”?”

Harper shakes her head.

”I had been looking forward to a chance to team with Cass since I heard that she had signed with SCW this past Summer, did that tag team debut take a bit longer than  I would’ve ideally liked? Yeah, but if that was the only issue with that damn match I wouldn’t be in this mess!” Harper let out a deep breath as she folded her arms. ”Cassie blames me for the loss, saying that I deliberately took my time getting to the top rope for that Missile Dropkick, you know, because that happened early in the match and wasn’t the thing that led to Mackenzie getting the win!

Look, I get it, we’re young, hell, Cass is a year older than me and I won’t be able to drink legally until next September, but blaming me for something that wasn’t even my fault? Hell no! I was willing to move on after she eliminated me from the Rumble but blaming me for Mackenzie having the presence of mind to get out of the way?!”

Harper’s frown deepens.

”This is all coming to ahead at next week’s Christmas special, ironically the very show we were trying to earn a title shot on when we entered the Rumble in the first place! And just for an extra sprinkling of irony? The match is a #1 Contenders Match for the Bombshell Internet Title, the very same title that the winner of the rumble, Aleesha Jones, challenged for and will be challenging Bella Madison on the same damn night!” Harper let out a deep breath as she continued. ”I know second hand embarrassment is a thing, but what about second hand migraines?

Because I feel one coming in, courtesy of the guy who manages both me and Cass heading into this match! Yeah, I don’t envy Josh one bit!”

It’s been a few hours since the penultimate episode of Climax Control in the year of 2024 aired and we see Harper in her hotel room with Josh, the young wrestler doesn’t look happy.

”Welp! It’s official!” Harper grunted in frustration as she leaned back in her chair. ”Me and Cass will be facing off next Sunday.”

“I know you didn’t want this Harper but you need to face facts.” Josh commented as he shook his head and Harper turned to him. “As long as you and Cassie were both on the Bombshell roster you were going to face off eventually.”

”I knew that! But I at least hoped that me and Cassie being a tag team would starve that off for a while!” Harper sighed as she folded her arms. ”Instead? Young Justice’s first match as a tag team in SCW led to more friction between us, and do I even need to bring up how the High Stakes Rumble ties into this?!”

“No, but at least you are fighting for a prize.” Josh responded as he shook his head and Harper’s frown deepened as she realized what he meant. “Said prize being a title that could very well be held by the winner of the High Stakes Rumble for that matter.”

”Yeah, either I face Bella or Aleesha for the Internet Title or Cassie does, much as I’d love to watch Cassie tear it up with Bella I have to look out for me here.” Harper responded with a frustrated sigh. ”That’s not even getting into how motivated Aleesha will be to regain her title considering she ended 2023 by vacating the thing due to injury! Throw in the fact that, it being the Christmas Special and all, the matches will definitely be Christmas themed.”

“And that could mean any number of things.” Josh nodded in agreement before he sat down on a chair. “Look Harper, I want what’s best for both you and Cassie in SCW, that has been made clear enough, but the bosses have put me in an important situation here, if I show partiality towards you than Cassie might doubt keeping me on as her manager for much longer, but if I show partiality towards her?”

”Can I just interject there for a sec?” Harper asked and Josh gave her the go ahead. ”Josh, you’ve been my manager since Jessie’s health scare last December and that was over a year ago by this point, I think I can trust you enough by this point.”

“That is true, I’ve done more than enough to earn your trust as your manager, but I still worry for Cassie’s mental state heading into thing.” Josh responded with a sigh before he stood up. “Which is why I have to make this difficult decision, I won’t be accompanying you or Cassie to ringside this week.”

”……….err, excuse me, what?!” Harper asked with a shocked look on her face. ”You realize that this will be the first time I’ve entered a match without a manager since I signed with SCW, right? Cassie initially went it alone but me? First I had Jessie and then you took over after Jessie’s health scare and pregnancy took her off the road for most of 2024!”

“I anticipated this reaction but you didn’t have a manager for your matches outside of SCW, that only became a thing after Jessie went on hiatus, which was extended by the pregnancy, I’ll give you that.” Josh nodded in understanding as he paced around the room. “You’re an intelligent young woman Harper, use that, I will be relaying the news to Cassie shortly but you should both be able to figure it out.”

”Funny, this whole mess started with me entering the High Stakes Rumble and I went out of my way to tell Cassie ahead of time, now it’s come full circle.” Harper commented with a slight laugh as she shook her head. ”Do you at least have some advice for facing off with Cassie?”

“You’re young, you know each other extremely well, you’re both trained by Team Hero and while Cassie has the speed advantage your jack of all trades style of wrestling should cancel it out.” Josh advised me and Harper nodded as she started to weigh her options. “But if you ask me, it’ll come down to who’s hungrier and the stipulation you girls get stuck with.”

”Easier said than done, Cassie hasn’t held a title since her rookie year, not for lack of trying off course, off the three titles I won in my rookie year I still have one of them and that’s only because the fed went under while I was the TV Champ.” Harper sighed as she ran a hand through her hair. ”And it’s as you said, this math is basically a Christmas themed Roulette Rules Match!”

“You’ll figure it out, and I’ll tell Cassie the same when I talk to her.” Josh responded before he went to leave the room. “Good night Harper.”

”Night Josh.” Harper responded before Josh left the room and she shook her head. ”I was so excited when Cassie joined SCW during the summer and now we’re ending the year by warring for a shot at the Bombshell Internet Title, Krystal’s right, fate does have a wicked sense of humour!”

As Harper starts her second vlog for the match we can see her looking reflective.

”You know, I don’t hate the majority of Christmas songs, some are just cheesy good fun, Fairytale of New York has aged like milk in the Saharra Dessert, Last Christmas is annoyingly catchy, but there is one song I fucking hate above all the others.” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”Do They Know It’s Christmas, the only thing that reaches the level of aggravation that song brings me is that one by John Lennon and Yoko Ohno but this one tips the scales because of how preachy it is!

Why am I bringing this up? Simple, it’s the week before Christmas but with the sour mood this whole situation with Cassie has left me in? it may as well be literally any other day of the year for all I care!”

Harper stated with an annoyed grunt.

”And all because I didn’t want my second High Stakes match to be one where the winner has to wear baby wear! I didn’t even know they did babywear in Bobbie’s size and I’d rather not think of the implications behind the fact that such a costume exists!” Harper commented with a slight shudder. ”But the point is that you guys should know the story by now! Cassie eliminated me from the Rumble, I thought “no big deal, it’s every woman for themselves and we’ll figure out a way to resolve things later” except my idea for resolving things only made it worse after I accidentally cost us the tag match!

“Look, I can’t believe I have to pay this but I didn’t go into that match planning to sabotage the whole thing! What reason would I have to do that? All that would do is hurt my career just as much as it hurt Cassie’s! but now Cassie has gotten it into her head that that was my plan all along and I need to beat some sense into her at the Christmas Special to make this right!”

Harper sighed as glance up at the ceiling.

”Me and Cassie have been friends for a long time, longer than either of us have been in SCW in fact! We started off as friendly rivals since we both graduated from the same place and tried to outdo each other whenever we could but it eventually evolved into us being flat out friends, when she joined SCW? I had a feeling Christian would eventually look for an excuse to book this match, and low and behold, here we are and there’s a title shot at stake as well.

Both me and Cass have one other thing is common: we won our first titles during our rookie years but we’ve struggled to get our hands on more championship gold since then, we’re both hungry for this, that should be clear, but who’s hungrier? That’s one hell of a loaded question.”

Harper is at her laptop in her loft on a video call with her auntie Therese.

”Trust me to leave the Christmas Shopping to the week before Christmas Eve!” Harper commented to Theresa as she shook her head. ”Thank god Amazon Prime makes it a lot easier, am I right?”

“Absolutely, I don’t know what I’d do without it.” Therese nodded in agreement and Harper grinned. “Have you gotten all the small presents for Mackenzie and Jason?”

”Literally just ordered them, I’ll send you a test when they are delivered and you can come pick them up.” Harper responded with a grin and Therese nodded with a smile on her face. ”So, what was the big present you had planned for my siblings? Because the way you talked about it made it seem like it wasn’t a game console or anything.”

“You’re right there Harper, and I suppose I’d better show you.” Therese responded before she picked up the phone and turned the camera around, when Harper saw the two Black Lab puppies she cooed. “Since you got Logan and Xavier after your parents died they have wanted a pet of their own, they don’t have a name yet but they are from the same breeder as Logan and Xavier.”

”Oh my god! I have to meet them ASAP!” Harper responded with a giddy squee and Theresa chuckled. ”And you said you had something big for me?”

“I do, but I’m not revealing that until Christmas.” Theresa added and Harper nodded as she got the idea. “And that’s still over a week away, can’t believe SCW is making you wrestle so close to Christmas.”

”If only that was the only issue with my match on Sunday.” Harpe sighed as she ran a hand through her hair. ”You know my usual Christmas week routine Therese, chill out, get the dogs pupicinos, the works, but this whole situation with Cass has thrown me off.”

“I know, Josh told me yesterday.” Therese sighed as she shook her head. ”No matter who wins, just promise me you’ll make amends with Cass, alright? I hate to see such a close friendship crash and burn over a misunderstanding.”

”It’s as I said to Josh when we were still in Long Beach, that’s a lot easier said than done, but I’ll try.” Harper sighed as she leaned back. ”Especially since we’re fighting for a title shot!”

“I believe in you Harper, good luck with the match.” Therese respondd before the conversation drifted off.

We cut to Harper in her loft, ready for the last vlog of the year.

”Twas the Week Before Christmas, and all through SCW, not a creature was stirring, but that was about to change thanks to Harper, who knew?” Harper stated as she let out a deep breath. ”Okay, yeah, that was a stretch but it’s different from the tired and cliché Twelve Days of Christmas parody, am I right? If only I was right about that tag team match resolving me and Cassie’s issues.”

Harper lets out a deep breath.

”Don’t get me wrong, under literally any other circumstances? I’d welcome a chance to get a title opportunity like that, but the events that led to this match between me and Cass have left a sour taste in my mouth.” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”Who knows where we’d be if I stayed out of the High Stakes Rumble? At the very least I wouldn’t be literally fighting to keep my friendship with Cass alive!

But Cass? As much as I love you as a person and a friend? We both know this can only end one way.”

It’s that simple.

”Take away all the drama between us Cass and we have two young women who are hungry for their first championships in SCW, for me? This would be my third title shot since arriving in SCW last year and first shot at the Bombshell Internet Title while this would be your first title shot since arriving here.” Harper added as she let out a deep breath. ”But let me make one thing very clear: This Isn’t What I Wanted, at all! And I sure as hell didn’t want to cost us the tag team match! But you’ve gotten it into your head that that was what I wanted all along, to which I have one question:

Why Cass? I thought we were friends?”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”And yeah, the cynical among you will say something like “friendship has no place in wrestling” but my counter to that argument is: how are most teams formed in the first place?” Harper asked with an exasperated sigh. ”Regardless of the state of our friendship after this Cass? I’m not backing down, not when there’s an Internet Title Shot at stake! I’m not even thinking about Aleesha or Bella at this point, the one thing on my mind is trying to salvage our friendship and if I can earn my first title shot of 2025 aloong the way? All the better because the world needs a new hero in “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason but it needs Young Justice to be friends again even more! Either way, see you on Sunday.”

It’s late at night in Tucson and we see Harper, still a bit tired from wrestling two matches on the High Stakes card, getting ready to film her vlog.

”I don’t normally do a vlog in the early hours of the morning but here I am, doing just that! What can I say? Tonight’s show has left me with a lot on my mind.” Harper sighs as she brushes some hair over her shoulder. ”On one hand I won my match with Bobbie, took me long enough to win a match with the Fragile Wings, right? But on the other hand? Cassie eliminated me from the Rumble.

Look, I may be young but I’m not naïve, I knew heading into the match that is was going to be every woman for themselves and hell, my elimination wasn’t even the worst, looking at you Dawn Warren, but it still stung to be eliminated like that by someone I consider a friend.”

Harper lets out a deep breath.

”I’m not going to confront her over that fact tonight, we’re both tired and we just want to get some sleep before we head back to Vegas tomorrow, but there is one outcome I’m hoping for when we do have that talk.” Harper leans forward and thinks about what she’s going to say. ”In some way, I hope that Young Justice finally debuts in SCW as a result of this, why you ask? Even if we make amends, there’s still gonna be some bad blood between us, and reminding everyone of what a team of friends can do would be a great way to do that.

Off course, the question then becomes: who will be our opponents? London Underground’s members haven’t been seen in ages, I’d rather not wrestle the Zdunichs again so soon and the Go Sisters were never really a thing even when Krystal and Ariana were on the roster, either way though? Me and Cass have shirt to sort out.”

It’s the day after the incident at Josh’s gym and Harper has just relayed what happened to Jessie.

”So a smoking hot redhead entered Josh’s gym through the emergency exit, left before any questions could be asked and was possibly seen leaving on a motorbike?” Jessie surmised and Harper nodded in response to the question. ”Kid, if that girl was a wrestling trainee then that doesn’t narrow things down, we’re in a business that has just as many smoking hot babes as it does brooding guys!”

”Jess, I’ve been wrestling for over a year now, I’ve noticed.” Harper responded simply as she shook her head. ”I almost blew it off until this Brooke Shields person showed up on my Twitter timeline.”

”The tattooed redhead who says she’s a Go Gym Graduate from LA? Yeah, I’ve seen her.” Jessie nodded as she realized who Harper was talking about. ”Where you able to confirm that?”

”Don’t know why you’d lie about graduating from such a successful gym but Kelly and Hayley confirmed that she graduated during the post High Stakes week alongside her boyfriend Logan.” Harper added before shrugging. ”All they told me otherwise is that she’s talented but is content with being Logan’s manager for now, apparently they signed their SCW contracts too late for Logan to have his debut match this Sunday.”

”That could’ve happened for any number of reasons, I know from speaking to Krystal that Gabriel can be a tough negotiator when it comes to getting his students signed.” Jessie responded with a neutral expression on her face. ”As for the manager thing? Who knows? I know SCW’s a bit low on male talent right now.”

”True, and whatever the case is? Right now my focus is on the tag team match.” Harper responded before stretching her arms a bit. ”What’s your take on it?”

”Surprised on two fronts, that Crystal was able to talk Mackenzie Page into it and that she’s hanging out with London Underground at all.” Jessie responded with a scoff as she shook her head. ”Charlotte and Mackenzie are two of the most vicious bitches I’ve ever wrestled, they alone would be good opposition for you and Cassie but Mackenzie and Crystal? Two completely different personalities and wrestlers.”

”Yeah but doesn’t that describe me and Cassie?” Harper asked as she folded her arms. ”She’s a high flyer, I’m more of an all-rounder, she’s a sassy girl with a wicked sense of humour and, for lack of a better term, I’m more straight laced and straight forward.”

”In a way but beneath all of that you and Cass still bright, intelligent girls, Crystal seems to have turned over a new leaf but who knows if it’ll stick and Mackenzie, well she’s the opposite of you two.” Jessie responded as she shook her head. ”Either way, they will be one hell of a fight for you and Cass, I suggest we get to training down in the home gym.”

”Are you okay to train me? It’s coming up to a year since the health scare that revealed your pregnancy and I’d rather not have a repeat of how I felt at that time.” Harper asked and Jessie turned to her. ”Just saying.”

”Relax, aside from the problems related to my past drug use I haven’t had any major health scares since I started training with Keira.” Jessie assured her as she shook her head and Harper nodded. ”And even those only really manifest as the occasional heart palpitation.”

”That’s good to know, though I’m still going to worry about you.” Harper responded as she shook her head. ”And if that does happen I’ll have the most morbid “I Told You So” moment ever.”

”That’s the spirit!” Jessie joked before leading Harper down to the home gym.

”Ever look at a match and wonder “how did that wrestler get roped into this?” Harper asked as she folded her arms. ”That’s what I’m wondering about Mackenzie’s partnership with Crystal, Cassie joked about blackmail material when we did our promo together but I’m not joking this time, I am legit wondering how Crystal got Mackenzie out of retirement to answer me and Cassie’s open challenge!”

Seriously.

”I’m familiar with the members of London Underground off course, I’ve trained at the Go Gym, with Charlotte and Mackenzie on occasion and off course, I know them from their legendary SCW run with the Bombshell and Mixed Tag Team Titles.” Harper added as she started to pace around. ”But that was years ago! I was in my early teens when they were active, are they back to the standards they had back then? The last time they wrestled as a team they lost to Krystal and Alexandra after last year’s Into the Void.

Not exactly an ideal return, is it?”

Harper shakes her head.

”And then we have Crystal, possibly the most controversial SCW Hall of Famer of all time and all because of her various antics over the years, La Rosa Ardiente anyone?” Harper joked as she smirked. ”And beyond that she’s easily the Bombshell I’ve wrestled the most this year! I wrestled her at the start of the year, in the first match of the SCW Callender no less, I got my win back against her sometime later, then I faced her and Seleana in a Tag Team Match with Bobbie and off course, the open invite rumble at High Stakes.

Off those matches Crystal has only beaten me once, I don’t count the rumble since neither of us won that match and she was eliminated before me anyway! Will this be any different for her?

We see Harper going over records at a local store with Josh nearby.

”Didn’t even know places like this still existed.” Harper commented to Josh as she looked over the records in the metal section. ”Makes a change from going through Bandcamp.”

“I thought you’d like this place me and Jessie discovered it years ago when she was going through her “Jessie Deserves Better” phase.” Josh explained and Harper nodded while instinctively rubbing the cheek Jessie slapped. “Still feeling that slap?”

”How can I forget?” Harper responded as she shook her head before looking through the records again. ”And it’s a good break from training with the holidays coming up.”

“Exactly.” Josh responded before spotting someone out of the corner of his eye and frowning. “She’s here too.”

”Huh?” Harper asked before she looked up and saw the same red haired tattooed woman who had visited the gym the other day, she was listening to music though and Harper shook her head. ”Not like it’s a private shop or anything, besides she’s probably just here to check it out like we are.”

“True.” Josh admitted with a nod before he turned his attention away from her. “Have you and Cass thought of what you want for Christmas yet?”

”Haven’t burned through my inheritance yet so it’s not like I need money.” Harper responded with a shrug and Josh nodded. ”And I haven’t spoken to Cass since we filmed that promo at her place either.”

“Fair, I’ll make sure to ask her when I pick Cass up for training later.” Josh nodded in response and Harper grinned. “And don’t worry, I’ll think of something.”

”Good to know.” Harper responded before she resumed her browsing, neither of them noticing the red head leaving the shop and driving off on her motorcycle as they did.

We cut to Harper in her loft and she looks determined.

”Last cycle I only lost one match, the High Stakes Rumble, and since then? I’ve had one thing on my mind, keeping that momentum going.” Harper stated as she folded her arms. ”I know beating Mackenzie and Crystal won’t be easy by any means but that doesn’t mean I won’t give this match my all! Hell, when I have I been known to half ass any of my matches since arriving in SCW?

Don’t answer that, I’m sure some smart asses have their own answers!”

Yep.

”But here’s the thing that I don’t think Crystal and Mackenzie realize, me and Cass? We’ve teamed before, not in SCW but elsewhere in the wresting world, and guess what?” Harper asked as she looked at her nails playfully. ”We know each other’s styles and we trust each other; can Crystal and Mackenzie say the same when they step into the ring with us on Sunday? One way to find out.”

It's that simple.

”Sure, those two have the general wrestling experience on their side but when has that stopped me or Cass from kicking ass in the ring?” Harper asked as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”The answer off course is never and this match won’t be any different, and you know what else? We won’t need Josh’s help to win like Christian thinks we do! I mean honestly, when have I needed his help in that way?”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”Never but that hasn’t stopped Christian from adding Daniel J. Morgan as the opposing team’s manager to keep things even.” Harper added as she shook her head. ”But I guess I’ll have to prove myself in the ring, won’t I, just like I did against Bobbie, same goes with Cass but once we do? Maybe then Christian will see how impartial a manager like Josh after we win because the world needs a new hero and her name is “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason! Who is not so secretly hoping to fast forward to the new year!”

We catch Harper sitting on a rock overlooking the city of Tucson, Arizona looking deep in thought as she thinks about the upcoming Supercard.

”I’d say this is a pretty appropriate place for me to start the second half of my vlogs for the Open Invite Match at High Stakes, wouldn’t you?” Harper asked rhetorically as she leaned back. ”Because let’s face it, I definitely have a mountain to climb at High Stakes because as of right now? I’m the only one on the roster willing to wrestle twice in the same night! As I just mentioned I’m focussing on the Open Invite Match for these Vlogs but I do have a lot to say to Bobbie about the match I was officially confirmed for this Sunday!

You’ll forgive me for prioritizing a match where I have a fairly decent chance at earning myself a title shot at the end of the year over a match where I’ll have a 50/50 chance of being humiliated at the next Climax Control, right?”

Harper asks sarcastically as she folds her arms.

”I’ll admit, I expected to have a bit more to say come week two in regards to this match what with the Open Invite stip and all, but nope! Aside from me the only other Bombshell who signed herself up so far is Aleesha Jones who just got back from injury and I can’t even say that my opposition that was already confirmed for the match has been all that talkative either!” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”Why? Because outside of Cass only one other confirmed participant has made her voice heard, namely Alexandra, everyone else?

Radio silence! Not a peep from Mercedes, Seleana, Crystal or Song! Granted Seleana didn’t say anything in the lead up to my recent tag team match against her and Crystal but that doesn’t explain the others! Yeah, I know, Thanksgiving is this week and maybe they’ve got that on their mind instead? Either way, I’m entering this match with a clear goal.”

Which is?

”Like Cass I’ve already made my mind up on who I’ll challenge at the Christmas special if I win on Sunday, unsurprisingly? It’s the Bombshell Roulette Title that I have my eyes set on!” Harper added as she stretched a bit. ”Why? Aside from the fact that Jessie cut her teeth as a champion in the Roulette Division, my beef with Victoria is pretty well documented, and Luna? I’ve wanted a one on one match with her since she gave me that tainted win over Sam Marlowe in the lead up to Blaze of Glory.

So yeah, I have personal reasons as well as professional reasons for going after that title if I win, but again, that’s if I pick up the win over Alexandra, Cassie, Song, Mercedes, the Zdunichs and Aleesha!”

We see Harper in her suite as the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson where she is currently relaxing at her computer.

”Man, Josh really went all out for me and Cassie’s suites.” Harper muttered to herself before she rested her hands behind her head. ”Can’t afford to get too comfy here, not with two matches ahead of me this Sunday, not to mention the Prime taping.”

Harper’s train of thought was interrupted by a knock at the door and she went to answer it, finding Jessie on the other side. ”Surprised?” Jessie asked upon seeing the look on Harper’s face. ”I’ve had to miss every other Supercard this year because of my pregnancy, did you really think I was going to miss High Stakes Harp?”

”No, just surprised that you’re here at all since April’s not even a year old yet.” Harper responded as she shook her head before stepping aside to let Jessie in and she followed her in. ”Hell by my math she’s barely three months old.”

”Right on the money, always knew you were a smart kid, but we brought April up with us for the week, she won’t remember it off course but this is pretty much her first vacation.” Jessie shrugged as Harper closed the door behind her and tuned to her older cousin. ”At least I thought you were a smart kid until I caught wind that you had decided to wrestle twice at High Stakes.”

”Oh here we go.” Harper sighed in response as she rolled her eyes. ”If you stopped by to try to talk me out of wrestling twice on the same night Jessie that ship’s already sailed since my vlogs for the rumble went up last week, but I didn’t want my second High Stakes to be remembered for a match where the loser has to wear baby wear to the next Climax Control.”

”Even if your vlogs didn’t go up? I wouldn’t have tried anyway, you’re just as stubborn as me Harp, and in some ways that’s a blessing and a curse.” Jessie sighed as she shook her head. ”As for the match you’re officially competing in? I have to give Bobbie credit because I didn’t think she had that kind of sense of humour in her! But even so, you’re going to be exhausted from the first match of the night thanks to this, it’s the whole reason I bowed out of competing in the last Open Invite Match.”

”You mean that rubber match against Melissa?” Harper asked and Jessie nodded without hesitation. ”No offence but that match was an Iron Woman Match, my match with Bobbie has no stipulations attached outside of the once involving the next Climax Control, they aren’t exactly the same!”

”Oh I know, but with the workload you’re setting yourself up for? It may as well be an Iron Woman Match!” Jessie responded as she shook her head. ”And speaking as someone who’s last SCW match was against Alexandra? She isn’t one to be taken lightly, for fuck’s sake she’s older than me and has been wrestling longer than me!”

”And I’m still wondering what’s up with the genes in her family considering she doesn’t look much older than me or Cass!” Harper responded with a nod as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”Surprised you’re not talking about Aleesha’s return.”

”Didn’t learn about it until I watched Cassie’s second promo admittedly, haven’t had a chance to keep up what with the baby and all.” Jessie shrugged before she sat down on a chair. ”Aleesha can be a bitch but she’s a hell of a wrestler, don’t forget, she only lost the Bombshell Internet Title due to injury, she never dropped that thing to anyone, Cass put it best, she’s back to  pick up where she left off and we both know what that means.”

”Julianna.” Harper nodded in response as she started to pace around. ”With all due respect to Bella, Aleesha might be her biggest threat in this match, assuming she’s back for the long haul and this isn’t just a one off.”

”I don’t claim to know her that well so it’s hard to say, never even faced her the first time around.” Jessie responded as she shook her head. ”Josh has done a hell of a job prepping you and Cass for this match, and in your case? For the match with Bobbie as well, just be ready for anything at High Stakes.”

”I will be.” Harper nodded in response before Jessie left the suite.

We cut to Harper in her suite a couple of hours removed from Jessie’s visit and she has a few things on her mind.

”One thing I’ve been asking myself since Jessie returned is this: do I miss having her as a manager?” Harper asked hypothetically as she had a thoughtful look on her face. ”Jessie got my foot in the door last year, that much is obvious, but after her pregnancy forced her to step down as my manager and Josh stepped up to take her spot? I’ve just felt a lot more confident in general, I mean hell, I don’t think I would’ve signed myself up for the Rumble otherwise if we’re being honest.

It's definitely a loaded question and one I’ll probably ponder for as long as I have Josh as my manager but on the subject of the rumble?”

Here we go.

”Let’s look at my history with some of my opponents in this thing, not counting anyone who hasn’t signed themselves up yet obviously, my history with Cass is pretty obvious and anyone who followed my post High Stakes career last year knows full well what my history with Mercedes is like.” Harper added before shaking her head. ”Spoiler alert: it isn’t pretty! Crystal and Seleana were my last opponents on Climax Control and Alexandra was one of my opponents in that handicap match that I’m still made about months later!

That just leaves Song and Aleesha, two Bombshells that I’ve yet to face one on one, Song proved to be fun opposition for me in the fatal four way before Violent Conduct and Aleesha? Well, it’s easier to count the Bombshells in this match she hasn’t faced considering she literally just returned!”

Harper shakes her head.

”All vying for the same prize at High Stakes, that title shot at the next Christmas special.” Harper grins a bit. ”I guess we all want to get that little Christmas gift for ourselves, don’t we? But from my point of view, some of us are clearly hungrier for that opportunity than others.

Guess what? I’m one of them!”

It’s a few hours later and Harper is running on a treadmill with Josh spurring her on at a local gym.

“Come on Harper, keep the speed up.” Josh encouraged Harper as she kept running on the treadmill. “You signed yourself up for two matches, we need to make sure that your speed and stamina is on point.”

”I get that, but have done amateur wrestling tournaments in the past, faced more than one opponent in a day back then as well.” Harper responded before Josh upped the speed for her and she picked up the pace. ”How different can it be from pro wrestling?”

“For one thing? You never faced more than one opponent in those matches.” Josh pointed out and Harper had to admit that he had a point. “And you generally wrestled girls in your weight class, not double your weight class like Bobbie.”

”Good point.” Harper admitted before she focussed on running the treadmill again, she stopped after a bit, getting  off the treadmill to catch her breath. ”I mean Jessie thinks I’m making a big mistake by doing this but after all the crap I’ve put up with over the past month or so? I feel I need this!”

“I understand both you and Jessie’s points of view but I’m still going to train you hard to get you ready for that task.” Josh responded with an understanding nod and Harper grinned in response. “Off course I don’t want to train you too hard.”

”Yeah, least I fall victim to an injury during training like Aleesha did last year.” Harper nodded in agreement before sitting on a weight bench. ”Still find it funny that she timed her return almost a year to the day after she vacated her title.”

“Either it’s a coincidence and Aleesha saw the rumble as an opportunity or you’re right.” Josh nodded in agreement before passing Harper a water bottle which she took. “The rumble was announced weeks ago so it’s not like she hasn’t had time to prepare.”

“Same goes for everyone else in the match, including those yet to sign up.” Harper nodded in agreement before letting out a deep breath. ”Guess I’d better get back to this, up for being my spotter?” Harper asked as she motioned towards the weights and Josh nodded before adjusting the weights for Harper’s strength level and allowing Harper to get started.

With a lot on her mind heading into her second High Stakes we see Harper focussed and ready for war.

”What a difference a year makes, last year I was unsure of myself after that bullshit loss to Bea and heading into a match with a legend, this year? I got that win back over Bea, I’m set to take on the challenge of two huge matches in the same night and god knows what else will happen at High Stakes.” Harper stated as she ran a hand through her hair. And for reasons I’ve already discussed? I wouldn’t have it any other way!”

Yep.

”Between Cass, Alexandra, Mercedes, Seleana, Crystal, Aleesha and whoever else signs up? This will be a hell of a test for me.” Harper stated as she folded her arms and looked at the camera. ”But I’m ready for it! I’ve trained hard, I’ve committed myself to this insane task that at the end of the day, I’ll only have myself to blame for and if all goes well?”

It's that simple.

”I’ll not only enter the Christmas Special with my eyes on Roulette Gold but I’ll make Bobbie eat her own words! All in a day’s work, am I right?” Harper added as she shifted her weight. ”And once the dust settles on this Rumble at High Stakes? I’ll set my sights on Bobbie and after I put her useless ass down again? Well, winning two huge matches in the same night sounds pretty sweet, doesn’t it?”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”I know it’s easier said than done especially when it comes to that rumble since there’s still time for someone else to throw their hat it the ring, but me?” Harper asked as she flip[ped some hair over her shoulder. ”I couldn’t feel more ready for this if I tried because the world needs a new hero and her name is “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason!”

We see Harper backstage at Climax Control 410, still fuming over how her match against the Zdunichs ended.

”You know, it’s funny, Bobbie is the one over here preaching about honour and shit by calling me a crybaby, and what does she do in our tag team match?” Harper seethes as she runs a hand through her hair. ”She takes a god damn backseat! She was perfectly happy to let me wrestle the Zdunichs like it was a handicap match, because god knows I haven’t had enough of those this year, and every time it seemed like I had the match won, either by submission or pin fall, THEN she tagged herself in.

How the fuck do you justify that Bobbie? You’ve already got me to agree to your bullshit stipulation to our tie breaker match, now you have to steal victory from me as well? and yet you try to frame me as the bad guy and for what? Daring to make my voice heard when you’d rather I’d keep my mouth shut? I guess it’s true what they say, there’s no honour among thieves!”

Harper spits to the side.

”You heard me Bobbie, you’re a thief! It wasn’t enough that you had to do five minutes of work tonight while someone younger, more talented and better trained than you did all the work, you had to take the glory for yourself!” Harper turns to someone off camera for a second. ”Josh? Take the phone for a sec.”

Josh complies and at Harper request he backs off a few feet until Harper, who’s still in her wrestling gear, is in full view of the camera at which point Harper throws up the middle finger.

”That was for you Bobbie! I have no respect for thieves and no excuse from you will change my mind on this matter! Quite frankly? I should’ve punched your overrated ass out the moment the match ended.” Harper walks up and takes the phone back from Josh. ”But regardless of what happened tonight? Our match is set for High Stakes, ridiculous stipulation or not! And frankly? I’m a lot happier heading into my second High Stakes than I was my first.

After all. At least the bullshit surrounding my last match actually fucking benefitted me this time!”

Harper’s Hotel Room, Flagstaff, Arizona
Monday the 11th of November 2024, 0:900am

The scene opens up outside of Harper’s hotel room where we see Josh and Jessie standing outside it.

“You think she’s awake at this time?” Josh asked as he turned to Jessie. “It’s not even 10:00am.”

”Harper stayed with me, Jake and Shane after her parents were murdered last year, she’s not exactly a late sleeper.” Jessie responded as she shook her head before knocking on the door. ”Harp, you awake yet?”

”Gimme a sec, going through Bandcamp e-mails.” Harper called back and a few minutes later Harper answered the door, her hair in a messy ponytail and clad in a sleeveless top and jean shorts. ”Morning guys, has Bobbie tried to justify taking the spotlight from me in the tag team match yet?”

“I haven’t been on Twitter since Sunday night so I wouldn’t know.” Joshua responded as he shook his head and Harper nodded. ”Still as pissed as you were last night?”

”Sleep helped me cool down a bit but I’m still angry about it.” Harper grunted in response to Josh’s question before heading back inside the hotel room accompanied by the two older wrestlers. ”What time’s checkout again?”

”11:00am, you’ve got a couple more hours.” Jessie responded after checking the time on her phone. ”Did you get a chance to look at the High Stakes card?”

”Not really, tried to stay off Social Media before I put my foot in my mouth again.” Harper responded as she shook her head. ”I’m assuming my tie breaker with Bobbie got officially confirmed and Cassie’s in the Open Invite Match?”

“Yes on both fronts, if you want to know who else is in the Bombshell Match it’s Mercedes Vargas, Song, Crystal and Seleana Zdunich and Alexandra Callaway.” Josh responded with a nod and Harper stretched her arms a bit. “With more to come with it being Open Invite, which brings me to my next point.”

”Whether or not I want a piece of the action, right?” Harper asked and Josh nodded. ”I’d be lying if I said that it wasn’t tempting, and let’s be honest the prize at stake is a lot better than the bullshit stipulation Bobbie came up with because I dared to speak my mind.”

”Just spare me the usual rant Harper, it’s way too early in the morning for me to have that much of a headache!” Jessie grunted as she messaged her forehead in annoyance and Harper just shook her head. ”And if you do decide to do that Open Invite Match? Good luck, last time they did that I bowed out because I was already wrestling later in the show!”

”You mean when Ariana had her last Roulette Title defence?” Harper asked and Jessie nodded. ”That was a pretty wild match, though this time around they have more than four pre-confirmed Bombshells.”

”Yeah, but this one seems to be a standard battle royal rather than a scramble to escape the arena with the title in hand.” Jessie nodded in agreement as she leaned against he wall. ”Though in this case I suppose it would be contract for that title match at the Christmas show.”

”Either way it’ll be interesting to see who signs up.” Harper responded before they felt their stomachs rumbling. ”And I guess that’s a sign that we should head downstairs for breakfast.”

“Guess so, have you done your packing yet?” Josh asked and Harper motioned to the packed suitcase by her bed.

”Only thing I haven’t packed are my toiletries and laptop which I’ll leave to the last minute since those things take literally seconds to pack.” Harper explained and with her two mentor figures satisfied she followed them out of the hotel room to grab some breakfast.

I pointed out the fact that you have declined so much that you submitted to Mercedes Vargas at Violent Conduct and suddenly that was too much? Oh wait, I’m the cry-baby here, I forgot, my bad!

Oh wait, I’m not the cry-baby here, you are! You couldn’t handle the truth so you had to resort to name calling and when Christian’s sadistic sense of humour kicked in and he booked that tag team match for last night’s show? You showed your true colours because you couldn’t stand the fact that a younger and more talented Bombshell was standing in your spotlight! And all this after you had a go at me for a lack of integrity, huh?”

Harper shakes her head.

”Why don’t we just face facts Bobbie, you fluked your way into that Roulette Title Win lasty year because by the end of the match you and Alexandra were both exhausted from that marathon of a match, something Alexandra proved when she took the title back from you in the Blast from the Past Tournament I might add, and you’ve struggled to remain relevant ever since!” Harper added with a smirk on her face. ”Did the injury help? No, off course not, as a former amateur wrestler I know how much injuries can suck! But look at your track record since coming back.

First match back? Lost to Victoria, then you lost against Mercedes as I said earlier, then to me a few weeks later, I literally carried you to your first win in months because you couldn’t be assed to wrestle for most of the match and how do you repay me? By being a glory hog and stealing the pin on Seleana.”

Harper just laughs.

”Is it because you wanted to taste a win for once or where you afraid of being upstaged by a Bombshell who isn’t even old enough to drink yet?” Harper asks as she flips some hair over her shoulder. ”If it was the latter? Too late, I had already upstaged you for most of the match because you couldn’t be bothered to do anything but the bare minimum as my tag team partner! Hell you were the laziest tag team partner I’ve ever had!

Granted my only other tag team partner to date has been Cass but my point still stands, and as for the possibility that you just wanted to win for once? Well I hope you enjoyed that feeling, because it’ll be the last time you experience it!”

We cut to Harper in her loft where she is hanging out with Cass.

”One year removed from my PPV debut and I’m fighting to prove myself again.” Harper commented as she walked towards the fridge and grabbed a drink. ”And you’re in the Open Invite Match.”

”I mean, that poll was so lopsided that I saw the invite match as my only ticket onto the High Stakes card anyway, the bosses only made it official when they confirmed me as one of the first entrants.” Cassie shrugged her shoulders in response. ”Have you given any thought towards entering it?”

”Still debating, for now my main focus is on Bobbie.” Harper explained before tossing Cassie a drink and taking one for herself. ”I almost wish the match was us against Seleana and Crystal, at least you wouldn’t have pulled the crap Bobbie did!”

”True that.” Cassie nodded in agreement before she opened her drink and Harper sat opposite her. ”And if it was me? I would’ve dropped the bitch with the Wolfe Hunt as soon as the bell rang, it would’ve been the least she deserved!”

”Believe me, I wish I had punched her lights out in hindsight.” Harper grunted in annoyance before sighing. ”Not like the bosses made us sign a no contact rule or something! But Jost talked me into leaving that fight for another day.”

”Screw that noise! She shouldn’t get to celebrate the win after letting you do most of the work and then taking the glory for herself.” Cassie responded as she shook her head. ”Josh will be training me for the Open Invite Match in between your training sessions with him, if you don’t get around to asking him about it? I will.”

”Glad to know that I can rely on you to have my back at least Cass.” Harper added before leaning forward with her drink in hand, ”To High Stakes!”

”To High Stakes!” Cassie echoed before their coke cans clanked together in a toast and the two girls kept talking for a while after that.

As Harper starts her final week one vlog we can see that she’s focussed on the task at hand.

”And here I am, ready to talk about Bobbie for the third match in a row! At least I wanted this damn match this time! Well, Bobbie set out the challenge because she thinks she’s an authority on how Bombshells should behave but as her actions at Climax Contro showed? She’s nothing more than an authority on how much an average wrestler can eat!” Harper shakes her head. ”Was the fat joke a step to far? Maybe but she should count herself lucky that she didn’t eat my punch after that stunt!”

Harper shakes her head.

”But no, I’m gonna save that for High Stakes because why waste my energy on a waste of space like Bobbie?” Harper added as she rolls her eyes. ”The only reason I accepted this match in the first place is to shut you up for good Bobbie! And if I get to embarrass you at the next Climax Control by dealing out some karma for all the cry-baby shit you’ve thrown around since I pinned you?

Well, I don’t know about you but I’d call that karma.”

It’s that simple.

”You should count yourself lucky that I’m giving you the time of day Bobbie but if it shuts you up then so be it! And when I do win this match and if I hear you complain? We’ll know who the real cry-baby is and here’s a hint, it’s not me!” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”It’s the worst thing to come out of Illinois since the Deep Dish Pizza, Bobbie Dahl!”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”Yeah, sorry Chicago but even Dominos beats your pizza any day of the week, much like I can beat Bobbie any day of the damn week!” Harper stated as she flashed the devil horns. ”And come High Stakes? I’ll prove just that when I give Bobbie a taste of her own medicine because the world needs a new hero and her name is “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason! Hope you’ve got that baby costume in extra-large Bobbie because I’ll see you in the ring at High Stakes where I’ll show the world that you have no honour!”

”Did I overreact when I stumbled upon the initial card for next week’s Halloween Special? Maybe, but I’ve been busting my ass in SCW for over a year and for my boss to say that I’m nearly worthless to him and to get called a cry-baby by a certain boot licker just because I refuse to stay quiet about it? No, fuck that shit! I try to be the nice girl of professional wrestling and this is what it gets me? Disrespect from the boss who’s supposed to be the nice co-owner and a Bombshell who’s quickly falling into one hit wonder territory?” Harper shakes her head with a grunt. ”I may have had respect for Bobbie when I challenged her for the Bombshell Roulette Championship back in February but she is going a long way towards making me flush that down the toilet.

And for what? Because I got frustrated at the apparent fact that I was missing two shows in a row in the build up to this year’s High Stakes? You know, the biggest show of the year? Not even being considered for that Belle of the Brawl tournament because god fucking knows the likes of Prudence Pierce and Seleana Zdunich needed yet another opportunity to waste! Bobbie’s a fucking idiot trying to stay on the bosses’ good side, plain and simple!”

Harper lets out a deep breath.

”I mean seriously, what the hell was the selection process for these toughman and Belle of the Braw mini tournaments because they seem to be even more random than the Proving Ground Tournament, at least there’s no chance of the winner of this tournament being a fluke winner who quits after one title match, right Raine?” Harper shakes her head. ”In the end I got what I wanted, no, scratch that, what I should’ve had in the first place, a match on the next Climax Control! And trust me, whether it’s a regular Climax Control or High Stakes I won’t stay quiet! Some boot lickers will call me a crybaby for not just rolling with it and you know what I say to those idiots?

Fuck them. And that goes double for Bobbie, I’m not one to stand by while the likes and Bea Barnhart and Prudence Pierce stink up the joint in the opening match just because the co-owner says so I will make my voice heard and the boot lickers who’d rather stay quiet about it like Bobbie? Yeah, they can get fucked! Not like Bobbie’s borefest of a Roulette Title Reign will be remembered as anything but a placeholder for Alexandra to take her title back during Blast from the Past anyway!”

We see Harper in her loft alongside Cassie as the two young wrestlers are going over their costume choices.

”Right, it’s our first Halloween Special as bombshells, I’m the one who’s in action on Sunday night so I might as well go for something that’ll allow me to move freely.” Harper commented as she looked at the options on the costume shop’s website. ”What about you Cass?”

”I’ll go as something really scary: an Australian wrestler who’s been booked for the damn thing!” Cassie grunted in response as she shook her head. ”Seriously, how are we supposed to make names for ourselves when we’re being booked this inconsistently?! You only got the match against Bobbie booked by complaining about it on Twitter.”

”Yeah, and the bitch had the nerve to call me a cry-baby for refusing to keep my mouth shut!” Harper added with a grunt as she shook her head and Cassie nodded in agreement. ”Can’t wait to throw an extra stiff elbow her way on Sunday.”

”Meanwhile I’m trying to think of what I can do in the meantime not like I have anything planned right now.” Cassie added as she rolled her eyes. ”I mean seriously, was the world really clamouring for Bea Barnhart and Prudence Pierce to think up the joint? It was already enough of a joke that Prudence somehow found her way into the Proving Ground and Belle of the Brawl Tournaments!”

”Courtney’s gotta have some kind of blackmail on the bosses, it’s literally the only explanation for them trying anything with her after she peaked at winning the 2021 Blast from the Past Tournament.” Harper grunted in annoyance as she shook her head and Cassie nodded. ”And if I had to rant about Bea again I’d be here until next year’s Halloween special.”

”I hear that!” Cassie grunted in annoyance before they shifted their attention back to the costumes.

”You know what sounds like fun Bobbie? Doing some math, you first joined SCW in May of 2017, back when I was thirteen which I’m pretty much bringing up for the purposes of making you and anyone else watching this feel old, don’t like it? Too bad!” Harper scoffs as she shakes her head. ”I mean, that was basically the attitude you took to me initially not being booked right? Suck it up and wait for the next show.

You know what I’m going to say after you get lip split up? Same damn thing!”

Harper shakes her head.

”Why? Because you disrespected me when you called me a cry-baby for refusing to stay quit over the fact the bosses had booked a nothing match between Bea Barnhart and Prudence Pierce over, oh I don’t know, anyone with more relevance than Artie because those two are more relevant than the idiot who accidentally signed himself up to the Blast from the Past Tournament! But back to my original point, what did you do for the couple of years or so that you were in SCW before you came back?” I asked as I folded my arms. ”Oh, that’s right, someone to throw at a Bombshell Champion when they needed a challenge on a random Climax Control, you know, once you got the obligatory Tempest Match out of the way! It took you until December of last year to win your first title, six years, and you want to make fun of me for failing to win my first title?

Pathetic.”

Harper shakes her head.

”I respected you when we faced off for the Bombshell Roulette Title in February, I respected you when we faced off again in the Queen for a Day Match, this time? no such luck, because you had to go and piss me off with that cry-baby shit!” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”I don’t care what Halloween stipulation gets thrown our way Bobbie because you have a receipt coming for that bullshit! Call me thin skinned all you want but I was taught in Hero Academy that respect always comes firs.

Guess I’ll have to beat some respect into you Bobbie!”

It is the Friday before the Halloween special and Harper is at a costume store with Josh picking out her costume.

”Trust me to leave this until the last minute huh?” Harper sighed as she went over her costume choices. ”I mean Cass already has her costume picked out and she went to a place local to her in Reno.”

“At least you’re not picking out costumes on the day.” Josh pointed out and Harper nodded in agreement. “What costume is she going for?”

”All she told me was that she couldn’t decide between sexy vampire, Krystal Wolfe or Krystal Wolfe as a sexy vampire.” Harper shrugged her shoulders in response and Josh raised an eyebrow. ”Her words, not mine, though she has been lonely since she, Becky and Zoey ended the three way relationship they had a few months ago, anyway, since I’m going to be wrestling on Sunday I’ll need a costume that allows freedom of movement.”

“So something that features a crop top at least?” Josh asked and Harper nodded in response. “And I’m guessing anything labelled as “sexy” is off the table?”

”Please, if I actually wrestled in one of those things I’d never hear the end of it.” Harper responded as she shook her head and Josh nodded. ”And most of those costumes emphasize cleavage, something I’m definitely lacking thanks to my athletic build.”

“True, though I do think you’d look great in it.” Josh responded and Harper just shook her head. “Maybe try buying a full costume and modifying it appropriately?”

”That’s probably my best bet, my aunt Theresa has experience with sowing so she should be able to make it look good.” Harper responded with a nod before she moved onto a different aisle.

And subsequently bumped into a guy because neither of them were watching where they were going. “Oh sorry, I was miles away.” The guy apologized and Harper held her hands up as if to say, “it’s fine”. “Wait, you’re Harper Mason right?”

”Yeah, that’s me.” Harper responded after letting out a deep breath. ”Why? Are you a fan?”

“Yeah, I’m single………..I mean I’m Steve.” Steve responded as he stammered through his sentence and Harper shared a look with Josh. “Err, I’m going to get going I’ve got my costume for Sunday’s show, good luck against Bobbie.”

”That was random.” Harper commented as Steve paid for his costume and left the store. ”And awkward as hell.”

“No kidding.” Josh commented with a chuckle. “What do you think?”

”I mean, he seemed cute and I have been meaning to get on the dating scene, but he left before I could ask for a number.” Harper shrugged her shoulders before resuming on her way. ”Besides, we’ve got a costume to pick.”

“Yeah, let’s get to that.” Josh nodded in response before they got back to what they were doing.

”Well, this coming Thursday, I’ll officially be able to say that this is Halloween!” Harper commented with a grin. ”And no, that’s not a hint at my Halloween costume for Sunday night’s show! But you know what’s scarier than any Halloween cliché? Any horror movie? Even the thought of Bill Barnhart wearing a speedo, sorry to anyone who’s currently throwing up, well I’ll tell you rather than keep you guessing, how far Bobbie has fallen since I faced her for the first time!

Seriously, how do you go from winning the Roulette Title to losing to Mercedes Vargas on PPV in the span of a year?”

Good question.

”When I called you a one hit wonder Bobbie this is what I meant! It would’ve been one thing if Prudence had submitted to Mercedes because who gives a shit about her these days? But no, it was you, so insult my win-loss record all you want, for one thing it’s actually pretty decent at 10 wins and 11 losses, but you don’t really have a leg to stand on after that!” Harper added as she leaned back in her chair. ”What’s that? You submitted to a leg submission Bobbie? That was exactly my point, Mark may joke about me and Cass skipping stuff that doesn’t involve us but we do watch the matches, and I couldn’t help but shake my head as I watched you tap.

Oh how the mighty have fallen, especially when I wasn’t even on the card!”

”And yeah, it’s possible to rebound, I just rebounded from a losing streak I’ve suffered through since the Blast from the Past Tournament but you’ve failed to rebound from losing the Roulette Title back to Alexandra in the Quarter Finals Bobbie!” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”You had a big shot at changing your fortune in the Queen for a Day Ladder Match, the same one I was in. but we both know who won that instead, I’d say the new Mixed Tag Team and Bombshell Roulette Champ is doing well for herself, pity the same can’t be said for you, you’ve fallen so hard into irrelevancy that you weren’t even in the Proving Ground or Belle of the Brawl tournies, granted, neither was I, but I at least did something people remember in the time since, can you say the same Bobbie?

Don’t answer, we both know that you can’t!”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”Go ahead and try to prove me wrong Bobbie, because my aim to shut you up is in full effect.” Harper said as she leaned back. ”And at the Halloween special your decline will continue when you fail to beat a girl who you once retained the Bombshell Roulette Title against! Because the world needs a new hero and Bobbie? You’ve fallen so far that you can’t even see the limelight anymore, something I’ll prove as “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason!”
