January 3, 2019

Hong Kong, China
Queen Elizabeth Stadium
Gymnastics Olympic tryouts for the Republic of China team 2020

The scene opens up in a room packed with 3,800 in the crowd. They surround an open 30 by 30 open floor gymnastics mat. Among those at attendance is Blasted Monk and his mother Lin Ting Lu. The two wear there black Hangfu robe. They have two of Blasted Monk’s Wushu students trying to make the team. This is the first time students from the dojo have been invited for a tryout.

They watch many of the gymnasts stretches and warm up. Monk turns to his mother.

Blasted Monk: You know, even if they don’t advance to the next round of tryouts. The exposure for the dojo to be looked at as possibles Olympians could generate more future students.

Master Lilly: And just think if one or both can advance to the next round.

Lin Ting Lu says tilting her head looking at her son with a smile.

Blasted Monk: Well, yes, each round puts more light on the dojo.

Master Lilly: The dojo has another way of being in the public's eye to generate more students.

Blasted Monk: Oh?

Lin Ting Lu straightens her body up to sit properly in her seat.

Master Lilly: Yes son, like merging the Legacy and Roulette titles together.

Blasted Monk nods as he agrees with his mother.

Master Lilly: I’m sure you’re looking forward to that.

Blasted Monk: Of course mother, a hardcore style of a match. Something I know very well.I haven’t had a match like this since I lost the Harcore Tag Team title. This is Inception 3, so it will be interesting to see what match types actually make it to the roulette wheel.

Master Lilly: Hmm, this is true my son, interesting indeed.

The gymnasts that are warming up for the preliminary rounds all start leaving the mat as it seems that tonight's event will be starting in a few minutes.

Master Lilly: Looks like it’s starting soon.

Blasted Monk: Yes, and I our students will be among the first group to perform.

Master Lilly: That’s good because I wish not to have to take a cab back to Foshan. The last train to leave Hong Kong to take us back to Foshan is in one hour.

Blasted Monk: No taxi will be a needed mother, if we reason we do not make it to the Train on time we will just Rent-A-Car.

Master Lilly: We are in luck as it looks like our senior student will be the first participant in the tryouts.

Blasted Monk turns to look at the entrance that the gymnast is using to get in and out of the competition floor.

Blasted Monk: each routine is 3 minutes long, our students have been working hard on their routines. He will be setting the bar for the rest of the competition.

Master Lilly: Well the bar has been set high enough already seen what is at stake here. Every one of these competitors would love nothing more than to represent our beautiful nation of China.

Blasted Monk strokes his chin as he nods agreeing with his mother.

Blasted Monk: It looks like the judges are going over some last-minute rules. No matter what happens, however, I am already proud of these two students.

Blasted Monk leans a bit for his chair as if he is trying to get a better view. The student gets to the middle I'm the mat. A whistle sounds alert the competitor to start his routine. The student bows at the judges and then takes a deep breath. Lin Ting Lu and Blasted Monk watch every movement, step by step as the student continues to hit his routine flawlessly.

The routine lasts for a total of 45 seconds before another whistle goes off. The student takes a deep breath and walks towards a corner of the mat. A whistle goes off again to indicate the beginning of his second routine. Student takes Ted steps as he runs towards the center before jumping doing a flipping 360 front flip. As he jumps again in mid-air he turns his body to turn it into a backflip.

Monk Nas as he feels that his students have a great Advantage with the flexibility and balance that they learn every day during there Kung Fu training. After another 45 seconds, the whistle blows yet again to indicate the end of time for the routine. Student takes his final pose as he lands perfectly then bows to the judges yet again.

The 3800 attendance starts clapping for the competitor, out of respect and possibly for the fact that zero mistakes were made during both routines. Lin Ting Lu shows a facial look of extreme approval. She turns and pokes for her son's shoulder to get his attention.

Master Lilly: So what did you think son?

Blasted Monk: I think both sets went very well, every competitor it comes out here tonight it's going to do just as well so the judges will have their hands full. I can understand why it's going to take them a few days to get all of the scores calculated and figure out which 25 out of the 50 competitors today will make it to the second round.

Master Lilly: Well after seeing the routine we just saw it will be hard for our first student not to make it past the first round.

Their student exits the floor area and heads back towards the back as another competitor is seen walking up two the stage so they can start their routine.

Blasted Monk: After a perfect routine like that it will be hard, I do agree with that. However, this would be a great learning experience even if he were not to advance.

Master Lilly: Right, looks like it's time for the second competitor.

The two turn away to face just a gesture of each other as the second competitor begins his routine.

The two of them watch the next 8 competitors before their second student is next to begin his routine. Just like their first student all a competitor's put on a perfect display. However, that is to be expected by almost every competitor that has been invited to tonight's tryouts. The 3800 attendance have been enjoying themselves throughout the entire event.

Blasted Monk: Okay, looks like he's next, he looks a bit nervous I just hope that doesn't interfere with his performance.

Master Lilly: I'm sure it won't, sometimes a bit of pressure is what an individual needs to take it to that next level to outperform the rest of the competition.

Blasted Monk: Like Wrestling.

Master Lilly: Correct son exactly like wrestling. Take Ty West for example.

Blasted Monk: Hold that thought mother, our student is about to begin his routine.

The to go back to focusing on the stage as their second student begins his first 45-second routine. Like the first student, the first routine goes off without a hitch. Lin Ting Lu keeps her excitement to herself as a student takes a quick second to look at them. The student gets ready for the second part of his routine, Blasted Monk leans a bit forward from his chair.

After two successful routines, the student takes a bow to the judges before exiting the mat. Blasted Monk goes back to sitting correctly as he places his back on the back with a chair.

Blasted Monk: Too perfect routines by both of our students, no matter what happens the entire Dojo won't be proud of them. However, mother as you were saying.

Master Lilly: Ty West was given opportunities to be crowned the world champion but have failed. Not even a month later more like the next following week or two, he would find out that he will be going for the roulette title yet again. After filling the first time while Jon Dough was champion, the pressure for Ty West to become Champion was even greater.

A competitor in a match to determine the Roulette Champion, a match in which he won. Given the list of competitors that were in that match, for example, Ben Jordan and yourself son. Just to name a few that he had to go through. The same match you showed everybody that you had what It takes as you would end up any Shinjiro to become the Legacy champion.

I would love to believe that you could have won and would have won the entire match head you started in the same position that Mr. West has started in.

Blasted Monk: it would not have mattered in which position I would have started. One could argue that the better man won that night. If I had to do it all over again I still would have wanted to start the match with Ben Jordan as what I had really wanted was a one-on-one match. The ability to start the match with Ben Jordan did at least allow us to tease the fans a quick 5-minute one-on-one match before other competitors started entering the ring.

Ty was in front of his hometown, it was his night to win as it would make the best Cinderella Story Time moment. Is native hometown would have lost their shits if I would have walked out of there with both titles.

Master Lilly: The hometown hero winning may make for a good story but it doesn't always make the best story. A good example of that son could have been you winning both titles and then everyone hating this “ Foreigner” for walking into the match and dominating to the point where you would walk out with both titles. All that would have happened was it would have created a situation in which all of the fans would want to see Ty, Caleb, Casey, Ben the list can go on and on but with want to see any of them come and challenge you for those titles. Well, maybe not so much better than if we went with the Foreigner angle seeing how Ben is not American but he is loved so I can see how most Americans well overlooked the fact that he is foreign.

Blasted Monk: Mother you say this as if the fans don't love me.

Master Lilly: We all know how this goes son, yes the fans do love you... When you're fighting someone in the ring that they absolutely despise. As soon as you get in the ring with someone that people in the wrestling industry will consider a fan favorite, you sent to be the villain in the match.

Blasted Monk: To beat on his mother I wouldn't want it any other way. I love the flexibility that I have what the crowd. I also like to believe that they loved it as well. They loved knowing that at any given week they can either cheer for me or they can boo me and it doesn't go against my persona, towards my approach in the ring, backstage with the other competitors, or my interaction with the fans outside of the ring. I am allowed to be myself 100% of the time while others, not so much.

Master Lilly: Son, I would love to be inclined into believing what you are saying 100% but the reality of it is that one can also say that when you're able to be yourself 100% of the time compared to somebody who may have to portray a certain persona. You have more of a chance to start getting complacent vs anybody else.

Ty West wants to portray this boy scout goody-goody type of person. I am not saying that that is not who he is outside of the Ring. What I am saying is that when you have a nonchalant approach like you tend to do, complacency is something that will factor in and can play an unfavorable part and your career. If you are not careful this can put significant damage into the career you are trying to build for yourself.

Just think from the very first day you've ever entered the square circle as they call it. You've had a nonchalant approach since day one and wow little by little you have shown a bit more of maturity, you cannot help but continue it doesn't matter approach. You have been successful in your career however your career by now could have been at a whole different level if the nonchalant was more of an act as Ty West boy scout is.

Blasted Monk: That’s just it because this is not an act I am perfectly fine with how my career is going. Me asking for a title shot is never going to happen, sure I might ask to allow myself to get in the ring with certain individuals at particular times in my career. But that is me letting those in charge know that I feel at that particular time between that particular opponent that individual and myself can put on a performance like no other. A performance that the audience deserves to see rather I am being viewed as the villain or the good guy.

Some say winning titles doesn't matter, most to say that are individuals who can't win a title. But even somebody who's nonchalant like me understands how important it is to be a champion even if that Championship reign is not one that is looked at as a memorable long lasting reign. There is just a certain amount of credibility that comes to an individual when they were able to say that they've held this title or that title. Take my upcoming match with Mr. West. Yes, it is two titles that will be merged together, that in itself is a big deal.

However I like to assume that what makes it just a little bit more of a bigger deal is the fact that on top of my current Legacy Championship reign knowing that I am also a two-time hardcore tag team champion a title that is very unique and is industry what bring a little bit more clout until the importance of the two individuals that are in this match. And I am not trying to take anything away from Mr. West because at the end of the day this is also a gentleman who was looked at as the number one Contender for the world heavyweight title. He is currently the Roulette Champion which one can argue is always a number one Contender for that world title. If he wasn't as talented as he is, then the company wouldn't keep putting him and these particular spots as they have been.

The two students send Blasted Monk a text letting him know that they are ready to go.

Blasted Monk: well it looks like we will be catching that last train back to Foshan after all.

Master Lilly: great and looking at the time we should have plenty of time to get a bite to eat first. I figured while we're out of the dojo maybe we can treat the students to some McDonalds?

Blasted Monk: I I think that would be a great idea. I'm sure They loved some greasy fast food, something different than the everyday rice they're used to at the dojo.

The two of them wait for the current competitor to finish the routine before getting up to leave their seats. While the two students are ready to go and waiting for them by the door it will be a sign of disrespect to get up and leave during one of the competitor's performance.

Like everybody else, the two of them start to clap as the current competitor has reached the end of their routine. Could you quietly get up and excuse themselves as they leave their seats passing 7 members in the crowd to get to an aisle to walk towards one of the exit doors. Once there they see their two fellow students, the four take a bow.

Master Lilly: you both did very well today, you both have made the dojo very proud. I'm sure the other students and Masters at the dojo will be looking forward to seeing your tryouts once this airs on TV tomorrow.

If we leave now we'll have enough time to get a bite to eat before the last trade back to the dojo. There is a McDonald's across the street from the train station, we will go there and get a bite to eat first.

the two students show an extreme level of excitement as it is not every day that they are treated 2 junk food. They know this is a rare occasion and appreciate something as small as a Big Mac and some fries.

The train ride back to Foshan, China

Lin Ting Lu had arranged for the four of them to get a private room for the two-and-a-half-hour ride back home. She knew that the two students would be tired and wanted them to relax instead of buying a general ticket to stand in the crowded train like sardines in a can with everybody else. Pay the extra $20 per ticket for the four of them to share a four-person room is well worth it.

About 35 minutes into the train ride monk notices his mom staring out the window. At first, he thinks nothing of it, Intel he starts to pay attention then realizes that she isn't blinking her eyes. Whenever he sees this, he knows she must be having a vision of some sort. He looks at the two students who have knocked out after a long day preparing for their tryouts. Their body's not used to eating fast food probably didn't help them any.

Monk turns back to look at his mother. He watches her for about 2 to 3 minutes before she blinks. She turns and looks at her son with a worried face.

Master Lilly: Song's in trouble. I am sensing that she is planning I'm doing something utterly stupid.

Monks facial expression stays as normal as it always does, he remains silent as he continues to listen to his mother. She continues to speak in a worried voice.

Master Lilly: once we arrived at the dojo, pack a bag we will be taking a helicopter out to the hanger. I believe one of the smaller planes currently is sitting there on standby. Monq gets in contact with the hanger and has them refuel the plane if they haven't already.

Monk  Doesn't say a word to his mother. He immediately takes his phone out of his pocket, he Scrolls through his contacts to get to the number for the hanger. Still, with a come look on his face, he makes the phone call and lets them know that they will be using the play tonight. They inform monk today I just added gas to the plane so it is ready to go when he arrives.

Monk hangs up the phone and places it back in his pocket. She doesn't say a single word to his mother, she as well remains silent. Monk is aware that something is wrong, however, that matter in hand is not something that will be spoken about in front of the students as they can awake at any given moment.

Once the four of them arrived at the dojo monk heads immediately to his room. He grabs a small duffel bag and packs one day worth of needed Essentials. He then uses the bathroom before heading back to the main gate 2 meet up with his mother.

Monk waits for his mother for 20 minutes, she arrives to the main gate have you showered now wearing more modern Street attire has she has on a pair of jeans with a light blue color sweater on. Holding nothing more then her phone she and her son walk out of the dojo and take a path heading towards the back where the helipad is at.

the to get in the helicopter along with the pilot who will be flying them 45 minutes to get to the private Hangar that's owned by the dojo. Once there feel bored what are the smaller private jets that are waiting for them. Normally they will take a bigger jet to Hawaii where they were in stop to get gas however with the smaller jet they will have to land in a small island 100 miles away from Hawaii. So that they can pick up the extra fuel needed to arrive in Los Angeles.

Once they are on board the plane and take off Lin Ting Lu explains the situation.

Master Lilly: Song might be having one of her episodes.

Blasted Monk: How bad is it?

Master Lilly: I I am getting this strong feeling that she is going to try and commit suicide.

Blasted Monk: How much time do you think we have?

Master Lilly: A few hours at most once we land and Los Angeles.

Monk doesn't ask any more questions. His mother doesn't speak another word about it. This is not the first time his mother has Vision such a situation. Each time she had one of these visions we always got to song on time. Only once did his mother not visualized one of her attempts. They were lucky that it was a failed attempt.

Now that monk is aware of the situation, he knows he will be spending some time in Los Angeles with her. Songs troubled past Hunter almost on a nightly basis. She is however usually able 2 maintain her sanity. However, there are times where it gets the better of her if monks mother vision is correct this will be the fourth attempt.

All monk can do now is wait, he knows he has nothing but 15 hours of a plane ride to think how he will address the situation. All he knows is that for the next week and a half he will be on lockdown as he will be staying with some in her house brother she likes it or not.

Knowing what's ahead of him Karma monk uses this time to get some sleep.

To be continued…

Climax Control Archives / Another opponent, another match
« on: November 30, 2018, 11:56:39 PM »

The scene opens with a top overlook View of Lake Tahoe Nevada with Snowy Mountains in the background. The sun is beginning to set in the partly cloudy skies turning the blue sky into a slight reddish color.

Street lights as well as flights from some of the taller buildings help light the city up. The camera switches to a ground view and starts to zoom in on what looks to be a forest area always from the city.

Blasted Monk is seen wearing a Honor Wrestling shirt with black sweatpants and a lit cigar in his hand as he sits on a log that is 7 feet long. A fire pit in the middle with a cooler next to him. Approaching him from behind in a distance is Orchid and Song both wearing a SCW shirt and blue jeans.

Blasted Monk gives it about 3 seconds then lifts his right hand up holding the ciger in the air. Song grabs it and jumps over the log to take a seat next to him. Orchid steps on the log and hops off turning in the air so she can face the two once she lands on her feet.

Orchid: Thanks for taking me up on my offer to eat out. I didn’t mean it so literally.

Song: Well, it’s been a while since we hung out just the three of us. What better way then this you know.

Blasted Monk: Well it’s a nice night out, I got my cigar, Song’s got the burgers going on the firepit.

Orchid: No she doesn’t and I’m hungry.

Blasted Monk: I know Orchid, that was my hint for her to get the burgers going.

Song: Sorry!

Song takes a big hit from the cigar then hands it back to Monk. Song gets up from the log to walk over to the other side of Monk. She opens the cooler and takes out a ziplock bag filled with fresh beef.

Monk takes a hit from his cigar as Orchid goes to to a backpack that was sitting next to the firepit and takes out a white cloth. Orchid places the cloth on top of a huge rock that has a flat enough top to create a workplace for Song to prep the burgers up.

Orchid: So, how do you feel Monk?

Blasted Monk: Feeling great with each passing second.

Orchid: I mean about defending the Legacy Championship for the first time?

Orchid asks as she takes a seat next to Monk, the same spot Song was sitting. Song shows Monk a burger she formed to make sure it’s to his liking.

Blasted Monk: Oh that, it’s cool I guess.

Monk nods at Song to let her know the burger size is perfect. He takes a hit from his cigar as he looks at Song.

Song: You guess?

Song asks as she adds seasoning to the meat. Monk takes another hit from his cigar.

Orchid: Yeah this is a big deal. You get to start your legacy when facing Rory.

Song shows Orchid a patty she just made to make sure Orchid is good with it, Orchid smiles and nods then goes back to looking at Blasted Monk.

Blasted Monk: Really? You sure about that Orchid?

Orchid: Well duh!

Song: Yeah Monk, even a blind man can see that you know.

Blasted Monk: Start my legacy you say?

Orchid: em, yeah?

Song makes her patty as Orchid gets up to reach for the bag. She pulls out a box that has sheets of foil already cut in 11 by 11 in size. Orchid pulls out three sheets, Song takes a few mid size pieces of tree branches and places them evenly on the firepit.

Song then takes the sheets of foil and places them on top of the branches. Song places the burgers on there own sheet. Monk takes another hit of his cigar before handing it to Song.

Blasted Monk: So to you, me being a two time Hardcore Tag Team Champion means nothing?

Song: Nope!

Song yells out loud as Orchid also replies to Monk.

Orchid: I didn’t mean it like that Monk. Forget Song, I meant in SCW not your whole career.

Blasted Monk: I look at it like I look at every match, It’s just a match.

Song: Why? because it’s just Rory? Not cool you know!

Blasted Monk: It doesn’t matter who it is.

Song takes a hit then passes the cigar back to Monk. Monk goes to put it in his mouth but Orchid takes the cigar and taps it on the log to put it out. She places it on top of the cooler.

Orchid: What if it was the handsome man named Ty West?

Blasted Monk: Still won’t matter.

Song: Oh! Well what about if it was Ben Jordan you know

Blasted Monk: That’s different.

Song: How so? Just wondering you know!

Blasted Monk: Because he is someone you all failed to beat.

Song: Hey, I never faced Ben Jordan or I would have beat him up you know!

Blasted Monk: Jon Dough, Eyesnsane and Orchid all lost to him.

Orchid: Hey! I never faced Ben in a match.

Song: Orchid, Ben Jordan and I beat the crap out of you and Max Burke you know!

Orchid: But that don’t count as Ben and I never fought.

Song: The great teamwork between Ben and I is what caused you to not beat him you know!

Orchid: Well Jon Dough and Eyesnsane did it to win the SCW tag team titles.

Blasted Monk gets up from the log, he looks up to the skies as we see it is now clear with millions of stars for the eyes to see.

Blasted Monk: No, a chair won that match for Jon and Eyesnsane. A chair had to be used for the Elders to beat Ben Jordan, and Jamie Dean as it was a tag match but the chair shots was just to Ben. One of us has to be able to beat him clean in the ring. The Legacy title should be on the line as I prefer to defend the title in all my matches.

But other then that it would be just another match just like fighting Rory this Sunday. I prepare for them all the same, I treat all my opponents the same way. My talents is more than enough to beat anyone and everyone. I can’t and have not won them all but that's wrestling for you.

Monk goes over to check the burgers but is stopped by Song.

Song: Hey! I got his you know!

Song gets up, she goes to the firepit, she grabs a pointing ended branch to poke the burgers so she can then flip them over.

Orchid: So you are treating Rory as a threat then.

Blasted Monk: Everyone is a threat, the day you think differently then is the day you need to think of looking for a new line of work. Rory is young and has a long career to go. Rory is just like every wrestler, we all look forward to being the best, we all have one thing stopping us from getting to the top and that is each other. Not the Elders but all wrestlers. Only a few can be on top of the mountain and were all trying to get there.

Song: Burgers will be done in a few minutes you know.

Orchid: Great, I’m hungry. As for you mister, I look forward to seeing Blasted Monk vs Ben Jordan but first. I want to see you beat Rory Rockefeller! Then I want to see you get to Inception to face the dreamy… I mean Ty West!

Orchid turns red which lets Song know she can rib on her a bit.

Song: Someone has a crush on Ty West!

Orchid: Who! Not me!

Orchid says as she tries to lie. Monk chuckles as he goes to the cooler. He grabs the cigar to not drop it as he opens the cooler. He grabs a bottle of water.

Orchid: I want one to please.

Blasted Monk tosses the bottle to Orchid then takes out one for himself. He closes the cooler and places the cigar back on top.

Song: Orchid likes Ty Orchid likes TY! .. hee-hee

Orchid: No I don’t, shut up Song, what are you like 12!

Song: 12? I got your 12… Orchid and Ty, sitting on a tree, k.i.s.s.i.n.g!

Monk shakes his head at Song who is working Orchid’s nerve. Orchid grabs the cigar and throws it at Song.

Orchid: Here, shut up and smoke.

Song: Okay Don’t have to tell me twice you know.

Blasted Monk: I will get to Inception to take on Orchid’s boyfriend.

Monk says as he winks at Song who starts choking as she smokes.

Orchid: You shut up to! In fact, if you get there then prepare for Ty to beat your butt!

Blasted Monk: If he can make it. I mean, as long as he doesn’t have a title match between then he will make it for sure. I however plan on putting my title on the line every week I can. Only I know I will be at Inception as the Legacy Champion. Rory is not going to stop me, Ben is not going to stop me, I will be the one that will merge the Legacy and Roulette titles. Till then I will take it one week at a time and will focus on Rory for now.

Song gets up and hands Monk the cigar, she then goes to check the burgers. Song sees that they are done. She remove them from the foil. Orchid takes out the buns from the cooler and makes herself a burger.

Song and Blasted Monk step away so that they can finish there smoke without blowing it all over Orchid as she eats her burger. The two enjoy the cigar as they start to go over a game plan for Monk’s match.

Supercard Archives / EIGHT MAN WARRIOR'S BRAWL
« on: November 04, 2018, 12:00:10 AM »
 Coast off Hawaii
Nov. 1st 2018

Scene opens with a view of the clear sky, a few birds flying over head. We hear chatter of many people and also hear fireworks in the background. With the sky so bright it makes it hard to see the effects of the fireworks but the camera does pick up some of it.

We see a right hand appear on the right side of the screen holding a drink. The cup gets places on the table blocking the camera’s. A left hand appears on the left side to remove the cup from the camera’s view.

A few seconds go by before the camera’s view gets blocked by a pale skin flat belly of a lady wearing a two piece bikini. We see her hands as she bends down getting closer to the camera. She picks up the camera and faces the lens to her face.

We see the person holding the camera is none other than Orchid. Along with the ocean in the background behind her. We see others in the background walking by while dozens of dozens are seen looking up in the air to watch the fireworks.

Orchid: I said to record the fireworks, you had one job.

Orchid tells Blasted Monk as she turns the lens and aims the camera at him. We see Blasted Monk sitting on a beach chair, shirtless with black beach shorts.

Blasted Monk: I had the camera facing up to get the fireworks. Working smarter not harder.

Orchid: I guess, I hope you get it all.

Blasted Monk: Yes, I did, well best I could, it’s still daylight after all.

Orchid: I guess, well they are done now so I’ll save the battery on this camera.

Orchid turns off her camera then puts it back on the small table. Orchid then turns to her right.

Orchid: So Master Lilly, you enjoy yourself, I rarely ever see you drink. This is like your fourth drink.

Lin Ting Lu: I am enjoying myself just fine Orchid. This is just Iced Tea, I had one drink then Ice tea, had another drink and now back to Ice Tea again. Would you like a drink, you should be relaxing and enjoying our time here in Hawaii.

Orchid: I want to but someone needs to be on top of things. I mean, you been relaxing dealing with upper management of wrestling, Song can’t work for SCW anymore so she is looking for a new home. Jon Dough is back but his new boss has yet to book him in a match. Blasted Monk returns and lets everyone know that he wants a match with Ben Jordan, not the Roulette Champion Ben Jordan. He wants to wrestle Ben Jordan, The Elders most respected and friendly enemy.

Blasted Monk: You mean, friendly rival.

Orchid turns to her left to look at Blasted Monk.

Orchid: No I didn’t, the way I said it sounds better mister. On top of that, I have been making sure everyone is where they need to be. I’m even helping Song find a new place to wrestle for.

Lin Ting Lu: Well, it sounds like your doing my job just fine.

Orchid turns to her left again to look at Lin Ting Lu

Orchid: Yeah, I was hoping to get in the ring myself Master Lilly.

Lin Ting Lu: You always wanted to do my side of things.

Orchid: You but I do Master, but right now, I have been looking to get in the ring. I still need to learn a lot from you.

Lin Ting Lu: You are doing just fine so far.

Orchid: Well, I didn’t get Blasted Monk his one on one match with Ben Jordan.

Lin Ting Lu: Nor did I, I was in the ring the whole time. Broke Saxon had other ideas, things like that happens all the time. I think she was spot on, with the match she chose to book. Many men deserve a shot at the title. Blasted Monk just wants to wrestle the man currently behind the title, the title didn't have to be on the line. But Orchid, this is the biggest show SCW does in the year. No way would Mr. Ward and Mr. Underwood allow Broke Saxon to book Ben Jordan in a non title match.

Orchid turns to look at Blasted Monk as he looks to want to say something.

Blasted Monk: Oh, no, don’t get me wrong. I am fine taking on Ben Jordan for the Roulette title. But that is not why I want to fight Ben, I just want to get in the ring with him as I heard nothing but good things about Ben Jordan and his ring style. I mean, he has been in the ring with Eyesnsane, Jon Dough. He teamed with Song in a blast tournament and went opposite of Orchid that year. Not many Elders left for him to get in the ring with outside of me and the other two but right now we re focused on me.

Orchid: No, Master Lilly and I were talking about me now, not you.

Blasted Monk: Okay don't mind me then.

Blasted Monk gets a pair of sunglasses from his pocket and puts them on as he places his hands behind his head to how is plans on sitting back and relax. Orchid goes back to look at Lin Ting Lu.

Orchid: See Master Lilly, your son is relaxing so I can’t, someone has to be on the ball Master.

Master Lilly: Look, my son has been around long enough. He has seen Casey fight for many years. He has seen Casey retire from the ring and seen him return making the retirement mean nothing.

Blasted Monk: Just like his wrestling career, a list of nothing, okay a handful of titles and not holding any for a respectable length of time. Other then that his career is just Meh at best.

Orchid: Hey now, be nice Blasted Monk.

Master Lilly: He has seen plenty of Kader Hasheem, Caleb Storms and Shinjiro Yamamoto as the three have worked for Honor Wrestling.

Blasted Monk: Kader has the look but other then that. Nothing and I mean nothing can be said about him. I wish I can make a joke but I can’t, he hasn’t done anything yet. As for Shinjiro, the talent is there but he just got back, he lost the Legacy Title to a joke in Travis. I beat Travis like the joke he is and he gets injured to the point that when we had our nest match he wasn’t cleared so was stripped from the Legacy Title. I refuse to be handed the title so I forced a Warriors Brawl match for it. Equinox came out the winner while Kader was the 1st one taken out that match like he will this match. Shinjiro then comes back and found himself right were he left off as the Legacy Campion. He is a great wrestler but while he was at home doing god knows what, I was making Latoya Hixx a household name with her as my teammate and helped her become a two time Hardcore Tag Team Champion.

Orchid: Not nice about Kader  thank you for speaking kindly of Shinjiro as I like him, he is cool! As for Caleb, you said nothing.

Blasted Monk: What’s to say? He is a rookie who just wants to hold a title. He doesn’t care which one, he think that as long as your a champion then you are important. But it’s Caleb, title or not he will never be important. Like his Roulette title run. You know he was the champion at one point right.

Orchid: Yes, I was there.

Blasted Monk: During that time, what did he do to look or seem important?

Orchid: He didn’t hold the title long enough to do anything important.

Blasted Monk: Because he doesn’t want to, he doesn’t want to do anything that paints a bullseye on his back as he would rather just be a champion and nothing else. At least Casey, Ben and a few others would be fighting champions. Caleb just wants to be a champion. That’s a big difference and part of why he will never be of importance.

And before you say anything Orchid, Joshua Acquin is just like Caleb only he is not a rookie. He somehow turned into what Caleb is now over the years. Jon and Eyesnsane have beaten him at every turn. Tag team or singles matches, Joshua has com short every single time. Joshua has the talent to do it but is to lazy, he comes for a paycheck and moves on. It sucks but I can respect that as I least I know what he is about.

Master Lilly: You forgot about Ty West.

Blasted Monk: No I didn't but I soon will be. He is one more loss from “retiring” The bosses want him around. They want him around so much that he gets more title shots then that person Effie was talking about when she went on twitter to tweet about how someone loses a title match, then gets in a tournament for the title shot.

Effie made that a big deal yet no one has heard Effie say the same thing about Ty West and his bookings. Only it’s worse Dani at least was winning matches and won the tournament to face and beat the Bombshell Champion. Ty lost when going to the Roulette title so bad that he wanted no part of the title while Jon Dough was champion.

Jon then steps away so that crybaby Ty can go for the title, he lost. They put him in the same tournament they put Dani and Effie said nothing. Ty losses and right away he gets put in another title match and again Effie says nothing about that. Funny how that mouth piece has nothing to say, all while Ty talks about retiring. That is the cheapest way to get the owners to book him in high profile matches. Even if he wins the title, he lost the respect from most in this business and if he wins how would the bosses explain that to anyone wanting to join SCW that are watching the company with a fine comb to see if it’s worth joining. See Orchid, it’s not just about the paychecks or fans, it's how the bosses treat everyone not how they go about babying one person who has threatened to leave or retire just because they keep losing.

Blasted Monk starts to chuckle a bit.

Orchid: What’s so funny?

Blasted Monk: I find it funny that they can run their mouth how they do but are quick to leave when they lose. Effie lost a few matches and left and Ty who wants to stay but can’t win is now talking about leaving, for what, to buy him some victoires? Yet he had the nerve to call others a joke or a clown. Go figure.

Orchid: Your not being very nice right now Blasted Monk.

Orchid says as she crosses her arms on her chest giving Monk a mean look.

Blasted Monk: Mean? Let me ask you this Orchid. Am I wrong about anything I said? What part is not correct?

Orchid: You are 100% right but you don’t have to be so mean about it.

Blasted Monk: Don't worry, if I lose I promise not to throw out a fake retirement speech as a way to get the bosses to keep putting me in title matches. If I win I will be a fighting champion, if I lose I move on. That alone makes me better than half of the opponents in the ring.

Orchid: Okay, I need to leave. Your being mean, and Master Lilly is right, I need to relax. This stress of making sure everyone is taken care of is a lot of work. I never realized just how much work your mom puts until us. I only been doing this for a few weeks and Master Lilly has been doing this for years. I don’t know how long I can do this without a little relaxing time.

Master Lilly: So go, relax, if Monk needs anything I can handle it.

Blasted Monk: Hey, wait, you guys hungry?

Orchid: I’m always hungry.

Master Lilly: No, I’m fine. But if your both hungry then go eat, I can use time alone.

Blasted Monk gets up from his chair. He grabs his plain white t shirt that was between his back and the chair to put it on. Orchid grabs a beach towel to wrap her body around to cover it as best as possible. The two head out towards the tiki huts on the other side of the beach.

They take a sit at the bar to order food.

Orchid: So we eating here or going back to Master Lilly?

Blasted Monk: Right here. She is fine being alone. Plus I'd rather eat here then go back and take a chance of sand getting on our food.

Orchid: Yeah, you’re right.

Bartender: What would you guys like to drink?

Orchid: Can we order food here as well?

Bartender: Yes of course.

Orchid: Two beers, one rum and coke, 20 BBQ wings, 15 buffalo wings, 5 regular wings, the biggest bucket of cheese fries you have. Those green things you hand out with wings and ranch sauce please.

Bartender: You mean celery?

Orchid: JA!!! That means yes.

Bartender: Yes, it means yes in many places, like my home country of the Whales.

Orchid: Oh??? Hoi!

The bartender smiles as Orchid says hi in Dutch.

Blasted Monk: Wrong country Orchid.

Orchid: No it’s not, its all the same over there.

Bartender It’s not all the same but I understand what you said. But to say we are all the same would be like me saying all Asians are all the same. [/COLOR]

Orchid: Most people do say that all Asians are the same.

The bartender and Blasted Monk can’t help but laugh as Orchid does have a point.

Orchid: Well it’s true!

Bartender: We know, it was just funny how you said it.

Orchid: Oh.

Bartender: Okay so I have two beers, one rum and coke, 40 wings, 20 BBQ, 5 reg, 15 Buffalo, and a bucket of cheese fries.

Orchid: And the green stuff please!

Blasted Monk: Orchid, those come with the wings.

Bartender: He is right but I will make them bring you guys an extra order of them.

Orchid: Awesome Sauce... You're the bestest!!!

The bartender smiles then turns away to head to the grill to pace the food order. Blasted Monk pushes Orchid off the stool.

Orchid: Not Cool!

Orchid goes back to her stool as the bartender returns.

Bartender: Did you want those drinks right now?

Orchid: One beer right now and the rum and coke please.

Bartender: Okay, coming up.

The bartender turns around, Orchid pushes Blasted Monk off his stool. Monk hits the stool next to him causing the person in that stool to spill their drink all over the food of the person next to him.

Blasted Monk gets to his feet. as the man with the spilled drink and the women with the ruined meal look at Monk not happy.

Blasted Monk: I’m so sorry about that, I um, …

Monk looks at Orchid in the corner of his eyes as she just laughs at him. Monk goes back to look at the couple.

Blasted Monk: I slipped, I’m sorry, let me take care of things.

The bartender returns to see the mess as he hands Orchid the drinks.

Bartender: Let me get a towel to clean that up.

The bartender grabs a towel from under the bar and places on the bar to clean up the mess. Orchid hands the bartender a 100 dollar bill.

Orchid: Here take this, this should cover the food and drinks they are having.

The couple thank Orchid.

Orchid: It’s okay, that should by you guys a few more drinks as well so his way of saying sorry, right Mr. Monk!

Orchid says to Blasted Monk trying to hold back her smile

Blasted Monk: Yes, again really sorry about that.

Blasted Monk takes a seat on the stool then looks at Orchid.

Blasted Monk: So not cool Orchid.

Orchid: Mess with the Orchid one and you get it back and some.

Blasted Monk: I’d say, I was only playing.

Orchid: So was I, not my fault you fall off like a ragdoll, step up your kung fu game mister!

Blasted Monk: Whatever Orchid.

The bartender returns with a new drink and burger for the couple. He heads back to the grill to get Orchid’s order after.

Orchid: Back to business, you getting ready for this Warriors Brawl match?

Blasted Monk: How can one not get ready, for a match like that. The eight of us are all preparing for this battle. We are all getting ready for many reasons. For Ben, it’s about retaining the title, beating seven men in one match, only proving his point he was making last week.

The bartender returns with the food. Orchid listens to Blasted Monkas she starts munching on BBQ wings. Monk takes a drink from his beer for the first time. He turns to Orchid who has two wings stuff in her mouth. Orchid looks at him and waves for him to keep talking.

Blasted Monk: As for Ty West, who knows, so that he doesn't retire? Hopefully it’s to finally win a title. The truth is, he is a good wrestler, I take that back, for a rookie, he is a great wrestler. He is ahead of most rookies, the issue with Ty West is that he just doesn’t realize that.

Caleb just wants to be a champion of any kind. He just wants to win so he can walk around the locker room with a title. He reminds me of that school kid who thinks there cool because they wear a patrol belt.

Blasted Monk takes another swig of his beer. Orchid now done with the 20 BBQ wings takes a sip of her rum and coke.

Orchid: You can keep going, I'm listening.

Blasted Monk: I’m hungry to.

Orchid looks at the bartender.

Orchid: Hey, make you bring 50 wings, 25 BBQ and 25 Buffalo?

The bartender nods and makes the order. Orchid turns to look at Blasted Monk.

Orchid: You were saying?

Orchid says as she starts to munch on some cheese fries. Blasted Monk starts to speak again.

Blasted Monk: Joshua and Casey have losing streaks that they need to turn around, more Casey then Joshua but Joshua returns to SCW hot and gets cold after his debut matches. It may be tie for Joshua to go away for a few weeks and comeback hot like he does.

Kader,  ha, I can’t even keep a straight face when his name comes up. I’m shocked he even showed up to SCW.

Then we have Shinjiro Yamamoto, this guy can win it all. I faced him before, great wrestler. But he is not better then me or the other six in the match to be honest. The talent is there for everyone in this match. The mentally on the other hand, well that's a different story.

The bartender returns to Orchid and Blasted Monk with two buckets of wings.

Orchid: Thank you.

The bartender smiles and heads across the bar.

Orchid: Okay, go ahead.

Blasted Monk: Like Ben, Shinjiro comes until this match as a champion. He just beat Caleb in his debut match. He will be one that everyone will watch out for. He like Ben have the biggest bullseye.

As for me, I understand all of this. I know that I don’t have to beat all seven men, I just need to defeat the one that makes it to the final two with me. Everything else means nothing. It is all about not losing, make it to the end to take out wrestler number 7, whoever that may be.

Orchid: What else?

Blasted Monk: What else nothing Orchid, I see you eyeing my wings, back off, I’m hungry.

Blasted Monk takes a swig of his beer, the bartender returns with the second beer Orchid had ordered in the beginning for Monk. Monk grabs a wing as Orchid can’t help herself and steals a few of his. The two laugh about it as the camera zooms out and fades to black.
