 RP Title: “Golden opportunity.”

Steve put up a hell of a fight but in the end, he was defeated by J2H but Summer XXXTreme was just two weeks away and with it came a hell of an opportunity to turn his fortunes around as he was one of six men competing in the Golden Briefcase match! What did that mean? If he won the match he would gain the opportunity to cash in for a title shot at any point over the next 365 days, as for his opponents? Damien Payne, Jeremiah Hardin, Joshua Acquin, Xander Bishop and Matt Spears, Steve was facing some tough competition but would this be the night he finally won a match for the first time since Blaze of Glory?

Happy 4th of July people!

Okay, okay, I know it’s not the fourth of July until next week, June isn’t even over yet, but next week is also the week we’re spending on the cruise and you try bringing BBQ equipment on a Cruise Ship!

So yeah, we’re having a 4th of July BBQ a week early! Andreas is working the grill, Kaylee is making sure that we have plenty of drinks and Cyrus is playing all American metal music! Can it get any better than this?

I can think of one way.

Let’s face it, my luck has been terrible since Blaze of Glory and that’s because my opponents keep rubbing me of what should be easy victories! But in two weeks at Summer XXXTreme I have a chance to change all that as I am one of five men competing in the Golden Briefcase Match which is also serving as the opening match of this year’s event! My opponents? Xander Bishop, Damien Payne, Jeremiah Hardin, Joshua Acquin and Matt Spears!

In other words, I’m the only guy who’s done anything of note in this match! This match is in the bag!

I’ll go into more detail later but yeah, since the 4th of July is falling on the week of the Summer XXXTreme Cruise (something that I didn’t even realize until someone mentioned it on Twitter) we’re having our fourth of July BBQ a week early in Kaylee’s backyard and in the spirit of patriotism Kaylee’s wearing a USA flag themed Bikini Top and denim shorts, mostly because it’s really fucking hot today!

“I can’t help but find it ironic that we’re celebrating the fourth of July in a Canadian Woman’s house.” Cyrus commented as he sat down next to me and Kaylee and handed us drinks, Andreas had brought the meat from his farm for the occasion so we were going to be eating some top-notch stuff tonight! “And I’m not getting into the fact that we have a Swedish Man working the grill!”

“Well I would be celebrating it at Charlotte’s house but she’s had that restraining order out on me ever since my unsuccessful attempt to take the kids away from her even though she had been cheating on me longer than I had been cheating on her and sired Marcus with another man.” I responded with a frown before I took a sip from my drink. “At least we found out that she had been screwing her Yoga Instructor in the end.”

“Yeah and you punched him in the jaw which probably didn’t help your court case.” Kaylee pointed out and I shook my head in response. “Still can’t believe that she convinced him to not press charges to make it look like you attacked him unprovoked in court.”

“Unprovoked my ass, that guy was lucky that that was all I did to his home wrecking face of his!” I grunted in response as I folded my arms. “The fact that he didn’t end up being Marcus’s dad did not help! At least I can focus on Summer XXXTreme this week and next week.”

“And we’re just going to ignore the fact that it’ll be the one year anniversary of my SC debut?” Kaylee asked and I grinned before kissing her. “I’ll take that as a no.” Kaylee added after I broke the kiss. “Besides, once the cameras stop rolling you can take down this flag and we can have some fun in the bedroom.”

“Or leave the camera running and sell it to PornHub.” Cyrus offered and I grinned liking that idea. “Obviously we’ll use a different camera but still, speaking of cameras, what’s this I hear about SCW banning Pokémon Go at this year’s event?”

“I’m pretty sure they banned that game from all Supercards after last year’s event.” I pointed out with a shrug before Andreas brought some burgers over and we took one each. “Doesn’t matter to me since I stopped playing after they removed the original tracker.”

“You mean the tracker that only worked during the launch week and since then has been replaced with a better, more accurate tracker?” Kaylee asked and I shook my head, she had mentioned that a few times since I stopped playing but it was too little too late as far as I was concerned, anyway we ate the burgers which were Pork and Apple burgers and they were good, once we were finished we took the plates into the kitchen and sat back down. “I don’t usually have this much meat in my mouth unless I’m going my day job!”

“Part of me was waiting for that joke.” I commented with a chuckle before checking the time on my IPhone. “Hey Andreas, how long until the steaks are cooked?”

“I just put them on the grill, shouldn’t take more than half an hour at the most.” Andreas responded as he looked up briefly from the grill. “Just to be sure, Steve, you want it Medium Rare, Kaylee wants in Medium Rare and Cyrus wants it Medium, right?”

“That’s right.” I nodded in response and Andreas returned his attention to the grill. “Guys I’m heading into the house to do my promo, let me know when the steaks are done.”

“Will do.” Kaylee responded before leaning in to whisper in my ear. “And after dinner I’ll invite you upstairs for desert!” Kaylee added and I grinned knowing what she meant, it was a line from one of her pornos for fuck’s sake, anyway I went into the house and sat down in the kitchen as I got ready to do my promo.

“Summer XXXTreme is two weeks away and I am going to use this year’s opening match to bounce back in the best way possible.” I said before holding up my hand with all my fingers outstretched and my other with only the middle finger outstretched. “Six men including me in a battle royal to determine the holder of the Golden Briefcase and the holder of that briefcase gets to have a title shot at any point in the next 365 days at any time he wants!” I added before lowering my fingers until only the middle finger was left. “But one by one Matt Spears, Joshua Acquin, Jeremiah Hardin, Damien Payne and Xander Bishop will fall and I will gain the Golden Briefcase!”

May as well get the losers out of the way.

“Why are Xander Bishop and Damien Payne in this match? Damien has barely been in the company for a month and Xander? The last time he had a remote chance of holding a title he got his ankle broken by Nicolas Blair! I’d almost say that they were added to the match because their match at last week’s Climax Control got cancelled except for the fact that that match was meant to build up this one! But in the end, they won’t matter because they will be the first ones out, it doesn’t matter if it’s by my hand or someone else’s hand!”

And now onto the opponents that matter, starting with Matt!

“Matt Spears is only slightly more qualified than the last two idiots and that’s only because he’s actually competed for a title in the past, has he won any titles? NO! Again, it’s clear that Matt is only in this match to boost up the numbers because a three-man Battle Royal would just be redundant and over way to quickly and when I eliminate you Matt it’ll be just like that, over way to quickly! At least for you that is because I have bigger fish to fry!”

Like Jeremiah Hardin!

“If you had told me two years ago that Jeremiah Hardin would be a future world champion my first question would be “who?” followed by laughing in your face until I realized that you were serious and then started laughing even harder! In a way, it’s fitting that your reign only lasted a few weeks Hardin but it doesn’t take a genius to realize that you want a chance to bounce back from your short title reign and that this is probably your only chance, unfortunately I need this opportunity more than you so you can forget it!”

Finally, is Joshua!

“It seems that I can’t escape the walking epitome of boredom that is Joshua Acquin because here we are yet again on opposite sides of the ring! And what do you know? There’s a title opportunity waiting for us in that briefcase once we clear the trash out of the ring! Well unfortunately for you Josh there’s one more piece of trash that has been stinking up the joint something fierce that I need to clean up and his name is Joshua Acquin! You are the last one standing between me and that briefcase and I’m not letting you stop me from winning it!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up because I heard Andreas call my name to say that the steaks were almost done!

“Let’s have a look at the opportunities, shall we? I could interfere in the Roulette Title Match once everyone’s tired and cash in my briefcase! Hell, if I really wanted too I could do the same for the Main Event and get some revenge on Hunty in the progress! This is a golden opportunity for me and I’m not letting Damien Payne, Xander Bishop, Matt Spears, Jeremiah Hardin or Joshua Acquin stop me in this match! The heat is on boys but the question is, can you take the heat! This message has been paid for and delivered by “The Fearless Champion” Steve Ramone, the champion the fans deserve!”

I went back into the garden as the scene fades.

2012…Somewhere in Iraq

Scene opens up with Matt Spears talking to two other US Marines and a 1st Sgt. from the Canadian Army Special Forces. The four in the sandstorm cameos standing in a circle as they look on a device scream. They get live footage of the location they will be going to.

They were sent on a search and rescue mission as the Canadian Ambassador has been kidnapped by a small terrorist group. The 1st Sgt gives the three US Marines there instructions as the begin to sneak their way closer to the small 2 story building that looks to be guarded by at least 20 of the of there small group. The four men wait to 11:00 pm to make their move.  

10:15 pm

The four reach there start point and scout the area to make sure the path chosen is still the safest route in and out. They wait it out as they get their final checklist in order. 11:00 pm.  208 yards away, a lone sniper is almost buried completely in the sand, it seems as though we are looking at a barely alive bush on a sandy mound as Matt can be seen clearly in the sights of the sniper who has not yet taken a shot.  One must understand terrain in an open desert there is not a lot, if any cover.  One must improvise in order to carry out a mission.  What none of the soldiers realize is that more parties have an interest in what’s going on in Iraq than just the normal parties that be.


2311 Zulu time….

A man named Eyesnsane has been sent on a mission by his retainer.  A well known terrorist group has been trafficking women and children for money to fund their operations.  Eyesnsane has assessed the entire area as he has been in the exact same spot for the past 56 hours.  Realizing an infiltration is occurring, he has decided to wait longer for a moment of opportunity as his essential target has not yet come into focus.  He could always spot an imposter or somebody who did not belong, he seemed to have an eye for it.  â€œForty seven”, he says outloud to himself on his perch atop a sand dune just far enough outside the compound to give him a head start if you will.  All he knew was that he could drop twelve bodies before having to ditch his hiding spot.  Other than two words he remains silent, watching….

Matt and the three men go room to room clearing each out while they look for the Ambassador. Matt reaches a door that leads to a basement. As bullets fly from the basement Matt throws a flashbang.  The other three men rushes down the stairs as Matt follows behind. They clear the room.

The 1st Sgt finds the Ambassador tied to a wooden chair legs ducked taped to the legs of the chair and his hands tied with rope behind the back of the chair. Matt cuts the rope and duct tape. They quickly get him upstairs and try to get him out the building.

A loud bang is heard from the outside in distance the men stay inside for a bit…


Seeing two trucks approaching the compound, Eyesnsane sees a moment of opportunity to get his target to stir.  As the trucks get within a certain proximity of the gate to the compound Eyesnsane fires a single shot through the front wheel that happens to slightly pierce the gas tank of the truck.  There’s a loud pop from from the tire blowing out.  Eyesnsane turns his attention back to the sandstone compound looking to have been built haphazardly at best.  As the people begin to scramble about he quickly sets his sights back on the rescue of a hostage. “Let’s see everybody move..”  he almost says in an exhale of breath.  I saw a light come on in a building toward the northwest of the compound and Eyesnsane quickly sets his sights on the window.  Against the light he can only see shadow on the wall, two then three.. Waiting just a few moments he sees a girl holding clothing to herself pushed from around the corner of the building quickly.  Then after a moment a man grabs her and shoves her toward an suv.  Three other guys come out and you can just barely make out the person in the middle.

Once the girl is hived into the vehicle, she tries to fight and receives a smack from the first guy holding her and at that moment, Eyesnsane fires the first shot, the guy closest to Eyesnsane falls to the ground, as the next shot drops the man they were protecting.  The next shot hits the man struggling with the girl in the door of the suv. Then he turned his attention back to the truck where three bullets to a gas tank was enough to ignite a fire and then explosion

Matt watches from a window, The 1st Sgt opens the door as Matt covers them from the window. They see the ares is clear. Matt Makes his way out as the sneak out the path they came in from ,

We see Matt Spears wearing a black polo with sand color dress pants while Eyesnsane is seen wearing a Chicago Black Sox shirt with matching hat and blue jeans as they sit on one side of a square table with Master Wong and Wong Fai Hung both wearing black Hanfu robes while Jinjing, and the one known as Ninja are seen in full cover ninja suit. They listen on to the event that took place years ago.


Master Wong: So you were able to get the ambassador out safely.

Matt Spears: Well yes, but you already know that. You clearly had Eyesnsane there. We never did figure out what happened and his story makes sense with what took place.

Matt watches Master Wong nod as he then turns to Wong Fai Hung. Master Wong nods at the door. Wong Fai Hung nods at his father as he and Ninja get up. Jinjing does the same but Master Wong asks her to sit. Jinjing sits and Wong Fai Hung and Ninja leave the room and close the door behind them.

Jinjing tilts her head a bit before speaking as we can only see her eyes, she makes eye contact with Matt Spears.

Jinjing: You rescued the Ambassador, however he was found dead 2 weeks later.

Matt looks on shocked as this is news to him. He leans in his chair a bit. He looks at Jinjing but quickly turns to look at Master Wong as he felt Jinjing was looking at him in like she wanted to kill him.  

Matt Spears: So you know more about this then I do, what does a Dojo from China have to do with this?

Master Wong looks at Eyesnsane for a split second before focusing his attention on Matt Spears.

Master Wong: We were paid to get the Ambassador out.

Matt Spears: By who?

Master Wong: That is not important.  

Eyesnsane leans in a bit as Jinjing tilts her head to look at Eyesnsane. Eyesnsane turns to look at her.

Eyesnsane: What’s up girl?

Jinjing gets up and jumps on the table grabbing Eyesnsane throat in the process. Eyesnsane gets up from his seat.

Master Wong; Jinjing, let him go and take a seat.

Jinjing lets go as Eyesnsane smirks.

Eyesnsane: Your not as fast as you used to be.

Jinjing quickly lowers herself and spins around on top the table trying to leg sweep Eyesnsane in the chest. He backs away as Master Wong slams his hand on the table.

Master Wong: Jinjing!

Jinjing gets off the table as she look at Master Wong.

Master Wong: We all know you can kill him but right now is not the time for you two to be playing around

Jinjing and Eyesnsane take their seats. Eyesnsane looks at Matt Spears then at Master Wong.

Eyesnsane: What’s important then?  Is what I believe Matt is wanting to ask,  Master.

Master Wong: I’m not sure Matt, but that is what I have been trying to find out.

Matt Spears: Well, what do you think it can be?

Master Wong: It’s been years and yet I still have problems with a few jobs, this being one of them. The events that took place in your eyes don’t really help, for now, but it's good to get a better picture on what took place inside the compound.

A few hours later

On Camera


We see Matt Spears in a empty training room, fairly lit as the two doors that slide open, are seen open allowing the sun to light the room up. He practices Wing Chun with a wooden Wing Chun dummy. Wearing only a pair of jean shorts.


Matt Spears: I’m sure I’m the underdog this match. Most laughed when they saw I was booked in the Golden Briefcase Battle Royal. They can laugh all they want, they can look at me as someone who is a non factor. Now I win this battle Royal, what would they say about you for thinking such way about me?

Matt continues to punch at the Wing Chun dummy

Matt Spears: Damian Payne, Joshua Acquin, Xander Bishop, Steve Ramone, Jeremiah Hardin. 5 men who all want the briefcase so they can cash in at any given moment to try to become the World Champion. For me I just want to win the match for the sake of winning the match. The briefcase itself it whatever to me, a bonus if you will.

Don’t get me wrong, would I use it? Sure, but at the end of the day I don’t need it. You see I don’t need to go for a title to feel important, I don’t need need to be seen on tv every chance you can.

Matt stops to look at the camera

Matt Spears: It’s never been about you fans cheering for me or booing for me. What you decide is up to you. All I ever wanted is for you all to see that Matt Spears is booked for a match and then say. “Matt Spears has a match, here take my money as I know it will be worth it.”

You see everyone I sit back in the locker room area....

Jon Dough: You mean I sit back in the locker room.

Matt turns away from the camera as he talks to himself for a second. Matt then walks over to a long bench that connects to the wall.

Matt Spears: I sit back in the locker room and hear other complain, it can be about how they're booked, how they feel about a match, the lack of air time, etc etc. The bosses in SCW rather they would admit it, I have never sat down with them, I never bitched about how I’m booked.

Truth is if anyone can say anything it is me for the lack of bookings, but I don’t. You see I can never go to them about such a thing because if I see the bigger picture. Is it a Golden Briefcase? Well, right now it could be. Is it a title of any kind? Who knows. But one things for sure, the bigger picture is that I get to work for SCW. I think some have forgotten that. I think they forgot the hard work it takes to reach SCW.

For every 10 new wrestlers rather there men or women, only 2 maybe 3 will survive what is the first few matches they receive in SCW. What happens to the other 7 or 8? Simple they run back to where they came from. They realize they need to brush up on there in ring skills before stepping foot inside the 6 sided ring that makes SCW.

So you guys who want to sit here and laugh or look at Matt Spears as a joke then remember what I said. Not many survive here in SCW, yet like you 5 I’m still here. I been here, quite, waiting for my time. Is my time now? Could be, I mean look at the match in front of me, look at what it means to win. The one thing I want before the briefcase in itself.    

One thing is for sure, no matter who wins this match the rest will bitch and moan while I sit back and just wait to get booked again.

For now however, a battle royal is what I need to train for. I sure as hell plan on getting the last laugh when you 5 are outside the ring while I stand victories in the ring. You all soon next week.


Matt gets up and walks over to the Wing Chun dummy, he begins to practice again.


Matt Spears: Now that I got that out the way. Damian Payne, Joshua Acquin, Xander Bishop, Steve Ramone, and Jeremiah Hardin, make no mistake about, I plan on going out there and tossing all 5 of you out myself if I have to. This is mine for the taking, The fans will be shocked, stunned, whatever but this is it.

Matt goes from punch techniques to kicking

Matt Spears: They say change is coming, what better way then for Matt Spears to win the briefcase, A man who just sits back and waits. The man who for better or for worse is just proud to know he has what it takes to even be in SCW.

Matt stops as he turns to look at the camera again

Matt Spears: You see after my one year deal was up, there was no wait. Mr. Ward and Mr. Underwood had no issues with giving me a new deal. I more more then happy to sign. I am now given the opportunity to make them proud, show that resigning me was not just a good idea but also worth the deal.

I have no hype up, I have no momentum coming into this match. You know what I have? I have that old school pep talk you never get anymore.

I have been given the chance to make something happen. It is all up to me to make it happen now. Which is why if I have to toss 5 men out myself then I will do just that.

Matt starts punching at the Wing Chun dummy again

Matt Spears: Maybe all of this is for that reason, it’s clear change is upon us, I get resigned, I now get booked in a Golden Briefcase Battle Royal. It’s like the bosses are telling me… “Here you go kid, you sat here and waited and a true trooper for the company.

Matt nods a bit, He then makes a loud noise that echoes around the empty room as he lets out one clap with his hands.

Matt Spears: WOOOO!!!!

Matt says with excitement


Matt Spears; Okay, I got this, I see it plain and clear. Damian Payne, Joshua Acquin, Xander Bishop, Steve Ramone, and Jeremiah Hardin this is not the Matt Spears you have seen. Clearly the bosses are expecting me to turn it up a notch, a kick in the ass, in this case a match like this, is what was needed. Prepared to be in a shock of you lives. Matt Spears will be holding the briefcase by the end of the match. Get used to that image now fellas

For everyone else out there. I will see you next week, you all will be in for a shocker when the new Matt Spears walks into the match that is my biggest match to date, only to be the last one standing in the ring.

Matt turns to the Wing Chun dummy and bows, he then turns to the camera and bows as the scene fades out.

 SCW RP Golden Briefcase AKA “On land or sea, I’ll claim my victory.”

It was the week of SCW’s annual Summer XXXTreme Spectacular and for the men in the opening match this year’s cruise liner based event was bound to be a golden opportunity as Steve Ramone, Xander Bishop, Damien Payne, Matt Spears, Joshua Acquin and Jeremiah Hardin where competing in a Battle Royal where the winner would earn the Golden Briefcase which they could cash in at any time! Steve has already teased possibly cashing it in on the winner of either the men’s Roulette Title Match or the World Heavyweight Championship/Internet Championship match but the other men in the match stood in his way, can he win?

Grand Princess Cruise Liner
Tuesday the 4th of July 2017, 11:00pm

If there’s one thing I love about cruise liners, it’s the fact that there’s so little security on them! Unless your departing to your destination off course but aside from that? I get to get away with shit like this!

What do I mean by that? Me and Kaylee were making out in the room we’re sharing when she got an idea, fuck in the pool! I was skeptical at first but she swayed me and whilst we finished just a couple of minutes ago it was still some great sex.

But you know what will be even better? Winning the Golden Briefcase this Sunday at Summer XXXTreme where I’ll defeat Damien Payne, Xander Bishop, Matt Spears, Joshua Acquin and Jeremiah Hardin on my way to winning the Golden Briefcase and a title shot whenever I want and it won’t matter if the champion is ready or not because I’ll be cashing it in when the time is right and when I do I’ll be the next champion!

Hold on a second, why am I narrating this minutes after having sex?

“We discovered them as we were getting a midnight snack from the vending machines.” I heard a cameraman explain to Cyrus and Andreas as I started to slowly gain my bearings. “At first we were going to leave the lovebirds alone but then we got worried about who else might discover them so we came over to your rooms and woke you up.”

“You mean like the bosses?” Andreas asked with a frown on his face as we started to wake up.

“Well, I was thinking more along the lines of the younger fans of this cruise liner.” The cameraman explained and my bodyguards nodded. “I’ll stick around so that Steve can do his promo but the bosses are going to find out about this so they had better have a good explanation for this in the morning.”

“We’ll make sure that they have more than enough time to prepare.” Cyrus responded before stepping in front of our naked forms as we started gathering up our clothes. “Now if you don’t mind, they need to get dressed.”

“Err, Andreas?” Kaylee chimed in awkwardly as she used one of her arms to cover up her breasts and the other to cover up her crotch. “My clothes are on the other side of the poolside area, same goes for Steve’s clothes, can you get them?”

“How did they end up……...” Andreas trailed off before noticing our wet hair. “You had sex in the pool, off course you did!”

“We finished outside the pool!” I asserted as I covered up my privates and Andreas sighed before jogging over to the area that Kaylee pointed him towards with her head, thankfully none of our clothes landed in the pool and we got dressed quickly and my bodyguards stood aside to let the cameraman see us.  â€œSeriously, why can’t a couple have sex in a pool these days? I thought this was America! And on Independence Day to boot!”

“If you start quoting South Park I’m throwing you into the pool!” Cyrus warned me and I quickly shut up. “And yes, you can have sex in a pool, if you don’t mind chlorine getting in places you really don’t want chlorine in and the fact that there are kids on this cruise! Seriously, do you guys want to return to the mainland as registered sex offenders!”

“I knew we should’ve just had sex in our room!” I grunted in response as I folded my arms. “So, what’s the plan? It’s still pretty late out.”

“Our plan is to go back to bed, the cameramen woke us up because they didn’t want to get you in trouble with the bosses!” Andreas responded with an annoyed grunt and I shook my head in response. “Shake your head all you want, we both know that this is a lot better than the alternative!”

“I’m not about to argue with that logic.” Kaylee sighed before turning around. “I’m off to catch up on my sleep back at our room Steve, if you want to go for round two just ask but in the meantime, I’ll see you guys in the morning.”

“But not before you and Steve are read the riot act by the bosses.” Cyrus responded and as she said nothing as she walked off.

“It was still worth it.” I commented and they glanced at me. “It was great sex even if we did get caught afterwards.”

“Yeah, except for the fact that no one will want to go in the pool now, especially not the competitors in the Roulette Title Matches.” Cyrus responded before pausing for a second. “Granted that is the point of the Over the Pool Matches but still! We’re off to bed, if you want to use this time to trash talk your opponents, go ahead, just try not to wake anyone up!”

“I’m nowhere near any of the other rooms on the ship!” I protested as they walked off but they were having none of it as they walked off towards the doorway that would take them back to their rooms, well even though I didn’t think anyone was going to rat on me and Kaylee tonight Cyrus was right, if there was ever a more perfect time for me to do my promo it’s right now!

“The 4th of July, the day that marked America’s independence and the name of a crappy Summer Blockbuster from the 1990s! But this year’s Independence Day means one thing for me, I’m one day closer to my destiny and my destiny lies in the Golden Briefcase Battle Royal where I’ll eliminate all the competition and focus my attention on who I am going to target for a cash in off my briefcase! And whoever it’ll be, it will be a glorious night and Xander Bishop, Damien Payne, Joshua Acquin, Jeremiah Hardin and Matt Spears are not standing in my way!”

And now for the disappointing part.

“Last week I had to group two of my opponents together because they clearly didn’t belong in this match, namely Damien Payne and Xander Bishop, but this week? Not only do I must lump those two idiots in together again but I also must throw in all but one of my opponents! That’s right, Jeremiah, Joshua, get in here as well, none of you have said anything since the match was announced last week and I find that disappointing! What’s the matter? Don’t like it when I speak the truth about each of you? The only opponent with any backbone in this match is the guy who I’m going to be spending the rest of the promo trash talking because quite frankly, you idiots have wasted enough of my time!”

And now onto Matt Spears.

“You’d think that an opportunity like this would get the people participating in the match talking about it! But no, aside from me there’s only one person in this whole match who has dared to open his mouth and speak about it and his name is Matt Spears and I must ask, where the fuck have you been? You disappeared for a while before returning to our screens just a few weeks ago and suddenly you have a remote chance of winning any title in the company if it’s in the Men’s Division!”

Hell, he wouldn’t have any luck if he got a sex change and tried out for the Bombshell Division!

“Unfortunately for you there’s a reason why it’s a remote chance Matt and you’re looking at him! There’s only one way that I could possibly not walk off this cruise liner as champion and that’s only if I get pulled from the match at the last minute and I don’t see that happening, I’d almost say that divine intervention would be your best bet otherwise but there’s just one problem for you in that department Matt, God doesn’t exist and religion is a joke! Much like the other competitors in this match!”

And that’s a fact!

“As I said before, my destiny lies in that Golden Briefcase and there’s no way in hell that four silent losers and Matt Spears are going to stop me from achieving my destiny! I may not be competing in one of the over the pool matches this year but that pool is about as wet and slippery as your chances of winning this match Matt and you’d best be careful because otherwise your opportunity is going to slip out of your hands just like that!”

I expected more!

“When my promo aired last week I expected more than just two promos for it but instead all I got in response was from the guy who was voted “least likely to win the Golden Briefcase Match at Summer XXXTreme VI” in the world’s most specific yearbook and that man is Matt Spears, where’s the king of trash talk Xander Bishop? Where’s he hungry new guy Damien Payne? Where’s my old rival Joshua Acquin? And most importantly, where is the former World Heavyweight Champion Jeremiah Hardin? I’ve heard more dialogue from silent films from those idiots and they will pay the price for that this Sunday!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up because I was getting tired and it was already passed midnight.

“Josh, Jeremiah, Xander, Damien and Matt, I have one thing to say to you idiots, on land or sea I will claim my victory! Now to save you the hassle of trying to look up were I got that great quote from, I didn’t get it from anywhere! I pulled it straight out of my ass and it will take a major ass pull for me to lose this match on Sunday because as I said before my destiny lies before me and my destiny is in that Golden Briefcase! This message has been paid for and delivered by “The Fearless Champion” Steve Ramone, the champion the fans deserve!”

I returned to my room as the scene fades.

SCW Summer XXXTreme V
Grand Princess Cruise
(SCW family summer mandatory vacation!!)

The sun shines down as the skies are clear, no cloud is seen in sight. A cool breeze not much in the most perfect weather at 76F/25C.

A camera from a chopper view (Aerial view about 25 yards away and in a 45 degree angle)  shows the Grand Princess boat out at sea a few birds fly around as the camera goes from looking at the front of the boat  to the rear as it slowly pans to the left. We hear waves hitting the boat, a few birds chirping as they fly by. Passengers and staff on board walking around, some lean on the rails overlooking the sea hoping for dolphins or just any fish to jump out the water.  

With the camera still in chopper view and now at the rear. We see the a SCW section as throughout the week many stars can be seen there at any given time interacting with fans on board. The camera now slowly pans to the left again to get the other side of the boat.

Once the camera reaches the head of the boat again it starts to get closer. The view gets so close that it becomes first person view. Camera moves with a bit of shaking from left to right. It’s clear someone is now holding a camera. They slowly walk around the deck trying to get everyone on board having a good time. Most on this 5th day on the boat are tanned as the men are shirtless all wearing different kinds of swim trunks for shorts. Most of the women are in some sort of a swimwear themselves.

The cameraman turns to the right to take a step of stairs going up.  Once on the next floor he walks about 10 steps and goes up another set of stairs going up. He steps at the top of the stairs and goes to the first door he sees.


Off Camera

The camera man knocks at the door. A few seconds go by before Matt Spears opens the door.

Matt: What’s up?

Camera Man: You ready?

Matt: You recording?

Cameraman: No I just turned it off. I did what you said about it showing the boat and all that I'm at the point where you come out the door.

Matt: Ah okay cool.

Matt closes the door. The cameraman man goes back down the stairs.

Back to On Camera


The cameraman turns to the right to take a step of stairs going up.  Once on the next floor he walks about 10 steps and goes up another set of stairs going up. He steps at the top of the stairs and goes to the first door he sees.

The camera zooms out a bit so the people walking by can also be seen clearly. We see a door to what looks like a guest room. A few people walk past the camera some wave but most ignore it. All however are seen with smiles as everyone seems to be enjoying there time on the cruise.

The door opens and we see Matt Spears come out. He is seen wearing a pair of light blue swim trunks with white strip that goes down each of its outer sides. Matt walks down the stairs. Yet while Matt is not holding the camera we still get his eye view on everything.

Matt walks as he looks at two women smiling at him as he passes. After going down another set of stairs he reaches a main floor. He high fans a few fans who ask for it. Waving being friendly to everyone he sees.

Matt continues to walk around and reaches one of the many pools on the boat. A few of the SCW stars are seen on this floor. He spots Master Lilly, Matt decides to walk over to her. We see Lin Ting Lu wearing a SCW shirt with shorts and sandals.  

Matt: Not used to seeing you without a Hanfu robe Master Lilly.

Lilly: Dressed like this I’m Lin Ting Lu, but I suppose just Lilly for sort is fine.

Matt: Well you don’t seem upset that you're wearing it.

Lilly: Oh, I’m not upset, I know if I was in my robe I just stick out and look more in the way. Instead, I got a bit more comfortable but tonight the fans that are watching this get to see the same side of me the fans on the boat have been seeing all week.

Matt: Oh, I see.

Lilly: So you ready for this match?

Matt: You want me to be honest?

Lilly: Yes, of course.

Matt: Steve Ramone is the only one who is the hungriest for gold. He will cash that briefcase in so fast… if he is able to toss me out.  

The camera leaves his first person view mode and zooms out so we can now see the right side of Lin Ting Lu and the left side of Matt Spears.

Lilly: Well, this match is yours to win or lose Matt.

Orchid appears from Matt right. She stands between them allow the camera to get a perfect shot of her wearing a red bikini.

Lilly: Orchid, would you mind getting Matt and I some drinks?

Orchid; Of course not.

Lilly goes to her left pocket and pulls out some money to hand to Orchid. Orchid takes the money with her right hand then bows.

Orchid: I’ll be right back.

Orchid turns the way she came to go get drinks. The camera starts to turn to get a…

Matt: hey Cameraman, over here please

The camera pans to the left a bit and sees Matt and Lin Ting Lu just shaking their heads. The look turn to look at each other again.

Matt: It’s like I said last week, I’m the underdog in this match. I’m the one no one expects to win. That's what's going to make it so much sweeter.

Matt smiles at Lilly as he places his elbows on the table.

Matt: Look the truth is, This is about tossing people over the top ropes, not trying to wrestle tem to the mat.I understand this is a different style of wrestling. I will be ready.

Orchid returns with their drinks. She turns and sees Alana.

Orchid: Oh, I came here to see if you seen Alana but I just found here.

Lilly: Go ahead, we’ll talk later

Orchid Bows before heading the opposite way. The cameraman tries to pan to the left but gets cut by Lin Ting Lu who leans back from her chair. The cameraman pans back to the right as Matt looks at the camera.

Matt: Bro, what the hell?

Lilly: Never mind him, can blame him.

Lin Ting Lu said as she winks at the camera. The two turn to look at each other.

Lilly: Come follow me.

The two and the cameraman get up as he follows the two up a set of steps. They walk a bit and go inside a party room only it's set up as a Q&A for the SCW stars. To the left we see SCW gear for sale. Lilly takes a 2XL black SCW shirt and hands it to Matt. He puts it on as he listens on to Eyesnsane wrapping up his time.

After a few minutes Eyesnsane gets up and walks off. Matt decides to walk on before everyone leaves. The camera focuses on Matt who sits in front of a crowd of about 60-75 fans. A small table with a mic stand holding a mic for Matt can talk to and his drink on the side.

The camera zooms out a bit to get the crowd as a small line of fans get behind each other in a line to each ask one question. We see a grown man wearing a Crystal Millar T-shirt and black swim trunks.

Question one: What do you think your chances are at winning the golden briefcase?

Matt smirks as he raises his eyebrows before speaking.

Matt: Well the chances are as good as anyone else's to be honest, but it's not about the percentage it's about getting it done and that is what Matt Spears plans to do.

Matt nods and points to the next person. A teenager wearing the new Elders Song t-shirt and blue trunks.

Question two: Who would you cash the briefcase on if you do win it?

Matt shrugs at first, he takes a few seconds to think about it before leans closer to the mic to speak.

Matt: Not sure as you don’t know who the champs will be at that time… Yes next

A younger looking boy wearing a SCW shirt and red trunks lowers the mic so he can talk to it.

Question three: Your thoughts on how quiet some of your opponents have been?

Matt leans back on his chair taking the mic stand with him as he holds it with his left hand. The cameraman zooms in on Matt Spears as he begins to speak.

Matt: You know… what’s your name?

“Jason”

Matt: How old are you Jason?

Jason: 12

Matt: That’s a really good question, the best one I may get all day. Truth is, it's really disappointing to see. The company pays us to get in the ring, they ask us to do one thing, one damn thing and so many can't understand the importance of this. All they want is for us to go online and post a video talking about the match, not talking about why and how I will win, no. They want us to post a video on why you, the fans should bother to spend your money on this product. So when a wrestler can’t take the time to invest on telling YOU the fans why to watch the match then one has to ask a question

Jason: What question is that?

Matt: Why should I the fan bother to watch your match is your not giving me a reason to care to watch it…

Now look Jason, there all here on this boat, you all seen Steve last week and we all know we will see him this week. We also may see the rest decide to make you all care to watch but if they don't then think about it. Why not? We're all here on the boat, there and cameraman everywhere. It's not hard to find one and say, “hey come with me so I can provide the company with my footage to hype up my match.” If they can’t do that then why even be on the boat, why be here.

SCW needs to stop wasting payroll on some on the roster and use it to pick up talent who understands that the value of this product that is SCW all depends on the wrestlers that make the roster.  

The fans listening begin to appalled.

Matt: You see I get in the ring and you all boo me, sure you clap now because I’m making sense but in the ring you boo me as I give you reason to hate me… But that’s just it, see I invest the time to get in your heads to mess with you all to hate me some say nothing and expect you to just cheer or boo them. To them I say stop wasting time and invest on the crowd who wants to hate or cheer you.

So Jason when you asked my thoughts on my opponents… well I have none for four of them. They can't bother to show up last week then I can't be bother plugging their name on my time. That said we have Steve Ramone. Say what you want about that man but I will say this. He will always, and I mean always give you a reason to watch him in a match.

Guys like Steve understands the value we as stars really have. We can sit here and accuse him of bitching and moaning for a title shot. Fine Steve is that guy… but I’ll be damned if someone ever said he didn’t earn them. He puts asses in seats, most want him to get his ass kicked but he got them there to see it, that is what matters. Now since Steve and I did are part let me just say that no matter what he says  will kick his ass just like I plan on kicking the asses of the other four men who are hiding somewhere on this boat.  

When Steve sees this because I know he will, I want him to understand that I truly do hope it’s me and him as the last two men. I will kick his ass for a few minutes and toss his ass out to the first two rolls not to the ringside floor.

I will hold that briefcase and I will cash it in when the time is just right. That can be at this very Sunday at Summer XXXTreme V or heck I may just wait until Summer XXXTreme VI. I have anytime time in between to just that.

But like it or not it will be Matt Spears time to shine. Matt Spears being the one that doesn't matter is no more. Everyone better get used to seeing a whole lot of Matt Spears. Now if you all excuse me I’m a bit pumped up right now and I need to get some training in.

Matt Spears gets up and walks away from the Q&A section. He meets up with Lin Ting Lu. The camera man cuts off the camera

Off Camera

Cameraman: Okay Matt That was great. I’ll take care of the edits and have it aired ASAP.

Matt: Thanks man.

Matt leaves with Lin Ting Lu. Only she gets drops by Alana and Orchid to go check something out as Matt goes the other direction to hit one of their fitness rooms. He will run a treadmill for about an hour before heading to a pool to cool off. Enjoy the rest of the day before heading to dinner.
