“The winner of the match and Mr. Sin City Joshua Acquin.”
Joshua has his arm raised by Jasmine in the middle of the ring. Joshua walks back up the ramp and as he makes it to the stage Joshua waves to the crowd as a curtain call. After he gets into the backstage area he has his daughter come up and gives him a hug. Further down the hall he come into the interview area and is stopped by a interviewer that wants to talk to him.
“Ladies and gentlemen I am here with the winner of the last match and Mr. Sin City Joshua Acquin. Joshua as you were leaving the stage area you seemed to wave as you came back stage is this for any reason or are you turning over a new leaf?”
Joshua sighs at the question.
“You know what I did this due to this being the last show by SCW and I just won the match. I think it is safe to say this match was one of the best ones I have had here in SCW and since SCW is closing I can show my thanks to the fans with a wave. Being they boo me or cheer me I know they were entertained and I think a wave from Joshua Acquin is something.”
“With SCW closing what are your plans?”
“Well I have signed a contract with another company, but I am not going to talk about that company as I am still here at SCW for a few more hours. However I plan to take my time and spend it with my family. I also am looking at owning another team and need to check on my wrestling school. If you don’t mind I am going to watch the rest of this show as there are great matches on the card.

Joshua is seen backstage and is talking with an interviewer.
“Joshua did you ever think you would be back in a SCW ring?”
“Let me put it to you this way I have been around long enough to know that they go in cycles. It was only a matter of time before SCW opened again. I have to give it up for Mark and Christian they know how to reopen the company with the Blast From the Past tournament. To be honest I love this event due to it being a random draw. I know I had Amy once and last year I had Kate Steele. This year I have another person I call a friend and Jessie Salco.”
“That takes the next question off my list since I was going to ask how you feel about Jessie being your partner. What about the rest of the teams and how do you feel about picked last?”
Joshua shakes his head a little and chuckles at the question.
“You know I am looking at the field and I see some great teams out there and for anyone to say one team is better than the other is crazy. Maybe after the first round you can make those choices. You have to remember that some stopped wrestling after SCW closed the doors. Jessie is a triple crown champion, holds the Ms. Sin City, and is a future hall of famer. But you look ou and see former wrestlers here in SCW coming back for this event. Then you have current SCW stars that are here and hell you have Grand Slamers on both sides and when we win the tournament we will see Jessie Salco win her Bombshell championship and become a Grand Slam like her best friend Amy.”
“Word is SCW owners are thinking about combining both tag divisions into a mixed tag team, how do you feel about that?”
“I really enjoy that idea. Blast From the Past is one of my favorite things to do here in SCW. It shows that even though it is under the same rules here in SCW where men only fight men and women fight women, it still is a team effort where your partner needs to cheer you on and you need to cheer them on when you are out of the match. I know before SCW closed the tag division was lacking. This breathes new life into the tag division. Now some may say that doing that will make Blast From the Past meaningless and I would like to point out that it doesn’t. For the event it is a random draw. You may get stuck with someone you don’t care for at all during the Blast From the Past, but with the mixed tag team you can choose who you team with.”
“What about your opponents for the first round?”
“I know we are up against a SCW Hall of Famer and someone that has been in SCW and won gold but has never entered this event before. I know Jessie has beef with Keira and I will support her through that. I have never faced Equinox before so I have to look back at tapes to see how he moves and wrestles. I will tell you this I know that I will hold my end in this match and I am very confident that Jessie will do her part. So what I am saying is that we will see the second round.”

“Jekyll and Hyde” by Five Finger Death Punch hits the PA system as Joshua comes out on stage slowly making his way to the ring. The fans boo him as he taunts them going down the ramp. Once he gets to the ring he gets on the turnbuckle and taunts them more. Joshua goes to the edge of the ring and motions for a microphone.
“Oh how I have missed the boos from the SCW crowds. It will have been 91 days since I have been in this ring wrestling. That means I have been Mr. Sin City for 91 days when we start this Blast From the Past event. They say it was a random draw and for a few of the teams yes I see that. But when you have Mr. and Ms. Sin City on one team. Now I am not complaining since I have one of the best Bombshells in SCW. I think Mark and Christian want to right a wrong with Jessie and get her the World Bombshell title match she is owed. This week we face the team of a high flyer, a somewhat of a mystery man in SCW. On the Bombshell side we have the woman that Mark and Christian put ahead of Jessie. I know she is ready to go kick some ass. I know I am ready to take Equinox around this ring and help him back out the door tucking his tail between his legs. The last team picked by Mark and Christian is the dark horse to win this whole damn Blast From the Past. I know a lot of folks out there don’t like me and want to see me fail and when I won Mr. Sin City you all were shocked but I am one that can win because I take advantage of what's going on in the match. I will tell you this I know I am going to do my part and I know damn well Jessie is going to do her part. At the end of this tournament Mr. and Ms. Sin City will be victorious and will be getting our matches."
With that Joshua leaves the ring.
