 {We flash through the events of last week. Now we get Cyrus leading Roxi through a swarm of reporters and wrestling insiders, trying to get some kind of word on exactly what happened.}

The SCW world was rocked by the sneak attack that Roxi Johnson perpetrated on Electra Styles, before re-joining my side. Look how I kept my arms over Roxi’s head, which is also covered by a hooded sweatshirt. Shielding her from your judging eyes.

{There is indistinct chatter, with dozens asking questions all at the same time, simply trying to get a word, or more than likely, an explanation for Roxi’s actions.}

The journey to the car and the car ride shed no light as I directed. We did not speak to anyone, not even each other, until we were out of the public eye. Once they came back into my hotel room, the door was shut and locked. Because we had to have a private conversation.

WARNING: The following contains scenes of a graphic nature.

{The door shuts, Roxi walks in and stands, staring at the room. Cyrus locks the door, and turns to Roxi. Roxi turns around and the two embrace. Cyrus breaks off the embrace, and the camera looks at his scowling face.}

Cyrus – Did they hurt you?

Roxi – No.

Cyrus – Even still, Sit down.

{Roxi removes her jacket and sits on the bed. Cyrus sits down, behind her, rubbing her neck.}

Cyrus – Still no worse for the wear I see.

Roxi – No. Really. I'm okay. A lot better now that I'm back with you.

Cyrus – You have no idea how happy you made me tonight. I knew you would come home to me.

Roxi – Yes. This is where I belong. With you.

Cyrus – I knew you would see that I am the only one who cares for you.

Roxi – I see that now. They don’t care.

Cyrus – Then you must promise never to run off again. You are too important to me.

Roxi – I promise. No more running. I’m sorry I did that.

Cyrus – Then, you also understand why I must take action?

Roxi – Yes. I’m ready.

{Roxi stands up and turns her back to the camera. Cyrus stands up, shaking his head, like a parent who has to discipline a young child.}

Cyrus – It hurts me to do this.

{Cyrus hauls off and blasts Roxi with a loud open handed slap. Roxi goes down, holding her cheek, and Cyrus yanks her up by the hair, causing a short scream to escape from her.}

Cyrus – I warned you about them, didn’t I? How could you leave me? How DARE you leave without my say so!

{Roxi holds her hands up in a defensive position, but does not fight back. Her constant groans of sharp pain prevent her from speaking too much. Cyrus hits her again, and tears start to well up in Roxi’s eyes. She continues to take it. Cyrus holds up his hand up again, and Roxi turtles up to protect herself, still holding her arm up to protect herself.}

Roxi – I….I’m so sorry. I’ll never do it again.

{Cyrus does not answer, but remains eerily stoic with his hand raised as Roxi after a few moments, believes the coast is clear, and as she uncovers her head.

*SMACK*

Roxi rolls over covering her mouth with her hands. She finally rolls onto her knees and sits up, taking a deep breath. There is a small pool of blood trickling out of her nose, and she stares at the blood already on the floor. Cyrus takes a breath and then sits back down on the bed.}

Cyrus – Welcome home Roxi. Now, go wash up, we have a long day tomorrow.

{Roxi stands up and looks at Cyrus}

Roxi – Thank you. I’ll go wash up.

{Roxi walks into the bathroom and the feed cuts out.}

I make no apologies from what had to be done. She's never going to run again.

{The feed cuts back in in the morning, Roxi on the bed, while Cyrus has wheeled an office chair into frame and sits in it backwards while questioning Roxi.}

Cyrus – So, I guess we should get the most obvious question out of the way, Don’t you?

{Roxi nods.}

Cyrus – Why did you leave?

Roxi – I…*sigh* Simon Jones.

Cyrus – Come again?

Roxi – What he said a couple of weeks ago. That people still cared about me. I wanted to see for myself.

Cyrus – Roxi, I’ve told you a thousand times –

Roxi – I know. I –

{Cyrus leans back in the chair, causing Roxi to stop talking. He seems to swell up with anger.}

Cyrus – What did I tell you about interrupting me?

{Roxi recoils in fear, putting her hands up in defense again.}

Roxi –I’m so sorry. Please. Don’t hit me again! I’m sorry!

{Cyrus eases back in the chair, and lowers his hand.}

Cyrus – Good. Now, I’ve already told you many times that they only cared when you worked for them. And now, that you want to do things for you, when you’re trying to get what YOU want, they turned their backs

Roxi – I saw that. I experienced it first hand. All it took was that day with Kurt Newman.

Cyrus – You don’t need to bring up any traumatic events.

Roxi – I know you stopped me, because I was…different. You didn’t want them to hurt me. You didn’t want them to take me away from you. You…you looked out for me.

Cyrus – I told you I would. Always.

Roxi – But…Kurt and Kahlan…they were trying to…Stop me. They didn’t want me to do anything. They wanted their moments.

Cyrus – Now you’re seeing things as you should. They wanted to play hero, because you always did for them. But you know why they wanted to play hero, don’t you?

Roxi – For their own selfish reasons. They wanted the glory. But you, you only cared that I was safe. They were going to turn me in to some hospital.

Cyrus – Exactly. You can’t trust them anymore. They lie. They deceive. You can always trust in me.

Roxi – I know Cyrus. You always tell the truth.

Cyrus – Now, you must tell me about Electra. What did she do to you?

Roxi – She…she kept me hidden from her friends and family. She kept me locked away in a dark room with K-… I mean Sin.

Cyrus – She had that fool there!?

Roxi – She was, but she left after her and Electra talked.

Cyrus – What did they say?

Roxi – I don’t know. Sin told me everything would be okay, and then she left.

Cyrus – That idiot continues to show up in our business. But, with one last push, we will show her how much she failed as well.

Roxi – Yes. Anything you want.

Cyrus – I’m glad you understand now.

Roxi – I see them for who they are. They only want the fame. You are the only one who cares about me.

{Cyrus eases back in the chair. A lot more relaxed than before.}

Cyrus – I want you to know something: You have no idea how happy you made me when you came home.

Roxi – Thank you. After what I saw…this is the only home for me.

{Cyrus stands up and pushes the chair away. Roxi stands up and Cyrus stands behind her, wrapping his arms around her, trapping her arms in an embrace.}

Cyrus – Now, we’re ready to show the whole world.

Roxi – We’ll show them.

{The feed cuts out.}

{We cut back the hotel, to find Roxi in front of a computer, watching as Cyrus kneels down behind her.}

Cyrus – That is your enemy. Vixen is going to try to get inside your head. You just don't listen to her. You concentrate on taking her down. I'll be there guiding you every step of the way.

Roxi – Thank you.

Cyrus – Now, I know they'll try to do something to make sure I can't make it there, they'll find some way to try to get rid of me. I'm telling you this, because you have to be ready to fight without me.

Roxi – Why would they do that?

Cyrus – Because they don't like us anymore.

Roxi – But I need you.

Cyrus – I know, I'll do everything I can to make sure you win.

Roxi – Thank you.

Cyrus – But I know you are talented enough to take out Vixen. Or anyone for that matter. Now, you must focus, and see her for who she is.

Roxi – She is the enemy.

Cyrus – Exactly.  When you win that title back, it'll make everything we worked for worth it. And you will be right back where you need to be.

Roxi – And then what?

Cyrus – Then, we go from there, but first, you must take down Vixen.

Roxi – I will beat Vixen.

Cyrus –  I know you will. I need you to watch, and look for what she does well, and what she doesn't do well. You need to be able to to take her apart. She's exactly what we're fighting against. A woman who has your title. A woman who has your spot. You cannot let her breathe. You are better than her. Now, you need to prove it. You know to get where you need to go, to be exactly where you want to be. You know what you have to do.

Roxi – I have to beat Vixen.

Cyrus – Good. Now watch, and focus.

Roxi – Thank you Cyrus. For everything.

{Cyrus leaves Roxi who continues to stare at the computer screen of Vixen's matches.}

{The handheld camera shakes. There are sounds of someone fumbling around, as the black screen gets a small touch lighter, and fuzzy. The picture slowly comes into focus, and it’s the same hotel room we saw earlier. The handler rapidly pans around the room, before coming to rest as Cyrus is shown sitting in the office chair, with Roxi kneeling behind him. Cyrus places his hand on Roxi's head, stroking it like she was a pet. Cyrus peers up into the camera and smiles.}

Hello SCW. Why so upset? Did something happen that you didn’t expect? That’s just too bad isn’t it? Here you all were, expecting a faux savior to bring back the person you turned your back on. Expecting her to forgive, and forget. Expecting her to just let everything go. And now, you stand here, even more angry, because everything you did, is now biting you on the ass. That’s called Karma.  It’s what happens when you take things for granted. Just like you did to Roxi Johnson. And now, after a…well, I’m not going to lie here, a scary week for me and her alike, she saw everything you did, and more importantly, didn’t do.

She saw as you just let all that happen, and didn’t lift a finger, or as a select few of you did, tried to tell her what to do, and how to live her life. You tried to poison her mind and undo all the work that I – We have done. And guess what? You all failed. You failed because Roxi and I, we’re a team. She needs me, and I enjoy being needed by her. I have done nothing but lead her and thus far, everything you have tried, has lead to more and more direct evidence against you. Agrento and Hardin? Useless partners. Emma Rose? Without me there, look what happens. Then, you exclude Roxi from that battle royal two weeks ago? Is this how you’re going to play it? Nothing but disrespect, and indifference. In fact, I could make the argument that you’re trying to stop her from having success while I’m around.

But that’s not the case anymore is it?

It doesn’t matter what you’ve done, Roxi has become, with my help, the most important bombshell in SCW today. You all can’t get enough. You hang on my every word, you hang on her every action. There is no bombshell even half as remotely interesting as she is. That’s all she ever wanted. And you never gave her that chance. Even when she was champion, you were still more focused on others. And now, you have no choice but to pay attention. Every time you think you’ve figured it out, we’re one step ahead of you. When you catch up, we change directions. Roxi and I are a bonded unit. And you have taken notice, but you don’t like it. Too bad.

I know what it is. You simply want someone, anyone, to wake you up from this “bad dream” There’s no way that Roxi Johnson could turn…evil. Get it through your heads, YOU turned evil. Not her. She hasn’t sold her soul, or any such nonsense. All she has done, is make a change in her life. She tried very hard to get you all to understand, and respect her change. To give her, the same chances she would give all of you.

And what did you do?

You boo’d, you mocked, you judged. You told her all the things she was doing wrong. You belittled and rejected her choices. And why? Why did you do this to her? That’s a question that still haunts her to this day. Why did you turn on her?

But you know what? She’s come to the same conclusion about all of you now. You want her to play the bad guy? You want an evil Roxi Johnson? You want to boo? Well I guess she gave you a reason to, didn’t she? When she laid out Electra, who no doubt was feeding her all kind of misinformation and lies while she held her prisoner for those few days, it was a glorious moment. That silence was so deafening that it sent chills up my spine. It felt so good to see so many slack jaws, people crying, and complaining about what this meant. People were legitimately angry.

And you know what? You deserve it. You did this.

Now, Electra will be dealt with in Cape Town, but as an added bonus, Roxi will be carrying the Bombshell’s title with her to defend it against her.

Yes, it seems the front office has seen exactly the attention grabbing power Roxi and I have. So, to make up for their mistake of leaving Roxi out of the battle royal, she will dispatch Vixen in short order, and reclaim the title she once held so proudly.

Think about this: Despite Vixen making history, despite her rising to the top from a rankings standpoint of the women’s division, she still was overshadowed by us. She hasn’t been making headlines, or been a hot topic of discussion for as long as we have. Vixen got a little blurb here and there, but the main event has always been what Roxi Johnson is doing…or not doing.  Despite all that she did, we proved that being a champion doesn’t make the most interesting of people. Because let’s face it, Vixen is bland. She'll come out later, clutch that title to her chest, and tell you all that it's the only thing that matters to her. She'll tell you that no matter what I say, or how Roxi feels about her, it doesn't matter, the title is on the line. Same song and dance. I believe that Roxi once did that, and you know where it got her? The bottom. The lowest of the low. And now, here we are, and yet, I get the feeling that you don't like it.

I mean, Vixen, You hate me, right? It's okay, let the people know how much you dislike the idea of me having anything to do with Roxi. And you're...what, indifferent about Roxi right now, right? Just another opponent to you. You'd best think again Vixen. Roxi is not just another opponent, not just another challenger. She is, the most dangerous woman in SCW right now. She's been screwed over, let down, and cast aside one too many times Vixen. And now, you're going to parade around with that Bombshell's title, and throw it right in her face. You my dear, are playing with fire. And that, will get you burned.

Oh, does that upset you? Good.

But I get it. Jealousy. You're going to play it cool in front of the camera, but you know you're upset because Roxi is THE hot button topic in the SCW bombshell's division.  You want to be the well..."cult of personality" that  Roxi and I are. We are exactly where you thought you'd be. You thought you'd be turning the heads, be the talk of the town, changing the very landscape of SCW itself by your mere words and actions.

And I can feel your anger fester even now. You want to climb in that ring on Sunday and rip me apart, don't you? Yes. I can see it in your eyes. All I have to do is open my mouth, and the mere words I say, make you angry. But, you and I both know, it's for reasons that I mentioned rather than what you're going to say. You can say you hate because I'm a creep or a bastard, that's all well and good. You're entitled to your opinion, no matter how mind-numbingly stupid it is. It doesn't change the fact that I ruffle feathers and everyone takes notice.

It's the beauty of jealousy. No matter how you try to hide it, it makes its way to the surface in time.

But don't think that Roxi hasn't thought about you at all Vixen. You have accolades to your name, you've done all kinds of great things that maybe someone someday will get to. And that someone, will be Roxi. But none the less, you've had the run of a lifetime. You even did what Roxi could not do, and defeat Gothika for the Bombshell's title. A fact, that Roxi lives with every day, and it makes her question why she could not do it. Because somehow, you did it.

And that, that makes Roxi and I very upset.

Now I'm a compassionate man, I can learn to forgive. But...But, Roxi isn't going to forgive. The fans want to boo her, so, she will give them something to boo about, when she crushes you and takes that bombshell's title back. Make no mistake Vixen, Roxi has been focused this entire week. Listening to what I tell her, and executing like never before. That air of uncertainty and doubt is over. No more mistakes, no more second guessing. Roxi is on a mission, and that mission This is ends with you, broken and beltless.

{Cyrus looks at Roxi, focusing on her as the camera zooms in}

This is a new Roxi Johnson. MY Roxi Johnson. The woman is already at the top of the Bombshell's division, so need only the championship itself to cement that fact. And dammit, she's going to take it.

And I will lead her there.

{Cyrus leans back in the chair and smiles putting his feet on the desk, and throwing his arms behind his head. }

That was good. You can turn that camera off now, I think they get the picture.

{Cyrus' phone starts buzzing, and he gets up and walks into the next room. The camera remains on Roxi, who finally lifts her head.}

A small part of me wants to apologize for all this. But then I remember what you did to me. Vixen, I will become the Bombshell's champion again, and soon, this will all be over.

{Roxi lowers her head and feed cuts.}
