[Amy Marshall]

 My name is Joey Santino… I’m 38 years old and a California boy born and raised.  Up until a few weeks ago, my life was fairly quiet as I travelled around the Caribbean and South America and did a little bit of surfing along the way.  But all that changed when I bumped into a girl that I hadn’t seen in 8 years. That girl has changed a lot since I last saw her and especially with the big career move from porn to wrestling.

Certainly a pretty big career move, though her intentions were for all the wrong reasons at the time… but now she has a career she loves.

Well according to her anyway.

Anyway this girl… now known as Amy dragged me into her life and wrestling, strangely I enjoy spending time with her and watching her wrestle – I haven’t felt this way about another woman since Audrey passed away four years ago.  

God rest her soul.

As for this relationship, I was scared at first, but we both agreed to take things slow for her sake and mine. So here I am, in the Caribbean watching Amy face others in the ring… is this and other times constitute as a date?

Regardless I’m having fun and certainly interesting hanging with Amy.

Standing and watching backstage, I felt like a complete alien in this environment, as some of Amy’s colleagues warmed up for their matches, while other made different preparations, as engineers and other staff rushed around ensuring everything ran perfectly. Turning my attention back to the TV screen before me, I watch on as Amy battled with Lucy and Alexis.

I had seen wrestling before – one live show and a few shows on TV and knew that much of it, was just a ‘show’. But to see Amy wrestling the last several week and here now… I have her great respect for it because you had to be damned fit and healthy to do it.

Drew rolls to the outside and checks on all three women who are struggling to regain their bearings. Lucy is the first to return too her feet and she grabs hold of Amy by the hair and slams her head hard into the ring apron. Amy slowly sinks to the ground as the champion then turns her attention to Alexis and delivers a swift boot to the stomach, sending her tumbling over. Lucy grabs a handful of Alexis's hair and drags her up, then sets her into position for a body slam on the hard turf, when Alexis shifts her weight and lands behind Seraphina, keeping hold of her and she hits a reverse DDT into the ground!

I wince as Amy’s head is slammed hard into the ring apron, but I know and I hope that Amy would come back into the match, although a few hours before this match, Amy and I spoke about the Internet title and she wasn’t too concerned about winning and welcomed stepping away from championship opportunities.  But things can change…

Alexis then goes to climb back into the ring when Amy pulls her leg out from under her and she causes her to fall and hit her head onto the ring apron!

Amy rolls the dazed Alexis Edwards back inside of the ring and the femme fatale of the Nobodies is seemingly out like a light. Amy quickly climbs up onto the apron, and then to the top of the corner. She jumps, leaping for a Five Star frog splash -- but Alexis brings her knees up straight into Marshall's midsection! No sooner is the wind knocked out of her than Alexis quickly rolls her up into a tight inside cradle!

Kickout Amy…. Kickout…   I will her to Kickout. But I don’t think she is able to, not after crashing into Alexis’ legs after that failed frog splash thing. Though that isn’t one of her usual moves.  Shaking my head, I watch on as this Alexis girl pins Amy and becomes the new internet champion.

Lucy is shocked as Drew hands the Internet title belt to Alexis and the crowd boos as the gold is raised above her head!

Justin: Here is your winner and the NEW Bombshell Internet Champion -- ALEXIS EDWARDS!

Hearing the bell ring, I feel sorry for Lucy in some way, however, it’s Amy who I am more concerned about, as the camera’s stay on Alexis, as she celebrates inside the ring, however, I cannot see Amy and where she has gone.

As the programming cuts to backstage somewhere, I move away from the screen and wait for Amy to reappear, as I grab a towel and water ready for her to come back.  Waiting for a few moment, I see Lucy appear through the curtain at first and then followed by Amy a few moments later.

I cautiously approach her, as she clutches her torso.

“Are you ok?”

Amy takes the towel and water, where she wipes away the sweat and before taking in some water.

“Yeah… I’m good.”

Amy smiled at me, as I pulled her close and hugged her.

“You did great out there.”

“Thanks.”

Amy steps away and her eyes divert to someone behind me, I turn to see a young woman with a mic in hand followed by a camera man.

“Who’s she?”

I asked.

“Her name is Pussy Willow.”

I shake my head and chuckle a little, but it’s not at all surprising with the name considering the business Amy is in.

“Hi Pussy.”

Amy said with a long drawn out sigh, as I take a step back and watch.

“Amy… can I have a few comments regarding your match and Alexis becoming new Internet champion?”

Amy looks at me and rolls her eyes.

“Sure.”

“Great… well first question. Your thoughts on Alexis becoming the new Internet champion?”

“Well done to her… but she isn’t really a nobody anymore… but that’s something different and her problem.  Anyway, she may not have earned it, but she proved herself in the ring and in the build up to this match and I commend her for it. I can finally move on and just wrestle.”

“Don’t you want any more title shots or even a rematch?”

“No… no more title shots… no more rematches.  I need to focus on less intense matches.”

“Ok...  well you already have been success in some of the awards tonight.  Best feud with Roxi Johnson and best match with Roxi Johnson… how does that feel?”

“Awesome. Obviously I couldn’t it done without Roxi.”

Amy smiles, as she grabs the towel and places it around her shoulders.

“Well thank you Amy and good luck in the rest of the awards tonight.”

“Thanks.”

Amy smiles, and just like that the interview comes to an end, much to my surprise, as Amy takes in some more water.

“So what now.”

I question.

“You can sit back and relax, while I shower and change.”

Amy suggests, and while that sounds a little dull, Amy needs to relax herself and move on from the match she had.

“Great.”

I smile, as Amy begins move off and I follow, as we head back to the changing room, where I turn on the TV to catch more of the show, Amy disappears into the bathroom.

The scene soon fades on the TV screen the match that appears on the TV.

So a tournament to determine who would be become number one contender to Mikah’s Bombshell championship. 19 bombshells duking it out in this tournament and this week it starts with a triple threat match between Kate Steele, Alexis Edwards and Celeste North and then two singles matches, one between Veronica Taylor and Raynin and then Sam Marlowe verses myself… Amy Marshall.

So Sam Marlowe…

Who the hell is she?  

The only Sam Marlowe I know, got destroyed by The Fallen and scampered off with her tail between her legs never to be seen again.  I guess she has been too embarrassed to show her face since then or perhaps she was too scared to show her face, but whatever the case… you should stay in hiding because you are not wanted.

Sam Sam Sam… I hope the month away has been refreshing for you, because while you have been sitting on your ass, the rest of us have been working hard, the rest of us have been battling for gold and the rest of us have been winning gold.

Unfortunately not I... and I’m fully aware that Alexis beat me at for the Internet title at High Stakes and I’m fully aware that I have supposedly had my time with battling for titles and i frankly welcome the break away from battling for championship gold.

You see Sam, this tournament allows everyone a fair – contrary to what Alexis and Mikah say – chance to make a name and advance and take on past champions etc…  you see Sam, when I mentioned that I welcome the break away from championship gold… I am going to take this tournament one match at a time and not think about what is to come.

So I’m treating this match as normal wrestling match, but you can treat this match any way you like but let me tell you this Sam, you have no god damn chance.  I am not going to allow you to walk back in after a month hiatus and beat me.

You will be in for a hard fought fight on you return and I promise you that you want to go back on that hiatus once I get done with you. I will be fighting hard, I will be getting back to winning ways and I will step on you to do that.

So get ready Sam, you return won’t be so welcome.
