What a whirlwind of a tour we have been havin’.  Not long after Hurricane Dorian swept through the Caribbean, it was the turn of SCW superstars and Bombshells to hit the Caribbean like…a hurricane.  And all of it is leading up to High Stakes, the supercard of the year for SCW where I will be defending the Bombshell Roulette championship against Bobbie Dahl.

But before we get there, the go home show that will see me facing off against newcomer Bella Madison.  I have watched her in her first few matches here in SCW and I will say that she is impressive.  She has been successful and no one can say that she isn’t on a great winning streak.

Well on a streak that is going to end at Climax Control Two fifty…

Now you are probably wondering how I can say that and I don’t think you realize that I can say that because I see a lot of me in Bella Madison.  She is eager to excel and make a name for herself in SCW and I have to say I can definitely see that she has the drive to succeed.  But I also see that she is gettin’ ahead of herself because I did the same thing.  I came into SCW like a house on fire and I was burning my way through the division until I ran into a wall that put a dent into my plans to succeed with every match.  And I learned that as much as you prepare there are bombshells that are just that much better and who want it just that much more when they step in the ring.

I tell you now Bella, total respect to you and I know as much as you want the win this week,  I am going to be wanting it just that little bit more because I want that little extra push a win will give me going into the match at the supercard.

Act one Scene one:  Home…

Sam Marlowe steps out on the front porch of her home in Vegas, a cup in her hand that she brings to her lips.  After the last show on the Paradise Lost tour for SCW, Sam Marlowe had decided to return not to Houston but to Vegas.  After the last few weeks spending time with her family was not only stressful but down right annoying…

*~Flashback~*
Sam moved down the hallway of her childhood home when she was accosted from the side by her former boyfriend now brother in law Montgomery Christopher.  He had smirked as he backed her against the wall and placed his hand by her head.

“Sammi, why are you fighting it?” he demanded in a soft menace of a voice that sent tingles of anxiety down the spine of Sam.

Looking at him with one eyebrow raised, she scoffs.  “I am fighting nothing Monte.  You are my sister’s husband and off limits…”

“I don’t have to be,” he replies as he leans closer, his hot breath against her neck making her flinch.  “Besides, your sister doesn’t need to know.”  He notices Sam attempting to escape and places his other hand to stop her.  He leans in again and plants a slow kiss along the neck of the redhead who presses against the wall but moves her hands up to his shoulders.  He smirks at her for only a moment before a pained look crosses his face and his breath is expelled violently as the knee of Sam connects to his privates as she forces distance between them.

Sam backs towards her room as she watches dispassionately at Monte.  “If you ever lay a hand on me again Monte,” she warns in a soft growl, “I am going to go to my daddy and Cyn and tell them what you did.  Now leave me alone!”  She slams into her room leaving Monte to lean against the wall sucking his breath in harshly.

Sam raises the cup to her lips again as she finishes off the drink.  Setting down the cup on a table, she moves to stretch.  As she does, her cell phone goes off.  Reaching for it she pulls it to her ear and begins to speak.

“Hey you, what’s up?” she asks with a smile as she listens.  Softly chuckling, she ducks her head as she speaks again.  “I’m back in Vegas, that is why I ain’t in Houston.  Monte was getting handy around the house and I was in no shape to have to protect my virtue from my brother in law and get ready for the match I have this week.  Listen Camo…” she pauses for a moment as if hesitant to ask him a question then rushes on.  “I was wondering if you wanted to come to Hawaii for High Stakes.  I got a match but it would be great to spend some time with you too.  I got the hotel booked and well, I am thinking that I better start to really get some better protection from Monte and well…you are the best defence I can think of right now.”  She listens again, blushing at something that is said in the earpiece.

Walking along the path of the back patio, she continues to speak.  “Well that is in two weeks.  Right now, I have a match against Bella Madison.”  She pauses to listen to what Colton is saying on the other end before replying.  “Yes, that Bella Madison.  She is havin’ a really good go of it in the company and I probably will be in for a heck of a fight but you know that I am going to be in that ring fighting for the win.  I have something to prove at High Stakes and how can I prove it if I let Bella beat me this week on the go home show.”

Listening again, she gets a thoughtful look on her face as she speaks slowly.  “The go home show is the show right before the supercards that SCW has.  It usually has some big match ups in preparation for the matches at the supercard.  I have a non title match but that doesn’t mean that is isn’t important in the view of things.  I am taking this match serious and I know that Bella is probably doing the same.”

Sam looks down at the watch on her wrist and gives a rather squeaky gasp.  “Oh my goodness Coulton, I have to go…I am heading to check out Sin City Underground tonight and I gotta change.  I will talk to you in Hawaii.  Take care and talk to you soon.”

Sam pulls her phone away from her ear and then presses the disconnect button as she rushes to the house, pausing only a moment to grab the cup before disappearing inside.

Bella Madison, let me tell you something.  I want you to know that I am coming to Climax Control and there is something that I am settin’ out to do and that is step into the ring and get a win to walk into the match at High Stakes on a high note.

Now you are probably thinking that I am underestimating you and there you would be wrong.  See I may not have been in the ring with you before this Sunday but that doesn’t mean I don’t know your style or that I haven’t been studying your moves and how you conduct yourself in the ring.  I do have to say I am impressed because you have pulled off some impressive wins and that is saying something with the caliber of talent in SCW.  You have stood toe to toe with Apple Coren and well, she isn’t that much of a challenge but you did beat her.  And then you faced my friend Amy and you beat her too.  So, to take you lightly would not be a good thing.

I have to believe that you have probably been doing your research on me because you might see me as a challenge because after all, I am the Bombshell Roulette champion, the number two Bombshell in the division and facing someone like me will put you on the map.  And that would be something you can brag on for a long time.  Hellfire, it would probably put you in line for a title shot in the future.

Here, let me give you a bit of a tale of the tape for our match Bella and hopefully you will know that you are in for a fight at Climax Control Two fifty.  You are stepping into the ring with someone that doesn’t know the meaning of quit.  You are going to be looking across the ring at someone that adapts to each and every match like it was a title match.  Bella, I am the one bombshell that considers that ring to be the one place where I am able to fly like nobody’s business.  Most people will tell you that I am predictable to a point but once I reach that point, you never can tell what I will do.

I have beaten champions.  I have been trained by Hall of famers.  I have a no surrender attitude that more often than not carries me to victory.  But that doesn’t mean that I am invincible so that means I have to be on my toes in the ring and if you ask me, that is what makes me the most dangerous.  See I don’t rest on my laurels of being a champion.  I come to my matches ready to wrestle against anyone like it is a championship match and trust me when I tell you that I am treating this match at the go home Climax Control as if I was defending my title against Bobbie Dahl.  I know you aren’t her but you are just as good as she is and I mean it.  I need to prepare for my title defence and facing someone like you will be just the way to prepare.

So Bella, good luck because you are going to need it.  I mean okay, maybe I am gettin’ a bit cocky here but I am coming for the win.  The desire to win is deeply burning inside me and that means that you are going to feel the flames of that desire.  I breath, bleed and live to remain one of the top bombshells in the division here in SCW and at Climax Control, it will be one more match that I am going to win.

And I promise you this Bella…win or lose, I am still going to respect you after the match.  I hope that you can say the same thing.

Act One Scene Two

Sam spared a glance at Fenris on the plane as he mumbles and grumbles about losing to her in Mario Kart.  She gets to her feet and moves towards the chair near Fenris but a glare from the man puts her off.

“Bananas…I hate bananas,” he mutters as he presses play to begin another race.

Sam smiles as she veers to the sound tech of the camera crew following her friend Ben and sits beside him.  He turns with a smile to nod at Sam.  “What did you do to him,” he asks as he nudges his nose in the direction of Fenris.  Across from the Icelandic man, Ben is in deep conversation with the camera man.

“I beat him at Mario Kart and he was trying to teach me some of the Icelandic language…or cursed me out,” offers Sam as she sucks in her lower lip to lightly nibble on it.  “Either way I don’t think that he wants a rematch right now.”

The pair look over to see Fenris making the jerky movements of the game controller that appear to be driving the carts.  Sam leans back as the sound tech speaks up.  “So, all ready for cee cee two fifty?” he asks.

“Oh I am ready for sure but I don’t know if ready is the right word for the show.  I am prepared for the match and I am ready to counter anything that Bella can toss my way but there is always that element of luck that worries me,” offers Sam as she lays her head back.  “I mean I can be ready for anything but like Daddy says, ‘Sami, you never can tell what is going to happen on any given day’ and I believe that with all my heart.  So, going into cee cee two fifty, the one thing on my mind is focusing on beating Bella Madison.”

Sam is interrupted by the slim bottle and game controller held in front of her by Fenris as he deadpan challenges her to a rematch.  With a smile at the tech, she accepts the controller and moves to join Fenris who turns his head and points a finger at Sam.  “No BANANAS!” he growls drawing a laugh from Ben who joins them.

“Hey, I make no promises,” teases Sam as she chooses her Mario Kart player.  Play begins in earnest as the filming by the cameraman watches the three.
