 {The scene opens up after the latest edition of Climax Control, with Keira being helped to the back by Holly, Roxi is there to meet them at the curtain, an obviously concerned look on her face.}

Roxi – Are you okay?

{Keira nods, holding her head in pain as Holly passes her off to Roxi.}

Roxi – Thanks Holly. Come on, let’s get you checked out.

{Roxi assists Keira down the hall, towards the trainer’s area where Keira pulls herself away and holds herself up against the wall with her right hand, her left clutching at the back of her head.}

Keira – I’m…. I’m fine.

Roxi – You are not fine. Stop being stubborn.

{Keira shakes her head and groans.}

Keira – I just need some food and a good night’s rest, we have to get back to Indianapolis.

{Keira starts to walk back towards the Bombshell’s locker room when Roxi grabs her arm and stops her.}

Roxi – You need to get checked out. You’re not thinking clearly.

Keira – She fucking cheated. Hit me with brass knuckles or something. I know it! I’ll get revenge one day soon. As a matter of fact…

Roxi – Keira! You need to stop this. I’m taking you to the trainer.

{Keira slams her fist into the wall.}

Keira – I said I was fine!

{Keira turns and looks away from Roxi, in disgust.}

Roxi – Is this…. Because of what happened?

Keira – No…

Roxi – Keira, I don’t care about the result of the match. Sure, I want to see you do well, but I don’t think less of you for Alexis cheating to beat you. I am more concerned now because you’re loopy and you need to be checked out. Your safety is important to me. More than anything else.

{Roxi touches Keira’s arm, but she jerks it away.}

Roxi – Keira…

Keira – She knew she couldn’t beat me. I have been waiting months to kick that bitch’s ass, and she fucking cheated. That’s really the only solace right now. Other than that… I’m pissed. And dizzy…

{Roxi puts herself under Keira’s arm to support her.}

Roxi – I’ve got you, please now no more of this stubbornness, I’m taking you to the trainer.

Keira – I said that –

{Roxi’s head snaps towards Keira, almost a scowl on her face, Keira knows better than to continue arguing, shaking her head and rolling her eyes slightly as Roxi assists her to the trainer’s room.}

Trainer – Come on in, I’ll do some preliminary tests, and some concussion tests too.

Roxi – Thanks, doc.

{Keira grumbles as she is forced to take all the tests. Her vision, reflexes, and reaction times are tested. For the most part, and thanks to her healing, Keira is able to pass the majority of the tests enough to please the doctor and trainers.

When she finishes, she sits down, arms folded, still upset over the happenings of the night.}

Keira – Satisfied?

Doctor – Well, it appears you don’t have a concussion, your motor skills appear to be alright. I would still like for you to take it easy.

Keira – I will doc.

Roxi – Is she okay to travel?

Doctor – I would advise she didn’t fly anywhere, she needs both mental and physical rest. At least for a couple of days, just to be sure there no lingering effects.

Roxi – I’ll take care of it.

Keira – Can I go now?

Doctor – You guys can go.

{Keira stands up and briskly walks out, with Roxi closely behind.}

Roxi – Are you sure you’re okay?

Keira – I passed the tests, didn’t I? Now let’s get our stuff and get to Indy.

{Keira keeps walking as Roxi catches up with her, as two grab their gear from the bombshell’s locker room, and depart, heading to their rental car and Roxi drives with Keira in the passenger seat to the hotel they were staying, as the promptly check out, and return the rental car, before quickly walking into an alley and teleporting back home to sleep.}

{Flash forward to prior to the main event of LAW #46 in Indianapolis. Keira has he referee shirt on with Roxi standing behind her as her music is about to cue up.}

Roxi – Please be careful.

Keira – I will.

{Keira looks back and kisses Roxi before her music hits and she walks through the curtain.

Flash forwards to the end of the match as Kenzi Grey goes for a kick and Alex Yin, her opponent ducks and Keira takes the blow square in the back of the head, knocking her out. Keira is soon helped to the back as Roxi instantly takes her to get checked out by the doctor.}

Roxi – Hey… hey… can you hear me?

{Keira is in a near catatonic state, not responding to anything Roxi does or says, Her eyes glazed over as the doctor checks her out. Having seen more than enough, He calls the ambulance. Roxi watches as a nonresponsive Keira is loaded into the ambulance and Roxi rides along with her to the Hospital.

The next day, Keira is in her hospital bed, with Roxi right by her side. Roxi is sleeping in the chair next to Keira’s bed as the nurse walks in startling her.}

Nurse – Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you. I was just checking on her.

Roxi – They… they gave her some drugs to help her sleep. Is she going to be okay? I’ve never seen her like this.

{The nurse can hear the worry in Roxi’s face as she places a hand on Roxi’s shoulder.}

Nurse – She’s gonna be fine, she just needs some rest. You look like you could use some too.

{Roxi nods, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.}

Roxi – I’m not leaving her side.

Nurse – Is… she… someone special?

Roxi – My wife.

Nurse – Oh. Well.. we’ll doing everything we can for her. If nothing else, you should at least get yourself some food. I think it’ll be a while before she gets up.

Roxi – I… I think I will.

{Roxi stands up and heads downstairs, a little disoriented since she didn’t pay attention to the building when she entered. Following signs, she makes it down and is able to enjoy some muffins. She eats one and prepares to bring one up for Keira when the hospital intercom blares out.}

P.A. – Dr. Gordon, Dr. Sims, please report to room 18b repeat… Dr. Gordon, Dr. Sims, please report to room 18b.

{Roxi knows that’s Keira’s room and rushes up to it. She gets off the elevator and enters Keira’s room, seeing Keira brandishing a scalpel looking angry and delirious.}

Roxi – Keira?

Keira – Stay away from me! Stay away!

{The hospital staff are forced to remain at bay. Roxi steps forward, trying to calm Keira down.}

Roxi – Keira, please calm down.

Keira – How did I get here?

Roxi – You got kicked in the head…. You weren’t responding to anything, I was scared for you.

Keira – Who…. Who are you?

{Roxi looks confused, and shocked at Keira}

Roxi – Keira, It’s… it’s me. Roxi, you’re wife…

Keira – No… no, this is all wrong.

Roxi – You don’t… remember me?

Keira – I don’t… remember anything.

Roxi – Okay, we’ll go slow. Come on, just calm down and put the scalpel down, we’re all friends here my love. We’re going to get through this. But you have to let me help you. Let the doctors help you.

Keira – I don’t know… anyone, or anything right now. I am so lost.

{Keira looks around, still confused as Roxi takes a step forward.}

Roxi – We’re here to help. I promise.

Keira – You promise?

Roxi – Yes. I promise. Please.

{Keira gently places the scalpel down and Roxi embraces her, as Keira is unsure what to do.}

Roxi – We’re going to get through this.

{Roxi keeps a tight hug on Keira, who reluctantly hugs her back.

The next couple of days there is very little change, Roxi has to go over everything all over again with Keira. In between Keira’s frequent rest periods where she is given drugs to help her sleep.}

Roxi – Dr. Gordon, what’s wrong with her?

Dr. Gordon – She’s had a concussion. The compound effect of both the punch and the kick to the head, in successive days, have resulted in some temporary memory loss. Over time, she will regain everything we think. But she really needs to rest, and take it easy, no working out, no excess physical activity. She shouldn’t be running around too much until you see any improvement, and bring her back to her doctor, in order to get her cleared.

Roxi – How long will it take?

Dr. Gordon – At least a month.

{Roxi does not like the sound of that. Flash forward to Keira being awake.}

Keira – So, we’re… wrestlers?

Roxi – Yes. We’re tag team champions.

Keira – And we’re also… su –

Roxi – Yes, but, keep that under wraps. Don’t say anything to anyone about that.

Keira – And… we’re married?

Roxi – Yes.

Keira – Do we tell people about that?

Roxi – Yes. It’s okay.  We’re actually going to renew our vows in a couple of months.

Keira – Really?

Roxi – Yes.

{Roxi’s phone goes off, and she answers it.}

{Roxi’s phone goes off, and she answers it.}

Roxi – Amy Jo? This really isn’t a good time….

Amy Jo – I heard about what happened. Bring her here.

Roxi – Wait… You have...

Amy Jo – Don’t argue with me, Turtle. She means a lot to me, too.

Roxi – Where are you?

Amy Jo – The Estate. My doctor is here.

Roxi – Are you sure about this?

Amy Jo – I just fuckin’ told you, don’t argue with me. Get her ass here now, okay?

Roxi – *Sigh* Alright.

{Roxi hangs up the phone, and looks at Keira.}

Roxi – You ready to go?

Keira – Go? Where?

Roxi – To see our friend, she’s going to help you.

Keira – I…. I guess.

Roxi – Don’t worry, we’ll be back.

{The scene fades as Roxi gathers up Keira’s clothes, and teleports her away.}

Well, it wasn’t exactly the best week last week. I actually haven’t been around for a while now to wrestle, not since Blaze of Glory have I been around. It’s been, some kind of week since Keira took on Alexis. I’m just hoping Alexis is happy. She beat Keira. I hope it really makes her feel good, because it’s just utterly ridiculous that she, who hemmed and hawed about interference, and wanting to do it on her own, had to resort to using brass knuckles in order beat the so-called “weak link” of Team Hero. It’s kind of silly that despite us holding these titles, and closing on 200 days, that apparently, I do everything and Keira’s just along for the ride. Keira has shown, time and time again that she’s capable of beating anyone. She’s more than capable of holding her own. Look at the people she’s beaten, and the quality of people she’s beaten, but I guess, I have to still carry her around. I have to say, it’s the easiest carry job I’ve ever had to do in that case. But Alexis needed something to make her point, because Keira is not one to hold her tongue when it comes to these kind of things. A gift, and a curse.

But now, Keira and I are once again teaming, and in Japan to face off with Melanie and Lucy once more. I am proud of my friends for all they’ve accomplished in SCW so far. I always love seeing them and talking with them and all that. And the battles we’ve had, test Keira and I each and every time it happens. They push us, to be better, it’s a testament to how good the Angel Clan are as a team. Each and every time we’ve been in that ring, it’s been closer and closer, they’ve only gotten better, as we’ve got better. And now, here they come again. They’re right in our crosshairs again. If anyone knows Keira and I like a book, it’s the Angel Clan.

And they can and would attest to how good Keira and I are. But I would think that Keira backing it up time and time again would stop this kind of talk about her, but it doesn’t. As made obvious by one of opponents this week. Or rather, her husband, or… wife, I’m not sure how it works when the man in the relationship takes the wife’s last name. But that’s okay, I’m sure given his twitter history, he’s gotten his wife into trouble a time or two. And had his share of embarrassing things happening because of his mouth.

But really, Keira and I are concerned with the Angel Clan, not Kate Steele. We’re going to let Mercedes Vargas go deal with Kate. Not that Kate and Teddy haven’t ran their mouths and been completely disrespectful and inappropriate to the people of Hiroshima, Japan, and how cultural insensitive they can be. But Kate’s sudden change in attitude, makes me want Vargas to just choke her out just to have a slight giggle about it. I know full well what Mercedes is capable of, she’s only one SCW Bombshell’s title away from a grand slam. How cool is that? I don’t always approve of the way Mercy went about things, but there is no denying her talent. Actually, similar to how I feel about Kate now. But we at least know now where Kate stands, and that… is unfortunate.

None the less, Team Hero, and Mercedes Vargas, will be ready for Sunday.

{Roxi transmits to Amy Jo’s estate. Keira still propped up on her shoulder.}

Amy Jo – Shit. She looks awful. Follow me.

{Roxi nods as Amy Jo leads them down to a room that is filled with medical equipment and a doctor standing there next to a CAT-Scan machine.}

Amy Jo – Let him take care of it, huh?

{Roxi nods and gently places Keira onto the CAT-Scan machine before Amy Jo pulls her away.}

Amy Jo – Come on, Turtle…. Let the doc work his magic.

{Amy Jo pulls Roxi out of the room as the door closes}

Roxi – Are you sure it will be alright? She’s got memory loss and …

Amy Jo – Relax, Turtle, she’s in good hands.

Roxi – I trust you, I’m just worried.

Amy Jo – Who you do think brought this bitch back to life after her accident, where my brain went smack against my skull?

Roxi – Really?

Amy Jo – The only doctor I trust. Other than myself of course.

{Amy Jo lets out a satisfied giggle.}

Roxi – So… What’s he going to do?

Amy Jo – He’s going to fix your wife, der. Concussion and memory loss right? That doctor has dealt with much worse and figured it out. The man.has dealt with me. That's a noble prize worthy feat.

Roxi – I just worry, I –

Amy Jo – You worry way too much, Turtle. Worrying will put wrinkles on that pretty face of yours. Just let the doctor work. Sit down, relax. Have a drink or something. Worrying like this ain't  good for you.

{Amy Jo leads Roxi to a nearby couch and almost forcibly sits her down.}

Amy Jo – He’ll let us know when he’s done. I promise you.

{Amy Jo sits down next to Roxi.}

Amy Jo – So, how’ve you been?

Roxi – I’m fine, Amy Jo. Are we seriously making small talk right now?

{Amy Jo nods excitedly.}

Amy Jo – Yu-huh. I’ve been busy, gonna start wrestling again soon...

Roxi – That’s… that’s great.

Amy Jo – But, I do have a question for you.

Roxi – Okay…

Amy Jo – What are you doing tomorrow night?

{Roxi shrugs and stammers, still trying to figure out what’s going on.}

Roxi – N... nothing, why?

Amy Jo – Wanna go to Miami for the 4CW show?

Roxi – Are you seriously asking me on a date?

{Amy Jo shrugs, smiling the whole time.}

Amy Jo – If you want to call it a date, turtle, I’m not going to object.

Roxi – I… I don’t know, I’m not sure, will Keira be safe here?

Amy Jo – Of course. She’ll be here, in the care of my people.

Roxi – I just…

Amy Jo – I know, you worry, we established that.

Roxi – She’s my wife. You know how that is.

Amy Jo – I got it, I got it. You’re going to drive me crazy with that. I’m worried about her too, it’s the whole reason I asked you to come here. I knew he could help. If he helped me, he can help anyone.

Roxi – Alright.

{Roxi finally relaxes as he body de-tenses.}

Amy Jo – There we go.

{Amy Jo places a hand on Roxi’s back.}

Amy Jo – So… how about that date?

Roxi – I was going to go anyway.

Amy Jo – So it’s a date.

{A small chuckle escapes Roxi.}

Roxi – Yes… it’s a date.

{Amy Jo smiles.}

Amy Jo – Good.

{Amy Jo smiles and throws her arm around Roxi as the PA system alerts them.}

Amy Jo – See how quick that was? Come on…

{Amy Jo leads Roxi by the hand and brings her to see Keira.}

Roxi – Keira?

Keira – Roxi?

Roxi – You remember anything?

Keira – Alexis… and Kenzi… they did this.

Roxi – Anything else?

Keira – I’m hungry.

Amy Jo – I’d say she’s okay.

Roxi – Yeah… me too.

I was really just looking forward to a battle with the Angel Clan again. I always do, but the fact of the matter is now that I know what I know… obviously that both kills a lot of buzz, but also makes me very happy. I’m happy for Mel. Congratulations are an order. It’s always a good thing when good things happen to good people. And Mel is a good person. She always has been. Even being at odds against here like we have, I still admire and respect her. She’s always been very cool, and always very helpful. She’s been there, of the rocks in my life. A friend to the end. And now, having seen the news, and being offered a godmother position, it’s just another wonderful thing happening in my life, even if that means that this is the last time for a while that I’m going to see Mel get to wrestle. She knows I will always have her back and always be her friend.

As far as Lucy goes, I don’t take a rocket scientist to know how good she is either. Mel and Lucy at one point were both singles champions, and I get to see Lucy wrestle quite a bit in both SCW and LAW. I am familiar with her I know she’s going to bring it. She will give 100% all the time. Never, ever takes a step back, or retreats, she’s full steam ahead. Even without Mel right here, she’s never really needed anyone to fight her battles. I have full faith in her doing well. I just know she will.

Kate Steele on the other hand, I have no idea what’s gotten into her, and how all of a sudden she’s some kind of wrestling and submissions expert, with literally no training to speak of. How often does anyone, ever, see her training in any sort of martial art or wrestling, but yes, we’ll go with the whole idea of Kate Steele suddenly being good at everything. I think some people are playing too many video games or something. It’s weird. Kate has always been good, but seems very strange that she is now like this. I think maybe that being related to Teddy or Crystal or whatever seems to be wearing off on her, and that’s not a good thing.

Teddy seems to be angry with me about something. I’ve explained many times why I am the way I am, but most don’t get it. Maybe Teddy is just like, really angry he doesn’t get put in some #MCM’s or something. Or maybe it’s frustration with his football team being unable to win games they need to win. I’m not really sure. And then Kate jumps to his defense, even though she roots for Chelsea and knows nothing about that team, and transplanting to America to root for the Jets. You know, that would do it for me. I think I’d probably be bitter too. Whatever the case is, I’m just hoping that once this match is over, Kate snaps out of it and stops trying to run her mouth like her husband, because it usually gets him into trouble. The same can and will be said for Kate as well. Best wrestler? We’ll just have to see about that, won’t we?

Team Hero, even though our tag titles aren’t on the line, we’re treating this like a tag match, and we are, as noted, undefeated in tag matches. That includes the Angel Clan as a couple of wins. I would just watch Kate if I were Mel and Lucy, she’s very much, going to get you guys lumped into a position you don’t want to be in.

And finally, again, I have to say thank you to my friend Mel. I love you my friend.

I will see you all in Hiroshima!

Let’s go Team Hero!
