Well… it is a great feeling to be standing here, one half of the SCW bombshell’s tag team champions. I’d be lying if I said I was expecting it, but I didn’t doubt that Keira and I could do it. I know that the Fallen will get their rematch, and I know that there will be newly forming teams trying to take us off the top of the mountain. Considering we are always the targets it seems. We are constantly being knocked, and attacked on social media, and though there were some negative Nancy’s who have tried to bring us down, but that’s just what we have to do. We’ve have to deal with it for a long time, and we’re more than prepared because of even bigger targets placed on our backs. But despite all that, and despite no one seemingly wanting us to be the champions. We are. We are here, we did it. And I am so proud.
But with all that out of the way, the focus shifts to this week, and my return to singles competition. I know that this whole tournament is crazy and SCW found a way for 19 women to be in it, and that’s cool. I was a little worried about having to face Keira this week, but fortunately, that’s not going to happen, at least in the first round. I suppose we will cross that road when we get it to it. For now, I’m focused on one person, and that’s Twisted Sister.
Obviously, from all her actions, Twisted Sister certainly lives up to her name. I have no problems facing the crazy ones. I have dealt with people with mental issues before. Though I know I have to treat this match like it’s life and death, because quite frankly, knowing Twisted Sister, it might very well be life and death. I mean… holy crap this is gonna be tough. I have to crazy woman to have to wrestle, and this is just the first round.
None the less, I come into this match with the same can-do attitude and confidence that I always do. I will not back down, even if Twisted Sister is violent, crazy, and a maniac. I don’t get to pick and choose who my opponent is, I just get into the ring with everyone. I don’t back down from any fight. Heck, I’m not a former singles champion for nothing! I’ve faced and beaten the best in the business. And now, to get another crack at being on top of the mountain, after fulfilling a dream? I couldn’t ask for a better year.
I mean, winning couple of the year with my wife, winning feud of the year, and match of the year, and on top of all that, winning the tag titles with my wife? And, as a cool aside, winning 40 matches, and holding 3 of the 4 bombshell’s titles? Man, I had a great year, and it can get even better if I win this tournament! I can’t wait to get into the ring again!

{We open inside Roxi and Keira’s condo, where Keira sits with her half of the SCW tag team titles, inside the couple’s trophy room. All the titles they have accumulated rest there, and Keira sets both tag titles on the case, front and center. She smiles to herself, extremely satisfied.}
Keira – Perfect.
{Roxi peeks her head into the room.}
Roxi – I’m surprised you put that down.
Keira – Very funny.
{Keira turns and stares almost still in a state of disbelief at the titles.}
Roxi – You okay?
Keira – Still… kinda can’t believe we did it.
Roxi – I told you we would. Together we can do anything.
Keira – I just… never expected it. I kept thinking that… somehow, someway, we’d lose. That we wouldn’t get it the first time.
Roxi – You didn’t believe in Team Hero?
Keira – I did… but I figured that… I dunno… Something would go wrong for us.
Roxi – Well… it almost did.
{Keira frowns, her mind going back to what happened}
Keira – Jean….
{Keira’s eyes well up as Roxi hugs her}
Roxi – Keira… I know it hurts….
Keira – I keep seeing her everywhere… I’ll be day dreaming and… I’ll see her. I even saw her on twitter!
Roxi – I did too… maybe it was her.
Keira – But she’s …. She’s gone.
Roxi – I don’t know how to explain it Keira… But… something tells me she’s okay.
Keira – If I had just…
{Roxi holds Keira in a tight hug and kisses her forehead to console her.}
Roxi – No Keira, there’s nothing you could have done. Jean made that choice for us. She knew what she was doing, and why she was doing it. Because she loved you and I.
{Keira pulls away, clearly upset.}
Keira – BECAUSE OF SARAH!
Roxi – I know.
Keira – If I had just finished Sarah!
Roxi – And you know that it would make you no better than her. I am forever proud of you for doing what you did.
Keira – She should still be here.
Roxi – I know, I know.
Keira – But… she…
{Roxi re-hugs Keira, continuing to console her.}
Roxi – Listen, listen… I believe Jean will be back one day. For now, all we can do it move on.
{Keira looks up at Roxi, tears going down her cheek.}
Keira – You…. You think so?
Roxi – Yes. I do. But you know what happened, because of our hard work, and Jean’s help?
Keira – What?
{Roxi points to the tag titles on the trophy case. Keira sees this and wipes a tear away and cracks a small smile.}
Keira – She… she did, didn’t she?
Roxi – Yup.
{Roxi eases away, rubbing Keira’s shoulders.}
Roxi – We are champions, and nobody can take that away from us.
Keira – You’re right. We did it. And I am so happy that I was able to share it with you, red.
{Roxi smiles.}
Roxi – There’s no one I’d rather team with than you.
Keira – Not even Amy?
Roxi – I love Amy to death. She’s my best friend and all, But the fact that you, my wife, and my everything, are my partner, and we won the tag team titles…. Unreal.
Keira – And we are at the top of the mountain. We beat everyone they put in front of us.
Roxi – We did, we’re the champions. It’s a great feeling.
Keira – But now… we move on to this tournament.
Roxi – Yeah… I know.
Keira – I’m just glad we don’t have to face each other in the first round.
Roxi – Yeah… me too. But… if we both win… and keep winning… it could end up with us at the end.
Keira – You think it can happen?
Roxi – Well…. You wanna win, right?
Keira – Yes.
Roxi – And so do I. One of us has to lose.
Keira – Or we both will.
Roxi – Well yes, that could happen too.
Keira – But you know…
{Roxi holds up a finger to stop Keira.}
Roxi – Let’s not fight about who’s gonna beat who, and wait til the 8 women are there.
Keira – You know, facing the Fallen again in the tournament would be tough.
Roxi – Well, Raynin’s in. Alexis and Sam… So, one step at a time.
Keira – I guess I’ll see you in the next round.
Roxi – Well… Twisted Sister is no joke. I cannot take her lightly. She’s priority number one.
Keira – I know, just like I got Candy and Traci.
Roxi – We’ve got our work cut out for us.
Keira – Well, you do.
{Keira sits down in the chair in the room and kicks back.}
Keira – I think I’m on easy street.
Roxi – I told you not to take them lightly.
Keira – I won’t.
{Roxi rolls her eyes and shakes her head, giggling.}
Roxi – Anything on the agenda tonight?
Keira – Maybe… maybe we should take the night off… share a bubble bath?
Roxi – Well… that sounds…
{The wrist communicator goes off. Keira groans.}
Keira – Does it ever end?
Roxi – No.
{Roxi picks up the communicator.}
Roxi – Go ahead Vision?
Vision – We have some kind issue going on downtown. Someone has a hostage, and they are asking for you.
Roxi – I’ll be there.
Vision – Be careful Rox.
Keira – Wait, they’re asking for Roxi? Just her?
Vision – Just Lady Bedlam…
Keira – One of your old friends?
Roxi – Who knows?! Vision, I’m on it.
Vision – Alright.
{Roxi hangs up and turns to Keira.}
Keira – You want me to go with you?
Roxi – No, I can handle this.
Keira – Are you sure?
Roxi – Yes. Especially after your run-in with Doctor Dream… I don’t think it’s safe for us to go out together, in case the unthinkable happens and we both end up in captured.
Keira – I don’t like leaving you alone.
Roxi – I don’t either. Don’t worry. If anything out of the ordinary happens, I’ll let you know.
Keira – Wait… you told me before… the earpiece.
{Keira holds up the earpiece.}
Roxi – Right… I’ll be able to talk to you no matter what.
{Roxi takes the ear piece from Keira and puts it in her ear, before slipping on her costume and opening the window.}
Keira – Keep in constant contact.
Roxi – I will. I promise.
{Roxi slides her mask over her face, and flies out the window.}
{Roxi flies as she adjusts the earpiece in her ear, Keira testing it on the other end.}
Keira – Can you hear me, LB?
Roxi – Loud and clear.
Keira – Do you have any idea what’s going on?
Roxi – Not in the slightest.
{Roxi sees in the distance the line of cop cars and ambulances}
Roxi – But I can see where I’m needed.
Keira – Be careful.
Roxi – You know me.
{Roxi floats down, in clear line of sight of the person holding the hostage.}
Roxi – Okay… you wanted me, here –
{Roxi lands, still stunned, as she sees a woman holding the hostage, a knife to his throat, but Roxi knows who she is.}
Roxi – Amelia….
Keira – Amelia?!
{The masked woman smirks, releasing the hostage from her grasp, and throwing her to the ground.}
Amelia – Run along piggy… you played your part.
Roxi – What are you doing here Amelia?
Amelia – I’ve been waiting for this moment.
Roxi – What do you want?
Amelia – Since you’re friend Sarah was so nice, and broke me out of jail… I’ve just been waiting.
Roxi – You are number 6….
Keira – She was the last one!
Amelia – And now… I’m here. For you.
Roxi – What is your problem? You did all this to get my attention?
Amelia – I want you to make sure, that you know, it’s me.
Roxi – You’re insane.
{Amelia stares and frowns.}
Amelia – I AM NOT!
Keira – What did you do?
Roxi – Trigger word.
{Amelia begins mumbling to herself and then it breaks into a full blown conversation.}
Amelia – She tries my patience! I will skin her alive! No, we can’t , this must be planned out! No! I refuse to wait! I want vengeance now! I said no! YES! NO! YES!
Keira – Who…. Who is she talking to?
Roxi – Her…. Herself I guess?
{Amelia seemingly snaps out of it. She turns back to Roxi}
Amelia – Don’t you worry Rox… I will make sure you, and Keira suffer before I finish you.
Roxi – Why didn’t you just join up with her little group?
{Amelia scoffs.}
Amelia – I am a solo act. I don’t work well with others. Besides, in a group, no one stands out. I want you… all to myself.
Keira – Kinky.
Roxi – Quiet, Kat
Amelia – And tell Keira… I’m coming for her too.
Roxi – You want to fight, then let’s fight.
Amelia – Oh no…. not tonight. We’re just getting started. I have big plans for you!
Roxi – You think I’m just going to let you go after you took that hostage?
{Amelia reaches behind her.}
Amelia – Of course not… but… you don’t have to do anything. I’ll take care of the escape.
{Amelia produces a flashbang and tosses it, blinding Roxi and allowing Amelia to escape.}
Roxi – Dang it!
Keira – You okay?
Roxi – I will be in a sec…
{Roxi rubs her eyes. After a few seconds, she can see.}
Roxi – Ugh…
Keira – Amelia… she was the 6th one… What to do think all this was?
Roxi – A warning.
{The scene fades Roxi looks around for Amelia.}
