{The scene opens inside Roxi and Keira’s condo. They play some Wii-U, going at it on Super Small Brothers, Keira beats Roxi using her Pac-Man Amiibo, and throws her hands up in victory.}
Keira – Yes! I win again.
{Keira stands up and dances around the room, and starts making the Pac-Man “Waka-waka†noise. Roxi frowns as she looks at Keira.}
Roxi – You are the worst.
{Keira stops, and looks at Roxi innocently.}
Keira – What? What did I do?
Roxi – You’re only winning because of your Amiibos!
Keira – Oh, now you’re going to use that excuse?
Roxi – It’s a fact!
Keira – You just can’t handle that I am better than you at this, or, really, any other game.
Roxi – Funny. Funny.
{Keira sits back down on the couch next to Roxi as Buster and Trixie curl up next to them. Roxi puts the controller down and starts to play with them.}
Roxi – How are my babies? Mommy missed you very much, you know that, don’t you?
Keira – Until they chew up a shoe…
{Roxi glares at Keira.}
Roxi – Stop teaching the dogs to chew my shoes…
Keira – Then stop teaching them to chew my Amiibos!
Roxi – Fine.
Keira – Fine.
{The two look at each other and then giggle as the dogs lick them.}
Roxi – I know, I know, mommy loves you.
{Roxi keeps giggling as Keira changes the channel to the news.}
Keira – I’m grabbing a drink. You want something while I’m up?
Roxi – No, I’m fine.
{Keira gets up to get herself the drink and Roxi starts watching the news, but she feels the presence. She turns and groans. Even her dogs start whimpering a little.}
Amy Marshall – What ‘cha doing?
Go away, Amy…
Amy Marshall – Oh no, I’ve got permanent residence in your head now, I’m going to be here, for a long, long time.
You’re just in my head.
Amy Marshall – For now. But we’re going to Japan, and I’m going to beat you again. Yeah, that’s right. You know it’s true. I BROKE you. And in my home away from home, I’m going to finish the job.
Or, you’re going to get embarrassed…
Amy Marshall – By who? You? Pfft. You know you can’t beat me.
{Keira shouts from the kitchen.}
Keira – What’s wrong with the dogs?
{Roxi looks over at the Kitchen where Keira’s voice came from. Amy leans in and whispers in her ear.}
Amy Marshall – And then I’ll get her too.
SHUT UP, Amy.
Amy Marshall – Make me…
{Keira appears from the kitchen with a concerned look on her face.}
Keira – Hey…
Roxi – Huh?
Keira – I asked you a question.
Roxi – Oh… yeah, I don’t know. They go through spells sometimes.
{Keira arches a brow.}
Keira – Are you alright?
Roxi – Yeah, fine. I was looking at Buster, thought he may have bit himself or something.
Keira – Are you sure?
Roxi – Keira, I promise I’m fine.
Keira – Alright…
{Keira walks behind to couch back to her spot, as Roxi looks over there and Amy is gone. Keira sits down and turns up the news.}
Keira – Did you see this?
{On the TV, Sapphire, and Comet Girl are shown having apprehended some super soliders that are dressed like Claire’s army. A look of dread falls over Roxi’s face.}
Roxi – Oh no…
Keira – What? This is good, isn’t it?
Roxi – No, not at all.
{Roxi stands up, and begins pacing.}
Keira – Rox, baby, what is the matter?
Roxi – Claire….
Keira – What about Claire?
Roxi – Claire told me to stop Sapphire from doing that. She said she’d kill you, and your sisters, and Nicole if… If I failed.
Keira – She’s bluffing…
Roxi – Keira, call your sisters, make sure they are safe. Call Jenny, call everyone. Tell them to get behind locked doors and windows.
Keira – What… wait, Roxi calm down.
Roxi – No Keira. Please do as I say!
{Roxi rushes to the bedroom and changes into her costume as quickly as possible. When she exits the room, Keira is there waiting.}
Keira – What are you doing?
Roxi – I gotta find Claire.
Keira – Roxi, stop, stop, listen… listen nobody is hurt. Everyone is fine. But as a precaution, I told them to make sure their places are locked. Okay, you need to settle down.
{Roxi looks at Keira and kisses her on the lips.}
Roxi – Listen to me Keira. When I leave here, if any of your family is near here, please, please get them here, and lock this place down.
{Roxi turns to head towards the door but Keira stops her.}
Keira – Roxi, you are scaring me.
Roxi – I’m scared too Keira. I need you to do this for me. Make sure that all of your sisters, and Nicole stay in contact with you. Plug your damn phone into the wall, and sit by it. It may help me track her down.
{The TV comes with an emergency broadcast warning.}
Anchorman – Ladies and gentlemen, we here at the station were just e-mailed a disturbing video from some unknown source, which seems to show both Sapphire, and Lady Comet under some kind of distress in an unknown location. The video is only 15 seconds long, but appears to calling for one Lady Bedlam to.. show up. We will now play the footage, we warn you, some of the this may be graphic and disturbing to some of our viewers.
{The video plays on the screen, and it’s blurry cell phone footage, showing close ups of both Sarah and Sapphire tied up and then Claire’s face.}
Claire – Where it all began Bedlam….
{The feed then cuts out. Roxi looks at Keira and slides her mask over her face and starts to leave, but Keira stops her again.}
Keira – I’m going with you.
Roxi – No. You’re not.
Keira – But…. Sarah… I need to..
Roxi – I SAID NO! Keira, after I leave, you lock this place down. Do you understand me?
Keira – ….
Roxi – Keira…. I love you.
{Roxi gives Keira one last kiss, before she turns, runs, and flies out the window, and flies as fast as she possibly can towards 8th, and the Grand avenue.}
Amy Marshall – That was so touching.
Shut up, Amy…
Amy Marshall – Now what are you going to do? Fly down and fight your friend? You know that’s not going to work right? You know what she’s really after don’t you? She’s gonna make you suffer Roxi. More than I already have. You’re only going to make it worse….
I said shut up, Amy. I am going to take care of this once and for all, and then, I’m going to come for you.
Amy Marshall – Ha! You’ll be lucky to get out of this alive, or with either of your friends alive. You know that’s what’s going to happen, don’t you? She’s going to kill them, and then you, and then Keira…
{Roxi turns as if Amy was there, and accidently crashes and burns after hitting a brick building, she skids along the ground, and lays there, groaning in pain. Amy walks up and again places of foot on her chest.}
Amy Marshall – My boot is taking up permanent residence on your chest. I’ll probably just beat you this way in Japan.
{Roxi rolls over and slowly gets to her feet, Amy knocked backwards by it. Roxi then turns and walks slowly towards her destination, only a few blocks away.}
Amy Marshall – But then again, you have to actually make it to Japan, don’t you? Don’t let her kill you before I get the chance to finish you.
Go… to hell, Amy.
Amy Marshall – I don’t think you wanna go there, do you? You wanna join me, don’t you?
{Roxi walks on, until she’s strong enough to fly, and her healing has kicked in. She lands a few feet from the door, and begins walking towards it.}
Amy Marshall – What do you think you’re doing? You’re just gonna walk in there? That’s stupid. You’re going to get people killed….
{Roxi kicks in the door.}
I know what I’m doing.
{Roxi walks in, and simply removes her mask and belt and tosses them aside.}
Roxi – Claire! Fight me! Right now!
{A large furnace starts up, as it illuminates the room showing Claire holding a pistol and aiming it at Sapphire.}
Claire – What took you so long? I was beginning to think you were going to fail them, like you failed me.
Sapphire – Bedlam? What are you doing here? What is this maniac talking about?
Claire – Oh, you never told them, did you?
Roxi – It’s going to be fine Sapphire, I’m going to handle this.
Claire – You’re just not going to tell them are you?
Roxi – I… I’m sorry guys. I tried to tell you that she was insane.
{Claire cocks the hammer back on the pistol.}
Claire – It’s not nice to insult the person with the gun.
Roxi – Don’t be a coward Claire. Fight me, right here, and now. You know that’s what you really want. It’s why you chose this place.
{Claire begins to get anxious.}
Roxi – Come on, you want to kill me, don’t you? I’m right here! Come and do it!
{Claire licks her lips and points the gun at Roxi.}
Claire – I could just kill you now….
Roxi – But we both know what you really want… you and me, one on one… You want to finish me off, be a woman about it…
{Claire chuckles nervously.}
Claire – I can beat you!
Roxi – Prove it…
{Claire throws the gun at Roxi, who swats it away. Claire pulls out a large hunting knife and charges, swinging wildly, and Roxi dodges Claire then gets a good slice across Roxi’s ribs and stomach, causing her to back away.}
Claire – You’re too slow.
{Roxi blocks another knife swing and grabs Claire’s arm to trap it with hers, and Claire uses her free hand to choke Roxi. Claire frees her hand and tries to stab Roxi in the face, both using all there energy to attack and defend. Roxi uses a quick burst of energy to push Claire back and land on top of her, but Claire rolls over on top of Roxi. Roxi kicks Claire off and the two stand.}
Claire – I’m going to kill you!
{Claire swings wildly and Roxi dodges and hits a few punches, but Claire sneaks in a blow to the exposed wound on Roxi, driving her back. Claire moves right back in with hard blows to the wound, driving Roxi down and forcing her to crumble to the ground.}
Claire – I… I knew you couldn’t do it. Even if you wanted to. You actually care about me… You’re soft. And now, you’re going to die. And then, I’m going to kill your wife…
{Roxi looks up at Claire, a different look, a look of anger on her face. She can barely control it as she starts to glow and the white aura seem only once before, shines through, the light is blinding to Claire, who has to take a few steps back. Roxi stand up and begins hitting hard blows to Claire’s face and body, completely wrecking her. One final blow puts Claire down for the count, as Roxi stands over her, leaning down and apparently ready to finish her.}
Roxi – All who come across me, will be met with swift justice… now, I pass my justice on to you.
{Amy appears behind Roxi and shouts with glee.}
Amy Marshall – I didn’t think you had it in you!
{Roxi rears back as if she’s going to kill Claire, but Keira enters the scene and starts untying Sapphire and Sarah, before turning to Roxi.}
Keira – ROXI! NO!
{Roxi’s head snaps to Keira, and instantly, the glow dissipates, and Roxi looks at Keira.}
Roxi – Keira?
{Roxi steps over Claire and then collapses to the ground. Keira rushes over to her, and picks her up as Sapphire and Sarah meet with her.}
Sapphire – What was –
Keira – Never mind. Let’s just get out of here.
{Keira leads Sapphire and Sarah out of the building carrying Roxi as they fly up to the nearest rooftop and Keira sets Roxi down.}
Keira – Watch her, I’m going after Claire!
{Keira flies down in an attempt to find Claire, but she’s already gone. Keira flies back and checks out Sapphire and Sarah.}
Keira – You guys alright?
Sapphire – Fine, but… you need to explain what the hell just happened to her?
Keira – It’s… something that has gone with training. But Roxi can’t control it yet, she put out way to much energy. She’ll be fine after she wakes up. You guys are okay though right?
Sapphire – I said we’re fine. But… thanks for the help.
Keira – Yeah. You guys go, that lunatic is on the run, maybe you can track her down…
Sapphire – Right… let’s go Comet Girl…
Sarah – Right… thanks… thanks Keira.
Keira – Anytime.
{Sapphire and Sarah fly away as Keira picks up Roxi and flies back with her.}
{Darkness begins the scene. A large spotlight displays Roxi standing in her regular clothes, staring off into nothingness. Amy appears behind her, seemingly in a good moon.}
Amy Marshall – You did it. You actually did it. I’m impressed. But here we are again. You and me. You said you were coming for me, and now… let’s see it!
{Roxi does nothing as Amy begins to circle her. Roxi never once looks at her.}
Amy Marshall – Just like I thought. I did break you, and now, you’re paralyzed with fear. Aren’t you?
{Amy pushes Roxi back a step, but Roxi doesn’t even register it. She continues to stare straight ahead. Amy wraps her arms around Roxi in a bear hug, but Roxi doesn’t register that, either. Amy backs away.}
Amy Marshall – Heh… no fight left in you, is there? You’re done. This is going to be easy in Japan you know…
{Amy walks up and slaps Roxi in the face, and grabs her in a chokehold.}
Amy Marshall – What are you doing? What the hell is this? Is this supposed to scare me?
{Finally, Roxi seems to come to life and grab Amy’s wrist and pull it away from her throat.}
Roxi – You’re too late. I know the secret now.
Amy Marshall – Let go of me!
{Amy jerks her hand away. Clutching it in pain.}
Roxi – I gave you all this power. I gave you the space in my head. I allowed you to get this deep. And now… I’m kicking you out of my head. I’m getting rid of you.
{Roxi starts advancing towards Amy, who backs away a few steps.}
Amy Marshall – No… no, you’re broken! I broke you!
Roxi – I’m taking it all back Amy. All of it. I’m done with you. You have no power here. You were in my head, but it’s under my rules. I allowed you this power. Now… it’s all gone. Just like you are.
{Amy starts backing into the dark, and starts yelling.}
Amy Marshall – What? No! No! You can’t! I broke you! I won! NOOOO!
{Amy’s screams vanish, and Roxi is alone in the room and turns to the light and the light blinds everything.}
{Roxi awakens in the morning, tucked gently in bed as Keira sits asleep in a chair nearby. Roxi sits up and the rustling of the covers wakes Keira.}
Keira – Roxi?
Roxi – Hi….
Keira – Are… are you okay?
Roxi – Yes…. I’m alright. I feel… really good. In fact… better than ever.
{Keira smiles. She hugs Roxi tightly and kisses her cheek and forehead.}
Roxi – What…. What happened to Claire?
Keira – She…. She got away, but… you helped Sapphire and Sarah. You… kinda went super on me.
Roxi – I remember…. I saw you, and then… I must have blacked out.
Keira – I’m just glad you’re safe.
Roxi – I’m glad you’re safe too.
Keira – With you, I always am.
{Keira hugs Roxi again as the scene fades.}
Time’s almost up Amy.
You realize that, don’t you? I gave you the power you believed you had over me. I let myself fall into that mindset, and maybe, for a while, you did make me a little on the tentative side. I’ll freely admit that. But now, now we’re going to end this little game in your home away from home in Japan.
Yes, I realize how important Japan is to you. All you’ve ever wanted to do was wrestle there. And now you’re going to get your big chance, and realize your dream. And you’re walking in as champion to boot. But that, Amy, is where the dream turns to a nightmare.
You got walk away with a technicality last week. Congrats on your first ever successful defense of a championship in SCW. Way to go. But now, now that you’ve got that feat accomplished, it’s just you and me, no more mind games, no more running and hiding, no more excuses. I am going to end your title reign, in your favorite place, right in the middle of the ring. I really don’t have the issues you do with the other bombshells. I am well liked by most of them. You, in your vain, silly choice to go rouge, have alienated yourself. All in your quest to be the grand slam champion. Well, now it’s all for a basic footnote in SCW history. I am going to take back the championship that I made relevant, and you selfishly profiteer from. All of the mind games are going to be for nothing. I have conquered every type of mind game there is, and this will be no exception. I’m coming to Japan, and I’m coming for you.
The fact that this is a lumberjll match makes very little difference to me. The only thing it will show, is that all the other bombshells, are going to watch me take you apart, and take back my championship. Even you know that you don’t even care about that title, because all it was to you, was place in history. It still means nothing to you. You spent all the time you could calling me a non-champion, and now, you’ve got it, and you treat it like it was nothing. You survived last week, you will not be so luck this week.
I’m taking back the championship. You took it from me, you have a successful defense because of me, and now, the time has come for your 15 minutes of history to be just that, history. I’m going to show all the lumberjills that I am better than you. I’m going to show the lumberjills that I am a true champion, and that you, are not. You simply were in the right place, at the right time to get the championships you have. No more Amy. No more hand picking you to face a champion, no more lack of competition to get you a shot. When I defeat you, you go to the back of the line, and you earn your way back, and if you choose to come after it again, I will be waiting, and this time, there won’t be any mind games.
You may have broken me down once Amy. But this time, I’m going to break you.
I’m coming to Japan soon, so you’d better take the championship with you everywhere, get your picture taken in Japan as many places as you can with it. Eat sushi off of it. Do whatever your heart desires with it. Because I actually want your homecoming to Japan to be everything you want it to be. Just so I can make taking the championship from you, all the more sweet for me.
But you know Amy, despite you being what you are. I don’t hate you. I don’t. I finally understand what you did, and why you did it. And I’m okay with all that now. I’ve come to terms with the whole situation. This is how you wanted it, and this is how you’re going to get it. I’m okay with that too. And when it’s all over, and I’ve regain my championship, despite all of it, I will put my hand out to you, and I will put this all behind us. Because that’s the type of person I am. We can be friends again. But that part is up to you.
The countdown is on.
I’ll let you think about it for a couple of days Amy. Let it simmer. You only have two days left with that championship. That’s it, then it comes back to me. What are you going to do with the time you have left? How will you spend your remaining hours as champion? When you come through that curtain in Japan, that’s the last time you come through as Internet champion.
