Ariana had done it! Not only did she finally break her losing streak at High Stakes but she broke her title drought as well, finally winning the Bombshell Internet Championship after spending a good chunk of the year trying, but there was still one last PPV left in the SCW Callender for 2023, December 2 Dismember V and word was that Luna was going to get a return match against Ariana in the near future but before all that? Ariana had her first match as champion to get out of the way first.
And that match involved more former champions as she was teaming up with her bestie HB Carter in a Mixed Tag Team Match against the former Mixed Tag Team Champions Eiley and Oliver Zahn! Ariana’s title wasn’t on the line and that fact no doubt brought much relief to Ariana considering the underhanded tactics that the former champions were known to use, and with Carter suffering a crushing defeat in the Six Pack World Championship Match at High Stakes Team Go needed all the help they could get, can Team Go win?

It seems like I always get it together during the second half of the year, doesn’t it?
Maybe it’s got something to do with me graduating right before my nineteenth birthday in October of 2019 but my luck seems to pull through once we’re past the summer months, last year I won the Bombshell Roulette Championship from Melissa at Violent Conduct by pinning Georgie Robertson in a Triple Threat and whilst I wasn’t able to repeat that success against Courtney at this year’s Violent Conduct? I came away with one hell of a consolation prize.
Namely? The Bombshell Internet Championship, months of trying has finally paid off, I beat Luna to win the title tonight going two for two not just in title matches but in matches at High Stakes.
And no, you needn’t bother trying to wipe off the big grin on my face as I returned to the backstage area, especially when I saw three men waiting for me, my husband Francisco, Miles, and HB Carter.
”YES!” Francisco exclaimed happily as he ran up to me and greeted me with a hug, same way he greeted me after I won the Bombshell Roulette Title last year, and you know what? It never gets old. ”I knew you could do it Ari! I knew it!”
“Franky, mate, maybe try not suffocating the new champ with your hug?” Miles teased him and we shared a laugh before he broke the hug and I turned to Miles, he had won the men’s Internet Title at the last Climax Control and had successfully defended the title against Eddie Lyons and BRADDOCK in the match right before mine, naturally the Brit was sweaty as hell from his match but that wasn’t stopping him. “Congrats Ari, now we’re double champions again.”
”Thanks Miles.” I thanked him with a big grin on my face before Carter tapped me on the shoulder, I turned to him and, well, what he did could only be described as a sneak attack hug. ”I wasn’t going to forget about you bestie!”
”I know Ari but I couldn’t help myself.” Carter responded with a grin as he pulled away from me. ”And after all you’ve been through this year? You’ve earned that title.”
”I’ll drink to that once we get to Jessie’s bar.” I responded with a grin before I rested the title over my shoulder. ”And you know what makes this sweeter? I won this title right in time for my twenty third birthday.”
“That’s right, your birthday is at the end of the month, isn’t it?” Miles asked and I quickly nodded in response. “What day was it again? Just so I know when to get you a birthday card?”
”My birthday is on Halloween, yeah, I know, the girl behind Recipe 4 Disaster was born on Halloween, I’ve heard the jokes before.” I responded with a laugh before looking at my title proudly. ”Only way tonight will be perfect is if you walk out the champ in the Main Event Carter.”
”No pressure.” Carter laughed in response though I could tell it was a nervous laugh. ”You guys had it pretty easy, Miles had two opponents to deal with, Ari had two, I’ve got five opponents to deal with.”
”True, there’s a lot of variables in that match, and that’s not counting the talent involved.” I nodded in agreement before I put a reassuring hand on Carter’s shoulder. ”But you believed in me when I went up against Courtney at Violent Conduct and I’m doing the same for you Carter, you can do this.”
“Will we need someone to play bad cop?” Miles chimed in and we turned to him with grins on our faces. “On second thought, forget I said that I’m sure Carter has a few jokes he could make.”
”Who? Me?” Carter asked as he put on his best “innocent” face for his boyfriend and we just shook our heads with a laugh. ”Speaking of that title match, I’ve got to go prepare for it but congrats again Ari.”
”Thanks and good luck!” I called after them and once they were out of site Francisco span me around and pulled me in for a kiss, it wasn’t long before we were making out and whilst I’m not exactly a short woman at 5ft 6? Francisco was 6ft 4 and still had to lean down to kiss me, much like I had to break off the make out session before we stated taking off our clothes. ”We’ll save that celebration for later babe I’d rather not get in trouble with the bosses for having sex with my husband in the middle of a PPV.”
”We’d at least put on a good show for the fans, right?” Francisco asked teasingly and I grinned before I gave him a passionate kiss, tongue and all, before breaking it off. ”Was that a preview for later?”
”Maybe, maybe not?” I responded with a grin not really noticing that some of my Greek accent had started to poke through my American accent, I usually only use it when I’m either speaking in Greek or feeling hot and heavy with Francisco and, well, the context pretty much went without saying here. ”But make sure the wait is worth it, okay?” I asked with a playful wink before we walked off.
Sadly the perfect night hit a snag when Carter was eliminated from the Main Event, he almost made it all the way, the final three was between him, Raven and J2H and he had even managed to eliminate Goth, but in the end? Raven eliminated him and went onto loose the match to J2H.
Still, two out of three wasn’t too bad, and I was getting a chance to help him bounce back at the next Climax Control as we were teaming up to take on Oliver Zahn and Eiley, they had lost the Mixed Tag Team Titles earlier in the night to Kayla Richards and Finn Whelan and there would be a rematch down the line between them but that wasn’t the only thing on my mind, Luna was in action that week taking on Kat Jones, and it was pretty much confirmed that Luna was getting a return match, likely as my first defence.
They never said that being a champion in SCW was easy.

Calling the last couple of weeks crazy is putting it mildly to be honest.
Don’t get me wrong, the moment I won the Bombshell Roulette Title at least year’s Violent Conduct was special in it’s own right, it’s like I said at the time, you never forget your first time and your first singles title reign is something that sticks with you for the rest of your career. For good and bad, and now just over a year later I’m done it again, this time claiming the Bombshell Internet Championship at the biggest stage of the SCW Callender.
I’ve often maintained that the derision the Roulette Divisions get is unwarranted, not only can careers be made there (just ask Krystal) but the champions of those respective divisions often have to work harder than the other champions because the only thing they know heading into a match is who their opponent(s) will be and that their fate could be decided by the decided by the wheel rather than anything they can control.
Just look at my first defence against Seleana, a match that happened three weeks after I won the title, I retained of course but considering I defended against Melissa two weeks later in my first Climax Control Main Event? I quickly learned that the bosses weren’t fond of letting their titles collect dust.
Which is why I’m surprised (and more than a little relieved) that they didn’t make the Mixed Tag Team Match between me and Carter and Eiley and Oliver Zahn a match where I could lose the title to Eiley if I got pinned by her, instead saving my first defence for a return match against Luna, off course that would come with a caveat because if Oliver pinned Carter then the title would stay with me, something we saw during Melissa’s one an only defence of this title during this year’s Blast from the Past Tournament.
And yeah, the fact that I’m facing off against my Blast from the Past partner in this tag team match hasn’t escaped me, guess Krystal has a point when she says that fate has a funny sense of humour.
”Twenty three already, where has the time gone?” I asked myself with a yawn as I woke up on the morning of my twenty third birthday, go ahead and make your jokes about my birthday being on Halloween, I’ve heard them all before, anyway I glanced over at the bedside table and spotted a glorious site, the very title I had won at High Stakes staring back at me and I couldn’t help but grin. ”And if I didn’t have such a wonderful husband, I’d call this the best birthday gift a girl could ask for!”
Before I could even get out of bed the bedroom door opened and I glanced up, not only was Francisco coming in carrying a tray of delicious smelling food but he was being followed by our dogs, the Golden Labrador Zeus, and the Border Collie puppy Oreo. ”Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Ariana, happy birthday to you!” Francisco sung the song that had to have been sung a million times all over the world by now but I wasn’t about to object, especially when he put the tray down in front of me and revealed that he had made breakfast in bed for me. ”I know you usually cook breakfast but since it’s your big day and all I wanted to treat you.”
”Funny, that’s not usually what I have in mind when I think off “breakfast in bed” from you.” I responded with a playful wink and Francisco laughed before I gave the two dogs worried glances, Oreo I was less concerned about, she was growing fast but right now she barely came up to my knee and could really only poke her adorable head up from the ground without jumping up, Zeus, being a full grown Labrador, was more of a concern because he was a bit taller than the bed I shared with Franky and was eyeing the food up. ”But seriously, you might want to take the dogs out of the room before they beat me to my breakfast.”
”Yeah, that’s a good point.” Francisco nodded in agreement before he picked up Oreo and let me stroke her for a bit before motioning for Zeus to follow him, the Labrador was a bit reluctant but he eventually caved leaving me to eat my breakfast and get dressed in peace, no I wasn’t sleeping naked, but considering I only had a bra and panties on under the cover? I may as well have.
As for the Breakfast in Bed? Well the jury’s out on whether it was better than the breakfast in bed that I usually get from Franky because he was a damn good cook and it was delicious.

Once I had finished my breakfast and gotten dressed there was only one thing left to do, head downstairs with my newly won title.
”Breakfast in bed was messy but delicious.” I commented with a yawn and Francisco grinned as he turned to me. ”So, what’s the plan for my birthday meal? I don’t think anything’s going to top going to Gordon Ramsey Steak last year.”
”If I had the capability to top a meal out at one of Gordon Ramsey’s restaurants? I’d be in the culinary industry.” Francisco responded before he handed me a gift wrapped game package. ”Juliana will be around to cook us some awesome meals throughout the day, and she’s bringing the second half of that present, I couldn’t get one in time.”
”Second half?” I asked with a raised eyebrow before I opened the gift, it was the PS5 version of the new PlayStation game Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, considering I didn’t own a PS5? It didn’t take me long to figure out what the other half was. ”Not gonna ask how she got it considering the headaches we had trying to get one at launch, but I will thank you babe.”
”The pleasure’s all mine.” Francisco responded before I gave him a big wet kiss, after I broke it he grinned. ”And that is one hell of a thank you.”
”Who said I was done?” I asked before resuming the make out session, we went at it for a bit and it did get steamy, how steamy? If it had lasted any longer we would’ve ended up on the couch with either of our tops off and, well, you can probably guess the rest, sadly though? That would have to wait until much later because?
“You know, if I wanted that kinda show, I’d just go on PornHub.” Julianna said as she stood in the doorway, naturally the dogs were giving her plenty of attention. “Or did you forget that Franky gave me a spare key for emergencies?”
”I don’t count my sister in law delivering my birthday presents as an emergency Julianna, not that I’m complaining since Franky already spoiled the big one.” I responded with a grin as I held up the game and Julianna nodded before setting the gifts down on the table. ”And the fact that you’ll be cooking for us.”
“What can I say? I gotta put my culinary skills to use sometime.” Julianna responded with a grin before I started opening my presents, there was some cookbooks but most of it was other PS5 games. “Though saying that? There’s no way I can top the present you gave yourself at High Stakes.”
”Heh, yeah, Franky was worried about how he was going to top me winning the Bombshell Internet Title right in time for my birthday.” I responded with a grin as I glanced over at the title. ”Don’t know when my first defence will be but I look forward to it, but I am mostly focussed on that Mixed Tag Match.”
“You and Carter will be fine, Oli and Eiley have the now current champs to worry about, now, are you going to open the rest of your presents?” Julianna asked and I did so with the rest of the night being a nice quiet one.

I did it!
”Good things come to those who wait, I certainly waited long enough to win this for the first time.” I stated as I held up the Bombshell Internet Championship. ”And what’s more? I won it right before my twenty third birthday which is today! But whilst today is a day of celebration for me, this Sunday’s Climax Control will be back to business because whilst I’m not defending this title? My first match as champion has been schedules, me and HB Carter vs. Eiley and Oliver Zahn in a Mixed Tag Match.”
This will be good.
”Saying that me and Carter got the short end of the stick when the Mixed Tag Team Titles were reactivated is accurate, nothing says “bad luck” like getting Kim Pain and Peter Vaughn in your qualifying match after all.” I added as I brushed some hair over my shoulder. ”But the match we tried to qualify for was ultimately won by Oliver and Eiley and they had an impressive and controversial run with the belts until Kayla and Finn ended it at High Stakes, but I wonder, can Jet City win a match without cheating?”
Good question.
”Considering Courtney lost the World Bombshell Title to Juliana DiMaria the same night? I’d say the answer’s no, and me and Carter will prove it on Sunday.” I added as I folded my arms. ”Because when you combine Carter’s desire to rebound with my desire to not lose my first non-title match as champion in over a year? This match is Team Go’s to lose! And guess what? Because I’m the only one in this match who won their matchup at High Stakes? I’m entering this match with all the momentum in my team’s corner!”
Bitter truth.
”Sorry Carter but I had to call it like it is, I know you did well in the Six Pack Challenge but we both know how tricky those matches are to win, so many variables, pity that Oliver and Eiley don’t have that excuse, right?” I asked as I brushed some hair over my shoulder. ”And off course I’m being sarcastic, because that little fact plays right into our hands, throw in the fact that I know Oliver pretty well as a competitor after facing teaming with him in Blast from the Past and that I’ve seen enough of Eiley’s matches to know how good she is? And this is going to be a hell of a match!”
It's that simple.
”There is off course another reason why I want this win, Luna has all but been confirmed as my first challenger and much like I’ll be watching her match against Kat Jones closely? I know she’ll be watching this Mixed Tag Match closely as well.” I added as I flipped some hair over my shoulder. ”It’s for that fact alone that I’m determined to win my first match as a twenty three year old woman and trust me guys, your dirty tricks won’t on me!”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
”Hope you guys are ready for Team Go because at Golden Angel Part 1: Dawn of a New Era? I’ll be out to stamp my spot as the new champ on the block and I can’t afford to show any weakness to a potential challenger either.” I added as I walked towards my car. ”And as the former Mixed Tag Team Champions Eiley and Oliver Zahn bask in the glory of the Golden Angel’s glow? I will get that win as Team Go goes the distance! See you in the ring!”
I turned off the camera, got in the car and drove off as the scene fades.
