The scene fades in on Ethan Brody stumbling down a long hallway, his clothes covered in blood, his wounds clear to see from the following nights events, Brody steps into his locker room and sits down on the nearest chair. His tag team partner Landon Axel is standing in the adjacent corner of the room with his phone up against his ear.
Landon Axel
That is wonderful news, thank you ever so much, you will definitely not regret this!
Ethan tries to move his head around but winces in pain.
Landon Axel
This Sunday will be perfect! Okay we’ll see you then, bye!
Landon switches his phone off and slides it into his leather jacket, he walks over to Ethan who’s looking a bit worse for wear, Landon slaps Ethan on the back and smiles broadly.
Landon Axel
Guess what!
Ethan’s eyes look like they’re about to pop out after the slap on his tender back
Ethan Brody
Once I get back to full health I’m going to beat you silly?
Landon snorts
Landon Axel
Pfft, no! This Sunday we’re going to appear on Climax Control! We’re Sin City Wrestling bound!
Ethan looks at his partner in disbelief
Ethan Brody
You cannot be serious?
Landon Axel
Oh I am.. we’re facing the surf boys!
Ethan’s mouth drops to the floor as Landon nods his head approvingly
Landon Axel
See, I knew you’d be shocked!
Ethan gets up gingerly and looks at his partner square in the eyes.
Ethan Brody
Have you not seen what I’ve been put through this week?
Landon is slightly taken back
Landon Axel
Yeah, and?
Ethan Brody
We were involved in a massive six man tag team match, I then defeated Jay Pablo, Sean Jackson and battled valiantly against The Spectre in the King of the Death Match Tournament, I’ve now participated in this Lord of the Rings match!
Ethan coughs grabbing his ribs in pain
Ethan Brody
If you’ve been following along that is five hellacious matches in a matter of four days! And now you’ve managed to book me into my six match within a week! I’m exhausted and need a break Landon, I’m not as sprightly as I once was!
Ethan walks over to the bench and lies down, Landon looks at his partner still smiling, Ethan ignores him as he tries to recover after the past couple of days.
Landon Axel
It’s an opportunity to not just establish ourselves in Sin City Wrestling, the NWA world tag champions are situated there, if we want to prove ourselves against the very best then we’ve got to face the very best!
The door opens behind Landon and in walks the resident doctor, he walks over to Ethan and places his medical bag down, looking at the fallen veteran and presses his hand on Brody’s chest.
Doctor
What seems to be the problem?
Ethan Brody
A person by the name of Landon Axel *sigh* but if you mean my health then everything, Doc, I’ve been brutalised and need medical attention!
Doctor
I’m going to check you over, are you comfortable like this?
Ethan nods as the doctor begins his examinations on ‘the exile’, Landon stands over the doctor looking at Ethan, trying to catch his eye before continuing.
Landon Axel
Listen I know I’ve asked a lot, coming to Canada to wrestling in the ACW, signing you up to multipal NWA tournaments and now signing up to SCW, but look at what we’ve accomplished!
Ethan Brody

Landon Axel
We got the number one contendership for the ACW Tag Team Championships!
Ethan Brody
We did but let us not forget who became a semi-finalist of the King of the Death Match tournament, let us not forget who represented ACW at Lord of the Rings tonight, I’ve been a solo artist majority of the time so cut this ‘we’ shit out, shall we?
Landon stands back and thinks about what Ethan has said, Landon had put his name forward to participate in these tournaments, to benefit the team and there profile. The doctor continues his examination with the odd massage in areas, Ethan places his hands behind his head for support, his forhead sore from the flaming tray to the face the previous night.
Ethan Brody
Look.. I understand you’re determined to succeed and the hunger is clear to see, however it takes time, it doesn’t happen overnight Landon.
Ethan sits up with the help of the doctor.
Ethan Brody
If you want us to go to Sin City Wrestling, Fine, We’ll go and compete there as well as ACW, we’ll prove why we’re the premier tag team in the national wrestling alliance and further afield!
Landon Axel
That’s the spirit!
Landon smiles as the scene fades away to the sight of Ethan Brody getting his wounds and body treated by the in house doctor. The scene fades back in to the two men known as Guns for Hire sitting inside of one of the casinos, Landon holding a cup of quarters as he inserts them one by one into a slot machine, Ethan has his head bandaged and is looking a bit worse for wear as he stands next to the slot machine facing the camera.

Our journey has now taken us to the land of sin, SCW, the chance to wrestle some amazing tag teams and perhaps push ourselves into contention for a championship shot! We’ve managed to earn a shot at the ACW Tag Championships and our journey starts here on our quest to become SCW Tag Team Champions!
Landon pulls the handle of the slot machine down a few times before pushing more coins in.

Before we get ahead of the game, for those who do not know us my name is Ethan Brody, the semi-finalist of the King of the Death Match 2013, that long haired fellow is Landon Axel, Collectively we’re Guns for Hire. We were exclusive to Atlantic Championship Wrestling but now we’re now going to raise hell in Sin City Wrestling, I know there is a little triad war of attrition going on currently, we like ourselves a good fight so whomever wants our services will have to pay top dollar! We’re worth it! …enough of the shameless plug, we’re going to be facing the surf boys, narly and radicle, two guys who’ve been in and around the championship scene themselves but have never amounted to much. What better way than to derail the Guns for Hire before they’ve even stepped foot into an SCW ring, it’s enticing to say the least, but we’re not men who simply allow that to happen. Oh no. we’re fighters, as I proved at King of the Death Match, beating Jericho Hills rival and the former challenger to the world’s heavyweight championship in Sean Jackson!
Landon is getting frustrated at not winning, Ethan glances back and forth from him, he slaps the cup out of Axel’s hand as the coins fly everywhere with Landon looking shocked

My partner will be focused on the night, I’m definitely focused, we’ve heading into June with our Tag Team Championship match against Ben Jordan and Mickey Carrol, we’re now Sin City Wrestlers ready to begin our quest for the SCW Tag team Championships! Guns For Hire will make their SCW Debut this Sunday, I hope the surf boys are prepared!
Axel kneels down and begins to pick up his quarters, Ethan looks at him and shakes his head in disbelief, Landon picks them up one by one and places them back into his pot as the scene fades away to black…
