One giant stepping stone in my path, bring it!
« on: May 30, 2013, 10:16:44 PM »
Two weeks ago after the Team Erick Bombshells Joanne Carelli, Amy Marshall and Laura Jackson secured a win over Cyn Marlowe Jessie attacked them as revenge for their part in putting her friend Karina Koji on the injured list, at the same time she made it clear that she wants a title that she was cheated out of during the South American Tour, the SCW Bombshell Roulette Championship currently held by Team Erick’s Necra Octavian Kaine.

That was two weeks ago and Jessie and her siblings haven’t been seen since until now, Jessie had a massive test ahead of her on this week’s edition of Climax Control as she was facing one half of the SCW Bombshell Tag Team Champions, another title she’s held in the past, Raynin, anyone who’s seen Raynin wrestle knows that Jessie is in for the fight of her life but Jessie does have one advantage, Raynin is a tag team specialist whilst most of the matches Jessie has competed in during her time in SCW have been singles matches, can she win?

“Fall on your knees, and hail to the god….” I sang along to the Sanctuary song “Battle Angels” as I headbanged to the guitar riff, given all the stress I’ve been having recently with Team Erick and even my own Team SCW teammates I can use the stress relief and if you ask a metalhead what he/she does to relax they usually answer “listen to heavy metal” and that’s what I’m doing.

And with my big match at Climax Control I need a clear head! Raynin’s a tough bitch, I’d be stupid to deny that fact and whilst I get the feeling that Erick put me against her to stop me from challenging for the SCW Bombshell Roulette Championship I will win this match and send a message to Necra, I’m not the same terrified rookie that you faced in the past.

“Jess, one of these days we’re going to hire you a vocal coach.” Jake commented as he entered the room and I glanced up as the song ended. “You still sound like a female Justin Bieber!”

“There’s a difference between “female Justin Bieber” and regular Justin Bieber?” I asked and Jake shook his head with a laugh. “Then again if I was Justin Bieber, god forbid, I’d have the common sense to not write that Ann Frank would be a Belieber in the guest book at her museum.”

“Can’t believe he actually wrote that, I guess it’s too much to ask for Teen Pop Stars to have common sense.” Jake said as he shook his head. “You don’t see metalheads like us saying that Vercingetorix would’ve been a metalhead!”

“…..did you just use the name of a rebel against Rome for that comparison?” I asked before shaking my head. “Then again you also think that the Romans would be into Symphonic Metal if it existed back then so what do I know?”

“Is it wrong to speculate what kinds of metal the ancient empires would listen too if they were still around today?” Jake asked and I gave him a long, hard look. “Okay, I admit, saying that out loud does make me sound like a weirdo.”

“Yeah, pretty much.” I answered with a grin before finally taking off and putting down my headphones. “At least we got to do to Jeff Hanneman’s memorial celebration last week.”

“Yeah, that was awesome all right! I still can’t believe how many autographs you signed during the event,” Jake responded and I just grinned at him. “Anyway, you’re back on the card which means its back to business with you.”

“Why do you think I’ve been listening to Sanctuary, Testament, Warbringer, Chthonic,  Artillery and pretty much every other band on my ITunes for the past hour?” I asked him and Jake just grinned. “You know as well as I do that metal does help a metalhead relax no matter what the genre.”

“Even though most of the bands you listed are Thrash Metal bands with one Symphonic Black Metal band from Taiwan thrown in for variety?” Jake asked and I just shook my head.

“Hey at least the Black Metal band I listed is one of the few good ones!” I pointed out and Jake nodded in agreement. “Anyway, I know Raynin will be tough but I need to prove that I’m ready to take on any member of Team Erick if I want a chance against Necra in the near future, preferably Into the Void II, and Raynin will provide a perfect opportunity to do just that.”

“And maybe we can cash in on Mark Ward’s bounty whilst we’re at it.” Jake suggested and I grinned at that suggestion. “Well, I’m off to get breakfast, see you downstairs.”

“See you.” I called after him as he left the room and closed the door behind him, once I knew that I had some time to myself I turned to the camera. “I bet Team Erick regret the day they put Karina Koji on the injured list now! I may not know Karina that well she’s still a friend and a fierce fighter so when I saw her go down I decided that I had had enough of Team Erick’s bullshit! That’s the reason why I attacked Amy, defector or not, Joanne and Amy after their match two weeks ago and whilst I do regret the fact that I never got a chance to cash in on the bounties since they were placed on Team Erick’s heads after my attack I sent a clear enough message in my opinion!”

But it wasn’t enough.

“But as you all know I made it clear that I want what I was cheated out of, the SCW Bombshell Roulette Championship currently in the possession of Necra Octavian Kaine and I will fight and claw my way to the top of the rankings for that title if it means me holding that title again and I guess Erick’s realized just how fucking driven I am, why else would he put one half of the SCW Tag Team Champions in my way?”

That move was more predictable than most episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh…..yes I watch that show and the spin-offs and I play the game, shut up!

“Raynin, this is our first match together but there’s no way in hell that I’m underestimating you! I know from watching your matches including your most recent match…..oh, I’m sorry, I mislabeled it, slaughter of Ms. Rocky Mountains and Pussy Willow, I liked both of them so you bet your ass that I’m taking exception to that! But I guess that’s another thing for me to be pissed at Team Erick for!”

And believe me, there’s lots of reasons!

“Ever since I attacked your Team Erick teammates two weeks ago Raynin everyone’s been asking the same question, what lit a fire under Jessie? There are two things really, that recent news appearance I made where that idiot bad-mouthed Slayer the week after Jeff Hanneman’s death and you guys putting Karina on the injured list! Well that and I’m sick of being pushed around, trod on and everything else Team Erick has done to Team SCW since he started his hostile takeover so I’m taking matters into my own hands, starting with the SCW Bombshell Roulette Championship!”

Suddenly the Skid Row song “Youth Gone Wild” seems appropriate, so I unplug my headphones from the laptop and play the song.

“Hear this? This is “Youth Gone Wild” by Skid Row and I guess you could say that it describes how I’m feeling at the moment, that and my current theme song “I Want Out” by Helloween, Raynin I know that you’re going to try to use your power and overpower me but the truth is I can use my speed just as well if not better! I’m not the same girl who you got a chuckle out off when she hijacked the DJ booth on the night of her debut Raynin and if you still think that then you’ll lose the match, plain and simple!”

I went ahead and stopped the song for two reasons; I was getting hungry and its wrap up time!

“Raynin, we’re both former champions and in your case your one half of the Tag Team Champions but I’m a woman on a mission, that mission? Win back the SCW Bombshell Roulette Championship! Who will get in my way! No one! Not even Casey Williams! This is SCW’s Heavy Metal Bombshell Jessie Salco reminding the SCW universe to Make it Metal, keep going wild and Raynin that underestimating me is a bad idea!”

I left the hotel room as the scene fades.
