Tallyn collapses down onto the ground after getting out of the ring and grabs her water bottle. She’d been at this training thing since 7 am and was beginning to feel the pain and the exhaustion set in. Ever since her brother Theo had caught her with the drugs almost a month ago, she’d been clean and more focused on what she came to Las Vegas to actually do with her life. She hadn’t expected to be derailed by a death in her family and hadn’t realized that it had taken such a toll on her. She hated that the drugs had taken over her life and she’d basically lost two months out of her life that she’d never get back.

Now, she had to work much harder to earn the respect back that she’d lost because of her little habit. It had surprised her that she had been so quick to slip into that habit and that she had turned herself onto the drug life with no hesitation at all. She had been so against it when she was growing up because she saw what it did to her mother’s life. But apparently, that didn’t matter. She knew she was at a low point in her life; her baby sister died from a tragic accident and she couldn’t go home to be there for her family right away. So, she found a way to get rid of all that pain. Was it a good way for her to get rid of that emotional pain? Absolutely not. But she wasn’t in the right set of mind and she couldn’t have talked herself out of it even even she wanted to.

She continues to stare up at the ceiling as she breathes heavily from the intense training session before she decides to get up. She didn’t know what she wanted to do for the day but laying in the middle of the ring was not something she wanted to do. Maybe she’d bug Donovan for a while.

TALLYN: “Shower time.”

Nearly forty-five minutes later, Tally found herself walking back into the Saxton hotel or hotel SCW as she preferred to call it. It was basically what it was now and she couldn’t be bothered to call it by its actual name. She thinks about going to her room to relax for a bit before deciding just to go to Donovan’s room instead and maybe bum some ideas off of him for her promo thing she had to shoot later in the week.

She takes her time in going up to the floor that Donovan was staying on, ignoring most of the other stars that were around her. She didn’t know them well enough yet to be mingling with them nor did she try. Being the new girl sucked. She walks down the hallway and stops in front of his door and knocks three times before waiting for him to open the door. When he opens the door, she smiles warmly at him.

TALLYN: “Hi!”

He smiles at her and opens the door for her to walk in, if she were want to. She looks at him and smiles before walking into his room. She wasn’t sure where his sister Delta was but at the moment, she wasn’t too worried about Delta. She sits on the edge of the bed that she knew to be Donovan’s before looking at him.

DONOVAN “Hi yourself.”

He moves and sits down next to her on the bed. She smiles at him before tucking her hair behind her left ear. Things between them were slightly different now because she didn’t have the drugs fueling her odd behavior that had been a few months ago. But she still liked him.

TALLYN: “I thought that maybe you could help me...”

She gives him a shy smile and he raises an eyebrow at her.

DONOVAN: “With what? I wasn’t aware that you needed help. You seem pretty capable in the ring, Tally.”

She chuckles a bit before looking at him with her nose scrunched a little bit. Okay, maybe she liked him a lot.

TALLYN: “No silly, not with that. I already spent enough time at the gym this morning training. I meant with something else!”

He laughs a little before smiling warmly at her. They still seemed comfortable around one another but the air seemed shifted.

DONOVAN: “Tell me what you need help with, Tally. You know I’ll help you do anything.”

And he would, because he was sweet like that. Tallyn liked that about him; she didn’t have to worry about which side of her he got to see because he didn’t judge her for it. Nor did he judge her for her drug habit she’d had.

TALLYN: “I want to go scout some locations on the strip for a promo shoot. But I’d like you to go with me to help narrow it down. The strip has so many options that I don’t know how I’m going to narrow it down by myself.”

He smiles at her before grabbing her hand and then standing up and helping her up to her feet. She smiles at him.

DONOVAN: “Sure, let’s go.”

She loved that he was usually up for anything as long as she didn’t make it seem insanely crazy. And he always made sure to give her solid advice.

TALLYN: “You are literally the best person ever!”

She wraps her arms around him, hugging him. He laughs and hugs her back before they release one another. They leave his hotel room and step out into the hallway and she looks around before pushing her hair out of her face.

DONOVAN: “To you, maybe.”

He winks at her before he takes her hand and they walk back down the hallway to the elevator. He presses the down button and they wait a few minutes before stepping into the empty elevator shaft. She looks at him before wrinkling her nose at him.

TALLYN: “You know...we’ve never made out in an elevator...”

She gives him a sly look and he raises an eyebrow at her with peaked interest. She giggles softly as the doors slowly close, leaving them the only ones in the elevator. She pulls the emergency stop button to give them a second or more to discuss.

DONOVAN: “You’re right, we haven’t...”

He moves closer to her and she watches him with a smile on her pretty face. She leans against the wall as he soon stops in front of her and looks down into her brown eyes.

TALLYN: “Do you want to?”

She asks with a slightly innocent tone to her voice. Consent is sexy people.

DONOVAN: “Only if you do.”

She giggles before nodding her head.

TALLYN: “Of course. Who could resist kissing somebody as hot as you?”

He smirks at her before leaning down just a bit and presses his lips gently against her own, giving her a quick, chaste kiss.

DONOVAN: “Like that or. . .”

He leans back down and kisses her again but this time presses her slightly more into the wall and deepens the kiss just by a little bit. She leans up into the kiss, her hand gripping the sides of his shirt as he slides one hand to the back of her neck as he presses the emergency stop button to resume the elevator’s motion. He continues to kiss her as the elevator keeps moving down to the lobby floor of the hotel and she didn’t seem to notice that the elevator dings and the doors open. Donovan pulls himself from her and smirks at her before pulling her out of the elevator by her hand.

DONOVAN “Or like that?”

She was still trying to gather her thoughts as they walk out of the hotel and out into the hot, Summer air of Las Vegas.

TALLYN: “Definitely the second one. You should kiss me like that more.”

She blushes just slightly as the words spill from her mouth as they head toward the strip, choosing to walk to it.

DONOVAN: “Noted.”</text align=right> </p align=”Right”>

The feed opens up to a shot of the outside of M&M World and then cuts inside to where the big wall of different colors and flavors of M&Ms were. In front of the wall was a stool and on that stool was Tallyn herself, sitting with one leg crossed over the other. She was wearing a pair of super short white shorts and a simple purple and pink tye dye crop top and you could almost see the end of her bra’s cups. She smirks at the camera.

TALLYN “Welcome! Welcome to the Colorful World of Tally.”

She spreads her arms out and keeps the confident smirk on her pretty face as she keeps contact with the camera. She slowly lets out a breath, trying to keep control of her emotion and her focus.

TALLYN “We are just two days away from Sunday’s edition of Climax Control where you will see me step into the ring with one Bea Barnhart.”

She held up two fingers and wiggled them a bit as she kept staring at the camera.

TALLYN “This is the first match that I get to be in and prove myself again. Starting fresh and putting everything behind me and trying my best not to think about the past me. It’s just a shame that it has to be against Bea Barnhart.”

She just makes a face and shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN “I’m not saying that Bea isn’t a good competitor, because I’ll be honest. I haven’t been paying attention. I haven’t paid attention to her or anybody else for that matter lately. I’ve been locking myself in three places and the main one being the gym. I’ve been working on making myself be the best that I can be. And for me to do that, it takes complete dedication.”

She smiles and shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN “I’m sure that you’re a great competitor Bea but this Sunday, you’re not going to be able to rely on your husband for help. You’re going to have to channel everything you have into yourself. You’re going to have to focus on what you can do and not how your husband can help you.”

She pushes her brunette hair out of her face.

TALLYN “Amy I saying that you only rely on your husband to help you win matches? Maybe. But do I know that for sure? Absolutely not. But I’m just going to tell you this now, it’s just me and you on Sunday. And I have a whole hell of a lot more to prove to the higher ups than you do.”

She pauses momentarily to take a breath and slowly let it out.

TALLYN “And so, I’m going to do whatever it is that I have to do to take and steal the win from you. I have to show that I actually want it this time. Because if I don’t? I could fall back into the same pattern as last time.”

She shrugs her shoulders. She was going to be honest with herself.

TALLYN “Look, Sunday will be here before we realize it and I am itching to get into the ring and show everybody just what I can do. And I’m sure you’re just as excited as I am to do so as well. But who the fuck gives a shit if you’re excited? Shouldn’t you be starting your retirement tour?”

Ope, a stab at her age. Let’s go the petty route, Tally. Way to go.

TALLYN “I’m twenty years old. I have my entire future in front of me.  Can you say that about you? I know, I know. Thirty is not that old but it definitely isn’t exactly young for a wrestler either. I’m sure you need to be a little bit more careful in the ring than I do when it comes to competing. One wrong move and you could pull a muscle or break a bone, Bea. And we wouldn’t want that, now would we?”

She makes a pouty face and shakes her head no.

TALLYN “I also have had the very best trainers in the world train me and help me along the way. Can you say that about yourself?”

She raises an eyebrow at the camera.

TALLYN “I’m not saying you’re incompetent in the ring but you weren’t trained by Gabriel and Odette Stevens. Which means, that you’re definitely not what they would consider the top of the line. But maybe one day you can get there. . .”

She lets another smirk spread across her face.

TALLYN “I am going to say that it isn’t going to be Sunday.”

She shakes her head no.

TALLYN “Because on Sunday? It’s going to be my time to take the win and take control of the match. I need this win more than you do, Bea and I’m not going to play nice with you just to make things seem easier. I’m not a fake person and I’m not going to pretend that I give a shit about you.”

She takes a moment to stand up and push the stool away from her.

TALLYN “Because I don’t. You’re just the current roadblock in my way of redeeming myself and taking back what I need to so that I can get to where I need to be. And where I should be. So...sorry not sorry.”

She winks at the camera.

TALLYN “So I guess that I’ve said that all that I need to say. I hope you’ve done the best that you can in training for this Sunday’s match. Because you’re going to need all the help you can get.”

She walks away from the camera but stop and looks over her shoulder at it.

TALLYN “See you soon.”

Tallyn pulls her suitcase behind her as she enters the hallway that would lead her back to her hotel room in the SCW hotel. She knew that she was wrong about the name of the hotel but they might as well change their name to the SCW Hotel, it might make them a little more cash than being whatever it was they called themselves. Not that she could remember it anyways. She grumbles to herself as she pulls her suitcase behind her down the hallway. She wasn’t necessarily excited to be back in Vegas but she was happy to be away from her father and schizo mother.

Her mother had noticed the drug use in her and called her out on it in front of her father and that had not gone well at all for her. She sighs as she unlocks the door to her room and pushes the door open and walks into the room letting the door close shut behind her. She leans back against the door and lets out a breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding. She felt as if she had been holding her breath since she left Las Vegas to go home for a celebration of Tatum’s life. She hadn’t really wanted to go because she felt horrible thinking about how she herself had let Tatum down. But she did it mainly because Theo talked her into it.

Her relationship with Theo was slightly better than it had been a couple of weeks ago but she still didn’t trust him. Not that she had any reason not  to trust him. Theo had been the one staple in her life that had always grounded her and reminded her why she cared for her siblings for so long.

She sighs before putting her thoughts away so she could unpack. She hated living out of a suitcase Nd she needed some normalcy in her life. This living in a hotel was growing old and stale. She collapses on the bed however, deciding not to put her clothes away after all. Instead she lets her mind drink to the previous week.

FLASHBACK TO THE WEEK OF MAY 24TH THROUGH MAY 30TH

She had been in Florida for only two days and things had gone relatively smooth. Her father was being decent to her and Theo was there with her to try to make things go even smoother. She was avoiding Tesla and her mother came and went as she pleased. And Tally tried to ignore her mother. But it was hard. It didn't even seem like her mother even cared that Tatum had died.

TALLYN: "I hate her."

Theo just pats Tally's shoulder and tries to tell her to hush. It was the day of Tatum's life celebration. Tallyn had chosen a black skin tight, short dress and a pair of black stiletto pumps. Tesla had been trying to talk to Tally all day but Tallyn just walked away from her, not wanting to have that conversation. At least not yet.

But it looked like Tesla wanted to corner Tally now. Theo gives Tally a look and discreetly shakes his head, not wanting Tally to lose her mind.

TESLA: "Tally can you please talk to me?"

TALLYN:
"No."

Tesla flinched at the coldness to Tallyn's voice. It had been clipped and just as short as the word was.

TESLA: "Tallyn, please. Can't you just understand how I feel!?"

That seemed to strike one of Tallyn’s nerves and she gives Tesla a look, clenching her jaw.

TALLYN:
"Excuse you?  You want me to understand how you feel?!"

Tesla weekly nods her head and Tallyn lets out a cold hearted laugh.

TALLYN:
"What about Tatum, Tes?! How do you think she felt when she was lying in the fucking street dying because she wasn't important enough to you to pay attention to?!  Did you ever think about her fucking feelings?!"

Tallyn's voice had started out calm and slowly started to rise as she talked.

TALLYN:
"No. You never once considered how she felt because you are a selfish fucking bitch. And you don't care about anybody but yourself. You deserve to feel like fucking shit."

By this time, Tallyn had been shouting and had garnered attention from everybody. She hadn't even realized that she was crying.

TALLYN:
"I loved her, Tesla. I loved you too. I sacrificed my entire life to raise you and Tatum so we could survive!"

Tesla too was crying, feeling every sort of emotion that came with guilt and grief and Tallyn didn't seem to notice. She feels somebody's arm on hers to try to get her to stop and when she whips around, she sees her biological mother, Athena standing there.

ATHENA: "Tallyn, that's enough."

Tallyn's bottom lip wobbles a little bit.

TALLYN:
"And you!"

Tallyn turned her attention away from her crying sister to her mother.

TALLYN:
"Where the fuck were you at?! You were supposed to be our mother! You were supposed to protect us! But you fucking wouldn't. The drugs were clearly more important to you than Tatum's life! You shouldn't even fucking be here! I'll even drive you to your little drug house, if you like. Will that help you clear your conscience, Athena?"

Theo sighs, watching Tallyn unravel as she was forced to come face to face with the tragedy that was Tatum's death. Tallyn takes a few deep, shaky breaths.

WILDER:"ENOUGH!"

Her father's voice boomed over Tallyn's and she looked at her father as well. The tears on her cheeks were fresh and she swore she wouldn't cry again. But she was.

WILDER:"Tallyn, enough. Everybody feels horrible about what happened to Tatum. Nobody wanted her to die. And it was a tragic accident.  There is no need to place blame on anybody."

Tallyn just looks at her father, glaring daggers at him as well. She blamed the three of them; they had all been in Florida and they should've been able to handle an eleven year old.

TALLYN
:
"Fuck this. I'm out. Keep acting like you all cared about Tatum. I don't fucking care."

She spent the next three days at the drug house, high as a kite and doing dirty things with a guy or two from the house. She didn't care until Theo showed up and forced her to leave. She was so numb but Theo didn't scold her or yell at her as he took her home.

He helped her sober up and made her realize that she had to stop. That drugs couldn't be her crutch anymore. She wanted to ignore him but he was right. She couldn't continue down that path of drugs and sex with men she didn't really know or even like just because she didn't care. It was time to grow up and evolve.

END OF FLASHBACK

The scene opens up in front of the Bellagio fountains and Tallyn is sitting on the railing in exactly the middle of the fountains. Her legs were expertly crossed and she was holding onto the sides beside her. She smiles at the camera.

TALLYN:
"Do I expect to win on Sunday?"

She shrugs her shoulders as she maintains her balance as the fountains start to go off behind her.

TALLYN:
"Of course not. I am behind and have been unfocused for a long time. Quarantine has not helped me in any way. My sister dying didn't help me in any shape or form either. It has been one thing after the other that seemed to happen to me and there were just things that mattered more to me than this…"

She wasn't going to lie to the people of SCW. They've noticed her and while, she's only won one of her matches on her own, they had yet to kick her out. So in her book that was a good thing.

TALLYN:
"I owe an apology to the SCW Universe and the staff of SCW. You have not got the best version of me and for that I apologize. You deserved better from me and I didn’t give it to you. You got the version of me that absolutely nobody actually deserved. And for that, I am sorry."

She smiles at the camera.

TALLYN:
"But after Sunday, after I accept my fate I am going to start new. And show you the real version of me. The best version. And to my opponents? Good luck on Sunday. Because you all deserve it more than I do."

She gives the camera an empathetic look.

TALLYN:
"And to the GO Gym, I also owe everybody there an apology as well. I have not been the student that they know that I can be. And after Sunday, when I start new...I promise to make them proud."

She slides down off of the railing.

TALLYN:
"Good luck to everybody else."

She walks off,  not adding anything else.

Tallyn looks in the mirror in her hotel room and fixes one of the curls that had found itself out of place before she leans into the mirror and touches up her mascara. She had managed to convince Donovan into going to the drug house with her, even though she knew that Asher didn’t like her showing up with him. The one time she’d tried, she lost the nerve and took him somewhere else. She checks her outfit out: a simple pair of faux black leather leggings and a white lacey bralette like crop top. It would work to get the attention she wanted. She easily pulls her black stiletto pumps on before grabbing her clutch purse and walks out of her room.

She had this next part of the trip down; she knew exactly where Donovan’s hotel room was and didn’t seem to mind wandering through the hotel to get there. And before she knew it, she was knocking on his door. She only hoped he was ready to go. She knocks again and smiles when the door is opened and Donovan is standing there.

TALLYN: “Hi...do you want to go somewhere with me?”

She looks at him and offers him a polite smile. Returning the smile back at her, Donovan stood there looking at Tallyn like she was a five course meal. Wearing a pair of ripped skinny jeans, Donovan presses his shoulder against the door. His bare top half exposed to the few that may potentially pass down the hallway, For a moment, a smirk befalls Donovan’s face. Reaching out his left hand, he grabs out for Tallyn’s shoulder, rubbing it for a moment.

DONOVAN: “Well, that depends, where are you trying to show me off this time?”

Her eyes move up to his and she offers a faux innocent smile as she looks at him.

TALLYN: "Does it matter? Shouldn't you want to go with me no matter where the destination is?"

She holds a mischievous glint in her eyes as she looks at him. While her face and demeanor oozed confidence, she was actually slightly nervous as she had no inclination about what his feelings on drugs were. Would he be disgusted with her? Judgemental? Be done with her? She wasn't sure.

TALLYN: "I mean...have I ever lead you somewhere you didn't want to be?"

A smile came across Donovan’s face. He looked down at Tallyn, she seemed so innocent. After a moment, he looked her up and down, then he quickly shrugged his shoulders. Taking a step back, he threw on his white v-neck shirt. Pulling it down over his torso.

DONOVAN: “I mean you’ve led me to some interesting places, including your hotel room. I guess you could say you haven’t led me anywhere I wouldn’t have some fun. I just want to be absolutely sure that it’s some place that we can still have fun.”

She felt the nervousness increase just slightly as he mentions fun. Was her sort of fun different than his? She wasn't sure but she was going to find out.

TALLYN: "Trust me, you'll have more fun with me than you will with Bennyboy."

She winks at him as she waits patiently for him to be ready to leave his hotel room. She gives him a happy smile before leading him to the elevator and then presses the down button.

TALLYN: "You'll love it...I promise."

They step into the elevator and she presses the lobby button before looking at him.  She smiles as they wait patiently for the elevator to arrive at the lobby. Once the doors open, Tally grabs his hand and tugs him out of the elevator and with her free hand, she calls for an Uber on her phone.

TALLYN: "Just don't judge me, okay?"

Donovan nudges Tallyn gently with his shoulder. Looking down at the beautiful woman that held his hand, he couldn’t help but to continue to smile a bit.

DONOVAN: “Why would I judge you? I grew up within earshot of the Kardashians. Trust me, I don’t really have room to judge anyone. Definitely not someone as sexy as you.”

Her cheeks flush a light pink color as he calls her sexy and she just gives him a wink as they walk out of the lobby of the hotel to await their Uber. She tries to stand still and not fidget with her hands or fingers as they wait.

TALLYN: "You might be surprised…”

She looks at him and gives him a smile before their driver pulls up to the hotel. She checks the code and all that before they get in the back seat. She tells him the address of the drug house where Asher took up residence and then leans back.

TALLYN: "I wanna see how surprised you get…"

Donovan sits back in the seat, and then turns his attention to Tallyn. He cocked his head slightly to the side before he placed his right hand onto her leg.

DONOVAN: “Tally, seriously, why would you think I’d be surprised? I mean with this whole pandemic, I doubt it’s anything grandiose. Sweets, I don’t know what could possibly surprise me. However, if this is you going try on some lingerie, color me intrigued.”

She looks at him and gives him a half smile. If only it was that simple. She was trying not to second guess her choice in taking him to this place with her. Because if he didn’t like what she was about to do, she might just screw everything up for her that was going good with him.

TALLYN: “Which color would you like me to color you? I’m partial to purple.”

She winks at him before scooting over and leaning into him just a little bit as the Uber driver doesn’t even bother making small talk with them.

TALLYN: “Although, you’d be very cute painted a lime green color.”

She winks at him before leaning up and kissing his cheek before sitting back up straight in her spot. The drive didn’t take them that long and before either of them knew it, they were pulling up in front of what appeared to be a run down house. She hands the Uber driver the fare in cash plus a generous tip before she gets out of the car. She stares at the house before looking over at Donovan and gives him a smile before sliding her hand into his and lacing her fingers with his before tugging him toward the house.

TALLYN: “C’mon...don’t be scared. We won’t be here too long…”

Or at least she hoped. Standing outside of the home, Donovan couldn’t help the quizzical expression on his face. After surveying his surroundings for a moment, he turns to Tallyn.

DONOVAN: “Well, this place looks homey. What are we doing here?”

The slightly panicked look passes her face as she looks at him. It was clear that he didn’t understand that this was a drug house. And why should he? It wasn’t like normal parents went to these and she’d only known about them because her mother had been the one to frequent them in Florida.

TALLYN: “Um . . . if you don’t want to come inside, it’s fine. It will only take me a few minutes or so…”

She didn’t want to pressure him into going inside if he didn’t want to. She understood that this was not exactly something she should be doing anyways. But she couldn’t shake it off at the moment. Almost instantaneously, Donovan understood where he was. In all his years, this was the first time he’d actually been in this type of situation. Looking at Tallyn intently, he holds onto her right hand.

DONOVAN: “I’m not going to just let you go in there alone. I didn’t put two and two together, but shouldn’t you have people that get this type of stuff for you? Isn’t it kind of dangerous to do it yourself? I never have.”

She blushes a little before looking up at him, her eyes looking into his.

TALLYN: “I….go here a lot. And no, it’s not too scary. I’m used to places like these.”

Her eyes move back to the house as she looks over it before looking over at Donovan. She then looks down at her right hand and smiles before looking at him again.

TALLYN: “It’s not that big of a deal.”

Looking down at Tallyn for a moment, he can only shake his head.

DONOVAN: “It’s totally a big deal, drug dealers can be dangerous. That’s why I learned when I was seventeen, get daddy’s driver to get it for me. You’re never in danger, and you can always get another driver if things go south.”

Letting out a soft laugh to lighten the mood of the conversation, Donovan unclasps Tallyn’s hand.

DONOVAN: “Come on, I’m not going to let you go in alone. Plus, I guess I should let you pop my drug den cherry.”

She chuckles a little bit to herself and shakes her head at him. He was being very chill about the whole ordeal and that seemed to help her calm her nerves a tad.

TALLYN: "I've never been scared of a drug dealer before. . .and plus, this guy is my friend."

She gives him a smile before grabbing his hand and tugging him toward the front door of the house.

TALLYN: "And not all of us had Daddy's driver to do our evil bidding sir."

Donovan let out a soft laugh as they made their way to the front door. Shrugging his shoulders, he made sure to make eye-contact with Tallyn.

DONOVAN: “You didn’t need to have a driver per se, all you needed was that cool aunt or cousin. Look, I have to make fun of you for this just a little bit. You should have just told me you wanted to go score some… what are we here for anyway?”

She shrugs her shoulders as they make it to the front door. She looks at him before winking.

TALLYN: "Well, usually I take whatever Asher offers me. Mainly LSD, ecstasy, acid...stuff like that. I've been too scared to try cocaine or heroin."

She admits out loud to him before she opens the door and walks inside. She smiles at some of the people that were inside as she looks for Asher, keeping Donovan close behind her.

TALLYN: "Don't act scared; they can smell your fear."

It doesn't take her long before she finds Asher. He smiles before seeing Donovan behind her. His smile falls a little before he nods at Donovan.

ASHER: "So I take it you have money this time?"

She nods her head as she reaches into her bralette top and hands him a wad of cash. The look of irritation is on his face but he sighs and hands her a few different baggies.

ASHER: "Next time, I would like the usual form of payment."

She rolls her eyes but her cheeks flush pink. Asher's attention turns to Donovan.

ASHER: "You want anything?"

Tally frowns before looking at Donovan and then at Asher.

TALLYN: "I'm going to share with him,  Ash."

Donovan crossed his arms over his chest, a stoic expression adorned his face. He obviously was not a fan of the situation that he was currently in, but there was nothing he could do about it.

DONOVAN: “Thanks for the offer bro, I’m good. I’m sure whatever she has, much like everything she does, is more than satisfying.”

Asher holds a smirk on his face as he just shrugs his shoulders before looking down at Tally's tiny stature. His eyes move over her body and she rolls her eyes.

ASHER: "You don't need to tell me something that I already know."

She didn't want to stick around for the proverbial passing match. She flashes Asher a smile and grabs Donovan’s hand.

TALLYN: "Thanks, Ash. I'll catch you later."

She doesn't give him the chance to respond before pulling Donovan out of the house. She wasn't scared of small spaces but she felt as if the house was suddenly too small.

TALLYN: "Should we go back to the hotel? Or go hit up a grocery store for refreshments?"

The expression on Donovan’s face could tell a story on it’s own. He looked down at Tallyn for a moment, but quickly averted his eyes to the sky.

DONOVAN: “Whatever you want, up to you completely.”

He then looked down at the ground as the two continued to walk away from the home. She bites her bottom lip as they walk away from the drug house. She grabs his hand, stopping him.

TALLYN: "Are you upset?"

She looks up into his eyes.

TALLYN: "Be honest with me…"

Donovan looked at Tallyn for a moment, and sighed. Closing his eyes for a moment, he took time to think about the situation. Opening his eyes, he looked at Tallyn intently.

DONOVAN: “I’m upset that you apparently  fuck someone for drugs. That’s something that you shouldn’t have to do, I have no right to be upset about you sleeping with someone else, but you shouldn’t have to do that for drugs.”

She bites her bottom lip as she looks up at him before looking down at her feet for a moment.

TALLYN: "I don't have to…"

She admits softly before peeking at him.

TALLYN: "Sometimes, it is easier than giving money. And I have not done that for a really long time. I swear!"

Donovan grabs onto her hand and holds it tightly. He then takes his free hand and caresses her cheek. A smile comes over Donovan’s face before letting out a soft chuckle.

DONOVAN: “Just promise me that it won’t happen again. I know we aren’t anything serious, but I don’t want you giving that smug asshole anymore power over you than he already has.”

She gives him a look as he caresses her cheek.

TALLYN: "He isn't an asshole. He just apparently felt threatened with you there."

She wrinkles her nose at him.

TALLYN: "But I will try."

Donovan grabs onto his phone, looking down at it for a moment, he lets out a soft laugh.

DONOVAN: “Good, I like being threatening. Now, did you decide on what you want to do next?”

She shrugs her shoulders as she shoves the drugs into her top and between her chest.

TALLYN: "Let's go raid the nearest gas station. Get all the junk food and all that."

She winks at him before tugging him in the direction of the nearest Seven Eleven. As the two begin their walk towards the gas station, Donovan laughs to himself for a moment.

DONOVAN: “Can I admit something to you? I mean, without being judged for what I say, because it’s pretty fucking stupid.”

She gives him a look and looks around as they seemed to be one of the few people that were actually out and about in Las Vegas.

TALLYN: “Sure...I mean, I did just drag you to a drug house...I think you can say whatever you’d like and I would have absolutely NO room to judge you.”

Donovan let out another soft laugh. He stopped in his tracks, and turned to face Tallyn directly. Taking a deep breath, he looked her straight in her beautiful eyes.

DONOVAN: “I have no idea how I managed to make it so many years without doing it, but I’ve never had a slurpee. I know it’s like a junk food drink staple, but I’ve never had one. I guess since I’ve never been to a drug house, I should also have my first slurpee today.”

She wrinkles her nose at him before giggling a little bit.

TALLYN: “Well, we can deem this the night of firsts then! Let’s go get you your first slurpee!”

She tugs him in the direction of the gas station, eager to get there so he can experience a seven eleven slurpee. As the two continue to walk, Donovan looks up at the sky.

DONOVAN: “I have a question, and I don’t want you to get upset with it.”

She freezes a little bit, that uneasy feeling starting to slip into her stomach. She glances at him before smiling warmly at him.

TALLYN: “Ask away…”

Looking down at the pavement, he continues to walk. He doesn’t look up at her, but he begins to speak anyway.

DONOVAN: “Why do you do drugs, like what’s your rationale?”

She walked alongside him until she heard the question slip from his lips and then she stops, frozen in place. She hadn’t ever thought about explaining to other people why. She didn’t want to go into the whole sister dying ordeal.

TALLYN: “Why not? I mean, what do I have to lose?”

It was a weak attempt to get him to not try to focus on the real reason. Donovan takes Tallyn by the hands, and looks down at her. Though he was not sure, he could tell that her non-answer was just that.

DONOVAN: “Look, I know there’s more to it than that, but I’m not going to make you talk about something you don’t want to. I was just really curious. We all have our own vices doll.”

She smiles at him, a bit grateful that he wasn’t making her get into it. It would only send her into a downward spiral and she was trying hard not to think about it.

TALLYN: “Thank you.”

She says quietly as she looks up at him and wrinkles her nose at him.

TALLYN: “I appreciate it.”

As the two arrive at the Seven-Eleven, Donovan looks down at Tallyn with a smile.

DONOVAN: “Don’t mention it, I just want you to be okay. I… um… kind of like you Tallyn. I just want you to be okay. Whether it be in life or professionally, I want you to be good.”

She blushes a little bit at his small confession and she winks at him. She leans up and kisses his cheek before pulling the door open to go inside.

TALLYN: “I’ll be fine.”

She winks at him as they walk into the convenience store.

TALLYN: “And for the record? I like you too.”

As the two walk into the convenience store, Donovan grins from ear to ear. Surveying the store, he walks over to his favorite, M&Ms. Grabbing four bags of different varieties, he walks back over towards Tallyn.

DONOVAN: “Don’t judge me, but if I don’t have a bag of M&Ms a day, I’m like a completely different person.”

She giggles as she looks at the four bags of candy coated chocolates and shakes her head. She holds her hands up as she finds nothing wrong with it. She walks over to the candy aisle and grabs a bag of the Trolli sour gummy worms, sour sweettart gummies, and a thing of strawberry licorice.

TALLYN: “I get it. We each have our own devices.”

She winks at him before walking over to the chip aisle and grabs a bag of cool ranch Doritos, a bag of Funyuns, Ruffles Cheddar and Sour Cream chips, and a few other varieties before looking at him.

TALLYN: “We said we were going to load up on junk…”

Grabbing a bag of Barbecue flavored Lays, he looks at the sheer amount of calories that she was carrying. With a smile on his face.

DONOVAN: “Jesus girl, you’re going to make my ass fat eating with you.”

She rolls her eyes.

TALLYN: "Oh calm down. Your ass is going to be fine."

She didn't seem worried about the calories at all as she moves to the refrigerators and grabs several flavors of soda. Cherry Dr. Pepper, Cherry Coke, Cherry Pepsi, Code Red mountain dew, regular mountain dew, and whatever else she could fit in her hands.

TALLYN: "The drugs help."

Letting out a soft laugh, he walks over to Tallyn and takes some of the items out of her hands.

DONOVAN: “I don’t really know if I’m going to partake, I gotta make sure I’m still in good physical standing, or Bentley is going to kill me.“

She rolls her eyes.

TALLYN: "Bentley is a fun hater. He needs to loosen up."

She winks at him as they walk to the slurpee machines. She looks at him and smiles.

TALLYN: "Or get laid."

As Donovan places the items in his hands down on the counter, he chuckles at Tallyn’s remarks. As he grabs a cup, he begins to fill it with the slurpee, before looking over at her with a smile.

DONOVAN: “I don’t think he needs to do anymore of that. He just needs to lighten up, he’s always so damn serious. “

She giggles a little as she fills her slurpee cup with blue raspberry and cherry flavored stuff. She smiles at him as she grabs a lid and puts it on before grabbing a straw.

TALLYN: "I'll find him a girlfriend. What's his type?"

Looking down at the cup he just filled, he placed the lid onto it. After placing the straw into it, he looks up at Tallyn with a smile.

DONOVAN: “Look, as long as she’s fit and is biologically a woman, she’d work. Bentley isn’t particularly picky.”

Tally raises an eyebrow as they move toward the counter to pay for all the junk food.

TALLYN: "I think he said something about blonde and boobs once. But I am not sure; I tune him out a lot."

She winks at him.

TALLYN: "Or just didn't care.."

Placing his stuff onto the counter, he lightly nudges Tallyn out of the way. He then presents a hundred dollar bill to the cashier, and turns to her with a smile.

DONOVAN: “To be honest, I don’t really listen to anything that he says. I mean I love him to death, but he’s kind of a bummer sometimes.”

She frowns momentarily as he pushes her out of the way so that he can pay for their junk food binges.

TALLYN: "He needs a girlfriend. Or something better than his hand."

She smiles at the cashier as they bag up all of the drinks and junk food. Tally uses her phone to hail for an uber.

TALLYN: "I'll do some searching for him. Out of the kindness of my super heart."

Grabbing onto the bag, Donovan takes hold to it. He smiles at Tallyn for a moment, before he begins to back away from the counter.

DONOVAN: “Well, that’s definitely sweet of you. It’s been a really long time since he’s dated. It would probably be good to have a consistent female presence in his life.”

Tallyn just smiles at the cashier before they walk out of the convenience store to wait for the Uber to pick them up.

TALLYN: “And so he can get a life.”

She smiles at Donovan and then smiles when the car pulls up. She makes sure that it is the car that is actually supposed to pick them up before they slide into the backseat and rattle off the address of the hotel.

TALLYN: “You know, he’s been radio silent lately…”

As Donovan enters the car, he thinks about what Bentley has been up to .

DONOVAN: “He’s not really one for speaking to begin with. We had breakfast this morning, he wasn’t getting on to much today. He misses his other best friend dearly, it sucks not having open gyms.”

Tallyn just smiles at him before leaning back in the car and then looking out the window as the car begins to drive them back to the hotel. She didn’t know what else to say.

TALLYN: “He’s a mood killer. Let’s not talk about him.”

She glances up at the Uber driver who pays them no attention as per usual. She didn’t think about much else as she pulls something up on her phone. She skims over it with her eyes before shrugging her shoulders and putting the phone away. The only things she wanted to focus on for the night were the drugs and Donovan and his body.</text align=right> </p align=”Right”>

The strip was bare but that didn’t seem to bother Tally as she ran down the side that was home to the casinos of New York New York, Aria, Bellagio, and Caesars. She had started off running down the strip toward Circus Circus but got to the Cosmopolitan and decided that she needed to take a break and walk for a while due to the heat. She knew that even though she was less than thrilled to be facing the resident nutcase, she still had to stay in shape so that she didn’t look winded in the ring. But she still felt though as if nobody actually gave a shit whether she showed up or not.

It was hard not to feel so down about her career. It was nothing that she thought that it was going to be and she hadn’t been successful at all and she was almost always successful at everything she tried her hand at. But this? This proved to be a struggle.

TALLYN: “Shit! Sorry”

She hadn’t been watching where she had been going and had run into this blonde haired woman. The blonde just smiles at Tally and shakes it off.

BLONDE: “It’s okay….you look a little...off?”

Tally looks at the blonde and offers her a smile. She’d been lost in her own world and had been focused on all the things that she needed to check off her list for the week. She needed to spend at least an hour or so at the gym each morning and probably more if she was being honest with herself.

TALLYN: “Oh.  Right, really focused.”

The blonde just smiles at Tally but Tally just looks at her and offers her a smile as well. They were in front of the Bellagio fountains, which were abnormally still due to the pandemic.

BLONDE: “It’s alright. I’m fine.”

The blonde looks Tally over before noticing the GO gym logo on the brunette’s crop top. The logo seemed familiar to her and she thinks for a moment, trying to remember where she remembered it before it clicks in her head.

BLONDE: “You’re a SCW Bombshell, aren’t you?”

Tally frowns before giving the blonde a side look as if she wasn’t sure if she wanted to admit to being that to some girl that she just ran into.

TALLYN: “...Maybe…”

The blonde chuckles before tucking her hair behind her ear and then holding her hand out before retracting it, remembering the social distancing rules.

BLONDE: “I’m Calia. I used to work for them before I decided that wrestling was not my thing and more of my ex boyfriend’s thing.”

Tally smiles as she moves to lean against the railing of the fountains as she looks at Calia.

TALLYN: “I’m Tallyn, but you can call me Tally. I’m new to the whole scene and I’m struggling to find my place, really. And starting to second guess my own choice on being in the industry.”

She didn’t really understand why she was telling a complete stranger this when she wouldn’t even really tell Donovan about her problems. Was it easier to talk to a stranger? Maybe. Or maybe it was that she felt some sort of kinship with Calia. Calia had admitted to giving up on the wrestling dream.

CALIA:“It’s a little intimidating; a lot of people there are close knit and it’s hard to be a new person in an already established company. Or that’s how I felt. I felt like an outside looking in but was just supposed to accept that. I peaced right out of there because I realized it wasn’t my dream to become a wrestler but it had been my ex boyfriend’s dream. He had an idea of him and I being a power couple and all that. I just wasn’t into it. It didn’t help that he was manipulative and liked to guilt trip me. All the time.”

Calia hadn’t seemed to mind opening up to Tally and Tally took notice of that. She offers Calia a smile before she hops up onto the railing to sit.

TALLYN: “Right? Sometimes I get that feeling that I’m just supposed to show up, do my match, and go back to my hotel room and not bother the real stars of the show.”

She kind of felt a little more at ease when she realizes that somebody else was also feeling the same way that she was about the whole, ‘being apart of SCW’ and being an outsider. She didn’t feel like she was going anywhere and that she was just being used as a guinea pig or as a jobber so that people could get easy wins. And a part of her wanted to walk.

CALIA:“But...you should stick it out. Show them that a newbie can take the company by storm. I almost wish that I would have stuck it out but it’s hard when you realize it was never your dream.”

Tally smiles as she looks at Calia, a friendship of sorts starting to form. She needed a good friend that was a girl and could see her and Calia getting on well.

TALLYN: “I’m trying to stick it out. Some days it is harder than others and they just placed me in a match against Christina Rose. Or at least, that’s the name that I think she’s going with. She changes it more often than I change clothes.”

Calia chuckles before looking around the strip. It was pretty much bare and they had the space they were in to themselves.

CALIA:“Yeah, I am pretty sure that she was doing that when I was there too. It’s her thing. But I think she’s trying to change or when I log into my Twitter, I get the gist of that from her tweets.”

Tally shrugs her shoulders as she looks at Calia. She didn’t know; she didn’t pay much attention to her Twitter account unless she was antagonizing Bentley or flirting with Donovan. Nobody really paid attention to her other than Donovan anyways, so what was the point?

TALLYN: “I would assume so. I mean, she’s always looking for attention and sticking her nose in other people’s business, like she’s important.”

It wasn’t said in disgust or whatever but just how she saw it. Calia shrugs her shoulders and looks at the brunette, who was content to sit on the pillar thing outside of the Bellagio.

CALIA:“I mean, she is a former SCW Bombshell Champion, she has to have some credibility there. Or she wouldn’t have been the person on top of the Bombshell division, right?”

Tally shrugs her shoulders but could definitely see where Calia was coming from.

TALLYN: “I guess so. But I see more tweets from other Bombshells who don’t seem to take her as much of a threat. Or find her annoying. Or at least, that’s how I see it. They often try to discredit her title reigns as well.”

Tally tried not to be on Twitter very much because sometimes it was like following the rabbit down the rabbit hole. You almost never knew where you were going to end up.

CALIA:“Yeah, but you can’t really discredit her. While she might be a little mentally unstable, she is good in the ring. Her history in SCW will tell you that.”

Tally nods her head. She definitely couldn’t think of Christina as another easy competitor because she wasn’t one. While Christina might not have been a good person or a mentally sane one, she was good in the ring. She knew how to work a match.

TALLYN: “You’re right there. And I think she’s good in the ring but it’s her mouth that gets her in trouble. Or her thumbs when she’s sending a tweet out. Either way, a lot of the things that she says makes her ring work look like it doesn’t matter. And it sucks because it shouldn’t be that way but yet, it is. It’s 2020, it’s how the world works now.”

Tally slides down off of the pillar and smiles at Calia.

TALLYN: “Walk with me and we can continue to talk about how we should be best friends now.”

Calia chuckles but doesn’t seem to disagree with her as they head in the direction of Caesars Palace. Tallyn wished that the casinos were open and that the strip was open so that she could enjoy the city like she was supposed to. But she supposed, going for runs and walks would be sufficient for the time being.

CALIA:“Alright, I don’t have to work right now so, I have a lot of free time. Tell me a little more about what’s going on in SCW…”

TALLYN: “Ben Jordan is the Heavyweight Champion now. Andrea Hernandez is the Bombshell Champion. And they don’t have a women’s or men’s tag team division but a mixed tag division. It seems to be working alright if you can find a partner that you can stand long enough to tag with.”

Tallyn didn’t think she could tag with anybody else after Blast From the Past. It wasn’t that she didn’t have a good partner, because she did. But she was just getting used to singles competition even though she has yet to find her own path in the division and has yet to get herself her a win. She was hoping that she could upset Christina Rose on Sunday but she wasn’t holding her breath.

CALIA:“That’s a change.”

Tally nods her head as they walk and head toward the walkway to cross the street from Bellagio to Caesars.

TALLYN: “Yep. Kris Ryans has returned, Mikah’s made herself Mark Ward’s unofficial official personal assistant. There’s a lot of other drama going on. Apparently Bombshells and Superstars are jumping beds since they’re locked up in the hotel. This pandemic has changed everybody’s way of life. Obviously have to find better ways to entertain one’s self while in Quarantine. But I suspect things are about to change since the country is slowly starting to open up again.”

Tally didn’t know how she was supposed to feel about that, either. She could see both points and she didn’t want to live in fear of the virus but she didn’t want to add to the deaths either if it could really be preventable.

CALIA:“This has been a crazy couple of months, I’ll agree with you there.”

Tally nods her head as they walk together.

TALLYN: “I would have never imagined that I would live in a time where the world has basically been shut down. It’s crazy. And to see the Strip this bare? It’s insane.”

Calia nods her head, agreeing with the younger girl.

CALIA:“Yeah, it’s insane. I don’t miss the people that were always on the strip in the costumes. That is actually a nice change of pace to not get pestered for a picture to give them money.”

Tally laughs before nodding her head as she knew exactly what Calia had been talking about. The people that dressed in the Marvel costumes or the Disney costumes that wandered the strips hoping for money were sometimes frustrating but they didn’t bother Tally too much.

TALLYN: “It is nicer but they also have to make money too.”

Calia just shrugs her shoulders as they keep moving, barely passing many people as they walk the strip. It was an eerie feeling doing so as it was pretty much bare compared to the packed feeling that it usually was. Tally was ready for a feeling of normalcy.

TALLYN: “But I will be ready for a sense of normalcy.  The hotel is starting to grow boring and I need my mind to be enriched. There’s only x amount of ways for one to film their promo before it grows boring and repetitive. Some normalcy might be nice.”

She didn’t want to talk about how her sister was dead and how she was still ignoring her other sister and trying to ignore her brother. Her life was a hot mess at best.</text align=right> </p align=”Right”>

ONCAMERA

-

The scene opens up to what appears to look like a cafeteria set in a high school with lunch tables and chairs set about. The camera zooms in a little as Tallyn moves on screen dressed in a hot pink mini dress with skinny straps and pale pink stiletto heels on her feet. She smirks at the camera before sitting on top of one of the tables with her feet on the chair. She carefully and maybe a little seductively crosses one leg over the other.

TALLYN: “Raise your hand if you’ve ever been personally victimized by Christina Rose?”

She knew there was nobody around her because of social distancing and there wasn’t a way to make her idea work with it so, she pretended that there was people around her.

TALLYN: “Did you ever wonder why Christina’s hair color changes so frequently?”

Her eyes look at the camera, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips.

TALLYN: “Because she can’t keep up with which personality she’s supposed to be keeping up with on any given day.”

It was a running joke by now that Christina Rose is unstable. And it wasn’t news to Tally that she was able to switch personalities on the drop of a dime.

TALLYN: “Christina, stop trying to make crazy happen. It’s just not going to happen.”

She smirks before shaking her head and leaning forward just slightly.

TALLYN: “Now that I’ve gotten that out of my system, let’s get down to busines…”

She hesitates for a moment.

TALLYN: “And no, not to defeat the huns. Unless you’re one of them? No, okay then. But let’s talk about how this match is billed on the card, Chrissy. Can I call you Chrissy? Great, thanks.”

She winks at the camera as she grabs her phone that had been placed inconspicuously on the table behind her. She thumbs through a few things before bringing up the card.

TALLYN: “It says that you were unsuccessful in your bid to reclaim the Bombshell Championship from Andrea...blah, blah blah….You’re a record setter, yada yada yada ya…”

She skims over some of the things before frowning.

TALLYN: “I mean, it’s nice that they’re trying to make me sound better than I am. Let’s be real, I have only won one match here. I pretty much suck but it’s fine, it’s cool. It’s whatever. Nobody really gives a shit about me. Everybody knows that this match was booked to boost your ego a little more, Chrissy. To give you that sense of security that you don’t have anymore and they offered me to you as an easy win for you to keep you complacent in your career. Basically so that you don’t walk out and throw a hissy fit. Or change personalities again.”

She shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN: “I get it, I’m just a pawn in their game to keep you sane. But it shouldn’t be their job to keep you sane, should it? Shouldn’t it be your job to make sure that you take your crazy pills?”

She knew that that was probably a slap in the face to the people who actually had to take medicine for mental health problems.

TALLYN: “I’m sure that you believe that you have this match in the bag and if I was sitting in your seat, I’d probably be feeling the same way. I’m not Mikah; I don’t have your number when it comes to competing in the six sided ring. Oh and trust me, she has your number, Christina. Even after she had a baby.”

She smirks again.

TALLYN: “But you’re not facing Mikah on Sunday, Chrissy. You’re facing me. And while I’d like to say that that is a privilege to you, my track record states otherwise. It’s nothing special and I’m just somebody that they thought you’d run over to boost your ego up just a little bit. But how does beating me boost your ego? I’m a nobody, a nothing on the horizon of SCW. I’ve done nothing impressive in my career but lose matches to interchangeable women, which also says a lot about me.”

She laughs before shaking her head.

TALLYN: “I probably shouldn’t be talking about myself that way, should I? I mean, shouldn’t I be talking myself up and stating how I’m going to beat you because I’m so much better than you?”

She just sits there in silence for about a minute.

TALLYN: “But my personal win loss record states other wise compared to yours. Basically, this match should be a walk in the park for you. It should be an easy win. You should be walking into the ring on Sunday with that ugly fucking confident smirk on your face, thinking you have the win in the bag. Because to you? I’m absolutely fucking nothing. I’m a disgrace and not impressive at all on paper.”

She shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN: “But you know what I am, Christina?”

She looks into the camera again, looking straight into the lens as if she was looking at Christina Rose.

TALLYN: “Sane. Not crazy. Intelligent. While you’re debating on who you want to be, I already know who I am. I know my name and where I came from and I definitely don’t need to create a new identity to be okay with my life. I’m Tallyn Arielle Paxton and that’s fine by me. And I get that we all have our own demons, but you’ve played this game a little too long.”

She sets her phone down and looks at the camera again.

TALLYN: “Do you know how many people think you’re a joke?”

Again, she pauses for dramatic effect.

TALLYN: “The limit does not exist.”

Another smirk tugs on her lips.

TALLYN: “Yes, you’re a four time Bombshell Champion and a Hall of Famer. And yes, you deserve respect for that because you have set the pace for what a Bombshell should aspire to be. But you’re also kind of flaky. And not the good kind of flaky. You’re not frosted flakes.”

She giggles a bit.

TALLYN: “But this match? It’s more than you changing your name or hair color because go ahead and look like a smurf or a minion, I really don’t give a fuck. You can call yourself Stitch for all I fucking care. You want me to care about a match that was booked for you to win? Sorry but my give a damn’s a little busted.”

She shakes her head.

TALLYN: “I’m apparently the Bombshell they want to use to book against the decrepit old Bombshells that need a little ego boost for an easy win. Last time? I lost to Sam fucking Marlowe. And sure, I should be honored to have been booked against her. But fuck that bullshit. Why do I get to be the one to face the old, decrepit, uninteresting Bombshells? Just because you all fucking suck now and have no relevacy anywhere else in the company does not mean that I should be the one thrown under the fucking proverbial bus.”

She moves and carefully stands up on the table.

TALLYN: “I deserve better than Sam fucking Marlow and you, Christina. I deserve to be given a real shot at something worthwhile rather than being booked against the reptiles of SCW. I get it, they need an ego boost every now and then. And that they need an easy win thrown their way because they can’t fucking hack it anymore. But to be booked against you as just an easy win is a slap in the fucking face.”

She walks along the table tops, carefully moving from table to table.

TALLYN: “Nobody in the locker rooms thinks that I’m going to walk out of the arena with a win. To them, it’s not going to happen. Because I’m nothing on the wheel that keeps turning but fuck them too.”

She sits back down on the end of one of the tables, crossing one leg over the other.

TALLYN: “This nice girl bullshit act you got going on right now is annoying. It’s almost worse than the crazy girl act. You’re not a nice girl, Christina. And fucking nobody believes this whole act that you want to change and redeem yourself. This is NOT your road to redemption and I’m not just going to be an easy win for you. You want me to walk out there on Sunday and just lie down in the middle of the ring for you? Would that be more beneficial to you for your story? Because fuck you if that’s what you think of me. You don’t get to make rash judgements on me. A person who fakes a personality disorder gets to make no judgements about anybody. Ever.

She rolls her eyes and takes a deep breath and slowly lets it out.

TALLYN: “This isn’t Twitter, I’m not trying to start a fight. I don’t even give a fuck about Twitter because Twitter isn’t going to win me a match. Posting what I’m doing on Twitter is only going to benefit my opponent, not myself. Do I think that anybody needs to know what I’m doing at any given moment during the day? Nope. I don’t think anybody needs to know when I’m at the gym, working out and practicing my skills in the ring. That is none of anybody’s business but my own. Twitter holds no merritt in a match. So this is all I’m going to say about Twitter.”

Tally slides down from the table and looks at the camera, a smirk tugging on her lips again.

TALLYN: “I still don’t give a shit about this match. Because facing you is supposed to be an easy win for you. And yes, I could try to impress people by saying that I’m going to try my best and try my hardest to beat you.”

She tried to make her voice sound peppy and cheerleader-y.

TALLYN: “But you know what? I don’t need to impress anybody. Because I already know that I can beat you. Do I think I’m better than you?”

She tilts her head to the side.

TALLYN: “Not at the moment. But do I think that I could be better than you?”

She smirks again.

TALLYN: “Definitely. That’s obviously a no brainer. Look where I trained and I’m still at the beginning of my career and you’re trying your hardest to hang onto whatever is left of your career. Because what else is there for you if you’re done competing? What else do you have left to live for?”

Tally raises her eyebrows and shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN: “I’m going to go out on a limb and say that there wouldn’t be much for you to live for if you weren’t here being the chlamydia of SCW.”

She walks towards the exit of the room but stops again, that same old smirk playing on her lips.

TALLYN: “I wonder when the staff will take the medicine that will cleanse the locker room from your disease, Christina. Because it’s getting really bad back there.”

She winks at the camera.

TALLYN: “I’m fucking done being a pawn for people. Or an ego boost for the reptiles of SCW. It’s about time I get taken seriously and no matter what the description of the card on the website says, I am not looking forward to facing you, Christina. I am, however looking forward to shutting you the fuck up. And getting out of the ring with a win.”

She hesitates for a moment.

TALLYN: “Maybe if I beat you on Sunday, this will show everybody just how serious I should be taken. And that you shouldn’t be taken seriously at all. Maybe you’ll be the laughing stock when the night ends. Who knows.”

She holds a sinister look in her eyes for a moment.

TALLYN: “Crazier things have happened.”

She says nothing else as she leaves the room as the camera fades to black, leaving those to be her last words.

Tallyn lies in her hotel bed, staring up at the ceiling in her hotel room. The day had been utterly exhausting. She had spent six hours in the morning running and at the GO gym to try to prepare herself for Sunday’s match against Sam Marlowe but now, she couldn’t even talk herself into getting up to go wonder through the hotel. As if even that was an experience of sorts anyways; she knew most every nook and cranny of the place and was beginning to grow even more bored with the quarantine lifestyle.

She thought about messaging Donovan to see if he wanted to do something but even that, at the moment, didn’t sound like it would consist of anything but sex and drinking. Not that she was opposed to that because that was hardly the case when it came to Donovan and herself. She just felt blah.

She jumps when her phone begins to ring and she looks at it to see that it was a video call request coming in from her sister Tesla. She had been avoiding the younger girl’s calls and messages ever since Tatum had died from the car accident. But she supposed that it had been nearly a month since Tatum had passed away, and felt that she couldn’t avoid Tesla for forever, so she presses the button to accept the video call request.

TESLA: “Tally! Oh my god….I’ve been trying to get ahold of you for a month now…”

Tallyn looks at her younger sister’s face and feels nothing but anger and resentment toward her. She knew that logically, she shouldn’t place the blame on Tesla because it was just a freak accident.  But she was still so mad at her. Tallyn had been the one to take care of all of her siblings when she was growing up and when her Dad kicked her out over a year ago, she had made sure that Tesla was going to be the one to watch out for Tatum. Clearly, she didn’t.

TALLYN: “Well, clearly I didn’t want to talk to you.”

Tally doesn’t missed the hurt look that passes over Tesla’s face and Tally just shrugs her shoulders, not caring that it was probably a harsh reaction.

TESLA: “Tal…”

Tally just looks at her, a blank look in her own eyes as she looks at her younger sister. She takes a deep breath and slowly lets it out.

TALLYN: “Tes.”

The nickname came out flat and as if she was uninterested about what Tesla had to say. But Tally had to admit she missed Teddy; he was choosing to stay in Florida for an extended amount of time to help out their father. His father? Tallyn didn’t technically consider him her father as she had been the one taking care of Theo, Tesla, and Tatum.

TESLA: “Tally, you can’t just...you can’t just cut me out of your life! I’m your sister!”

Tallyn just shakes her head as she looks at the distress on her sister’s face. Tallyn knew that she should care about her sister more and be worried about her sister’s own mental health and well being but she couldn’t shake the angry feeling.

TALLYN: “So was Tatum, Tesla. And clearly, you are--were too selfish to even give a fuck about her.”

Tallyn again doesn’t miss the pained look that crosses her sister’s face. She knew that she couldn’t help it because Tatum had been special to Tally; their bond had been unbreakable until her father kicked her out.

TESLA: “Tally, please….I’m sorry!”

The tears splash down Tesla’s face as she tries to plead to Tallyn about forgiving her.

TALLYN: “You think a weak apology is going to mean anything, Tes? That doesn’t bring Tatum back! She’s fucking dead and there’s absolutley nothing you can say that will bring her back!”

TESLA: “I was watching her, Tally! She just ran out into the street!”

Tallyn shakes her head, knowing that was Tesla was lying because her father had said something completely different. Tesla had been on the phone with a boy and Tatum had just left the house, without any qualms about it.

TALLYN: “You know lying to me isn’t going to get you on my good side, Tesla. Dad already told me what had happened. And to think, Tesla, a boy was more important than Tatum’s life. That is going to be something that you will have to live with for the rest of your life.”

TESLA: “I...he! I’m sorry! Please, just...I need my sister, Tally…”

Tallyn watches as the tears start to spill down her sister’s cheeks and she rolls her eyes at it. She didn’t care if she was being heartless about it.

TALLYN: “No, Tes. I’m not...I’m not ready to really talk to you about this or anything else concerning Tatum, okay? I’m not ready to hear how your social life was interrupted with watching Tatum. She was our sister and she was important too. I have to go, Donovan is here.”

She doesn’t give Tesla time to protest as she hits the red button. Tesla would also know that Donovan wasn’t there and that Tally just didn’t have anything left to say to her at that time. She tosses her phone to the floor before sighing, getting that itch again. She had really tried to stay away from it; knowing that it messed her focus up but Asher was just...too tempting. And all she had to do to get what she wanted from him, was giving him a little bit of attention and it was an easy score.

TALLYN: “Fuck it. Nobody gives a shit anyways.”

Tallyn pushes herself up and pulls on a pair of yoga pants and a hoodie before shoving her feet into her tennis shoes. She grabs her phone and the rest of the necessities before leaving her hotel room. She smiles at people in the hallways as she heads to the elevator to go down to the lobby. She was becoming a little more comfortable with coming and going, even though several people enjoyed giving her dirty looks. And they were also becoming easier and easier to ignore as well.

--

Hours later, Tallyn walks into the hotel again, giggling and clearly out of sorts as she makes her way to the elevator. She was alone and seemed to be struggling to walk straight as she hums to herself. She presses the up button on the elevator before trying to wait as patiently as she could. But her patience was running out, so she jams her thumb into the up button again and does so a few more times and then smiles triumphantly when the door opens and she’s able to step into the elevator.

TALLYN: “Thank you, jerk.”

She didn’t care that the elevator was an inanimate object and definitely wouldn’t be talking back to her but it didn’t bother her at all. She presses the number of her floor before pressing the shut doors button and then leans against the wall and closes her eyes once the machine begins to move up to the floor she was staying on.

It didn’t take her long before she was getting off the elevator and beginning to walk down the hallway and she stops when she sees Theo leaning against her hotel room’s door. She sighs, figuring either her father or her sister sent him here to talk to her. She didn’t hold anything against him; how could she? He had been here when the tragic accident happened and so, there was no blame to be shared with him.

TALLYN: “Did Dad send you back to watch over me?”

She hadn’t meant to practically the spit the words out at him but she couldn’t help it. She had thought he had planned on staying in Florida to support both her father and Tesla during this tragedy.

THEO: “I guess technically you could say that, Tally. But not really to watch over you; everybody knows that you’re not about to let anybody take care of you.”

TALLYN: “Damn right. I’ve always taken care of myself.”

Tallyn unlocks the hotel door and walks inside, letting Theo follow behind her. She wanted to hold a grudge against him because he was ruining her high and killing it with ease. But he was her brother and now, her only sibling that she cared about.

THEO: “Tesla feels really bad, Tally. She hates herself for letting it happen and not watching Tatum better…”

TALLYN: “Good. She should. Fucking choosing a boy over her own fucking sister.”

The thought even pissed her off and she grabs an empty bottle of tequila and throws it at the wall. She hadn’t even realized that the thought alone was enough to make her cry. She was tired of crying but she didn’t know when the tears were going to stop.

THEO: “You shouldn’t hold it against her, Tal. She already feels bad enough…she doesn’t need you to hold your own grudge against her.”

Tally rolls her eyes at her brother as she keeps her back to him, tears trailing down her cheeks. She wanted to stop feeling so miserable. She had thought that the booze and drugs would numb it down but it was only a temporary fix.

TALLYN: “Yeah, well that’s what you think, Teddy. I can’t forgive her for choosing a boy over her own sister. Do you think I fucking enjoyed having to waste my entire teenaged years to care for her and Tatum? No. But did I fucking do it? Yes because I fucked loved them and I wanted them to be able to live normally. But guess what, Theo? Tatum doesn’t get to do that anymore because of Tesla’s selfish decision. So she can continue to feel miserable, I won’t stop her.”

THEO: “When did you turn into such a bitch, Tallyn? This...this isn’t you.”

Tallyn just stares at the curtains that were closed over the window and she just simply shrugs her shoulders at him. She didn’t want to think about the changes she had gone through in the past month. It wasn’t worth it. It wasn’t worth feeling like she wasn’t worth shit.

TALLYN: “This...is what happens when she killed my baby sister, Teddy. The old me? She’s gone and you’re going to have to accept that this is me now. And you can either fucking get on board with it or you can get the fuck out of here.”

Tallyn didn’t wait to see what he chose as she walks into the bathroom and slams the door shut behind her. She couldn’t deal with it anymore and just wanted to not feel. Thankfully, Asher had given her some to go.

Tallyn is sitting in front of her laptop, dressed in a simple purple tank top with the straps of her black lacey bra being visible. She was set to just record her own promo and then post it on the sight. No special effects, no nothing. She just didn’t have the oomph for that this week. She adjusts the laptop’s screen to adjust the camera before pressing the record button.

TALLYN: “I wish I could say that I had better news…”

She runs her fingers through her dark locks before looking at the camera.

TALLYN: “But I sit here in front of you, just thinking about what Sunday is going to produce. Sure, it will produce a killer show. But what about for me? Do I think that I have it in the bag for Sunday? Absolutely not. Do I give a fuck if I do?”

She gives the camera a blank look.

TALLYN: “Absolutely fucking not. It would fit right in with the way my month has been going. Might as well make it another loss for me because who the fuck cares? Surely not me.”

She lets out a breath and leans back in the chair, just staring at the camera with a blank look in her eyes. She was too high to give a fuck about what was coming out of her mouth.

TALLYN: “Should I be thrilled to be going up against a SCW veteran such as Sam Marlowe? Yes, probably. But am I? Abso-fucking-lutely not.”

The look on her face completely said that she didn’t care about what was happening. She didn’t care that she could definitely get in trouble for this video either. She was at that point where it didn’t really matter.

TALLYN: “I wish I could say that I had more oomph in me for Sunday but I really don’t. It’s going to be a shitshow of a match and I’m not exactly thrilled about it. This might get me in trouble but who cares? What are they going to do? Fire me? Go ahead. It’s not like that would make things better or worse either. The way my life is going right now? Might as well add that to the list of things that could go wrong.”

She hadn’t been able to pull herself out of her own funk since the previous day. The way that Theo had yelled at her after she came out of the bathroom high as a kite hadn’t really bothered her until she was sober. And now, she was just done with it.

TALLYN: “Fine me? Go ahead. Suspend me? Go ahead. Nothing will matter because there is nothing that will make what I am feeling right now worse.”

She moves her left leg up and wraps her arms around it and props her chin on her knee.

TALLYN: “Sam, I’m sure you’re a great person. Albeit, too fucking happy all the time but nonetheless, I’m sure that you’re a wonderful person. And a great competitor…”

She shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN: “And to be fair, you probably deserve a better opponent than myself right now. But let’s get into this so I can go back to bed, shall we?”

She rubs her forehead before clicking a link on her phone and reading something on it before setting her phone down on the desk.

TALLYN: “You have some really great accomplishments in SCW, Sam. Good for you. But you seem to be a let down once you’ve won a championship. I haven’t really figured out why but it seems like you can’t hold onto them for long periods of time. Is there a logical reason for that? No, probably not. Maybe you just fucking suck more than what management wants people to believe.”

She shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN: “But let’s face it, Sam...your biggest win of your career is when you beat the unbeatable, Mikah at My Bloody Valentine. And I forget which number it was, but it doesn’t matter. Nobody even gives a shit about that anymore. But let’s think, Sam…”

She taps her finger to her bottom lip a couple of times.

TALLYN: “Did you beat Mikah because you’re better than her? Or did you beat Mikah because she let you win? Because you don’t look more impressive than she was or is, even. I know she’s just Hot Stuff Mark Ward’s personal assistant, but I guarantee that she would beat you if she were to come back. So, let’s think about it again...were you really a better wrestler than her at that time? No, definitely not. I definitely believe that she let you win because she was tired of all those fucking sheep in the back throwing a tantrum like mother fucking two olds because they couldn’t beat her…”

She just shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN: “And this isn’t me saying I’m a fan of Mikah because that woman is a bitch and probably has done a lot of fucked up things in her career. But you can’t deny that she is the best that SCW had to offer when she was competing. She was what a Bombshell should be but yet, I don’t see her getting any sort of credit around her. Everybody acts like her title reign wasn’t that big or that important. They just kind of brush her accomplishments under the rug and act like it was nothing. But yet somebody like you, Sam? You get all sorts of praise and I just...I don’t get it.”

She shrugs her shoulders again.

TALLYN: “Personally, you don’t even seem to have what it takes to be a main eventer anymore. You’re too happy, too nice and being nice gets you fucking nowhere. I’ve tried it and it left a sour taste in my mouth. So I’m done being nice.”

She brushes her hands off as if she was brushing the dust off of them.

TALLYN: “Being nice is for losers and I’m learning quickly that you have to take what you want if you want to get anywhere in this business. And I’m about to take this win from you on Sunday, Sam. I need it more than you because let’s face it, even if you do lose, people will still love you...me? They don’t even know me yet to have much of an opinion on me….”

She smirks a bit.

TALLYN: “But they will come to know me soon and realize that I’m not just going to lay down and take whatever they dish out to me. I’m here to prove myself, whether I believe it or you believe it or not. Whatever happens? Is going to happen and I’m going to make sure that people realize that I’m not going to just be a flash in the skillet. And I’m beginning to believe that I’m going to have to make an example out of you, Sam.”

She looks around her hotel room and then lets out a breath.

TALLYN: “I wish I could say that you’re going to be an easy defeat because you’re not going to be. But it’s going to be fun to prove to everybody that you’re not as good as people like to pretend that you are. Maybe it will be an eye opener for you.”

She pauses before shrugging again.

TALLYN: “Or maybe not. I’m not a mind reader.”

She stands up and leans down to look into the camera.

TALLYN: “I’m done with this. See you on Sunday.”

FLASHBACK TO SATURDAY, APRIL 4, 2020

TALLYN: “Dad? What?!”

Tally watches as her camera falls into the bathtub full of water but she doesn’t seem to care about the camera’s state. She listens to her father speak and soon, her phone is on the ground as well as the news sinks in. Tatum was gone. DEAD. She stands in the middle of the bathroom of her hotel room and she didn’t seem to care that a puddle of water was collecting on the ground as she holds her phone to her ear but doesn’t seem to be listening to her father speak on the other line.

Tatum had gotten out of the house under Tesla’s watch and had gotten hit by a car. Her Dad didn’t tell her what Tesla was doing but Tally was already starting to place the blame on herself and not on the fact that it was just a tragic accident. She sets her phone down on the bathroom counter before sitting on the floor and pulling her knees up to her chest and then wrapping her arms around her legs before burying her face in her knees.

END OF FLASHBACK

DATE: MONDAY APRIL 6, 2020

Tallyn walks out of her hotel room dressed in a pair of black sweatpants, a loose fitting t-shirt, her feet in tennis shoes, and a bag slung over her shoulder. Her dark brown hair was piled up in a bun on top of her head and she was sporting a pair of dark sunglasses over her eyes. She ignores some of the people that were walking the hallways as she heads directly to the elevator. She jams her thumb into the down button several times, not being patient enough to wait for the elevator to do its thing.

TALLYN: “About time.”

She was acting as if the elevator could hear her words and she stepped into the empty elevator and pressed the lobby button before leaning against the back wall of the elevator shaft. She closes her eyes, trying not to feel all the emotions that she was feeling. She had locked herself in her hotel room all of the day before and had helped herself to the fully stocked liquor fridge. She didn’t care that she could potentially get in trouble for drinking underage but who was going to know? Or even care. It’s fucking Las Vegas.

She steps out into the lobby and looks around, hoping not to see Shooter or Mark Cross in the lobby. She didn’t need any distractions. She walks through the lobby, avoiding most of the people she saw and walks to the doors to leave where there were guards or whatever standing there. She assumed they were there to monitor who came in and out of the hotel and so they could swab the ones who were coming in. Tallyn lets out a breath before walking toward the doors but one of the guards puts his arm up to stop her. Tallyn moves her eyes to look up at him.

GUARD: “If you’re leaving the hotel to go places other than the gym or for a walk, you’ll need to be back here 48 hours before Sunday.”

She just looks at him, her eyes narrowed at him. She may also be a little drunk still.

TALLYN: “What? That’s dumb.”

GUARD: “And when you get back, you have to be swabbed and quarantined until the show.”

Tallyn feels the tears well up in her eyes again as she stares at him but he couldn’t see. She didn’t want to get swabbed nor did she want to have to quarantine herself either but she felt that she needed to go to Florida. She needed to see her family. Theo had been on the first flight out but Tallyn couldn’t process it that quickly. So she stands there now, glaring at the guard who hadn’t prohibited her from leaving but very clearly advised her not to.

TALLYN: “Fine. Fuck this bullshit.”

She turns and walks away from him and goes back to the elevator and jabs her thumb into the up button and does so several times, just as impatiently as she did before. She waits as patiently as she can, tapping her foot on the floor. When the doors open she steps back into the elevator shaft and presses her floor’s number and leans back against the wall. She keeps her face emotionless, but once the doors shut, she sinks down to the floor of the elevator and covers her face with her hands as her emotions overtake her body. She lets the tears flow down her face as the elevator doors close. She couldn’t control them all the time but she didn’t seem to care as long as she was alone in the elevator. But the seconds the doors open, she’s back on her feet and walking back to her hotel room, acting as if nothing was bothering her.

She walks into her hotel room and once the door is shut, she takes her bag and literally chucks it across the room. She doesn’t flinch when the bag hits the wall and falls to the ground in a heap and she grabs something off the counter and chucks it at the wall as well in a fit of rage before she sits on the floor, her back to the wall. She sits there, staring at the wall before she takes her sunglasses off and chucks them at the wall as well. At that moment, she hated being in Las Vegas and hated that she chose wrestling over her family.

DATE: TUESDAY APRIL 7, 2020

Tallyn couldn’t have sat in her hotel room any longer. She couldn’t drink anymore and she couldn’t cry any longer. So, here she was on the strip at 10 am and was just looking around. It was empty as it was still shut down due to COVID19. She was still feeling numb to the world and was now standing in front of Hershey’s World. She didn’t even seem to care that she was supposed to be working on getting ready for her match against Keira Fisher-Johnson, Seleana Zdunich, and Mercedes Vargas on Sunday. And she didn’t care that she should probably be at the gym, working on something. But she couldn’t do it. She couldn’t force herself to show up at the gym and try to put half of her attention to the training.

She’d chosen a pair of super short shorts and a simple black crop top to wear on her little excursion to the strip. She knew that everything was closed down but she didn’t care. She just needed the fresh air. But even that didn’t seem to be helping her mood as all she could think about was Tatum and that she hadn’t seen her in over a year and she had nobody to talk about it with. Not that she probably would anyways.

She walks away from the Hershey’s World area and heads down toward Park MGM. There wasn’t anything that caught her eye as she moved down the strip as she keeps her focus in front of her as she moves one foot in front of the other. That was all that she could really focus on as she tries to keep her mind busy on what she could see in front of her. But there weren't any people to keep her mind busy. So instead of continuing down the path she was on, she turns the opposite way.

TALLYN: “Fuck this bullshit.”

She was done trying to keep her head above water and done trying to stay in the good girl line. She was done. If the World didn’t want to deal her a good set of cards, she’d fucking do what she wanted without any qualms about it. How was it benefiting her to keep doing the right thing? How was it helping her in any way? It fucking wasn’t so she was done trying to be the good girl and it was time to be the BAD girl. Time to do whatever the fuck she wanted and not worry about the consequences.

She would have said that time mattered and that she didn't care that a lot of the minutes were ticking away from her. But she figured as long as the day got by her and she didn't think about Tatum, it was alright by her. She just kept walking, ignoring the fact that her feet were not happy with her choices. She didn't really know where she was going but soon, she found herself in a sketchy part of the area. She raises an eyebrow as she sees a slightly run down house and she just knew what was inside.

She had never thought about going down that path before. She hadn't wanted to be like her mother and be a horrible example to Tesla and Tatum. But what was stopping her now? Tatum was dead and Tesla was in Florida. Theo was an adult and could handle himself. She had nothing really holding her back.

TALLYN: "Fuck it. Might as well."

She walks up to the house and goes to knock but then remembered her time at the drug house back in Florida. They had basically laughed at her for knocking. So she takes a deep breath and pushes the door open and walks in.

She wished she could say what she saw surprised her but it didn't. There was loud music, and a haze in the air. The walls were tinged a yellow color and there were people in every room. She just raises an eyebrow at them but they don't seem to think she is out of place. Maybe they were used to people coming and going as they pleased. And just because she didn't look like the type to be in a drug house, it didn’t seem to set off any warning bells in their minds.

GUY 1: "You look lost darlin'. Can I help you?"

The way his eyes moved over her body didn't seem to bother her. Or maybe she still didn't feel anything as she stands in front of him. These types of places used to make her skin crawl because these were the types of people that her mother enjoyed spending her time around.

TALLYN: "Um…"

She didn't exactly know what she wanted. She hadn't actually walked into the house with a plan. She felt small now and as if she was younger than what she actually was. She looks at him, a blank look on her face. The guy just smirks a little bit as he can tell she was new to the whole process. He puts an arm around her neck, clearly not caring about personal space or boundaries. Or the fact that they were supposed to be six feet apart and practicing social distancing.

GUY 1: "Don't be shy, darlin'. I'm Asher and this here…"

He motions to the house with one arm as he keeps one arm around her neck.

ASHER:"Is my house. And we got whatever it is you need. LSD, PCP, heroin, cochise, weed, and ketamine. Anything you want sweetheart as long as you got cash."

She seemed slightly surprised at how open he was about what he had to offer in his house. He didn't know her from Adam and how did he know that she wasn't a cop?

TALLYN: "You're just going to willingly tell me all that and you don't even know if I am a cop or something?"

She looks at him, a slightly bewildered look on her face. He laughs and pulls her in closer to him, leaning down to talk to her.

ASHER:"If you was a cop sweetheart, you'd have been a lot more confident walking in here. You look like you've never done this before."

She knows he wasn't trying to belittle her or make fun of her but she still felt as if he was. She shoves his arm off of her neck with a huff. He laughs and shrugs his shoulders at her. He didn't seem to be bothered by her actions.

ASHER:"I would apologize but I don't think you'd believe me. Or really care. Now what's a good girl like you doing around here anyways?"

That label again. Did she really look like a good girl? That didn't do anything wrong? She wanted to shed that look so badly.

TALLYN: "Stop looking at me like that!"

ASHER:“Sorry but you don’t really seem the type to be comin’ ‘round here.”

Tallyn gives him a look before rolling her eyes at him and shoving his arm from around her neck. He just chuckles before looking her over. She gives him a slightly agitated look but he doesn’t seem perturbed about it but laughs before looking at her again.

TALLYN: “Well, I’m here, okay?”

Asher chuckles before leaning back against the wall to take her in a little more. He didn’t know what it was about her but there was something about her that he couldn’t push himself to be a jerk toward. He knew that he should have thrown her out the second he saw her but she intrigued him. And he wanted to know about her.

ASHER:“Alright, alright. Chill, so what’s your name, beautiful?”

She looks at him and raises an eyebrow at him.

TALLYN: “Tallyn….”

ASHER:“Nice name.”

Tallyn just rolls her eyes at him as she stands there, just staring at him. Asher just raises his eyebrows at heer before motioning for her to follow him into what she assumed was his room. She didn’t think about it as she follows him into his room and he clears off his chair and motions for her to sit. She gives him a slightly skeptical look but sits down anyways. He winks at her and she rolls her eyes as he grabs something for her and hands it to her.

She looks at the sugar cube that he’s offering her and she takes it in her right hand between her index finger and her thumb. She looks at it before looking at him, a clueless look on her face. She had to admit to herself that she was uneducated when it came to drugs and this one was definitely not something she’d seen before. Her mother’s drugs of choice were cocaine and weed. And Tally herself had never experimented with them in high school like a lot of her friends had done.

ASHER:“It’s LSD...put it under your tongue and let it dissolve and then swallow. This one is on me.”

She looks at the sugar cube and then at Asher before putting the sugar cube under her tongue and letting it dissolve. She looks at him, expectantly and he chuckles before sitting on the edge of his bed and looking at her.

ASHER:“It takes a while to kick in. Just relax...and tell me about yourself.”

She didn’t know it but it was going to be the beginning of a friendship with him. She just smiles at him, shrugging her shoulders at him as she leans in to talk to him.

TALLYN: “Wouldn’t it be better to just...not know anything about my past? And just get to know me now?”

Asher smiles at her before shrugging his shoulders as he himself pops a sugar cube into his mouth as his eyes stay on her. She watches him, letting her eyes look him over as she leans back in his chair. She didn’t realize before just how good looking he was and she hadn’t expected him to be so nice. Maybe she had been wrong to judge him like she had the men that had her mother hooked on the drugs she couldn’t quit. Asher had been nothing but kind to her and hadn’t really made fun of her for being so new on the scene when it came to drugs.

ASHER:“Are you saying that this version of you is better than the past version?”

Tallyn shrugs her shoulders as she looks at him as she breathes in deeply and slowly lets it out. Asher watches her, still intrigued by her and he couldn’t exactly pinpoint why.

TALLYN: “This me is the only one that matters…”

She flashes him a smile as she pulls her legs up underneath her on the chair. He raises an eyebrow at her before getting up to shut his door, not wanting to be bothered by his friends or any of the other occupants of the house.

ASHER:“I can understand that. So, what do you do for a living?”

A smile crosses her face as her worries start to slip from her mind as the drug slowly starts to kick in and she starts to loosen up around Asher.

TALLYN: “I’m a wrestler.”

ASHER:“No shit?”

She chuckles and shakes her head no.

TALLYN: “No, no shit.”

Asher smiles at her again as he leans forward again to look at her again. She looks at him and just offers him a smile.

ASHER:“Is it for that company that is based out of Vegas? Sun City or something?”

TALLYN: “Sin City Wrestling. And yes, I believe they’re based out of Vegas. We’re here for the foreseeable future. Well, until this Coronavirus is taken care of anyways.”

Tallyn could feel the beginning effects of the drug start to kick in and a smile graces her face as she looks at Asher. She didn’t understand it but she felt sort of comfortable around him. And maybe it was the drug taking effect on her body but she didn’t seem to think he’d mind if she did spill out all her worries and troubles. But she didn’t want to do that. She didn’t want to talk about Tatum or her tragic death. She wanted to forget about it and pretend that it hadn’t happened.

ASHER:“Don’t they got a big show comin’ up?”

Tallyn nods her head with a smile.

TALLYN: “Yeeep! And I have my first singles match this Sunday. Against three other already established Bombshells. I’m sooooo lucky.”

Asher smiles as he tugs her chair closer to the bed, any excuse to be closer to her. She lets him, the smile on her face stretching even more across her face.

ASHER:“Maybe I’ll come check it on Sunday. See what it’s all about..”

Tally raises an eyebrow at him before leaning in, her face mere inches from his own.

TALLYN: “Maybe I’d like that. Or maybe the drug likes that thought…”

Asher smirks a little at her before he leans his face just a smidge closer to her own. He reaches out and tucks a few strands of her dark hair behind her ear.

ASHER:“This is so strange….I feel like I’ve known you for a long time…”

She couldn’t help the giggle that escaped her lips as she places a hand over his as he cups her cheek, his thumb brushing over her cheekbone. She looks into his eyes and leans in and kisses his lips softly before pulling away from him.

TALLYN: “This is so unlike me…”

ASHER:“Is it?”

She nods her head as he carefully pulls her onto his lap from the chair. She carefully moves so that she is straddling his lap, his hands on her hips. She rubs her tongue along her bottom lip as she looks into his eyes. She was trying so hard to stay focused but the way his hands felt against her skin was driving her crazy. Or maybe it was the LSD, she wasn’t entirely sure.

TALLYN: “It is but this….this is the new me.”

He smirks at her as he slides his hands up her back, toying with the edge of her crop top. He dips his fingertips underneath the material and then slides his hands back down.

TALLYN: “I would have never done this a year ago…”

The words wouldn’t quit spilling from her mouth and she giggles as he takes her crop top off of her and tosses it to the side. She blushes just a bit as he does so, revealing her topless self now. He takes her in before leaning in and kissing her again. She leans into the kiss before she pulls away and looks at him. His pupils were slightly dilated and she could only imagine that hers were the same.

ASHER:“I think I like this new you…”

TALLYN: “It’s so hot in here…”

She could feel her body temperature rising as the drug began to kick in even more and she as tugging his shirt off of him as if that would help her heated body temperature. He however doesn’t object and helps her remove his own shirt for her.

ASHER:“It is getting hot in here…”

She smirks at him before she moves off of his lap to remove her shorts as he removes his pants as well. He watches her the best he can as he removes his own clothes and she smirks at him. She was enjoying the euphoric feeling and she was sure the drug could be credited with that. Or at least, that’s what her drug induced mind was telling her.

ASHER:“C’mere…”

She giggles again as he pulls her back into him and onto his lap. She looks into his eyes again and she leans down and kisses him again. She knew that she shouldn’t be doing this and that she should have been at the training center and trying to get herself prepared for Sunday. But this was...easier and it didn’t take any thoughts and she didn’t have to focus on what was actually wrong. And she could handle easy.

DATE: THURSDAY, APRIL 9, 2020

Wednesday had come and gone too quickly for Tallyn. She had stayed at Asher’s place and had continued to get high. She had used whatever he gave her without any second thought about what he offered her. They had spent most of the day locked in his bedroom, ordering take out, and just being naked with one another. But she knew that she had to go back to her hotel room and try to get focused on her match coming up this weekend.

She had only been at the hotel for an hour when she hears a knock at the door. She raises an eyebrow as she wraps a towel around her body and opens the door to see Asher standing there in a pair of jeans and a simple black t-shirt. He had his hand on the back of his head, rubbing it as he stood there a little nervously. She raises an eyebrow at him before he shows her a bag of chinese food and then pulls a smaller bag out of it to show her some party favors. Her eyes widen and she pulls him into the room so that nobody else would see.

TALLYN: “You can’t be showing those so openly!”

Her voice was a hushed whisper as if she would be heard in her hotel room. She was still trying to come down from her high from the past two days but it was hard. The images of Tatum were burned in her head even though she hadn’t seen any of the crime scene photos but her mind was a bitch and she always imagined the worst images.

ASHER:“Sorry. I just...I thought you could use some company.”

She laughs before shrugging her shoulders and lets him move deeper into her hotel room. She watches as he sets the bag on the small little table in the corner and she drops the towel and pulls on an oversized t shirt that she was sure belonged to Shooter. She didn’t care, he wasn’t getting it back.

TALLYN: “This….is probably not a good idea.”

But she didn’t seem to want to kick him out of her hotel room either. She couldn’t deny the weird connection that they appeared to have to one another and it just felt right to her. She walks over and sits on the chair across from him as he sets the things out on the table. She was supposed to be getting ready to go to the GO gym for a training session, but the food and drugs seemed like a way better option. At least she could push Tatum out of her mind for a little while longer.

ASHER:“Maybe not but I don’t hear you saying no. Just like you didn’t the past couple of days.”

Her cheeks flush pink a little at him bringing up their rendezvous the previous days. It wasn’t that she was ashamed of them but she hadn’t really thought about it over and over again. She grabs the container of fried rice and a fork and takes a bite of the rice. She wasn’t going to argue with him; it was a much better idea than training. And she wasn’t sure that working her ass off was going to work anyways.

TALLYN: “Definitely didn’t say that word. What party favors did you bring?”

He laughs before grabbing the baggie and shaking it at her. He pulls out the different drugs.

ASHER:“Some weed, more LSD, and thought we could try some PCP…Or at least, you could try it if you wanted a different experience other than LSD.”

She looks at him before her eyes move down to the drugs. She immediately grabs a sugar cube and puts it under her tongue to dissolve. She liked the way it made her feel. He smirks as he watches her take the LSD with no complaint.

TALLYN: “This is the last day. I have to be clean by Sunday afternoon.”

He raises his hands up in the air and nods his head as he understands where she was coming from. He grabs a sugar cube himself and puts it under his own tongue to get high with her.

ASHER:“Promise. We’ll be angels tomorrow.”

She nods her head before they start to eat the Chinese food he had brought for them to share together. Tally watches him as she shoves a bite of the rice in her mouth again and he chuckles at her eagerness to eat the rice and almost nothing else.

TALLYN: “We don’t have to be angels, just not on drugs.”

She winks at him and he laughs before grabbing her arm and tugging her up and over onto his lap. He leans up and kisses her lips, his hand sliding up her shirt as he does. She didn’t mind all the touchy-feely stuff nor did she mind that she was letting him do whatever just so she could continue to get high without having to really pay. Plus, it was enjoyable for her too.

ASHER:“You’re so hot.”

Tallyn giggles again before wrinkling her nose at him.

TALLYN: “I know….”

He laughs at her before picking her up and moving to the bed. He looks at her as she scoots a little up on the bed.

TALLYN: “I should be training for Sunday. I’m going up against three other women who are much, much more established in the ring than I am…”

He raises an eyebrow at her words before leaning down and kissing her cheek. She takes a deep breath and slowly lets it out as she can feel her heart beating wildly against her chest.

ASHER:“I could help you…”

She lets out a laugh before covering her mouth as he looks shocked at her laughter. She just gives him an innocent smile as she squirms a bit.

TALLYN: “What do you know about wrestling?”

She hadn’t meant for it to sound so condescending but she didn’t know that he knew anything about the sport.

ASHER:“I’ve watched it on and off since I was a kid. It doesn’t look that hard.”

She rolls her eyes at him again before shoving him off of her and onto the bed next to her. She moves and straddles his waist and looks down at him.

TALLYN: “Have you ever even attempted to train for it?”

He shakes his head no as his hands go to the outside of her thighs. She smiles down at him as he rubs his hands up her thighs and then back down. Sometimes, it was hard to focus on the conversation when his hands were on her body. It was probably the drug speaking.

ASHER:“Does trying moves on the trampoline with my older brother as a kid count?”

She laughs again at his question and she shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN: “I suppose it could...do you remember any of the moves?”

ASHER:“Nah, I wasn’t that into it but it was always fun performing those moves as a kid. Because when you’re a kid all that shit looks fun…”

Tallyn laughs and nods her head, agreeing with his words. Her siblings had been close enough that it hadn’t any real appeal to them. She had to function as a mother figure to them and she couldn’t have imagined that wrestling with them would have been a good model of behavior to them.

TALLYN: “You’d probably not do very well anyways. You’d probably flop in the ring like a fish.”

He scoffs at her before rolling them over so that he was back on top. She giggles at the motion before she looks at him.

ASHER:“I think I’d be pretty agile in the ring, actually. If I ever wanted to get in shape to do that.”

Tallyn rolls her eyes at him. It wasn’t like he was out of shape but she knew what he meant; he’d have to kick the drug habit and actually focus on something. She didn’t have room to talk because currently, she was doing the drugs with him as well. But it didn’t really matter, did it? She wasn’t going to be high on Sunday and she was going to be extra careful in the coming weeks.

TALLYN: “You’re not out of shape...you’d do fine.”

He reaches down and cups her face softly before leaning down and kissing her on the lips. He pulls back and winks at her.

ASHER:“I’m not in the best of shape, Tals. I’d be winded after one match and probably never do it again. I don’t seem to have a good track record when it comes to picking up a new hobby.”

He wrinkles his nose at her and she laughs again before her cell phone goes off. She jumps at the noise and she shoves him off of her and he lands on the bed with a huff and she scurries over to her phone. She would have ignored it but she didn’t want Theo to call with any information and she miss it. She sighs when she sees Gabriel’s number flashing on her screen. She silences the ringer and then turns the phone off before turning to look at Asher.

TALLYN: “Sorry….where were we?”

DAYS UNTIL BLAZE OF GLORY: 2

<text align=right> <p align=”Right”>

The scene opens up to a dimly lit room with a catwalk sort of stage and a stripper pole at the end of the catwalk. There was a bit of a hazy look to the room and the lights started to change from a normal to those of pinks and purples. Asher sat at the end of the catwalk in a chair with a bunch of money in his hands as he waits. The song My Oh My by Camila Cabello begins to play and soon Tallyn can be seen at the back of the stage area. She dances before walking along the catwalk to the stripper pole. She was dressed in a black lingerie type out fit before she slides her back down the pole, dancing the music before she sits down, her back against the pole as she looks at Asher, her eyes slightly bloodshot but due to the pink and purple lights, it was unrecognizable to the camera.

Her legs are outstretched in front of her and she crosses her feet at her ankles as she looks over Asher’s head at the camera. She holds up two fingers and waggles them a little bit.

TALLYN: “Two days.”

A smirk crosses her face.

TALLYN: “Two days and we’ll meet at Blaze of Glory, girls. And I know you’re all doing your best to prepare the match…”

She stands back up but does it slowly, her legs straight and her behind against the pole as she pulls her upper body up and leans against the pole.

TALLYN: “I do hope that you all haven’t gone crazy due to the social distancing bullshit that we’re being forced to practice.”

She moves her hips a little, rocking them to the beat of the music.

TALLYN: “But let’s get down to business…”

She didn’t want to waste any of her precious time with semantics or talking about shit that didn’t really matter.

TALLYN: “And no, not to defeat the huns. And don’t deny it, that’s where your heads went. Don’t lie.”

She moves to twirl around the pole before sitting down again in the same position as before. She crosses her feet at her ankles and leans her head against the pole.

TALLYN: “Shall we talk about the self proclaimed roadblock first?”

She tilts her head to the side, a smirk tugging at the corners of her lips.

TALLYN: “I mean, she looks like a roadblock, if that’s what she wants to call herself, who am I to stop her?”

A laugh spills from her lips and she rolls her eyes.

TALLYN: “I haven’t decided if it’s a good thing that you’ve said absolutely fucking nothing about me, Roadblock or if it’s a bad thing. However, I get the feeling that you’re not taking me seriously because I’m new. I have a feeling you’re trying to brush me under the rug and discredit me as a competitor. And I get it, I’m not as decorated as SCW’s walking stat book and I’m not the Bombshell Champion’s lackluster wife…”

Another shrug rolls off of her shoulders.

TALLYN: “But I am going to be the one that you need to be worried about in that ring, Roadblock. I’m not here to make friends or exchange pleasantries with you. I don’t give a flying fuck about what you’ve done in the past or what you think you’re going to do in the present. Because I’m here to show you that you’re worth jack shit in that wrestling ring.”

She pushes her hair out of her face.

TALLYN: “I don’t think it’s sank in yet, has it Road Block? You don’t know what to expect on Sunday and I know that you’re just guessing at what you think you know about me. Yes, I am a trainee at the GO gym. Yes, I am one of their Darlings. And no, you can’t sit with us.”

She shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN: “Do you think I give a fuck about what you’re itching to learn about me in the ring? Do I give a fuck whether I disappoint you or not? No. You’re not Gabriel or Odette so you can fuck right off with that ideation. Maybe you should prepare to get a dose of reality on Sunday when you realize, once again, that you’re not worth the money they pay you. Thank you, next.”

As she says that, Ariana Grande’s song, Thank U Next’s chorus begins to play. Thank you, next (next), Thank you, next (next),Thank you, next. It shuts off after that and Tallyn rolls her eyes.

TALLYN: “And next, the Bombshell Champion’s wife…”

A frown crosses her face but she shakes her head a little bit to wipe the look from her face.

TALLYN: “I’m not sure I understand you at all. Are you not even going to try on Sunday? Because it doesn’t even sound you’re invested in showing up for the match. Because the fuck?”

The confused look is on her face again.

TALLYN: “Is there anybody even home in that brain of yours, Seleana? Because I’m not sure that you even know that you have a match on Sunday. And I’m new to this whole thing…”

She moves her hands in a circle to show what she meant.

TALLYN: “And I’m beginning to think that you just want to ride your wife’s success and let her bring in all the money. If that’s how you want to live your life but it doesn’t sound like a very good life…”

She shrugs her shoulders again.

TALLYN: “I think you need to wake up and start acting like you want to be a wrestler or a competitor in the ring. Where’s the Seleana that won the Bombshell Championship? Because I guaran-fucking-tee that it’s not the one that we’re going to see on Sunday. The Seleana who won the Bombshell Championship actually fucking gave a damn about her career. This one that the Road Block, the Stat Book, and myself are facing in two days? She doesn’t gives a fuck about anything.”

She tried to keep the annoyance out of her voice but it was there and very much audible.

TALLYN: “But it’s probably too late for you, Seleana. Because you’ve had a week to prepare for Sunday and I bet you’ve done fuck all. And don’t start now.”

She shrugs and the chorus of Dua Lipa’s Don’t start now song begins to play. Don't show up, don't come out, Don't start caring about me now, Walk away, you know how, Don't start caring about me now. The music shuts off of after that. And Tallyn shakes her head, shaking her hair out a bit as she leans forward.

TALLYN: “Now we move onto the walking Stat Book, Mercedes Vargas.”

She tries not to make a face at the fact that Mercedes could remember almost anything. At the drop of a hat. Tallyn lately couldn’t remember what she had for lunch or if she even had anything to begin with.

TALLYN: “Ah, Mercedes. The transitional champion to all the championships but likes to pretend that she’s better than everybody else.”

She shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN: “Hey, I’m just calling it like I see it and the way I see it? SCW puts their eggs in your basket one too many times.”

She shimmies back up the pole into a standing position before twirling around the pole.

TALLYN: “You know, you should try something like this Mercedes. It would require no real talent and you wouldn’t have to remember such tedious information about other Superstars and Bombshells that don’t give a fuck about you.”

The word fuck was spilling from her mouth uncontrollably now.

TALLYN: “Like, I don’t really know you and I don’t care to know you. The way I see you, you seem like a kiss ass. And you’re always trying to be more important that what you really are. I also see SCW using you as a tool because you can fucking remember anything at the drop of a hat. And I can see how that is useful to them.”

She struts along the stage, dancing and moving her body as she speaks.

TALLYN: “And the fact that you fucking think you fucking deserve better just...pisses me the fuck off.”

She stops by the pole again and looks down at Asher, her eyes looking into his and he tosses some money at her and winks at her.

TALLYN: “Why? Why the fuck do you deserve better you pretentious little bitch? Although...you’re not so little.”

She smirks at the little dig at Mercedes’ appearance. She could fight dirty if she had to and she would if she felt the desire to do so.

TALLYN: “But please, don’t fucking break out into song; nobody wants to hear your croaky old voice sing let alone see your horse face try to belt out a tune.”

She visibly shudders at the thought before sliding her back down the pole, her legs moving into a squatting position.

TALLYN: “We all fucking now that you’re a fucking Hall of Famer, quit trying to shove that stupid information down people’s throats. Nobody fucking gives a shit about your accomplishments. You’re the only fucking one who cares about them. Nobody wants to hear you say that you’re a Grand Slam Champion fifty million times during your piece of shit promo. Or that you’ve beaten everybody. Because guess what?”

She holds an arrogant smirk on her face as she stares directly into the camera.

TALLYN: “You’ve never beaten Mikah one on one. Oh yeah, I did my research. She’s kicked your flabby ass every time you and her stepped into the ring. And I wish she’d return for one more match just to fucking do it again and maybe then you’ll shut your horse like mouth and stop being an annoying twat.”

She lets out a breath as she slides back up the pole.

TALLYN: “You didn’t set the bar, by the way. You were basically just a transitional champion when it came to the Bombshell Championship. You set the bar for fucking nobody when it comes to that championship. And let’s face it, while this match is the number one contender’s match for the Bombshell Internet Championship, the Bombshell Championship is the big one. The one that sets the pace for every other fucking Bombshell that is in this company and your horse face doesn’t set the bar for shit when it comes to that. I believe people like Mikah, Alicia Lukas, and Christina Rose do. You? People just laugh when they hear your pathetic statements about being the bar.”

She smirks at the camera again.

TALLYN: “I know I laugh when you say stupid shit like that. It’s no surprise that you were once friends with people like Veronica Taylor and Amanda Cortez. Oh yeah, I did my research there too. And just because you’ve been here a long ass time, doesn’t mean you’re the measuring stick or anything like that for anybody. You only have a record like you do because you’re like the virus that just won’t fucking go away.”

She rolls her eyes before sighing.

TALLYN: “But go on, say how you’re the best and that you’ve raised the bar and set the bar and other bullshit that’s clearly not true. Keep collecting the dust like the relic you think you are Mercedes. And keep on reliving those memories in your head. Because soon, that’s all you’ll have.”

Memories by Maroon 5 begins to play. Here's to the ones that we got, Cheers to the wish you were here, but you're not, 'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories, Of everything we've been through, Toast to the ones here today, Toast to the ones that we lost on the way, 'Cause the drinks bring back all the memories, And the memories bring back, memories bring back you.

TALLYN: “Look, all three of you I’m sure are talented in some fucking way. But I have a point to prove on Sunday and I’m not about to let you three show me up. You’ll get more shots in the future but this time? It’s my fucking shot and I’m just going to fucking take it. Maybe, since we’re in Vegas you can find a job at a strip club to make extra money. Because you all aren’t going to be able to call yourselves the winner after Sunday.  Oh, Horse face, you might need a paper bag before you apply to become a stripper though. Just a tip.”

She winks at the camera as Asher tosses more money on the stage.

TALLYN: “Are you ready for it?”

Ready for it by Taylor Swift begins to play and the lights shut off as the camera records just the music before being shut off.

DAYS UNTIL BLAZE OF GLORY: --

<text align=right> <p align=”Right”>

A fifteen year old version of Tallyn walks into the house around 5 P.M. to find her thirteen year old brother sitting on the couch, playing video games. That was nothing out of the ordinary so Tally just shakes her head before walking into the kitchen to find it empty. She frowns, finding it a little strange as Tesla, her ten year old sister was usually sitting there doing her homework and their mother was usually making supper and trying to keep their youngest sister, Tatum from throwing a fit about something. But all three were absent from the kitchen, which made Tally feel uneasy. She walks back into the living room and looks at Theo.

TALLYN: “Teddy, where is Tesla and Tatum!?”

Theo looks up from his video game, a slightly surprised look on his face as if he hadn’t even realized that Tally had gotten home from her dance class.

THEO: “Oh, I don’t know. I’ve been home since 3:45 and I thought they got home shortly after I did…”

Tallyn lets out a groan of frustration as she feels the panic set in in her stomach. She didn’t like her mother and hated that she was always a wild card. Tally never knew when her sister was going to just up and disappear on them; she’d done it several times before.

TALLYN: “Teddy! It’s 5 P.M. Where could they be?!”

Theo audibly sighs and pauses the video game as he can hear the distress in his sister’s voice. He stands up and places his hands on her shoulders as he looks into his sister’s brown eyes.

THEO: “Calm down, Tally. We’ll find them, I’m sure Mom’s just running late.”

Tallyn just looks at her younger brother and shrugs her shoulders. She often felt that her mother was just waiting for another excuse to leave and Tally felt as if she had actually done it this time. Theo could see the worry in her eyes and he gives her a smile before handing her the keys to the car her father had bought for her to drive to and from school on her school permit.

THEO: “We’ll find them, calm down.”

Theo grabs his phone and then hands Tally’s her own phone. Tally offers  him an appreciative smile, thankful that he was actually helping her and not just telling her she was crazy. Sometimes, she felt crazy but she had been taking care of Theo, Tesla, and Tatum since she was nine years old. She often felt as if she had no control when her mom was around and then she just felt like she was lost. Sometimes she tried to think that she's only fifteen years old but it never worked because her mom disappeared at the drop of a hat.

She didn't have a childhood where she wasn't taking care of someone. Before Tesla and Tatum came along it was a turn Theo and she even took care of Theo at a young age. He was only two years younger than her barely at that but she still acted like she was the one taking care of him.

TALLYN: “Where should we look first?”

She didn't care that it was illegal for her drive Because she wasn't 16 years old yet. She only had her school permit, which only allowed her to go from her house to school and back. This would be the first time she ever did anything that was against the law. She had always made sure she was extra careful when she had her siblings in the car with her.  Because she figured if she wasn't around who was going to take care of them?  So she always made sure that she didn't get in trouble because she was person that her siblings depended on.

THEO: “Well, let’s go to the school first. Maybe they’re still at the after care center.”

Tallyn nods her head. That was the most reasonable thing to do and probably the smartest, unless their mother picked up the girls and went off somewhere.

TALLYN: “Right. You’re right.”

She doesn’t hesitate in taking the keys or walking out the front door to her car. It was a super nice car and probably too fancy for a fifteen year old to be driving but their father wanted her to have a responsible, and a reliable car to get around in. So, he bought her an Audi and let her pick the color, in which she picked yellow. They waste no time in getting in and they both put their seatbelts on before she drives the ten miles to the elementary school. Tallyn hurries out of the car and Theo is quick to follow her into the building as they go to the aftercare program in the school.

TALLYN: “Tesla?! Tatum!?”

The workers in the room look up and seem surprised to see Tallyn and Theo there. Tallyn seemed a bit panicked as she looks around the room but doesn’t seem to see either of her sisters.

TEACHER: “Tally?”

TALLYN: “Where are my sisters!?”

The teacher exchanges a look with another one in the room before looking at Tally and then at Theo.

TEACHER: “Your mom picked them up about an hour ago…”

The color drains from Tally’s face as she looks at the teacher before looking at Theo. Theo just sighs and runs a hand over his face as Tally can feel her world starting to unravel.

TEACHER: “Is...everything alright? Is there somebody we can call for you?”

It was clear that the teacher could sense the panic and uneasiness that Tallyn was emitting. Tallyn numbly shakes her head as she tries to think where her mother would go to.

TALLYN: “No…I...it’s just a misunderstanding…”

The words came from her mouth easily but it was clear that she herself didn’t believe them either. She looks at Theo, who was starting to feel the severity of what was going on. He was starting to understand that their mother wasn’t a good person.

THEO: “Let’s go, Tally.”

He grabs her arms and tugs her out of the room and numbly, they both walk back to the car. Tally was feeling more and more angry with their mother, who clearly put her own needs before her children’s. Once in the car she hits the steering wheel a few times before letting out a frustrated scream.

TALLYN: “I hate her, Teddy! I hate her so much.”

She didn’t want to cry, but she couldn’t stop the angry tears from slipping down her cheeks. Her mother had let her down one too many times and she couldn’t trust the woman. She only wished that her father would be done with her for good.

She starts the car before pulling away from the school. She didn’t know where else to look but she’s careful to go the speed limit as she lets her autopilot take over and soon she finds herself in front of a worn down house in a not so nice part of Orlando. She looks at Theo and her eyes hold a pained look. She had never wanted to relive the time when her father dragged her here to pull her mother out of this house. Teddy had only been five and was in the car asleep, and Tesla had only been two and also asleep, so her father had used her as a guilt trip to their mother. And it had worked then. Her mother’s addiction hadn’t been so extreme.

TALLYN: “Teddy, do not leave this car, okay? No matter what you hear or what happens, do NOT get out of this car.”

THEO: “Alright…”

He seemed uneasy but he never disobeyed his sister but he could see how hesitant she was about going in the house. But he doesn’t have time to question her about it as she gets out of the car and takes the key fob with her. She locks the car from the outside and gives him a look that tells him again that he better not leave the car.

She walks up the sidewalk that leads up to the house and she stops about halfway there as she takes it in. It was clear that she was nervous and wasn’t sure how she was supposed to go about this and she glances back at Teddy before shoving the key fob in the back pocket of her shorts. She walks up to the house and knocks loudly on the door. She holds her breath as she can hear some grumbling and scrambling going on.

She looks to her left and sees a broken porch swing sitting on the porch and then looks to her left to see a bunch of trash piled up. She shudders a little bit at the feeling of uneasiness that settles in the pit of her stomach, as if she shouldn’t be here. But she had to find her mother so that she could find Tesla and Tatum.

She knocks again on the door, pounding harder on it as she tries her best to wait impatiently. She knocks a third time, making the noise be louder than the first two times.

GUY 1: “JUST A MINUTE.”

The voice was loud and rough and it made Tally stop dead in her tracks as she only imagines that the guy was much bigger than she was. She takes a tentative step backwards but then stops. She reminds herself that she has to find Tesla and Tatum, so she stands there staring at the door and willing for it to open. And soon it does and her brown eyes widen as she sees the man standing in front of her. He wasn’t exactly unattractive but you could tell that he was on drugs and very high.

GUY 1: “What do you want?”

Tally clears her throat and tries her best to sound confident.

TALLYN: “I’m looking for my mother...and I know she gets...her stuff from here…”

So much for sounding confident, her voice had faltered just a little bit. The guy sizes up the fifteen year girl before stepping aside to let her in. She looks over at Theo once more before walking into the house. The guy smiles before letting the door close behind him and Tally as she looks around the house. There was a smokey haze in the air and the wallpaper was turning a yellowish color and starting to peel from the wall. There was music playing but it didn’t seem to be as loud this time as it was when she was seven years old.

GUY 2: “Who’s the girl?”

GUY 1: “She says she’s lookin’ for her ma.”

GUY 2: “We ain’t got nobody’s ma here.”

Tallyn just ignores them as she goes through the rooms, looking in until she looks into the wrong room and comes face to face with a man that was much more intimidating the first guy. He wasn’t bigger but he just had that look about him. She stops in her tracks as she stares at him wide-eyed.

GUY 3: “Who tha fuck are you?”

TALLYN: “I’m looking for my mother! This is where she gets her shit.”

She swallows hard as she sees the guy narrow his eyes just slightly at her but she tried her best not to back down from him or to not get what she came for.

GUY 3: “Oh does she now?”

Tallyn swallows again before looking at the guy. He was scary and she couldn’t even put her finger on why he was so scary. It wasn’t like he was big in size like the first guy was but she just got this weird vibe from him.##

TALLYN: “I came here with my father when I was seven years old. And she was here getting high with some fucking moron.”

The guy just laughs but there was nothing warm about it and the noise made a child crawl up Tallyn’s spine but she shakes it off as if it was nothing. She didn’t want to back down from him.

GUY 3: “You got some balls girl to be talkin’ to me like that. Who you think you are?”

He looks her up and down, sizing her up or checking her out, she wasn’t sure but she holds her ground. She crosses her arms over her chest, pushing them up just a little bit. The motion doesn’t get lost on him and his eyes go to her chest almost immediately. She closes her eyes before shaking the sleazy feeling off.

TALLYN: “Look, is she here or not? I have to find her, okay? I don’t have time to deal with your shit.”

The guy seemed impressed by the teen’s confidence before he shakes his head and looks to the other guy.

GUY 3: “Get her outta here.”

GUY 1: “Yes, sir.”

Before she has time to protest, the first guy picks her up and easily tosses her over his shoulder and marches her out of the house and puts her back on the porch on her feet. She opens her mouth to protest but the guy slams the door in her face. She sighs before walking back to the car and unlocking it before getting in. Theo looks at her, in curiosity but mostly, he just wanted to know that his big sister was alright.

THEO: “No mom?”

Tally shakes her head as she starts the car and begins to drive again. She didn’t know where her mother could be and she didn’t want to cry over it. She didn’t know where else to look and she was running out of ideas. Theo watches as his sister drives before she turns down the road that would take them to the mall. It was a long shot but it was the only other thing she could think of.

THEO: “Tally, this isn’t the time for you to go shopping! We gotta find Tes and Tatum!”

Tally shoots him a slightly annoyed look, annoyed that she had to explain it to him even though it wasn’t his fault. She knew that it wasn’t but it didn’t mean she didn’t feel annoyed about it.

TALLYN: “People always go to the back parking lot in the mall to get high, Teddy. I have a feeling that mom is there. And we need to get Tes and Tatum out of there.”

Theo nods his head, finally understanding where his sister was coming from. She pulls into the back parking lot to the mall and drives through the rows of cars before spotting her mother’s run down minivan. It was ironic that Tally had a better vehicle than her mother but her mother chose to drive the minivan anyways.

Tallyn pulls her car beside her mother’s minivan and parks it before getting out. She walks over to the minivan and jerks the side doors open to see Tesla sitting there with tears on her cheeks and Tatum was openly and loudly crying.

TESLA: “Tally!”

The emotion in her voice and eyes said it all to Tally and she hugs her 10 year old sister before pulling Tatum over to her as well. They both hug her back, clinging to her and Tally tries to reassure them.

TALLYN: “It’s okay, Tes and Tatum. I’m here.”

She helps them over to her car and gets them buckled in as her mother, Athena walks out of the mall to see Tallyn shutting the door to her Audi. Athena smiles as she walks over toTallyn, that high look in her eyes.

ATHENA: “Tally! My sweet girl!”

Tallyn makes sure the door is shut and she locks the car as she meets her mother at the front of their cars. Athena still holds a smile on her face as she opens her arms to hug her teenaged daughter.

TALLYN: “Do NOT touch me, Athena!”

The high smile on Athena’s face disappears as she realizes her daughter isn’t happy with her. Tallyn’s look, however doesn’t falter.

ATHENA: “I’m your mother, Tally! You don’t call me Athena…”

TALLYN: “No! You are not my mother! You are not their mother either!”

She was screaming and she pointed back at the car as Theo watched from the front seat. Athena looks shocked as her daughter yells at her.

ATHENA: “I am still your mother, Tallyn.”

Athena looks at Tallyn, that stupid look on her face as if she didn’t realize what Tallyn was talking about at all. Tallyn shakes her head.

TALLYN: “You will never understand! You are not a mother, Athena! You’re just some woman who gave birth to four children! You didn’t want any of us! You just want Dad’s money so you can go off to get high! You don’t give a flying fuck about what happens to us!”

Athena looks surprised at her daughter’s outburst. She goes to talk, but Tallyn holds a hand up to stop her.

TALLYN: “No! You don’t get to talk! You are a pathetic excuse of a mother! You fucking picked up my sisters and came here to get high! You fucking left them in the fucking car while you went off to score drugs and get fucking high because that’s the reality! The drugs will always be more important to you than we are and I’m fucking done with your bullshit.”

She didn’t care if people were watching, she was so upset with her mother. She didn’t think she was even going to get through the thick skull of her mother.

TALLYN: “I wish you would just fucking leave us alone for once and for all. Because you fucking ruin everything you fucking touch. Don’t come home tonight or I might do something I’ll regret!”

She turns quickly and walks to her Audi and gets in the driver’s seat. She glares at her mother as she puts her seatbelt on before starting the car. She honks loudly at her mother before pulling out of the parking lot.

DAYS UNTIL BLAZE OF GLORY: 8

<text align=right> <p align=”Right”>

The scene opens up to the bathroom in Tallyn’s hotel room. There was nobody else around and what could be seen from the camera’s angle was the bathtub filled with hot, steaming water, rose petals, and had candles lit all around it. The lights are switched to a dim light and soon Tallyn can be seen in the camera’s view in a light pink silk robe that went to her mid thigh. She has her dark brown hair piled on top of her head in a messy bun with a few pieces framing her face. She slowly lets the robe fall to reveal a simple black bikini before she steps into the bathtub and slowly sinks down before grabbing a lavender scented, bright purple bath bomb and lets it go in the water.

TALLYN: “Social distancing.”

She leans back against the bathtub, fully submerging herself into the bright purple water as she gets comfortable. She was careful not to get her hair or anything else in the flames of the candle.

TALLYN: “This week has been...trying. And that’s putting it nicely.”

She doesn’t look at the camera, instead lets her brown eyes close as she relaxes in the bathtub.

TALLYN: “Blaze of Glory is eight days away. And while that sounds like a long time, everybody knows that it really isn’t. But when you’re practicing social distancing, it’s even longer. And sure, I’m sure there are activities in the hotel to do that would entertain one’s self but really, how can you trust that that sneaky virus isn’t trying to get in through the vents?”

She knew that wasn’t how the virus worked but she was going to say it anyways.

TALLYN: “Oh, right. This is the fog nor is it the apocalypse but it sure feels like it, doesn’t it?”

She hadn’t a clue why she was talking about the virus that had seemingly taken over the world because that was what everybody was talking about anyways. Why should she be any different? Oh, right. Blaze of Glory is in eight days.

TALLYN: “I suppose I should talk about my match that's in eight days.  This coronavirus is starting to ruin people's lives and it's taking over everything. I haven't heard anything else on the news except for the coronavirus and hoow many people its killed. Which should be something I'm focusing on I should be focusing on Keira Fisher-Johnson, Seleana Zdunich, and  Mercedes Vargas. but how can I keep my focus on them when everybody talks about this virus?”

She keeps her eyes closed as she speaks, trying her best to relax.

TALLYN: “ I suppose I’ll start with Mercedes Vargas. The walking  statistics book. She knows everything there is to know about everybody. I bet she's going to tell you all about how I lost my second match in Sin City Wrestling. Or how I let my partner down because I'm the one that got pinned by Evie  Jordan.  Everybody walks around talking about Mercedes  like she's so fucking wonderful.  and I know that I'm new, a rookie and whatever you want to say but does she even win matches?  I mean I went through some tapes and then I saw her lose to Mikah several times.  The best thing I can say about her is that she's a transitional champion. At least that's what I tend to see when I watch her matches. How many times did she have the  bombshell championship? I mean the cheater hold it longer than a few weeks? A month maybe at the most?  I mean I'm not the walking statistics book but to me it seems like she's just  a transitional champion. She only holds the championship to make someone else look better.”

A smirk crosses her face as she tries to be still in the water.

TALLYN: “I guess that Micah was a bitch  and maybe she still is but at least you can hold on to the championship. I mean I watched a Climax Control that happened in 2017 or 2018-I can’t remember which year exactly;  they all kind of blend together because Mercedes wasn't even that relevant. But she had a lot to say about Mikah. Maybe she should have focused on the fact that Mikah kicked her ass almost every time they stepped in the ring. Has she ever beat Mikah in the ring? One-on-one? Like I said I'm not a walking statistic book.”

She peeks an eye open and over at the camera before shrugging her shoulders, the water splashing around a little bit.

TALLYN: “ But I suppose she's more successful than Seleana in the ring. Or maybe just because she's been here longer and is like old. And not to mention she looks like a fucking horse I mean like look at her face. Ew.  She was in the form of stable named The Mean Girls and that used to be successful till they all just fucking disappeared. Maybe they got tired of being around her boring old ass,  I really can't blame them. Or maybe they got tired of listening to her spout off the same old bullshit she does week after week.I would get tired of listening to her talk about the same shit over and over and over again. So I couldn't imagine what it was like being in a stable  with her. I mean did she talk about the same people over and over again or the same shit over and over again?  Because that would you want my fucking nerves.”

She takes a deep breath as if she needed to calm down.

TALLYN: “Let me try to guess what you're going to say about me Mercedes. I bet it’ll have something to do with the fact I'm young and naive or that I came from Gabriel and Odette;s gym. Or maybe you'll call me one of their Darlings or who knows. What you should do is not take me lightly. I may be young and I may be new to the game fresh on the scene but you I just another old dusty relic.”

She takes a deep breath and slowly lets it out.

TALLYN: “If you weren’t repetitive and boring Mercedes, I might actually like you because you may be the only one in this match that's worth something in the company. At least you're here and not leaving all the time. And yes I think I'm worth something in this company but I'm just beginning to see what I can do in the ring and you already know what you can do in the ring. But it's not like you can hold a singles title for very long, is it?”

A smirk crosses her face as she opens her eyes finally to look at the camera.

TALLYN: “Boring. Moving on.”

With a flick of her wrist, she puts one candle out with a drop of two of water.

TALLYN: “Keira Fisher-Johnson.”

She says the name slowly as if it was going to hurt her to say it.

TALLYN: “ You're a little bit crazy aren't you? I mean going through your Twitter feed is a workout in itself. I mean I would have gone to the gym today but going through your Twitter feed was a little bit more of a workout than training would have been. And how does it feel to be the less successful one in your marriage oh wait let's not bring that up.”

A smirk tugs on the corner of her lips as she looks at the camera head on this time.

TALLYN: “ You think you're a force to be reckoned with because you're married to Roxi. But you can't hold a candle to your own wife. It's probably a good thing that your wife is not booked in this match. You talk a big game and I'm sure that has worked for you in the past. But it's not going to work this time Keira. I've seen things that I should have to see as a 20 year old. I have seen scarier people than you in my life.  I got it! You are just like that one Bombshell  that shall remain nameless because if I do mention her name she will go off on Twitter about blah blah blah. Who the fuck cares.”

Tallyn rolls her eyes in slight irritation.

TALLYN: “You also cry out on Twitter stating you're not good enough for this or good enough for that.  you seem to want recognition all the time but you can't accept that you're not as good in the ring  as a lot of other people are. Have you ever held the Championship for the bombshells? Hmm... I didn't think so.”

She lets out a giggle before crossing her legs in the water.

TALLYN: “ I'd like to see that I feel for you, Keira.  but when you pretend to be a superhero I really can't empathize with you. You don't live in a reality-based world; you live in a world where things can be fixed by the snap of your fingers. And your reality you think that you could fly or do whatever the fuck it is you think superheroes do.  I'm not sure? But that reality isn't real. Your little world where  problems  get fixed by snapping your fingers or acting like you're a superhero, doesn’t exist. And maybe that's just a feel-good thing for you and your wife but I don't believe it for one second. I want you to wake up and smell the coffee. I want you to know that being a superhero-self-proclaimed that is-isn’t going to guarantee you the win on Easter Sunday.”

She doesn’t care if it was being harsh.

TALLYN: “ I want  you to know that on Easter Sunday I'm coming into that match preparing to break your spirit. To ruin whatever sense of normalcy you have left. You will be crying to the bosses because you didn't get a real chance  at the bombshell internet championship. You'll be begging them to give you another shot because you didn't take the one that you had. And you know what that's just too bad because maybe you should have worked on living in reality rather than the world that you choose to live in. Or you know you can just ask your wife for some tips.”

Another smirks tugs at the corner of her lips.

TALLYN: “Sorry not sorry.”

She takes another breath and slowly lets it out as she looks at the camera.

TALLYN: “Selenana Zdunich.”

She was sure that she butchered that name but she didn’t really care about the other competitor’s name.

TALLYN: “I'm pretty sure I just butchered the way your name's  pronounced someone to call you Sel...is that alright?”

She chuckles before shaking her head at her own antics.

TALLYN: “And how are you to disagree? Let's move on shall we?”

The pieces of her dark hair that wasn’t in her messy bun fall in her eyes and she pushes them out of her face with her right hand.

TALLYN: “ I don't know much about you; you're pretty quiet on Twitter. And what I've seen of you in the ring you look like you could be impressive if you weren't too busy writing your wife's coattails.  Oh did  that hit a little too close to home for you?  Here's a riddle for you:  what has blue hair and loves to screw her wife over to get ahead in the game? that would be your wife, Sel.  Is she going to Christina or Crystal these days?  Nevermind that's not relevant to you is it?”

She chews on the inside of her bottom lip as she thinks for a moment.

TALLYN: “ Between you and I, Sel,  I think we're the wild cards in this match. I think we were third in here because they didn't know where else to put us on the card. They didn't know what to do with a so why not just throw us on the match and hopefully we don't win right? I mean weren't you just the champion like a few months ago? Or maybe a year ago I can't really remember these statistics aren't my thing.”

She shrugs again as she uncrosses her legs and recrosses them the opposite way.

TALLYN: “Do you feel like you've been demoted, Sel? Do you feel like your worth in this company is less than it was at let’s say a year ago?”

Tally’s brown eyes glance at the camera before offering a smile.

TALLYN: “I would like to say that you could say that it is but let's be real. This is like a demotion for you and well for me it's like a very very good opportunity. I need to prove that I can hang in that ring just like everybody else can. I can prove that even though I'm a rookie I'm going to make a name for myself in this company. it'll be the first thing that I can put  on my list of accomplishments. That all this time that I spent working and training at the gym wasn't for nothing. But I didn't just throw over a year of my life away.  And moving to Las Vegas wasn't a mistake. Moving away from my family will have been worth it. I have no other choice but to win on  Easter Sunday. You on the other hand We have a lot of other times to win but this time it's not your turn.”

She shrugs her shoulders again before leaning forward.

TALLYN: “Sorry about your luck.”

She leans back against the smooth porcelain of the bathtub again and looks at her purple, glittery water.

TALLYN: “ All things change. The weather changes. Time changes. But you know it doesn't change? The fact that the talent in this company keeps coming in bigger and brighter.”

She holds a confident look on her face as she looks at the camera.

TALLYN: “This will be my third match in the  company. It will be my first match at a supercard. At a Super Show.  it will be my time to prove but I'm a force to be reckoned with. And I'm going to be the one that takes the company by storm. Because I have everything to gain if I win but if I lose I really don't have anything to lose. It won’t hurt me either way because I haven’t gained  any momentum in this company yet.”

She smirks.

TALLYN: “ It can really only go up from here for me. Losing doesn't make me go back or fall anywhere because I never expected to get this match. I never expected to get a shot at getting a shot at the bombshell internet championship.  so when I saw the card and then I was booked in this Matt I was ecstatic. This is a chance to prove to everybody that I'm not just a stepping stone or a pushover. And if I do go through three other interchangeable women to do so I'll do it. I don't care if I am new to the scene or not. I don't care if I'm  young or old. I don't care what these other interchangeable women have to say about me. Because they are going to find out what I am like in that ring on Easter Sunday and they're not going to like it. They're not going to enjoy losing to have such a rookie or a newbie. And well that's on them. I'd like to say I'd want to wish them luck but I really don't give a shit about what they want or if they deserve it or if they think of that I should respect them.  and maybe after Sunday I will respect them but we'll see we'll see what happens.”

She leans forward and blows out another candle.

TALLYN: “ Here's a little advice for you three girls. Don't just walk into the match on Easter Sunday thinking you’ve got it won because I'm new and I haven't been here as long as you have.  I may be new but guess what that also means I have a lot more in the tank than you do right now. You three have been doing this for a long time a lot longer than I have at least a year or two more. And for you Mercedes that's more like 10 right?”

She winks at the camera.

TALLYN: “ Never underestimate the Newbie or the rookie. I hope you guys are ready for Easter Sunday because I am. And I can't wait to see you there. Later.”

But before she can turn the camera off, her phone rings. She stands up and the water drops down her body as she grabs for her phone.

TALLYN: “Dad? What…”

A splash is heard and the camera gets a shot of water.

MONDAY, MARCH 16, 2020.
SCENE ONE
LOCATION:  READING, BERKSHIRE, ENGLAND

<text align=right> <p align=”Right”>

11:20 A.M.
Tallyn collapses onto the couch in her hotel room and looks over at Theo, who seemed not too pleased with his sister’s antics. She lets out a dramatic sigh before looking over at her brother. He raises an eyebrow at her before shaking his head at her dramaticness.

THEO:  “Do you have a problem, Tallyn?”

Tallyn smirks before nodding her head at him.

TALLYN:  “Yes, I’ve been cooped up in this hotel room for too many days and I just can’t do it anymore.”

Theo sighs, almost as if he was suddenly regretting going with his sister on her overseas tour. They hadn’t expected to be cooped up in a hotel room due to the Coronavirus outbreak or COVID19, whichever term you preferred. So, they were growing quite bored with one another’s company and Tally had taken one too many bubble baths that even that was growing old.

THEO:  “I can’t do anything about that Tally. Facetime Tesla or Tatum.”

Tallyn sighs again, in a slightly over dramatic way before moving so she was sitting upside down on the couch with her legs over the back of the couch and her head dangling off the seat. Theo raises an eyebrow but shakes his head as he uses his laptop to type a paper for his now online courses for the foreseeable future. He was glad that he didn’t have to make up his classes or miss any of that nonsense.

TALLYN:  “No, they always try to get me to talk to Dad but I just can’t. Not yet. It’s still too fresh.”

Theo sighs and closes his laptop when he realizes that Tallyn wasn’t going to leave him alone. He turns to look at her and raises an eyebrow as she was still upside down. Tally wanted to be able to forgive her father but there was something stopping her from doing so. Maybe she couldn’t let go of the grudge. She looks at Theo and then moves to sit back up to really look at him.

THEO:  “Tally, Dad can’t help it. He will always have a soft spot for Athena, it is just who he is.”

Tallyn frowns before shaking her head at him.

TALLYN:  “No. I refuse to accept that. I refuse to accept that he’d much rather take the word of some whore instead of his daughter who has raised his children for most of her life. It’s not fair and I refuse to let him off the hook.”

Theo looks at her and then looks around their smallish two bed hotel room. They had been cooped up in the room for a while and they were both starting to grow irritable with one another.

THEO:  “He can’t help it, Tal! He’s always bent to her will. Tatum, Tesla, and I know who raised us and who was there for us! They wanted to move to Vegas with me when I left but I couldn’t just take them and I don’t think that Dad would allow that.”

Tallyn rolls her eyes at Theo’s words but instead of replying to him, she looks at her nails seemingly uninterested in the conversation.

THEO:  “They miss you, Tally. If you don’t want to forgive Dad, that’s fine but don’t let them fall through the cracks just because you’re still angry with our father. It isn’t their fault that he can’t let go of Athena.”

TALLYN:  “And you don’t think that I miss them too, Teddy!? I love them, they’re my girls and it kills me that they’re not with me but I can’t take them from Dad either! I’m just their sister and he refuses to sign guardianship over to me. And Athena won’t do it either! So, I’m kind of just stuck. So I’m sorry that I just can’t seem to get over it and forgive him, okay?”

She stands up and storms into the bathroom and slams the door shut, clearly upset. She leans back against the door and slowly slides down into a sitting position on the floor.  She couldn’t help but be upset with her father; he’d taken away the only thing she knew. She had given up so much for Theo, Tesla, and Tatum and he acted as if it didn’t even matter. And that hurt even more than him siding with Athena.

2:30 P.M.

Tallyn had fallen asleep on the bathroom floor and she stretches when she finally wakes up and stands up. She blinks a few times before realizing she had left Theo to his own devices. She walks out of the bathroom to see Theo still sitting on the couch and this time, he was working on his paper again.

TALLYN:  “I’m sorry I got mad at you, Teddy. I just...I don’t know how to deal with what our father did.”

She sits down on the couch and just offers him an apologetic smile as he types away on his laptop. He looks over at her and offers her a small smile.

THEO:  “It’s alright, Tally. I get it. I’m going to finish up this little bit I have left then I’m going to kick your butt in a game of UNO.”

Tallyn laughs and then scoffs at the idea of Theo beating her in such a game. She pushes her hair over her shoulder and pushes his shoulder in a playful, joking manner.

TALLYN:  “You wish, Teddy. I’m going to kick your butt in UNO. I’m the Queen of the game, and you know it!”

Theo laughs before shaking his head at his older sister. She sits there watching him type before she goes to scroll through her Twitter feed. She glances over at Theo every now and then before letting out a dramatic sigh every few moments.

THEO:  “Fine, fine. I’m done for the afternoon.”

He chuckled at his sister’s impatience before he grabs the UNO cards off of the coffee table in the hotel room.  She smiles at him and watches as he shuffles the cards to ensure that they were evenly mixed up.

TALLYN:  “About time. I’m ready to kick your butt!”

Tallyn watches Theo deal the cards out and she organizes hers by color and then wilds on the end. She watches Theo and then sees that a blue four was laid face up in the discard pile. She smirks at him before laying a skip and then a blue two.

TALLYN:  “I’m so going to win.”

4:30 P.M.

The coffee table in the hotel room that the two were sharing was now covered with junk food. There was popcorn, MMs, skittles, strawberry flavored Twizzlers, sour gummy worms, gummy bears, and chocolate covered peanuts. Theo was asleep on the floor in what appeared to be a sugar coma and Tallyn was browsing through the TV guide on the television.

TALLYN:  “Boring. Lame.  Saw that earlier. Repeat.”

She was growing even more tired of not being able to find anything interesting on the television. And there were only so many times that she could beat her brother at UNO before it became boring. She tosses the remote on the counter and lets out a frustrated sigh.

TALLYN:  “I really need a guy friend…”

She was talking to herself, she knew that Theo was asleep on the floor and she was pretty much left to her own devices. She tosses and turns on the couch before grabbing her cell phone and beginning to once again scroll through Twitter. She sighs when that too becomes repetitive and boring, so she tosses the device on the coffee table as well before she gets up and walks over to the bed and climbs onto it before standing up and starting to jump on it again, as if she was a child.

TALLYN:  “This could count as exercise…”

Again, communicating with herself wasn’t always the funnest thing to do but she didn’t want to bother Theo. She bounces a few times before falling onto her bottom and laying back against the pillows. She stares up at the ceiling and blows out a breath of air that she hadn’t known she was holding.

TALLYN:  “I don’t want to face Evie…”

She wasn’t ready to face one of her fellow people. Friends? She wasn’t sure that she could consider Evie a friend. But she respected the hell out of the woman and she wasn’t going to deny that Evie was talented in the ring, even if she had been reluctant to actually compete in the tournament. She wondered if Evie was being holed up in a room with Ben Jordan. It was an interesting thought to entertain in her head.

TALLYN:  “Lucky bitch.”

She hadn’t meant the term in a bad way but yet, it still spilled from her lips even though nobody could really hear her say it. She knew that Theo was dead to the world and could sleep through a hurricane.

TALLYN:  “And I don’t even know if Jack’s prepared for the hot mess that is Mark ‘the Dragon’ Cross. And pfft. Who even says their name like that? It’s as annoying as he is.”

Her words fell upon deaf ears and the walls of the hotel definitely wouldn’t talk. She props herself up to look down at her sleeping brother’s form before she lets her upper body fall against the bed again and she lets out a frustrated noise.

TALLYN:  “The coronavirus can go suck a dick for all I care. Limiting me in my life. The fuck it think it is?”

It was really only her first day on self isolation and wasn’t sure if she could handle many more days of it. At least not in England. Maybe she could have handled it in Vegas because she definitely could have explored the strip whether or not she could have gone inside. But she didn’t even know where the heck she was or where she could go here without being reprimanded about being out and not flattening the curve of the stupid virus that had made the World go mad.

TALLYN:  “I wonder if everybody else is as bored as I am…”

7:00 P.M.

Theo watches as Tally tosses a piece of spaghetti at the wall and he shakes his head as she tosses another noodle to see which one would fall first. The things she was doing to keep herself entertained was also slightly entertaining him as well.

TALLYN:  “I’m tired of living the quarantined life, Teddy. That virus should just fucking disappear just like Bobbie Dahl did a few weeks back.”

Theo laughs before taking a bite of his own pasta and then looking over at the spaghetti noodles that were still stuck to the wall. Tallyn just pushes her pasta around on her plate before sighing out audibly.

TALLYN:  “What the hell am I supposed to be doing with all this time!? I’ve gone on three runs today and four walks! I am growing bored of that and this hotel room is starting to feel smaller than it really is! When will the madness end, Teddy!? When!?”

She tosses her fork down and crosses her arms over her chest.

THEO:  “I don’t know, Tal. Maybe you should call Gabriel and get in a training session that way.”

Tallyn gives him a look before rolling her eyes at him.

TALLYN:  “Right, Teddy, because Gabriel can train me over the Goddamned phone!”

Tallyn huffs a little bit before leaning back against the couch a little more. Theo shakes his head once more at his sister before shoving a bite of his breadstick in his mouth. He chews slowly as Tallyn pouts a little bit before she takes a bite of her own pasta, finally deciding on not starving herself.

THEO:  “No, you’re right. He can’t train you in the physical sense. But he could help you with your promo that you’re going to have to do against Evie by the end of the week. He could maybe give you advice that you could work with. Not all training has to be physical, Tal.”

Tallyn gives Theo a skeptical look but eventually sighs, knowing that he was right. She should have known that all aspects of training didn’t have to be  physical.

TALLYN:  “You’re right….”

THEO:  “I know.”

He smiles at her as if he had just won the lottery by getting her to admit that he was right. She rolls her eyes at him before tossing a noodle at him.

TALLYN:  “I don’t even want to face Evie this weekend. I had kind of hoped that maybe we’d both make it to the finals and that was when we had to face one another. I don’t think that I’m ready to face a talent of her caliber.”

Theo listens to his sister and can hear the anxiety in her tone and watches as she picks at her food. He reaches over and pats her hand in a supportive, brotherly way.

THEO:  “You’re ready, Tally. You’ve been at Gabriel and Odette’s gym for over a year now. You had your first match almost two weeks ago and you won. This is just another block in the way to get you what you want. I know that you want to prove yourself to everybody and you will. But you can’t be scared to face Evie.”

Tallyn frowns a little bit but definitely understood where her brother was coming from. He did always have a more rational head than she did when it came to things. She alway got way too nervous and sometimes worked up about things that she didn’t have the power to change.

TALLYN:  “How come you’re so smart and calm? Why couldn’t I have gotten blessed with those qualities!?”

Theo smirks at his sister.

THEO:  “Because I clearly got all the good genes from our parents.”

Tallyn tosses a piece of her breadstick at him and shakes her head at him.

TALLYN:  “Or you’ve never had to deal with much stress because I was busy taking care of you. Jerk.”

Theo chuckles at his sister.

THEO:  “Seriously though, you’re ready to face Evie. Just because you didn’t want to face her until the end, doesn’t mean that you can change it now. You and Jack got booked against Evie and Mark for this Sunday, that’s not going to change. You can do your best to prepare for it and go into the match and give it your everything. That’s all you can do.”

Tallyn still had an uneasy look on her face as she pushes the pasta around on her plate. There was still something eating at her and Theo could see it on her face.

TALLYN:  “And what if I lose, Teddy?”

She looks up at him, the worry written in her eyes.

THEO:  “Then you lose.”

She just blinks at him, her mouth dropping open a little bit. She hadn’t expected him to say that at all.

THEO:  “Just because you might lose a match, shouldn’t stop you from going out there and giving it everything you got. And besides, I’m pretty sure they’ll be another match for you in SCW. Just because you might lose the tournament, doesn’t mean that you’ll be done with wrestling. You’ll just have to get what you want in a different route. That’s all.”

Tallyn smiles at him before grabbing her phone.

TALLYN:  “You’re the best little brother a girl could have.”

She stands up and ruffles his hair up as she goes to call Gabriel and talk strategy with him.

FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2020
SCENE TWO.
LOCATION:  READING, BERKSHIRE, ENGLAND

<text align=right> <p align=”Right”>

It had been FOUR days of social “distancing” and while, she wasn’t sure what England’s current rules were about it, she’d gone ahead and made herself and Theo do the social distancing that the United States was doing to stop the spread of COVID19. But now, she had to talk about her match at Climax Control. Jack and herself were booked against Evie Jordan and her partner, Mark Cross. But since she was continuing to do the social distancing until Sunday, she had found an empty business meeting room and had her laptop to start a LIVE stream to SCW’s website. It was really the best that she could do, given the circumstances.

So, she sat at the table with the laptop open in front of her and she had the webcam on but had yet to start streaming. Her blonde hair was in dutch braided pigtails and there were a few pieces that had fallen out and were framing her face. She had on a simple white tank top and a pair of destroyed jeans, not that it mattered because all the camera could catch of her image was from the middle of her ribcage and up. She also was sporting a hospital mask that she had over her chin for her own special use. She clicks a few buttons and soon, she is starting to stream LIVE.

TALLYN:  “This is new…”

She smirks a little at the camera.

TALLYN:  “At least to me. I had big plans for this video until the Coronavirus decided to take the World and literally turn it upside down. People are being forced to stay at home and businesses are being forced to close. Or at least, that’s what the news has been saying. I haven’t left my hotel room that often. Only for a walk or a run and that’s it. Otherwise, I’ve been doing my part in this whole ‘social distancing’ bullshit.”

She rolls her eyes as she fiddles with the mask.

TALLYN:  “See, I even have a mask to make sure that the virus doesn’t get me through the webcam.”

She winks at the camera before leaning back in her chair.

TALLYN:  “I was looking forward to doing all sorts of things to promote my upcoming tag team match with Jack Washington against Evie Jordan and Mark Cross. Meet and Greets, press conferences, and all that. But this virus has taken the World by storm and people are losing their Goddamned minds. I only hope that Evie isn’t cooped up with Mark...because Mark’s life would more than likely be in jeopardy.”

Tallyn smirks again before fiddling a little more with the mask.

TALLYN:  “How does this virus affect SCW and its matches?”

Tallyn shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN:  “Maybe I’m the only one, but it’s changed how I’ve had to prepare for my match against Evie and Mark. I haven’t met with Jack because of that stupid, fucking virus and it’s not very convenient for either of us. But I guess we don’t have much of a choice. Because the virus is beyond our control, much like this match is.”

She makes a disgruntled noise before leaning forward and placing her arms on the edge of the table, one on top of the other.

TALLYN:  “I never wanted this match to be this early on in the Blast From the Past tournament. I wanted both Evie and I to make it to the finals and then face one another. But as it has happened, we don’t seem to get a choice in the matter. One of us will be done in the tournament after Sunday…”

She makes a slightly annoyed face.

TALLYN:  “And while I respect the hell out of Evie, I really hope it is her and Mark. Because I still have a lot to prove as a rookie…”

She pushes the few pieces of her hair that had fallen in her face behind her ears.

TALLYN:  “Evie, while I respect the entire ground you work on since we come from the same origin of training, I can’t help but to think that maybe you don’t want this. Of course, I want to see you smash Christina or whatever name she is going by now’s face into the canvas but I even more so want to do it myself.”

She smiles at the thought of being able to do it herself.

TALLYN:  “I may be new to the scene and to SCW but I’ve done my homework; I’ve watched old tapes and looked at old promos, trying to get a feel of some of the people I’d get to work with and against. And you know what?”

She tilts her head to the side as she looks at the webcam. The image was slightly grainy and she had chosen a black and white lense instead of color, giving it that old time feel.

TALLYN:  “Christina changes her name just as much as Evie changes her mind about things. And that’s not a dig at Evie, it’s just something I’ve noticed when I went through the tapes.”

She doesn’t seem to hold any emotion in her face as she looks at the camera, trying to sit still and not fidget in her seat.

TALLYN:  “You want to be champion or you don’t. You want to do this or you don’t. And just recently, you didn’t want to be a part of this tournament. You had even almost refused to show up for the tournament. I mean, I get it. When your partner is as annoying as Mark Cross, I might understand it. The man can’t keep coffee in a cup to save his life and is constantly bothering Hot Stuff Mark Ward’s personal assistant, Mikah. So maybe I do understand your unwillingness to not want to take part of this tournament…”

She holds a smile on her face.

TALLYN:  “But I also see that you want to be back on top of the division, Evie. Because isn’t that what every Bombshell that is signed to SCW wants? To obtain the gold that Christina currently has in her possession. It is the top prize that a Bombshell can obtain. It is the main attraction and I have never wanted something more than I want that gold.”

She tries not to have that hungry look in her eyes as she didn’t want to appear to be desperate for a win.

TALLYN:  “I’ve never had something in my life to be proud of. I’ve never had somebody in my life be proud of me for the things that I’ve accomplished and Evie, you have that with Ben Jordan. But I’m not going to pick your marriage apart or your personal life; that’s not what we’re here for and I have a lot of respect for you to do that to you. Plus, if you and Ben Jordan aren’t couple goals, than I don’t know what is.”

She winks at the camera. She was finding it hard to find something bad to say about Evie. While her nature sometimes seemed harsh, Tallyn really couldn’t find anything negative about Evie. Sure, sometimes she had a bad attitude but Tallyn exactly knew that her own attitude wasn’t always that great.

TALLYN:  “And your in ring work is superb, so I can’t really complain that I’m stepping into the ring with somebody who doesn’t know what they’re doing because you do know what you’re doing. You are one of the greats in the ring and stepping into it against you is something I’m honored to be doing on Sunday.”

Tallyn smiles at the webcam again.

TALLYN:  “I mean stepping in the ring with you is definitely a step up from getting into the ring with that thing that I had to face two weeks ago on Climax Control.”

She visibly shudders at the vague thought of facing Bobbie Dahl.

TALLYN:  “I know, I know...I’m new to the company and I shouldn’t be dogging a person that has been here longer than I am but come on, that thing whines and bitches more than Jessie Salco does. It’s annoying but an-y-ways, I don’t have to focus on her this week.”

She takes a moment to think and get herself back on track.

TALLYN:  “You and Mark Cross might be an unstoppable team, Evie. And I commend you for working with somebody like Cross, who appears to be everything he says he is. Is he good in the ring? It appears so. But do I have complete and utter trust in Jack? Yes. I believe that Jack can handle his own when it comes to stepping into the ring against Mark Cross.”

She smiles at the camera again.

TALLYN:  “Just like I believe that I can handle myself when it comes to stepping into the ring with you, Evie. I’ve been preparing myself mentally for this moment as I knew that eventually it would have to happen because even if it hadn’t been booked for Sunday, we eventually would have found ourselves booked against each other and the inevitable would happen. Two of Gabriel and Odette’s students would find themselves in a ring, squaring off against one another.”

She pauses for a second before continuing on.

TALLYN:  “And while I’m sure that some imbeciles will be waiting to see exactly what happens between us when we do face off and see who is better, I’m going to make them see that I have been working my ass off to be the best that I can be in the ring. I never take anything lightly and I know what this tournament has at stake for me. I also can’t be naive and forget that you’ve won this tournament before. And I know that you were reluctant to take part in this tournament this year but I also know that you’re smart.”

She taps her index finger to her temple two times.

TALLYN:  “And I know that you know what a shot at the Bombshell Championship means. It will restart your career and boost you back into the scene where you thrive and are always at your best. I loved watching the Climax Controls where you were the Bombshell Champion, Evie. The way you held yourself and the way you were as a champion should definitely be something to be marveled at. And should definitely be studied because you were a class act as a champion whether people liked your or didn’t like you, it didn’t matter because they respected you and that’s what I want…”

Tallyn takes a deep breath.

TALLYN:  “I really, really don’t care if people like me or not but I want them to respect me as a person and as a competitor. I want to be the person they look up to and say that she was great to step into the ring with. I don’t want to be the one where people mock and make fun of, nah uh. I want to be the best version of myself that I can be. And well, if I have to beat you to do it, I will.”

She shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN:  “Although, during this COVID19 bullshit, we’re not supposed to be within six feet of one another, so how the hell are we going to put on one hell of a match?”

She smirks and winks at the camera. If one can’t have a little humor in the dark times of this time period, what else can they have? They already can’t have social gatherings.

TALLYN:  “I’m kidding, so don’t send the police after me for making a poorly timed joke.”

She sticks her tongue out at the camera before leaning in just a little bit. She hadn’t planned to do her promo this way but she wanted to flatten the curve to this stupid outbreak and staying in was the only option. She felt fine but she knew that it didn’t take much to become infected with the virus and while she’d recover easily from it, there were people that wouldn’t. People much worse off than she was.

TALLYN:  “Sunday is fast approaching us, Evie. And I already know that you’re prepared to step into that ring against me and give me everything that you’ve got. And while I’m ready for it, a part of me is just as not ready for it. Because you’re definitely better than I am and I already know what people will say if I beat you. They’ll say it is a fluke win and that I got lucky. Or if Jack is the one to achieve the win for our team, they will put all of the success on his behalf.”

She simply shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN:  “And Jack’s a great partner and has done everything he can to keep his end of the bargain up and I don’t have to worry about him going off on a parade through the hallways of the arena to keep himself entertained. I know that he’s serious about this because he knows what a championship shot means. And I know what it means for me and for my career.”

She takes a deep breath and slowly lets it out. She could feel that she was nervous and she was trying to push the nerves away, wanting to appear more confident than she felt. She knew how respected Evie was backstage and at Gabriel and Odette’s training center. She knew how much she respected her opponent and only wanted to prove that she could hack in the ring against her.

TALLYN:  “Sunday’s going to be here soon, Evie. And this social distancing bullshit is going to be put on pause and we’re going to have to step into the ring against one another. Everything is going to come to a head and we’re both going to see what the other is made of and I hope…”

She pauses to crack a hopeful smile at the camera.

TALLYN:  “That at the end of the match, no matter who wins, we can shake one another’s hands. Because we will have given our everything and relied on our sheer talent.”

She smiles again, showing nothing but respect. She really didn’t have anything bad to say about Evie. She winks again before putting the mask back over her mouth and nose and shuts her laptop.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 27, 2018.
2:45 P.M.

<text align=right> <p align=”Right”>

Tallyn sighs as she walks into her family’s house and sets her purse and bag down. It had been an exhausting day working at the park and now she only had about an hour and a half to shower and get ready to go to her night job. Sometimes, having two jobs really sucked but she liked the extra money and it helped keep her siblings afloat when their father was too busy to remember that they needed food. It wasn’t that he wouldn’t give them money if they asked, they just didn’t want to ask. They felt that they bothered him and that he was too busy to even care.

THEO: “Tal? Is that you?”

Tallyn frowns as she hears Theo shout from where she assumed he was in the living room. She sighs before walking into the living room to see Theo holding an uneasy look on his face and she didn’t realize why until she looked around the corner to see their mother, Athena standing there.

TALLYN: “What the fuck are you doing here?”

She didn’t care if she was blunt or not. And she also didn’t care that Athena was their mother; to Tallyn, all she was was the woman who gave birth to them.

ATHENA: “Watch your mouth, Tallyn Arielle. I am still your mother.”

Tallyn lets a cold laugh slip from her lips as she looks her “mother” over.

TALLYN: “No you’re just some bitch who gave birth to me and my siblings.”

Tallyn watches as her “mother” clenches her jaw, clearly not liking Tallyn’s words of choice. But Tallyn didn’t care what her mother liked or disliked, she just wanted to know why the hell she was in the house.

TALLYN: “So are you going to tell me why the fuck you’re in this house? Or are you going to leave?”

Tallyn points to the door before looking at her mother.

ATHENA “Is it so wrong of me to want to see my children, Tallyn!? You act like I’m a horrible person!”

Tallyn groans and lets her head fall back as she looks to the ceiling.

TALLYN: “You ARE a bad fucking person, Athena! You are not a good person and fucking aren’t a good mother! I don’t know why you think that you can just come back here like you own the house! Jesus! Grow the fuck up, Athena. So tell me what you really want so I can not see your face again.”

Their mother just looks at Tallyn and then over to Theo, who just shrugs his shoulders. He was indifferent towards their mother but also held a little bit of resentment toward her.

ATHENA “I...just wanted to see you guys.”

Tallyn groans audibly again, realizing that their “mother” wasn’t just going to spit it out. Tallyn folds her arms over her chest and gives her mother a dirty look. She knew that her mother wanted something, but she didn’t know what.

TALLYN: “Well, you saw me and you saw Teddy, you can fucking leave now.”

Athena frowns a little at Tallyn again before she looks to Theo, hoping for a bone. Or something that could resemble some hope for her case.

ATHENA “I haven’t seen Tessie or Tatey yet…”

Tallyn rolls her eyes.

TALLYN: “Good because every time you do stop by every eight to ten months, you mess with her head and she’s fucking brat for two weeks after you’ve ditched us again. And her fucking name is Tesla, she’s not a baby anymore. And don’t get me started on Tatum..”

Tallyn spit the words out as if they were poisonous for her to say. Athena just sits on the the love seat that was across from the chair, looking at her oldest child.

ATHENA “I know my childrens’ name, Tallyn. I birthed them and gave each of you your names…”

Tallyn lets another laugh slip from her lips as she looks at her mother. She runs her fingers through her blonde locks as she walks over and stands between her and Theo. Theo got out of school every day around 2:30 and it was only 2:45 pm, meaning that both Tesla and Tatum would be home in about twenty-five minutes or so. Tallyn really wanted their “mother” to be gone by then.

TALLYN: “Wow!!  Surprise, surprise. You actually know our names. That might actually be a first, Athena.”

Athena looks at Tallyn, an irritated look on her face.

ATHENA “I am your mother, Tallyn Arielle! You should not be calling me by my first name.”

TALLYN: “My mother?! You think that you’re my mother!? A mother is a person who fucking takes care of her fucking kids! What the fuck have you done in the past nineteen years of my life!? Or the last seventeen years of Teddy’s life!? Or better yet, the last fucking TEN years of Tatum’s life!?”

Tallyn was full out shouting at Athena by now.

TALLYN: “I was only ten years old when you had Tatum, Athena. But I was the one who took care of her when you fucking ran off to do who the fuck knows what. I changed her diapers, I fed her her bottles, I walked her to daycare when our father was supposed to be sleeping or at the hospital. I raised her, not you but you waltz back in every so often and she thinks you’re back for fucking good. And then when you leave, her world crashes down around her and me and Teddy have to pick up the fucking pieces and glue her back together.”

Tallyn takes a breath as she stares at Athena, who just looked back at her and held a smirk on her own face, as if she knew something that Tallyn didn’t. Tallyn looks at Theo, who shrugs his shoulders as he wasn’t sure what Athena was getting at.

ATHENA “I...you….”

Athena stumbled over her words as she tried to confront her daughter about what she’d said but Athena couldn’t argue with Tallyn, because Tallyn was right. Tallyn had taken care of Tatum when she was little and made sure that she got what she needed.

TALLYN: “Exactly. Now tell me what the fuck you’re doing here.”

Athena smirks as she glances up at the clock and then almost like clockwork, Tallyn’s father Wilder walked into the house. Tallyn frowns as her father was almost never home this early. Tallyn shares another uneasy look with Theo before looking at the doorway as her father walks into the living room.  He looked tired and Tally knew that he’d been up for a while doing surgeries and rotations and whatever else came with the job as a surgeon.

WILDER: “Athena, what is so important that you made me leave the hospital?”

Even his voice sounded tired and drawn out a bit. Tallyn knew that if he was going to get mad, it was going to be a blow out. Tallyn shoots a dirty look at her mother, as Athena sat there with a gloating look on her face as if she was about to win some big prize or as if she knew a secret that  Tallyn didn’t know. Tallyn looked over at her father, who looked utterly exhausted from his long hours that he put in at the hospital.

ATHENA: “I just...I found something out, Wild, and I thought you’d want to know.”

Tallyn looks over at her mother before looking at her father. She was not sure what was going to come out of her egg donor’s mouth. Tallyn runs a hand through her blonde locks as Theo, too seemed unsteady about things that were happening.

WILDER: “What? Whatever it is, spit it out because I don’t have the patience or the time to deal with your bullshit today, Athena. I sent you money last month, I’m not sending you anymore.”

Tallyn hated hearing that her father was still sending her mother money and so often to leave money for his children to have food. She didn’t hate her father but sometimes, she felt as if she could. Sure, he provided a good house for his kids and made sure the necessities that it took to have a house were paid. But when it came to groceries, clothes, or personal hygiene necessities? He often forgot about those and it was left on her.

ATHENA: “Do you know what our daughter has been doing to make money, Wilder?”

Tallyn’s face goes pale white as she realizes just what her mother was about to do. She looks at Theo, who shakes his head.

WILDER: “...She works at Disney World, Athena. I already know that because she tells me. Is that really why you came here? To throw a fit that Tally is working at Disney World?”

Tallyn could hear the exhaustion in her father’s voice as he tried to keep his patience with Athena but she could tell he was growing even more exasperated with Athena’s bullshit. But she didn’t know how to stop Athena from spouting off her evening job.

TALLYN: “Cant you just make her leave, Dad? Tatum and Tesla are going to be home soon and I really don’t think they should see her.”

She tried to keep the desperation out of her voice as she looked at her father. Theo seemed on edge as well.

ATHENA: “Your daughter is working at a strip club, Wilder.”

The news of Tallyn’s night job being out in the open and what it was, seemed to wake her father up. Tallyn watches his face as the realization of what she did in the evenings hits him. She looks at Theo and then back at her father.

WILDER: “Tally, is this true?”

He turns to look at her and she looks at her feet as she tries to think of a legitimate excuse of why she was working at such a place. But there was nothing that could be said of it.

TALLYN: “Yes…”

Wilder rubs his face with his right hand, trying his hardest to keep calm and Tallyn can see that he was doing so.

WILDER: “Why!? Don’t I provide you with enough money?”

The fact that he was clueless was enough to make Tallyn shake her head, her anger beginning to take over her emotions.

TALLYN “What money!? Dad, you may pay all the house bills, the electric bills, the internet, the satellite bills, but I buy everybody’s clothes and necessities. I buy the groceries because you forget to. And I should ask you for the money, but I always feel like I’m a pain in your side when I ask for it. So, it was just easier to get another job to make sure that the fridge and pantry was always stocked. Or that Tesla and Tatum had enough clothes to get through the day. And so that Tatum doesn’t have to wear too small shoes because her feet are still growing! It was just easier.”

She knew it wouldn’t be something that he’d want to hear but she couldn’t hold it back anymore. Her father would have definitely given her the money but she didn’t want to bother him because he spent the majority of his time at the hospital. He was always so busy and she didn’t want to feel like her and her siblings were a burden, so she took on the task of financially supporting them. She put her dreams of wrestling on hold, and was there for her siblings because who else would have been?

WILDER: “Easier!? It was easier to get a job taking your clothes off for some low-class men!?”

She knew that he would be angry about her choice in a job but she didn’t think of it to be as bad as he was making it out to be. He didn’t understand the things that it took to make sure that her siblings were well fed and dressed well enough to not be made fun of at school. And that was her goal; it wasn’t to make sure that her father’s ego or pride wasn’t something she felt that she needed to worry about.

TALLYN: “Are you ever here, Dad? And yes, I know that you sleep here most nights but are you ever really present in any of these kids’ lives!? No, you’re not. You don’t even know that Teddy has been on the honor roll every year since he got into high school or that he has the highest GPA in his class.  Do you know that Tesla is really good at drama club and has gotten the lead in the play every semester? Do you know that Tatum loves to play softball and works every day to get better at the sport? I work my ass off at Disney World and at the club so that those three can do their absolute best and not worry about whether or not we’re going to have food in the fridge or on the shelves.”

Her father didn’t seem to be anymore happier with her response than the previous one.  He rubs his face a little, trying to clear his head as Tallyn stands there, a little out of place.

WILDER: “Theo, Tesla, and Tatum are my kids, Tallyn. You do not have to take care of them.”

Tallyn could hear the restraint in his voice and she could tell that he was trying to keep his anger in check. But she didn’t care; he didn’t know one thing about any of them and she was going to be damned if he told her how she was going to live her life.

TALLYN: “Tell me ONE thing about any of them, Dad. Tell me Teddy’s favorite color or Tesla’s best friend’s name or even, Tatum’s favorite color because I bet you fucking can’t. You’ve never been there for any of us and I had to give up a full ride to the University of Miami so that somebody could be present in their lives. Because we all know that it isn’t going to be you; your job as a surgeon is much more important than some kids you had with some used up bitch who prefers drugs over her kids.”

He clenches his jaw as Tallyn spouts off at him and Athena sits there with a smirk on her face. Tallyn knew that she probably pushed her father too far but she didn’t care. It had to be said because he needed to wake up and realize that his kids were going to grow up with or without him in their lives and she only hoped that he realized what a mistake he had made in choosing his job over them.

WILDER: “Get your shit and get out, Tally. I won’t have you living here anymore and talking to me like that and working at that whore house.”

Her whole body seemed to go numb as his words sank in and she looks at him, in surprise. She had never expected him to actually kick her out. But yet, here he was doing it anyways.

WILDER: “Now, Tallyn. Go pack a suitcase and leave. I’ll give you money to get a hotel but that’s it.”

Her “mother” sat there on the couch with a smug look on her face as Theo stood up and hugged Tallyn. Tallyn hugged Theo back before she turned and ran upstairs, the tears in her eyes threatening to spill down her face. She refused to let him see her cry; it wasn’t something he deserved. She shoved as much of her clothes in a suitcase before getting to her make up and hair things and making sure she could get the most of those as well. She grabs another suitcase and packs it with her shoes and anything else she saw fit. She hesitates, seeing her blanket from when she was a kid and grabs it and throws it in her suitcase as well before going downstairs to see her mother hugging Theo. Tallyn clenches her jaw and grabs the money that her father hands her.

TALLYN: “You’re making a mistake, Dad. Theo is set to graduate in May and he won’t be sticking around like I did.”

She didn’t let her father get another word in as she walked out of the house and pulled her things behind her. She already had a place in mind and it wasn’t in Florida; instead it was in Las Vegas, Nevada and it was something she’d had her eyes on for over a year.

MONDAY, MARCH 2, 2020.

Tallyn sighs as she looks at her phone before looking around the training center as it was pretty empty. She never felt more at ease anywhere else in the world except for in Gabriel and Odette’s training center. She knew she was meant to do this and the way it was going only made things that much better. She jumps when she hears the front doors open and then slam shut. She waits but doesn’t seem anybody enter the gym.

TALLYN: “Anybody there?”

She turns around slowly, looking around the gym as a slightly eerie feeling starts to fill her stomach. She had never not felt safe in the gym and had thought it to be one of the safest places in Las Vegas.

TALLYN: “This isn’t funny…”

She feels arms wrap around her from behind and she screams before doing a defensive move and tossing the person to the ground. She turns around quickly and relaxes when she sees her brother, Theo laying on the ground in slight pain. Or what looked to be in slight pain but he also held an amused look on his face.

TALLYN: “Teddy!”

She was surprised to see him. For siblings, they were more like best friends and she hadn’t seen him in person since her father kicked her out fourteen months ago. She helps Theo up and hugs him. She felt her heart beat faster against her chest as she hugs him, a smile spread across her face.

THEO: “Jeez, Tally....try to kill me, why don’t you?”

Tallyn blushes a little but lets go of Theo to look him over before hugging him again. She missed her siblings and only wished that her father would see eye to eye with her. It wasn’t as if she didn’t talk to him; he messaged her about eight months ago, apologizing for being rash and had wanted her to return home but she couldn’t. She loved wrestling and just didn’t want to give anything else up.

TALLYN: “I’m sorry! But I didn’t expect you to be here. What are you doing here, Teddy?!”

Theo smiles at her and shoves his hands in his jeans pockets before shrugging his shoulders. She was surprised and it was a good surprise. It actually couldn’t have come at a better time, if she was honest.

THEO: “I transferred to UNLV. I thought we could actually be brother and sister again. And before you ask, Tesla and Tatum really miss you. And Dad does too.”

TALLYN: “I miss them too…Except for Dad, I don’t miss him.”

She gives him a small smile as the admission slips from her lips. There wasn’t anything wrong with admitting that she missed her sisters. But she didn’t need that brought up right now, not when she was working hard to be ready for the Blast From the Past Tournament. It only made her sad to think about her sisters growing up without her in their lives. She wanted to see Tesla graduate high school and maybe one day become famous. She hoped that Tatum was still as into softball as she was over a year ago. But she couldn’t think about that; it wasn’t what she needed to focus on at the moment.

TALLYN: “Do you want to go to York, England with me?  I have my first official match this Sunday and I would really like it if I had a familiar face there.”

Tallyn seemed a little on edge as she watches him and waits for his answer. She knew that he would probably agree to go as he wouldn’t disappoint her. She shouldn’t be worried about it but yet, here she was waiting for his answer. She had become her own person since moving to Las Vegas. Things weren’t always great and she had some weird roommates but she was making it on her own. She didn’t need to rely on her Daddy’s money or her good looks to make something out of herself. But she did miss the friendship she had with her brother.

THEO “Of course I’ll be there for you, Tal. You were always there for me. Plus, I get an opportunity to use my passport.”

Tallyn smiles before hugging her brother again, feeling a lot more at ease than what she was before. The next six days were going to be a whirlwind and she only had a little time to prepare for them.</text align=right> </p align=”Right”>

FRIDAY, MARCH 6, 2020
2:45 P.M.
LOCATION: CLIFFORD’S TOWER, YORK.

<text align=right> <p align=”Right”>

The scene opens up to Clifford’s Tower Castle in York, England. The camera was zoomed out enough to show the entire building before it moves in to see Tallyn sitting on the top of the building, her legs dangling over the edge. She was sporting a pair of jeans and a crop top that showed her midriff. If the camera moved closer, the goosebumps on the young girl’s skin would be seen due to the chilly, England weather. The weather in York, England was vastly different from the weather in Las Vegas, Nevada and it was safe to say that Tallyn had gotten quite used to the warm climate that the desert brought her in Vegas. She hadn’t thought to pack warmer clothes and was vastly unprepared for the chilly weater.

TALLYN: “On Sunday, it’s going to be my first match ever.  In SCW and in the wrestling community. My first match in the Blast From the Past tournament. AND my first ever tag team match.”

She smiles at the camera before pushing her blonde locks out of her face. The wind every now and then picked up and blew her hair back into her face, which was a mild annoyance but nothing that she couldn’t handle.

TALLYN: “There’s going to be a lot of firsts happening this weekend, for me at least.”

She hesitates, that new nervousness still settled there. But she was going to be determined to make sure that her newbie status wasn’t going to stick. She’d been training for over a year and she believed that she was ready for her first ever match.

TALLYN: “But you know what won’t be a first?”

A cold, calculated look passes over her face as she looks into the camera. It was a look of confidence, her nerves starting to wear off as she got used to the camera more and more.

TALLYN: “Bobbie Dahl losing and then bitching about it on Twitter. And threatening to quit.  Again.”

Tallyn shrugs her shoulders at the camera.

TALLYN: “Whining and bitching, whining and bitching on Twitter again and again. Because that’s what she does; that is her trademark move and that is exactly what everybody expects out of her. But since when does whining and bitching get you everything that you ever wanted? I wasn’t aware that that was what one had to do to get what they wanted. I thought you had to put in actual work to get somewhere.  Silly me.”

She laughs before rolling her eyes.

TALLYN: “And I’m sure she’ll whine and bitch about me bringing it up on Twitter or hell, even in a segment on Sunday but you know what? If she doesn’t want people bringing it up, maybe she shouldn’t threaten to quit when she realizes she isn’t as great as she thinks she is.”

She holds an unapologetic look on her face but then looks around, trying her best not to shiver before she puts her full focus on the camera.

TALLYN: “And I know I don’t have a right to talk about her win loss record when I myself do not have one yet. But then again, she shouldn’t be such a big, whiny bitch about it. But what has she really accomplished in SCW since she joined? Other than being the one big bitch that nobody can really tolerate.”

She makes a face of disgust before leaning back, placing her hands behind to embrace her upper weight.

TALLYN: “Did she honestly think that she was going to beat Roxi Johnson at My Bloody Valentine? Because from what I’ve heard and understand, Roxi Johnson is one of the hardest competitors to face in the ring because of how dedicated she is in that ring. Is that me knocking Bobbie Dahl’s talent in the ring? No, not at all. But her personality?”

Tallyn makes a disgusted face and then sticks her finger in her mouth to imitate the look of disgust.

TALLYN: “It really needs some work. Or a tune up, even.”

She pauses as she looks up at the dreary sky before focusing back at the task at hand.

TALLYN: “And don’t think that I have forgotten about that little stunt you pulled on Odette weeks ago on Climax Control. I warned you at My Bloody Valentine that you’d get what was coming to you. And while I didn’t think that we’d meet up this early in the tournament, I’m rather glad that we did.”

A smirk and a slightly sinister look appears in her eyes.

TALLYN: “Because what I am going to do to you in that ring, Dahl, is going to make what you did to Odette look like child’s play. I mean, everybody understands that you’re jealous of Odette because look what she’s got going for her. . .”

Tallyn smirks again, that same look staying in her brown eyes.

TALLYN: “She has a great family and everybody likes her. She’s kind and patient and beautiful. She has amazing kids. And she has one of the top rated training centers right now that is bringing out top tier talent. What more could somebody want in a mentor?”

Tallyn raises an eyebrow at the camera.

TALLYN: “And then there’s you, Bobbie Dahl…”

She makes an uncomfortable face, as if it pained her to talk about Bobbie Dahl.

TALLYN: “You aren’t even remotely attractive. You look like a fish out of water and as if you don’t belong in such an elite place like SCW. You don’t have a family that everybody adores and you don’t have any qualities that I would consider remotely redeeming. So maybe it makes a little sense as to why you chose to attack Odette. Jealousy is an ugly monster and it isn’t doing you any favors, Bobs.”

The wind picks up a little and blows Tallyn’s hair in her face and she once again pushes it back out of her face.

TALLYN: “Do I think that I can beat you, Bobs? Of course. But you know, this match isn’t just about me and you, Bobsie….it’s a tag team match. I have to rely on Jack Washington to be able to get the job done when he’s in the ring with that retired Casey Williams….”

She holds a slightly anxious look on her face, for just a split second as if trusting somebody else with getting the win was that painful.

TALLYN: “I have to trust that Jack is just as good in the ring as I am sure that I am. I have to trust that he wants the win just as much as I do. That’s what you do; you have to put trust in your partner throughout this entire tournament to go anywhere.”

Admittedly, she had trust issues. She knew that but she had come to trust Gabriel and Odette, she was sure that she could come to trust Jack if she had to.

TALLYN: “Can you trust Casey Williams, Bobsie?”

Tally raises an eyebrow with a smirk on her face.

TALLYN: “Can you put every ounce of faith you have, no matter how little you have in him? Can you honestly say that you’re going to walk to the ring on Sunday night and believe that you and him can work as a team, as a unit?”

She smirks at the camera, her eyes twinkling with a slight mischievous look in them.

TALLYN: “Because what I’ve seen from you and have heard about you, you’re nothing but a big, selfish bitch. And you can’t seem to see past your nose to see the bigger picture.”

She shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN: “But hey, I’m new...what do I know?”

Another shrug rolls off of her shoulders with ease.

TALLYN: “I believe in Jack and that’s he can handle the old bag of bones that is Casey Williams. I need not worry about Casey; I’m going to leave that to Jack. Put all of my trust in Jack to be able to get the job done while I focus on you, Bobsie.”

She gives the camera an overly fake sweet smile.

TALLYN: “Because that’s just the kind of person I am, Bobsie. I’m going to make you regret ever laying a hand on Odette Stevens. And I’m going to make both her and Gabriel proud in one full swoop of things.”

She stands up and dusts her hands off.

TALLYN: “It’ll be almost like you were never in this tournament. THAT’S how fast you’ll be done with this Blast From the Past.”

She hesitates before turning back to look at the camera.

TALLYN: “I almost can’t wait to see you bitch about another loss on Twitter and another title opportunity lost.  Almost.”

She winks at the camera before walking away to get down from the top of the castle building and get back to the warmth of her hotel room.
