Rebounding after a tough loss
« on: June 05, 2014, 05:22:17 PM »
The scene shows Andrew Garcia walking around with Casey Williams in the Bronx, specifically at the corner of 161st Street and Rivera Ave, which is known as Yankee Stadium.  They are going to buy tickets to watch Masahiro Tanaka make the start against the Minnesota Twins.  They walk over to the box office to purchase the tickets, then walk over towards Gate 2, because that is the quickest way to their seats once inside the stadium.

Casey-So, how do you feel not having the Roulette title anymore?

Andrew-Well, it doesn‘t bother me too much.  Yeah, I know it was nice having it and the extra money that came with being champion, but I am so much better than the Roulette division, that I am ok with losing to that punk Kain.

Casey-Yeah, true. Then again, Kain was less predictable than I thought he was going to be.

Andrew looks at Casey with annoyance as they walk towards Monument Park after entering the stadium, which is the Yankees tribute to their former players, managers, and other personal that either worked for them, or meant a great deal to the game, like Jackie Robinson, who broke the color barrier for the game of baseball.

Andrew-Yeah, I was surprised that Kain kept referring to himself as Alex throughout his promo.

Casey-Agreed, but boy, did you light a fire under his ass, verbally attacking his wife and kids.  I bet he didn‘t expect that.  It was also refreshing to see Ariel be used more.

Andrew-I guess.

Casey-I got a surprise for you when we get back to Vegas.

Andrew-What is it?.

Casey-Well, I found someone who is willing to train you in some Jujitsu and Judo, so we can add different stuff to your move set, make you more dangerous.

Andrew-I can‘t wait to meet him or her.

Andrew looks at Casey, and smiles nervously, feeling confident in himself as he looks up just as they arrive at Monument Park and before they enter, he hears Remember Everything by Five Finger Death Punch playing in his iPod, and in which Andrew reacts to the opening chords of the song, even before the opening lyrics hit.

Andrew-Son of a bitch!  Why did this song have to come on right now?  MOTHERFUCKER!

Casey-Calm down Andrew!  I know how you are feeling.  You need to take a few deep breathes and talk to me.

Andrew freaks out, pacing at the foot of the entrance to Monument Park and cursing, having flashbacks to when he was 13, and beating up some kids who were making fun of him for being a nerd during recess.

Patrick-Look at that geek over there!

Patrick and his gang of friends walk over to Andrew and start pushing him around.

Patrick-You are a loser.  Nobody likes you.

Jorge-Let‘s kick his ass.

As Jorge says this, Patrick punches Andrew in the face, knocking Andrew down in the process.  The gang start kicking Andrew while he is down on the ground.  Andrew tries covering himself, but fails to do so.

Patrick-See, Andrew, this is what happens to those who watch Star Trek, and those who do their homework and get straight A‘s.

Juan-I despise people who are too good for their own good.

Shortly thereafter, a group of teachers break up the fight, and one takes Andrew to the nurses office. Meanwhile, the other teachers escorts the gang of kids to the principals office.

Principal Juarez-Why did you guys attack Andrew like that?

Patrick-He was running his mouth about how smart he is.

Principal Juarez- You guys are lucky he wasn‘t seriously injured in the attack. He has a couple bruised ribs, and black and blues all over his face.  I am sorry, but you all are suspended for the next month.  I hope that teaches you all a lesson.

Casey tries to hold Andrew still to calm him down, eventually calming him down by just repeating his name over and over during the course of a few minutes without getting violent and Andrew slowly snaps out of his flashback.

Andrew-Did I ever tell you about the time I got mugged by 6 boys during recess.

Casey-You might have, I forget.

Andrew-Well, there were 6 boys, lead by the quarterback named Patrick, who didn‘t like me because I was too by the book back in school, and Patrick and his friends were jealous of how easy schoolwork came to me and everything. Instead of asking me for help, they decided to kick my ass.  They ended up getting suspended for a month, and in turn, getting kicked off the football team for it.

Andrew smiles when he thinks of the look on Patrick‘s face when he gets kicked off the football team.

Andrew-Serves him right. I got the last laugh.  A few years later, while I was in the Blood, I ran into him, with some of the guys I became close with, and they knew about him kicking my ass, and we got revenge on him for it.

Casey-I can imagine.  I hate bullies who think they are better than everyone else because they are gifted athletically, but don‘t have the smarts to know when to ask for help, and just beat people up and expect the kids they beat up to do their homework for them.

Andrew-You know what, I absolutely agree.

Casey-I imagine you would.

Andrew and Casey enter Monument Park, despite Andrew’s need to clear his mind and gather his thoughts after the flashback before he calls out Steve Ramone as they head towards the first monument on the route, which is Babe Ruth‘s monument.

Steve, Steve, Steve.  You are truly one of a kind, and I do not mean that in a good way.  I mean, it takes a lot of guts to try to sing “Remember Everything“ by Five Finger Death Punch.  Unfortunately for you, you don‘t have the range of emotion that Ivan Moody has when he sings it, and you are a terrible singer.  You should stick to your day job.  Oh wait, you suck at your day job too, so you should get out while you still can.  I have been in SCW for what, almost 4 months?  Well, I have done more in the short time I have been employed in SCW than you have since you joined SCW, which was sometime in 2013. I have more championship reigns in SCW than you do.  Yeah, you had a nice feud with Gabriel, and defeat my mentor in your first match, but besides that, what else have you done in SCW?  Joining NXT?  I mean, I know Spike Staggs has had some success with some of the people he has, or had, in NXT, including my mentor, Casey Williams.  Spike has managed champions, most recently Electra Styles.  Spike has been Heavyweight Champion, Jordan PS Williams defeated Spike for the title, and teamed with Casey Williams to hold the tag titles.  Casey also held the Roulette title. Giani Di Luca also held the Heavyweight title as well as the tag team titles.  We know Misty and Vixen held the Bombshell title, the tag titles and both Vixen and Jessie Salco held the Bombshell Roulette title.  Ben Jordan was the last ACW Champion when ACW was still open, and we know he was a member of NXT during that time, even though ACW was our sister company.  I know I have the skills to kick the everlasting shit out of you, just like Gabriel did, and at least when I do, I can proudly say I did 2 things that my mentor couldn’t do, beat Brother Grimm and Steve Ramone.  You may remember everything, but you will definitely remember the ass kicking I bring to you.  It will be so much worse than any ass beating you have ever received before, even worse than the one you suffered inside the Lion’s Den match. You saw my loss to Kain.  The abuse I took in that match and the abuse you took inside the Lion’s Den combined will pale in comparison to the pain you will feel come Climax Control. Remember this, I have accomplished more in less time than you have in your SCW career, and that makes you pathetic, and I pity you because you think you can defeat a man like me.

Andrew has a cynical smile on his face as they arrive at the last monument, and then Casey and Andrew walk towards their seats, while Andrew is looking content with himself and his comments as the scene fades to black.
