  Down, but not out.

I thought I was ready, but I wasn't. Not this time. But next time, and yes, there will be a next time, I will be ready, and I will take that title back. Gothika, enjoy the victory, gloat all you like, because at December to Dismember, you did earn all of that. But you need to understand just one thing, you can knock me down, but you won't keep me down. Facing you has been an uphill battle, but it's something I'm going to get over sooner rather than later. The time is drawing close Gothika, be warned.

Now, the next step is underway. What I have to do is simple. I am going to eliminate every single challenger that could be in line for the Bombshell's title. I'm going to beat them all. So at the end of the day Gothika, at the end of all this, there's only going to be me, standing here, waiting for you. That's right. I thought about taking some time, perhaps letting someone else have a shot at the title. I thought about stepping back and really weighing my options. But that's out the window now. I know exactly what I have to do, and how I'm going to do it. I will take that title back from you Gothika. I'm going to raise my game to another level. And you're soon going to realize that the next time we step into the ring against each other for that title, you will know exactly how outmatched you are. You have two victories Gothika. Enjoy them, because when I get my opportunity, I'm going to take not only that title back, but everything you tried to take from me. It's all coming back to me.

An that starts on Sunday with Amy Marshall.

Amy may be the Roulette champion, and I am proud of her for not only winning that title, but holding on to it. But the simple fact is I do not want the Roulette championship. I do not want to beat her that title. I just want to beat her so there is no off chance that she gains a title match against Gothika. Because Amy, as good as you are, as successful as you've been, I am simply on a mission. And I'm not going to stop until I get the title shot against Gothika and finally take the vampire down.

Amy, I know you understand. I know you will give it your all on Sunday, and that's what I want. But the fact of the matter is, while things get in the way of us all the time, I can't have you in the way past Sunday. I really do wish you the best with the Roulette championship and everything else, but on Sunday, I'm going to have to beat you.

The path to being the champion again begins this Sunday, and into the new year. It's what I must do, and it's what I'm going to do. Because as I look around the landscape of SCW, it seems that I am needed in more places than one at the moment, from rude, obnoxious losers to people claiming to be saviors, there's a lot of work to do in SCW.

But first things first, a mixed tag against Amy Marshall. Amy, I hope both you and Goth are ready, because I know I am. And Jeremiah, you can always could on me to be a partner when you need one.

Let the hero's journey begin..

Oh yeah, Merry Christmas everybody!

[ Roxi sits depressed, sitting on the roof of a tall building, next to her favorite gargoyle. ]

Roxi – Not now, Herman, I’m not in the mood.

[ Roxi lurches forward, resting her head in her hands. She begins kicking her dangling feet. ]

Roxi – I don’t even know anymore. Andrea is gone, and I’m all alone again. I usually like being alone, but Andrea was a really great friend and partner. Now what do I do? Any suggestions?

[ Roxi stares back at the statue as if she’s listening to it. ]

Roxi – I guess. There’s really nothing left for me to do but move on. I see your point, but you know how hard it is sometimes. It just seems that things fall apart for me. And always at the wrong time.

[ As if on cue, there is a massive explosion of a building in the center of town. The force is so powerful it actually knocks Roxi back off the edge onto the rooftop. After she gets her bearings, she  opens her wrist communicator.

Roxi – Vision, there was an explosion just now.

Vision – I know. We’re trying to find out what it was.

Roxi – Whatever it is, it’s powerful.

Vision – Rox, I know how good you are, and I don’t say this much, but…you might want to stay away from this one.

[ Roxi scowls and looks offended under her mask. ]

Roxi – What are you talking about? I can handle it.

Vision – No Rox, not this time.

Roxi – What? You don’t think I’m ready? I told you I’m fine. I can handle this.

Vision – That has nothing to do –

[ Roxi angrily closes the communicator and fires off her grappling hook, swinging towards the explosion. She sets down just a few buildings away, peering around for any signs of life. There isn’t anyone around. ]

Well, looks like nobody’s around. No signs of anyone at all.

[ Roxi gets a little closer to the building as fire engines are heard in the background. But then,  seemingly inside the building, voices can her heard. ]

Oh no, they’re trapped in there!

[ Forgoing safety, Roxi swings into the building as the voices grow louder. Donning an tiny oxygen mask from her utility belt she frantically searches, using the voices as a guide. As she gets as close as she can, she finds the voices behind a door. Oddly, the door seems to have been untouched by the fire burning around it. Roxi shoulders the door, and it doesn’t budge. She grabs the doorknob and oddly, it’s not heated by the flames. She swings it open and inside there is a man chanting at an altar. ]

Man – ARISE! , ARISE PRIME! THE TIME IS NOW!

Roxi – Hey pal…I –

[ The man turns toward Roxi with a startled look on his face. ]

Man – Interloper! You won’t stop me!

Roxi – I need to get you out of here!

Man – No!

[ The man shoots a few magical blasts which Roxi is able to avoid, the last one he shoots however, traps her in a magical box. She pounds on the box, which does not break. ]

Magic. Wonderful. [/i] [/color]

Man – You will pay for trying to interfere. You won’t stop me from bringing him back!

[ The man casts one last shot into the magical hole he’s created, but in doing so, releases Roxi. She tackles him, but not before the magical hole gets really big. ]

Roxi – What the heck did you just do?

Man – I brought back Prime! Hail to him. You and your heroes will be no match for him!

Roxi – How do I close that hole?!

Man – It’s too late. Bwahaha.

[ Roxi punches him in the face. ]

Roxi – Tell me!

[ Before the man can answer, The hole begins making noise and suddenly shifts into a doorway. The light coming from the doorway engulfs the room, and instantly, the raging fire is put out. It disappears and the smoke smolders. Then from the doorway, comes a man in a business suit. He calmly walks through the door, dusting himself off. Roxi stops and stands to face him. ]

Man #2 – At last!

Roxi – Who…or what are you? What is going on here?

[ The second man begins stretching out a bit, before placing his arms behind his back. ]

Man #2 – Do not tempt me child, I am Dorian Prime. I am finally free of that pitiful prison I was locked away in all those years ago. Now, at last, I will have my revenge.

Roxi – Not so fast Mister. I don’t know who did what to you, but this is my city, and I am it’s protector. You want revenge, take it somewhere else.

Dorian Prime – Please. You cannot stop me.  Now that I am free, there is no one powerful enough to stop me.

Roxi – Don’t bet on it.

[ Roxi assumes a fighting stance. Prime cocks his head quizzically. ]

Dorian Prime – Do you mean to fight me? Do you not understand who I am? I will crush you…

[ Dorian stops and ponders this for a moment. ]

Dorian Prime – No. You need to feel how I felt. Ostracized. You dared to interfere with the ritual to bring me back, so now you will know how it feels.

Roxi – What are you –

[ Dorian raises his hand and an unbearable noise is heard. Roxi holds her ears trying to silence the sound, but it does little to help. The entire building and the surrounding area begin shaking. Everything begins to crumble and the room spins as Roxi looks around, trying to figure a way out.  The light doorway become bigger, and bigger, until Roxi, Dorian, and his helper are engulfed in it. The sound still continues, and Roxi cannot fight any longer and passes out … ]

[ Time passes as Roxi slowly awakens, but in her own apartment in bed, as opposed to the building. She stumbles around trying to regain her equilibrium. ]

What the heck was all that? Did I dream that?

[ Suddenly, a giant metal arm crashes through the window and wall. It snatches Roxi and pulls her to the top, where Dorian is waiting. ]

Okay, well, it wasn’t’ a dream.

Roxi – LET ME GO!

Dorian Prime – I don’t think you are in a position to make threats.

[ The arm shifts and dangles Roxi by her leg over the edge of the roof. ]

Dorian Prime – Now, you will listen to me.

[ Roxi, faced with no other options, nods silently. The arm picks her back up. ]

Dorian Prime – Welcome to your new home. This is your new reality.  Enjoy it. Because the one you were in…is about to be destroyed.

[With that, Dorian disappears, and the arm tosses Roxi onto the roof.  Roxi slowly gets up and walks to the ledge, and peers down at the city, which…seems dystopian. Roxi eventually makes her way down the building to street level. Where the entire city is in a police state. We see a man litter, and a police van rolls up behind him, and take him into custody and throw him into the van. Roxi thinks better of it, and heads back to her apartment, where her computer sits. She opens it and turns it on. After a few moments, the computer boots up. Roxi attempts to establish a connection, but a screen pops up that reads: Connection is a violation of internet curfew. Roxi closes the computer down and turns on the TV, looking for some kind of answer. ]

TV Anchorwoman – … Which makes sixty capture vigilantes captured by the police. The now outlawed guild of superheroes has few remaining members, those who are currently underground.  The so-called super villains have long since been eradicated and most are locked away in a maximum security super prison wing outside Kent city. The police are demanding anyone with any information on the remaining heroes contact the police at once.

What in the world? Heroes and Villians…we’re both outlawed?

[ Roxi opens her closet and finds her costume and puts it on. She then slips long pants and a long sleeve shirt on over it. Completely covered, she quietly leaves her apartment, in search… ]

Well, this was a grand idea. I have no idea who or what I’m even looking for.

[ She continues to walk, thinking of something to do. ]

Wait, there’s always some kind of resistance out there. Someone breaking the law. I have to find those that are good at it. Very good at it. I just hope he’s still around…
