OOC: Not gonna get a chance to do this later today so, getting it done now.  Best of luck, CJ.

Last week – Gavin had returned to Sin City Wrestling.  His surprise return a few weeks prior had at the very least captured the imaginations of the Sin City Wrestling public.  Would he be here to throw a wrench into the plans of his wife, Mikah?  Or would he join alongside her?  The two had been in quite a bad situation as of late, often times fighting and having a rather rough time getting along.  But – were things really in that dire of straits?  Things had seemingly been on a bit of a lighter note for the two after a recent discussion betwixt them.  They seemed to settle things at least somewhat, but would they remain settled?  They had their issues like anyone else, but, would they manage to overcome them?  With that weighing down on his mind, he still had to worry about the fact he had a match to deal with on the next issue of Climax Control as well..  He really had his work cut out for him to keep riding that wave of momentum he had going for him thus far.  And he wasn't about to let anyone get ahead of him in line.  Especially this CJ Sharpe guy..

It was rather early in the morning when Gavin awoke in his bed.. He moved around a bit, adjusting himself as he removed his arms from around the waist of Mikah. Whom had seemingly returned to sleeping in the same bed with him. He pressed against her, peeking over her shoulder as he looked her in the face.

    GAVIN STEPHENS

“Hey Mik.. Time to get up babe. We've got work to do today.”

He said in a low tone of voice as he looked at his sleeping wife, nudging her gently as he laid in their bed. He let out a short yawn as the sun beamed through the windows and into the room. He hated having to get up and get to work, and even more so, waking her up. But – they had things they needed to do today. He knew she had matches to worry about, and he himself had one to deal with as well.

    MIKAH
“Go away.  I’m the bombshell champion; I get to sleep in. “

She smacks his hand away from her in a childish manner as she pulls the pillow back over the back of her head, shielding herself from him.  He laughed a bit as he continued to lay back in the bed.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“Does being the bombshell champions husband get me the same right to sleep in?  Because I could use the rest.”

He said jokingly, realizing he probably didn’t need that much rest.  He’d been at home a bit but, still, he had to ask.  Laying back against his pillow as he looked over at his wife, relaxing a bit.

    MIKAH
    “I don’t care.”

She was mumbling and wasn’t even sure that he could hear her words but she literally did not care at the moment.  He pulled the pillow from her face, leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.  Then gave it back to her, flipping back over to his side of the bed where he grabbed his phone and began to flip through it.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
    “Okay, okay grumpy.”

He said jokingly as he began to flip through his phone, adjusting himself in the bed as he looked through a few texts and other things.  In comparison to her, he was wide awake, and soon would be getting up and going.  Though, he most definitely hated to leave her.

    MIKAH
“If I get up, I’m going for a five hour run..”

She mumbles a bit before turning onto her stomach and burying her face into the mattress.  He forcibly turned her toward him, flipping her around.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“Oh come on, Mik.  You’re always like, so eager to get away from me in the morning.  Lemme tell ya, it’s a huge bummer.”

He said with a laugh as he looked her in the eyes, shrugging the whole thing off a bit.  Though he was just a little bit offended.

    MIKAH
“Since when have I ever been a morning person?”

She frowns at him before laying back down, ready to sleep again.  He looked her in the face and shrugged.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“Good point.  Listen, when you’re ready to get up, I’m gonna head downstairs and make something for breakfast.  You can join me, if you’d like.”

He said with a smile as he leaned in and pecked her on the lips, then stood up and began to get dressed. She watches him before shrugging.

    MIKAH
“And when have I ever ate breakfast?!”

She wasn’t trying to sound growly, she was just pointing out the obvious.  Coffee was normally her breakfast.  Or well, something from Starbucks.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“I mean, I make a pretty mean coffee.”

He said with a laugh as he began to pull on a pair of pants.  Moving around the room a little bit, grabbing a few things he needed for the day.

    MIKAH
“Starbucks quality?  I don’t think so.  Maybe I’ll just go on a run anyways.”

She shrugs as she pulls her blonde locks up into a ponytail before getting out of bed to get dressed.  He walked over and wrapped an arm around her.
    GAVIN STEPHENS
“Come on Miks.  Hang out with me, you can run anytime.  But, you know, we haven’t actually gotten on as well as we are right now in how long?  Forgive me for wanting to bask in the glory of my Bombshell Champion wife just a little longer.”

He said ever so smoothly as he looked her in the face, grinning from ear to ear.  Wondering if anything was having much of an effect on her.

    MIKAH
“It’s early in the morning, trust me you don’t want to be around me till after my run anyways.  Endorphins make you happy, you know.  Maybe you should try running to get rid of that pudge..”

She hits his stomach with the back of her hand and then tugs on her capri length yoga leggings before tugging her long sleeved dri-fit shirt.  He laughed as he looked over at her, thinking about it.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“Promise you won’t run off without me?”

He said with a smile as he adjusted himself beside of her, really tempted by the idea of giving it a shot, at the very least.  What could it hurt, right?

    MIKAH
“I make no promises when I run.”

She offers a small, half smile as she sits on the bed and tugs on her socks before grabbing her NIKE shoes and puts them on.  He grabbed a pair of running shoes and the like, getting himself together as he walked over beside of her.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“Oh come on, even for me, your beloved husband?  We’ll get you another dooog.”

He said, trying to entice her a bit with a cheeky grin across his face.  Pulling the shoes on after taking a seat beside of her.  She just laughs before shaking her head.

    MIKAH
“No, no.  You know the conditions on when I run; this isn’t news, Mister.  Actually, I should probably bring Dexter with.  I don’t want him getting chubby, like you.”

Gavin chuckled and shrugged it off.  He knew she was playing around, but still.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“Hey, you try being married to you, and not have a chubby.”

Gavin looked around a bit, awkwardly as he finished getting dressed.  Then walked over to the door, leaning against the frame.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
    “Oh, you said being.  Gotcha.”

He said playfully, wondering what her response was going to be.  He hadn’t really had the attire just lying around to run, a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers weren’t the best running sort of look but..  he supposed it would work.

    MIKAH
“You’re going to be dead, I hope you know.  I don’t run like a sissy.”

She points to his jeans and then walks off for a moment to go find Dexter.  He gave her rear a slap as she walked by, then began walking after her.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“You are aware I’ve been working out, lots, right?  I didn’t just roll out of bed and return to SCW.”

He said with a shrug, wondering if she understood that.  Making his way down the stairs as she went to look for the dog.  She finds her dog asleep by her still packed suitcase from the supershow and scoops him up.  She carries him downstairs as if he was a baby before putting his harness on him and then hooking his leash to the designated loop on the harness.

    MIKAH
“Do you wanna go for a run with mommy, Dexter?!”

She coos at him before looking over at Gavin.

    MIKAH
“You do know that running is different than working out, right?  I probably couldn’t quite hack it in a gym some days but I could run for miles.”

He walked over to the front door, opening it up as he looked back at Mikah and shrugged.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“Well, I’ve been working the leg muscles so, I should be fine.  I’ve also ran the ropes a lot..  this is just..  running a distance.  I’ve got this.”

He said with a shrug as he walked out their door and into the hallway, waiting for her to catch up.  She just pats his shoulder in a sort of condescending way but not in a mean way.

    MIKAH
“When you’re wheezing for breath and you’re on your deathbed, I’ll call an ambulance.”

He looked around confused like, walking down some nearby stairs, taking his sweet time as she followed after him.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“Wouldn’t I..  wouldn’t I need to be on the ambulance first to be on my deathbed?  I mean, the ground isn’t a bed..”

She just smirks before shoving him.

    MIKAH
“You’ll be dying on the ground because I can’t lift you.  So, there you go.”

She starts to run, not worried about the pace being too fast for him.  The scene came to a close with Gavin chasing after her, trying to keep up..  Would Gavin Stephens finally die like so many had dreamt of?  Or would he surprise her?

Sometime later, we caught up with them some time away from the hotel they had been at.  Mikah was ahead of Gavin, but, surprisingly, he was still in tow.  He noticed her coming to a stop, as he caught his breath.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
    “...  S..  surprised ya, I know.”

He said as he caught his breath, placing his hands on his knees as he leaned down and caught his breath.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“Remind me to never run in a pair of jeans..”

She laughs before leaning down and petting Dexter between his ears.

    MIKAH
“I told you so, chubby. Not too bad but I'd stick to the gym, if I were you.”

She walks to the kitchen of the hotel suite and grabs a lemonade flavored coconut water before getting Dexter his water bowl and filling it with Smart water for him.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“I almost had you..  Almost.  …  Hey, you gonna be around for a bit?  No pressing matters to attend to?  I mean, it’s still a while till showtime..”

Gavin questioned as he walked into the hotel room, leaning against a nearby doorway and trying to catch his breath.

    MIKAH
“I don't know. I haven't checked my phone to see if Christian the idiot has anything set up for me. Why?”

She looks at him as she takes a drink of her flavored coconut water.  Gavin moved in close to her, proceeding to give her a kiss on the lips once she’d gotten her drink.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“Well see, I was thinking, I could take you back to bed, and proceed to you know..  romance you, or something.”

He said with a laugh as he wondered what her thought was going to be on that, reaching out and taking her by the hand curiously.

    MIKAH
“I have to check my phone. This is why I'm going to fucking hire somebody to take care of my calendar and all that.”

She shrugs before walking to grab her phone.  She checks a few things before sighing.

    MIKAH
“In roughly 45 minutes or so, I have to go appear at some autograph signing. Annoying. But I do have 45 minutes…”

He shrugged it off as he closed the door behind him and looked at her.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“So, I have your attention for 45 minutes?...  I think we can make that work.”

He said with a smile as the two of them walked off towards the bed.  The scene coming to close, seemingly ending on a much brighter note than one might of expected, given the two of them had been getting along rather terribly as of late.  Perhaps it was a sign things had begun to look up just a little bit?!

Eventually, we picked up with Gavin sitting on a steel chair in a derelict looking building.  He sat there, looking down at the floor.  It was dimly lit and shining all around him, only for him to look up and glare into the camera.  He had done what he needed to against Halc, but what was next for Stephens?!

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“As it turned out..  I did exactly as I said I would and I beat Kris Halc..  I succeeded in my return to the company, but, where now, Gavin?  Where could I possibly go from there, right?  The options are really all over the place, there's oh so many things I could do.  So many things I should do, as a matter of a fact.  But I will make that all perfectly clear a little later on, for right now?  You CJ Sharpe have the misfortune of being the man chosen to step into a wrestling ring with me next..”

Stephens paused for a moment, considering his options here.  What was he to say?  What was he to even do?  CJ Sharpe hadn't had as much exposure in this business as he had.  He was an unknown, and the unknown was never a good thing in professional wrestling.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“I can't say I'm all too familiar with you, CJ.  I don't exactly pay attention to the common man, the lesser man very often.  As a matter of a fact, I don't personally care about you, CJ Sharpe.  What I care about is simple..  me and mine.  Everything I do, every action I take, every move I make is to make my life better.  To increase my quality of living, and to do that..  I have to decrease the quality of yours.  You call yourself the Hardcore Hitman, you claim to rule all..  I am a god damn Visionary, son.  And right now?  All I see before me is a little boy in over his head, someone who has been thrown into the deep end without any support, without any floaties, without any way to swim on his own..  I will let you sink, CJ.  I will drag you down to the bottom of the waters, tear you to pieces, and leave whats left of you there to rot.”

Rage and anger filled his voice, the man clearly had little patience.  Little drive to sit around and wait any longer.  Right now, he seemed fully dedicated to action.  Even if those actions were to be in the detriment of his opponent.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“And you get to face me..  The pain and punishment I intend to administer upon you will redefine your nightmares, it will give you something truly to be afraid of, 'Norwegian Nightmare'..  Because I'm going to show you the true meaning of fear.  You'll beg me to stop, you'll cry, you'll plead, you'll do anything you can to escape.  But with me?  There is no escape, CJ.  I will grab you by the legs and drag you back out from under your bed, all the way back to the ring if I have to, with you kicking and screaming the entire way..  I keep talking, reciting things about my vision, whether it is one of total annihilation of my opponents or otherwise..  But right now?  My vision of the future has become abundantly clear, my future to be exact.  And my future, CJ?  It does not finish here.  It does not end.  It does not cease, and I will lay my path, I will build my legacy on your broken, beaten, battered remains.  I will pry your eyes open with these fingers if I have to and I will make you see, I will illuminate you, before I end you of just what this company is about to witness.”

He had begun to take things a bit far, he was aware of that.  But – if hurt this guy was what he needed to do to make his mark, then he would do it.  It was as simple as that.

    GAVIN STEPHENS
“...  Then I'll toss you aside like I do with any trash.  Don't worry though, don't be scared...  Gavin Stephens isn't going anywhere.”

He said rather mysteriously as he began to laugh in a rather sinister tone.  The scene coming to a close as Stephens disappeared from the scene completely, still keeping up with his rather clear attitude change.  To say the personality of Stephens had became a bit warped, and a bit darker than it had in the past was an understatement.  But – would his new found fascination with violence truly extend to CJ Sharpe?!  Or would Sharpe score that upset?!

Gavin had for whatever reason been away from professional wrestling for some time..  A lot of folks attributed that to his issues with Mikah, his wife.  But to be honest, his issues with Mikah had no bearing on his wrestling career.  He cared for her, he always would.  That was a fact of life in and of itself.  The main reason he had been away for so very long was one much, much more simple.  It was a reason that had tried, and tested his patience on numerous occasions.  But the reason was, for a time, he had simply fallen out of love with professional wrestling.  He had stopped dreaming of gold, he had stopped caring about in ring activities.  He felt he had done what he wanted to do in his previous promotion, Uncensored.  He had been Television Champion, primed for a spot against the World Champion one day.  He was well on his way, and then he ultimately felt like if he had gotten that far in his very first foray into the pro wrestling world on a major promotion..  Well, where could he possibly go from there?  It was a hard act to top, a act he wasn't sure he wanted to top.  So – he made the decision to walk away, as simple as that.  He knew Sin City Wrestling would be alright without him for all these months.  Everything would go on fine..  Just as he had always expected it to be.

He had quit dreaming of a day where he dominated wrestling.  In fact, it had gotten to the point where he felt..  somewhat bored if anything.  It was disappointing to say but for once, he felt like maybe he'd not done all he wished to do.  But all he had wanted.  As a result, he had taken his time off and began to get back in touch with a side of himself he had long thought lost.  Gavin felt he had grown softer, nicer, all of that over his time in wrestling.  Weird to say, sure, but – he had grown complacent and lost some of the vicious streak he felt was an absolute requirement.  It had been smart to walk away, to figure out whether or not he could even find that killer instinct again.  Sure it had gotten him on the wrong side of his own wife, but, believe it or not, while he did miss her..  He couldn't go through life faking the idea that he even cared in the slightest about the world of professional wrestling.  Because to be fair, at the time, he did not.  Inevitably though, it all managed to come back around full circle.  After some time of relaxation, not putting the work in necessary to be a wrestler, training and the like..  His interests slowly became rekindled.  It had taken a while, but finally he began to dream of things regarding professional wrestling once again.

    \'user

And his dream had been one of Mikah and himself, united with gold on both of their shoulders.  This of course took him back, see, the goal when they first came together with their wrestling talents, even prior to the marriage, was to see them both succeed.  To see them both capture gold and become a 'power couple' of sorts.  Unfortunately, things were in dire straits with Mikah right now, the two of them having various issues.  But – he was back now, and while the dream might not of been possible right now, perhaps he could at least perfect a portion of it.  Perhaps he could finally have the run in Sin City Wrestling he had wanted.  This of course meant bad things for the very first man set to oppose him, the first individual set to go toe to toe with a seemingly revitalized Gavin Stephens..  The man who had once been the scourge of Uncensored Inc.  A man who was as crass, as mean and as violent as anyone.  He didn't desire to be a visionary for a better day, anymore.  A man who wanted to brighten Sin City Wrestling and make it a better place.  Oh no.  Gavin Stephens new vision was one of complete and total anarchy.  And at its helm of course was him, he came in with the intent..  The desire to usher in a brand new age.  A brand new day for Sin City Wrestling, one where everyone would suffer under his hand.  That included his opponent on this day, Kris Halc.

We pick up in a local gym in New York where Gavin happened to spend most of his time when he wasn't at home and the like.  He sat with a few folks near a ring where some young guys happened to be putting on their own matches and the like.  Gavin was a little bit sweaty in his workout gear, kicking back as he chatted with a rather large gentleman beside of him.

“Weird thing is..  I actually miss when she was pissed off at me, in person.  In comparison to this whole mean tweet bullshit she does..”

Gavin sighed as things began with him sitting in a gym where he had been training for his wrestling comeback, taking a sip of his beer as he looked over at a few of his oldest friends.  The main one he was talking to was a large former wrestler type by the name of Mike.  They had been interrupted talking about his situation with his wife.  Which of course was a somber situation indeed, a tough one to talk about considering at this time, he wasn't even sure what their situation was.  And to be honest, he still wasn't.

“If you ask me, it's pretty disrespectful.”

Mike replied as Gavin just looked over at him and shrugged.  He laughed it off and shook his head, figuring it was quite the problem.  And it wasn't just as simple as that, while Mikah had done a few things, Gavin himself had been attempting to piss her off, for him simply being pissed off by her.

“Eh, I've went a bit overboard too.  Emailed her this card the other day, looked all apologetic, then you open it up and there's me flipping her off like, oops, not sorry.”

The guys all laughed as Gavin acted out his approach.  Going as far as to hold a middle finger up for effect, much to their amusement.  Stephens kicked back in his seat and took a drink of his beer again, listening to the responses from one of his friends.

“Damn brother, you cold as hell.”

Mike, the head trainer uttered as Gavin shook his head.  He wasn't cold, he was..  well, comedic in that instance.  Though, he didn't intend to remain funny for long, as many of his opponents would soon find out.  No laughing matter and all of that nonsense.

“Weird thing is – I actually am somewhat sorry about a few things.  But I know that woman, she'll never apologize for the negative shit she does.  Why should I be the one who has to be sorry?”

Gavin spoke honestly and from the heart briefly, a bit of a different thing for him to do. We so often saw how mean and negative Gavin was in the past, it was a weird change of pace to see a hint of honesty come from him.  One could imagine that was one of the perks of his newly found clarity he had spoken of.

“You shouldn't, man.  Marriage is a two way street, when one way just doesn't want to budge, eventually, you know what it ends in.  The big d.”

Obviously Mike meant divorce, as Gavin seemed to think about that for a moment.  Divorce meant giving up in his book, quitting.  And Gavin didn't like to quit, not in anything.  He was a winner, after all, and do winners quit?  Nah.  Winners always chose to soldier it out and prosper.

“I don't think taking my pants off in front of her is going to help..  Then again, I mean, that worked this one time.”

Gavin responded humorously, as the guys around the gym all belted out laughing.  Of course, big D was not exactly what he had been thinking.  No, Mike didn't want Gavin to take off his pants in an attempt to apologize to Mikah.  He was just simply warning Gavin of what could potentially come to pass if neither budged.

“No man, it ends in divorce.”

Mike clarified as Gavin thought about it for a moment.  Not really offering up much in the way of expressions for what he thought of this.  In fact, he seemed oddly calm at the thought.  He wasn't really letting any obvious signs of any problems with, or against that come out.  Which was somewhat odd.

“Eh, me and her will figure it out.  Figured out worse.  Like, we were on ground zero when Liz Smalls 'happened'.  If a couple can survive that, they can survive anything.”

Gavin shrugged it off, deciding to joke his way out of it.  Of course, Stephens had many things in mind right now.  He had a match, his wife, and so on all weighing in on his conscience.  But what would he do?  Could he manage to keep this big return train rolling after everything he had been through over the last little while.

    “...  Good point.”

Various laughs were heard throughout the room as the gang happened to enjoy themselves a bit more.  All of them really having quite the laugh, though, it was mostly the old pals catching up while the rest of the younger ones all hung out and listened.  Perhaps some of them in awe of Gavin, as here was a guy who had truly turned this wrestling thing into well..  something.

“So, big match coming up Gavin?  You're back man!  Don't blow it man, all the training you went through will be for nothing.  Still don't get why you were so secretive about coming back to Mikah.  You'd think that'd of made her happy to know you were coming back.”

Mike spoke excited like as Gavin leaned back in his seat and nodded.  Then hearing him comment about why he had kept it all a secret from Mikah.  It had been a rather interesting thing, and at first, he hadn't even been sure he wanted to come back.  Truth be told, it had all been a rather last minute, abrupt decision as to him returning.

“What can I say?  I love a nice surprise.”

Gavin said with a sly smirk appearing across his lips.  He had always enjoyed doing things in a 'big' manner.  He loved the theatrics of professional wrestling, the surprise, the substance to each and every thing.  He wished to make the most of everything including the 'surprise return' spot, and well..  he had done so.

“You doing alright man?  Last time I saw you, you were happy, lighting the place up, life of the party and all that bullshit..  Now its like, I dunno, you seem sorta off?”

He was right on one thing, thought Gavin.  He hadn't been playing as many games here today, enjoying himself.  No, he was much more calm and somber.  He looked at things through a scope these days, assessing situations and the like.  He hadn't been flying by the seat of his pants and simply reacting, as the old Gavin Stephens might have.  He had changed, quite a bit.

“Me?  I'm fine.  I've just gotten a lot of..  I guess you could say clarity these days.  Seeing things clearer than I used to, and all of that.  I suppose you could say I just 'understand'.”

He spoke calmly, though still being quite vague about what he was doing.  What even his intentions were as a whole.  Seeing things clearer than he used to meant well, something.  But – it was uncertain as to what that even was that it did mean.

    “Understand?  Understand what?”

Mike uttered as Gavin just kicked back in his seat and relaxed, thinking about just how clear it all was.  He knew what was needed, he knew of the path he needed to take.  But he couldn't relay that here, he couldn't put into words just what he was about to undertake.

“The world.  How it works, what I need to do, and so on.  Anyways guys, I've got to go get some work done.  Kris Halc probably won't go too easy on me, nor would I expect him to.”

Still as vague as ever, he stood up and looked to the guys and smiled a bit.  Then began walking as he waved off in their direction, heading toward the exit of the gym as he heard someone speak out from behind him.

    “Later 'bud.”

As Gavin sauntered out the door, he uttered the following word.  Still full of thought about what was about to take place in Sin City.  He was really ready, ready to give it his all and make an impact the likes of which had never been saw before.  It just took the right drive to do so, and fortunately, Gavin had found his.

    “Peace.”

This of course brought everything to a close with Stephens heading towards his car and hopping in.  He sat inside as he pulled out his wallet and peeked down at it, pictures rolling out of it of him and Mikah together during better times.  Still blankly looking at it as the scene came to a close, still with further questions about just what it was going through the so called Televisionarys head.

Eventually, we were treated to a on camera scene of a pumpkin, a Jack-O-Lantern to be specific with a face carved out of it.  A candle burning inside of it as the cameras scanned the streets to see numerous places with various things like this.  It was Halloween and of course people decorated.  Gavin Stephens was seen sitting on the sidewalk smocking a cigarette in a dimly lit area, watching a few kids and their parents pass by as he looked up into the camera.

    “Been a while, huh?”

Gavin spoke rather deadpan, matter of factly as he looked into the camera.  He was dressed in all black, as if it weren't hard enough to see out and see him due to the dimly lit street.  He of course had to add to that by wearing this dark clothing out into the night like this.  He looked more as if he were dressed for a robbery than a Halloween celebration.

“I'm glad you all remembered, if I'm honest..  I'll be the first to admit that my initial run in Sin City Wrestling wasn't anything legendary..  I did some cool things, did some bad things.  But – it wasn't anything to write home about.  No need to bring that up, I've made it easy.  I admit it.  I suppose there is solace in the fact that a Stephens, even if it is not myself, is currently dominating one of your divisions but..  It just isn't enough for me.”

He said with a sly smile slowly appearing across his lips.  Why would Mikah succeeding have been enough for him?  It made sense.  He was back, and he had goals.  He had aspirations.  The question was, what were they?  What did Gavin Stephens desire upon his return to the fold?  Was it something simple like a lower card belt?  Or was he finally gunning for something even higher up the roster?

“The thing I keep hearing is, why did I come back?  Have I came back to stop Mikah from drinking with Mark Ward..  That whole situation is sad and pathetic, in and of itself.  In fact, I'd be very happy if Mark Ward drank something laced with something and simply keeled over never to be seen again..  But I digress, that is not why I am here.  That is not a part of my agenda, or my criteria for returning to Sin City Wrestling.  My return serves one purpose, and one purpose only.  And that is to get championship gold around my waist in this company for the very first time.  That means winning, that means getting that prime position, that means..  Well, a lot of bad stuff for you, Kris Halc.  I suppose that is rather unfortunate for you, and I am sorry it has to come to this for you.  But you are a former Internet Champion, you're a guy who sort of has this buzz about him.  And kudos to you, lets all give a clap to Kris Halc.  You deserve it, man.  You have your name out there.”

Gavin mockingly clapped his hands together as the camera closed in on his face.  The serious expression remaining, a stark contrast to the idea of his clapping for this man supposedly being a sort of good thing.  Stephens clearly had no intent of making this a happy moment, or truly giving the man credit where credit was due.

“The issue lies in the fact that by having your name out there, Kristopher..  You've put a target on your back.  Where all these mean, vicious snakes in the grass can slide up and strike.  Personally, I've been waiting for an opportunity to strike and who better than you!  I have not tricked myself into thinking a win over you will mean more than it does, but – the fact remains that a win here?  It's the start, I need.  A win over you is necessary for me, it is mandatory.  It will come to pass.  I will treat myself to a victory over you, and then?  On to the next one, the next one, and the next one.  See unlike all of these children, unlike all of you people on the SCW roster..  I don't wear a mask, I don't play pretend.  I don't act as something I am not.  I was born into this world to create carnage, to create catastrophe.  My vision is one of violence, Kris.  I am a visionary for a brighter day, but that brighter day is my own..  For you?  It's simply a vision of the darkest imaginable days.  You will suffer, and you will submit to my will. Kind of unfortunate that in my exodus, you were one of the few people to comment. You told me something along the lines of 'divorce Mikah', you attempted to tell me, your better what to do.  You won't make that same mistake twice, I damn well guarantee it.  You can look around and clearly see right now, as all these Halloween goers pass me by..  Monsters clearly aren't real.  But – when you step into that ring with me, I will show you horrors that will make you wish they were.  You are going to witness things that make these so called horror icons actions seem like child's play in comparison.”

He said with a laugh, sinisterly gazing into the camera.  Moving some of his hair out of his eyes as he looked into it.  Finally adjusting himself and standing upright, dusting off his jeans as he looked around the locale.  Then back in the direction of the camera itself.

“Winston Churchill once said if you are going through hell, keep walking..  But Winston Churchill never really thought that through.  You will go through hell, Kristopher.  You will be beaten down, I will find where I've hurt you and I will pick you apart piece by piece.  You will joke, you will laugh, but – it will in the end make zero difference.  Because the final sound anyone hears as our match comes to a close will be your cries of agony.  Just remember, when you attempt to look around for someone to blame..  Look in the mirror, look at yourself and realize that this?  This all happened because of you.  Because you made a choice, a small one, no less.  One you didn't necessarily need to make that ultimately came back to be the choice that finishes you.”

Finally, Stephens walked away whistling a tune as the cameras watched for some time..  Till finally his silhouette disappeared off into the night.  The intentions becoming rather clear for at the very least, what Stephens had in the cards for Kris Halc.  But – would the newly revitalized Gavin Stephens stand a chance?  If you heard him tell it, yes, absolutely.  But it remained to be seen whether or not his predictions would truly, truly come to pass..

We open up in the backstage area with Mikah Stephens walking down the hall looking voluptuous as always, and we hear the sounds of footsteps as Gavin Stephens walks up behind her.  He looked rather confident as he peered to his wife, then at the camera.  It was about time Stephens got the opportunity to main event a show, and he certainly was not going to waste it.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    "Wooo!  Cameras!  'Sup camera peoples."

Gavin Stephens stated in a nonchalant manner, as if he were happy to see the camera guys.  Then again, he was with his hot decked out wife, he had his title that he'd held forever and a day.  He pretty much had every reason to be ultra happy.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"So we're back!  And it's the usual stuff, no Santa hat for me, no none of that.  Instead, I get to fight Drexel Matheson in the main event of Climax Control.  And?!  It's a Belfast Brawl.."

Gavin Stephens left his hand on Mikah's bottom for a bit, as she gave him a smile. Gavin was distracted, who wouldn't be distracted with Mikah around?  He smiled and decided to continue forth from here though.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Now, I'm not Irish, I'm not from Belfast.  But I can certainly brawl with the best of them.  And it'll be the Brawl to end it all, for Drexel Matheson.  See, I'm in a bit of a mood tonight.  Back at Supercard, I had gold in my grasp.  Gold.  A championship.  And ya know what happened?  It was pulled from my grasp all the same.  I could have been bitter, could have been mad, could have been angry.  Well, I could be, and I am.  Because I'm in no mood tonight, Drexel.  I'm in no mood for you, or any of these other people in this arena tonight."

The boos continued to ring in as he listened to them for a bit.  Shaking his head.  He did not require respect from the fans, or anything of the sort.  It just wasn't his prerogative.  Never the less, he patiently waited for a moment before speaking once more.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Tonight marks the end of you, Drexel.  You've been really, really going down hill as of late.  More so than most.  Didn't Andrew Watts beat you, too?  Who'd of thought right?  You're not just going to have a loss on your record from one Reject.  But two of them!  And worst of all?  You have nobody to blame but the people who set you down right in my path for me to steamroll right over you.  So when you're looking for someone to blame, blame them, blame yourself, or whoever the fuck you want.  Because at the end of the day?  I will win, again."

And with that?  Mikah and Gavin Stephens walk off about their own business, as per usual.  They'd left off this little piece with Gavin Stephens being ever so confident that he was walking in as champion, and walking out just the same.  And who knows?  Maybe he was right?  We'll find out soon enough.

Climax Control Archives / "Seasons beatings.."

On the previous edition of Climax Control, we were allowed to witness Gavin Stephens annihilate Hydro.  It was expected..  It was easy.  And - it'd of been easy no matter what, no matter what Hydro did, no matter how he did it.  At the very end of the day, the result would have always..  always been the same.  Gavin Stephens going over the water boy.  That was the way things were, that was how they were always going to be, and it was time everyone understood that fact.  It was time to start further ascending forward, further moving upward through the ranks of Sin City Wrestling, though.  That required progress, that required further decimation of the citizens of Sin City Wrestling.  It required further effort on Gavin's part and fortunately, tis the season to be generous.  So the beatings..  the beatings were going to be very, very generous this year for anyone who stood in his way.  Fortunately, the stock in Gavin Stephens was rising around here.  He had proven himself far beyond those humble beginnings as more of a major threat.  And while he might of been in the opener on this coming Climax Control?

He firmly believed in the notion of starting off strongly. So starting off the program against Bo Dreamwolf?  He wasn't offended.  He looked forward to kicking things off.  Making sure the show began with a bang was no easy feat, but, if anyone could do it, it was perhaps the hottest rising talent on the roster.  He wasn't fully aware of this Dreamwolf fellow, he didn't know tons about the man and he was sort of coming in blind other than with the knowledge that at one point in this individuals history he had held onto the SCW Roulette Championship.  The man was making a comeback, sure, and you didn't want to be a returning talents successful comeback opponent.  So - there was a bit more to lose than there was to gain here.  But Stephens was ready to show the world as he always did, exactly what he was capable of.  And why Bo would wish he hadn't even bothered to come back.  It was simple, kill Dreamwolf's chances before he even had the chance to make his return felt.  To make his come back feel as if it mattered in some way.  And - who better for the job than Gavin Stephens?!

    <cENTER>= = = = =

The scene commences at the home of Mikah and Gavin Stephens, with Gavin sitting up in his study scribbling in a notebook for one reason or another.  The room was rather dimly lit and from the look out of the window, it seemed to be the dead of night.  The digital clock near him read that it was three at night, give or take a few minutes.  And for some reason, Stephens continued to write in the notepad, mumbling to himself.  Just what in the world was he doing?  No Mikah in sight so that left one to assume she was asleep, and Stephens was on his own.  Which was rather strange given the couple tended to be a bit inseparable at times.  Stephens began to mumble again as he scribbled something down upon the piece of paper..

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “...  Dreamwolf.."

He said in an annoyed tone of voice, acting as if he were deep in thought..  Why?  Well, there were reasons.  The name alone wasn't really enough to deeply perplex anyone, for any purpose.  There was some particular reason Stephens was stuck on this, consistently running it through his mind time and time again.  But why?  Why oh why would Stephens care about an opponent as much as he did this one, seemingly?!

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “Meme..  wolf..  Damnit, no."

No luck, but the words made it immediately more obvious what he was doing.  He'd referenced something on Twitter, making a bad joke earlier in the week about being Bo's 'nightmare... wolf' then stating that he would come up with better come the show.  This seemed to be him in the process of ironing out and determining just what was 'better' and what was not.  Though, he seemed to be having little luck thus far in doing so.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“Bo 'Gonna Make You' Creamwolf..  maybe if he came back with a Magic Mike gimmick.  Ugh."

Normally he would of laughed like an idiot at that one but, there was no time.  He needed better, he needed something nice and funny.  But thus far, he was having trouble in that regard.  He couldn't quite figure out something as good as he needed.  Sometimes it was easy, with people like Hydro, the name pretty much left itself open for a bunch of bad water jokes that fit, simply because he chose that name for himself.  But Dreamwolf..  that was a bit of a rough one.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“I said I'd have better at Climax Control, but, nothing!  Ugh.  What the hell is a Dreamwolf, anyway?"

Stephens sighed, trying to scrape deep into the inner machinations of his mind and figure out what could work, and what didn't.  But thus far, he was drawing blanks.  Lots and lots of blanks and there was no, no way around it all.  The man desperately required some inspiration but at a time like this, as late as it was, there was no inspiration to be had no matter how bad he needed it.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “Bo..  Creampuff.  Eh, maybe."

Finally, a maybe, which he scribbled down under the list of other 'maybes'.  It wasn't perfect though, it wasn't that Gavin Stephens quality we'd all came to expect.  He needed something with an added, extra oomph to it.  And he wasn't finding that right off, that was perhaps the most disappointing thing here thus far.  Nothing was catching fire as it should, and it was quite the bummer indeed.

    MIKAH:
“Really Gavin?  You got up out of bed at three at night to try to make up mean nicknames for your opponent?"

Jumping out of his skin as Mikah startled him a bit, he turned and saw her, letting out a sigh after he'd regained his composure.  If she'd of been a gun, Gavin would of been dead, that's how surprised he was.  Fortunately, she wasn't.  He turned his office chair, complete with the awesome spinny..  swivel function, the word is swivel (slipped his mind for a sec, damn), around in the direction of Mikah.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “Kinda.."

Stephens grabbed his notebook from the desk and looked in her direction, he was still contemplating as he waited for her to speak.  One thing could be said for him, when he wanted to figure something out, he certainly stuck to his guns.  But would he ever figure anything out to help his appetite of picking at his opponent?  Or would his later talking pieces be forever void of bad Dreamwolf jokes?

    MIKAH:
    “...  Okay, and why?"

Mikah spoke with a bit of a disapproving tone, though, she understood Gavin better than anyone.  She knew a big part of his persona was bullying his opponent, and, who better to bully than this guy?  Even if he wasn't a scrawny runt or anyone that you'd think would be the perfect subject to push around, he just..  something about him.  Something about the returning star was ripe for Gavin to pick upon.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“Because it's funny.  But - do you know how hard it is to make a Dreamwolf joke?  It's already bad enough, and yes, yes I know it's some Indian thing but still..  I've been sitting here and everything I come up with sounds cooler than Dreamwolf.  There was actually a moment I came up with Laserbeamwolf and thought that sounded too bad ass to the point I was afraid he'd use it."

The man thought he was weaving gold with that one, though, it probably wasn't much better than the name Dreamwolf already.  Though, a wolf with a laser beam to Gavin's tired brain sounded a whole lot cooler at the moment.  Mikah clearly wasn't impressed, given the expression across her pretty face.  But - it took a lot to impress that lady.

    MIKAH:
“Gavin, honey, here's an idea..  just kick his ass and be done with it."

Kick his ass..  and be done with it?  Huh.  That..  that was just crazy enough to work!  Who needed to call him anything?!  Gavin sat his notepad down, and then the pencil down for the first time this whole night.  And for once, he had stopped thinking of going back and going for another attempt at a name for this dude.  Mikah's novel idea had seemingly been the approach that he wished to run with.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“You're right..  Just do what I do best, forget making fun of his name, it does a good enough job of that on it's own.  Thanks Mik.  I promise, come Climax Control, I'll make him scream.. wolf."

He said as he stood up, moved over to her and sliding his arms around her..  Though, her eyebrow raised curiously at 'scream..  wolf', then she just proceeded to shake her head.  She gave him a peck on the lips then turned and walked off, sighing at her husband.  He was something, that much was sure.  But - right now she was too tired for his foray into ridiculousness.

    MIKAH:
“You're never going to make that work!"

She yelled out as she went upstairs, Gavin just stood there, slowly following after her with a smile on his face.  He couldn't help it.  It was just so fun to do that, make stuff up in regards to Dreamwolf.  It was the last chance he would receive to make jokes and play some games before showtime, after all!

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “I had to try, okay?!"

Mikah peered down the stairs and just shook her head and kept walking off, back in the direction of bed.  Though, she had a little bit of a grin on her face.  Stephens finally decided to call it a day, ripping the pages he had used out of the notebook and throwing them into a near by trash can.  He stood up and walked off, following her to bed, leaving the scene to come to an end with Gavin having some much needed clarity about the situation and what he needed to do.  And what that was, was simple.  Not get caught up in making fun, but instead, deal with Dreamwolf..  the same way he'd dealt with Hydro.  Who knew Mikah would of been the voice of reason there?!

    = = = = =

We open up to a video captured earlier today of a man who looked a lot like Gavin Stephens (security footage can be blurry!) who was seen to be assaulting a man in a Santa Suit outside of a local department story.  'Stephens' was observed taking the mans Santa hat, and other Christmas items including a few gifts the man had been carrying.  'Gavin' was also caught beating up Santa with his own sack of presents..  Though, that is where the footage ends.  Despite that, it began going around the arena all day - rumors that it had been Stephens.

Though nothing was confirmed.  Arriving to the show a bit later than Mikah, as he had left a bit later than her having claimed he had something to do.  Finally Stephens pushed through the doors to the arena wearing a Santa hat in which he may have stolen and carrying a green sack over his back..  Something that a Santa might carry..  Okay, maybe there was some truth to the rumors.

    MIKAH:
“Gavin..  you beat up a Santa, didn't you?"

Stephens wore his typical attire otherwise, the black hoodie with 'Rejects' patched on the front.  And the words 'DIE DREAMWOLF' spray painted across the back of the hoodie as he often wore as a shoutout to his opponents or those he was feuding with at the time.  Stephens put a innocent look across his face.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Noooooope.  Here's a gift for you..  Really hot wife of mine.  Now shush before you get me arrested for assault."

Gavin coughed as he handed Mikah a gift, her gift?  It was a "Big Titty Committee" t-shirt, which he had dubbed her team with Desiree, and Mercedes this evening.  He'd even gotten them a logo worked up!  Which..  Mikah probably would not use, much to his disappointment.  But he continued to walk down the hall, dragging his sack along with him.  He stopped as he went through the locker rooms and peered at the door of the Players Club.  He looked through his bag and found a present for them..

Strap-ons and lube.  Though, those poor souls couldn't get any more fucked than they already were, given all the talent that walked through the door and overshadowed them..  It was still a kind gesture!  Stephens continued to strut down the hall, adjusting his Santa hat, when he came to some guys he had hired to bring something into the building before he arrived.  It was a large, Santa-esque chair.  Stephens proceeded to take a seat upon it once the fellows had finished, a devilish grin appearing across his face as the camera centered upon him.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Christmas, tis the season for giving!  All that jazz, and tonight, Bo Dreamwolf makes his triumphant return just in time for the Holidays!  Gosh golly, what a happy time?!"

He put on his best 'excited' face, though, he was having a hard time feigning it.  The man just shook his head as he kicked back in his rocking chair.  Christmas meant a lot of things to a lot of people, but we were about to find out exactly what it meant to Gavin.  Though you could tell he wasn't all too happy about the season given his demeanor as he spoke of the holiday.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    "'Cept it isn't.."

And there was the part where Gavin proceeded to rain on everybody's parade.  A regular Scrooge, despite both his twitter username and current clothing.  He was not a beacon of Christmas cheer, he was not happy with the season.  He was the opposite of that.  Never the less, as per the usual, there was a method to his madness.  Though it was hard to navigate that and see what the method was, right now.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"The Holidays lead people to think they deserve being given things.  Christmas leads people to believe that if you're 'good all year long', or that if you're a good person, that you..  That you're going to deserve a gift come the Holidays.  That you deserve presents.  But the fact of the matter is, it doesn't matter how good you've been.  It doesn't matter if you're nice."

Or so he kept telling himself because he was a jerk year round.  Never the less, he leaned over towards the camera, giving off a mischievous grin.  He was proud, very much so of everything he was saying.  Sure it was a bit evil, a bit cruel of him to talk negatively of Christmas.  After all, the meaning of the season was to be good to your fellow man and all that.  But Stephens..  Stephens was not good, not to anyone.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Just like in a lot of places in the world in professional wrestling, Christmas is a popularity contest.  Usually, you get more if you kiss up."

Stephens was honest.  People were too preoccupied with being friendly, making buddies, and all that.  But he wasn't.  He shrugged and continued to kick back in his rocking chair, rocking back and forth as he contemplated what to say next.  He looked down at his watch, checking to see how long he had left before his match.  The time was coming, and he was itching to get out there and compete.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Me?  I earn what I get year round, and if I feel I haven't gotten my fair share - I take.  I don't expect fictional fat men to break an entering and leave me something under a God damn tree."

Sitting in his seat, he kept having trouble controlling his santa hat, which kept trying to slide off his head.  Or it would try to slide down on his head and obscure his vision.  Perhaps he'd stolen the wrong size of one, or something..  Stephens took a moment to adjust it again, then turned his gaze upon the camera once more.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"And let me tell you what you shouldn't expect, Bo."

Stephens slumped over in his seat, looking right into the camera with those evil eyes of his.  The man had pretty much mastered that whole 'give someone a mean look' thing.  What was it that Bo should not expect though?  That was indeed the question.  And it was a question that one could assume Gavin had an answer for, otherwise..  Why would he bring it up in the first place?!

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"You picked a funny time to throw your hat back into the ring, and I know, I know.  You're probably expecting to come back, get yourself a nice cushy little pay check and provide for your family!  I get that.  The human in me would respect that if that were indeed the case.  But - in that ring?  In this business, it pays to be inhuman.  It pays to be a monster."

He spoke as if the human part of him was somehow..  not there, or less relevant for one reason or another.  He looked down at the Rejects logo on his hoodie, which he represented a part of a little group that had dubbed themselves that in recent weeks.  To him - he had always bee rejected due to being harsh, due to being the 'bad guy' and thriving on it.  Tonight was no different in that same regard.  People would gasp at the way he was talking to the former Roulette Champion..  But so what?

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"I don't care what your sob story is, and why you chose now to return to this company.  Let me convey to you what is going to happen this evening, Dreamwolf.  You're going to lose.  No matter how hard you wish for a Christmas miracle.  No matter how hard you dance around a fire trying to make it rain, your career is in a drought that's just going to keep getting dry, to the point it becomes a desolate wasteland."

This was Gavin not making jokes..  He was being cruel and vile in the direction of a man he didn't even know, all for the sake of pushing his own career forward.  No pandering to the public, no trying to make friends.  His soul purpose here was to cut his opponent down before the two of them even managed to step into a wrestling ring together.  And here he was, doing that exact thing, just as he'd laid it out.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Christmas for you, and everyone else in SCW is canceled.  Because - like it or not, you're all not getting what you want this year.  Me and my associates are NOT going away.  We will not leave.  We will not back down from anyone on this roster.  And we'll continue to run over anyone you throw at us.  So my gift to all of you this year?  The clarity of knowing that what you see before you?  It is what you'll be seeing till the day comes where we're good and ready to leave."

The fine print was that they weren't good and ready to go anywhere, but, the tone of his voice rose.  He was speaking as if he were commanding them all to accept it.  The man really knew how to make a speech, that much was obvious from all this.  Would Dreamwolf come back with a rebuttal?  Or would Gavin Stephens be getting the very last words prior to their match this evening?!

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"But Dreamwolf will not get to witness our continued ascension.  Tonight?  It simply marks the end of Dreamwolf.  Kind of funny really, you want to return right when there's a force of nature moving through the ranks that simply cannot be stopped.  But - it'll all be okay, Dreamwolf.  Some careers have to die so that others may thrive.  Some have to end so that others may ascend to the upper echelon of wrestling talents."

Harkening back to a speech he'd made upon his very first title win in the business way back in a previous company..  Some careers had to fall while others flourished, that was his Vision.  And it was a vision that he had every intention of seeing come full circle, especially here in Sin City Wrestling.  Hydro was the start..  Now it kept going through Dreamwolf.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"And then others must sink into the depths..  You will be one of those, Bo.  Season of giving, or not.  The only thing you'll be receiving this year is a beating and an opportunity to tap out."

The so-called Visionary, a man who had taken to referring to himself as a 'snake' in recent memory stood up from his seat.  He glared into the camera, then to the bag of gifts he had acquired.  He was sure they were meant for the needy or something along those lines.  But he didn't particularly care.  It wasn't his job to be nice, it was his job to be a son of a bitch..

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    "Merry fuckin' Christmas."

Stephens grabbed the bag of presents, walking over to a rather large trash can, it was a good enough size to start dumping.  And dump he did, sending out a number of boxes into the can.  He filled it right to the top, then proceeded to pull put a packet of matches.  The ones from the week before he had utilized to burn up Melody's unicorn, and proceeded to set the boxes ablaze in the trash can.  The resident pyromaniac turned and started walking off from the scene as we faded to black with a close up view of Christmas burning away before our very eyes.

Here we go once again..  SCW Climax Control.  Another take after everything that had happened in the debut match of both Alex Kaelin and Gavin Stephens.  It didn't go according to plan, but - it was salvageable.  There was room to do something more from it, room to evolve and learn from any and all mistakes made during that particular contest.  There would be a reckoning for the Players Club eventually, and it seemed it had came early.  Because now - the one dubbed 'Hydro' had been chosen to be the next opponent of Gavin Stephens.  That was particularly significant, as Stephens had a little bit of a loosely knit group going with his fellow former Uncensored talents in Andrew Watts and Alex Kaelin.  And they seemed to be constantly on a collision course with this group, with Watts having already defeated Hydro on a previous edition of the Climax Control program.  And now it was up to Stephens to do the same.  But - Stephens was in a similar plight to the previous week, he had never really dealt with Hydro outside of one brief twitter exchange.  The two weren't exactly closely tied together, their careers had never crossed paths, or anything of the sort.  Thus - it was as if Gavin was going in fresh once again.  But where as Gavin had never been that big of a fan of tag team competition..  this?  This was singles.  This was where the Visionary thrived. He was best in one on one situations, and he was absolutely relentless when he wanted a victory..  And right now?  Gavin wanted nothing more than to make his mark here in Sin City Wrestling.  And he would do so.  It was no longer a matter of time.  To steal a phrase, the time was now.  Heh.

SCENE ONE: HATED YOU FROM HELLO

The scene picks up in a very simple method.  A black screen with a voice speaking out over it, as slowly but surely..  the picture begins coming into view.  A dark room with a light shining down from the ceiling, barely lighting the place.  The outline of the shape of a male was seen in the background of the room.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"I believe..  I believe that everything happens for a reason."

The light seemed to brighten up to reveal Gavin Stephens standing by on his own, his back turned to the camera.  We get a close up view of his black t-shirt with the words 'DIE HYDRO' painted across the back of it.  Seemed he'd taken the notion of his battle with him and his little group a bit further than he needed to.  Stephens stood there, contemplating the manner in which he needed to deal with things.  Before finally turning in the direction of the camera.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Some doors open, some doors close..  Things don't always go exactly as what you've had planned out in your head.  Such is the way things work.  If things went as I planned, all of the time well, where would the fun be in that?"

He spoke oddly calm - much calmer than you'd really expect from a man who had suffered a loss.  But - one loss wasn't the end of the world, there was room to bounce back.  Room to come back from it as something more, something better.  Gavin certainly had that capability..  He stood there in the darkened room, peering around the place a bit, the only thing lit up was the center of the room where he stood.  Stephens paused for for a moment, thinking once more about the way things things worked, and the overall lay of the land here in SCW.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Some see the debut here in Sin City Wrestling as a loss..  I saw it as a sign, that Caleb Houston, or JT Midas..  Either one of them.  That it took both of them to get me down and pin me for the three count.  It took both of them to be able to finish me off.  Guess what boys?  When we end up facing off - one on one?  You won't be so lucky as to have a partner to have your back and assist in beating me down, oh no."

Certainly was one way of looking at it.  He took on a rather charismatic tone of voice as he preached that, proudly.  There was some truth to it, at least, as far as he was concerned.  Pinning him was hard enough for many of a man to do, the fact that it took two of the Players Clubs 'so called best' was a sign that perhaps those men weren't as good as they thought they were.  Given they seemed to have a lot of trouble with Gavin in that contest.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Allow me to illuminate you..  It is with that knowledge that I am vindicated.  But - something else happened on that edition of Climax Control.  For a man who calls himself the Visionary, I'd always looked at wrestling in the wrong way.  I lacked the vision to see things clearly, to see things for what they were.  Adversity has hit me from all sides in professional wrestling.  People jealous of me, for who I am, for what it is I do, for marrying who I married.  People look at me as a guy who 'doesn't deserve what he has'.  The success I have had, in the business?  I worked hard for, twice as hard as most.  But - still people choose to look down on me.  But, I held out hope.  I held out hope that wrestling..  no, that this business could be saved.  That was - until that edition of Climax Control."

As he said the word 'illuminate' the lights came on to reveal the home that he shared with Mikah.  The newly dubbed 'Mrs. Stephens', after that whole whirlwind wedding thing that had seemingly came out of nowhere weeks prior.  He walked over to a seat, flopping down upon it as he propped his feet up, turning his eyes over into the direction of the camera that seemed to be so intent on following him around his home.  It hadn't been too long since he'd been on his honeymoon with Mikah, he'd just gotten back in and apparently had camera crews waiting.  Because - there was a lot of things he had needed to get off his chest.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"And then..  And then my eyes were opened, and I saw the truth.  I, the Visionary, saw clearer than I ever had in the past.  This business is foul, people like Hydro, the Players Club, that whole little group is a scourge.  A cancer eating away at the very core of what we do."

A hint of passion in his voice, and for one reason or another, his passion was eliminating what he thought was 'wrong' with the wrestling business.  That just so happened to be Hydro and those he associated with.  They presented a problem, a problem that Gavin Stephens very much wanted to solve.  And with renewed vigor, a renewed interest in doing what was right not for everyone else, but the wrestling business he wanted, he'd came into this looking for a good reason to pick Hydro apart.  And as it turns out - he'd found it.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Pitiful, pitiful little attention whores who thrive on doing everything that makes people laugh at this business.  It's because of you, Hydro, and your little group that I have lost all faith that this business can be saved.  And it is for that reason - that I will be the one to destroy you.  That I will be the one to put that last nail in your coffin after you lost to Andrew Watts one week ago.  The funny thing is..  You are the quietest member of your little group.  You've done the least, said the least..  You're the one who deserves this the least, at least, based on your actions thus far.  You're the weak link in their little web of annoying individuals..  And yet, here we are."

He said with a chuckle, getting some sort of enjoyment out of this..  Why?  Because - despite this fellow being the most silent member of the group, for one reason or another, Gavin was looking forward to stepping into the ring with another member of the group.  Hell, this would help towards his point that neither of his little pals could beat him in singles..  When he defeated one of their group in singles competition to prove that.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Here we are - punishing you for the sins your friends have committed.  And while some would think that makes you exempt, for those are not your wrongs..  I disagree.  People should be judged, not based on what they have, or haven't done.  But the company they keep.  You don't keep very good company, do you?  I judge you - for condoning everything wrong with this business through your association with worthless little pissants.  And it's because of this, that I'm really looking forward to hurting you, son."

Propping his feet up on the coffee table in front of him, he leisurely sat there, still running all these thoughts through his mind.  He hated everyone equally, he even had a t-shirt once that said that on the front.  But - for one reason or another, he'd found himself especially hating his opponent this week.  Having a particular problem with the man who called himself Hydro.  He kicked back, still smiling with a devilish look across his face.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"You give it your all, by the way.  No excuses.  No take backs.  No fucking bullshit.  When I've beaten you - I expect to see 'Oh, I wasn't ready' blah, blah fucking blah.  But we'll both know that's a lie.  We'll both know that you sir, were a failure.  Just like against Watts.  Just like in Combat Entertainment, when you went so far as to make up achievements to try to tout yourself as something better than what you were..  You will be left lying in the ring, looking up, wondering why..  Why you deserve to get a beating on the scale of which is far beyond anything you've done personally to me.  You haven't said anything 'mean', other than that Visionary thing on Twitter the other day.  Hahah - Drug use references.  You're so cool and edgy.  A regular Jack Black. That's me saying you're not edgy at all, by the way.  But no matter what you do..  You will pay for the sins of those whom you choose to associate with."

He crossed his arms, leaning over in the direction of the camera, which zoomed in as he eloquently spoke about paying for sins.  It was a recurring theme that Gavin had spoken of in promos prior to joining SCW..  Paying for those whom you happened to be associated with.  He was the kind of individual who felt you should be judged by the quality of the company you keep, and as a result of the company Hydro kept..  He would be judged, and treated just as if he were his team mates, despite the fact he was a far more silent member of their group than the rest.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"It's like I'm fighting a wrestler from the fuckin' 1990's.  Drug references all around.  You're as tired as this Players Club bullshit."

It was so uncreative to play up drugs, or pretend you were a 'player'.  It was just a sad, sad state of affairs when everything continued to evolve around them.  Yet people remained stuck in the past, where terrible gimmicks such as that one reigned supreme.  It was 2014, and Gavin was going to make absolutely certain that he kept SCW as a part of the future.  Not the past.  He picked up a ball off a nearby table and tossed it back and forth in his hands, occupying himself for a moment, before looking up at the camera.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"For those wondering why I'd been so quiet the past two weeks, by the way..  It's called a honeymoon by the way.  Sort of got married to Mikah in a hurry, and things went from there.  It even hit me by surprise.  But, I'm glad everyone was worried.  Fact of the matter is though - I'm still here, I'm going to be here for the forseeable future.  And you'd better get used to it.  Because - I'm not going away.  I'm not disappearing.  You're all going to get so much Gavin Stephens, I promise you that."

Pointing in the camera as he spoke rather angrily in tone with those last few words.  The phenomenon of Gavin Stephens was not yet over.  There was more to come, more of Gavin Stephens to see.  There was more than what he'd done.  More to see than what he had already offered up.  The illumination spoken of earlier in the piece?  It wasn't about light.  It was about bringing Gavin Stephens, the real Gavin Stephens to light before them all.  And show them just why he was one of the most feared individuals on the planet.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"If there's one thing I could give you - Hydro, one thing that I could say, to make this all easier to accept..  I would.  Because - I know the song and dance, I know what's coming.  You're going to come out here pretty soon, and you'll talk some big talk.  You'll stand there in a daze as if you're Keanu Reeves in Bill and Ted, 'Hey bruh, I'm going to win!' and speak of a number of different points.  A number of different reasons why I won't succeed.  But - it's really all just fluff.  Pomp and circumstance to try to cover your ass, to try to hide what everyone else already knows."

Speaking in a calmer, more assured tone now.  He dictated the things he spoke with a series of hand gestures, cultivating a line of statements that called into account the credibility of his opponent, his team, and generally everything about the person he happened to be.  He straightened up his t-shirt, a smile on his face as he seemed..  oddly rather proud of the things he were saying here.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"That I'm smarter than you, superior to you, and everyone else in this company for that matter.  In ring, on the mic, in the bedroom, at Call of Duty 4, and everything else in between.  So go ahead.  Come out, do the whole song and dance.  Dance monkey, dance.  Do what everyone does, and fails at when stepping up to face me.  Go on, you're not really original already, so, copy the crowd.  Pretend.  That's all you'll do by the way, is pretend that you can even hold a candle to me.  Because soon - all this pretending stops, for good."

And all the pretending would stop, as far as Stephens had anything to say about it.  He tossed the ball he had been playing with across the room, off in another direction.  Signifying not just was the time of pretending long since gone, but the time for playing.  The time for fun and games was over when this promo aired.  He and his opponent were going to have a battle, and Hydro would fall at his hand.  That was his goal, it was something he'd promised himself.  And as far as he knew, it would happen.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"So do it while you can..  You've been left on a pretty slippery slope - get it?  Slippery slope?  Hydro?  Hah.  But you failed in your singles debut.  But I won't make the same mistake..  Ya see - when you're done doing what I suggested, and it comes time to step into the ring together.  It won't matter what you've said.  What you've done.  Or anything like that.  What will matter is right then, right there.  My fists will be flying toward your face at an ever increasing velocity.  You won't know what to do.  You really won't.  Because - like a vulture, I'll systematically pick apart the carcass that is Hydro.  I will leave NOTHING.  You'll be lucky to see another Climax Control, when it's all said and done.  And when you're looking for someone to blame?"

A long pause..  He sat there patiently, allowing that to sink in.  He wanted people to contemplate just who this man would choose to blame.  There were a lot of people he could throw out there.  A lot of people he could force this on to excuse himself, but - Gavin was cutting that off at the past.  Ensuring that the only thing he could do was accept his responsibility and take any losses like a man.  And he would.  He'd accept them, or Gavin would make this a habit.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"It wasn't Alex Kaelin that did this to you.  It wasn't Andrew Watts, as you people so often like to blame for any misfortunes.  Even to the point Caleb and JT, your little butt-buddies couldn't focus on the tag match last week without mentioning them.  Oh no.  And don't even blame me.  It's not my fault.  What's happening to you?  It might be at my hand.  But - there's no one to blame but.."

Another pause as he heard a door nearby open, peeking over to see Mikah peering into the room.  He realized they had to get back to it.  And by it well..  the obvious.  He and her had been alone together all that honeymoon, and still he wanted to go back with her.  For some reason, he couldn't get tired of that lady.  But right now - he had to focus.  He nodded in her direction, signalling he wouldn't be long as he heard the door close, and he turned his eyes back in the direction of the camera in front of him.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"Yourself.  And - by extension, your teammates."

Turns out there were a few more people to blame than he'd initially suggested.  A smug, confident look appearing across his visage as he looked to the camera man that had been filming this.  Then back into the lens of the camera.  Figuring now was the perfect opportunity to put an exclamation point on this piece, and leave the rest up to fate.  As far as ends were concerned, he knew this wouldn't be the last time Hydro came up.  These two were tied together at least till show time, and, it wouldn't surprise him one bit if Hydro said something prior to then.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
"See you soon, Hydro.  Sincerely, truly..  it will be a pleasure to put you down, permanently."

With a wink in the direction of the camera, the scene slowly faded to black with that.  The very last glimpse we received was of Gavin Stephens sitting there with a very confident smile across his face.  He knew what was coming - and he was more prepared than he had ever been.  Never the less - this particular scene came to a definitive end..  But it was the first we were hearing from Gavin Stephens since he had returned from his honeymoon, and it was obvious we'd be hearing more soon.

SCENE TWO: WHY GAVIN DIDN'T APPEAR AT CC 100.

During the previous Climax Control 100, while Gavin had been away on his honeymoon, Sin City Wrestlings people had gotten him away to talk a bit about his favorite moment in SCW history.  He had initially been supposed to make some sort of contribution in this manner to that program.  But – something happened during his segment.  So, with that, we bring you 'failed Climax Control segments' starring the one and only Gavin Stephens.  Doing what he does best, ranting about what he dislikes, rather than what he likes..  Stephens sat in a studio of sorts, with a camera crew in front of him, having broken away from Mikah for about an hour or whatever it would take to film this particular piece.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“...  You really came all the way here to find out my favorite segment in Climax Control history?”

Picking up in the middle of his conversation, the cameras were rolling and it had been meant to be aired, once again.  But unfortunately, some things got in the way of that.  Never the less, Stephens sat there, thinking about his favorite segment in the companies history.  He hadn't been here as long as most, hell, he wasn't even deeply rooted into the history of the company like most would have been.  But – he certainly had some answers if they were seriously asking.

    VOICE:
“Yeah, it's a big event.  Sorta want to bring everyone out for it, you know?  So if you could, relay your favorite moments, whatever.  And we'll get out of your hair.”

The man behind the camera spoke, as Gavin turned his eyes toward the camera.  Smiling from ear to ear..  What to say, what to say?  So many options.  He hadn't been here too long, sure, but SCW was a particularly eventful place.  And he'd actually enjoyed meeting people, learning about the company and all that.  'Course, he'd never say that out loud as he had a reputation to uphold as an evil bastard and all.  But he thought it, and that was what counted.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“Okay, you, sit down.  Be quiet.  I am not going to pander to the morons watching by 'naming off my favorite happening' or whatever.  Forget that.  You know what my least favorite thing in Climax Control history is?  That travesty we saw last week.  Caleb Houston and JT Atlas are second rate.  They're losers..  Pathetic good for nothing Twitter divas.  They sit on there all day playing with Liz fucking Smalls, who might I add, is still the dumbest god damn bitch on the planet.  And the fact that she still exists makes me physically ill.”

A stunned silence came from the man behind the camera, not sure of what he had just had laid out in front of him.  Stephens had went into full on annoyed rant mode, and it seemed that rant was turned at some people he'd had particular dealings with in matches, twitter, and even throughout his own history stretching all the way back into a little company he and Liz Smalls both used to work for.  Some old hatred, it seemed.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “You want more?  Okay.  Equinox.”

A pause as the fellow behind the camera looked to Gavin, and Gavin looked to him.  Stephens wondered if he expected something more, but never the less, he remained patient.  Wondering what the fellow would follow it up with.  He wasn't exactly answering the questions that were needed to be answered, oh no.  He was going about this in his own way, making this piece into something about him, and not the history of Sin City Wrestling.

    VOICE:
    “What about him?”

The individual behind the cameras remained confused.  Why did Equinox matter?  Sure, he'd been involved in a number of major points throughout the history of Sin City Wrestling.  But – just the name by itself..  what was he getting at?  What more was there?  Anything?  Anything at all?

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “He's my least favorite.”

It wasn't really clarifying much at all to say that.  And least favorite?  All of that negativity when he was supposed to be submitting this not for those reasons, but for a celebration of the longevity of Sin City Wrestling.  But never the less – his dislike of Equinox remained no matter what he did, no matter where he went, those two were destined to have their issues.

    VOICE:
“Equinox is your least favorite moment in SCW history?”

Still trying to discern what exactly the point Stephens was getting at was.  But – it was clear this was taking a sour turn.  Stephens had no reason to sugarcoat his thoughts, on anything.  He could have been the guy to come out and talk about all the good things, but, it was easier to point out the bad.  Or at least, what he himself perceived as bad things that were going on within SCW.  And right now?  Equinox had been the target.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“...  Human.  And then – don't get me started on all the television time we waste on Caleb Houston, JT Midas, and Hydro.  Jesus christ if I wanted to see a bunch of dudes creepily pal around and play slap ass, I'd..  I don't know what I'd do, but it's certainly not watch them..”

Physically looking as if he were about to convulse at the idea of that group, he shook it off quickly and moved forward, standing up as he looked into the camera.  Ready to go full on promo, rather than any sort of brief blurb about what he had thought about SCW Climax Control.  No, this was getting bigger than that.  This was becoming something even more..

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“And you know, while you're at it.  Who the hell is Hydro anyway?  For the entire first week I was here, I thought Watts was facing Hydrant.  Do you know how many 'you're going to piss all over him' jokes I made?”

The base in his voice raising as he spoke, though, that would have been particularly embarassing had that extended into the present.  Had he went on and on about a 'Hydrant' only to realize the mans moniker was 'Hydro'.  Not 'Hydrant'.  Boy would his face have been red.  Instead though, it seemed Stephens had been corrected and everything was correct.  Though, there was some laughter from some folks in the room about the 'piss all over him' jokes.

    VOICE:
    “Gavin..”

The man kept trying to cut in, but Gavin kept going despite his protests.  These things needed off his chest at the time, he had to throw all of those out there, otherwise he would of exploded.  And considering that they had came all of that way to get a piece of his mind, he was certainly going to give them all of that and more.  After all – it would have been rude to give them nothing after all that effort of coming all this way, right?

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“Don't even get me started on all the lame drug use jokes.  Do we drug test?  We should.  The fact Liz Smalls, Caleb Houston, JT Midas, and Hydro have been, or are employed here at any point leads me to believe you can just walk around here in a drug induced daze.  It's freakin' ridiculous. The fact of the matter is, there's a girl here who makes more god damn sense entering with a bunch of fucking unicorns than all those people I've mentioned.  What the hell is wrong with wrestling these days?!”

A reference to a friend he'd seemingly made on Twitter, but, also a reference once again to people he'd been dealing with for a long period of his career, in Liz's case.  And then these people he'd recently met.  All of them he had seemingly been intent on picking a fight with.  After all, a recurring theme of his rants were people who spent too much time trying to stir crap up on Twitter.

    VOICE:
“Gavin..  You're straying away from the point.”

Once again trying to intervene and put Gavin back on the right track.  But somehow, Stephens was not getting on the rails they wanted him on.  They couldn't lead this man, he dictated where his words went.  And you could tell from the tone of voice the man in charge of the camera was getting a bit fed up with the antics of Gavin Stephens.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“Screw you.  The best moment in Climax Control history is when we rid this place of these shit stains.  And if you keep cutting me off, you'll get the same.  Understand?”

Stephens turned his ire in the direction of the man conducting all of this.  It didn't help to be the er..  help around this guy.  Because no one was exempt from Gavin Stephens sinister machinations.  Nobody at all.  And he'd just about had enough of this man and his overly condescending attitude.

    VOICE:
“Okay, this isn't going anywhere, that's a wrap..  Oh my god..”

Suddenly Gavin stood up and threw his stool he had been sitting on in the direction of the man, taking out a camera as we faded to static.  Though, sound could still be heard as it sounded as if the room just so happened to be being destroyed.  A few more crashes were heard as the scene came to an end and we brought that particular failed Climax Control segment to a close.  Off to live on in infamy in the annals of YouTube.

    SCENE THREE: SLIPPERY SLOPES

It was finally the day of Climax Control.  No taped promos, no vignettes, no failed segments that had to be thrown out.  No nothing.  The newly married couple of Mikah and Gavin Stephens walked into the arena for tonight's edition of Climax Control.  Right out of the City National Civic in San Jose, California.  Stephens was in the best of spirits, a smile on his face that was well..  a stark contrast to what one might of expected.  While things were odd when he walked off the previous show, coming back now..  it was as if everything was truly, truly different.  Gavin carried a stuffed unicorn in his hand, as Mikah kept giving it a look as they sauntered down the hall.

    MIKAH:
“Why did you bring that?  It's weird.."

Mikah questioned - a bit curious.  Despite the strength in their relationship, she knew Gavin.  He had a lot of quirky, some might even say odd habits.  For whatever reason, this whole unicorn thing was a part of the odd habit.  He was working an angle of some sort, and she was trying to ascertain what that was..

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “You'll see."

Passing by the locker room of Melody Grace, Gavin proceeded to sit the unicorn down on the ground in front of him.  Right out in front of the door, he pulled out a little bottle and dumped something on it..  Then held up a packet of matches, looking in the direction of Mikah as a devilish grin appeared across his face.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “Do the honors?"

Mikah looked at him, then at the unicorn.  There wasn't really anyone around to see, but, she proceeded to take the matches from his hand.  Grinning a bit herself, Mikah could be mean when she wanted to be.  The woman had a mean streak that, while not as bad as her husbands, could go a pretty long ways as well.

    MIKAH:
    “You evil, evil man."

She said as she proceeded to pull a match out of the matchbook, then proceeded to strike it and light the unicorn ablaze..  Gavin then turned to Mikah, grabbed her and started pulling her away as they settled into a calm walking motion, leaving off the scene.  They continued to walk down the hall for a bit, when they came to a camera crew, looking guilty as all hell.   Stephens looked around confused, as he and Mikah shared a quick kiss and she went on her merry way.  She had a match to focus on tonight as well.  Stephens continued walking, trying to distance himself from all that as the cameras followed.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “What now?"

Stephens paused, looking at Pussy.  Another buxom interviewer..  Apparently we had a lot of these running around.  He certainly had no issue with that.  While he was a married man, he could understand the appeal of a buxom interview lady.  He was certain that would be a popular thing amongst the fans and all that.  But unfortunately, Gavin was in no mood for big boob hijinks, or erotic jokes for names.

    PUSSY WILLOW:
“Well, we'd like a word with you about Hydro?  You'll be making your singles competition debut tonight..  Thoughts?"

Typical, easy question.  But he'd said all he needed to really say about Hydro thus far.  Though, the man had plenty of thoughts that came to mind that he wouldn't of minded getting off of his chest.  He looked at Pussy with an annoyed expression across his face, considering what to say in response.  He could of wasted time being interviewed, but..  he felt like directing this piece was better, as he was the only one who knew what he wanted to get off his chest.  Couldn't trust some vague questions off the top of some bimbos head.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“Just give me the god damn mic, and get out of my spotlight.  I don't need jokes like you sharing what belongs to me."

Rudely grabbing the microphone from her hands, pulling her around until she finally let go of it.  He was needlessly physical with her, enough so that it was a bit scary.  He just glared at her once he'd finally retrieved it, looking to it, then to her.  Eyeballing her with hate in his expression, she wasn't needed here.  And as per the usual, he was victimizing the backstage help.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “Go, now."

Pointing her down the hall rather rudely.  Pussy looked all dejected like as she turned, walking in the direction of the fire he had pretty much told Mikah to set earlier.  Those two were regular pyromaniacs..  Stephens watched, waiting to make sure that Pussy had gotten completely out of sight.  Going so far as to call the popular reporter a joke, though?  It was harsh, and it was way, way too far.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“Since she started us off..  my thoughts on Hydro?  Same as they always are.  He's not worth the paper his contract is written on.  Lotta that going around.  But that's beside the point - I came in at Climax Control 99, and - we put on a hell of a fight.  It was a fresh tag team, Kaelin and I'd never worked together.  A loss happened.  Not the end of the world, considering, contrary to the commentators weird..  turning on me despite their usual 'tude, we nearly beat those children.  On our very first outing as a tag team when they've apparently been teaming for years or whatever the schtick was they've made up."

He heard a fire alarm going off and he decided to walk away from the scene, not letting anyone know he was responsible for whatever was er..  going on over there if he could help it at all.  A smile appearing across his face as he smugly walked off, the cameras following him as he could hear Pussy Willow, whom was still nearby, speaking about why someone would set a unicorn on fire in the hallway.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“...  No idea what's going on over there, lets er..  stray away from that, shall we?  Listen, I know I sound like this mean, bitter guy.  But I'm not.  Things happen, it's wrestling.  Can't win em all.  I have my reasons for justifying things the way I do, and they're pretty plausible ones, so, it is what it is.."

He walked and talked, still putting distance between himself and the scene of his earlier crime.  Though, it was going to be obvious, at least to the lady who wanted the unicorn whom had done that.  That wasn't really the point of this.  His fun and games had been brought to an end thanks to Willow.  And now - he was back to focusing on what he did best, wrestling.  Clenching his hands together, he looked to be mentally ready for this.  And even better, he was fully prepared to articulate some more of his thoughts.  More visions from the visionary, as it were.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“But now - it's singles debut time, and it's against another member of that little group.  Hydro.  I know, I know, acknowledged this already.  But I'm just thinking..  still haven't heard a hell of a lot from Hydro lately.  Kind of odd, if you ask me?  Where's he at?  I mean - here I am, waiting.  But so far, nothing.  Not a single peep out of him."

He shrugged, wondering aloud where his opponent even was.  It was unlike people to be silent these days, given Twitter was such an outlet for people to run their mouth whenever they had a thought.  But - never the less, it was oddly quiet on the Hydro front.  And that was strange for many of a reason, mostly considering he was in a group of loudmouths but..  Hey, Stephens wasn't opposed to him not making a peep at all, and showing up to fall.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“I think, and this is just me guessing..  But I think I know what it is."

Leaning back against a nearby wall, he continued to 'think', tapping his chin with his finger tips as he mulled over what it could be.  He had a thought..  but could he at all be correct?  Was it really the case?  Huh..  There were a ton, a ton of reasons why someone would be as quiet as his opponent had been.  Maybe he'd come out of the woodwork with the greatest promotional piece that Gavin had ever seen.  Or maybe, just maybe it was something else holding him back from rearing his ugly head..

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“Fear.  I know, I know you'll back off the idea.  Tell me how you're not afraid, how I'm just trying to save face or something.  I get the schtick.  But - I sense it, I smell it.  You might not believe it yourself, but, deep down..  you are.  Big debut last week, and you failed in your first singles match here.  A mistake you know I won't make.  You were broken, cracked all to pieces..  And that my friend is where fear hides, where fear slowly begins to seep out.  Watts exposed the cracks, I'm just going to finish breaking you down.  Because once fears seed has taken root, planting itself in the darkest part of your mind..  Soon enough, it will come to light."

Coming to light, illuminating, educating the SCW audience was a recurring theme.  A theme he often spoke of passionately.  He wanted to learn them all who he was, who Mikah was, and what they were both capable of.  With Gavin leaning against the wall, we got a nice view of his t-shirt which featured the character of Negan, one of the main villains from the popular Walking Dead comic book series, of which Stephens was a known and vocal fan of.  Along with a pair of jeans that looked a bit old and worn.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“I'll be the one to bring it all into focus, Hydro.  And I will be your downfall.  People like you, you're so worried about being the future.  So worried about making your mark..  I'll show you why I am not only the future, but - why soon enough.  I'll be the freaking here and now!  I will be more than someone who will succeed 'in the future' at some undisclosed date.  I'm going to succeed in the present, and leave you behind in my dust.  Don't consider that hypothetical, consider it a fucking spoiler alert."

He considered himself a prophet of truth.  A speaker of the things people were afraid to say.  But - when everyone else was afraid to be vocal, Gavin would tell it like it was.  He'd speak his mind, say what he needed to say, and take any blowback that may come from it.  He stood, unafraid of any dramatics at the hands of others, or any fall back from those whom had been in the company longer than him.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“This is the perfect opportunity to strike, Hydro.  And while some would feel bad about cutting you down when you're so young and in your 'prime', which by the way, isn't very prime at all..  But unlike you and your rodent pals..  I am no rat..   I am the snake who catches the rat."

Glaring into the camera with those evil, devilish eyes of his.  He was certain that would go over his opponents head, and he would receive some sort of 'This ain't a zoo' response or something.  Though, there was significance in the comparison.  There was significance in saying he was what he was, and they were what they were.  Though - he figured it would all fall on deaf ears, as these things often did.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
    “Best you remember that.."

A not so veiled threat there, as Stephens continued to look right square in the camera.  His tone very eerie, very calm as he relayed that to his opposition.  They could have heeded his advice, they could have kept that in mind.  But he predicted they wouldn't.  Nobody ever listened in wrestling.  So he proceeded to sigh, shaking his head as he looked upward, mulling over the situation at hand.  Then he fixed his eyes upon the lens of the camera one more time, preparing to bring this piece to a close.

    GAVIN STEPHENS:
“I'd tell you to pray..  But it wouldn't do you any good.  You've all earned what is coming to you."

And finally, finally it all came to an end.  We saw a man with a fire extinguisher rush through the scene as Stephens sauntered off down the hall.  Leaving the camera crew confused as the scene slowly came to a definitive end.  Fading to black as everything came to a close..  Would Gavin Stephens overcome Hydro?  Or would Hydro finally capture the success she so desperately needed?!  Whatever the case - Stephens had drawn a line in the sand, and he was waiting desperately for Hydro to cross.  In fact - he was looking forward with it, frothing at the mouth at the chance to put the exclamation point on the end of Hydro, once and for all.  And as far as he was concerned, he'd do it, too.

Everything was so different for Gavin Stephens..  In comparison to the way things used to be.  There once was a man who had succeeded in every way, shape and form.  He walked into his place of employment and he knew he was the be all and end all.  He had entered a complete and total unknown to those involved.  Upper management and the like ended up completely, and totally surprised though.  Because that man became an individual whose name was synonymous with the company he wrestled in..  That man was Gavin Stephens.  And the company?  It was his previous place of employment.  A little place known as Uncensored Inc.

A lot had changed since then, though.

Too much, actually.  But - when life gives you lemons, you throw those lemons back in its face and tell it to give you something else.  And so it did.  New opportunities, new horizons had presented themselves.  And now?  Gavin Stephens found himself employed by Sin City Wrestling.  A place he'd previously never really considered, having been content with his previous employer.  Feeling he would of been there for the long haul.  But now?  Things had changed and it seemed, very much so, that he was going to enjoy his new 'home' so to speak.  But where as Gavin would enjoy his new home..  There lied a question.  And it was one that would more than likely have a rather obvious answer following it.

Would his new home enjoy him?  Despite his talents.  Despite everything he had going for him, Stephens had developed an attitude in which many were convinced was 'bad for business'.  He was a drama queen, he liked to cause trouble, he loved to pick a fight.  And most of all?  He loved giving people a reason to hate him.  As could be seen through one of his more publicized feuds with Equinox, a man whose mask he had became obsessed with taking away for a time in his career.  Could Sin City Wrestling handle the intricacies of Gavin Stephens rather hateful personality?  There in lied the big question.  Never the less - Mr. Uncensored had been set to make his debut in SCW, and fortunately..  He had some friends along for the ride.

Though - given some of the history there, it was surprising they'd all became friends.  Stephens having briefly been in a rivalry with the romantic attachment of Alex Kaelin, mockingly calling himself the 'real deal' in the past in reference to the 'kind of a big deal' catchphrase of Kaelin.  And Watts, whom Stephens had briefly had a war of the words with in the past.  But somehow - some way, the three had came into the company as a unit.  And seemed to show some solidarity over outlets like Twitter..  But would that be the case in the ring?

    = = = = =

The scene picks up of course at the home of Gavin Stephens, whom sat on a chair in front of his television playing some Call of Duty Advanced Warfare because..  the man was a known gamer, comic book reader, and all around enthusiast of things nerdy.  He was messing around with his controller at the beginning of this piece, changing his clan tag on the game to the letters 'AoV' for some reason or another.  He messed with that a bit while Mikah's dog barked in the background, only for him to ignore it because he was a terrible person when it came to animals.  They didn't like him, he didn't like them.  It was just the way things happened to be in the Mikah..  whatever her last name was and Gavin Stephens household.  Stephens entered into a match, playing around on his game for a bit, not a care in the world.  And some time passed, as he continued to kick back, drinking some Coca Cola whenever he got a moment to free up his hands.  It wasn't too long after that he heard a thud from the other side of the house, the sound of a door closing shit.  It wasn't too long before Mikah came into the room to investigate why there were sounds of a puppy squealing and making various annoying sounds through the house.

MIKAH: "I'm home..  why's the dog going crazy?"

Mikah questioned as she went off in search of the animal.  Gavin sat up, turning his game off, or at least taking it back into the main menu for the time being.  He stood up and followed her into the other room and once there, he stood to see her investigating a basket with a puppy inside.  It sure beat letting it run around yapping, thought Gavin.  But Mikah didn't seem to think so as she went and removed the basket off of the top of the animal rather hastily.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Emptied a basket, and sat it on top of it because it annoyed me."

The man put it rather bluntly, not even worried about how awful that sounded.  Mikah looked surprised as she took care of the animal.  Of course, Gavin didn't really care one way or another.  He was a rather harsh, harsh individual.  And he'd made it apparent he didn't give a damn about the mutt anyway.  In the back of his mind, he knew he needed to focus.  They had things to do, they had to get to work.  They couldn't worry about Mikah and her pet situation, it was a pointless endeavor to do so.

MIKAH: "Gavin, it's a puppy!  You didn't even leave it water!"

He shrugged.  He wasn't the kind, caring individual Mikah was..  Not that those were words that could describe her, either.  But she seemed to have a soft spot for that animal.  Unfortunately, Gavin couldn't say he had a soft spot for many things in this life time.  He was jaded, hateful, angry.  He was the worst of the worst and..  there was very little sympathy for anything other than him and his own.  It just so happened Mikah herself was classified under all of that, leading her to being one of the few people he actually gave a damn about.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "It's an annoying puppy.  To be fair, I tried to do the same thing to your daughter but, thumbs."

Oh yeah, he went there.  Much to the appalled look of Mikah.  She was disgusted with the notion he would be that mean to her poor daughter.  But hey, it wasn't his daughter!  He just grinned at her as she shook her head.  She was used to his sense of humor by now, sure.  But being used to something didn't mean she liked it.  He leaned against the wall, watching her take care of that little demon she called a puppy.  He just casually shook his head for the time being.  Never ceased to amaze him what people would waste their time with.

    MIKAH: "..."

Once Mikah had settled the animal down, she went on through the house.  He waited for a moment before heading after her, figuring they had some things to discuss.  There was preparation, planning, all of that required because they were finally getting back to work.  Finally getting back into the wrestling business.  They hadn't been away for too long but, their vacation from it was slowly but surely about to end with the first episode of Climax Control they'd both appear on.  And they had to be ready.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "So..  flight in the morning."

Stephens said, reminding the lady.  Mikah walked into the kitchen and grabbed herself a glass, then poured herself some water.  Seemingly going on as if she were ignoring what he'd said.  He figured she was either mad at him, or dreading going to work..  Or perhaps even both!  Given what he had just done, and said in regards to both the kid, and the dog..  He expected very much that he had talked his way into the 'doghouse' of sorts on this day.  But the best part of a dispute was the making up, so really, it was fine.

    MIKAH: "Don't remind me."

The beautiful blonde rolled her eyes as she sipped her water, occupying herself with some various things in the kitchen.  She was by no means the housewife type so, the whole kitchen thing was a bit of a odd place to see her in.  Never the less - Gavin could tell she was more annoyed by the idea of the traveling involved with wrestling, again.  Sure it was both their passions and all that.  But, that all took its toll on you.  Mikah had it the worst of the two traveling between places for Uncensored, so he hadn't quite thought about how this would effect her, till now.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "I sense the excitement in your voice.  But - it'll be nice to get back into the ring again.  Been far too long since you and I did what we do so well."

He said with a chuckle, proud that the two were going to get right back down to business.  Still leaning against the door frame, waiting for a response.  He also said this to pep her up.  He knew how good of a wrestler she was, when she wanted to be.  But often times she let things like possessions and a life of leisure get in the way of going out there and whipping some ass.  He understood that, no really, he did.  It was a sentiment that most people could easily, easily understand.

MIKAH: "Oh, and what is it we do?"

Mikah questioned, turning towards him and finally plastering a smile on that pretty face of hers.  Seemed his attempts to pep her up were working a little bit anyway.  Or maybe she just liked him enough that his presence was enough to do it.  Either way, he continued to show a vested interest in getting her out of the house and back into a wrestling ring.  After all, all this stuff about their new home, their getting married, all that was nice.  But - it didn't leave a whole hell of a lot of room for her to actually do much else.  This?  This was her opportunity.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Well they didn't hire us to be Melody's unicorn head guys.."

He said as a light chuckle escaped his lips.  Mikah just shook her head.  The woman had a bit of an attitude, she was a bit mean when she felt people deserved it.  And - a lady like Mikah probably didn't find unicorns as interesting as someone else might.  She seemed visibly disturbed by the idea of having to portray one of those things.  As she perhaps should of been.  As one couldn't imagine it was a very flattering role to play.  Really?  Who the hell wanted to be a weird dude in a unicorn head?

MIKAH: "...  I didn't even know they hired for that."

Mikah walked over to him, standing a bit nearer to him.  She sat her glass down on the bar in the kitchen just prior to coming over to him.  Once in front of him, she put a smile on her face.  Good to see she hadn't taken too much of what he said too seriously.  A lot of the things he did towards her were in good fun, and she knew that.  Or - well, he hoped she did.  Otherwise he had a lot of things to explain here later.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "That whole only wearing a pair of white shiny pants would be a good look for you.  We can skip the unicorn head though."

Of course, she ended up walking off, though she could be heard laughing at his comments.  She was by no means pissed or anything, and seemed to at the very least find him entertaining.  Entertaining was good, he could work with that.  He stood there, waiting for her to stop, but she just went on about her business.  Had to go check on her daughter and all that, but never the less, there Gavin was, grinning from ear to ear.

    GAVIN STEPHENS: "I'm serious!"

A smile appeared on his face as he waited for Mikah to come back.  But she didn't.  He just shook his head.  She realized he was joking, she was used to his sense of humor like that.  But still, she walked off.  He could be a bit ridiculous sometimes but, they had a rather strong relationship despite it all.  With him having not too long ago asked her to marry him and the like, though, no date had been set, the two were seemingly rather strong as a couple.  Even with his rather..  hard to get along with demeanor.  Never the less, both seemed to be as ready as ever to head into the squared circle.  Though - Gavin was eager, in Mikah's case, she seemed to have been much happier relaxing, rather than worrying about getting a beating week in and week out.  Even if she was good, depending on who you faced, you could still expect to walk away with a few lumps.  And - for pretty little Mikah, that was still a few too many.

    = = = = =

Finally..  Finally they were off the plane and had arrived to the arena which was presenting tonight's Sin City Wrestling Climax Control branded event!  The cameras were rolling earlier that evening to capture both Mikah and Stephens having arrived to the arena.  Once finding out whre their locker room was located, they split up with Mikah heading off in that direction.  And Stephens continuing to look around the place.  After all, he wanted to survey the landscape so to speak.  Take a tour and see who, and what all he could see along the way.  So as it turned out, he did exactly, exactly that.  As he casually sauntered his way down the halls, peeking around the place at the various employees and denizens of the Sin City Wrestling empire..  He turned a corner only to bump in to a buxom brunette woman.  Even more so than Mikah, and a bit older..  The lady gave him a interesting look as Gavin gave her a confused one..

    ???: "Well hello there, handsome.."

Stephens looked at her with a blank expression across his face.  He appreciated the sentiment, absolutely.  Always nice to be referred to as handsome.  Though, he wondered what this woman wanted.  It was hard not to notice the curves and the like considering she seemed to be trying her hardest to make sure her wardrobe accentuated all of that and more.  Though - he wasn't interested in her as most would of been.  He had his interests in another woman, obviously, but - he couldn't help but wonder why this woman was speaking to him.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "...  Who are you supposed to be exactly?  Tits McGee?"

He may have been half right.  But her name wasn't exactly that.  Never the less, he leaned against the wall, giving her a curious look.  Hey, why not right?  Getting acquainted with the inmates of this particular asylum was required if he wanted to make any 'friends'.  Okay, to be fair, Gavin never really made friends.  He made enemies.  But there was some level of knowing one another required for even making foes!  And Gavin?  He certainly wanted to make a few enemies here in SCW.

???: "I'm Ms. Rocky Mountains, and I handle the backstage reporting around here.."

The mountainous woman introduced herself as Gavin couldn't help but grin at the name.  He saw what they did there.  No really, he did.  Wherever she came up with her ring name, he could see why they gave it to her, or she gave herself it.  Or however that worked.  He just shook his head for a moment, trying hard not to laugh.  It was certainly one of the more interesting names he had heard a backstage reporter type referred to as in the past.  He felt it would certainly be quite the experience getting interviewed by her..

GAVIN STEPHENS: "I'll never remember that..  Rocky Mountains?  Really?"

Still speaking with a very obvious hint of surprise in his voice.  Though, he supposed names like that were to be expected.  This was Sin City Wrestling.  Names like that put the sin in Sin City, he supposed.  But still, it was an unexpected treat to find out her name was actually something to do with her breasts.  But it was time to get to business, he expected once she figured out just who he was, if she didn't already know..  Then she'd want a word with him in relation to his debut this evening.  If he could get around making surprised comments about her name.

MS. ROCKY MOUNTAINS: "Yes, what's wrong with that?"

She questioned as he just shook his head, snickering like some sort of perverted kid.  Gavin finally stepped away from the wall, rather than lean upon it any longer.  Deciding that he could support himself, rather than that.  Speaking of support, Gavin began thinking of a number of jokes about Rocky Mountains.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Nothing really..  Just, I feel like what I called you was more fitting."

Her expression took a more sour one upon hearing his thoughts on her moniker, name, or whatever.  That couldn't of been on her birth certificate right?  He wondered..  He'd have to make some calls and look into that.  He just so happened to know a guy.  But that?  That was a story for another time, and another place.

MS. ROCKY MOUNTAINS: "Oh I'm sure you do.  But - I recognize you now..  You're one of the new signings making his debut this week, aren't you, honey?"

Gavin was visibly shaken at being referred to as 'honey'.  It was almost as bad as that twitter exchange where he was called 'bucko'.  He looked at her, just shaking his head, giving a facepalm gesture soon after.  He had tried to be nice.  He really did.  But - someone always, always managed to say something that he didn't end up quite liking.  And right now?  It was her persisting in calling him things when he clearly wasn't a fan.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "You're right about everything but the part where you called me honey.."

He figured that she was just trying to flatter the new signee.  Maybe this whole relentless pursuit type of chick worked on some people, but, while she was nice from the neck down.  Nothing was going to sell him on that face.  So her feminine charms didn't quite have as much effect on him as she may of figured.  He just waited though, waiting for her to answer him because now he was legitimately curious as to what her reaction was going to be to his rejection.

MS. ROCKY MOUNTAINS: "Oh don't be so shy.  I'm sure those sweet boys in the Players Club would be very receptive to a lady such as myself."

Oh that was a name she just had to bring up.  Gavin rolled his eyes.  He thought of his opponents for Climax Control.  He knew enough about those men.  And he had a number of things he wished to say about them.  And he would, on his time.  But for now, he just shook his head at the comments of Rocky Mountains.  Good ole investigative journalism, he thought.  Trying to slyly get him to talk, throw out some harsh words about his opponents so she could 'get the scoop'.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Oooh the Players Club.  Don't get me started..  I'm sure they'd be receptive to that two dollar whore Mikah and I passed on the street to get here tonight, too."

Once again, the lady with the huge knockers gasped.  Was he likening her to some kind of a cheap hooker?  It certainly seemed like he was.  And it wasn't the most flattering thing one could of done, at that.  The woman tried to remain professional, after all, no use flying off the handle when someone was rude..

MS. ROCKY MOUNTAINS: "Soo..  seeing as how you bumped me."

Bumped her?  Gavin's mind went into the gutter for a moment, given how that sounded..  He just sighed and dusted off his clothes while he wondered what the point of all this was.  As you see, he was indeed aware of her job here.  But she seemed to be taking her sweet time getting to the overall point of all this.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Bumped into you.  I wouldn't bump you with a ten foot pole."

Cutting that off right then and there.  His facial mannerisms still showing a rather sour turn, at least towards her.  Which - of course it couldn't quite be helped, he was gaining some sort of pleasure out of giving her trouble like this.  After all, at his core, Gavin Stephens?  He was a bit of a bully..

MS. ROCKY MOUNTAINS: "No need to brag about your pole.  But - seeing as how this happened..  I'd like to ask you about your debut tonight.  Feeling excited about making your debut this evening?"

Finally to the point, Gavin thought.  Clenching his hands together as he thought to himself about her question.  Finally something he could sink his teeth into, though, he wasn't sure.  After all of that wasted time on her part, did he really want her to be the very first situation in his SCW career where he was allowed to utilize his talents of the spoken word?  It was a thinker.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Excited?  'Course I'm excited, Dusty Gozongas.  Listen - it's a new company, new horizons, new people.  People to conquer, people to decimate, people to annihilate, and people to use other words that end in 'ate' towards."

He spoke rather loud and vibrantly.  He commanded attention with his words, even when he was admittedly saying something ridiculous with the 'other words ending in ate' monologue.

    MS. ROCKY MOUNTAINS: "Even copulate?"

Eyebrow raising as he case his gaze back towards Rocky, instead of the camera, which it had been momentarily fixed upon.  All the charismatic speeches in the world, all of that personality he had been attempting to showcase couldn't of prepared him for that one.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Except that one, and any other weird ones.  You know, only the ones that mean hurt, maim, and so on.  Just for clarifications sake."

Whew.  Close call there, thought Gavin.  Letting out a sigh.  It was a shame that nowadays you had to clarify that sort of thing.  He was a old school sort where if you were telling someone how you were going to annihilate them, and so on, and so forth.  They could usually catch your drift!  Boy had things changed.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "But you know what?  I'm not just excited, I'm ecstatic.  Because tonight?  It's not just a debut.  It's not just a mere start.  Oh no, Breasticles McChesticles.  It's the beginning of something beyond the reaches of what any one of these monkeys in the backstage area, in the arena, or anywhere else for that matter can fathom."

Derogatively referring to your peers backstage as 'monkeys' had never been the best method to pop into a company, Gavin was more than smart enough to be aware of such things.  But - he had no sympathy for the people he worked with, and he would not, no, he could not go easy on them.  He would speak the truth about them, as he saw it.

MS. ROCKY MOUNTAINS: "Oh really?  And what might that be?"

Curiosity in her tone..  She wanted that scoop, and she wanted it bad.  But - better yet, there was a mystery suggested here.  What did Gavin mean by the notion that this was all more than just a debut?  That it was something beyond the comprehension of the people within the backstage area?  He had something in the works, but what exactly was it?!

GAVIN STEPHENS: "If I told you that, I'd be spoiling the fun of the surprise.  And you know - I might be the kind of guy to poop on everyone else's party.  Hell, I take joy in ruining things for other people.  But - I don't ruin my own fun.  So you Miss Wopbopaloobops..  You'll have to wait like everyone else.  Kay?"

He laughed at his own joke, finding it hard to keep a straight face during the 'Wopbopaloobops' comment.  He'd have to remember that one for later, it was certainly one of the many keepers of these names he had utilized to speak in reference towards her as.  It may have even been his favorite out of them all.

    MS. ROCKY MOUNTAINS: "...  Okay."

Stephens stared right at her, as if he were expecting some kind of an answer.  She knew that from his look towards her, and as a result, she gave him the only answer she knew.  The only thing she felt could get him to move forward and get back on track.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "No.  Say it like I did, or I'll make you say it until you get it right.  Get a little bit of a sarcastic tone in your voice..  '...  Kay?'"

But alas, it was not good enough.  As were many things people did that Gavin didn't feel too impressed with.  He was obnoxious, bold, brash, sarcastic, and he could very easily get on someones very last nerve.  All with minimal effort on his part.

    MS. ROCKY MOUNTAINS: "...  Kay.."

Victimized by Stephens, she just wanted to move forward.  That was all!  To be able to do her job, but Gavin wasn't really the best for her workplace productivity.  At this point, she had very little hope of even getting an interview out of him.  Given what he had turned all of this into.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "You got it!  Maybe you're not completely useless after all, Bertha Boulders.  Just you know..  mostly."

He gestured with his hand for her to leave, waiting patiently.  Though - she didn't seem to be quite getting the picture, despite the rather obvious hand gestures in her general vicinity..

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Now get out of my face."

Surprised by this, the woman looked on, confused.  He couldn't of been serious, right?  Who would talk to her like that?  People loved her.  Right?  People were fans of her.  She was a merchandise seller, and all that.  Why in the world would anyone be mean to her?  Unfortunately, she'd found someone as mean as they come on this day.  And he spoke with a rather straight, serious face..  He wanted her out of his sight, and now.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Run along..  Just don't run too fast or those things might bounce up and kill ya.  Kay, you're dismissed!"

His expression took on a rather malicious one as he laughed at her expense..  Once again leaning against the wall, he mockingly waved towards her as she turned and left.  He had cut that particular interview short, mostly through his own actions.  He realized that.  But - what he had to say?  He didn't need to share the spotlight for that.  Oh no.  The spotlight was going to be every bit his own when the time arose.  He watched her walk down the hall until she had completely left the scene, and he just grinned in a rather sly manner as the camera got a close up of this new, rather rude talent.  The shot lasted a bit before the smug individual turned and walked from the scene himself..

    = = = = =

A video package leaked out to the internet just prior to the Climax Control program, recorded later that day.  The package was woven full of clips of Gavin Stephens and his travels through various independent leagues, his foray into the big leagues, and so on.  The video clips put particular emphasis on his dominance over various opponents.  Between the woven in clips featured Gavin Stephens standing in a darkened room on his own, though, the effect over the clip gave it a grayscale effect.  Playing over this piece was his theme music, a little tune known as 'The Bad Guy' by Bronx Casket Company..

    "Here comes trouble
    Here comes pain
    Here comes everybody's
    Nightmare insane
    Here comes shadow
    The man in black

I don't care if you live or die
    Here comes the bad guy"

The serious of clips all faded away to see Stephens having walked up into the viewpoint of a camera.  The black and white effect remaining as he smiled at the camera.  Lights popping on over his head, though not a lot, it was enough to illuminate a little bit of the room he was in, to allow one to better see him.  He stood there, dressed in a rather casual state, a pair of jeans and a yellow shirt featuring what looked to be a red claw mark down the front, which was the logo of the comic book anti hero 'Catman', one of the many famous characters of whom Gavin was a fan of.  He started to walk back and forth, thinking to himself about how to begin..  Before finally speaking out, albeit, he was turned slightly away from the camera as he did.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "We..  we haven't been formally introduced, have we?"

Stephens paused momentarily, slowly but surely casting his gaze towards the direction of the cameras.  He looked into the lens, almost if he were asking the people watching that question.  Rather than you know, an empty room with him and a camera inside of it.  It was a rather bizarre thing to do to talk to ones self already, but, he was speaking not to that empty room.  But to his new public here in SCW.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Just as you will come to find I am the remedy for the many things that ails not just this company, but this business as a whole.  You will come to find that I too hold the remedy for this as well.  So allow me to introduce myself.."

Arrogantly referring to himself as a 'remedy to the problems in pro wrestling', or something like that.  A malicious, devilish smile appeared across the lips of Gavin Stephens as he extended his arms wide, standing far back enough from the camera that it could get a good view of a man that soon enough..  Soon enough they'd be getting more and more familiar with him week in, and week out.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "I am a lot of things to a whole hell of a lot of people.  Some good, some bad.  But to all of you that may be unfamiliar with who I am, and what I do..  Consider this your enlightenment.  I am the worthy among the worthless.  I am salvation of this, and any other nation.  I've been called the bad guy because it's the name of my bloody theme music, and I've been called a lot worse on top of it, rest assured."

Pacing the floor a little bit as he spoke, he reflected on the various rivalries he had in the wrestling business.  He hadn't been around as long as most, his big break came a bit later.  But - he had developed himself into quite the villainous act.  And that?  Well that certainly got under the skin of a many opponent, thought Gavin as he continued across the floor of the room.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "I am the Visionary, or even televisionary to some.  Because - you know, TV.  I am a man that can not, will not, and shall never lie to any of you..  I am Gavin Stephens."

He continued to relay the rhetoric that he was a man of truth.  That he was a man that would always, always be honest.  Though - the truth was subjective.  The truth was whatever he wanted it to be.  Of course, the man himself would never admit that.  But really, everyone could figure out he only said what he felt was true.  Which, it could very well of been.  But there was room for some bias there.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "As is the case with any company you first appear in.  A company where you've got to start over..  It's like a big reboot for me.  I'm reworking things in my head, figuring out how to do things not as much differently as previous places I've worked.  But to do them better."

He articulated a vision he had for this company, a vision for his arrival.  He wanted to do things better than he had in the past.  To achieve his goals faster.  He had dominated previous places he was employed, and he knew that didn't count here.  So he had to be fully prepared to streamline all of that and do it even better.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "And as I look deep within myself for answers..  I get this notification about a tweet.  I look and what do I see?  Enemies.  I see Caleb and Midas going on, yack, yack, yack.  God knows what with God knows who.  Tweeting at me about how their winning is this..  forgone conclusion.  And - I know the goal, I know it because I've done the same thing to many other people..  They want to make people mad, angry, push them too far.  Try to agitate them, because when you're pissy, you make mistakes..  Thing is, they're taking a weird avenue to do it."

Gavin had never really gotten the fascination with Twitter.  While it was a useful tool for connecting, and promoting ones self.  People had began to rely too much on how much they could annoy folks via that.  Rather than any sort of trying to actually piss people off using the one thing that mattered, their abilities.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Really guys?  It's Twitter.  You're not going to make anyone mad by tweeting, except maybe the Twitter twerps that do it way, way too much."

He proceeded to eye roll a bit as he looked back into the camera.  Only to stop and adjust the camera bit, turning it towards a wall that was behind it.  The camera was close enough to it that when Gavin came around, he was a bit more in view when he leaned up, back against that particular wall.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "Here's the thing, though.  For all the bad about Caleb and JT?  They achieved one good thing.  Only one though.  And it's not even good for them, so.  What was it?  They lit a fire under me."

He slumped down against the wall, thinking of what he wanted to do.  Actions..  they spoke a hell of a lot louder than words.  And right now Gavin wanted nothing more than to act.  He wanted nothing more than to cause some trouble in the life of the Players Club.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "The last time I wanted this badly to be a thorn in anyone's side.  The last time I wanted this badly to cause anyone problems?  Well..  Ask Equinox how that turned out.  Ask him.  Or take my word for it.  Take my word that I made his life a complete and utter hell.  That?  That I did for fun.  That I did to him for a couple of 'yucks'.  Think about what happens to people who go out of their way to attempt to get on my bad side and try to pester me?"

Shaking his head as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a packet of gum.  He ripped a piece of gum from within the packet, out of it.  Then proceeded to unwrap it, placing it in his mouth.  Cherry flavored gum to be exact, one of his favorites..  He chewed on the gum for the time being, thinking about some of the exchanges that had went down since this whole match came about.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "The best part is, this little 'Players Club' joke you've got going on.  I get what you guys were doing.  Putting together a little 'power group'.  You expect to come in the door and push everyone over, right?  Stomp out anyone that's gaining any momentum and steal it all for yourselves."

He could understand the tactic.  He'd seen it work for a many of a bad, bad group of people.  But - he didn't quite think Caleb and the rest were 'that bad' as it were.  They weren't the kind of people who could dominate.  Where as Gavin?  He was exactly the kind of person who could do what needed to be done.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "But you didn't expect Watts, you didn't expect Kaelin..  You didn't expect me.  Now see, I believe..  that things?  They all work out for a reason.  And you have yours, and I have mine.  My reason?  It's simple..  I want everything so all of you get nothing.."

Pointing right at the camera as he mentioned 'you', as if he were speaking directly at someone.  Gavin smiled devilishly as he relaxed against the wall, he knew his greed was shining through.  All of that avarice, and a bit of spite mixed in there for good measure.  He needed to ensure that he got it all, and that his enemies received nothing.  And it seemed he was now going to make all of that into his mission, to cut the Players Club down at Climax Control.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "I could tell you, I could tell you all how this is going to go.  I could pretend I have some mojo going on, act as if I see the future.  But I don't.  What I do know?  It's what I'm capable of.  It's what Alex Kaelin is capable of."

Grinning confidently, an obvious cocky swagger to everything he did.  As was to be expected.  Stephens stood up finally, feeling he'd rested up enough.  He dusted off his pants, before turning his gaze right directly into the camera once more.  He knew where he'd left off, and brief pause or not, there was a point that he needed to make.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "What I know Caleb?  JT?  It's that we..  I..  we're all going to irreparably harm you.  See - I get your game with the Players Club.  I get the 'gimmick'. A tired group of men pretending that they're a hot commodity amongst the fairer sex, a group of people who participate in complete and utter idiocy each day on Twitter, and genuinely prove that they..  You.  Caleb, Hydro, and JT.  That you are what is wrong with professional wrestling.  When people advocate idiocy and inferiority to the point you've became parodies of yourselves.."

He strolled back around the camera, spinning it around to keep a view of him as he continued to saunter around the place.  All these thoughts running through his mind, all of these things he could do or say to assault the credibility of the so called Players Club.  He turned and smiled toward the camera, as if he found the Players Club to be funny.  Or something about this entire scenario was funny, at the very least.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "That's how I know.  That's how I know that Watts, Kaelin, and myself will all be doing the right thing tonight.."

Was he right?  He certainly seemed to believe that the Players Club were something to be laughed at.  And as far as he was concerned, their little group?  Whatever this was with Kaelin working together with Stephens, and however Watts worked into all of this?  They were far, far from anything close to a laughing matter.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "When we snuff out the flames of this little group of yours before you ever get it off the ground.  Then finally - when that is said and done.  When we've left nothing more than a shell of what was once a 'Players Club'..  Then?  I will tear through Sin City Wrestling.  I will go at war with each and every one of your heroes, all of the people that Sin City Wrestling fans look up to.."

Gavin was very eloquent, very well spoken.  But he also commanded the attention of everyone when he spoke.  He was very well regarded in how well he could 'cut a promo' as wrestlers put it.  But - he was also accomplished in wrestling.  And - better yet?  He proceeded to threaten those within the backstage area of SCW once more.  Threatening that he would war with each and every one of them..  Bold, bold words from a very bold individual.

GAVIN STEPHENS: "And one by one, I will tear them to pieces and pick their bones clean before I'm done.  I will go on a path of destruction, tearing down everything you people hold dear to you, and taking all of the gold, the glory, and everything else I see that interests me in the slightest on my way.  I need it all, guys..  And I will have it.  Take it as a warning if you must, but to me?  It's simply what lies ahead.  The history of a time that's almost, almost upon us. You can fight, claw, and scratch all you want.  But none of you can do the one thing that is the most crucial.."

Stephens walked over to the other side of the room, turning his back for a minute as he picked up a jacket off the ground.  Something he'd work upon entering the room apparently.  You could barely see him for the most part as he was heard uttering the following word out..  What was it that his opponents simply could not do?  For him, it was a relatively simple thing.  But it was the one thing they were most incapable of.

    GAVIN STEPHENS: "Survive."

Gavin remained standing in front of the camera in full view, a blank expression as he gazed into a camera with some rather harsh looking eyes before he leaned in, reaching around the back of it and flipping it off.  As if the piece was recorded on a camera sitting on a tripod or something.  But finally, the scene faded to black with this piece having officially came to an end.  What was going to happen when Gavin Stephens made his in ring debut for the SCW?  According to him..  it might very well be the cause of the end of the Players Club.
