Jessie lost the match to Apple Coren but on that same night a civil war was announced between the Honor Wrestling alumni and the SCW superstars and Bombshells with both sets of titles being unified at Inception III: Night of Champions which just so happened to be the first Supercard of 2019, the following week Jessie wasted no time in pledging her allegiance to Honor Wrestling feeling that they had treated her better in the six months that she was in the company than SCW had in the six years she’s been with that company.
It didn’t take long for her next match to be announced either as Jessie was teaming with Alicia Lukas to take on the World Bombshell Champion Dani Weston and the SCW Bombshell Roulette Champion Sam Marlowe, otherwise known as Alicia and Jessie’s respective opponents at Inception III! A similar match was held the previous week being contested between the male counterparts in a match that saw SCW’s Fenris and Ty West come out on top but can Jessie and Alicia make up for their male counterparts’ failure?

When in doubt, check out some local metal bands.
Yeah, that’s basically why I’m here, turns out there’s quite a few small bands in Nevada too the point that Shane briefly considered forming a band with me on guitar, him on drums and Jake on vocals, we didn’t go through with it because we didn’t know any bass players and Shane wanted to get a second guitarist as well but all the guitarists in Vegas were already in bands, and then there’s the fact that we are still learning how to play our instruments and the only song Jake can sing is “Holy Wars, The Punishment Due” by Megadeth.
And there was no way in hell we wanted to turn into a Megadeth cover band.
Anyway, back to tonight, the show is consisted of five bands and we are waiting on the headline act, some Death Metal band called Ravenous Zombies, never even heard of them before tonight but I do love me some death metal.
Though I’d be lying if I said that I thought that all death metal was good.
That said, I know why you’re really here, you’re here for my thoughts on this week’s main event between me and Alicia Lukas and Dani and Sam? This will be a sign of things to come.
What do I mean by that? Wait and find out!
“So, tonight’s bands have ranged from okay to average to downright awful, in that order.” Shane commented as we watched the second to last band called Bringer of War (yeah, real original, I think John Kevil’s going to sue somebody) leave the small stage. “Who knows? Maybe Ravenous Zombies will end up being so awesome that I’d start praying that they get signed to Nuclear Blast tomorrow?”
“Or maybe they’ll be as bad as Hitler’s Bitch.” I responded as I shook my head remembering the third act of the night, the previously mentioned downright awful band who was trying so hard to be edgy and cool that it was laughable, hell the lyrics sounded like something from a teenaged edgelord’s Harry Potter fanfiction. “I’m now being reminded of why we moved to California, the bigger bands never really come to Vegas.”
“When was it? 2017 when Lamb of God and Anthrax’s tour came to Vegas?” Jake asked, and I nodded as I remembered conducting my promo from the pit, I can’t remember what match it was for (I mean come on, do you expect me to keep up with all the promos I tape? And this was before I joined Honor Wrestling) but I still remember it well. “At least we get regular tours over in California.”
“When half the state isn’t on fire at least.” I responded as I shook my head. “I still can’t believe Selena punched Christian! Or that she’s managed to find a new place of employment! Only in wrestling!”
“Yeah, under normal circumstances punching your boss is career suicide, on or off TV.” Shane pointed out before I took a sip from my drink. “I mean yeah, Christian has the most punchable face in wrestling since Tim Staggs but there’s a reason why you haven’t done it, and I’m not talking about the height difference.”
“And for the last time, you’re not bringing that pinata to Climax Control, do you really think Christian will take that well one week after being punched?” Jake quickly added, and I frowned in response. “You may as well be carrying a “fire me” sign hanging around your neck!”
“So, what you’re saying is, I should bring it to Inception III?” I asked with a grin and Jake face-palmed whilst Shane tried his best not to burst out laughing. “You know what? I’m going to use that as my cue to get my promo done.”
“We’ll text you when the last band comes on.” Jake responded as I stood up and I walked out of the small bar where the concert was being held, I found a relatively quiet spot but quickly decided against it when I saw the members of Hitler’s Bitch nearby, fortunately I found another quiet spot nearby and got ready to do my promo.
“Well, this was fun whilst it lasted.” I commented as I held up the Honor Wrestling Legacy Championship. “The bosses just can’t stand to see me be successful and once it became clear that I wasn’t going to be dropping this thing anytime soon, they went and made it so that the Honor Wrestling and SCW Title will merge at the first Supercard of 2019 Inception III where I’ll be taking on Sam Marlowe for the Roulette Title and Alicia Lukas will be taking on Dani Weston for the SCW World Bombshell Championship, and because Christian is about as allergic to originality as he is to being punched in the face, this week I’m teaming with Alicia to take on Dani and Sam in the Main Event.”
And that’s bad news for the SCW girls.
“This isn’t the first time I’ve teamed with Alicia, we teamed up twice in Honor Wrestling and we won both times, now correct me if I’m wrong here but I believe this is Dani and Sam’s first time teaming up? Because if it is then this match will be a sign of things to come because at Inception III none of the current SCW champions will be leaving as champions and this Sunday me and Alicia will be there to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and we’re all out of bubblegum.”
And I’m starting with Dani!
“Bet you thought I’d start with Sam, well I faced Dani more recently than Sam so there! Dani, your win over me in the Gold Rush Tournament was nothing but a god damn fluke and your subsequent rise to the top of the food chain in SCW’s Bombshell Division? Well with that much luck on your side I’m surprised you haven’t tried your hand at the casinos in Vegas! And before you bring up your title defenses, you only won those because your opponents made mistakes, mistakes that me and Alicia won’t make!”
Next up is Sam!
“Sam, I still remember the match we had the week after I decided to be the one voice of reason against the #BenDeservesBetter campaign and Parand Ara’s rehiring, you may be undefeated against me Sam but that ends this Sunday with or without Alicia’s help and that streak will continue through to 2019 where we will meet at Inception III and more importantly, I dethrone you for my third Roulette Title reign, I mean I’m sure you’ll get another chance at a title down the line but your reign won’t last long into 2019!”
And with that I decided to wrap things up as I got the text from Shane.
“It’s like I said earlier, this match will be a sign of things to come, me and Alicia have teamed before and we are undefeated in tag team competition, that’s not changing come Climax Control this Sunday where we will send a strong message to the other members of the SCW roster, Honor Wrestling isn’t going to lay down and play dead just because you where here first! This is the Heavy Metal Angel Jessie Salco signing off, Dani, Sam, like it or not you are looking at one of the two women who will be the ones to succeed you!”
I went back into the bar as the scene fades.
