Steve’s title reign ended even quicker than the first one as Ryan Keys managed to get the pin fall victory over Steve despite interference from Steve’s bodyguards, word through the grapevine is that Steve is already planning to cash in his rematch clause but with his match on this week’s edition of Climax Control that might have to wait.
This week’s co-main event was a ten-man battle royal that included Steve where the winner would go on to be the #1 Contender for the World Title, add to that the fact that the champ J2H was on commentary for this match and this was a huge match for everyone involved and who was involved? Steve, James Tuscini, Blade Alexander, Jeremiah Hardin, Joshua Acquin, Samuel Devereux, Xander Bishop, Calvin Harris, Jamie Dean and Samuel McPherson, Steve was looking to bounce back from his loss and this would be a huge opportunity to do just that but can he win?

Well, I ended the year as champion at least!
Welcome to my very first promo of 2017 and wouldn’t you know it? I’m in a similar situation to when I did my first promo of 2016! There’s only two differences, I’m divorced from Charlotte (thank god) and I’m getting married to a porn star in a few months but most importantly the match I lost just a few minutes ago, was for my Roulette Title!
And trust me, this isn’t the last Ryan Keys has heard from me!
But more importantly the second Climax Control of 2017 is this Sunday and I’m sure that I’m in contention for a title, why? Because I’m Steve Ramone damn it! Me without a title is like Kaylee staring in a movie where she doesn’t get naked/fuck other people on camera, it just feels wrong and I will soon rectify that fact!
Only thing is, I’m still waiting for this week’s card!
Right now I’m backstage at Climax Control holding a ice pack to my head, most of the other wrestlers have left by now, in fact I’m certain that the only other SCW roster members in the building are Christian and Mark since they usually oversee getting everything packed up and ready to go in preparation for the next show, Kaylee is sitting across from me and we are the only people in the locker room as Andreas and Cyrus are off trying to find out what my next match is, needless to say the wait is killing me.
“Steve, how do you even know that you’ll be in action this week?” Kaylee asked with a skeptical look on her face. “Yeah, you just lost the Roulette Title again but don’t you think that the bosses will give you the week off?”
“Normally I’d agree but we both know how unpredictable Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb are.” I responded with a frown on my face as I shifted my icepack from one hand to the other due to that hand getting cold. “I mean, when was the last time that I was booked on the same Climax Control as Jessie Salco before tonight?” I asked and Kaylee thought for a moment.
“Not sure, it’s definitely been a while.” Kaylee responded once she gave it some thought. “But then again, the bosses did allow the roster to sign up for this show and you and Jessie just happened to be among the first ones to sign up, hell I can see the same thing happening when the Blast from the Past Tournament starts.” Kaylee added before the door opened and Cyrus and Andreas entered the room. “Provided she makes it past round one for once.”
“She’s made it past the first round before, we were both in the Quarter Finals of the second tournament.” I responded as Cyrus closed the door behind them. “She just had shitty luck with opponents these past few years.” I added before turning to Cyrus and Andreas. “So, what’s the news? Am I even on the next card?”
“Yes, you are, just not in the way you were expecting.” Cyrus responded before handing over the card to me and I took it from him. “As we expected, next week’s Main Event is the World Bombshell Championship match between Melody Grace and Crystal Millar but it’s the match just before the Main Event that you are interested in.” Cyrus added and I read the card.
“Ten Man Battle Royal to determine the #1 Contender for the SCW Championship, holy shit, I just realized that J2H has held that thing for just under a year.” I realized before going over my opponents. “Okay, when did Jeremiah Hardin and Blade Alexander get back and why are they in contention for the title? And for that matter, what has Xander Bishop, Samuel Deveroux and Calvin Harris done to deserve a title opportunity? At least I can understand the logic behind putting former champions like Jamie Dean, James Tuscini, Joshua Acquin, me and a monster like Samuel McPherson in the match!”
“We don’t know, we’re just the messenger.” Andreas responded with a shrug and I frowned in response. “Best I can guess is that they needed more bodies to make it a Ten Man Battle Royal and included those guys based on their impressive in ring work.”
“I don’t care if these guys are former Olympians, back in my day we earned title opportunities!” I responded and Cyrus scoffed. “What?”
“Didn’t you interject yourself into the Internet Title Scene not long after your first reign ended?” Cyrus asked and my frown deepened in response. “And didn’t the bosses stick you in the Roulette Title Hunt so you would stop complaining about never getting a one on one title shot against James during his original reign?”
“No, they gave me the shot to stop me from going through with my plan to sue them for breach of contract!” I responded before shaking my head. “And as for the first point, do I need to remind you that I beat Kain just after he returned with the Internet Title in his sights?
“Yeah, after Rage interfered and got Kain disqualified because you called him out.” Andreas responded and I shook my head in response.
“That’s beside the point and we are getting off topic here!” I responded before handing the card back to Cyrus. “I’ll be back for my Roulette Title later but for now I will focus on the ten man battle royal, up for doing another news room seg with me Kaylee?”
“Considering that I banged my head against the desk when I finished the blowjob after the segment ended? No, not really.” Kaylee responded with a frown before getting an idea in her head. “But I do have an alternative to that.” Kaylee added before whispering the next part in our ears, granted she had to stand on her toes to reach up to Cyrus and Andreas since they were quite a bit taller than she was but still.
“I’m not even going to ask how you were talked into that or how uncomfortable you must’ve been afterworlds.” Cyrus responded as he shook his head. “You still have the tape?”
“Cyrus, I filmed that scene for Brazzers, not only do I have the tape but I have the website link as well.” Kaylee responded as she rolled her eyes before turning to me. “In the meantime, you want to do your promo here whilst we wait in the parking lot? I’m certain that security will be around to kick you out before you are finished if you do.”
“Look, if that does happen I’ll just continue the promo as I walk towards the parking lot.” I responded and they nodded in response before leaving the locker room, now that I was alone I got started on my promo.
“Well, in a way I did what I set out to do, namely I ended 2016 as Roulette Champion! However, because a certain punk has a lucky streak the length of my reasons why Donald Trump should not be President, which is long enough to span the length of this room, I am not heading into the first Supercard as Roulette Champion because once again the title was stolen from me by someone who is not, nor will ever be, on my level! Ryan, I will be back for my title, just you wait and see, but this Sunday I have a bigger prize in my sights and I just have to beat nine other guys to win it!”
I said as I shifted my weight.
“This Sunday I, alongside Xander Bishop, Calvin Harris, Samuel Devereux, Jamie Dean, James Tuscini, Joshua Acquin, Blade Alexander, Jeremiah Hardin and Samuel McPherson, will compete in a Ten Man Battle Royal to determine who will be J2H’s next challenger and just to make things more interesting, the Brat Prince himself will be joining Jason and Belinda on commentary! I have never felt sorrier for SCW’s commentary team than I will in this match but it’s not like it really matters, we all know that I’m the best wrestler in the match.”
But first, let’s get the guys who aren’t my concern out of the way.
“I’m sorry but since when did leaving a company after a long period of absence qualify you to challenge for any belt, let alone the top belt in the company? And for that matter, what have the new guys and the Angel Clan member done to deserve a shot? Encase you haven’t figured it out, I’m referring to Xander Bishop, Calvin Harris, Blade Alexander AKA the only guy in this match who predates my SCW debut aside from Acquin, Jeremiah Hardin and Samuel Devereux though considering that he’s the only male Angel Clan member you’d have to be especially dumb to not realize that he was the guy I was talking about! Doesn’t matter anyway, these idiots will all be tossed out like yesterday’s trash and in the case of Jeremiah and Blade, that’s exactly what they are!”
Now onto the real competition, starting with…….
“First on the chopping block as far as wrestlers who are worthy of a shot are concerned is James Tuscini, must’ve been rough having your team’s undefeated streak ended just like that and by another competitor in the Battle Royal for that matter, well you know what will suck even more? When you are busy trying to get Samuel McPherson over the top rope on your own I’ll be there to eliminate you both at the same time because I’m the smartest man in this match who also carries grudges! And speaking of Sam.”
Yep, he’s next!
“You know I almost grouped Samuel McPherson with the idiots that shouldn’t be in this match because all he’s done is be a hanger on for Lord Raab! So, what made me change my mind? Oh, I don’t know, how about the fact that said hanger on is the biggest man in this match! As I said before I’ll be tossing him out with James and I sure hope J2H will be watching as I single handedly eliminate my old foe and my biggest threat in this match because if that doesn’t send him a message then his days as champ are numbered!”
Next up, Jamie!
“To this day, I’m not sure how the name Team BJ didn’t cause a shitstorm courtesy of idiots who want to censor good television but then again if the sexual content that has featured in my segs since Kaylee made her on-screen debut didn’t cause a shitstorm then neither should this but I digress, Jamie it’s clear that you were put in the match because of your tag title reign with Ben Jordan but I don’t know if you’ve noticed this but the Tag Team and Singles Divisions in both Bombshell and Superstar locker rooms are completely different beasts and I can’t remember the last time you won a single’s match! And you’re not about to start with this match either!”
Finally, is Joshua Acquin.
“Why did I save Josh for last when I had faced guys like James more recently? Simple really, when I won the Roulette Title for the first time he was my first rival and I’m kinda expecting the same thing to happen once I beat J2H for the title at Inception II complete with you coming after me! What’s the matter? Trying to make up for your failure of a brother? Doesn’t matter because I’ll prove that I’m the best wrestler in this match and among the Superstars in SCW, just you wait!”
I got up and left the locker room on my own accord, why? So I can make a point as I wrap things up.
“These walls don’t know what’s in store for them in the coming weeks because I will be the one to dethrone J2H at Inception II and it will all have started here in Las Vegas! Yes, I still have unfinished business with Ryan but with me turning thirty at the end of the year I need to win a top title before it’s too late and I’m willing to beat up nine other guys to do it, in or out of the ring! This message has been paid for and delivered by “The Fearless One” Steve Ramone, the champion the fans deserve!”
I walked towards the parking lot as the scene fades.
