Blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brothers keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger, those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the LORD, when I lay my vengeance upon thee

Ben Jordan & Sam Marlowe Vs Lord Raab & Evie Baang

A Ben Jordan promo! You lot are lucky, cause this has happened a lot this last month! The New York City skyline can be seen behind Ben as the sun shines down on the streets below as Ben stands on a balcony high above the city streets. He stands with his back to the camera as he looks down at the life below before finally turning around and looking down the camera. Ben is wearing beige cargo pants, three quarter length, and white trainers. On his upper body, a blue short sleeved buttoned up shirt rests around his muscles. Over Ben's shoulder, the SCW Tag Team Championship belt. Ben smiles down the camera.

"Alright people." He says with a cheery voice "You shoulda figured this out but it's that time where we do a little intro for all you good people."

A smile crosses over his face.

"Barring a little trip with JD back to Oasis." Ben starts "I've been having a blinding time in New York City. It's been amazing, this really is the city that never sleeps and for a geezer like me, it's almost heaven. It's been a bit of a weird week too if I'm honest. It's been a bit of a group divide."

He shrugs his shoulders sadly

"For a group that's pretty close knit, we've all had to take a bit of a step back." Ben explains "The whole let's all hang out thing has been on hold with Evie and Markus. Ryan is preparing for the biggest defence he's had to date, Amy has been scrambling to find out everything she can about Devona, Samuel has been helping getting Markus ready to face me, Evie's been getting herself ready to take on a former two time Bombshell champion and Jamie's been working out how to stop a guy who came close to the World title on more than one occasion. The group has had less time together."

Ben waves his finger at the camera.

"Then add the amount of promotional stuff we have to do on supercard week." He says with a smile "I live for that stuff. I love being around the fans, I love being in places I can talk about what I love to do. I love to be in a position where I can talk about something I love with so much passion, and New York, you have opened your arms to us SCW people and welcomed us well. You gave me a chance to get out there and talk to so many people. I've been posing with my Tag Team Championship with what feels like a million of ya. I've been in so many selfies, it's been bloody amazing."

He smiles widely.

"I don't think I've ever smiled so much in my life." He says with a grin on his face. "I've seen the sights, I've been around brilliant peeps and had the time of my life here, but I haven't just been hanging out with you guys all the time."

He quickly shakes his head.

"I've actually done a ton of promotional stuff while I've been here." He says with a nod. "I've been on the radio, and I've been on the television. In fact, I was on one of the most popular shows on television, one of the longest running shows on television, it's actually older than me, and was more fun than I thought."

Ben bites his lower lip.

"I'm a wrestler and it's a wrestlers duty to promote as much as possible. No different from any other promoter, it's about getting ya aris in seats." He said with a firm nod "And lord knows, I promoted my aris right off recently but in case ya missed it when it actually happened. Put ya feet up and enjoy this, because this will not only give ya an action replay, but show ya stuff you don't get to see on the television. Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy this and I'll be back to talk to you all very soon."

Ben winks down the camera as we fade in to the first scene.

*******

WFAN - New York 101FM Radio station.

It happens to every SCW star at supercard week, stars appear on television, radio and in newspaper and Internet interviews.

Ben finds himself in the studio of a radio station, opposite not one, but two hosts - Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts. A commercial plays over the air as Ben converses with the two.

"You've done this before?" Joe asks Ben.

The Englishman nods towards Joe, a smile on his face.

"Many times mate." Ben tells him. "I seem to draw the radio gigs more than most I think because of me accent."

"Well New Yorkers love the English accent." Evan chimes in. "People flicking through their stations in their car hears that accent, they'll stay tuned in."

"I hope so." Ben says "Would help me company out a little bit."

The commercial ends and Joe speaks.

"And we're back here on the Joe and Evan Show on WFAN 101 FM." Joe says "And right now, we have a very special guest joining us."

"Not only has this man come all the way from London, England, via his current hometown of Havana, Cuba." Evan adds "But he's also made his name wrestling in Nevada and California. He is employed by one of the most popular wrestling companies in the Nevada area, and if currently one half of the SCW World Tag Team champions."

"So let's give a big New York City welcome to Mr Ben Jordan." Joe continues "Welcome to the studio Ben."

"Thanks." Ben says politely "And what an introduction that was lads."

"We do try." Evan says "Now Ben, tell us what an Englishman, living in Cuba, wrestling in Las Vegas, is doing here in New York."

"Well the company I work with, Sin City Wrestling, is on the final leg of it's two month tour and they're holding a supercard at the Carnesecca Arena, on May the 14th, this coming Sunday." Ben tells the hosts.

"For people not aware, what's the difference between a regular card and a supercard." Joe asks.

"It's pretty much the same as if you're super sizing up on anything." Ben explains. "Twice the matches, twice the action, lots more twists and turns, and huge matches where anything can happen."

"Now our researchers say that you're in a fairly big match yourself on that show." Evan comments.

"That I am." Ben starts "I'm in a tournament final where men team with women and teams are randomly drawn and the winners will headline the next supercard for the top belt."

"But you was drawn with a friend?" Joe adds.

"I was." Ben fires back quickly "I was drawn with one of my best friends, Sam Marlowe. We've had some great laughs since we've known each other, she's like family to me, and we was completely lucky to end up teaming together."

"And you have some kinda relationship with your opponents this week so we're told" Evan comments.

"I do. I live with one of them." Ben says with a laugh.

"Oh, you're facing your girlfriend?" Evan asks.

"Nah, and she'd probably break ya fingers saying that." Ben says with a smile "One of my opponents is my house mate. It works out for us just well, we don't annoy each other and she's learned to make a wicked cup of tea. My other opponent is a guy I've been helping out a lot lately. He's known not to play well with others and saw that I do, so we were put together for me to try and introduce him in to being more social and it's worked to the point where he and my house mate are pretty close."

"So they're together in a relationship?" Evan asks.

"I don't think his husband would approve too much of that." Ben says with a laugh. "Nah, but it's good to see him more friendly."

"Is it tougher to face people that you know like that?" Joe asks calmly.

"It's tougher to talk about them to be fair." Ben answers honestly "We're in a hype business. We're meant to be hyping our every move, we're meant to be getting people interested and you see it a lot in this game, as well as in boxing or MMA, that hate sells and it's tough to talk about people who you don't hate."

"So how do you get people interested in a match like this?" Evan asks.

"I don't buy the fact that fans are stupid or that they see what they want." Ben starts "Fans are smart people, they know talent when they see it and they see it here. They see four people with a chance to really entertain and go further in their career. Losing this match isn't career suicide at all, people who get this far tend to go on and do well. The fans already see this is about talent rather than salesmanship. They know it's four people who get on well trying to out do the other. They'll tune in to see if this friendship is gonna explode and melt down I think."

"You've been in SCW for a number of years on and off." Joe starts "Where would this rank in your biggest matches?"

"Oh it's way up there." Ben says with excitement "I'm looking forward to it. It will be in my top five matches in SCW for various reasons. I've got to team against and go against legends, and won a few titles, but this will defo be up there no doubt. It's not often you team with a friend to go against friends, so yeah, this one is gonna be special."

"Have you faced them before?" Evan asks.

"I've faced Lord Raab before." Ben says tapping his chin "And I have a great record against him but I know him well, he's a tough guy to go against for many reasons and I believe he's gonna have a great run for the rest of this year and beyond."

"And his partner?" Joe adds.

"Nah. SCW have a great rule in place. No men Vs women matches. I honestly agree with this rule and for some reason puts people off coming in to join us, but I think when you have two divisions as strong as each other, there's no need to mix them up and let some people get lost in the shuffle." Ben says firmly. "But I do know Evie well. Like I said, she's my house mate, we hang out a lot, and I've seen her train at times and I know she's not one to be taken lightly."

"Do you feel your partner can handle that?" Evan asks

"Oh of course." Ben says with a smile "Sammi can take on anyone. She's former two time Bombshell champion, which is amazing cause she's still relatively new in wrestling terms. She was an underdog and derailed a woman who had the belt for nine months. It was a shock at the time but it shows what she can do with her back against the wall."

"Would you consider you guys favourites for this match?" Joe asks Ben.

"I wouldn't personally." Ben says with honesty "But if you talk to others, they see us as the favourites and I have no idea where to listen. I would say it's too close to call. I think no one would be surprised at who would win this and I think that's the draw to it. You get a huge fave or a huge underdog and people wanna see the underdog do it, they wanna see history made, they wanna be part of something big. With this match, I think it's so close to call, people will watch to see what happens."

"Do you feel confident going in to a match like this?" Evan asks "A match that you feel is so close to call."

"I feel confident in my abilities." Ben says with a firm nod. "I'm more than confident in my partner to do what she has to. I'm confident in the fact I know I can put on a show for the fans and give them a match to remember. Am I confident in a result? Like I said, too close to call. It's a tough one for me to figure out, but I can promise I will give it  my everything in that ring and make it worth ordering to watch online, and make it worth it for the people who have paid good money to come to the show. I know it ain't cheap, I know it takes some effort to come see us, so we do appreciate it."

"You're currently a champion." Joe comments "Will you lose that championship if you lose on Sunday?"

"No." Ben says with a shake of his head "Either way, my championship will come home with me, but there's another match on the card that will determine a number one contender to my title and we'll face the winners of that soon after this show."

"Will having that match on the show hinder how you mentally prepare?" Evan asks. "Is there a chance it may distract you from your own?"

Ben runs his chin as he looks at both hosts.

"I doubt it very much." He says "I tend to watch everything I can on the show anyway. It helps me out to know what's going on with people I work with. You might clash with some, but it's fairly handy to know what they're doing on the show themselves for future reference. Nine times out of ten, I've got me face in a monitor somewhere for the most part. Even when I'm warming up, there's always a screen somewhere in front of me so I can see it. What people don't see is that I might be a wrestler, but I was a fan first."

"Do you get star struck seeing legends appear." Joe asks.

"I've worked with a lot of them, but yeah, at times I do become a fan again." Ben says with a grin "But one of my best friends is Drake Green, so I get to hang with him when I get a chance. The guy is a wrestling legend, a movie star, one of the most well known names on the planet but being as I get to be around him a fair amount, I see less of the star, and more of the man.... Sorry if ya listening Drake."

Ben laughs as the co-hosts smile.

"Can you see yourself following Drake's path in to movies?" Evan asks. "Maybe starring opposite Drake Green?"

"Right now, no." Ben admits "Fully committed to what I'm doing at the moment. I can't imagine me really going in to movies, but if I did with this accent, I'd have to be the bad guy. All Englishmen are bad guys. In seriousness, if I did, then starring opposite Drake Green would obviously be on my movie bucket list."

"Well Ben..." Joe says "You've been a great guest and we've appreciated your honesty about everything, but we are running short on time with this segment of the show, but while we still have time, feel free to give the fans some information on the show."

"Into The Void VI at the Carnesecca Arena this coming Sunday." Ben starts "Doors open at seven. I'm not gonna make promises I can't keep so I will be honest with you. This show will be amazing. We have some of the best in the world competing this weekend. Drake Green will be in action, J2H will be in action, Rage will be in action, Melody Grace will be in action, Polly Playtime will be in action, Ryan Keys, Jamie Dean, Jessie Salco, Evie Baang, Lord Raab, Sam Marlowe, I will be on the show as well as many other SCW stars. It's not something you want to miss."

"And you will be on television again tomorrow." Evan states.

"I will." Ben says with a smile "I will be on Saturday Night Live with Sam Marlowe. You won't wanna miss that either."

"Thanks for coming in Ben." Joe says "We'll see you on Saturday Night Live tomorrow."

"Stay tuned in with us here on WFAN 101 FM for the Joe and Evan show." Evan adds. "We'll be back right after this."

A commercial plays and Ben shakes the hosts hands as we cut to....

*******

Now boys and girls, this is the part you play along a little bit, we know you're seeing this on Friday but you know, just say for fantasy sake and well, because this is fantasy, that really, you've jumped in the future to Saturday night.... Are you ready? Good, and GO! See, that wasn't too painful, was it?

The banner for Saturday Night Live flashes on the screen, before going to the backstage area of the show. People rush around talking in to headsets before the camera moves through them, moving towards a man standing near a catering table. The camera moves toward the man to show him as a nervous looking Ben Jordan. Ben is wearing a black suit, with a white shirt and blue tie. He stands talking in to his phone.

"I honestly don't know" He says down the phone. "Seriously Jamie, I don't know what this is about. Sam said she had it in hand, just show up, dressed like this and she's not here and I'm not panicking or anything, but let's just say if I wasn't wearing this jacket, part of the shirt would look darker."

Ben pauses as he waits for his friend, Jamie Dean to talk on the other end of the phone.

"I know it's gross JD." Ben says with a higher pitch to his voice "Trust me, the Mitcham ain't working under the jacket at this point. Sweating up a storm cause I dunno what's going on. I thought it was a TV interview or something."

Ben waits again for Jamie's response.

"No, I've never..." Ben lowers his voice "I've never seen Saturday Night Live."

A look of guilt crosses Ben's face as he observes people working backstage, admitting that he'd never seen what their hard work was for.

"Not even five minutes of it." He admits down the phone. "No one's given me any lines or given me anything at all. I'm just here feeling like a proper raspberry."

Ben waits for Jamie's words to roll through the phone.

"I got nothing mate." Ben says slowly "I've tried calling Sammi, and heard nothing back, I've left messages and texts and everything and not a peep back."

Ben awaits another response from Jamie.

"I won't lie to ya son, I'm looking at the exit and tempted to leg it." He says seriously "I'm always game for a laugh, always up for a giggle but the unknown worries me more than a little, ya know. Makes be feel like me arse is being tickled with a feather."

Ben rolls his eyes as he listens to Jamie's reply.

"Yep." He starts "As soon as that left me lips, I knew it was gonna be the wrong thing to say, just knew it. Either way, I'm here, I'm backstage, I'm pretty sure there's a live crowd out there and I just dunno what to do at this point."

Ben takes a deep breath.

"And what if she doesn't turn up?" Ben asks "I know she wouldn't leave me in the lurch like this but she told me to be here half an hour ago."

Ben listens to Jamie's response down the phone.

"What do you mean I'm always late?" Ben says shocked "Might be the occasional five minutes, ten minutes, the odd half hour, but I'm generally on time."

Ben bites his lower lip as Jamie talks once more down the phone to him.

"Really?" He says questioning Jamie "I never thought I was that late, at least not all the time."

Ben raises his eyebrows as  Jamie speak down the phone to him again.

"Well I'll be a monkey's uncle." Ben says surprised "I'll have to get me arse in gear more often to be on time."

Ben looks through a crowd of people, looking to finally see Sam Marlowe walking towards him through the crowd, politely smiling at the welcoming people.

"Oh thank God." Ben says down the phone. "She's here. Ok, I should go and if she don't help me out by telling me what I'm doing here, then I hope they have a bloody good editing team."

Ben waits for Jamie to talk.

"Live... clue's in the title?" Ben says through gritted teeth "bollocks!"

Sam approaches Ben, finally finding herself free of the crowd.

"Gotta go JD." Ben says "Have a good un and I'll catch ya after this."

Ben hits a button on his phone and slides it back in to his pocket, looking at a surprised Sam Marlowe. She looks at Ben with a tilted head.

"Wow." She says surprised "You're actually here on time. I thought you was gonna be late as always."

"You told me to be here half hour ago Ginge." He starts "So I've been starting here like a right lemon for the last half hour, and all these people assume I know what's going on and I don't have a scooby."

"I told you to be here half an hour ago, cause you're always late, prat." Sam fires back "The one time you're actually early."

Ben rolls his eyes at the shorter woman, shaking his head.

"I'm not always late." Ben fires back "I might bend the parameters of time every now and again, but late, nah."

Sam nods at Ben her head bopping up and down in a slow but serious movement.

"Oh you are." She says calmly.

"So what am I here for?" Ben asks. "Everyone keeps looking at me like I know what I'm doing and I haven't got a clue."

Sam looks around, pointing to the catering table.

"Have you tried the food here?" She asks "I hear it's pretty good."

Ben raises an eyebrow towards her, before his face turns to suspicion.

"I believe you're trying to distract me Ginge." Ben says looking through suspicious eyes "It's almost like you don't want me to know what's going on around here."

"Why would I do that?" She asks, fighting back a smile.

"I don't know but I don't like being in the dark." He says quietly "There's monsters in the dark and I don't like being around those monsters"

Sam shakes her head, turning away from Ben with a smile on her face, hiding it from the Cockney. She turns on her heels to look back at Ben.

"You've been watching too many detective shows again." She tells him. "You know you get like this when you watch too many."

"Well I do love Blue Bloods." Ben admits "And Elementary, and of course there's Chicago PD and then there's...."

Sam puts up her hand stopping Ben from continuing and causing him to poke out his lower lip.

"If ya listed all ya favourite police shows, you'll be here till tomorrow." Sam tells him.

Ben scratches his chin as he looks at her with a suspicious look.

"So..." He says slowly "Gonna tell me what's going on here? Why I'm dressed like this and why there sounds like a lot of people out there?"

"Is that your phone ringing?" Sam asks.

Ben lowers his eyebrows and reaches in to his pocket, pulling out his phone and looking at the black screen. He turns his head back towards Sam with his eyebrows lowered.

"No." He starts. "No it was not... So why ya trying to avoid my question? What's going on here?"

Before they can continue talking, a woman steps in front of them with a mobile make up set in her hand. She looks at Ben.

"Let me just take that shine off your forehead Mr Jordan." She says "It won't look good under the lights and it's my job to make you look good for TV."

Before Ben can protest, she quickly takes a make up sponge in her hand and quickly drops it in to a circular container of powder and dabs it on to Ben's forehead and smoothes it across. Ben's face scrunches up and the woman points her finger at Ben.

"Please Mr Jordan." She slightly pleads "Please keep your face straight. I don't want it to get in your eyes."

Much to Sam's amusement, Ben does what he's told as the woman moves the sponge over his forehead, smudging it to blend in with Ben's natural tones. She steps back admiring her work with a smile.

"Much better." She says to herself. "Have a great show Mr Jordan."

"Thanks luv." Ben says as she walks away.

He turns his head towards Sam, tilting it towards her and looking at her through narrowed eyes.

"I'd enjoy the show much more if I was either out in the crowd or knew what the bloody hell I was meant to be doing." He tells Sam, drawing an agreeing nod from the redhead. "So wanna give me a clue? Even a little clue?"

Sam looks at Ben and shakes her head at him, causing him to sigh. A middle aged man walks towards the duo as they look at each other.

"Hi guys." He starts "I'm the producer. Just letting you know they'll be ready for you in five minutes so if you wouldn't mind making your way over to those little steps there, when I prompt you to go on, just step on out and smile and do your things. Have a good show."

Ben raises his finger but the busy man walks away from the two and towards someone else, Ben looks towards Sam.

"Ok, no more joking." He says with a touch of nerves. "What's going on here?"

Sam stands in front of him and straightens up his tie, and pulling his jacket forwards, quickly buttoning up two buttons.

"Don't worry." She says soothingly "You'll be fine. Just go out there and be yourself. Just have fun out there and don't take anything seriously."

She takes him by the arm and walks towards the steps and they're quickly joined by the producer. Sam tugs at Ben's arm.

"You'll be great." She tells him once more as the director points to them to step through the curtain.

Ben turns towards the camera nearby.

"Forth wall break down! I bet this has got you all curious." He says smiling "Well me too, cause I dunno what the bloody hell to expect walking through there. You're in the same boat as I am, so I guess we should all wait to watch Sam's promo before we find out, eh?"

Ben winks at the camera as the two step out and the scene fades.

*******

Not too long after Saturday Night Live....

Ben sits on the hotel room balcony, his eyes glaring down at the New York City skyline, adrenaline from tonight's earlier activities still running though his veins as he breathes deeply. A noise can be heard from inside the hotel room, clearly someone else inside the room, as footsteps are heard moving across a hard wood floor. The person inside reveals themselves as they step out of the room, holding two beer bottles, to show the person as Jamie Dean. Jamie steps through the doorway, placing a beer on a small table between the two and sits on the other side of the table to Ben, the table on Ben's right and Jamie's left. Ben looks towards it before reaching down and wrapping his fingers around the beer.

"Cheers mate." Ben says, his Cockney tone filling the New York air.

He raises the bottle, as does Jamie next to him, and the two men knock the bottles together, simultaneously moving the bottles towards their lips.

"So how'd I do out there tonight?" Ben asks Jamie.

"Funniest stuff I've seen in a while." Jamie responds "Who would have thought you'd have come to New York to debate with a comedian dressed up like an idiot?"

Jamie turns his head towards Ben, flashing a smile towards the Englishman.

"Well last time I was here..." Ben says trailing off for a few seconds "I got an up close look of Chrissy Tiegan's bangers while she made a few perverted jokes and beat you on Lip Sync Battle."

Ben smiles towards Jamie who rolls his eyes.

"Always going back to that one, huh?" Jamie says raising his beer.

"It was my first singles title in years." Ben quickly responds with a smile towards Jamie. "Gotta big up the gold from time to time JD."

Jamie nods towards Ben as he takes a sip of his beer.

"This is the curse of Blast From The Past mate, haven't had chance to big up the tag gold." He says with a sigh. "Shoulda dropped out as soon as I won the tag titles back."

Jamie raises an eyebrow as he looks across at Ben.

"You do know you're in the final, right?" Jamie questions "You've gone through three other teams, booked your spot at a supercard that looks like one of the strongest SCW has put on, and got a chance to win, a good chance to win?"

Ben eyes open wide as he looks towards Jamie, his jaw dropping.

"I did that?" Ben says with mock surprise "I did alllllllllll that?"

"If you wasn't so cute...." Jamie says trailing off

"And charismatic" Ben adds.

Ben picks up his beer and takes a gulp of it, looking at Jamie with a smile on his face.

"I know I've done all that." He says "But I never expected to get to the final. It's not a knock on Sam at all, she's been a trooper mate, it's me."

"What about you?" Jamie asks with a tone of curiosity in his voice.

"Well I had me mind set on something." Ben starts "And now it's fairly unlikely. I planned on knocking this game on the head, getting out of the ring while I can still walk, talk and have all me teeth. I was happy to step in to something like management and leave it at that. Find a bunch of people that thought they could do well out of having a geezer who used to mean something in wrestling and guide people instead of getting me aris kicked."

Jamie looks at Ben seriously, his eyes narrowed as he looks at his fellow tag team champion.

"You're talking like you've done everything there is to do in wrestling and you really haven't." Jamie says with a slow tone. "You're making it sound like you're washed up and you're not."

Ben lifts the beer bottle to his chin, tapping it before taking a drink from it and looking back towards Jamie on his right.

"I am mate." Ben says slowly. "I've fallen on me arse in SCW. I stuck around cause people wanted me here, I did it all for the fans who have to go out to work their bollocks off, just to buy a ticket. I did it because this world is a shitty ol' place at times and people need to see what they wanna see and for some reason, I was it. I was part of what people wanted to have a butchers at as a way to chill out a bit, but now, it's more of a drain on me. I ain't giving them what they deserve to see anymore."

"To quote Del Boy..." Jamie starts "Don't be a plonker your whole life Rodney!"

Ben smiles at the reference from the British sitcom and shakes his head.

"Oh bloody hell, Del!" Ben returns, another popular line from the show "In seriousness mate, my mind was focused on taking it easy, finishing up me contract as a regular manager, helping out others to get to the top. Those that can't do, teach."

"Oh that's horse shit and you know it." Jamie says with a rare outburst "Do you know how many people are urging you on to win on Sunday? There's people all over the world that want to see you go for the top title. There's people everywhere that would much rather have someone fresh like you at the top and not someone who's been there before? It's the trend these days."

"People wasn't too caught up in that wave for Jeremiah Hardin." Ben comments.

"Well Jeremiah Hardin wasn't as over as he should have been to even get a shot, let alone win in." Jamie adds "People love champions who stand out, losing to Ivan Darrell one week and winning the title the next is not believable. A man winning the Blast From The Past tournament, while being a champion ready to step up to the top level, now that is earning it. That's what it's about"

"What is?" Ben replies

"It's about earning it and you've done that." Jamie tells him "You've busted that ass here for years, and got through this tournament with not too many problems. You and Sammi were favourites from the start and the only people on the roster that didn't see it, was you two. Now you made it to the final Ben. If you two win, you're at the top, you're going up against whoever wins those multi people matches. If you lose, the lowest you and Sam will be going is Internet level."

"Still leads me to where I am right now." Ben remarks, causing Jamie to look confused.

"What do you mean?" He asks slowly

"Well..." Ben starts "I'm facing the Internet champion at Into The Void VI, if I don't beat him there, I won't get dropped on Internet level, if I do beat him, I get put top level. It's basically an all or nothing for me. I either win and get it all, or lose and get fuck all."

Jamie bits his lower lip as he ponders Ben's point. Ben raises his finger as he points to the next balcony, leaving Jamie confused. Ben lowers his voice to a whisper.

"The neighbour here's a bit weird." He whispers "Always giving me funny looks."

Jamie looks more confused, but his confusion changes to a smile as he sees the neighbour Ben is referring to, is none other than flat mate, friend and opponent for Into The Void VI, Evie Baang. Evie looks over at Ben with narrowed eyes. Ben returns the look with narrowed eyes.

"Benjamin." Evie says with a growl like tone.

"Evelyn" Ben returns the same tone.

"Don't call me that." She orders towards Ben in a military tone.

"I didn't call you that." Ben says with a growl "I called you Evelyn."

Evie growls towards Ben but Ben growls back.

"God damn." Jamie comments. "It's like two dogs arguing over a tennis ball"

Evie points at Ben with a single finger before pointing at her eyes with two fingers, but Ben shoos her away with the back of his hand. Evie moves back in to her hotel room and Ben looks at Jamie.

"Damn." He says surprised "You two are really taking this seriously."

Ben shakes his head.

"Nah." He replies "This is about who's buying the pizza later. I say it's her turn and she tells me that's bollocks."

"You know that dispute wouldn't have happened if you would have just let me pick up a bucket of chicken from the colonel like I wanted to" Jamie tells Ben

Ben smiles as he picks up his beer and takes a gulp before looking back at Jamie.

"Anyway." Ben continues "I lose, I'm out of the single belts, so the new plan is to keep these tag belts and rebuild the division, it's gone off the boil a bit since Jet City went, there's still a lot of great teams, and that new team coming in that was announced so maybe the best thing to do is sit there and rebuild that"

Jamie shakes his head as he look at Ben, Ben turning his head to the New York skyline.

"I think you're selling yourself short." Jamie tells Ben. "We're beaten The Monstimals before, I think you could beat Raab, I don't know why you're not as confident as usual."

"Well you wanna see your friends do well..." Ben says with a shrug.

"I agree, and that's why you should want to see Sammi do well." Jamie says "This is something you two both deserve and should go and get. Everyone knows Evie is gonna be a Bombshell champion some day, everyone knows this. Raab has been at the top, but you and Sammi could give people what they want and have two guys that are actually known for being nice, at the top. Despayre was that nice guy at the top, everyone rooted for him and he didn't make it, you guys could."

Ben leans back in his chair, looking across at Jamie.

"Could but not too sure mate." Ben says wearily. "Not gonna lie though, would be blinding to win one of these things. It's like the thing most don't get ahold of. People can win titles all day long but to win this tournament, well that would be something. To win the whole thing is something that comes along once a year."

"And has kicked many careers in the ass." Jamie comments "So many people have won this thing and done great things and I truly think Ben, this is your time to do the exact same thing. Win this and you step to the top."

"And the tag titles?" Ben asks.

"Maybe they'll let us defend them till we lose them." Jamie says thoughtfully "They credit us a lot with building the tag team division, plus the match at Into The Void VI name number one contenders"

"Guess it will all become clearer after this show what to do." Ben says with a shrug. "Either way, chance of a lot of decent opponents out there."

"Don't worry about who you could face." Jamie advises "Worry about getting up a plan to get past Raab and then deal with everything else. In a few days time, you could be the number one contender to the SCW World Heavyweight title."

"Does have a nice ring to it." Ben says with a smile and raising his glass. "Maybe I should actually talk about it...."

"You're gonna cli..." Jamie starts but...

Ben clicks his fingers, forcing the scene to freeze

*******

Ben waves his hand in front of the frozen Jamie's eyes, Jamie not blinking of moving. Ben smiles at the camera.

"We've gone full circle, back to where this promo started. Clever, eh? I know intro Ben would have told you we'd speak soon and he was right." He says with a grin "Cause here we are to talk about the match. I know a lot of people wanted to see it, see a few friends have a ruck and ladies and gents, you get to see it."

Ben pauses for just a second.

"Before I start talking about Evie and Lord Raab, first off, I gotta say thank you to someone." Ben starts "Sam Marlowe, thank you. Thank you for all the effort you've put in so far and all the effort you're gonna put in at Into The Void VI. Thank you for everything. People may have saw us as the favourites when it started, and you've lived up to the tag and pulled me alone for the ride. Cheers for that, teaming with you has been absolutely diamond."

Ben nods his head solemnly.

"It's madness." Ben says with a chuckle "Teaming with a great friend, and facing a house mate, and a guy I've helped overcome so many things. Now Evie, we had a little bet, you remember?"

Ben taps the side of his head and nods.

"A little bet about who will get that top title first." Ben says "And this will go a long way to shooting one of us in the arse and pushing us to the stars here. Just gonna ask ya not to break my Playstation when me and Sammi win this thing. It's like my baby and you know it, it's innocent so when we come through it, leave the innocent Playstation alone."

Ben smiles down the camera.

"Little bit of extra motivation there Eves, you know I'm competitive and gonna wanna win this thing." He starts "Now last week, getting to the final seemed a distance away and I'd have been happy to just get here, and now I am, not only do I fancy winning this whole thing, but very much fancy winning our bet. I think I'll leave it there for now, cause I know Sammi's got a lot to say about ya so I'll let her do the talking about ya and focus on the fella who will be serving up the knuckle sandwiches towards me mush."

Ben takes a deep breath.

"Now I'm only gonna refer to you as Markus only at times because we're meant to be building up to a match, not having a bro loving session, but Markus..." Ben says before pausing, his face turning to sincerity "I'm proud of you mate. You've overcome so much and the fact that you've gelled well with Eves is a testament to how far you've come as a person. As a man, you've really stepped up and showed the world that no matter how set in your ways someone can be, no matter how used to things you are, you can change for the better, you can do what people think you never had in you. For that, I am proud of you for knocking down those walls that confined you for so long."

Ben nods firmly.

"Having said that, still gonna kick the arse of Lord Raab." Ben says before poking his tongue out. "See, Lord Raab is not Markus Raab. Markus Raab is a changed man but Lord Raab is still a beast in the ring, Lord Raab is still the man who's gonna look at me the way he looks at every opponent. He will be seeing me as a man who is trying to stop him from reaching his goals. As a man who is trying to get that World title shot and deny him from a position where he thinks he deserves to be. I am the man in the ring stopping him, blocking his path from his final destination. Do you think that he is gonna play nice with me because I show Markus normality?"

Ben shakes his head.

"Is he bollocks." Ben states. "Markus might like me, Lord Raab is programmed to fight and I'm the next guy in his way and I wouldn't have it any other way."

Ben shrugs his shoulder as he reaches for the beer on the table, taking a sip.

"I don't want to be the guy who gets through this match because my opponent respected me so much, that he eased up." Ben states firmly. "I wanna be like Anthony Joshua was a couple of Saturday's ago. If you don't know who he is, one, get out from under that rock, two, youtube people. AJ is a boxer who got knocked on his arse by one of the hardest hitting men on this planet, he got up, he pushed through it and he won the heavyweight title, showing heart and courage and that's the guy I wanna be. That's the kinda match I want with Lord Raab, so I am inviting you Raab, to bring everything you got, bring that beast because I'm gonna be like Anthony Joshua and show you just how much heart I've got."

Ben pauses as he stands up from the chair and turns around, his back to the city.

"I don't have the beast mode you have Raab." Ben admits "But I  have the fight and I have the heart. I am inspired by Joshua, I'm inspired to fight like a lion. Before, I admit, I wasn't sure I had it in me but that inspired me to be the best version of me I possibly can, it inspired me to push what I thought I could do and break through that wall."

Ben waves his finger towards the camera.

"This is gonna be a whole new version of me." Ben states firmly "A version of me that's unexpected cause Raab, I'm gonna fight like my life depends on it, I'm gonna fight like you would never have seen from me. All those videos of me you've seen, all that you've seen with me in training, rip it up and start again big man cause this Ben is bringing it and then some. No matter what you throw at me, and I know you'll be throwing at me more and more in this match because there's so much on the line, you will not rattle my cage, you will not put me down, you will not get through me."

A determined look crosses Ben's face, more so than seen lately.

"This is different, eh Raab?" Ben says confidently "Let's just say my fire's been lit and I plan on letting the bloody thing spread. I'm ready to let the thing go wild and I'm set to go. I won't let Sammi down and I won't be letting myself down and if you beat this guy Raab, you will have something extra to be proud of. You'll be proudly able to say you have not beat the Ben Jordan of the past, you have not beat the Ben Jordan you faced before."

Ben shakes his head.

"You, and I too will admit something." Ben starts firmly "We will both be able to say that Lord Raab has beat the best version of Ben Jordan there's been so far. I will freely admit it and wear the shirt with that printed on it if you get through me."

Ben pauses to breathe deeply.

"But you won't be beating me Raab." Ben firmly states "You won't be stopping me cause I'm determined to be walking in to Into The Void VI on my feet and being in the same position when the bell rings and hands get raised. I've come through legends and future legends to be here and I got one more future hall of famer to go through and that's you Raab. I think very highly of you, very highly, I have done what I can and don't need thanks. I know all I've done about focusing yourself in the ring, could bite me on the arse, but I'm confident Raab."

Ben smiles

"And I will be offering to shake your hand when it's all said and done." Ben says with a nod. "And I hope we can get past the fact that I'll crowd Blast From The Past V winner."

Ben takes a deep breath and looks at his watch.

"Well..." He starts "Looks like this geezer is out of time. Evie, Raab, I will see you both in the ring come Sunday, and for the record Eves, it was your turn to get the pizza in."

Ben grins.

"Until Sunday...." Ben starts "That's all folks."

Ben winks.

"Laters people." Ben says with a firm nod.

He clicks his fingers and the scene cuts to black.

Ben Jordan & Sam Marlowe Vs Lord Raab & Evie Baang

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “Here we go again.”

The footage slowly opens on the face that is Evie Baang who is staring down the barrel of the lens like she is looking down a barrel of a gun. Her eyes are cold, dead, but focused as the cameras pick up the over shadowing tone of green in her hazel jewels. She seems different this week even if she had just said four simple words, they seemed distant, cold and unforgiving. Her long black hair was sleek and shiny as it was straightened down the sides of her face, her usually sun kissed tanned skin was icy and pale as she just stared towards the audience who would be viewing this at home.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “This Sunday, it all boils down to it when Lord Raab and myself go toe to toe with two of our well closets ‘friends’ I use that term loosely because let’s be honest, what kind of friends would try and change the people they hang around? For months Ben Jordan has been playing Saint Jordan trying to change Raab to make him a better person and for weeks, he’s been trying to save me from myself. Here’s the thing, I don’t need saving, Superman… and the woman you should be protecting is that thorn in your side Sammi Fucking Marlowe.”

She simply rolls her head on her neck from side to side letting the tension in her neck slowly disappear. However, not once does her focus shift from the lens of the camera. Those at home were wondering what route Evie was going to play this they were wondering what track she would go down and living up to all expectations she wasn’t going to let the people down. They knew she would turn spiteful and bitter they just didn’t know how far she could go and only time would tell if this is just fighting words of if these were words of truth.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “Sammi, Sammi, Sammi… I wouldn’t call her a friend of mine, hell she’s not much of an acquaintance but we have hung out in large groups and at stupid gatherings. It was enough time for me to identify that we are two completely different humans, she’s that soft touch and sweet smile that boys line up for. While I’m that firm handed, resting bitch face that grown men crave for. She’s the sunlight and I’m the everlasting night. She’s the good, the pristine, hell some would even say she’s a saint… while I’m the evil, the stained the fucking sinner that this world needs to remind them that not everything is black and white. I’m the sinner that reminds you all that not all fairy tales have a happy ending and not all love stories are true. I’m the reminder that even sometimes you might wish for something but at the end of the day there is more of a chance that you’re going to go without than what you are at receiving it.”

Her white teeth were on display as she smirked towards the camera, as her plump red lips parted showing off her satisfaction of being the one that men crave, for being the one that is the constant reality check to all of those who are around her. So many thoughts were dancing around her mind, but she knew she would have to stay tight lipped and not give away all her ammo in the first round, however she knew that deep down she wanted to show the world why nice girls always finish last. Evie just kept her stone-cold expression on the lens of the camera before she rolled her tongue over her white teeth and continued.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “I get why you all love Sammi, I get why you all cheer for her, why you all rally behind her and why everyone she encounters just can’t get enough of her. She spreads hope but what you don’t understand and what you can’t comprehend is that hope is like cancer. At first you don’t know that you have it, you don’t see the signs but eventually it consumes you, like a compulsion, like a need, like a desire… hope seeps into your everyday life and while you think it brings you endless joy and the promise of something great, at the end of the day it’s just shutting you down, pieces by piece and exploiting you and exposing your weaknesses. You think it’s healthy to hope for happy ending like Sammi and yet as soon as the penny drops and something goes wrong, you become rattled, scared, defeated. You see you might desire for a ray of sunshine like Sammi in your life because she brings you feelings of hope, chance and promise but in reality, you all know that you fucking need the reality check that is Evie Fucking Baang.”

Evie smiled brightly but it wasn’t a happy smile it was a smile that had nothing but dangerous intent behind it, she knew this week she should have been treading every carefully not to upset her roommate Ben Jordan. She knew how protective he was over Sammi, but there was something inside her that wanted to see how far she could push him before he would snap. You see all this time, Ben thought he was saving Evie when in reality she didn’t want to be saved.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “So, Sunday night you’ll see reality against hope, the cure against cancer and if you were smart you should know by now that the darkness always consumes the light and the bad always out weights the good. The Evil will always reign supreme while the good only receives a glimmer of light to shine. This Sunday night at Into the Void Sammi isn’t going to get a chance to shine because I won’t allow it.”

That devilish smile was on her face once more as she looked down the lens of the camera, the thoughts of Sunday night running through her mind. She couldn’t wait to stand across the ring from her “friends” and see who was left standing once the dust settled. It’s not that she hated them, it’s just this was business and she knew that they would be playing the game just as hard as what she was and she wasn’t expecting them to take this opportunity lightly. However, there was something inside Evie that didn’t want to allow a perfect team like Ben and Sammi or Bemmi reign supreme, a team that overcame zero obstacles a team that was a match made in heaven simply shouldn’t be allowed to walk in with no troubles and walk out the victors. Especially, when she knew what Raab had gone through over these past few weeks. She was going to ty and win it for him. The camera slowly faded to darkness, on Evie’s smiling face however as soon as the footage stopped rolling she was like a ghost in the wind. She disappeared into the night.

Monday the 8th of May - New York, New York.

It had been a fun day and afternoon and that feeling was new to Evie. Never in her life did she think that she would be bowling with Lord Raab, now this week she was playing laser tag with the big friendly giant. She had to admit the work that Ben Jordan did with her tag team partner was outstanding but a part of her still wanted to make sure that the beast was still ready to come out and play and Sunday night. After the afternoons activity of Laser tag that Evie made sure she didn’t go overboard with, the thought of having a gun in her hand was too much of a high for her so she calmed the rush by reminding herself that it was only a game.

She also had the added pressure of not wanting Raab, Henry or Samuel seeing the side of her that only so few could to encounter, her kill instinct side that she would protect at all cost. As the afternoon was ending, the night was just beginning and soon the foursome found themselves tucked away in a far back corner of a Johnny Rocket’s restaurant. All four of them had a burger in front of them, with assorted drinks across the table. A large basket of fries was in the middle of the table or all of them to share. It had almost become a fortnightly ritual for these four to catch up and hang out, something that Evie had learned to enjoy. As they all sat in silence for a moment enjoying their food it wasn’t long before Evie broke the awkwardness with a conversation starter.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “So, are you boys ready for Sunday?”

She knew that this match on Sunday wasn’t just their final match together but it would be a tell-tale sign for Lord Raab and Samuel to know if they were ready to trust females and start a family. Evie could only hope that she had done her part, to help create something weird but beautiful for these two giant men who were sitting across from her. Henry was seated by her side, watching her and every move her made. Henry wasn’t completely sold on Evie, but that wasn’t because she wasn’t playing her role as best tag team partner ever it was because he knew deep down that she was hiding a world of hurt.

<FONT COLOR=#d00c1a> “I think we both have what it takes to win this, however, we shouldn’t take Ben or Sammi lightly.”

Evie nodded her head in agreement as Raab spoke towards her, as a smile danced onto her face. She was hoping Raab would bring up there match this weekend in New York because she had a very personal question to ask him. What better place to ask a monster what his intentions were than inside a packed family restaurant, with witnesses encase something went wrong.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “Speaking of our match, Raab, I need to know one thing.”

Her devilish smile was just bursting at its seems as she watched the German monster place his burger back down on his plate before he turned his attention back over towards her tag team partner. He knew by the look in her eye that this wasn’t going to be good, but he was going to give her the benefit of the doubt.

<FONT COLOR=#d00c1a> “You can ask me anything Evie.”

Another sly smile crosses her face as she sees the trust in Raab eyes as he looks down towards her.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “I need to know Raab, who are you going to be when you stand toe to toe with Ben Jordan on Sunday? Because the Raab I need, wait, that this team needs in the one that will push aside all the friendly thoughts and all the wonderful things that Ben has done for you… we need to make sure you see this for what it is. You want to win, I want to win and they only way we can win is if you leave your feelings at the bottom of the steel steps before you walk up and enter that ring.”

She was provoking him, seeing which side he was going to be on Sunday night. She knew he was still the monster but she knew that Ben had been in his ear long enough to tame a little of the beast. Evie just hoped there was still some monster left inside of him, once he got into the ring with Jordan on Sunday night. The last thing she needed was her tag team partner taking it lightly on the competition.  Raab looked at Henry before turning to Samuel before his attention fell back onto the young Aussie before him, he knew what she wanted to hear but he didn’t want to tell her a lie, so he made sure he processed the question correctly before he replied.

<FONT COLOR=#d00c1a> “Evie, I promised you at the start of all of this, I would be the man I needed to be inside that ring. This Sunday will be no different, you know what is at stake for me… so know this, I will do whatever I can in my power to make sure Ben doesn’t get the better of me. I do have to ask; will you be able to do the same?”

Evie was a little taken back from the comment of her tag team partner, however he had a valid point, all this time Evie was worried about what Raab would be like going against Ben Jordan she didn’t stop to think what it would be like staring across the ring towards a guy who she had let into her life. Not only that, they lived together and potentially were going to continue living together. So now three sets of eyes were burning on her as she internally ripped herself apart looking for the right, answer. Did she have the right answer? She wasn’t sure but the answer she was going to give would be the answer she was going to stick with. She had to, she had come too far in this tournament to let a friendship with her competition cloud her judgement and steal a moment she thought was entitled to.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “If you’re asking me, if I’m going to run in and save Ben Jordan from your grasp, you’re sadly mistaken. Push him to his limits, break him if you must… because mark my words, I will break Sammi and he will be forced to watch on, helpless, all the while trying to hide his true feelings for the girl. We might live together, but on Sunday night… he isn’t a friend, he isn’t an enemy… he’s a challenge and I don’t see it boiling down any other way. I’m happy for there to be blood spilt in the thing this week, just know it will be red, white, blue… not green nor gold.”

She was referring to their nations colours but the taken back look on Raab face said it all, he didn’t understand where this side of Evie was coming from. He knew that she could be cold and heartless but something just didn’t seem right and for some strange reason he knew it wasn’t his place to say anything but he was going to.

<FONT COLOR=#d00c1a> “You do know it’s just a match Sunday night Evie, we aren’t going to war?”

She had turned off her switch that made her feel anything for her opponents this week, she had it. It was the only way she was going to get any sort of sleep in between now and Sunday. Evie knew she had to be cold, she had to be ruthless and she had to deny what she felt for those who would be standing across from her this week. It’s not that she enjoyed it, it’s was just easier that way. Raab has posed a strange but very interesting question well statement to her and now she was trapped inside two minds.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “Every day we go to war Raab, there isn’t a single second we aren’t fighting for survival it’s called life and sometimes life can be complex.”

Raab was trying his best to follow on with what Evie was saying but it turns out he wasn’t the only one trying to connect the dots that Evie was laying down. She was confusing at the best of times, but that was just how she was. It wasn’t very long, before Raab spoke up once more making his opinions known.

<FONT COLOR=#d00c1a> “I know we can win this, I know we have what it takes, but I don’t think the win is worth losing your friends over it.”

He had a point, he had a strong point but Evie wasn’t going to let him know that. She just reached out and grabbed onto her glass of Pepsi before she brought the straw up to her deep blood like lips. Evie who was known for quick wit and sharp and rude remarks for once was biting her tongue. She didn’t want to upset Raab, but the truth is he was right but just right now she couldn’t let him have that over her. Ignoring his statement, she just turned her attention back to her food, leaving Raab to think he had said something wrong. It wasn’t until Henry looked at him and shook his head, did Raab understand that he wasn’t in the wrong and this was all on Evie. Raab just silently nodded as he returned to his meal, while keeping a watchful eye over his young Aussie tag team partner. He knew he wasn’t the best at understand people, but she was truly in a next level case.

The night continued with all four sharing stories and talking to one another as if this awkward conversation never happened all the while Evie was trying to wrap her mind around what she was going to do next. Would she take Lord Raab’s advice, or would she charge into the super card with no remorse and no regard for her acquaintances that would be standing across the ring from her. It wasn’t often that Evie has an internal battle raging inside of her and the only three people she could even talk to about this were well out of her life. It was becoming all to obvious that this was a decision she was going to have to make for herself and the chances that she was going to get it wrong, oh so very wrong were extremely high. This is why Evie didn’t have friends, so she could save herself from tight spots like this. Go out at Into the Void, guns a blazing and risk losing your roommate, or go out with the intent of being friendly and risk the fact of losing everything you have worked on for the past few weeks.

The thing is, everyone was proud of the leaps and bounds that Lord Raab had made in this competition that they had over looked the changes that Evie had made to herself. Even if they were ever so slight, they were still small enough to cause a crack in her normally iron strong armour.

Thursday the 11th of May – New York, New York.

All it took was a couple days away from the world for Evie to realise what she needed to do on Sunday night, however there was other urgent issues she had to deal with. Two weeks ago, she gave a man an ultimatum bring back her friend in forty-eight hours or else. Let’s just say that forty-eight hours had passed and the safe return of Calista was still nowhere to be seen. So, now matters would have to be taken into her hands that she wasn’t going to be proud of. After taking leaps with her past and trying to turn away from the life she once lived her she was again, staring down the barrel of a gun watching all the great life choices she had made lately look empty and worthless.

Evie wasn’t staring down a gun, she was seated on a cold metal chair looking up at a man being hung from the ceiling by his feet. His ankles were wrapped up with rope as she was heaved up to the ceiling while his body was dangling. His head was placed inside a deep laundry style tub that was slowly being filled with water. Meanwhile as the tub was slowly filling up, the man knew he had a few more minutes of life left before his nostrils would be filled with water, followed by his mouth and finally his lungs ultimately killing him.  While he was swinging from the ceiling his focus was on Evie who sat back into the steel chair, with a magazine in her hands.

<FONT COLOR=#368BC1> “ARE YOU SERIOUSLY GOING TO READ A FUCKING MAGAZINE, WHILE I DROWN IN FRONT OF YOU?”

The man was angry I mean, you couldn’t blame him. Evie just looked up from the pages of the glossy editorial and looked towards the man in front of her. He looked familiar, because it was Nikoli, she had given him a timeframe he didn’t deliver and for weeks he had managed to avoid her but not today. Today he was like a rat in a trap and there wasn’t a damn thing he could do about it.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “Dear Nikoli, I asked you for a simple favour, something you couldn’t return. So, the real question here is are you simply going to allow yourself to drown to protect your pathetic little family?”

Her voice was cold yet had a harsh undertone of simply not a single care in this world. The only thing she wanted was her Calista back but the past was too busy trying to play games with her. As Nikoli swung back and forth in front of her trying to fight his way out of this predicament Evie just watched on amused. The water in the tub was now lapping at the crown of his head and soon it would cover his forehead before filling up to his eyes.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “So, I’ll ask you again Nikoli while you can still hear me… where is Calista?”

She was silly to think he would tell her but she had no other option, she was going to press him for information one way or another.

<FONT COLOR=#368BC1> “You know, they will kill me if I told you. You know I can’t tell you… because I don’t know.”

Evie rocked forward in the chair, now resting her elbows on the tops of her knees as she looked at Nikoli with intrigue in her eyes.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “You know what I find interesting, is that you still think them killing you, is worth more than what is about to happen to you. I mean what a riddle you seem to be in, death by the lineage or death by drowning? I mean, if I was you I wouldn’t be focusing on what the family is going to do to you, you should be focusing on the fact that within two minutes your lungs are going to start filling up with water, while your body begs you to gasp for air and you aid in this whole watery situation you have found yourself in. Now tell me again, where is Calista?”

Evie got up from her seated position to take a seat on the rim of the tub, so she could look down at Nikoli while he looked up at her with confusion in his eyes. He couldn’t understand why or how she went rouge on the family and why she would bring this all on herself, her home was destroyed, and her best friend was missing because of her decision to leave the lineage. However, now she was hell bent on killing the ten people that broke her out of jail and saved her. It was funny how life worked, it was also funny how short life really was when you were about to witness it all come down to a horrible end. Evie reached across and wrapped her fingers around the tap and tapped her long-manicured nails over the cold metal, reminding Nikoli that he was in control of his own faith.

<FONT COLOR=#368BC1> “I can’t, I don’t know… believe me Evie I don’t know where she is.”

Evie gave him that pondering look on her face, the one he knew all too well.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “Well I guess if you truly know nothing, what good to me are you alive?”

Her fingers locked around the tap and she just simply increased the pressure on the ring letting the freezing water pour into the tub faster.

<FONT COLOR=#368BC1> “You don’t have to do this Evie, I could help you get her back.”

She didn’t say a single word, because she knew he was just begging for his freedom. Looking down at him she watched the water come up to his eyes before it started to make a mad rush towards his nose. Slipping off the side of the tub, Evie’s heels clicked on the hard cement flooring and without a single care in the world she made her way towards the exit of this run down shabby building. She could hear splashing in the water behind her and without a single thought of compassion or a moment of humility Evie just pulled a cigarette out of her black jacket pocket, followed by a lighter and within a matter of seconds she was now drawing back on her release.

Did she just leave Nikoli to die, after all the life changes she had made lately? Did she just go back to her old ways? The fact that Nikoli could stand by the lineage and forget about his true family was enough to make Evie sick. The fact he would choose to drown over the chance to live and see his wife and children once more pushed her to her limits. Only time would tell if she left him there to drown, or if she just simply sent a message to Nikoli that she was done fucking around. Evie needed Calista back in her life and she needed her now.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “What a dilemma, I’m in this Sunday night at Into the Void. Do I go in with the full intent of winning only to lose two people who have come into my life and somewhat made it better? Or do I walk into… Into the Void and play it safe, keep my cool, stay calm and leave without the win but know that deep down that I’ll be better for it because I didn’t ruin one of the oddest friendships Sin City Wrestling has ever seen. What a pickle I appear to be in, but what an opportunity waits for Lord Raab and I, if we are able to obtain the victory in New York.”

The darkened screen lights up to just the footage of Evie’s face once more, this becoming a staple in her promotionals lately as if she is documenting her time in the competition. Her eyes are cold, dead but are focused on the screen in front of her as she knows she has a job to do this weekend no matter how she feels about it.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “New York, New York the big city of dreams. The City where even the wildest dreams can come true, would it be selfish of me to wish for victory and to wish that I don’t break whatever this friendship is between Ben and myself? Don’t read into that, we aren’t pumping or humping. He couldn’t handle me and I can’t stand the smell of fosters that always seems to linger in the air when he is around. If I didn’t know any better, I would say the boy has a little bit of an addiction, that he should probably curb before he ends up in a crazy one night stand with a beast and not a beauty.”

A small smirk, that seems a lot softer than what she is used to sharing spreads across her face but the Aussie doesn’t waste too much time on this as she continues.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “I wish this was all fun and not war but I simply remove what has been engrained into me ever since I was a little girl. Kill or be killed, win of be beaten and well I don’t like the taste of defeat so victory is what I’m going to be aiming for. So, please Ben don’t take this the wrong way, when you see my hand being raised at the end of our match, I mean it’s not like it will be the first time you have suffered defeat from these hands. Darts, bowling, beer pong, you name it, we have played it and I have always made you lose. Even when you insist you’re taking it easy on me, know this… I call bullshit. You and I are both every competitive people so to fact that you would willingly lose to be the nice guy, is joke. Don’t play that card, because trust me no one will believe it. I’ll see you Sunday night across from me in that ring and may the dust settle where it settles, but don’t get used to it because when we get back home… the house work will be on you.”

Evie just shows her bright white teeth as she parts her deep red lips and smirks, she was going lightly on her competition this week at Into the Void. Surprising the viewers at home.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “Now, I guess I should focus on the lady I actually have to face at Into the Void that being Sammi Marlowe. Now what can I say about the angel of Sin City Wrestling that she probably hasn’t already heard? Let’s be honest a lot of her competition panders to her and holds her up in a bright light the kid has probably never really had a wakeup call. So here it is, you might have been crowned Sin City Wrestling World Bombshell champion before, you might be known for taking out opponents that others simply cannot, you might have the track record for winning big matches when they matter, but read these lips… I will not let you pin these shoulders to the canvas on Sunday night. You will not advance to the promise land because you were able to defeat me. I will not and refuse to allow it. It’s not that I don’t want to see you rise up against and get your confidence back that Christian Underwood stole from you. It’s just I made a promise to Lord Raab and do you think for a single second, whatever matters to you, will outweigh what matters to him?”

And all the niceness was removed from her face as Evie turned back into her stone cold criminal state, forgetting to be nice she Aussie was just going for it and hoping it would stick.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “I know you will be fighting with everything you have to keep Ben around, because let’s face it, you always seem happier when he is beside you but I cannot and will not let Raab down. Trust me I don’t say this about a lot of guys, but letting Raab down would be the death of me. While you disappointing Ben, wouldn’t be a far stretch from what you already do weekly, nightly, fortnightly, biweekly, every second Friday… whatever sneaky fucking system you two are pulling to stay out of the spotlight.”

Evie dragged her right hand through her long black hair that just shimmered from the lighting before she moved on not dwelling too much on what she was saying.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “However, let’s keep this professional shall we, I mean it’s not like little Miss Sammi is going to take any personal shots to try and get under my skin, right? I mean she isn’t like the most judging bombshell we have on the roster, she just seems to get away with it and people call it jokes because she batts those eyelids at us all and we are meant to fall for the good girl act. Trust me, I can see it and I can see right through it and it’s about time the rest of the world wakes up to it. The sweet and innocent Sammi Marlowe, isn’t far from a fraud because the moment she is pinned up against someone, she goes for the throat, she takes personal fucking jabs and everyone just sits there and goes… oh poor Sammi, poor, poor Sammi… well you’re right it will be poor Sammi this Sunday night when she finally steps foot inside a ring with me. Now, I bet she’ll say something about I have underlying feelings for Ben and I really wish he would fuck me. I mean she’s not wrong on stage two of that process… but she’ll say that I’ll be distracted from the match because I’ll be clouded and mislead by what is going on in my life. What she needs to understand is that, sure… I’ve pictured Jordan in the raw, behind me bent over a table I mean a girl can dream am I right Jamie Dean? But when it comes to wrestling. I block everything out. I block everyone out and I only focus on what matters.”

That glimmer of life returned to her eyes as the green was really blazing in her hazel orbs. She had been distance this time round but finally she was finding some life.

<FONT COLOR=#E56717> “And, what matters this week, is helping Raab to victory. So, if you think I’m going to be distracted, if you think I’m going to go soft on you to protect you, because I’ll be concerned of what Ben will think of me? Think fucking again. This weekend you’re the victim, the take down, the prey and I’m the fucking reality check your career and your la-de-da fucking personality needs. I’m the archer, the hunter, the predator and you’re going to learn that first hand in New York at Into the Void. I’ll see you Sunday and Lord Raab, I promised you my best. So, the best is what you’ll get.”

Without another word spoken the footage faded on her face leaving the audience to wonder what on earth is going on inside the mind of Evie Luna Baang.

The Raab brothers handling a baby. Anaheim, California. Friday 5th May.

It had been a very long few days since Konrad and Markus met up as instead of taking part to be in a mixed tag match in another company he was apart of, Markus decided to put his family member first with helping Konrad getting ready for the hardcore match he's having against Regan Street tomorrow night. It was an important match for Konrad as it was to get rid of his fears of his anger and violence, needing to exploit them in the match.

But that's for tomorrow as they've already talked a lot about that, but what they've not talked about is Markus's final chance to capture the dream of being ready to be with a woman, although he did have sex with Konrad's stalker, but he did it to prevent his brother from being hurt and that he wanted to knock a woman up who even had Markus's number.

But it was time for more lessons of Markus handling Jasmin who was 5 months old and Konrad sees the progress he's made with handling her as Markus sees other kids around him who were running rings around him as he chuckles a little bit.

Markus Lord Raab: “These kids are very energetic, aren't they?”

Konrad Raab: “Yeah they are very much so that. It's why I have to take them to the park nearly every single day since Fizz is doing her MMA fight tonight.”

Markus Lord Raab: “I can tell. These kids seem to get along.”

Konrad Raab: “Not always with Roderick and Mattheus as they do have fights time again, but that's because they want to be the best at being ice hockey player and a motocross rider. That's what I love about my sons.”

Markus nods as he does see Konrad being a totally different guy when he spends quality time with the kids and it's the first time in Markus's life he's seen what being a father really is like. He loves the whole idea of being a father, especially when Roderick and Mattheus gave Konrad a hug and a kiss, although they nearly hugged their uncle by mistake.

Roderick Raab: “You look like daddy.”

Markus Lord Raab: “That's because we are twins. You're daddy is my twin brother.”

Mattheus Raab: “People mix you two up?”

Konrad Raab: “Sometimes yes, but your uncle here usually wears a red and black or a green mask to not mix the pair of us up. Go off and play as daddy's got to teach uncle Markus a few things.”

Both boys nodded as they decide to play on the PS4, while Konrad trusts Markus enough to hold Jasmin as he takes her upstairs to change the nappy as he tries to learn everything he's done so far, especially when he could be a father himself after the tournament is over since he slept with Konrad's stalker to protect Konrad.

But at the same time, Markus has no remorse for sleeping with Konrad's stalker which was now Markus's as he knows it's one step closer on being a dad and he hadn't even finished his parenting courses yet and he does however bring up one thing that Fizz said to him a couple of weeks ago.

Markus Lord Raab: “Fizz mentioned about Jasmin getting milk from her breasts. Was she right?”

Konrad Raab: “She is. It may not have popped up in the parenting classes, but you have a choice of a mother breast feeding their child or they put milk in a bottle. The nipples part of a woman's breast is used for a baby to suck the milk out and that the nipples produces milk after the baby is born. Jasmin has both because when Fizz isn't here, she has to be fed milk from a bottle as you know, that's all they can drink. ”

Markus Lord Raab: “Up until a certain age, right?”

Konrad Raab: “Yes after they've done an oil test as they then can eat food we normally eat.”

Markus nodded at everything his brother said as he focuses on changing Jasmin's nappy as he was growing up fast and he had to, most importantly, he knew he had to tell Samuel what he did while he was in California, but he's got a match on Sunday to do the mixed tag match that he felt was best for Samuel to get back into action since it's five months on since he last fought.

He finished changing Jasmin's nappy without any prompts or help from Konrad as he claps, applauding him for doing a great job, but Markus knew what he wants to practice more on as he says this.

Markus Lord Raab: “Can I feed Jasmin with milk?”

Konrad Raab: “Of course you can as after all, you could be a dad as we speak and you do need to practice feeding her with milk.”

Konrad was more than happy to allow his brother to practice everything in the world with his baby as he knew it was very important right now to get him prepared. He knew he wanted to thank him after Wednesday night to protect him as he never got the chance to do that, nor had they even talked about Markus's upcoming tournament match either as they went downstairs to the living room where the room was very quiet with the daughters and their son doing some colouring and his eldest sons were playing video games.

Markus sits on the sofa as he tries to remember how to hold the baby properly as Konrad goes to the kitchen and places some milk that's suitable for babies in a bottle and places the cap on it before he brings it in and gives Markus the bottle and slowly places it in Jasmin's mouth and he ajusts his arm a bit and Konrad speaks.

Konrad Raab: “I can't thank you enough Markus for protecting me on Wednesday night.”

Markus Lord Raab: “Please brother, you know I would do anything for you. That woman was the real cause of you to get so tense. I had to do something while I had the chance to knock her up with a baby, right?”

Konrad Raab: “That you did, but I still wanted to thank you for that and all the training you've done with me.”

Markus nods as Jasmin had to breath for a little bit from drinking lots of milk and places it back in her mouth and Konrad speaks again.

Konrad Raab: “So this tournament, you're in the finals?”

Markus Lord Raab: “Yeah man, next Sunday I'm facing against our friend Ben Jordan. Of course Sam Marlow is in the ring too, but that's more Evie's job to handle. The match means a lot more now than before.”

Konrad Raab: “I thought you didn't care about winning the SCW World title shot?”

Markus Lord Raab: “Nothing to do with that, but Ben's been beating me the last few times we've faced against each other and to tell you the truth, it's pissing me off I can't beat him. It's driving me insane.”

Markus clearly nearly swore there, but he stopped himself just in time when he remembers the kids were around him and that he had to learn not to swear too much around his kid if anything happens if Markus successfully knocked a woman up.

Konrad Raab: “At least you didn't swear in front of them, but I know what you mean. It drives me with motivation when I lost to Mongoose a few weeks ago. I'm using the loss as motivation and so should you with each time you've lost to Ben. After all, Samuel's beaten him, hasn't he?”

Markus Lord Raab: “Yes shit, I forgot he did. Damn, I can see him giving me a few tips already about how to beat him. That's crazy.”

Markus paused for a minute as he has taken a few breaks from Jasmin drinking milk, but she was drinking it as Markus stroked his niece and giving her a soft kiss which made Konrad smile to see how much he loved being an uncle and helping Konrad out with his daughter.

Markus Lord Raab: “I never thought of losses that way and I guess it's that part of me never beating him that drives me mad. I want to beat Ben to kill that curse of not being able to beat him. It's hard for me not to swear here.”

Konrad Raab: “I know exactly how you feel. I feel the same myself the last few weeks, but I just think about the kids and Jasmin, not wanting to hear me say bad words in front of them at least. I don't even argue in front of them.”

Markus Lord Raab: “Wow really? That's amazing. Most parents argue in front of their kids, but seems like you and Fizz refuse to allow your kids get upset.”

Konrad Raab: “That's right and I think you and Samuel should do the same. If you have to argue, take the argument away from the kid and do it in a private area which shouldn't be a problem in your headquarters.”

It was clear Jasmin had finished drinking her milk as Konrad took the bottle away and places it in the kitchen as Konrad goes around to check how the kids were doing and seemed like they were fine so far as Konrad felt Markus holding Jasmin for a bit longer gives him the chance to bond with his niece.

Suddenly, Jasmin fell asleep on Markus as he obviously needed Konrad to help him as he says this.

Markus Lord Raab: “How do you put Jasmin to her cot when she's asleep?”

Konrad Raab: “Don't worry, I'll deal with it, but if it happens, just place her right in her cot.”

Markus got the message as he follows Konrad up the stairs to see how he places Jasmin in her cot as he does lower down the cot to place her inside very carefully and slowly as he lifts the cot bars up and they step out the room very quietly like they were on their tip toes as Markus knew Konrad had to do his video tonight as he speaks.

Markus Lord Raab: “Well, I'm going off to sleep for the night because you need to do your video for the match tonight.”

Konrad Raab: “I haven't forgotten. Hey, I think before you go to sleep, I would like for you to read my eldest sons a bedtime story tonight. That's the easiest way to get them to sleep, along with them being able to read better in class, but first, I must do Roderick's insulin injections.”

Markus nodded as he never read a bedtime story before, but he put his thumbs up as Konrad tells his kids to put their pyjamas on, while Konrad deals with Roderick insulin injection before he deals with the triplets to read them a bedtime story as Markus goes up to do the same with the eldest sons and he does and then hugs them and kisses them before he leaves the bedroom to go into his own guest room to sleep at Konrad's house for the night before going to San Jose for Konrad's match against Regan Street tomorrow night.

Laser tag day with Evie Baang. New York City. Monday 8th May.

Another day to get the chance to get used to Evie before they start to train together in the hired wrestling school Henry hired out on Thursday as although he's only just arrived from California after spending time with his brother and being with him in hospital for two nights, he certainly needed to have some fun so he met up with Evie at Times Square tube station as she meets with Markus and they stand still for a little bit until the impatience got the best out of her.

Evie Baang: “Well, what are we going to do today?”

Lord Raab: “We're gonna play Laser tag. I need something fun to do after spending two nights in hospital.”

Evie Baang: “You in a hospital? Yeah right.”

Lord Raab: “Not cos of me, cos my brother suffered with quite bad injuries on Saturday night during his hardcore match with Regan Street and I had to take him to hospital and stay with him for two nights.”

Evie Baang: “Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Is he going to be OK?”

Lord Raab: “Yeah, he's a tough lad believe it or not and will be discharged tomorrow. Anyway lets go and have lots of fun.”

Evie nodded as she hadn't seen Lord Raab at all last week, but it was clear he wanted to help his brother prepare for a match and it was an emergency so they walk around the city and found a Laser tag place located in the city centre as they go in and pay to have time for an hour in the laser tag game as they were put on some vests and were shown where the guns were before they knew what the rules were and they go into the maze before the owners closed the doors on them and wait for the bell to be ring as their vests make beeping noises for their vests to be turned on.

Of course, there's music playing during the time they were in the maze and suddenly from behind, Evie got the first point of getting Markus on his shoulder as he rans away. It took him a while to realise he had to be quite quiet when it was pretty hard to see around the area and it took Raab a couple of hits to get Evie on her back as she targets him back with a stomach shot when she turned around as Raab went to chase after her and got her right shoulder from behind. They were laughing and giggling from the competitive streak they had in them which makes them perfect for being suited as a team.

In a way, Evie was letting Raab win after the last time of beating Raab at bowling, but they were having a lot of fun, even if there was anger towards each other because of the will of wanting to win, but Evie was caught nearly every single part of her vest except for her stomach area, but Evie got a couple of shots on Raab's right shoulder and on his back as each time they got each other, the vests beeped.

The hour they have was up as there's the bell for them to stop as the guy who runs the laser tag place opens the door as they leave with them losing that adrenaline they had in the laser tag maze area and even the guys heard them be angry and even had to ask them about it.

Derrick: “Why were you both angry? You know it was a game?”

Evie Baang: “I didn't expect your idiotic ass to understand me and Markus are like this as a team in wrestling so that's why we were angry.”

Markus Lord Raab: “Who the fuck are you to judge us like that? We are competitive people so of course we get angry, otherwise we wouldn't be in the finals of Blast From The Past tournament so don't judge us on shit ever again.”

Derrick steps back at bit as he got kinda intimated by both Evie and Markus hurling abuse on the guy who ran the place as they took their vests off and give them to Ricky and got print outs from the game they played as it shows Markus having the most points as he nods with Evie not far behind from Markus

Markus Lord Raab: “Well at least I'm good at something.”

Evie Baang: “Well you are, you're an fucking awesome wrestler.”

Markus Lord Raab: “I meant outside of the ring. It's pretty special to get print outs.”

Evie Baang: “None as special as you destroying the competition and us getting along better, even you talking a lot more as well. Come on, lets get you something to eat.”

He couldn't disagree with Evie as he hadn't eaten much if anything at all since Saturday before Konrad wrestled as he was just more concerned for his brother than himself after the hell he went through with Regan Street, but he did drink water a lot as while they were walking, Markus had a look on the scars she suffered and he tries to talk to her about them.

Markus Lord Raab: “I want to know more about what happened with your past on those scars you got. You know about my pas.............”

Evie Baang: “For fuck sake no, I'm not telling you shit, well not out here anyway.”

Markus Lord Raab: “I won't tell anybody, I promise you that.”

Evie Baang: “I know you won't, but I don't want to talk about it. I guess you aren't gonna stop asking me, are you?”

Markus shook his head as he needed Evie to trust him, otherwise he'd go back his old ways on how he was gonna feel hurt again, but he knew he had to tell her about his rape incident he had along with his brother in the past.

Markus Lord Raab: “Sorry I wanted to get to know you.”

Evie Baang: “Well you shouldn't be because I'm tougher than I look, get used to it.”

Markus had a little change in reaction like why was he pressuring Evie so much to tell her about his past, mind you, Raab was hiding something from her too that he already could become a father after the tournament was over after he had sex with Konrad's stalker and tomorrow, he had to talk to Samuel about it as they went in a burger place with Henry and Samuel standing outside for them as they go into the restaurant together.

----------------------------------------------------------

Telling Samuel the news. New York City. Tuesday 9th May.

Next day has come and he was laying in bed with Samuel in their hired apartment early in the morning as Samuel had gotten a little concerned of his husband lately, especially he hadn't spoken to Samuel much. OK, they hadn't had any time together since Konrad got injured in his match on Saturday, but he knew the result of the mixed tag match Samuel was in and he lost, but it didn't affect Samuel that much.

Because it was a screw job from the management in that company. Of course, they just think it was a fair loss and won't say that in public since the company had a lot of cowardly wrestlers there, but he kisses Samuel on his cheek and he speaks.

Lord Raab: “I know you've been concerned about me, but really, I'm fine.”

Samuel didn't think so, but he thinks Lord Raab has something to hide with how he's only speaking with a few amount of words and he asks Raab a question by writing down as he responds.

Lord Raab: “No, I'm not ill at all, but however I do need to talk to you about something really big, something I literally had to do while I was in California.”

He knew he did the right thing, even if he thought he was at a point of raping her, but what if he didn't spot the stalker and allowed Konrad to get hurt when he was married to Fizz, even losing her? He'd be a shitty brother to Konrad if he allowed for one second of the woman grabbing him, although he knew at the same time, Samuel might be upset.

Lord Raab: “Samuel, you have to promise me this that you won't break up with me after I've told you. You won't, will you?”

Samuel McPherson: Naarrp.”

Lord Raab: “Good because while I was in California, I did something to this girl because I was protecting my brother. She was stalking and freaking him out really bad so I caught her after she tried to run from me and I did take off my mask and it was like she barely knew the difference between me and Konrad.”

Of course, it made a little sense as to where Lord Raab's going with this story he had to tell Samuel because he had every right to know what he did and he speaks.

Lord Raab: “After Konrad told me how to do this particular thing, I dragged this girl to my hotel room and locked ourselves in and we kinda played with each other's bodies to get use to one another and then she played with my dick and I played with her pussy until I lead my dick inside of her and then boom, I cummed in her.”

Samuel didn't really understand what Markus was saying as the only sex he knew was how he does it with men and he speaks to explain a lot more to get Samuel to understand.

Lord Raab: “Basically what I'm saying is I fucked a girl up there, but I wasn't doing it just to protect Konrad, I was doing it for us. We could be having a baby after the tournament. We've exchanged each other's numbers and she'll be seeing us in Las Vegas when we get back as I told her about the whole thing of us wanting a baby. She did asked why I slept with her if I got you and I said cos me and Samuel want a baby.”

Of course Samuel wanted to write something, but Raab stops him and he speaks.

Lord Raab: “She was really understanding more than I thought. She told me she fancied Konrad and that she was his big supporter, but I told her it's not the way to get his attention as he got freaked out, especially you know he's married, but while I am, I want a baby cos me and Samuel love each other and there's no other way of having kids other than what I did.”

Samuel gave Markus a huge hug, knowing he could potentially be a dad right about now and although it was nearly a week ago he fucked this girl who was now potentially carrying Markus's and Samuel's baby and he showed a picture of her on his phone and he wrote something down to Markus and speaks.

Lord Raab: “Of course, this was why I was nervous to say this to you because we need to step our asses up a lot more, being more independent and get that spare room ready as she will be with us for a little bit until the baby is nearly one years old for her to leave cos she will. She wants us to have the baby if she's pregnant.”

Samuel McPherson: “Yaarrp.”

Samuel wrote down he wasn't going to leave Raab and for the first time since they got together, Samuel wrote three very special words to Raab as he says this in response to him.

Lord Raab: “I love you too. I do fancy making love to you before we'll train for my match against Ben Jordan, what do you think?”

Samuel gladly had no problems with that as he knew exactly the situation now with why Raab was so quiet and it lead towards them loving each other even more for Markus to do what he did was not only protecting Konrad from being raped and hurt, but for them to experience to have kids. Markus hoped he'd done enough to knock a girl up, but it's far too early to tell what would happen as it takes four weeks to actually find out.

After they've done what they needed to do, they put on some clothes and their masks before they leave the apartment to go down to the wrestling school Henry hired out for Raab to do his training along with the mini gym they had at the wrestling school as well as it was something Henry knew Raab couldn't live without while he was away from home, more so he had to do training with Evie on Friday.

----------------------------------------------------------

Talking about Ben and Sam Marlowe. New York City. Friday 12th May.

He wasn't going to tell Evie about what he did last week mainly because after the tournament, they'll have nothing to do with each other, although it was clear Raab was hiding something, but Evie was too and she was hurting about it as they unleashed all of their aggression in the ring against practice wrestlers who came and done some training with both of them, although it was only four wrestlers.

Still it was good for both of them to get that experience of training with people they've never faced or even interacted with before as they leave after training with Evie and Raab as both of them go into the ring and take a seat as he remembered what Evie said on that Monday during dinner about what she said and even Markus thought of what he was going to say over the last few days and he speaks.

Markus Lord Raab: “This tournament has now turned from me not giving a shit about winning to giving a whole load of shits of doing so.”

Evie Baang: “It took you this long to find out you want to win a title shot?”

Markus Lord Raab: “No, not winning a fucking title shot for myself, but giving a shit about winning against Ben Jordan. It's a much bigger game now because he's beaten me every time we've had tag matches and it's fucking pissed me off.”

Evie Baang: “So that's why you was so aggressive?”

Markus Lord Raab: “Exactly, beating Ben Jordan is a fucking must now, more than ever as I want the chance to give Ben no sign of weakness and beat the living fuck out of him. Of course I don't want to lose Ben as a friend as we discussed in the restaurant, but I really want to be the one to pin him because I'm sick of losing to him.”

Of course, Evie knows about the history Ben and Raab have had over the past year of taking each other through hell and this was before his father died as well, but he had to change because of that taking a massive affect on Lord Raab as he had to admit that truth to her.

Lord Raab: “I had to change Evie for another reason. My father died of lung cancer back in October and it hurt me really hard. It was even hard for me and my brother to get along, but we did cos my dad wrote us letters and for me it was to help my family a lot more and I've done that with Konrad.”

Evie Baang: “I understand, but it does sound like you want to beat him quite a bit.”

Lord Raab: “Quite a bit is an overstatement. I want to beat him a lot more than I've ever done before. He's one of the few guys on this roster who's beaten me clean. He's not gonna have an easy fight when this monster goes crazy on his ass because I will and nothing's gonna stop me. He's not as big as me, but he's a crafty fucker.”

It was really bad that Raab knew Samuel had beaten him in a match before and it drove him mad even more like winning the tournament to be ready on being a dad which he very well could after the tournament, trusting women and also another goal of beating Ben Jordan would put his loss misery out of his mind.

Evie Baang: “Well I'm honestly getting sick of Sam to be honest. She's always around Ben, like not leaving him alone or giving him some space. She might have been champion before I've got the chance to do so, but I need the SCW bombshells title shot a lot more than she does.

Lord Raab “While being a father means more than anything, including the SCW World title. The SCW title is gonna be for Samuel to have. I've been there, done that as SCW World champion, don't want to do it again and I only got the shot against overrated J2H because of the undefeated streak he had. I never gave a damn about the title then, I don't care about it now.”

Evie Baang: “Fair enough, but Sam has only gotten this far because of Ben, well same could be said for me with you, but nobody expected us to get this far in the tournament.”

Lord Raab: “You think I did? It was the last thing on my mind and I never thought I'd be in the tournament again after what happened with Gothika last year. She was such an awful tag partner that I went crazy on her ass cos she cost me the fucking tournament. That was another reason why I lost myself a little bit in the beginning from fearing it would happen again.”

Evie Baang: “But I didn't, did I? Forget last year, Gothika was a complete disgrace to you last year, but I'm miles ahead better than her and you aren't doing all the work. We're doing it equally and we will do the same once again when you'll be the one to pin Ben Jordan on Sunday.”

Raab nodded as that's exactly what he wanted to do with Ben as losing to him every time got him angry, but he also remembered what Konrad said to him last Friday and it was something else that's been on his mind the entire time he's been in New York City and being reminded about it on Sunday.

Lord Raab: “But I learned from Konrad that losing is giving me motivation to win. I didn't exactly knew what he meant by that when he told me last Friday, but he's right, you learn a lot from losing and it motivates you to crave to win a lot more and that's exactly how I'm approaching this match on beating the fuck out of Ben to a point he's not gonna be fucking standing.”

Evie Baang: “I don't know much about your brother, but when it comes to him saying that, he's smart. I haven't faced Sam before, but I'm still gonna kick the shit out of her because I need the bombshells title to prove to the world I'm better than the rest of these stank's who plaster all over this roster, but they can show their body bits all they want, doesn't mean they are better than me cos they are farthest thing from that.”

Lord Raab: “Damn right you are, while I'm gonna knock the monkey off my back and win just as Samuel did and if I win the title shot, it will be for Samuel, not for me. This tournament was for me to trust women and dreaming to being a dad or me and Samuel are dreaming to be fathers I should say rather, but the point is we'll get the job done and nobody's gonna stop us from winning this damn tournament and you'll and Samuel will be title contenders and become champions of the world.”

There wasn't anything else left to say as they leave the wrestling school and went their separate ways as of course, Raab was never allowed to be in hotels after attacking people and causing problems a few years ago so he always stays in hired apartments with Samuel. He goes back to his apartment and once again, gets the pleasure from Samuel before they went off to sleep twenty minutes later.

----------------------------------------------------------

Revenge and motivation to beat Ben Jordan once and for all is bitter sweet ustream.com shoot.

“It's been a while since I last faced Ben Jordan, well not really as we've faced at the last one in a battle royal, but that's in tag team competition and I can see how well you and Sam have jelled as a team and you both do really good team work. I generally mean that. So me and Evie managed to overcome the odds of being in the finals of you both and honestly, this final is the fitting point of our friendship.

But as much as I respect Ben Jordan as a person outside of the ring, considering the amount of help he's given to me, it's hard for me to overlook Ben because I've not been able to beat him and that honestly pisses me the fuck off. You made this match more than just me winning the tournament to go out and be a father and having achieved my goal of trusting women, but my goal is to destroy you motherfucker cos I'm sick and tired of losing every time we've faced each other.

It drives me insane and of course losing is not a bad thing to have, but I'm just more motivated to beat you than ever before which my brother is right in saying a loss makes a wrestler stronger and learning from losses because although they've been in tag matches, I still lost and I fucking hate losing.

I hate losing so bad that I just want to beat the living shit out of you just because of that and I'm sorry to be brutal, but I want to show you just how much I want to win the tournament and Evie sure does as well, but of course I'm winning the match for Samuel when it comes to the title shot situation, especially I wouldn't be able to take the SCW World title match anyway cos of being the Internet champion.

But you are bloody dedicated to SCW, especially being dedicated to your partner Jamie Dean and Sam Marlowe. Of course the only thing you have going against you is you're too bloody nice for this business. It's the same problem Konrad has as well that both of you have that in common and I've been toughening Konrad up these past few weeks, training his ass for him to not be afraid of using anger and weapons all the time and he achieved that last Saturday that's gone.

Ben, you need to be more fucking aggressive and anger if you want to succeed because being a goody too shoes guy just gets you nowhere and Konrad's starting to learn that. I think you need to work a little more on being selfish, being about yourself as a way of achieving success. That's why I've been very hard on you over the last year we've fought and I'm doing something about not losing to you any more.

I need to beat you Ben more than ever and I'll find a way of how I'm going to do that, but your size speaks against you. I know it's bloody hard for me to be angry, but I am because I really want to win. Evie however wants to win a lot more than Sam does. I'm sure Sam's been SCW World Bombshells champion before. If so then I don't understand why anybody wants to go for another title reign.

I don't know anything about Sam though because I don't really watch women's wrestling, but Evie is more than ready for you and from speaking to her yesterday, she wants to eat you fucking alive. She'll rip and tear you to fucking pieces like a shark. She's dangerous like a shark and comes out all guns and blazing at you.

The same as I will do with Ben as well as he knows I've been gunning for you and I know Samuel's defeated you before in a singles match, but I want to beat you just like Samuel has and he even wants me to kick your ass despite being buddies. I'm ripping your fucking head off because I'm a monster of destruction who brutalises people to a point they won't be left standing.

All of you three wanted to be in this match because of a chance to win a title, but for me it's different and I'm getting very close to achieving this goal, heck something could happen to me straight after this tournament, but I'll discuss that later as this is far more important and you'll witness of me overcoming odds of no longer being a woman hater or have no trust in women because that's what the tournament has given me.

Of course I want to win a title shot for Samuel. He deserves it after all the hard work he's been putting into his training lately and all because he knows he's gonna go on a solo's run very soon in SCW because I want to see him achieve his own goals and I know he's ready to fight anybody, but right now I'm ready to fuck you up Ben and you will be fucked up once I'm done with you. There's no nicey dicey games around this tournament because I'm taking you seriously and I will capture the win you got over me because it needs to be done.

You'll find out tomorrow night when I tear you body to pieces as Evie will with Sam as well because we are the most competitive and jelled team in this tournament and it's by our friendship and yes I called a lady a friend, get used to it that got us right here on this spot and I'll fuck up anybody who gets in my way, including you Ben. Tomorrow night Sam and Ben, you'll prepare yourselves to be Raabinated by a sniper rifle and The Masked German Monster as we'll prove to you both who's the better team and win a chance to be title contenders or for Samuel to be a title contender in my case. Good luck Ben and Sam cos your gonna need it.”

Ben Jordan & Sam Marlowe Vs Lord Raab & Evie Baang

â€œHey sleepyhead,” says a voice as a redhead opens her eyes and offers the owner of the voice a sleepy smile.  Montgomery Christopher leans against the door jamb as Sam Marlowe sits up in the bed, her curls tousled as she rubs at her eyes.  â€œHow did you sleep?”

“Mmmm slept very well and I needed this for the longest time,” says Sam as she stretches once more before turning to let her legs escape the blankets.  Dressed in just a long white button-down, she slowly walks towards the door and offers Monte a soft kiss before moving past him.  Monte smirks before following the redhead down the stairs and into the kitchen where she starts to rummage through the fridge that she had opened.

“Ummm Monte, you don’t have anything for breakfast do you?” ponders Sam as she pulls out a bottle of milk and sets it on the counter.  â€œOr is it your plan to keep me here faint from hunger?” she jokes.

Moving behind her, Monte reaches over the fridge for a box of cereal that he shakes lightly.  â€œI got this but I don’t know…the keeping you here sounds like a good idea,” returns Monte as he pulls the box out of the hands of Sam who had been reaching for it.  â€œTell you what, why don’t we just do that hmm?”

Sam cocks one eyebrow at Monte before moving into him and sliding her hand up his chest then arm to pull it down as her lips barely caress his only to pull away with a smirk as the box of cereal is in her hand.  Turning, she moves to the cabinets and opens them to find a bowl which she pulls down then pulls out a drawer to add a spoon.  Monte reaches for the cereal box once more but a growl of warning has him holding up his hands in surrender.  Sam pours herself a bowl then pours milk over it.  With a smile, she slips the spoon into the flakes and takes a slow bite, letting the spoon trail over her lips which close while she chews.

Monte leans against the counter watching as Sam stands over the sink eating the cereal.  He lets his elbows rest on the granite countertop as he watches Sam who seems intent on her cereal.  Monte leans over and nudges her with his finger forcing a soft eep to escape.  Sam turns to look at Monte who smiles.  â€œWhat do you say about staying?” he asks with a hopeful look.  â€œI got this place here in Boston and I want you to share it with me.  So whadda ya think?”

Sam chokes down the bite in her mouth and sets down the bowl carefully as a confused look crosses her face.  â€œWhat do you mean staying?  You want me to move in with you?” ask Sam slowly.  â€œBut Monte, we talked about this before…school is out in Vegas and I am just getting my career back after a rather dreadful time.  Besides, we have only been together for such a short time…”

Sam is stopped mid comment as Monte straightens and then moves to grasp Sam’s hand.  She looks confused again as she looks down at his hand then up at Monte who had moved closer and let his other hand caress her cheek.  Unsure of what is going on, Sam lets a soft giggle escape before she takes a long breath.

“Monte, what is this?” she asks suspiciously

Monte pulls Sam into the middle of the kitchen and slowly lowers himself to one knee.  Sam gasps softly, her hand moving to her mouth as she watches Monte reach into his pocket and pull something out.  â€œSamantha Marlowe, I have thought about this a long time since I had to come back to Boston and I think I am sure I want to make it official,” says Monte as he flips at the catch of the box in his hand and reveals a small gold ring with the flash of a heart shaped ruby.  â€œI know this is a surprise but Sam, I realize that I need you in my life and I want you to stay with me forever.  Will you ma…”

Sam stops him with one hand before he can finish his thought.  She pulls him to his feet and slowly nods her head.  â€œOh Monte,” she exclaims, tears trailing on her cheek.  He swipes at one with a knuckle of the hand holding the box.  â€œI don’t know what to say…”

“Say yes Sammi,” he encourages her as he pulls her close.  â€œSay yes and we can just stay here and not have to worry about you going back to Vegas except to pack up and move here.”

Sam lays her head against the chest of Monte as she listens to the beat of his heart as well as his words.   “Monte, I have to go back and I still have my wrestling to think about,” she replies only to hear the rumble of his chest as he laughs at the comment.

“Sam, say yes and you will not have to get back in the ring either,” says Monte.

Sam pulls away from Monte, a hurt look on her face.  â€œNot wrestle anymore?  What are you talking about?  I have a match coming up in New York in the finals of the Blast from the Past tournament and Ben and I are going to win it all.  Then I will be the number one contender to the Bombshell championship and I can’t let down the fans and I definitely can’t let Ben down, he is my friend.”

Monte’s face takes on a look of anger.  â€œYou can’t let Ben down?  What has he ever done for you huh?  Yeah the pair of you go to the pub and yeah do the friend thing but what about me Sam.  I am the man that loves you enough to want to settle down now.  Can he do that for you huh?” demands Monte.

Sam reaches a hand up to Monte’s cheek at the sound of the jealousy in his voice.  â€œMonte, Ben is only a friend and that is all.  What I am trying to tell you is that Sin City Wrestling is something I love.  Hell I must love it enough to have let Christian Underwood make me look like a goofy jill of all trades,” jokes Marlowe which doesn’t get a smile from Monte.  Sam’s smile fades slightly as she leans into Monte and wraps her arms around his midsection.  â€œI am sorry Monte, but I can’t give up SCW right now, I have too much investment in making it back to the top once more.”

Monte pulls away and goes back to leaning against the counter as he runs his hand through his hair mussing it as he grits his teeth and closes the small box with a snap.  â€œI guess I can’t compete then,” he snarls as he slams the box onto the granite countertop.  Sam rushes towards him and puts both hands on his cheek.

“Monte, don’t.  I don’t want you to make me have to choose right now.  Why can’t we keep what we have for now?” she asks quietly.

“Because Sam I don’t want to keep what we have, I want to move forward to the next step,” he answers angrily.  â€œBut you don’t want that do you.  You want to give this up for wrestling?”

Monte motions down his body as he gives Sam an angry glare then once more rubs his hand through his hair.  Sam looks down and one hand falls from Monte’s cheek to ball into a fist at her side as once more tears begin to well up in her eyes.  Monte sees them and again swipes at the trickle of one on her left cheek.  â€œPlease don’t hate me Monte but I can’t say yes right now,” she offers almost guiltily.

Monte says nothing and doesn’t look at Sam who pulls away almost reluctantly.  She moves towards the doorway but is stopped by a hand on her arm.  Monte pulls her back and into his embrace as his arms tighten around Sam.  She leans into the embrace and inhales a deep shaky breath.  Pulling away only enough to look into Monte’s face, Sam softly speaks.  â€œAre we ok Monte?”

Giving Sam a look, Monte’s lips tighten as he begins to nod slowly.  Sam stops the nodding with a hand and caresses Monte’s cheek.  â€œListen Monte, I want you to save that question for when I retire and then maybe the answer will change?” she teases.  Monte can’t help but smile at that comment.  Sliding the box back into his pocket he murmurs deal as he leans in for a kiss.  Sam returns it with a smile before hearing the clock in the hallway chime.  Reaching down to grab Monte’s hand, she pulls it upward, twisting it to check out his watch before exclaiming excitedly that she is going to be late…like Ben Jordan late.  Monte’s eyes narrow at the comment as Sam hurriedly rushes out of the room before he follows her out.

A redhead can be seen back stage at a studio with multiple people surrounding her and helping her get ready for the show.  She spies Ben Jordan and excuses herself to head towards her friend who proceeds to try and get Sam to reveal what they are doing here at Saturday Night Live.  Smiling at her friend, she avoids commenting which only makes Ben look more concerned.

Sam can’t help but bite her lip as she can see Ben getting more and more concerned.  Finally taking him by the arm, she guides him to the curtain where they are joined by Lorne Michaels who points them through the curtains and into the scene…

The live audience can be seen watching as the White House oval office set is seen.  Sitting at the small desk beside the presidential desk, Alec Baldwin is dressed as Donald Trump who is playing with an expandable globe of chain links and laughing.  Suddenly the door opens to reveal Kate McKinnon as Kellyanne Conway and Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer who move to talk to ‘Donald’

“Mr President,” drawls Kellyanne.  â€œWe found them sir and they are just outside.”

“Spicy thinks you did the right thing sir.  These two are going to make it all okay for you,” says Spicer.

“Well bring them in,” says Donald as he gets to his feet.  â€œThis will be yuge!  Amazing even Kellyanne.  When these two are on my side, not even James Comey will be able to beat me.  All those supervillains will get what they deserve for going on and on about the Russian thingie.”

Kellyanne Conway slides towards the door and flings it open to reveal Sam Marlowe and Ben Jordan who walk into the room.  As they do, Donald reaches for a phone and begins to type out a message, speaking as he presses the buttons on the cell phone.  â€œBad guys beware, I got superheros to help me out. #Yugeadvantage.”

“Mr President, let me introduce you to…” begins Kellyanne but is stopped by Donald who moves forward and pumps the hand of Ben in a yanking handshake that pulls him off balance.   “I know who these two are Kellyanne.  We got Clark Kent here and Natasha Romanov,” he says.  Sam and Ben share a glance as Ben holds up a finger.

“Oi mate, I ain’t no Clark Kent,” offers Ben as he tugs his jacket.   “I’m a Cockney gent.”

“Don’t lie, I know you are Superman and Black Widow,” offers Donald.  The redhair gives it away on her.  And you, the chiselled cheeks, cleft chin and yuge muscles.  But I guess it is good that you are under deep cover you know…”

“I’m sorry Mr. President but I am not Black Widow and he isn’t Superman,” says Sam with a bit of a giggle.  Ben nudges her and gives her a wtf look which causes her to fight back a laugh.  â€œWell at least not in public.”  Ben gives her another look as she sticks her tongue out at him.

Donald begins to pace along the length of the desk as Kellyanne coughs and drawls at the trio.  â€œMr. President, this is Ben Jordan and Sam Marlowe from Sin City Wrestling.”

“Do I own that?” demands Donald who is fiddling with his cell phone as Sam and Ben look at each other once more.  â€œNo sir,” drawls Kellyanne.  â€œYou wanted me to find someone to help you fix your image sir and well Sin City Wrestling is in New York for their supercard Into the Void,” adds Kellyanne.

Spicer smiles as he stands on his podium and moves closer to Ben and Sam and crowds them slightly towards Donald.  â€œSir, these two do what you call promos and debates with their opponents in the ring and since you need to make your speeches a bit more punchy, we brought these two in to debate you.”

“Why would I need to debate anyone,” demands Donald.  â€œI beat Hilary, it was huge.  Big electoral college win you know.”  Donald begins to tap on the cell phone but Kellyanne moves across the set and pulls the phone out of his hands.

“Look, could be fun Mr President,” offers Sam who moves closer.  â€œNow why don’t you show me what you would say if you were in a match with…”

“If I was in a match with you, I would do my finisher on you, the grab her by the pu…” says Donald with a leer as he moves towards Sam, his hand reaching to grab her as Ben steps in front of her slightly.

“Mate, I wouldn’t be grabbing Ginge here, that ain’t cricket,” warns Ben as Donald nods and pulls his hand back.

“So then how are we going to do this?” pouts Donald as he moves to sit behind the desk.  â€œAre you sure you can’t be Superman?” adds Donald as he takes a picture of Ben and Sam with the cellphone he had grabbed from Kellyanne.  Spicer brings in moving podium then jumps off it and rushes to the side to ride a second one in for Ben and Sam.  Donald Trump gets behind the podium and prepares to speak by taking a sip of water, sniffling slighty as Ben can be seen fighting off Kellyanne who is trying to get handy as she helps him up behind the podium.  Sam is guided behind the presidential desk and is handed a couple of cue cards.

“Okay sir, Sam Marlowe is going to be asking the questions for you.  And go,” says Sean Spicer.  Sam nods and begins to ask questions.

“First question is about being a fighting champion, what do you think you will need to do to be a champion…Ben?” asks Sam.

Ben smiles and he prepares to speak but Donald beats him to the punch and yells ‘WRONG’ before he can speak.  Sam raises her eyebrow.  â€œMr. President, Ben hasn’t had a chance to respond. “

“To be a champion you have to beat the best,” begins Ben only to have Trump interrupt with a Wrong again then he looks at Ben realizing the accent of the Cockney.   Ben tries to ignore the interruption and speaks again.  â€œYou need to have the drive and abilities to take the fight to anyone and everyone.  Like this week coming up, I am in the ring with my housemate and my friend and we are going to beat each other to win the chance to face the champion and become champion.”

Sam smiles as she turns to Trump.  â€œSame question sir, what do you need to do to be a champion?”

Donald takes a sip of water then sniffles as he begins to speak.  â€œFirst off you need to have a good campaign manager, right Kellyanne?” he jokes as Kellyanne just waves her hand in a whatever motion.  â€œThen you need to have a good campaign team that have some very good contacts and change your story every five minutes.  Never let em catch you doing it though…and if they do, lie.”

Ben’s smile widens as he listens to the comments from Trump.  Shaking his head he grips the podium sending it towards Donald’s which prompts Donald to call for the Secret Service.  A man who looks suspiciously like Putin comes in and steps between Ben and the president holding a green glowing rock.  Donald pats him on the back as Ben just tilts his head.

“Kryptonite comrade,” growls the Putin lookalike.  Ben bats the green rock out of Putin’s hand as Sam gets to her feet and joins Ben.  Putin flexes as Ben and he match up.  Sam moves to stop them but Kellyanne Conway gets in her way.  As the two pairs of people are facing each other, Spicer moves between them as a microphone drops from the ceiling.

“Keep it clean,” says Spicer as he rings the desk bell.  Putin reaches for Ben who locks up with him and then twists Putin into a headlock as Sam catches Kellyanne with a wristlock.  The four turn to the camera and smile as they all shout…

“Live from NEW YORK…ITS SATURDAY NIGHT!!”

The scene moves into the opening montage as Ben and Sam shake hands with Alec and Kate and Melissa.  The pair moves off into the backstage area as Melissa McCarthy hurries to get out of the Spicer costume.  Suddenly the sound of the announcer calling out Melissa’s name stops them and Ben and Sam turn to watch her go out.

“Thanks for doing this opening with me Ben,” says Sam with a laugh.  â€œWhen I got the call from Lorne Michaels, I wasn’t sure you would want to do it.”

“It would have been better if you told me what was going on Ginge,” replies Ben as the two continue to watch the opening monologue.

“Yeah but if I had, it wouldn’t have been as fun as seeing you wondering earlier Prat,” jokes Sam only to have Ben shake his head and mutter some flavourful cockney words that Sam smiles at but appears to ignore as music plays to end Melissa’s monologue and move into the next scene.

Sam Marlowe can be seen in a pair of torn jeans and a Ben Jordan tee as she walks along Time Square that is lit up brightening the nighttime scene.  As she walks along, she can be seen talking into her cell phone.

“Well here we are, Into the Void is only days away and I can’t get it out of my mind that I am in the finals and Ben and I will be facing people that some would say are friends.  But the question is, are they really friends and if so, will this be a match of mutual respect?” ponders Sam as she walks.  â€œOf course the answer to that is a resounding maybe.”

Sam is called out to by someone on the street that recognizes her causing Sam to smile and wave back before turning to the camera once more.  The lights behind her flash and blink enveloping her in a halo of color.

“I say maybe because I have this sneaky suspicion that for one or two people, it won’t be friendly.  Of course I am talking about Evie and her natural impulse to be evil.  I saw it when she and Ben took on Jamie and Amy in a mixed tag.  She talks a good game about wanting to be friends then tears people to shreds to get ahead.  Yeah, that is really some kind of friend,” offers Sam as she slowly looks around.  â€œI can just imagine what she is saying about me and you know what..that is fine, whatever she needs to say to help her sleep at night, she has every right to say.  And if truth be told, I really don’t care because I am not concerned about words.”

Sam smirks slightly as she begins to move once more along the famed square.  She puts one hand in the pocket of her jeans as she walks, the cellphone held in front of her.

“I suppose if I really wanted to talk about this match, I would have to talk about what kind of people we are.  Evie and I are as different as day and night.  She needs to be the center of attention, constantly needing to be around Ben and Jamie and all of us.  She is a hanger on that couldn’t stand on her own so she began to leech off anyone she could get her claws into.  Sad part of that is that she realizes how it looks and doesn’t think of anything but her own gratification no matter what,” says Sam with conviction.  â€œWhereas I don’t get to spend all my time with Ben because I don’t need to.  I have a life other than draping myself all over someone.”

“Yeah people call me a goodie two shoes because of my personality and that is because that is who I am.  I am not one thing one minute then doing a complete one eighty the next.  I don’t flip flop attitudes and I definitely don’t talk a big game like Evie.  That is another difference between the two of us.  She is in your face talking about how she is going to be beating someone like they are a little bitch…excuse the language…” offers Sam before continuing.  â€œMe on the other hand, I don’t need to talk a big game.  I don’t need to say bad things about people to get my point across.  I just go out there and do what I do best and that is make people sit up and take notice of me in the ring with my skills.  Yeah, maybe I don’t trash talk like Evie does and I am sure she is giving a mouthful of it about me for the match at Into the Void.  And if she needs to do that then fine, go right ahead Evie.  Be my guest.”

Looking confidently at the camera again, she offers it a smile.

“You know Evie, for all your talk and all your in your face throwing yourself at Ben, enjoy because you know what…it just shows your desperation and need for a friend.  Sure you are tough, I will give you that,” concedes Sam, “and I am sure that you and Raab are going to be coming to that ring to beat Ben and I and rise to the top of the ranks in SCW.  And if you do, bravo.  But I also know just what I am capable of and I know what Ben is capable of and I trust him not to let me down as I know I won’t be letting him down either. ”

Sam looks at the camera and sucks in her bottom lip as the look of confidence fades slightly.

“You want to know what has made me laugh about this match Evie?  Do you want to know how I feel about this match?  I am really looking forward to stepping into the ring and I am really looking forward to testing myself against you just to see if this tournament wasn’t a fluke but in all seriousness, I have to admit, I don’t want to face you either.”

Bringing her freehand to her head, she runs it through her curls that have begun to float on the breeze and into her face.  She stops with the lights of Time Square behind her.

“That’s right Evie, I don’t want to face you because you are a not so nice person that needs to be the center of attention.  Part of me wanted to throw the match and not even show up.  How does that make you feel Evie?  To know that I don’t want to have anything to do with you in the match but like I said, I won’t let Ben down.  So I will step in the ring and I will do what I need to do. “

Sam can’t believe what she had said but takes a long drawn out breath to calm her nerves to continue.

That is another difference between you and me Evie.  I don’t believe in letting people down.  I smiled through the torture that Christian Underwood put me through because I refuse to let him down even when he let me down.  I was given the shot in this tournament by Mark Ward and for his faith in me I will not let him down either.  So will you be able to overcome the fact that I am too dang stubborn to let you win in that ring?  Will you be able to get past my desire to prove the faith that was put in me was well placed?  Or are you just going to laugh in my face.  I suspect it is the later and that is okay by me.  Because when you are laughing, I am going to be beating you from ringpost to turnbuckle and I am NOT going to stop until Ben’s and I’s arms are raised in victory.”

Sam slowly raises her arm to emphasize her comment.

“I’ll see you in the ring Evie and I hope you bring every bit of the darkness and evil that is you because that is what you are going to have to do,” offers Sam.  â€œBut remember, good always wins.”

With that comment, Sam begins to walk again joining the crowd in Time Square until she disappears.
