A Conversation With The End
Scene One | Off-Camera

Alex wasn’t entirely sure what was compelling him to meet with Vita Mors. He wasn’t particularly thrilled by the Wit Trial draft party that had been held at the towers. There were too many moments that it reminded him of the months he had lost his mind. Kaleidoscope dreams, visions of a reality with a loving father. Ghosts that felt more real than all the others that plagued him. There was something about this Vita Mors that really put him off. So why was he sitting there in the lobby of the bizarre towers? He wasn’t quite sure.

His mind needed to be focused on the Blast From The Past. There was a certain sweet irony in the world. A repeat of last year. Deja vu some might call it. The only difference this time? Alex had nothing to lose. There was no dominant Internet Championship reign at risk. There was no Jack Washington to act as his foil. In fact there were a few people that were owed a receipt for prior embarrassments.

Mark Cross had fallen at his hand in recent times, but there was unfinished business to be concluded there still. Peter Vaughn, so confident in himself, had said words that remained under his skin. That it was never going to be him. That whilst Vaughn was around, Alex wasn’t ever going to be the man over him. And that didn’t sit right. Yet, despite all that. Despite the fact that he should be across the ocean catching up with Luna after her showing in the opening round. Despite all that, Alex was here. Sitting in the lobby of Vita Towers, waiting for a sit down with the illusive owner himself.

His phone buzzed in his pocket. ‘Alexander Calaway’ was the name that came up. It made sense. Despite it all, if they wanted any chance at it, they needed to at least be able to be around each other. But he didn’t answer for now. He let it go through to voicemail. He’d listen to it later. The tap of leather shoes on the pristine floors. He’d say they were polished marble if he didn’t know any better. But the trick of the con-man was to make all appear more than it actually is.

“Thank you for waiting, Mr Rabenschwarz. Mr Mors will see you now.” Ashton Mire said. Alex still didn’t like looking at the man. No level of tailor made suits, slicked back hair and attempts at mopping away the greasiness was ever going to make him think positively of the guy. Or this situation in general, for that matter. He reminded him far too much of Sullivan Pleasant, and that was not a good thing for anyone trying to get his business.

“This better be good. I really don’t want to be here.” Alex said as he got to his feet slowly. His body was still somewhat feeling the effects of the street fight. Not that he would ever admit it, but truthfully, he was held together by glue and tape at the best of times.

“I assure you, I am certain you will find some benefit in this meeting. Almost everyone does.” Ashton said, attempting to reassure. Something was off about him today, more so than in their previous meetings. He seemed paler, and sweating a little under the collar. Like he was suffering from a migraine, but was doing his best to push through it.

Alex simply let out a long sigh and waved his hand, indicating for Mire to lead the way. Ashton smiled and stood to the side, showing the way toward the nearest elevator. The two of them fall into step beside each other, but moving in mostly silence. He felt his phone buzz again. A message this time.

"Raven, I left you a voicemail. Listen to it. Let's meet up and discuss our strategy for the Blast from the Past Tournament. This is our chance to shine. - Alexandra"

Alex sighed and shook his head. He intended to touch base when he got to France. He’d been thinking about making that call, but it just hadn’t panned out. There was a resentment in his heart that stopped him from reaching out. He’d get back to her eventually. Probably when he did land in Normandy. Things were just a little bit busy right now.

“Can you give me a moment? I need to listen to this.”

Before stepping onto the elevator he placed the phone up to his ear, playing the left voicemail.

“Hey, Alexander. It's Alexandra Calaway. I know, I’m the last person you want to hear from, but..”

She took a deep breath.

“Look, I know we haven't always seen eye to eye, but I wanted to talk to you about the Blast from the Past Tournament. This could be our chance to break out of the rut we've been in, to show everyone what we're truly capable of if we team together one more time. I know we can do this. Do you really want your legacy to have that red stain of our loss?”

She pauses, gathering her thoughts before continuing.

“You and I both know that we're forces to be reckoned with in that ring. Together, we can create something incredible, something that'll shake up the entire wrestling world. But we can't do that if we're stuck in our own heads, doubting ourselves. I’ve moved on from all that bullshit, have you?”

Her tone becomes more urgent, a hint of frustration seeping in.

“So, I'm asking you to get off your ass, Alexander. Stop dwelling on the past and start focusing on the future. We have a chance to make history, and I refuse to let that opportunity slip through our fingers because of pride or ego. Be it yours or mine.”

She takes a deep breath, her voice softening.

“Think about it, okay? Give me a call back when you get this. Let's do this, Raven. Let's show them all that last year was a fluke. That we are the best.”

Closing it out on his phone he shook his head again a little. Mire simply stood there smiling at him, waiting for the go ahead to step into the elevator. Alex looked down at his phone, and sent a simple message in response.

“Got your message. Will talk to you after the match. Kick Shay Owens head in, and I’ll choke out that nothing bitch Jamie Dean.”

They stepped into the elevator. The sheer copper bronze colouring of everything was beginning to hurt his head. The longer he was in this place, the more his eyes hurt. The more his head hurt. The more everything seemed to be pushing down on him and trying to crush him. He pitched the bridge of his nose as the elevator rocketed upwards. Despite the size of the building, he felt like he was riding the damn thing forever.

“If I can make a suggestion, Mr Rabenschwarz. Have you ever heard the Nietzsche quote? ‘If you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.’ In this place, in this world. That has a far more literal meaning.” Ashton said, turning to look at Alex.

He’d never realised how bizarre it was for someone to face the wrong way in an elevator. To face inwards, or away from a door. The things he was saying didn't really make sense at that moment. They didn’t really make sense to him at all.

“You guys are a few acorns short of a forest, aren’t you?” Alex said, holding the bridge of his nose still. The elevator finally came to a stop, and it felt like a cloud lifting from his head. Like the popping of ears, the pain washed away.

“Please, be careful Mr Rabenschwarz.” Ashton warned, as the doors opened.

Alex stepped out into a far more muted office. Dark corporate greys and blacks. Unnecessary indoor chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. A large desk, and standing beyond it was the mysterious enigma known as Vita Mors. Like the cult-icon he was meant to be. A heavy robe hanging loose on his shoulders, his grey ashy skin. He was facing away from Alex, looking out a window that seemed to look out onto… nothing.

Absolutely nothingness.

Looking at it made that pain rush to his head again. His eyes demanded to stare at it, but his brain screamed at him to stop. Mors held up a hand, and waved him forward. Waved him toward the window. Towards himself.

“Alright, what the fuck do you want?” Alex said, walking forward. Forcing his eyes down. Forcing them away from the expanse of nothing.

“Mr Rabenschwarz. Please, do watch your language. Words have power, and I do not wish to see you misuse them.” Mors said. His voice was lighter than he expected. More gentle than the imposing otherworldly figure would seem.

“Do you believe in the impossible, Mr Rabenschwarz? Infinite universes, infinite possibilities. Times and universes where James did not pass in that hospital. Universes where you got to hold his hand as he faded into nothingness. Do you believe in these things, Mr Rabenschwarz?”

Alex stood there, dumbfounded. Everything in his body screamed at him to leave. To ignore the prattling of this creature. Yet, he found himself seemingly rooted to the spot. Unable to think about actually moving, let alone leaving. Fucking space wizards.

“What I offer, Mr Rabenschwarz, is insight. The chance at being something more. The chance at reaching into times and places you never even thought possible. Benevolence is not my aim, but in some ways it seems to be that. Please, do me the service of hearing me out.”

Mors turned around, turning to face Alex. His mask obscured all but his mouth. It was odd…

There was something strangely familiar about his jaw. His teeth. The shape of his face. The more he looked, the more it seemed that Vita Mors was someone he knew. His shoulders, his chest, his height. Even his voice was somewhat familiar.

“It can’t be…”

“James?”

Conspiracy to Manipulate
Scene Two | On-Camera

“Conspiracy. That’s the tale of the tape for Alexander Raven. Conspiracy is what guides me, because there is without a doubt, a fucking conspiracy against me. See, Ben Jordan was made to see the truth of it. Though I would have loved to have put him out to pasture, leaving little Samantha Marlowe without a known return. Possibly ending her career, well. That puts things in a little bit of perspective. It reminds people that just because you want to see The Conspiracy torn down. It doesn’t mean you get to come anywhere fucking close to doing it.”

“Reminders. That’s what it was all about. Reminding people that The Conspiracy means fucking business. That when we threaten to tear someone down, we do it. That when we threaten to rip someone apart, we fucking do it. That when we put down threats, they are paid in blood. Ben Jordan was made to realise that just being good at the ol’ graps, wasn’t going to be enough. That the message was as important as the journey. That the decisions were just as important. And the conspiracies come full circle as a result.”

“See there are two instances of convenient fate that have occurred this year. A repeat of what had happened, just one year earlier. Once again, Alexander Raven and Alexandra Calaway are teamed up for the Blast From The Past tournament. A year on, and I’m not any better off for it. Failed challenges for the World Championship. Failed attempt at reclaiming my Internet Championship. A slew of failures and roadblocks, and yet. Here a year later, I’d hazard that there are few people that think anyone but Alexander Raven is going to be the man who steps into the ring with Finn Whelan for the World Heavyweight Championship. In fact, I doubt there is a single person who thinks that any other person deserves to be standing across the ring from Finn Whelan. That is the money match. That is the marquee match. That is the only match that fucking matters in Sin City Wrestling. So let’s look at what is before us as mere formality, shall we?”

“See, I think there is something to be said about the way that those who are in power want to keep me oppressed. It becomes harder and harder to deny the fact they are attempting to fuck with me when we are presented with a situation like we have here. Alexander and Alexandra teamed up and in the opening round we have Shay Owens… and Jamie fucking Dean.”

“Oh, how poetic it is that we are face to face once more Mr Dean. You were part of my crusade. Part of my journey. Part of my message to Ben Jordan. Some may call what I did cowardice, I’m not of that camp. No, you made the mistake of thinking you were safe walking into my fucking ring. You made the mistake of being friends with a target of my ire, and you got lucky that all I did was choke you out. Ask Samantha how it feels to be on the opposite end of The Conspiracy. Ask her what the outcome is for those who continue to ally with those I disdain. No, Mr Dean, what I did to you was little more than a necessary action. A necessary behaviour. A necessity in life. I made you relevant.”

“Relevancy is all that matters, isn’t that right? That’s what everyone always tries to tell me. That I’m suddenly irrelevant, and that being irrelevant, they can overlook me. That my failures are just par for the course, because that’s all that matters. Relevancy is all that fucking matters in this little industry of ours, which makes me wonder about you, Mr Dean. It makes me wonder, why are you here? Are you just another obstacle placed in my path? Another thing put in my way to stop me from achieving what I need to achieve. Another part of the manipulation and control of the invisible hands to manipulate and put me down. You are just part of that, aren’t you Jamie?”

“But that’s okay. I understand this incessant need to infringe upon me. To pretend like it’s the whims of fate that put you before me, that put Alexandra Calaway at my side. It would have been far less interesting for all involved if they had simply put Luna and I together. No, that would have been far too convenient of an outcome. The opportunity was there for the most prolific match of all time. When Luna and Alexander Raven won the Blast From The Past tournament, they challenged Finn Whelan and Kayla Richards to a Winner Takes All match-up. The Blast From the Past winners, also the The Conspiracy. Taking the Worlds Championships in both divisions, and the Mixed Tag Team Titles all in one fell swoop. That would have been too convenient.”

“No, instead, we have this. We have you and me, Mr Dean. We have Calaway and Owens. We have nothing and everything. You being nothing, in case you were wondering. But that’s okay. I don’t resent you for simply being. I don’t resent you for being part of their game. I don’t even resent you for not realising your part in this play. What I do resent you for, Jamie. Is that you have the audacity to prance your way into my world once more, and try and ruin my world once more. Prance your way into my world once more and act like it is your god-given fucking right. There is nothing given, Jamie. Nothing given, and nothing taken.”

“But, but, but, but. It’s okay. I am happy to show you the truth once more. I am happy to make another example of you. I am happy to show you what you clearly haven’t understood. A conversation with Ben would've shown you the truth of your failings, and yet. Yet you continue to walk into the flames and act as if it is your right to do so. And so, I will show you the truth of your failings. I will show you the actions that lead to your nothingness. I will show you that being a king in name does not make you a king in my world. Call me delusional if you must, Jamie. But I will break you.”

“But I haven’t forgotten about you sweet little Shay Owens. No, I know of you. Interesting isn’t it? You were a Triad hopeful too. A failure of a hopeful, but a hopeful nonetheless. I know of you Shay, and that’s not a good thing for anyone. Because those who come across my purview? They are broken for it. They are hurt by it. They are put in their place for it. Though it may be Alexandra Calaway that need put your in your fucking place, it is Alexander Raven that will break you if need be. Manipulation of the rules. Manipulation of the ring. Manipulation, that is my role.”

“So, Shay, let me ask you something. Are you truly prepared to step between those ropes with a killer? Are you truly prepared to step into the ring with people who do not care for your well-being? I wonder, Shay. I truly wonder. But it does not matter.”

“All I need to know.”

“Have you been listening?”

“The Conspiracy is here.”

---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---•---

Eiley carefully adjusts her tank top and simple pair of spandex shorts as she stands outside of Mikah’s gym in Kaneohe, Hawaii. She takes a breath before gaining some confidence before cautiously walking through the front doors of the gym. She looks around the gym, only standing in the entrance to the gym and she could see that the upstairs work out area was  buzzing with activity and then her eyes move to rings that were set up in the main level of the gym. She could see that Mikah was in the ring, working with Kendall and maybe a new student or two, she didn’t really know. The place was buzzing with activity and Eiley was for the most part, going unnoticed.

Eiley jumps back as three kids run in from outside and nearly knock her over.

••eiley•• “Hey!”

Two of the kids mostly ignored Eiley but the youngest, Myles, turns back at her. She watches the frown on the four and a half year old’s face before the look of realization hits him. Eiley watches as he stops to look at her before giving her a cheeky grin and then running off to follow his siblings through the gym. Eiley just stands there for a moment, trying to think thoroughly about her next step. She doesn’t have a lot of time to think as she has seemingly gathered Mikah’s attention.

Eiley watches as a few different emotions seem to run over Mikah’s face before Mikah seems to gather control of her emotions and returns to a neutral state. Eiley sighs as she moves towards the ring, walking slowly as she does as she wasn’t sure what sort of reaction Mikah would have towards her. Mikah steps out of the ring and Eiley sort of shrinks back as she sees the slightly angry look on her face. She wasn’t sure what to expect from Mikah but she didn’t expect that Mikah would be this angry.

;;MIKAH “You have some nerve..”

Eiley just swallows, hard as she moves to stand her ground, not wanting to back up from Mikah. She wanted to show that she wasn’t scared of the Hall of Famer and that she was confident enough to stand her ground.

••eiley•• “Uh…”

She barely has any time to think about what was going to happen next or even contemplate what she was going to say because Mikah cuts her off.

;;MIKAH “Do you know how long you’ve been out of reach? Do you know how many times somebody in this building has tried to contact you? Or do you even care?”

Eiley just looks at Mikah with a deer in the headlights sort of look as she tries to think quickly of an excuse for her absence. But it is clearly not something that she has thought too much about as she struggles to come up with a reason or an excuse. Mikah was still looking at her as if she was waiting for a proper response and Eiley continues to struggle with a proper reasoning.

••eiley•• “I’m sorry! I just…needed some space.”

The look on Mikah’s face did not scream that she was impressed with the reasoning that Eiley had given her. Eiley shifts her weight a little uncomfortably under Mikah’s stare as it doesn’t seem to waiver at all, staring at Eiley as if she was waiting for the actual truth and not just something that Eiley was saying to save face.

;;MIKAH “Space? As if the ocean isn’t enough space for you to be able to collect whatever feelings that you were feeling? I’m pretty sure Hawaii would have given you enough space to sort through whatever shit you needed to without disappearing on everybody.”

Eiley just looks at her for a moment, processing what Mikah was saying. But it was almost as if Mikah didn’t have that much patience for Eiley anymore. Eiley couldn’t understand why Mikah didn’t understand where she was coming from.

••eiley•• “You wouldn’t understand. And how could you? When you were in SCW, you always had a following and you had run the division for so long. You never needed to have space to think.”

The words that spill from the young woman’s mouth do not even seem to phase Mikah that much as she holds her own ground. The look on her face was emotionless for the most part except for the fact that Eiley knew that Mikah was upset with her.

;;MIKAH “Did you ever stop for one moment to think about how your absence has affected those around you?”

Eiley had noticed how Mikah had completely disregarded what she had said and Eiley boldly rolls her eyes in front of Mikah, not bothering to hide the motion.

••eiley•• “Why do I have to think about how my decisions affect other people? Nobody has ever thought about how their decisions affected me. So why do I have to be the one to think about how my decisions affect other people. I doubt you’ve ever thought about anybody other than yourself. Until recently, that is.”

The tension between the two was thick as Eiley hadn’t ever really stood up to Mikah before. The look on Mikah’s face, however, said it all as she looks at the twenty-one year old with a dirty look on her face that soon morphs into a smirk.

;;MIKAH “I get it, you’ve had a hard life, Eiley but things are different around here for you, now. And they have been for over a year now. You can’t walk in here like you haven’t been gone for months and act as if your absence hasn’t affected anybody. Things aren’t like they were in your childhood.”

Eiley was growing frustrated with the way that Mikah was avoiding some of the things that she had been saying to her and only picking and choosing things to respond to. She takes a moment to try to organize her thoughts before she responds to Mikah again. Eiley stands there for a few moments and Mikah just raises an eyebrow at her as she too waits for Eiley’s response. There could be sounds heard throughout the gym of people working in the ring and up above in the weight area of the gym.

;;MIKAH “Don’t worry, I have all the time to wait, Eiley.”

••eiley•• “Oh, what? You’re not chasing after your heathens that run around thinking they can control everything?”

The words had slipped out of her mouth before she could stop them. She knew that the kids were the one subject that Mikah would be defensive over and Eiley could see the mood within Mikah change.

;;MIKAH “Those heathens can run around this gym and do whatever they want, it is their second home. Kristopher and I want them to feel safe here. And don’t worry, every single person who steps into this gym through those front doors knows not to lay a hand on them or discipline them. And you will follow suit.”

Eiley just clenches her jaw for a moment, trying to keep calm and to try to gather a stronger hold on what she allowed to slip out. Eiley knew that she had to be calculated on how to talk with Mikah and she knew that Mikah had a quick reaction as well. She also knew that people liked to call Mikah dumb but she was well aware that Mikah was anything but dumb and that she just let people make up their own assumptions about her.

••eiley•• “I just think it’s unfair that I’m expected to think about how my own decisions will affect other people when it’s not the same the other way around. It’s kind of hypocritical, if you ask me.”

The smug look didn’t seem to leave Eiley’s face and Mikah just shakes her head. She stops for a moment, hearing a scream and Eiley listens as well. She watches Mikah’s face and then takes a moment to recollect her thoughts. Mikah soon turns her attention back to Eiley after determining that the scream was nothing to be really concerned about.

;;MIKAH “Well, I didn’t ask you if you thought it was hypocritical, Eiley. You should be taking some sort of accountability for your actions. You’re acting as if you’ve only been gone a couple weeks and not since the middle of January, which was nearly four months ago.”

Eiley lets out an exasperated noise as she looks around, trying not to throw her hands up in the air and just walk out of the gym. She knew that Mikah was pushing her and trying to get her to admit that she was in the wrong.

••eiley•• “I know how long I have been gone, Mikah. I know when I left to get some space and to think. I realize it has been a long time but I wasn’t even sure that I wanted to come back! And right now? I’m regretting that I even stepped through those doors. I just thought that maybe I could step back in that ring and try to work on whatever skills I need to improve on.”

Eiley watches Mikah for a moment and can see her switching gears and she was fully ready for a new sort of tactic to come from Mikah.

;;MIKAH “What about Oz? You didn’t think about him? Or coming back to him? Or for him? Hell, you haven’t even sent him a message and he’s also been gone for a while, looking for you. I had thought that if there was one person that you would have told your location to, it would have been him.”

A blank look crosses over Eiley’s face as Mikah mentions Oz. It wasn’t the tactic that Eiley thought that Mikah would use. She blinks a few times, trying to think of an answer for Mikah.

••eiley•• “I-don’t…I…it’s….I tried to, I just couldn’t bring myself to…text Oz.”

She had stumbled and stammered over her words. She curses at herself in her mind, hoping that it didn’t give anything away. She should have known that Oz was going to be brought up in the conversation; he was just as important to this gym as she was. She watches as a smirk crosses Mikah’s face and that cold, determined look is now in the Hall of Famer’s eyes; a look that many of Mikah’s opponents had seen before when she had figured something out in the ring.

;;MIKAH “You know, I knew that you would show back up. I told Kristopher that you’d be walking through those doors after I heard your name being called and then being paired with Mark Cross at Blaze of Glory for the Blast From the Past tournament.”

Eiley lets out a breath that she hadn’t known she had been holding as Mikah switches the subject from Oz.

••eiley•• “I…thought it would be nice to finally come back and try to win the tournament. I had hoped that Oz was going to be in the tournament so that we could be paired together randomly. But apparently, he wasn’t entered in the tournament.”

Mikah shakes her head at Eiley.

;;MIKAH “How can he enter a tournament when he’s been looking for you, Eiley? Did you not think about letting him know before you entered your name into the tournament? It might have encouraged him to enter his name.”

Eiley stumbles over a few things in her head, trying to think of something that would counter what Mikah had asked. She could see that Mikah was already feeling as if she had the upper hand and she probably did. Eiley could feel how she was slipping up and things weren’t making sense to Mikah and she could feel herself struggling to keep her head above the water.

••eiley•• “I didn’t know that Oz was looking for me…he n-never contacted me….”

A slightly sinister laugh spills from Mikah’s lips and it sort of surprises Eiley and she takes a step back. She didn’t like the calculated look that was now in Mikah’s eyes.

;;MIKAH “I just told you a few moments ago that he was looking for you, Eiley. This is the second time that I’ve mentioned it.”

The look on Eiley’s face falters just momentarily as she looks at Mikah, a bit surprised and she blinks a few times.

••eiley•• “But I didn’t…Oz didn’t…he didn’t get ahold of me. I would have told him that I was going to enter the tournament and come back.”

Mikah just shakes her head at Eiley and Eiley glances around her, feeling uneasy as her mentor looks annoyed with her.

;;MIKAH “I don’t believe that, Eiley. You know why?”

Eiley just shakes her head no and Mikah steps a little closer to her. Eiley sucks in a breath and holds it as she feels her heart beating fast inside her chest.

;;MIKAH “Because I know that Oz had tried texting and calling you a week or so after you left to get space. And I’m pretty sure or at least ninety-seven percent sure that he’s tried since then. So your little claim that Oz hasn’t tried to get in touch with you doesn’t sit well with me.”

Eiley chews on the inside of her cheek, sure that she was going to chew a piece of it off as she tries to calm her racing heart down. She tries her best to think about what to say next to Mikah but there wasn’t anything that she could think of that would appease Mikah.

••eiley•• “But how do you know it was me that he was texting? Maybe Oz just told you that he was trying to find me. Maybe he was lying to you to disappear too.”

Mikah laughs again, the noise sounding anything but joyous as Eiley feels that feeling of anxiety settling in. She takes another step backwards as she sees the sinister look in Mikah’s eyes.

;;MIKAH “While I’m not too friendly with one Oliver Zahn, I know that he was looking for you and texting you. The two of you? You don’t have many friends or people who you keep close. But you and Oz kept close to each other. So I know it was you that he went looking for when you never returned any of his text messages or phone calls. Don’t treat me like I’m stupid, Eiley, because I’m smarter than you.”

Eiley swallows hard as she feels the wrath that Mikah was easily portraying toward her. She glances around the gym, looking for anybody that she could hopefully use as an ally but she didn’t see anybody.

••eiley•• “Um…I…”

She stammers over her words but both of them are pulled away from their own train of thought as Kris walks into the gym, his phone in his hand and he stops when he sees Eiley and Mikah talking.

;;MIKAH “Exactly. You don’t have anything else to say to me. So I want you to get out of my gym, Eiley. And by the way….”

Mikah takes a step closer to Eiley and leans in, her lips next to Eiley’s ear.

;;MIKAH “You’ve never called Oz, Oz.”

The color drains from Eiley’s face as she realizes that she had slipped up and she just turns and walks out of the gym, not wanting to argue with Mikah anymore. She wasn’t sure where she was going to go, but she knew that she couldn’t stay there anymore. She looks up at the Hawaiian sun and takes a moment to think to herself before starting to walk in the direction of the highway. She pulls her phone out of her pocket to call for an Uber as she tries to think of what she wanted to do next. She needed to find somewhere to train and she knew now that Mikah’s gym was off limits and she couldn’t step foot in there again as she was now not welcome there any longer.

••eiley•• “Fuck.”

The scene opens up to the landing beaches  and gets a shot of the ocean before the camera moves to get a view of what has been set up on the beach. For the time being, the beach is pretty much empty but a few rows of chairs have been set up, facing the ocean. There wasn’t anybody sitting in the chairs, but there was a distinct aisle in between the sets. While there weren’t people in the chairs, there was something sitting in a few of the chairs.  A minute goes by before a figure can be seen in a black dress with a head drawn over their head, shielding their face. The figure is looking down at the sandy beach  as they walk the aisle toward the ocean. The person is holding something in her right hand but is sort of dragging it behind her, tracing a line in the sand with it. The camera zooms in closer to see that the object that the woman is dragging behind her is a sledgehammer. The woman stops at one of the chairs that holds an item on it and the camera zooms in to see a picture of Eiley’s pinned tweet printed out and put in a frame. The woman carefully grabs the sledgehammer and lifts both hands before slamming it down onto the frame, shattering the glass and destroying the frame.

“There comes a time when all good things must come to an end so that a new era can begin…”

The voice is low and almost disguised as the sentence was said slowly and the person was enunciating every world so that each word would not be mistaken for something else. She rips the hood from her head, a disgruntled and angry look on her face as it is revealed to be Eiley.

“And on Sunday? The road to that new era is going to begin for me…”

She sets the sledgehammer back down behind her and drags it to the next row, where a replica of the cruise ship that SCW hosts fans for a week on and then has a show on sits. She raises the sledgehammer up once more and brings it down on the mini replica of the ship and smashes it into many pieces.

“There will be no living in the past for me….”

She lets her gaze linger on the broken pieces of the mini replica of the cruise ship, the sledgehammer sitting on the ruins.

“The last time that you saw my face on a SCW screen was in January when I lost to Kayla Richards on an irrelevant Climax Control, who ironically is the Bombshell Champion right now.”

She takes a moment to let the words sink in for a moment. But the moment doesn’t last as she holds the camera’s gaze, appearing more confident in herself than she used to look. There was something different in her eyes that the camera couldn’t quite differentiate from anything else.

“The date of that Climax Control is irrelevant and that match is irrelevant in itself. But it is the last time that anybody has seen me step foot in a SCW ring or a wrestling ring in general. It is almost as if I disappeared off of the face of the Earth and it may have seemed like I was never going to be seen again.”

She pulls the hood back up to cover half of her face again, indicating the disappearance. She pushes it back down and fixes her blonde hair to keep it out of her face. She turns to face the ocean, her eyes scanning the horizon as she places the sledgehammer back down in the sand behind her and begins to drag it forward once more, making the line behind her longer. She stops at another chair to look down to see a replica of a tag team championship belt sitting on it.

“And this is what was important to me at that time; fighting for a championship belt that I only got half credit for….”

She takes a breath as she stares at the championship belt. The look of disgust is soon written all over her face and she raises the sledgehammer up and over her head before smashing it down on the fake replica of the belt. She does it a few more times, mangling the item into practically nothing.

“But that’s not going to be what happens anymore. Not this time, not this new era.”

She lets the sledgehammer fall down in the sand before she walks to the front of the rows of chairs and she chooses one to sit in. She is quiet for a moment, staring out at the ocean as she lets her words resonate for a moment.

“That’s why I entered the Blast From the Past tournament. I didn’t enter it for giggles or to see who I would be teamed up with. I entered the tournament for the right to choose to challenge for the Bombshell Championship once the winners of the tournament have been crowned.”

She leans back and crosses one leg over the other. She doesn’t seem rushed to talk again as she takes in the view of the ocean. There’s some sort of calm about her as she watches the waves crash onto the sandy beach.

“On June 6, 1944, the allied forces launched the largest amphibious invasion in the history of warfare. The Allied landings on the beaches of Normandy marked the start of a long and costly campaign to liberate north-west Europe from Nazi occupation. This is also known as D-Day or the beginning of the end of the Second World War in Europe.”

The little history lesson was not something that Eiley had planned, but she had come across it when she was doing her research on the landing beaches of Normandy, and she couldn’t help but use it to her advantage.

“That’s what it feels like returning to SCW for this tournament. Or at least, it feels like the beginning of the end of a lot of things.”

She bites her tongue, not wanting to overstep and completely miss on what she was supposed to be talking about. She wanted to leave it vague and that’s what she was going to do.

“In the past, I’ve been compared to Mikah and I’ve been called a miniature version of her and not my own person. I’ve also been given compliments from J2H on a few occasions that people hate to be reminded of. But there’s also a lot of things that I’ve done wrong that don’t seem to get as much credit for. But that’s not what the future is going to be for me.”

She shrugs.

“I am sure that there are a lot of expectations that people in SCW are holding for me and that there are a lot of assumptions that are being made about me, and that’s fine. Everybody can say or think about whatever they want about me because they will no matter what I do in the ring to prove them wrong or what I say in order to try to prove them wrong. I was always in the shadow of my mentor and people weren’t going to take me seriously when it came to wrestling. They never believed that I was going to be anything more than a rip off of what Mikah was in the ring. And I guess I sort of cracked under the pressure and walked away when it didn’t go my way.”

She shrugs her shoulders, letting the movement easily move through her body. She doesn’t move her eyes from the ocean.

“But that’s not today, that’s not how it’s going to be moving forward. I’m going to be just … Eiley. And prove that I can stand on my own two feet without the help of Mikah and her little gym.”

A flash of anger passes through Eiley’s eyes but as quick as it was there, it’s gone even quicker.

“And I’m going to start with using Melissa as an example this Sunday. And I’m sure Melissa is an alright person and I’m sure that a lot of people are picking her to win because it’s just me. The bombshell who clearly has had some fluke wins in her past. There’s no possible way that I can win on Sunday against Melissa. However, my last couple of losses? They were mistakes. Mistakes that shouldn’t have been made and I’ve been working on cleaning those mistakes up. But…”

She smirks a little to herself at the thought.

“This time, there will be no mistakes made when it comes to stepping into the ring against Melissa. I’ll be brutally honest with you.”

She leans forward just a little, placing her elbows on her knees.

“I don’t know a thing about Melissa or who she is or what she can do in the ring. I tried to do my homework and I got bored watching your old promos. But the one thing I can say about you is that you have been trained by decent people. Goth is a SCW Hall of Famer, so at least we have comparable backgrounds in training when it comes to who SCW deems to be important. And Whisper is well known throughout the wrestling community as well, so you’ve had training by people who have their own following and know what needs to be done in the ring.”

She doesn’t seem to hold much emotion on her face as she stares at the ocean for a moment before glancing at the camera, her lips turning up in a grin.

“But being trained by legends can only get you so far, Melissa. And I would know as I’ve had a small amount of success here in SCW. I’ve been one half of the Mixed Tag Team Champions, a division that Oz and I carried for a long time because the two irrelevants took over, who have completely ruined the division because I don’t even know the last time they defended them. But that’s not the point that I’m trying to make. I had success and I wanted to make my success be reliant on what Mikah had taught me in the ring, but she could only teach me so much. Which, is the same for you. Goth and Whisper can only teach you so much before you have to learn some things on your own.”

A smirk stretches across her face as she looks at the camera.

“Sunday is only two days away and only two days until I make my in-ring return for SCW. This time, however, I will not be teaming with Oz but instead Mark ‘The Dragon’ Cross, which is controversial in its own right. He has a reputation in this company and I’ve been told he can be a loud mouth and maybe a little annoying, but he does seem to know how to win this tournament, so for me? That’s a plus. Because I too want to win this tournament.”

The confidence in her eyes is different than before and maybe this time, it was something she actually believed.

“He has the experience in this tournament to know what it takes to win. And I don’t even care if I’m piggy backing off of his success because I know what I want. I also know that he’s perfectly capable of taking care of Aiden Reynolds and I won’t have to worry about some wannabe Finn Whelan wannabe.”

A small glint passes through her eyes before she refocuses and replaces the look with a blank look instead.

“I don’t care what I have to do to win on Sunday, either. I know that I am going to do whatever it takes to beat Melissa and be the better competitor in the ring. Melissa might think she is the better competitor and that she has the upper hand, but she’s going to be proven wrong on Sunday. I know I might be a little rusty in the ring, but I’m going to do everything in my power to ensure that I walk away with the win.”

She smirks again.

“Because this time around?”

She pauses for the dramatic effect.

“I’m not here for the Mixed Tag Team Championship, I’m here to fight for the right to challenge for the Bombshell Championship. Whoever that champion may be when it comes time.”

She shrugs one shoulder up as she looks at the camera.

“It’s nothing personal, it’s just business.”

She winks at the camera for a moment.

“And it’s going to start at the bottom, with Melissa. Hope everybody’s ready to watch it happen.”

She stands up and kicks the chair over with her foot.

“Because it’s going to happen whether you’re ready or not.”

Common Room
Shieldmaidens Clubhouse
San Clemente, California
9:01 AM  PDT

Seleana Zdunich looks around the room and shakes her head at how empty the clubhouse seems to be. As she frowns in confusion, her daughter-in-law, Charter Vice President Haylie Jo “Halo” Annis appears and smiles at her mother-in-law. Seleana smiles and waves a hand to indicate all the space around them.

Seleana Zdunich:  Where is this lot? They are usually crawling, ja?

Halo nods in agreement if not a little amusement.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: Doc is at work at her clinic gig. She took one of the prospects with her to provide a little security, pretty sure it was Lassindra. I think Tory went with them too. Rocket and DeeKay are downstairs looking at stuff for upcoming fight nights.

Halo allows herself a momentary snicker.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: Knowing Rocket, she's probably trying to think of ways of talking Mei fighting or at least helping with the talent. Woman loves watching Mei work.

Another smile crosses Halo’s face as she thinks of how Rocket looks at Mei, amused at how touching it is and how visibly apparent the love between them is.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: Tanya, Maria and Katya are with Stoyo at the tat studio, I think they were meeting somebody there but, no big deal. The Warbirds, Cuervo, Jane and Chi Chi have the other prospects down in the gym. Chi Chi likes running through training just to fuck with B-Brat and D-Dub because they both tend to annoy her.

She pauses, smirking playfully.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: Mostly B-Brat, D-Dub is really just to make it look like Cheech isn’t singling anybody out. Lucy and Key have been catching up some because of residual heat left over from Coneja.

Seleana nods understandingly. “Coneja” was her other daughter-in-law, Sofia Hilton, wife of Brayden Hilton, the twin brother of the woman married to Halo, Brittany “B-Brat” Williams. She had spent time as a prospect in the San Clemente charter right next to her own sister, Ravenna “Cuervo” Rojas, as well as B-Brat, and it had not ended well. Sofia had not taken well to the MC’s hierarchy and how she was not near the top and she did not take well to being given orders to follow feeling the menial tasks were beneath her. Sofia saw herself as different and above and thus had departed the MC to take spots elsewhere with what she saw as greater chances of advancement to being a shotcaller, something she knew was not likely to happen with the Shieldmaidens and definitely not in San Clemente.

Seleana Zdunich:  Ja, she was too close to T-Will’s vision of things, I think. That would not mesh well with the Maidens, ja.

Halo can’t nod her agreement fast enough.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: The drug empire was seemingly calling to her.

She pauses and looks down in shame.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if she was the one…

Trailing off, Halo looks away. Seleana

Seleana Zdunich:  If she was the one?

Halo nods almost absently.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: That was supplying Mama Chrys.

Halo looks back at her mother-in-law.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: I didn’t ask B-Brat about it because I know she and Sofia don’t get along and…

She trails off, uncertain where her thought really was going. Seleana shrugs almost nonchalantly.

Seleana Zdunich:  She would not have believed. Brittany would never have believed her brother capable of such things even if presented with clear evidence.

Halo frowns.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: Sofia…

Seleana nods slowly.

Seleana Zdunich:  Ja, but neither Sofia nor Christina are that good at hiding things for long periods of time. Brayden would have known early so either he would have been required to be in on it with his wife or he would have had to overlook such things intentionally. Brittany would never have believed him capable of either where their mother is concerned.

Halo almost laughs.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: Even though he has done things to ehr own mother for money before herself?

Seleana nods sadly.

Seleana Zdunich:  Brittany always changes her mind in time. Brayden does as well. Sofia has no attachment to her that way. All she sees is a woman that enjoys money and a grandchild. Brittany would have jumped to conclusions no matter where it led her.

Halo stares at Seleana in shock.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: You say this like you already thought she did this…

Seleana shrugs as if the answer is obvious.

Seleana Zdunich:  Christina’s relapse coincided with Sofia and Brayden being brought into T-Will’s business world. It would make sense to try her hand at it with somebody she sees as often as she saw Christina at the time. The only surprise would be if she did not discuss it with others she thought could help her with that business. She was not upset at being asked to leave the Shieldmaidens the way someone usually is. I would hypothesize that she already knew she would leave because she believed she would get more in T-Will’s world than yours, especially given how unpopular she became.

Halo shrugs.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: This is true, personally, professionally in wrestling, in football, in the Maidens…

Seleana Zdunich:  Ja and now?

She shrugs.

Seleana Zdunich:  Who knows what she will do to achieve whatever it is she think she deserves.

Halo nods slightly.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: This means it’s fuckin good she ain’t goin’ to Normandy with you, right?

Seleana nods, chuckling to herself.

Seleana Zdunich:  There are enough things to not look forward to encountering in Normandy without adding her to the list. I have to fight Krystal Wolfe again there…

Halo smirks.

Haylie Jo "Halo" Annis: Have fun stormin’ the beaches.

Seleana smirks playfully back at her daughter-in-law.

Seleana Zdunich:  Ja, sweet as.

Beaches
Normandy, France
3:24 PM  Local Time

The camera opens upon Seleana Zdunich standing along the beach, staring out into the water.

Seleana Zdunich:  We are ready, ja?

She looks over to the camera and smiles.

Seleana Zdunich:  We come to a place that should be considered holy ground. The beaches of Normandy have seen such things that we should all consider ourselves fortunate to be allowed to walk amongst the sands that remain.

She looks back out over the waters again and takes in the scene before her.

Seleana Zdunich:  Krystal Wolfe and I will engage in a struggle and I will…

She trails off still looking out over the water.

Seleana Zdunich:  I will wonder…

Shaking her head in disgust, Seleana sighs heavily.

Seleana Zdunich:  I will wonder why everyone else, including Krystal, seems to bent on playing the victim so much?

She looks back into the camera, still shaking her head at the thought.

Seleana Zdunich:  Why do they all whine no matter what they have accomplished?

Looking back at the water, Seleana’s face becomes almost impassive.

Seleana Zdunich:  Krystal whined before she made a fitta of herself. She whined after and she whined after she tried to claim redemption for making  fitta of herself.

She looks down, allowing her gaze to drift to the sand beneath her feet.

Seleana Zdunich:  Whiny and entitled…

Her gaze drifts back up to the water.

Seleana Zdunich:  So many, including and especially Krystal  seem to think that just because they draw breath that everything should automatically be handed to them.

Seleana turns to glare into the camera.

Seleana Zdunich:  You make such hens out of feathers!

She turns to swing her hands to the right.

Seleana Zdunich:  I win this championship but not this championship.

She swings back the other way.

Seleana Zdunich:  I get this opportunity but not this opportunity.

Looking back into the camera, Seleana points to herself.

Seleana Zdunich:  I do not want to hear it anymore. All you all ever do is whine that you get no recognition or you are kept from what you deserve but almost none of you give anyone else any yourself. Well, if you are not willing to give to anyone else, why should anyone give any to you?

The point moves but the glare does not.

Seleana Zdunich:  Din jävla idiot!

She looks away, shaking her head in disgust again.

Seleana Zdunich:  I hate when hens are made of feathers!

She looks back into the camera.

Seleana Zdunich:  We storm the beaches of Normandy and yet you show such blatant disrespect! If you continue this, you will not deserve to be allowed into the ring!

Looking away, Seleana starts to walk out of the shot.

Seleana Zdunich:  Skit också!

Monday April 29th
Hastings, England

Last night was the opening week of the Blast From The Past tournament, as well as the first show in the Battleground Tour in Hastings. Bobbie and Peter Vaughn were successful in their first round match, which meant it was now time for the pair to move forward and focus on Artie and Kallie’s first round match. Unfortunately for Artie, it would not be an easy feat, because he would have to go up against a man returning to SCW…Konrad Raab.

They needed some sleep first, however. Which is what they got. A good night’s sleep. They would be travelling to France for the next stop of the tour, but they were staying in England one more day anyway. They were just making their way into the lobby, preparing to go do some sightseeing, when they stopped dead in their tracks. Well, Artie did first. Someone was walking into the hotel he was not expecting to see. His father!

“Dad??” He says, letting go of Bobbie’s hand and walking to his father. Bobbie was equally surprised to see her father in-law, but she was more interested in where Artie’s mother was. “What are you doing here?! Where’s Mom?” Artie looks around, expecting to see his mother, but she was most definitely not there.

His father scowls as he sets his suitcase down. “She’s not here.” His recent angry attitude had not changed, which Artie did not appreciate. Bobbie wanted to say something, but she remained quiet, knowing full well it may set him off.

“Uhh…okay.” Artie scratches his head. “But what are you doing here? How did you know we were staying in this hotel?”

His father shrugs. “I knew you’d give all the info to Ken and Barb, so I called Ken. He told me where you were staying. What are you not happy to see me or something? Because I can leave if that’s–”

“What?! No!” Artie raises his voice. He still didn’t understand why his father was being this way, but he got the impression he would be finding out soon enough. “I’m just surprised to see you is all. And without Mom. You two usually never travel alone so it just threw me off. Of course I don’t want you to leave.”

His father rolls his eyes, and actually glances to Bobbie. “Bobbie.” Just a simple greeting, but it was almost as if he wasn’t happy to see her. It hurt not only Bobbie, but Artie also. Before Bobbie could greet him back, Artie had had enough, and decided to address the elephant in the room.

“Dad, come on.” He says, and his father glares back at him. “You’ve been in a horrible mood for, what, months now? What gives? Bobbie has done nothing to you for you to treat her that way.” And it was true. Bobbie was always loving towards her in-laws. And she thought they had always loved her, too. There was never a problem until recently, and they needed to get to the bottom of it.

His father shakes his head, but his scowling suddenly fades. He looks almost apologetic but he remains focused on Artie, avoiding eye contact with Bobbie. Artie waits for an answer. Anything, really, to explain what has been going on. “I…I…Didn’t want to burden you with any of this. You’re all grown up and living your own life out in Las Vegas now. I..I can handle this…” He trails off and before they know it, he starts to sob.

Artie and Bobbie look at one another, concerned. Artie approaches his father, more worried than Bobbie at this point. He places a hand on his shoulder and tries to console him. “Whatever it is wouldn’t be a burden to me, Dad. You know that.” He needed to know. It was just like when Bobbie was dealing with her anxiety struggles, even though that was still an issue at times. “Please tell me what’s going on.”

Artie’s father takes in a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself. He looks at Bobbie and shakes his head. “Not here. Not in front of her.”

Again, Bobbie looks surprised. “Mr. Miller, if I did something…”

“Bobbie, I’ve got this.” Artie interrupts. “I’m sure it’s nothing you did. Let me just…talk to him in private for a few minutes.” He wouldn’t have said this if he wasn’t sure that it was something else upsetting his father. Bobbie had no choice but to agree, and Artie leads his father over to a secluded area of the hotel lobby so they can talk.

His father looks, making sure Bobbie can’t hear them. But he is also looking at how worried and upset his daughter in law is. “I…I shouldn’t have come all this way. This can wait until you guys get home.”

Artie shakes his head. “No.” He replies quickly, refusing to let this fester any longer. “You need to tell me. Now. Is Mom sick? Are you sick? What is it?”

His father shakes his head. “No. No. Neither of us is sick.” He replies, immediately putting that possibility to rest. But Artie still waits for an answer. His father stares at him, knowing there is no way out of this. He has to tell Artie the truth. And it’s a truth that just might shatter him. “What I’m about to tell you, it’s going to come as a huge shock, son.”

Artie nods and does his best to remain calm. “Okay. What’s going on?”

A long pause falls between them, as his father gathers his thoughts and words carefully. He then takes in a deep breath and finally spills the beans. “Your mother…she’s been having an affair.”

Artie’s jaw drops. He shakes his head, refusing to believe it. “What? No. That’s…you’re wrong. Mom would never…” He couldn’t accept what his father was telling him. On the other side of the lobby, Bobbie was anxiously wondering what was being said.

“It’s true, son.” His father replies, nodding his head sadly. “I didn’t want to believe it either, but it is.”

“How? With..with who?! How could she do this to you?! To our family!”  Artie sees Bobbie stepping towards them when she hears him raise his voice, but he holds up his hand, stopping her.

“She doesn’t know that I know.” His father says. “Just…don’t tell her. Or Bobbie until I figure out how to handle this.” Artie just stands there, speechless. How could he face his mother again after learning this? How could he not tell Bobbie the truth?

One thing is for sure. He was glad to have a wrestling match this weekend. Because he suddenly had the urge to punch something…or someone.

The camera opens up, focused on Artie’s awkward smiling face. He waves into the camera, ready to record his first message for the fans, his tag team partner and his opponents this week.

”So, uh, hi everyone. Welcome to my first actual promo for SCW! This feels super weird, because I never thought I’d even be doing this, but I went and made an honest mistake and now I’m paying the price. Or reaping the rewards if it all works out, right? I guess we’ll find out soon enough.”

“Be more positive sweetie! Don’t give them something to use against you!”

Bobbie’s voice is heard off camera. Artie turns his head, no doubt looking directly at her and scowls a bit.

“That’s what I’m doing! You be quiet and let me do this on my own. It’s my match anyway!”

Bobbie can be heard grumbling in response and Artie turns back to look into the camera. He lets out a sigh and briefly shakes his head.

“Anyway. Sorry about that. Bobbie is just trying to be a little too helpful, which I understand, but I’ve gotta take care of this myself, right? I know it’s not my usual job in SCW. I mean, I’m Bobbie’s manager slash valet. That’s about all I’ve been good for because I’m not exactly the wrestler type. I’m not an athletic type at all honestly. But the contracts for the Blast From The Past tournament were updated this year I guess. I didn’t look at them properly and next thing I know, I’m a participant in the tournament.”

He pauses for a moment and scratches his head. The tournament had been almost his sole focus over the last several weeks, when he wasn’t doing his managerial duties for Bobbie. He shrugs before he continues.

“Bobbie has been pretty upset with Christian Underwood for not allowing me out of this tournament, and I get it. I get both sides, really. It was an honest mistake, and Christian should understand that. But I also get that Christian is looking at this as a way to draw some attention to the tournament also. Because who wouldn’t watch when you have someone who has never wrestled competing and possibly making a fool of themselves, right? Get a few laughs at my expense just because.”

He closes his eyes and sighs again. Anyone else would be upset, but not Artie. He is literally shrugging it off as best as he can, trying to make the most of it.

“But as nervous as I am about all of this, a part of me is also…excited. Why would I be excited at the thought of getting my butt kicked and embarrassed? Well, it’s not really about that. I’m more excited at quite the opposite happening, because what if I prove everyone wrong? What if I go out there and actually hold my own pretty well? What if I actually fight and win this whole dang tournament? What if I actually get a World Heavyweight Championship shot after all of this?! Think about it!”

The excitement actually starts to increase in his voice the more he speaks. He briefly looks off camera to Bobbie, shushing her before she can even speak, before he looks back to the camera, smiling.

“I’m not saying it will happen, but we all know that it could! Anything is possible. I mean I could actually win the World Heavyweight Championship! ME! I know it’s a long shot, but I’m trying to think positive here. These last several weeks training have not been easy, and I’m trying to make the most of it. But I know that there are three other people in this match that I need to think about. One more than the other two, so I will save him for last.”

His expression suddenly falls a bit, knowing that the man he will have to face this week is a Raab. He sets any nervousness he has aside for the moment.

“So I’ve been teamed with Kallie Reznik for this tournament. I’m not completely familiar with her, because she’s fairly newer to SCW and Bobbie hasn’t even faced her…yet. But from what I have seen and heard, she’s pretty decent! Our team may not exactly have the odds in our favor for obvious reasons, but I think we stand a pretty good chance. As long as we work together. I mean, that is what this is about, right? A tag team tournament. Team work! It makes the dream work, people!”

Artie smiles and gives two thumbs up into the camera. Bobbie can be heard chuckling off camera, and Artie does his best to ignore her for now.

”As long as Kallie and I can work together and trust one another, we can get through this tournament. I may not know her personally yet, but I trust her and I am going to promise her that I will do everything that I can to help us win. I will do my part the best I can. I mean I’ve been training my butt off these last few weeks trying to get prepared, and I think it’s actually working! Look! A muscle!”

Artie pulls his arm up into the camera to make a muscle, and indeed a slight one does appear. Bobbie can be heard laughing again, and Artie shushes her yet again. Inside joke, perhaps.

”I don’t think Kallie has anything to worry about, either. I mean, this week she has to focus on Bea Barnhardt of all people. I don’t think it could get any easier for her than Bea Barnhardt. Am I right, Bobbie? It shouldn’t be that hard for Kallie going against Bea, right?!”

”Oh NOW you want me to say something? Nuh uh! You can handle this all by yourself, sweetie!”

Artie frowns, but he knows he deserved that one. He shrugs again and looks back into the camera.

”I’ll take that as a yes. Bobbie has faced Bea a couple times before and come out on the winning end, so I have complete faith that Kallie will handle Bea just fine and get the win for us…if I can’t anyway. So I guess that brings me to the guy I will actually be facing this week, huh? Someone who has a history in SCW, too. A guy named…Konrad Raab.”

Artie gulps nervously. He didn’t have to do research to be nervous just saying the name. Or the last name at least. The Raab’s were well known in the wrestling business, so naturally Artie knew what he was up against.

“I don’t need to go and watch any of Konrad’s last matches or anything, because I know full well what to expect from him. His last name says it all! The Raab’s are big guys. Tough opponents. Can be kinda vicious. Maybe I’m thinking about Lord Raab, or whatever his name was. The monster dude? I dunno. My point is the same. The Raabs are well known in the wrestling world, so the fact that I’m going up against one in the very first round has me a little…nervous. Who wouldn’t be, right?”

He scratches his head again, trying to think of what to say next before he takes in a deep breath.

“I guess this guy likes fire…a lot. He even earned his nickname for it. Kinda scary thought, but luckily if he tries any of that stuff in this match, he’d get his team disqualified, so I guess I shouldn’t be that nervous! I think that of anyone opponents in this tournament, I’m kinda glad we got Konrad’s team first. Just to get them out of the way and then it could get easier from there!”

”Again, not how it works, sweetie!”

Artie closes his eyes and avoids looking in Bobbie’s direction. He’s making a mental note that should he and Kallie advance this week, next time he would record his promo while Bobbie was somewhere else.

”You all know what I meant by that, so just ignore my nosey wife as she is trying to be helpful again. So anyway, yeah. I think getting Konrad Raab about of the way first is the way to do it. And I think I’m ready. If I can have training sessions with a guy like Fenris and still be sitting here today talking to all of you, I can handle Konrad Raab in the ring, right?!”

Bobbie can be heard laughing off camera. Artie just remains focused as best he can, though his nostrils flare a bit.

”Earlier I promised Kallie that I would do my part in this tournament, and I intend to stick to that promise. I know she is probably nervous to, having me for a partner and all, but I’ll do what needs to be done to get her to the World Bombshell Championship opportunity. Konrad may be bigger. He may be a lot more experienced and dangerous, but I think once I step into that ring, the adrenaline boost will work in my favor. I’m pretty quick, so that is working in my favor, too! I’ll find a weakness to use against him. I’ll take him down and prove to everyone that I can get the win for me and Kallie! I’ll show all of you!”

He tries to look as serious as he can into the camera, not wanting to give Konrad anything to use against him.

“Everyone is expecting me to be the joke of the entire tournament, and that’s fine. I get it. Laugh all you want, but when it’s all said and done? I’m gonna surprise all of you! I’m going to go out there, fight like hell and make it all the way to the finals where Kallie and I WILL win. And you know what?”

He leans in closer to the camera, smiling.

”You’re looking at a future World Heavyweight Champion! Uh-huh! I said it!”

“Not if Peter and I have anything to say about it!”

Artie’s eyes widen and he glares at Bobbie off camera. His hand reaches up to the top of the laptop.

“You’re supposed to be a supportive wife, ya know!”

Artie quickly closes the laptop, ending the recording, before their debate can be recorded any further.

Jamie: I can honestly say that despite what I would call something of a nightmarish upbringing, I have been blessed in life. Or rather, I became blessed in life. Simply because I wasn’t satisfied with where I was in life and decided for myself that I was going to do something about it rather than wallow in a perpetual state of self pity. Granted, the road that I forged had a lot of detours and I guess you might say unorthodox routes, but I have never looked back on the choices I made in how I got here with regret.

Most men and women who decided that becoming a professional wrestler was their dream made the decision to find the best wrestling school taught by a credible wrestler. Me? As soon as I turned eighteen and moved out of Lima, Ohio to Los Angeles, I got hired on as a worker for Can-Am. What’s that you ask? ‘What is Can-Am?’ Well cover your children’s ears to all you parents out there because Can-Am is, quite simply, is a video production company that features oil wrestling, pro wrestling (sort of), bondage wrestling and – yes, sex wrestling. More often than not, if you ‘lost’ the match, you won out in the end. If you get my meaning?

Anyway, that was where I developed a taste for wrestling - pun intended, and I made a legit go of it. I was trained properly and the first place to take a chance on a former wrestling porn star was, you guessed it, Sin City Wrestling.

A most uncharacteristically shy Jamie Dean enters the dressing room shared by the male roster members who were not currently champions. He felt heads turn and eyes stare, a given if the rumors about locker room gossip were true. And evidently he would have been somewhat known before his official debut had even taken place.

Though he had little need for the butterflies to be showing, because one of the more prominent superstars on the roster, none other than his opponent for that evening, Ben Jordan himself, stood up from his assigned spot on the benches in front of his locker. Ben crossed the threshold of the locker room and offered up his hand in a welcoming gesture.

Ben: You Jamie?

To which Jamie nodded, somewhat at a loss for words until his scintillating wit took over and he was able to nod, accepting Ben’s hand for the good natured greeting.

Jamie: Yeah.

See? Scintillating! Ben smiled, recognizing the signs of a nervous rookie. He placed a company hand on the young man's shoulder and let him over to his assigned station, which conveniently was right beside his own. Ben had taken the initiative to keep the newcomer closed so he had at least one means of support in the locker room. At least until bell time that is!

02/23/2014 - San Francisco War Memorial
w/ Vixen v Ben Jordan and Song

Jamie had been advised by some of those responsible for his professional training that if he should find himself in trouble inside of the ring, grab a handful. It became a credo that made Jamie’s matches so entertaining, even when he wasn’t having a hard time (pun intended) against a specific someone. And considering who he was up against at his first time in the so-called rodeo, Jamie had no problems following through with his instructions. However, Ben Jordan quickly showcased he wasn’t just ‘someone’. And he wasn’t one for allowing himself to become the butt of someone’s mind games.

Jamie grabbed a handful - or two - during his time inside of the ring with Ben when the Bombshells Vixen and Song weren’t stealing the show. But the tactics that would have rattled any ordinary man had little to no effect on Ben. Ben simply turned around and took the fight to Jamie in more ways than one.

Jamie: It’s ironic that my first match in SCW was over seven years ago and like my return, a part of the Blast From the Past. It’s strangely poetic, I would like to think. Granted, I would have liked to have debuted with a win but when you’re up against two legit stars like Song and Ben Jordan, even the combined might of a Grand Slam winner like Vixen and yours truly (I kid!) couldn’t offer up much in the way of resistance. Or at least I couldn't.

Ben pulled no punches when it came to his craft inside of the ring, and he showed me that welcoming me aside, he was doing everything he could to put me on my back. And while I never thought I would say this outright, I tried everything to keep from having that man pin me down. Bright side? While Ben pretty much manhandled me from start to finish and I have no shame in admitting that, at least I have the small satisfaction to say I didn’t get beat in my debut, even if I didn’t win. Make much sense? Still, this goes out to the Cockney King as I know he’s watching. Allow me to say my friend that it was a pleasure working under you.”

Jamie winks at the camera with the corner up his lip turned upright.

Jamie: I can’t thank Mark and Christian enough for being so accommodating to me during my tenure with them, and I can’t thank everyone in the locker rooms for being so accepting to someone who had to have been considered an outsider. Not just because of my past but because I was, I think, one of the first openly gay men in the locker rooms. And now? Now we’re EVERYWHERE!

Jamie swept his arms out wide, then looked thoughtful and considerate.

Jamie: I wonder if it’s catching? Could all the Bible thumpers and rednecks be right?

Jamie then closed his eyes and shook his head.

Jamie: Best not to dwell on it or else it might back up and come out in more embarrassing ways. What I would rather say is that I’ve been blessed to have had my share of success stories in wrestling. And while that singles championship has always remained elusive toward me, I wouldn’t have traded places with anyone because the championships that I did get to enjoy? I got to do so with one of my closest friends at my side.

04/10/2016 - Phoenix, Arizona
Blaze of Glory V

Only three short weeks ago, Ben had vacated the championships rather than keep the titles and hand one-half of the shared championship to someone who had not legitimately won it. So he handed both titles over, and then on a whim, contacted Jamie Dean to see if he would be interested in teaming with him for a chance at the vacated championships, facing Lord Raab and Samuel McPherson.

Jamie had not been as active as the other three men over the course of many weeks, and to some so-called wrestling experts, it showed. It was a titanic clash between both teams and while Ben handled himself admirably against Both Raab and Samuel, Jamie admittedly had some degree of difficulty separating himself from his fun loving moments in order to take things more seriously against such sinister opponents.

Still, Ben’s coaching and encouragement prevailed…

Jamie Dean stood on the top of the near corner and he flew off with a picture perfect 450 splash on top of the masked McPherson, sitting on his chest and hooking a leg for the three count as Ben kept Lord Raab from breaking up the pin!

Jamie: Why Ben chose me to be his tag team partner is still a mystery to me and his only answer when I questioned him about it was ‘I needed a partner and you needed an opportunity.’

Jamie shrugged with a smile.

Jamie: That’s Ben Jordan for you! The man who gave me the welcoming I needed and the push that I wanted. And his management getting us booked on Lip Synch Battle will forever be a memory I will cherish. However, after Ben and I dropped the championships to the Members of the Elders, our journey wasn’t finished. And I’m not just talking about our time together as a team.

03/19/2017 - Stockton, California
Blaze of Glory VI

A battle royal for the tag team titles was almost unheard of at the time, but this match featured five teams in a hard fought, over the top rope eliminations match to see whom would walk out of Stockton with the gold around their waists! Many were shocked when the reigning champions at the time, Jet City, were the first team to be eliminated. And as the teams slowly dwindled one by one, it soon became a rematch from the previous year’s event between Team BJ (Ben never did fully endorse that team name) and the Monstimals! Ben and Samuel McPherson both fell over the top rope at almost the same time, but fate would be in the corner of Ben and Jamie. McPherson hit the floor first, and Ben practically fell on top of him after.

The decision was clear!

Justin’s voice called over the sound system of the Alex G. Spanos Center, igniting the capacity crowd as he called aloud, “And NEWWW World Tag Team Champions!!! “The Cockney King” Ben Jordan! Jamie Dean! Team BJ!!!”

The crowd had become electrified from an already intense and exciting match - a Battle Royal featuring Jet City, along with fellow challengers the Monstimals, the Elders and the Unholy Alliance.

The referee handed the gold and jewel encrusted championship belts over to the brand new titleholders and raised their arms in victory while the other teams already eliminated looked on with contempt and disappointment.

Jamie: A lot of people asked me what my fondest memories were during my time in SCW. My friendship with Amy is right up there, as is my teaming with Ben. But there was something else during that time that happened that was and is, near and dear to my heart that rises above everything else. And I have Ben to thank for it.

Oasis - Los Angeles, California

From the outside, this nightclub geared toward teenagers was a safe haven that kept the younger generation from wandering the streets, chasing trouble and tragedy. But at the heart of it, Oasis was so much more.

It was a charity run organization that benefited and supported homeless teens of the LGBTQ community. On a whole other level of the building, was a shelter where sometimes over twenty five LGBTQ teenagers remained safe. They were given a place to sleep, food that was not from a soup kitchen or garbage can, and perhaps most importantly, the chance to go back to school where they could make something of themselves.

Jamie: If it hadn’t been for Ben, there would have been no Oasis. There would have been no safe shelter for so many kids that have come and gone from those walls, who depended on and benefited from the kindness of strangers. That first night where Oasis first opened, twenty three teenagers, both boys and girls, walked in and were given hope. Close friends such as Amy and Samantha Marlowe and Master Lily lent a hand bringing in supplies and simply lending their ears to children who had nobody else. You can’t thank someone enough for giving kids in need the gift of hope where previously they had none.

Jamie sniffed back and hurriedly wiped the back of his hand across his eyes, trying to play it cool but his emotions were obvious and not in a bad way. He smiled with genuine affection.

Jamie: Together, Ben and I held the tag team gold for over ten months combined. I think the last time that we dropped the titles hurt the most because I knew he and I’s time as a tag team was nearing an end. He had plans of his own and he was trying everything possible to get me to devote more time to chasing after the World Heavyweight title.

Jamie chuckled, running a hand along his chin.

Jamie: I think I was my own worst critic while Ben was probably my biggest supporter. I challenged for the title once, and only once. I won the right to face J2H and I’m not ashamed to admit the former “Brat Prince” humbled me. I’m not too proud to admit he showed me why he was the best then and the best now, but I am proud enough to admit the loss left a sour taste in my mouth. When Ben was pushing for me to keep trying for the brass ring, I confided to him that there was something else that I had to do.

Ben’s exact words to me were, “I’m not getting through to you, am I?”

I admit, that made me feel like I somehow did him wrong, even though I know it’s not true. Ben Jordan just had that much faith in me and he didn’t want to see it go to waste. But when he found out what else I had in mind, why I was set to take a break, I’d like to think that I had changed his mind.

“Jamie Dean…”

It was three years later when his name was called to the front of the class, and the dean presented Jamie with what he had worked so hard toward; a Masters degree in Social work therapy. Jamie had felt he had his fun in the sun. It was time to devote his life and pursuits towards others who needed him. And while the kids at Oasis were always welcome to talk to him about any troubles, earning this Masters made him feel he could do the kids that depended on Ben and himself even more good.

Oasis - Los Angeles, California -
Current

The hour was after eleven and the lively activity of the Teen Nightclub/Homeless shelter known aptly and appropriately as Oasis, had slowly calmed down until closing due to the city-wide curfew for minors. Now, all of the kids housed safely behind closed doors were tucked away in their beds, sleeping soundly. Some worn out by their studies, others by earning a bit of their own living by helping out with cleanup in the club just downstairs. For now, all lights were out save for the one lone desktop lamp that was lit in the office of Oasis, and there seated behind the desk and staring into the flickering lights of the laptop before him, was none other than Jamie Dean himself.

His eyes spoke volumes to just how tired he was and how much he wanted to slip into the peaceful oblivion of a night’s slumber, but there always seemed to be something else that he could be working on. And so intent was he on scrolling through a recent email from one of the newest benefactors to Oasis that he did not hear the approach until the rap of knuckles on the office door’s frame startled him, almost causing him to fall from his chair.

Jamie: Jesus…!

And it was one of his closest friends and supporters of many years, Sandra Greene, that stood at the door with a bemused smile on her face. Sandra and her wife Kathy had been solid in Jamie’s corner from the moment they had first met when Sandra and Jamie worked together at AKBAR; Jamie as a bartender and Sandra as security. Sandra was what many would call the physical stereotype of the ‘butch lesbian’. Close cropped dark hair that was just beginning to be peppered with wisps of silver. A solid and somewhat full figured physical stature, a testament as to her effectiveness when she worked as security and now as one of Oasis’s most trusted employees.

Carrying her trademark cigar in her fingers that remained unlit after a health scare many moons ago, Sandra looked around the office with a frown.

Sandra: The kids are all sleeping and everything downstairs has been locked up.

Jamie: Thanks, Sandra.

Jamie said almost absent mindedly as his eyes returned to the screen. Sandra took a step further inside of the office and shook her head. She would have rolled her eyes as well had she not swatted countless people upside of the head for showing her the very same level of juvenile disrespect.

Sandra: What are you still doing here? You should have headed home two hours ago.

Jamie: There was still some work that I needed to do.

Sandra: Sweetpea…

The fact that she was using his pet nickname that she and Kathy had both bestowed upon him years ago. She reached across his desk and gently but firmly closed the laptop.

Sandra: Come with me.

And she said it as more of an order than a request, and Jamie had to struggle against every instinct to respond with “Yes, Ma.” The nickname everyone at AKBAR had given Sandra because of her motherly nature and how she took care of practically everyone. Sandra guided Jamie out of the office and downstairs, and once downstairs they set foot just outside of the main entrance to Oasis. The two friends took this brief moment to enjoy the late night’s pleasure, the cool wind that would soon in the coming months be warm and muggy. The late night traffic that cascaded along the busy LA streets. The building they stood before was not in the absolute best of neighborhoods but it was safer than most. The police regularly patrolled the area and Jamie made certain that they had paid security on the premises 24/7. All the better to ensure the safety of the children under his and Ben’s care. Once the moment’s enjoyment wore off, that was when Ma came into play. She turned to Jamie and shook her cigar at him.

Sandra: Where you’re concerned, there’s always going to be more work you think you have to shoulder the burden for. Well, you don’t. You have had enough of a support group helping you, helping these kids, that you can loosen the grip on the steering wheel every now and then.

Jamie: I know, it’s just…

Sandra: Just what? Ben has been coming here more often after that little chat you two had. You trust him, don’t you?

Jamie: Of course I do.

Sandra: And me?

Jamie looked eyes with this woman who he had been so close to over the years. Who had been a loving guide and shoulder to cry on when needed. Moments passed and his smile was genuine.

Jamie: Of course I do, Ma. I wouldn’t trust anyone more to protect these kids.

Sandra nodded, mollified.

Sandra: Good, I’m glad we got that cleared up. Although you could have answered that a little quicker.

Jamie snorted back a laugh but the smile remained, and he soon found his friend’s hand on his cheek.

Sandra: You haven’t taken a day off from this place since you and Ben opened it. Even when Ben takes his turn at the wheel, you find a reason to be here too.

To which Jamie shrugged.

Jamie: He’s one of my best friends. Is it so wrong to want to spend time with him?

Sandra: Not at all… if that was the only reason you lurk about. Whether it’s Ben or myself, you have a hard time letting go because you want to make sure there’s nobody to blame but yourself should anything go south.

She poked him in the chest with the tip of her cigar.

Sandra: Well nothing is going to go bad, Sweetpea. You’ve taken care of these kids for so many years, it’s time you took care of yourself. And you start doing that by leaving here, now, going home and getting some sleep so you can make your flight in the morning.

Jamie: Ma…

Sandra: Don’t you ‘Ma’ me! The kids are looking forward to seeing you wrestle for the first time! Kathy is looking forward to seeing you in the ring again and… yeah. So am I.

When you were close friends, no further words needed to be expressed. Jamie quickly found himself enveloped by Sandra in a tight embrace, one of which he was only too happy to return in kind.

Jamie: You always look out for me, don’t you?

Sandra: Well, someone has to.

The hug soon ended and the two separated. Sandra then pointed toward the door with her cigar and spoke like she would brook no argument.

Sandra: Now go. Get your keys and get going. Or else I’ll put you into a helicopter spin myself!

Jamie: Not to be difficult but it’s called an airplane spin.

Sandra then made to deliver a quick kick to Jamie’s backside as he hightailed it for the door!

“Jesus take the wheel!”

“You know, when I first contacted the SCW offices about signing up for this year’s Blast From the Past tournament, I didn’t tell anyone. Not Ben, not Sam - not even that sultry little minx bestie of mine, and yes I am talking about you, Amy Santino! I kept everything hush hush because I wanted to just surprise everyone - and it worked! I can’t even begin to tell you how everyone reacted after my name was announced. First there was Ben…”

Cut to a scene of Ben backstage, swatting Jamie upside of the head.

“Then there was Sammi…”

Cut to Sammi walking up and swatting Jamie upside the head.

“And of course, Amy…”

Amy grabs Jamie by the nip and gives it a sharp twist, sending the poor Tyrannosaurus Sex to his knees.

“I’m having a difficult time processing the fact that I have not been in the ring for the better part of seven years. Not since 2017 and my World title match against J2H. And now here we are, going to Normandy and what I have to consider a full circle event on the horizon. Because how appropriate is it that my first match was an opening round match in the 2014 Blast From the Past tournament, and now here I am! Making my soon to be triumphant return in… you guessed it! An opening round match in this year’s Blast From the Past! That first year I had Vixen as my partner, and this time I have Shay Owens watching my back while I’m fixing to do some harm to the twat who’s been turning the life of one of my closest friends into a veritable freaking nightmare!”

“Now I admit that I am somewhat out of the loop, but I know enough to know that Alexandra Calaway is one bad ass chick and chances are that she’s going to be the driving force behind her team. I mean, she’s teamed with a guy who has a great big yellow streak running down his back and enough conspiracy theories coursing through his noodle head brain to make him a Youtube sensation! Alexander doesn’t have Loony Luna in his corner so he’s hoping Alexandra will be able to do for him what Loony Luna has been unable to do… and that’s get him past those veritable roadblocks that always seem to be jumping in his way whenever he’s involved in a mixed tag team event. And while Alexandra is one bad ass chick who’s held more than her share of gold and bled some Bombshells dry, I have enough faith in my own partner to pull me through. Shay can take care of Alexandra. My only concern is you, Alexander.”

Jamie leaned forward into the camera, his usual happy go lucky demeanor quickly eclipsed with a more serious personae.

“Tell me something, Alexander. You’re such a big fan of conspiracy theories and all of that rubbish, how’s this for size? The man who is close friends with Ben Jordan … is your first round opponent! The man who you attacked from behind like a grade school coward, all to get under Ben’s skin before things got truly heated between the two of you… if your first round opponent! Now tell me something, Alexander! How’s that for a coincidence??? Or…”

He cocked his head to the side in wonder and curiosity.

“Was it a coincidence? Was it truly luck of the draw or are you going to try and drill it into the heads of everyone watching that the powers that be - namely Mark Ward and Christian Underwood - have it in for you so they wanted to sic a former two-time Tag Team Champion against you? I mean, you’ve been accusing everyone from the bosses to the color commentators of having it out for you in one way or another, so really! Is my being your first opponent in this year’s tournament really that far fetched, or was it preordained?”

He righted his noggin and tapped a forefinger against the side of his head.

“It’s something for you to think about while you’re looking back all those months ago when you first attacked Ben Jordan and asking yourself, ‘Was it all really worth it?’. Because while the fact remains that I haven’t been an active competitor for the better part of six years, give or take a few months, I’ve been in the ring with some of SCW’s most dangerous men at the time. Men like Dmitri and ‘the Mental Rapist’ Sean Jackson! Men who would have you looking into the nearest mirror and second guessing your decisions in life!”

“No more words need to be spoken, Alexander. This isn’t about beating your team and advancing to the Quarter-Finals with Shay. Although the expressions of disappointment will certainly be icing on the proverbial cake! This isn’t even about getting payback for you jumping me. No. This is about righting a wrong. This is about the support of a friendship, a brotherhood! And I’ll understand if that confuses you.”

“It’s not like you have any friends.”

Climax Control Roleplays / KALLIE REZNIK & ARTIE ARE LOSERS
« Last post by Andrew on Today at 06:29:32 PM »
KALLIE REZNIK AND ARTIE ARE LOSERS

Narrator:  I had call with Bea Barnhart before I came on camera to give my opening comments. Wow! Bea is extremely fired up to be in the Blast From The Past Tournament. One of the reasons is that her husband, Bill Barnhart, along with his partner Roux, won their match and moved up in the Tournament. With that said I will turn you over to Bea Barnhart who is at the event center which has been set up in Normandy, France, where Sin city Wrestling is holding Climax Control 392.

The scene shifts and we get a shot of Bea Barnhart, along with her husband Bill Barnhart, and both are sitting on beach chairs in Normandy, France, where some of the main action during World War II took place. Bea is relaxing in a nicely fitting, and revealing, bikini, while Bill decided to wear a regular loose fitting shorts type of swimsuit, along with a tee shirt and flip flops. The camera person informs Bea they are live broadcasting.

COMMENTS ON HARPER MASON

Bea:  I wish to thank everyone who has tuned in today to listen to my comments on my Blast From The Past Tournament match at Climax Control 392. Before I go into comments concerning my Blast From The Past team, with my partner Konrad Raab, and our opponents who are Kallie Reznik and Artie, I want to address something that was said about me at Climax Control 391.

Bill:  Considering what she said about you I am sure you have some nice things to say about her.

Bea:  Nice and sarcastic my comments will be. Harper Mason. The self-entitled little brat. So you decided to grab a mic and get in front of the camera at Climax Control 391. Seems you are still upset over your loss to me at Climax Control 373 on September 24, 2023. What the hell did you think would happen when you signed up to wrestle in Sin City Wrestling? Did you think you would automatically win every match? You came in with high expectations and when you faced me I beat some reality into you. You have to learn to take your losses in the wrestling ring as you accept your wins. Trying to blame me for your loss to me is idiotic and moronic. You failed to get the win because you could not defeat me one-on-one. Then you even rambled on stating you were hoping the drawing of Blast From The Past teams would get your team facing me and Konrad Raab. Sorry you did not get your dream draw to face us. For sure me and Konrad will defeat Kallie Reznik and Artie but also for sure is that your team consisting of you and Lyle Kasey will lose to Diamond Steele and Jayden Harris. Try to prove me wrong if you dare.

Bill:  Nicely stated Bea.

OPENING COMMENTS ON BEA’S BLAST FROM THE PAST MATCH

Bea:  Oh, trust me, there is a hell of a lot more nicely stated stuff by me coming. Okay Kallie I will start with the normal information of how we measure up against each other. I am 5 feet 5 inches and 130 pounds and you are 5 feet 6 inches and 128 pounds. As far as height and weight goes we are even. But when it comes to wrestling abilities and wrestling record I far out-shine you. I am a submission specialist and for damn sure I want to make you submit in this match so that you will learn you are well out of your comfort zone when you are in the ring with wrestlers like me.

Bill:  You go Bea!

Bea:  Kallie you are teamed with Artie. Now follow me in my comments for a moment so you will understand why having Artie as your partner in the Blast From The Past Tournament will result in your team losing to my team. Why would I say that? I am being extremely honest when I tell you there is only one wrestler on the Sin City Wrestling Roster who sucks more than Artie does and that is The Troll. I guess I can give Artie credit that he doesn’t suck as much as The Troll does but they are both trying to earn the honor of the wrestler who sucks the most in the wrestling ring.

Bill:  That is a hell of a burn Bea! I think the burn from your comments can reach all the way to the end of our Solar System.

Bea:  Kallie I will give you more information to prove to you how doomed you are in being drawn to face me and Konrad Raab. I am an accomplished wrestler and I love to make opponents submit for the win. While you are teamed with a drag chute of a team member I am teamed with Konrad Raab. I had an amazing conversation with Konrad Raab recently. He explained to me his distinguished auto racing career in many of the main racing promotions. Konrad has always been successful in the sport of racing. Konrad is also an extremely accomplished wrestler. Unfortunately he, like me and Bill, had numerous experiences of jealous wrestlers harassing him, threatening him, or attacking him backstage. I am happy to announce that Konrad is coming into our Blast From The Past match with a win on his mind which is also my mindset. Although I have not previously worked with Konrad in the sport of wrestling I can tell you that Bill has worked in several wrestling federations where Konrad Raab also worked. From what Bill told me of the wrestling talent and abilities in the wrestling ring Konrad possesses. . .well. . .your team has no choice but to lose this match to our team.

Bea informs the camera person that she will make closing comments then they can cut their camera feed. The camera person acknowledges what Bea stated and then Bea launches into her closing comments.

CLOSING COMMENTS

Bea:  Kallie I wish to ask you to do something for me. Actually two somethings for me. First I want you to go find Violet Amelia Holt. I defeated her SIX times in SIX matches with FIVE of those victories by submission. Ask her how damn tough I am. I dare you! Then go and talk to the little whiner Harper Mason. Ask her how easy it was for me to defeat her. At least she is easier to find than Violet Amelia Holt since Harper is active in Sin City Wrestling and I guess Violet went into retirement.

Bea flashes a huge grin into the camera.

Bea:  So, Kallie, regardless of what you think of me here are some words that describe me so that you will not have to assume what you think I am as I am giving you the facts of who and what I am. Here is my list from A to Z. I am Amazing. . .Brilliant. . .Cunning. . .Deadly. . .Evil. . .Frightening. . .Gorgeous. . .Happy. . .Intelligent. . .Justly. . .Kind. . .Lovely. . .Mean. . .Novel. . .Optimistic. . .Pretty. . .Queenly. . .Rash. . .Stunning. . .Trouble. . .Unwavering. . .Violent. . .Wonderful. . .Xtra. . .Young. . . and Zoom! You, Kallie, are not half what I am. But do not be jealous of me. Not everyone in the world can be a BEA BARNHART.

Bea laughs loudly into the camera then she continues her closing comments.

Bea:  I honestly want to win our Blast From The Past Tournament match by making you submit like I did to Violet Amelia Holt. However with the overwhelming advantage Konrad Raab has over Artie the more expected end to our match is likely to be Konrad pinning Artie or making Artie submit. Only a short time remaining before Sunday, May 5, 2024 for our Blast From The Past Tournament match.

Bea informs the camera person that she is done with her comments and the camera person cuts their camera feed and our screen goes dark.

Climax Control Roleplays / Blast to the future
« Last post by Goth on Today at 06:25:09 PM »
The shot opens at a Athletics track where we see a woman running around as the sun is slowly riing from the east as the sky and clouds have that beautiful colour that comes along with a sunset. The woman has her hair in a pony tail, listening to some music as she has earbuds inside her ears as sweat is pouring from her face. She passes the finish line as we see a man clicking on his stopwatch and writes down the time as the woman keeps running another round around the athletic track.

Her gaze is focused upon the track, not allowing anything to distract her. She slowly lifts her left arm towards her face, wiping off some off the sweat from her head by the sweat band on hr wrist before deciding to speeds up halfway until she steps across the finish line for the final time as she lowers her speed before slowly walking around a circle before reaching the man who hands her the bottle of water that she gladly accepts before taking a deep swig.

“That last lap was amazing, just a few tenths above your pr Mel.”

The man says with his dark voice, she silently nods her head before splashing the water across her face. Her breathing is heavy as the thought of her missing these workouts pops inside her head. She slowly turns her gaze towards the man that had not only stole her love, but also has brought into the sports world that is pro wrestling. A world that she knew nowadays people sign up for a wrestling school in the hope of passing a training regiment that would separate the best from the pretenders. But that wasn’t the way that she wanted to go through, not wanting to dish on the wrestling schools. But for Melissa she wanted to endure pain, she wanted to endure suffering in a fashion that her husband had gone through as he had to scrap for money to survive.

“Yeah I know, I feel amazing.”

She smiles before taking a final sip from the bottle of water before turning her head towards the sunset, admiring the sun as she has always enjoyed being the first on the track. She feels Goth placing her towel across her shoulders as he grabs their things while walking over towards the locker room while talking towards Melissa about her next preparation while she pretends to listen to him but has her thoughts drift off to the period of time that she had been in his corner in the hope for him securing his dream to win the world title for a final time.

She looks over towards him, admiring the enthusiasm upon his face and movement as he is using his hands to explain something to her. Making her ask herself whether he truly has come to terms with his retirement, or just trying to dive into something new in order for him to forge the pain he must have been feeling after his last match.

She had to admit that she had felt guilt towards him, guilt for the realization that she knew that if he retired that she would come back again with him on her side. A guilt for the mere fact that even though she had promised him that she would be patient to return, but deep down inside she wanted to come back sooner than later. Wondering whether she was truly upset that he had walked off into the sunset to never return, because the desire to break skulls like she did to her opponents during her run as Bombshell Roulette champion. A period in her career that she had referred to as exciting as her wedding that she had with Goth on the same show where she won the Bombshell Roulette title for the very first time.

“Melissa??”

She looks up, noticing that Goth was staring at her smilingly while having opened the door to the locker room while noticing that she wasn’t paying attention.

“Oh, right… thanks babe.”

She blushes for a moment before giving him a soft kiss on the cheek before stepping through the doorway and entering it before Goth closes the door still smirking. She looks around the locker room, noticing that she is all alone as she lets out a sigh of relief while slowly slipping out of her clothes. She slowly walks over towards the shower room as she turns on the warm water and stands there, waiting for the temperature to turn to how she would like it. Letting out a gasp of relief as she feels the water splash upon her face and body as she pulls the elastic out of her hair and feels it fall down upon her shoulders before running her hands through the now wet hair. She feels every muscle react to the hot water before slowly relaxes as she lets her thoughts wonders off to her PPV debut at Summer XXXTreme. The night where she was facing established wrestlers who at that moment had all won championships all across the world and were the favourites to win that title over the unexperienced rookie.

Mentally she laughs as the words of unexperienced rookie runs through her mind, granted she was a rookie when it came down to wrestling experiences. Beating a naïve nobody in her in ring debut, beating Mercedes Vargas as well while starting a war with the Bombshell Roulette title glory hog Jessy Salco and her idiotic friends.

“Oh God, why is that skank popping inside my head??”

She lets out a groan, she could not deny the fact that her feuds from the past has been popping inside her head while having dreams at night. Remembering the bloodshed that she had, the several gruelling matches that she had with Ariana Angelos, the three matches that she considered that it was the start of people recognizing her as a threat with Salco. Even remembering the match she had taken the Bombshell Internet’s championship in a triple threat match. The same woman whose number she seemed to have in several matches until her final match, where Melissa had gotten injured and never returned towards the ring until now….

Of course there was that one moment where she had made her presence felt in a match of Goth in a different promotion to aid her husband to beat the man that broke his arm and shoulder. A moment where he had gotten the revenge upon a man that many considered would have been the biggest start in the annals of many companies. Yet Goth managed to prove him wrong

A moment that she had to admit had send chills down her spine, having heard the cheers from the fans. The many messages of fans, asking her when she would return. Questions that she could not answer, yet it had brought that desire back to return.

She leans against the shower wall for a few mo
“What a great moment it was to kick Amber Mansley’s face in.”

She says with a big time smirk upon her face as she grabs the bottle of shower gel and starts to soap her body before letting the water wash it  off again. Letting out a sigh as she leans back, allowing the water to splash across her body as she slowly turns her hands into fists.

She starts to remember the anger building inside her body, the anger that she felt back then for not only having lost the title that she only won not so long ago. But the anger for her was mostly for the mere fact that she could not return to the ring for over a year due to the injury and the promise that she had given him to stand in his corner. Realiing how badly she had started to miss it to compete inside the ring, how she had missed dominating her opponents like she had done in the majority of her matches. Having missed the whispers of the people from the back as well from the fans on social media, who had started to ask themselves how long it would take for her to clinch the Bombshell World Title. A thought she herself has had several times in her young career, the confidence that she oozed in and outside the ring was what put her ahead in any match before it even started.

“And now the world will know that I am back…”

She says while grinding her teeth as she tenses the muscles in her arms as the water continues to splash across her entire body. She feels overjoyed with he notion that her opportunity has finally come as she has entered herself into the Blast From The Past tournament, a tournament that she entered last year and left after the first round. Not the end result that she had hoped for, yet the time that she had shared with Chronic Chris Page had taught her something that she would be taking with her into this years tournament. She lets her muscles relax as she reopens her hands and moves them towards the shampoo before starting to wash her hair. The few moments that she was washing her hair made her release all the thoughts that she was having about her past, because it was just that the past.

“I’m ready to move forward”

She whispers, the excitement has grown with every passing moment since she had seen her name posted upon the card for this coming Climax Control. She rinses out the shower gel out of her hair before finally turning off the hot water as she slowly turns around and reaches forward to grab a towel to wrap it around her head before grabbing another as she places it around her body after drying her body for a few moments. She steps out of the bathroom into her bedroom, opening the closet as she reaches forward to some clothing while sporting a big smile upon her face as she realizes that her in ring return is nearing.

“It’s time for me to remind the world who Melissa truly is….”

She says with a smile upon her face as the shot fades.

A new beginning

“What a way to make my return”

Says a smirking Melissa, who is seated in the airplane that brings her and her husband Goth to the next city where Sin City Will compete for the next Climax Control. She has her legs crossed in a relaxing fashion while having her arms crossed across her chest. Her hair is tied up in a knot as she gives a wink towards the camera as it slowly zooms in on her.

“I bet people have been wondering why it has taken so long for me to return, but that’s because all of you have such a short memory span that it is obvious that I didn’t out of respect for my husband. To grant him the opportunity for a final spotlight upon his impressive career. And now that it is over I am going to cement mine, to have an opportunity to turn heads in this years Blast From The Past.”

She rolls her eyes as she takes a sip from a glass of water that was in beside her, staring at the LED screen in front of her as she is watching her final match that she had where she lost her Internet championship and injured herself. A bitter memory that has kept her awake for many nights, a painful memory that she had shared with her husband as it was the first time that they shared the painful experience together. The memory causes her to lower her head for a moment as she grinds her teeth, remembering the one question that popped in her head during rehabilitation.

“It has been a painful year.”

She says as her jawline tightens while swallowing her anger, her hands grip across the armrests of the seat that she sits in. She remains staring at her feet, not wanting to exchange looks with the camera she knew has come closer towards her.

“It humbled me to a point where I wasn’t sure whether I would ever return to in ring competition, that caused me to look at things through a different perspective. Making me realize that I am far from being the invincible bitch that enjoyed kicking in the cranium of those who I believed weren’t worth my time and energy.”

The remark causes her to chuckle as she slightly lifts up her face, causing her eyes to stare through some of her blonde hair that had fallen in front of her face. Her eyes are burning holes into camera as she remains quiet for several moments.

“The mere realization that once that bell rings it could be a whole new beginning, or merely the beginning of the end just like one year ago. Making you understand that the careers of each and everyone in this industry could end just like that.”

She snaps her fingers, emphasising her statement while not even blinking her eyes as she continues to stare into the camera in front of her. The camera pans out, showing the black shirt that she is wearing that reads: “Melissa, The Lady Goth” as her breathing causing her chest to heave up and down in an intense way. She drops her left hand back upon the arm rest as both of her hands dig deep into the fabric before stretching her legs.

“I believed I was on top of the world, not caring who I stepped foot inside the ring with. Reputations didn’t matter to me, because I had the confidence that I could knock each and everyone of your heads off your shoulders before you could even blink with your eyes. I guess realization has caught up with me huh??”

She smirks as she suddenly punches in the air as that causes the camera to move away from her, she slowly sits upwards in her seat before grabbing the glass of water and holds it in front of her fface.

“I guess it must be true, that once you got hooked into the game of wrestling that you are addicted to it. Something that I thought that I was above that notion, but once you have reached that point in your life that you have to watch idly by while others do the one thing that you love the most??? It starts to eat you up inside.”

She scowls after referring how she must have felt throughout the majority of the year, unable to compete for championships and wins the way she was used to.

“And then that moment comes, the moment that you had wished it would have been prolonged to indefinitely as you cheer on your man in his quest for that one final championship belt. That one goal in life that he now has to consider to be a failure. Oh yeah, I’m telling you like it is, because for you all that past three years must have been amazing right?? Well that shows how stupid and ignorant you really are, all the lesser belts fail in comparison to the world heavyweight championship belt. The one thing that he lived for, the one thing that he had been preparing for since that faithful night that he beat Mark Cross in that non-title match.”

The look on her face slowly darkens after mentioning the name of Mark “The Dragon” Cross. The one man that is one half of the mixed tag team that stands in the way of her and her mixed tag team partner for the Blast From The Past Tournament.

“How fitting is it that you stand and Eiley stand in my way to advance to the next round Mark? How fitting is it that I can look you in the eyes while you stand upon the apron, getting that feeling inside of my guts from what it must have been for my husband all those years ago. How irony protects your fucked up face knowing that I cannot attack you due to the rules of this match. And yet it does not change the fact that I want to look you in the eyes and sniff up every inch of whatever it is that made you a wrestling legend.”

The gaze upon her face remains cool and collective, there is a twitch underneath her right eye that causes her to get annoyed after a few moments as she puts the glass of water towards her lips and empties it in one swift move.

“I know you have been in this tournament before, almost a guaranteed bet to reach the finals. A man that has garnered the services of former Mixed Tag Team Champion in Eiley. A woman that I have yet to have stood in front of inside the barriers that is the six sided ring. A woman that I can honestly has dominated the ring in her own way just like I have, quite a drawing that Mark and Christian has picked out of all the possible drawings that laid out there in front of them. A certified Main Event at the tournament finals… And yet, one team has to go home disappointed. Who is it going to be?? Part timer Mark and his tag team partner?? Or the woman that has vowed to compete in every single show, who will not forget the allure of what the fans tend to bring to arena’s every single week and cheer us on. Or will it be the returning dominatrix of pro wrestling and her tag team partner that is just as hungry to carve out a name for himself in this company that we all know as Sin City Wrestling. You be the judge.”

\
She closes her eyes for a moment, trying to contain her breathing as she lets out a low sigh before reopening her eyes as she continues to stare into the camera while remaining silent. We see her suddenly look up towards her husband, who has taken a seat beside her as she has placed her hand upon the one nearest to hers before turning her attention back to the camera.

“Don’t worry about him though, I do not need the Gothic One to hype up this or any of my coming matches. Because it’s quite simple, I am in it because I want to get that shot for the Bombshell world championship. The one statement that I know that won’t knock any of you from your seats in amazement. Because that’s why every single team was created, because there were enough people that had the guts to step into the unknown because nothing can stop us… Right Eiley??”

She smirks as she looks over towards her husband before nodding her head as she watches him get up again and walk away as he is about to get them something to drink.

“Eiley and Melissa, two young talented women that have held gold. You in the Mixed tag team division and me as Bombshell Roulette Champion and Internet champ. Two women that have been trained by Hall of Fame legends, tow women that proclaim to have that killer instinct. Two women that believe that none of the others deserve to be champion right?? Or is it perhaps that you wish to step out of the shadows of Mikah and not only repeat what she has done…. But want to do it better?? That you want to prove to the world that you are better than the legendary Mikah?? I hope you do not think that I want to do this because I want to walk into the shadows of my husband. Because if you are going to utter something as remarkable and stupid in the same time, then I guess I just have to drive a knee down your throat in the hopes of hearing tubular bells play Christmas songs in the beginning of fucking May.”

“I love the man that has done the unthinkable over and over again in this or any other company throughout his 20 plus year career. But this is my moment, this is where I need to be. I do not see myself and my career to be a dedication to someone else’s career. A career that is now over, a career that has been washed away by many as if they swallowed a glass of Dom Perignon as if it was a cheap coke. You see Eiley, I took the name of Lady Goth not because I want to step into HIS footsteps and become an exact copy. Oh no, I want to remind the Bombshell division that I will take everything to a whole new level. I am the Lady Goth, because there is nobody out there that can do the things that I can. There is nobody out there that wants to be like me, because all you bitches out there can talk a good game, to differentiate yourselves from everyone else… And yet nobody has the desire to take that step that I am going to be taking.”

“I bet you think it does not make sense right???”

She smirks, placing her hands in front of her while staring at the camera. She looks towards the small window beside her, causing her to see nothing but clouds and occasionally some ocean water as they are heading towards their destination.

“Not everything in life needs to be logical, nothing in life is a given that one day you will stand in front of the portal that allows you to step into the Garden of Eden. I already know exactly what you two will be thinking, two established names in the pro wrestling world that has graced us with another gift from God by gracing themselves in the presence of those who aren’t worthy right?? Do me a favour you two delusional fools. You have to realize that I stand in your way, a hungry woman that wasn’t allowed to wrestle for over a year. A woman that has heard the rumblings in the locker rooms of those who remember when I rang their bells… Remember me little bitches??”

She gives a wink towards the camera as a reminder that she has not forgotten the wars that she had fought and overcame all of them.

“And I know that you aren’t upon the level of one Ariana Angelos, Jessie Salco or even the legendary Mercedes Vargas…. It is a shame that two of the new blood has to come face to face in the first round isn’t it?? Because let’s quite face it Eiley. There isn’t any on the Bombshell or Male roster that can live up to our expectations. Expectations of one day ruling the Sin city Wrestling Bombshell Division with an iron fist. Because we do not take the crap that each and every overrated…”

She takes a deep sigh, forcing herself not to go overboard with another curse before continuing her rant.

“Pro wrestler that to this very day I cannot understand that people are actually willing to pay money to see perform in a fashion that is quite embarrassing. And by God, the mere fact that you and I need to face each other in the first round with our well respected tag team partners is just an embarrassment and a reason to critique the workings of this company in more ways than one.”

“But there’s nothing I can do to alter destiny besides sharpening my wrestling boots before I measure the distance between me kicking it off your shoulders. Not because I am one dumb bimbo that thinks that it sounds cool, but I want to take that weight from your shoulders as you aren’t quite ready to step out of the shadows of your Hall of Fame example.”

She pauses, lifts her fingers up towards her mouth in a pyramid shape way as she stares into the camera with a dark glow coming over her face.

“I’m not saying this because it is being expected from me Eiley, I’m not saying this because perhaps deep down inside I may be very insecure. Oh no, I’m saying this because you have been having to rely upon someone else to uphold HIS end of the deal. Is that what you are seeing from a man that is certified to guarantee you a main event spot in the tournament finals?? Because I have learned to rely upon myself since day one, hell even before I was honoured to meet the man of my dreams when he was a drunk psychopath. Rolling around in his own vomit while screaming out promises as long as he could take a sip from whatever he could find. I have been one that has ben capable to put the weight of an entire world upon my shoulders and dive into the deep end in order to grab hold of whatever fling of hope that is left. “

“You and Mark Cross are the biggest pieces of crap that I have ever seen being put together, ego’s that probably will cause more casualties to end up in a hospital than reality ever set in. me and Aiden Reynolds are the outsiders looking in. Me and Aiden are the ones that people tend to overlook, even if the anticipation of two young and up and coming future hall of fame Bombshells will go at it for the very first time. Because that for some reason will not make me a destined winner in this tournament is it??”

“Go ahead and think that way, assume that all that you will touch will turn into gold. Because I do not want to be considered to be that way Eiley, I want to be the one that takes away any hope and dreams of those who want to step up to knock me off my plate to secure that one thing. A Bombshell World Title match against whomever the champ may be. Because I have a dream, I have a dream that one day I will wake up and that everyone will look forward to see Mark Cross enter the 2025 Blast From The Past Tournament in the hope to draw another number one pick as his partner. To wake up to have people already having forgotten that excited opportunity for a first impression that the two of us will have. Because after this match there will be only one impression left in the minds of those who have witnessed a confrontation of what could have been. Only to have turned into the one that ultimately advances to the next round in favour over the certified winners of Mark “The Dragon” Cross…. And Eiley… Being the team of the Melissa and    Aiden Reynolds….”

The intensity upon her face grows before the shot ends as we see Goth return with a drink for the both of them.

Jet City South
April 24th
San Diego, California

Things were booming within Jet City South in San Diego, California. Kate Steele had a wicked grin on her face as she watched her sister Sapphire locking up with fellow bandmate Emerald. The two women were locking up with one another and it was apparent that Sapphire was among something special. She wasn’t alone as Courtney Pierce walked over and stood next to Kate. The two smiled in return as Courtney couldn’t help but make a comment.

“Wow Sapphire is really good at wrestling. I didn’t expect her to be so quick and such a natural in the ring…”

Kate chuckles in return as she looks at Sapphire bouncing all over the ring. Before one could even blink Sapphire was already taking it to the top of the turnbuckles and flipping off of them to land a diving cross body right on top of Emerald. Kate looks back at Courtney as she replies back to her.

“Most siblings tend to want to be better than their older sister. Granted I didn’t even know that Phoebe was my sister until I found out the truth about my biological parents. I feel like there’s a lot of things that I didn’t know about my life but honestly it all makes sense. When I first met Phoebe I just saw her as the annoying brat who tried to deprive me of my favourite cousin Ruby. I appreciate she was looking out for her little half-sister Ruby, however who would have thought that Sapphire and I would share the same father and in the end we would be the ones that are really connected…”

Diamond laughs some more as she looks back at Courtney.

“It’s crazy to look at it all now. Sapphire and I have always bickered and argued with one another. We would appear to anybody like enemies but even back in the beginning I could see how we were bickering siblings. I will admit she’s a better musician then me. She knows how to shred on the guitar and that’s from learning so much at the Guildhall School of Music in London. I wish I was the woman she was but I have to admit she is the future and she is going to be better than me at the same stuff I do…”

Courtney takes it in as she looks at the older woman.

“And how does this make you feel?!”

Kate thinks about it as she lets out a sigh of relief.

“Honestly… It brings a smile to my face. I am happy she has as much drive as she does. When I established the Gem Stones it was to appease the vision of Ruby but it seems to have taken on so much more than that. It has connected a true family and it has given Phoebe a place in this world where she could shine…Believe it or not I have already had people asking about Phoebe and what it would take to break her off from the band so she could have her solo career…”

Courtney nods her head as she looks back at the English woman.

“And what did you tell those people?!”

“Honestly… I will admit I was jealous because if anybody should have the solo career it should be me but as I tried to do the solo thing I just realized it was never my calling. I need people. I am nothing without them. As much as I would love to break away from family, it’s that same family that are helping me shine like the Diamond they know I can be…”

Courtney smiles.

“I can relate. I just want the best for Roux as well, and I will have her back if she needed it…What about the future married life or should I say reconnecting and remarrying Dawn how does that make you feel?!”

Kate laughs as she looks over at one of her long time students.

“And how did it make you feel when Ruby first came to this school, and you had Mikah and Kris forcing you two to work together?!”

Courtney rolls her eyes as she looks back at the petite purple haired beauty.

“Annoyed. Prudence was very annoying. She just kept screaming out the world outrageous over and over again. I hated being involved in anything that included Ruby… That was until the two of us actually fell in love with one another and got married. I would do anything for that spunky woman. She is everything to me. I knew it the moment we met even if I wanted to resist it at first…”

Kate smirks in return as she looks right into Courtney’s eyes.

“That’s how I feel about Dawn. She is my everything and truth be told I am afraid. I am afraid of hurting her. I am afraid of losing her again. I don’t ever want to be in a position where I wake up and she’s not right next to me. I would lose my mind if that ever happened but right now it just seems to be like I am all over the place and it’s hard to figure out what I want to do and how exactly do I fit this woman into my life…”

Courtney giggles as she looks back at Kate as she is unable to contain her laughter.

“I figured as much…”

“And what exactly did you figure?!”

“Nothing much. Just that you are all over the place and don’t know what to do. What else would one expect but from a Steele. The reason why I can say that is because I married one. Truthfully I was in the same boat as you were in. I didn’t know what to do with Prudence and our conflicting schedules. She was busy being here and God knows where, and I was off doing my own thing being the SCW World Champion… It was difficult…”

Diamond crosses her arms.

“I FIND THAT HARD TO BELIEVE… How is being a World Champion difficult?! Well that is aside from being a constant target and having people constantly try to gun you down…”

“It’s because I was away from my wife. The deeper you get involved in a relationship the more you will see that your significant other should take precedence over everything else… Wrestling was starting to bore me. That is until Ruby decided to be my manager. It was amazing having her at ringside cheering me on and in some cases helping me win. She took that Internet Championship reign and made it worthwhile and those are days that I won’t ever forget…”

Diamond slowly nods her head.

“I see… So maybe that should be something I should consider when it comes to Dawn Lohan…”

“It definitely wouldn’t hurt. You need to be focused though. I have been watching your career as of lately. You been fumbling things up a bit lately whether it’s been in FFW, in Zion, and now that you got this huge opportunity in SCW you better make sure you show up for the Blast from the Past. You are wrestling under the Jet City banner and it would look embarrassing that Ruby, myself, and Mikah have won the thing but you haven’t yet. What are you going to do about it?!”

Diamond finally forms a serious expression as she gives a confident response.

“I am going to win… I am going to win this damn tournament and I am going to finally start taking my career into my own hands. As soon as it’s time for Jayden and I to dance we are going to dance right into the finals, and afterwards I am going to win that SCW World Bombshell Championship and put it firmly around my waist…”

“Good because you have a lot of people looking up to you, so you better make sure you come up clutch. Following my lead would be a good start…”

“You may have had the better career in SCW and I will give you that much. I could perhaps learn how to be a better athlete from you but in the same way I know you could learn how to be a better sibling from me…”

“Touche…”

Courtney keeps her eyes as she spots Ruby walking towards them in the distance before she looks back at Kate.

“Fair point Kate, just put on a show that will have Jet City South smiling…”

“Don’t worry, I am willing the entire tournament, I guarantee that much. If I don’t win as Ruby would say it would be…. OUTRAGOUES….”

With that Ruby finally makes it over to where the two of them are standing. They all just stare at one another as we leave this image.

For Better or worse
Happy Wife happy life?!
Kokomo Private Island Resort
April 29th

It had been three days since Kate Steele had married Dawn Lohan. The marriage was already off to a rocky start as Diamond seemed to be more involved and interested in the world of the National Football League’s draft instead of really spending time with her new wife Dawn. The marriage was going to be doomed from the start if it wasn’t for Kate’s close acquaintance Robbyn Helmsley offering to send the newlywed’s to Kokomo Private Island Resort in Fiji. Now the two were able to have their honeymoon and have private time to themselves. It was a hot and sunny day in Fiji as Kate and Dawn decided to go for a swim together in the pool. Kate smirked as she splashed some water about as she turned her attention over to her newlywed.

“This is the life isn’t it?! It feels so good to just relax in the sun and not have a care about anything else in the world…”

Dawn just swam beside Diamond but didn’t really bother to look over at her. The “wonderful” woman just sighed as she looked over at Kate and rolled her eyes at her.

“Aren’t you going to say something?!”

Diamond thinks about it for a few moments as she her eyes meet with that of her wife’s. There was a bit of tension as they just kept their gazes upon one another.

“What is it that you want me to say exactly?! I know… This is the first time that we have been in a pool together since the FFW pool party. You know the day where you shoved me into the pool! You ruined my beautiful megaphone and you put your hands on me. It was wrong Dawn…”

Dawn looks at the woman as the two of them just stare at one another but Dawn snaps back at Kate.

“And you do know why I pushed you right, or should I have to spell it out for you… You had upset me Kate. I was happy being married to you. You were my entire world. You were everything to me. When I asked for an annulment it’s because I wanted you to realize that you had a made a mistake when you tried to cheat on me. I was hoping you felt remorse and would really try to work things out. That was never your first instinct though. Instead you were quick to just move on without me. I saw you going on a date with that girl Marcia and it’s as if our relationship didn’t mean anything…”

Kate turns her attention to her wife as a sigh escapes her.

“Didn’t mean anything?! Of course our marriage meant everything. I will be the first to admit that I am not the most stable of individuals, that something that has always been consistent about me going all the way back to when I first moved to the United States at 12 years old. I wanted us to work. I gave up being with someone I truly loved in Stoyo because I felt our connection from the very first day. The reason why I didn’t really try to fight is because I just felt in my heart that you didn’t want anything to do with me. Why should I have fought for somebody that already had it in their mind that I was the worst person ever?!”

Kate shows even more emotion as a look of frustration escapes her lips.

“Plus on top of that your family was verbally attacking me. I was the worst person in the world to Abigail and many others. It’s always the story of my life and I felt a trigger, it’s the same trigger that I had always felt whether it was getting kick out of wrestling school or being sent to a psychiatric hospital for being suicidal and dealing with low self-esteem.”

Dawn thinks about it as she looks over at her wife.

“I really didn’t know you had dealt with that type of stuff…”

Kate nods her head.

“There is a lot I guess you don’t know but I haven’t always been the most stable of people. I remember being in a very abusive band where the lead singer would put his hands on me because I didn’t do things right as a rhythm guitarist. A few years ago I really didn’t know how to deal with Teddy abusing me among other things. I know everybody thinks that little Kate Steele is the evilest person in the entire world but I have dealt with my share of stuff… When it comes to you I love you… I love you with everything. Maybe I should have expressed it more so instead of being all over the place. When I saw you flirting with Shaw… I lost it. I knew I wanted you and I needed you. You were always my go to…”

Dawn looks into her wife’s eyes as she tries to explain herself.

“Listen… I thought I wanted her too but I think that was just my way of trying to get your attention. I just wanted to be noticed. I just wanted you to realize that anything in life you could rely on me for. I am your wife and I will always have your back…”

Kate swims closer to Dawn until Kate gently runs her hands through Dawn’s hair. She slowly grabs Dawn’s hand gently and speaks to her.

“Maybe we both should have done things differently. Honestly I wish I could have changed how last year went down. When you were calling for an annulment I had just found out that my entire life had been a lie. Who I thought were my parents were really my uncle and my aunt, and it just adds to the entire idea that since birth I felt like I wasn’t wanted. My biological father was a piece of shit and a murderer and as far as my mother is concerned…”

Dawn puts a single finger over Kate’s mouth as she looks even further into her eyes.

“Just because someone didn’t give birth to you doesn’t make them any less of being your parents. As far as I am concerned they are your parents because they raised you and that’s all that should matter. Who cares if you felt like your biological parents weren’t the end all be all. What looked to be a curse ends up to be a big blessing because now you have a whole bunch of siblings. You have a network of new family that really cares for you. Whatever it is that you are going through it’s not as bad as it seems. Life isn’t that bad especially when you let people in that want to help you.”

Dawn wraps her arms around Kate as a smile escapes her lips.

“I know you been through so much but Kath-Lyn Steele-Lohan. I love you. You are everything to me and I just want to feel the same appreciation in return…”

Kate thinks about it as she draws closer to the woman. Their lips touch as they begin to passionately kiss in the middle of the pool.

“I do feel the same… I want to always show you my love. It’s just sometimes I often let other things get in the way and I really don’t mean it… I have never meant it. I want to stay focused solely on you…”

Dawn kisses Kate again as she smiles at her.

“As far as all of these friends you want to hold onto. The people such as River and the Queens of Chaos that are openly telling you to kiss their ass! Stop trying to force friendships that you don’t need. If they don’t want you to be in their life, you certainly don’t need them in yours. Just focus on what you currently have and focus on how you can make those relationships even better. You have me, you have your daughter, you have your sisters, you have Jet City South, and you have Robbyn. That’s all you really need. Stop trying to be an open door of emotions and giving everybody a chance to hurt you! They don’t deserve you because they don’t respect you…”

Kate nods her head.

“I feel the same way… Let’s just do it together. You and me versus the world…”

Dawn smiles in return.

“That’s how it should have always been. The two of us taking on whoever gets in our way… The Lohans showing what type of power couple they are…”

Kate smiles as she just can’t keep her hands off of Dawn.

“I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have you in my life… Do we want to pick this up somewhere else?! I know the hot tub would be a pretty good place for us to speak some more…”

Dawn giggles in return as she grabs Kate’s hand.

“Actually I was thinking about our suite… It is our honeymoon after all…”

With that Kate just nods in return as Dawn leads her out of the pool. The two get dried off as they eventually make their way back to the privacy of their hotel room so they could enjoy their second marriage together.

On Camera

Everything comes into focus and as it does we are treated to the sight of Diamond Steele. Her eyes are locked in a trance as she has a sadistic smirk upon her lips. She moves her hair about as she looks right into the lens of the camera.

“Bloody hell it has been quite some time hasn’t it?! As a matter of fact if you listened to Mercedes Vargas little primer the last time I was inside of an SCW ring was in November 22nd or 2022. That’s like a year and a half. I will say that it was embarrassing that my last appearance in a ring was getting demolished by Melissa and after that I would fade away into who knows what. Guess what?! You have another thing coming if you thought that was going to be the last you would see of me. I have so much built up frustration to let go and SCW seems like the perfect place where I can honestly let all of it go…

I know I could have returned at any possible time but I felt that the Blast from the Past was the perfect place to do so. It was the perfect place to assume my rightful place and that is at the very top of the card and at the forefront of the division. I know people could be quick to talk about the different various wrestling schools in this company. So many preach about the infamous GO Gym or they may talk up Hero Academy or even preach about Wolfslair but in my eyes Jet City will always be the focal point at least in the bombshells division. Although when you look at how Kris Ryans has dominated the division, how Mikah is the end all be all to ever walk on the bombshell roster, and of course how women such as Courtney and Ruby Pierce could just waltz in and dominate the Blast from the Past tournaments in their rookie years could you really deny what I have to say?!”

Diamond just shakes her head as she smiles bigger than before.

“That would be a negative… I plan to continue onward with carving out the greatness of that legacy and I will add my name to being one of the greats. Hell scratch what I said because we all know that’s a bunch of bollocks. I am great. I am already a two-time Roulette Champion, two-time Internet Champion which by the way I had the longest reign and combined reign until the woman who beat me for that title went on to shatter my reign. I am a former Mixed Tag Team Champion. I have done all there is to do in this company. I won everything but the one thing that I haven’t managed to do is win the big one and that’s my reason for being in this tournament. I don’t give a bloody hell about friends, I don’t care about the competition. I am here for me and me alone, and I will do whatever it takes to get on top which means going through every single person in this damn tournament…”

Diamond claps her hands together before she rolls her eyes and makes an expression of not being impressed.

“Honestly I thought the company was ready to roll out the big red carpet for its biggest rock star. I make my big long awaited return to the SCW ring and the best the company could do or should I say random drawing for this tournament could give me was sorry ass Harper Mason?! Are we serious?! I know this match marks a Kasey being in the ring, it marks me teaming up with Jayden, and honestly as much as I should be thrilled. What they do is on them. The only thing I can worry about is what will happen when I find my way into the ring. Standing on the other side of me is Harper Mason and this is a woman that is boring. I rather watch paint dry then having to hear her talk…

Not that her talking is any better because it’s just the same old shit. WE GET IT!!! WE F*&^&* GET IT! You are the little cousin of Jessie Salco. She is quick to remind her opponents that she isn’t her cousin so don’t go into matches thinking that she is a mini Salco. Yet it’s funny that if you look at her earliest of promos in this company she talks up that fact but for a woman who seems like she would want to get out of her cousin’s shadow you WOULD assume that she would talk up something else, but sadly she doesn’t have the brain capacity to do that…

But hey let’s give this wanker credit because she wants to stand on her own even if her promos constantly contradict what she wishes to portray. In the same token I listened to some of the poppycock that she spoke to Kallie about. Harper wanting to portray that she was so happy to be here but she questions how she is JESSIE’S COUSIN and YOUNGEST MEMBER ON THE ROSTER, but then wonders why people keep on calling her a rookie and not simply a bombshell…

Maybe just maybe if she actually stood out on her two feet without trying to use her cousin’s name to cuddle her she could be her own person but that thought doesn’t exist. Honestly there’s a lot that Harper could say that would make people actually respect her. She came from Hero Academy which means she was taught by Roxi and Keira Johnson. Two women who had poured out their all into SCW but sadly she doesn’t take after them…”

Diamond waves her hands about.

“NOT that being their protégé really matters at the end of the day I mean let’s not forget that Roxi wanted to become a Grand Slam Champion and she tried to target me and my Roulette Championship which I denied her of winning. Same way I managed to take a Roulette Championship off of Keira, and she tried to claim an Internet Championship off of me in her quest to become a Grand Slam champion but I also denied her…

To be honest the Johnsons really haven’t done that well against me so if I managed to beat the big time Hall of Famers that trained her what does that say for her?! As far as Jessie is concerned at one point we were good friends and I was a third member of the Punk and Metal. The friendship was good until I won the golden briefcase and Jessie being the title hungry and crazed woman hit me from behind my back and stole my briefcase…

She betrayed a friendship just to get ahead and in the end it didn’t go her any good because just like so many before her she fell to me she lost when it really mattered. So knowing that I pretty much shattered your whole entire world what are you really going to do when you have to step into the ring with me?! Clearly you are there to get outwrestled and I have bigger dreams. When I confronted Hot Stuff and told him I wanted to be an active roster member. It wasn’t to dwell in mediocrity. It wasn’t to sit around and deal with curtain jerks who want to get all giddy because they can ride a few winning streaks here and there…

It was simply to be the best and to make sure that my name is the only thing that matters. I am that Bitch and I am the one who is going to personally oust your team out of this tournament. I know it must be an exciting feeling to be here but my goals… Are more so my demands. I told myself I was going to be the best and now I actually have to back up what I say. Losing to you wasn’t on the cards nor is losing at any point in this tournament for that matter…”

Diamond angrily shakes her head as she begins to share more of her heart.

“I don’t want there to be any doubts in anybody’s mind on WHAT could have happened if Diamond didn’t leave. WHY did Diamond fall so far from grace? HOW is she that much of an embarrassment. That November match against Melissa is something that I will never forget but it’s time to silence all the haters once and for all. I am personally sending a major GO F*&* Yourself to all of those who felt I wasn’t good enough to be at the top of the show.

I am a main event star and every single week I am going to prove it in this company. I shattered the longest reign when I held the Roulette Championship the first time, I set the standard when I held the Internet Championship the second time, and me and my sorry ass excuse of an ex-husband beat my beloved JET CITY SOUTH to win the Mixed Tag Team Championships. I did everything I could possibly do except two things.

World Bombshell Championship and of course Hall of Fame…

After this return everybody will see what I am truly about and everybody will be forced to respect me. I remember being in this tournament a few years ago and making it all the way to the very end of the tournament but losing in the finals. It left me heartbroken because I knew that I would have to wait that much longer to get that title opportunity that I deserved…

But I am tired of all the waiting… I have done my share of that. It’s about time I just take what belongs to me and that is why I am vowing to not only decimate Harper in this first match but to keep on grinding. SCW you all better brace yourselves because this Siren has officially made her return to the active roster. I am indeed ready to deliver my beautiful Siren’s Song and once it concludes it will leave everybody Shipwrecked…

Get ready because this Diamond is going to shine brighter than anything you have ever seen before and she won’t stop until she gets what she wants. Climax Control I make my official return and I put all of the bombshell roster on notice…”

With that Diamond cracks a wicked grin as the camera fades out on that image.

Danger Date

Getting to know people was always hard for Aiden. I don’t mean learning people's names or seeing them on a day-to-day basis, I mean really knowing them. And letting them know him. Despite outward appearances, Aiden was more of an introvert than many people realized. I know hard to believe. After all, this is the same guy who would do a “shoey” and then a “nudie run” around a park.

And if those words don’t mean much to you then I don’t blame you. This is Australian slang and I’m not even sure I  know what it means.

But it was true Aiden didn’t let a lot of people in. He talked to everyone. He laughed with everyone. He joked with everyone but as far as letting people know who he was. The real him. Well, he could count those people on one hand. The reason was very simple. He was always unsure of himself. Unsure of the kind of man he wasn’t unsure of people would really like him if they knew him. So he put on the mask. The mask of a lovable goofball who is always cracking jokes and doing stupid things to get a rise out of people.

And for the most part, it worked.

Hayden would walk backstage and people would laugh. They would talk to him and smile. He became a very well-liked person and most people would say he was a valuable asset to a company. But deep inside he was scared. Scared that these people would get to know him and not like him. Scared that they would start to think that he was something he wasn’t. Or worse scared that they would find out he did have emotions and wasn’t just a goofball.

It was even worse when it came to dating. Well, Aiden was a good-looking man by most accounts, tall, well-built, Sandy blonde hair and a killer smile with dimples. Most women would love that combined with an Australian accent and the attitude that he had. But he wasn’t as outgoing as many people believed. In fact, he was scared around most women. He didn’t want to talk to them and make them think that he wasn’t interested. Or that he was. The opposite sex terrified him and that is something very sad when we all think about it.

Hell, even I think that’s sad and I just narrating this little bitch’s story.

But here he was, about to go on a date, another date, with a woman who really was something of a dream for him. Akari was like a Japanese princess. She was the daughter of what when he would consider the Emperor of wrestling in Japan. She was sweet, kind, beautiful, smart, funny, everything that he wanted.

But she was also forbidden fruit. A woman whose father could crush Aiden and his dreams and his career in the palm of his hand within seconds. That is something that would normally terrify Aiden, it would scare him away. But the connection they had was so strong and her story so sweet. Men never approached her, they were terrified too because of her father. And because of that she was lonely. They were both lonely.

And in each other, they found someone to laugh with, talk to, and enjoy spending time with. And how could that ever be wrong? But in the green scheme of things it was. Aiden was dating someone who was the daughter of the man who signed his paycheck, the man who could decide whether or not Aiden had a career in Japan or if he would be sent back home. And if rumors were to be believed, he could also decide whether or not Aiden lived or died.

He smiled awkwardly he moved his chopsticks around and told them getting noodles wrapped around them with a few pieces of pork before popping it into his mouth. Akari gave him an approving nod. ” You're getting better at that.

Aiden offered a small shrug and shook his head. ”Aye the amount of practice I’ve had to do is borderline insane.”

And he was right. Aiden had eaten every meal for the last two weeks which chopsticks. Even food that he didn’t need to. Just so he could practice for this date. The buffoon. ”I wouldn’t be offended if you ate with a fork…” She smiled, it was a kind smile that wasn’t filled with any type of condescending nature.

Aiden cleared his throat and shook his head. ”I know. Believe me, I do. I know that I can be myself around you. I haven’t questioned it. In fact, you’re probably the only person in this country who I can be myself around. I don’t get to know many people. It just doesn’t seem right. But with you it’s different.”

She blushed and looked down, twirling her noodles with one of the chopsticks. A small smile flashed on her pink sparkle-painted lips. ”I…feel the same way…” Aiden looked up, blinking a few times and tilting his head as Akari cleared her throat. ”I always have to act a certain way, be a certain way. Around my father, my mother, my friends. They all come from a world that is suffocating me….” She paused a moment and locked eyes with Aiden. The smile grew wider. ”With you I can breathe”

They both sat in silence. Feeling awkward about the conversation. Neither of them was particularly good at opening up and it showed. Surround them blissfully talked laughing in their own conversations and their own worlds. ”Well, that was heavy…”

”im sorry…”

”Nah don’t apologise love… he smiled, shooting her a happy-go-lucky grin. ”But I do have a question….” She looked up again, Aiden took a deep breath and sat back. He was dreading it but he has to ask. He had to know. ”Where is this goin'?”

Akari tilted her head and swallowed ”What do you mean?”

Aiden took a deep breath and leaned forward. His hands class went together as he balanced on his forearm and got close keeping his voice down. ”Look, I’m not the smartest guy around but I also ain’t dumb. What kind of future do we have if your father doesn’t know? Or approve?”

She bowed her head and pushed out a heavy breath. ”I’m not sure he would ever approve….to be honest I have been trying to not think about it…” Aidens demeanor changed. He sat back and looked down, avoiding eye contact as he went deep into thought. Akari realized it and moved her hand across the table, grabbing his. ”But I will fight for it….we will tell him…just…not now…” she smiled and Aiden was assured. It was a weight off his shoulders. But the weight of his shoulders couldn’t stop the dark cloud hanging over his head. He knew where this was going and it was not going to be good. But that’s a story for another time.

Blastin for a pastin

”Shit, was I drunk when I signed up for this? Because I don’t think I remember. I usually hate tournaments. You get a whole bunch of people together and expect them to go from match to match and it always ends up as a cluster. Of course, this tournament's even more of a cluster than normal. You take a man and a woman who have never met each other, or maybe they have an' just don’t like each other, and you place them together in a team, so they have to rely on each other. shit sounds like a chaotic idea to me. Truth Be Told kinda like it…..”

Aiden Reynolds, everyone’s favorite Aussie douchebag. Standing alone which for him is always an anomaly when it comes to cutting promos. See Aiden’s one of these people who likes to bounce ideas off of others. He likes to make sure everyone else sounds serious so he can say the most out-of-whack bullshit that will ever come out of someone’s mouth.

”Yeah it’s like…super cool…”

And just like that a wild Kallie appeared!!!.  She used super cute and it was super effective. Aiden blinked a few times and shook his head

”So, last time everyone saw me I was taken on that sexy piece of man beef Ben Jordan. The cockney king. And he and I had a great old tussle. Honestly, I can’t remember much about that match except for his piercing blue eyes and chisel jewel line that would make most 1950s leading men green with envy…”

Kallie made a face and slowly looked at Aiden.

”Should I be worried?”

Aiden scoffs and dismissively eaves his hand

”Nah, ya know I don’t swing that way. I can just appreciate some of the most subtle differences in the human form compared to different men. And Ben Jordan is a man amongst men. But I’m proud of the fact that I was able to step in the ring with him and I was able to take it to him in many different ways. He’s a former world champion and being able to say that I’ve been in the ring with him and he held my own. He’s a massive step forward when it comes to this company and my stock in it. Most people don’t really know the name Aiden Reynolds aside from one or two people who might have done their research.”

“The truth is, I’m not stupid. And I know that there are a lot of people who don’t even rate me when it comes to this tournament. Many probably didn’t think I was going to do too well against Ben. And I’d like to think I proved some people wrong. Shit, you know that most people think of me as just some goofy guy who smiles and makes inappropriate jokes.”

”You don’t really do a lot to display those myths. Besides some of it is actually true Aiden.”

”Oi, whose side are you on?”

Before Kallie can answer Aiden narrows his eyes and folds his arms over his chest

”Oi yeah nah I get it. You’re trying to play mind games with me. You think it’ll be easier for you and…what’s his name….Arsehole…”

”Artie!”

”Whatever…”

Kallie rolls her eyes and Aiden smirks with a wink

”The fact remains that you think it will be easier if you put me off my game. But it’s not gonna work. This tournament has a massive prize at the end of it. The winning team gets to not only etch their names in the history of this company but they also get to receive championship matches. Do you know how cool it would be just to simply jump to the head of the line and get to face Finn? Think about it. But then again if you want, you would have to face Kayla.”

“This tournament not only allows people to have a future in this company but also honors people of the past. I’m ready to do everything I can to win it. And as it gets closer, I’ve been looking at my partner and I can honestly say that I’m glad I’ve been put with a woman like Melissa.”

“I mean if I had me choice I’d rather team with you Kallie…”

“But, that isn’t how this works but Melissa or “lady goth” Is a beast in that ring. Former internet champion, a woman who has beaten our current world bombshells champion, and someone who looks like she is ready to take Egons head off..”

[color=hotpink”Eiley”[/color]

”Bless you…”

”No…her name is Eiley..”

”Yeah nah….no one gives a shit….without Oiley she’s nothing..”

”Ollie!”

”Yeah…that’s what I said…”

Kallie throws her hands in the air, exhausted.

”Either way Melissa is going to take her head clean off. I have complete and utter confidence in my partner. Especially considering who she will be facing in the match. However, what I’m not sure of is Me getting in the ring with Mark Cross. See he is also a former ECW world champion. Admittedly he isn't as good as say, Ben Jordan but he was definitely up there. He did everything he could to make his career something. but one thing I don’t like about Mark is that he seems to pop up, once in a while mainly for the blush and the past he shoots his shot comes back joins up, and does everything he can try and clawback his former  glory”

“Ya know what they call someone or something who randomly popped up at the most inopportune times? Herpes. Mark cross is like herpes.”

”OHMYGODAIDENYOUCAN’TSAYTHAT.”

Aiden smokes and shakes his head with a small shock. He can say that and he did say that. Callie hides her face as she chuckles trying not to laugh out loud.

”Look, I can respect Marky Mark’s accomplishments. I can sit here and know that he’s a tough bloke. I can also say that I understand being a former world champion gives you more leeway than most. The blast from the past is a strange concept because it encourages people who were in the company or from outside the company to come in and try and become world champion. And if I was Mark, I would want to try it as well. getting that form glory back. It’s one of those things that most dream about. If you have been a world champion and you take any time off, you are going to want to get it back.”

“But, what if Mark wins? Especially since he’s had success like it before. What if Mark Cross becomes the number-one contender for the championship? First thing he’s gonna have trouble beating Finn I know that for a fact but what if a miracle happens and Mark Cross becomes our world champion? What then? Are we going to have a world champion that actually turns up? Or is Mark going to take his ball and go home? That is what I worry about when it comes to this tournament. I don’t know what people's motivations are or what they plan to do.

“Will this be a new dawn for Mark Cross and his career in Sin City wrestling? Or is it going to be like his NFL career and fizzle out into nothing?”

“Cause me? I’m here for the long haul. I’m here to reignite my career after taking time off to be a Dad. I never left wrestling, I’m one of those people who likes to stick around in a company. Do everything I can before I leave. Hell, I stuck around in WW for a spell even after everyone told me that that company was a trash bag that was lit on fire thrown in the dumpster, and then dumped in a sewer. I still stayed.”

“Mark though? Mate, you are a great former well champion. You are someone who many could look up to because of your athletic acumen and the fact that you were a champion here. But aside from that what have you got going for you? You turn up every year for the blast from the past and hang around for a little while like a bad smell. While the rest of us work to make this company better and to keep making sure it rises to the heights that deserves to be sit back in your comfy little retirement chair and believe yourself to be untouchable. The problem with that mark is that the rest of us get pissed off over people like you.”

“Hell, I can respect someone coming into SCW from another company. A big name who is active everywhere else trying to come in to earn our world title. But a semi-retired opportunity chasing cuck? Nah mate…”

Aiden scoffs and shakes his head.

”I have held one world championship in my career. One. Numerous other smaller titles but that SCW world title would be the biggest prize. That is something I don’t have to tell you about. Do I mark? You are one of those names that has been able to hold that championship. Admittedly it wasn’t as long as some others. Admittedly you weren’t a particularly memorable champion. But you still got to hold it.”

“Your name is forever etched up there with men like Ben Jordan, Fenris, Alex Jones, Austin James Mercer, Jack Washington. And of course Finn Whelan. Your name is up there with them and you get to say that you held that championship. And you want it so bad that you are back here again to join the same tournament that you’ve been a part of before. The only problem mark, aside from the fact that your tag team partner is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine, is that you have to get in the ring with a new kind of star.”

“I’m in my physical prime. You look at the two of us and it’s quite clear that I’m the younger, faster, stronger, better wrestler. You’re out of practice and someone who only decides to come out of retirement when it suits him. I put in the work every single day.”

“And I have something even mortified for. I want to make sure that I can hold that championship and make sure my wife is proud of me, make sure my child grows up to know that his father was a world champion. I want that I need that, and I also want to get in the ring and test myself against Finn. so you’re the first hurdle. The first block in front of me. And if you think for one second that I’m gonna let some semi-retired old man coast on his name and get another shot of the championship that he doesn’t deserve? You’ve got another thing coming. you’re not a dragon you’re an earthworm and I’m about to stomp on you.”

Climax Control Roleplays / “Influencing the Division Part VI: AGAIN?!”
« Last post by Krystal Wolfe on May 02, 2024, 10:04:18 PM »
”How many times are they going to run back this match?

No seriously, do the bosses really have nothing better for Seleana to do than get her ass kicked by me again?! Hell, we’re wrestling under similar circumstances to when we fought in the middle of last year’s Blast from the Past Tournament, but at least then I had my feud with Tempest ahead of me!

I’m pretty sure they keep throwing this match together because they don’t like Seleana, wrestling her the first time around was an exciting prospect, I was looking for better competition for my Roulette Title Reign, I know that the next Climax Control (at the time) was taking place in Disney World, is there a better place to hold a Roulette Title Match? Granted that match also started my mini-feud with Char Kwan that many idiots use as evidence that my reign was a weak one but I’ve ranted enough about that for one lifetime!

Seleana’s in the same category as Mercedes, old, washed up and striving for relevance in a evolving Bombshell Division, and while Mercedes is dumb enough to pick fights with a certain Internet Champion that bench presses cars for fun, Seleana is facing me yet again.

And I’m going to beat her yet again!”

Krystal’s Hotel Room, Normandy, France
Monday the 29th of April 2024, 16:00pm

We see Krystal and Makayla unpacking their things after arriving at their hotel room in France, ready for the weak ahead and, more importantly for Krystal, her first match of the cycle.

”They really booked me against Seleana again.” Krystal muttered under her breath as she glanced over at her girlfriend. ”I know the early stages of the Blast from the Past Tournament has a tendency to really fuck with the booking plans for talent not booked for the tourney but was Seleana really the best name they could throw at me?!”

”I mean, you did decide against taking part this year, for the first time since joining SCW I might add.” Makayla responded as she shook her head and Krystal frowned. ”And frankly? I’m just glad that I don’t have sit out this tour because I’m not growing two babies in my womb this year!”

”You know I can point out that that was your idea right? You know, best birthday present you could give to your wife before that aged like milk several months later.” Krystal added as she packed away her stuff and Makayla sighed as she realized that Krystal had a point. ”As for the tournament, a girl can only be knocked out in the first round so many times before she gets sick of it.”

”Even though last year was your fault because of Tempest retaliating against you for the attack on Cass and Ariana.” Makayla reminded Krystal and the Aussie wrestler grunted in frustration. ”And don’t even get me started on those public workouts, remind me again how many lawsuits did the bosses have to settle out of court because you kept breaking young wrestlers’ arms or injuring them?”

”OKAY I GET IT! IT’S EASIER TO LIST THE NUMBER OF TIMES I DIDN’T DO FUCKED UP SHIT LAST YEAR!” Krystal snapped out of frustration and Makayla just look her head. ”Never mind that I was doing that shit to secure a better future for our daughters.”

”And we both know how THAT turned out, don’t we Charlotte?” Makayla asked pointedly as she sat down on a chair. ”Look, we’d be here all day arguing about everything you did this time last year, can we at least try to enjoy this trip, and the fact that the locations don’t seem as god damn random this time around? Seriously, Canada, Barbados, two nights in Scotland, Romania, and London? If I didn’t know better I’d say that Christian was picking those locations by throwing darts at a map!”

”If he did than his aim fucking sucks and that’s probably one of the many reasons why Mark doesn’t take him to the pub!” Krystal commented with a deadpan expression on her face before lying down in bed. ”Anyway, unless someone on the roster picks a fight with me for an excuse to get on the Into the Void Card this cycle should be a lot less eventful than last year’s Into the Void cycle.”

”I believe the words your looking for are “famous last words”.” Makayla shook her head with a chuckle and Krystal just rolled her eyes. ”Anyway, at least we got Cass and her girlfriends to babysit the twins, would’ve been awkward if they were still breastfeeding or weren’t potty trained.”

”Yeah, because they’ll be turning one in a couple of weeks.” Krystal in agreement before she sat up. ”Ever think about when Cara and Zosia get older and learn that babies aren’t made when two women have sex?”

”You mean when they inevitably ask about their biological dad? No, not really, and I wouldn’t have an answer anyway.” Makayla admitted as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”The clinic kept his identity secret as per policy, only thing I really know is that he’s around the same age as us, mostly because I didn’t want some old guy’s deposits in me.”

”What the hell has happened to this conversation?!” Krystal muttered under her breath getting a laugh out of Makayla. ”I’m going to check on Hayley and Kelly before this gets any weirder.”

”Probably a good call, I’ve gotta set up my laptop anyway.” Makayla nodded before Krystal left the hotel room.

(Krystal’s inner thoughts)

”You ever look at a Bombshell or Superstar and wonder why they have been around for as long as they have? The Barnharts, Mercedes, both good answers, but the one who’s relevant to me is the one from Sweden.

If you looked at Seleana today you’d hardly believe that she was a former Bombshell Roulette and World Bombshell Champion, but then you remember that it’s been five years since those reigns and they both have the same thing in common: they were awarded to her with help from her wife! Crystal cost Alicia the title only for Seleana to lose it again two weeks later, and the Bombshell Roulette Title Reign lasted longer but Seleana who it in a Fatal Four Way Match that was practically gift wrapped for her, why?

Because that match happened to be on Crystal’s Queen for a Day episode, and I’m reminded why my I’m glad my name is spelt with a K!

The truth is, left to her own devices without her wife watching hr back? She doesn’t have the killer instinct she once had, hence why she’s never held a title since, will she ever hold a title again?

Doubt it, the Bombshell division passed her by years ago.

Really?

”Sometimes I wonder if the bosses keep booking these rematches because they hate certain talents, Seleana definitely seems to be the case, doesn’t she?” Krystal asked as she folded her arms. ”The only thing she’s ever done of relevance are two title reigns that ended five years ago, for those struggling to do math, that was before the Covid-19 pandemic! And things haven’t really improved for her since then, so I ask you SCW Bosses: why?”

Seriously!

”Of all the Bombshells you could’ve booked me against, why Seleana? Yes I know it’s Blast from the Past Season and most of the roster is busy with that but four teams got eliminated last week and you’re seriously telling me that someone like Kat Jones has nothing better to do?” Krystal shakes her head. ”And much like her title reigns, I can pin-point the exact time and place when Seleana was last a fresh and exciting opponent for me: 2021, during my Roulette Title Reign, when I defended that thing at Disney World!”

Le sigh,

”Granted the site of our match this time is pretty different but then again can you really compare me vs. Seleana #1000 to the invasion of Normandy? No, you can’t, because one’s one of the most famous battles of WW2, the other is a tired and rehashed rematch against the only Swede on the roster!” Krystal added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”And really Sweden, is Seleana still the best wrestler you can offer the world at this point? Do you really want to be represented by the Bombshell Champions’ punching bag?!”

It’s that simple,

”Seleana’s current career would be funny if it weren’t so damn pathetic! But io guess an easy win is an easy win!” Krystal added as she folded her arms. ”And make no mistake Seleana, once I’m done with you I’ll set my sights on the bigger fish to fry in the Bombshell Division, Tempest may be busy with the other washed up has been of the Bombshell Division but does anyone really expect Mercedes to beat Tempest?!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up.

”Ha ha ha ha, no!” Krystal commented as she shook her head. ”But what isn’t in doubt is my win over you Seleana and at Influencing the Division Part VI: REALLY?! I’ll put you in your place again by kicking ass for the content!”

Krystal walked off as the scene fades.
