Giving Christmas to less fortunate souls

It's a mighty cold day in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada as Char Kwan, Aimee Saunders and Beverly Milsap are just pulling into the small parking lot of the Homeless mission. Aimee cuts the engine off as all three of them get out of the vehicle. Char opens the rear hatch as two big banana boxes full of food appear. Char grabs one banana box as Beverly grabs the other one. Aimee reaches into the backseat and pulls out a big white trash bag. She flings it over her shoulder as the three of them walk into the mission.

Sharon Loving, the general manager of the mission, greets them as they walk through the mission. Her eyes are welling with tears as she shows Char and Beverly where to put the boxes.

Sharon: Thank you, for doing this ladies.

Char and Beverly smile while giving Sharon a playful hand gesture.

Char: It's our pleasure to help these people have a holiday meal. We don't know what it is like to be without but we know these people deserve more than this.

Sharon smiles even wider.

Sharon: I am so grateful that two young women like you are willing to sacrifice their time for people who have falling on hard times.

Beverly starts unloading her box as she adds to what Char had said.

Beverly: I know what it's like to be in a situation like most of the people here. I once was homeless when my mom passed away from a long battle with anal cancer. It is rough but if it wasn't for people who gave me food. I wouldn't be where I am today.

A few tears trickle down Sharon's face as she leaves Char and Beverly so they can get everything set up. As she does this, she walks over to Aimee who has been emptying the contents from the trash bag. The bag had contained Christmas gifts in all shapes and sizes. Sharon couldn't believe it as Aimee leaned back up.

Sharon: What we got here?

Aimee smiles while running a hand through her jet black hair.

Aimee: Last time I was here, I saw this tree and thought it presents belonged underneath it. So my friends and I, went shopping and used all of our money to buy gifts for everyone who appears tonight for Christmas dinner.

Sharon: That is so sweet. I don't know how I can thank you girls for doing all of this.

Aimee smiles and flicks her wrist at Sharon.

Aimee: You don't have to do anything. Char, Bevy and myself wanted to do this ever since we saw how many homeless people were outside the Gold Casino.

As Aimee and Sharon are having a conversation, Char is fixing the stuffing while Beverly is cooking the baked beans. Reba Edwards, another volunteer, joins them with watching the Christmas ham. A few hours go by as the dinner is finished, a few pies are ready and the tables are all set up. Beads of sweat cling to Char's forehead as she looks at Beverly.

Char: Do you think the guys are having the same amount of fun as we are tonight?

Beverly: I don't know. I imagine they are really out of their element. It's going to be a miracle if they pull this off.

Char nods as the mission doors open. A multitude of homeless people enter the mission. Sharon informs them of the volunteers who have come to provide each of them with a hot meal. Aimee has took over the role of deejay as she is playing a variety of Christmas songs off her iPad. Char is serving up some stuffing on an elderly woman's plate when the woman looked closer.

Elderly woman: Are you Char Kwan?

Char has a toothy grin on her lips as she nods her head. The elderly woman smiles back while reaching her hand out towards Char.

Elderly Woman: My grandson is a big fan of yours. Unfortunately, I don't get to see him much since he lives in Japan with his mother.

Char notices the elderly woman's facial expression change to that of sadness as she walks around the food and kneels down to be eye level with the woman.

Char: My heart hurts for you. I know what it's like to live in Asia. I lived in South Korea during my childhood. It was certainly different than what most kids did here. What is your grandson's name?

Elderly Woman: Jeffry

Char smiles.

Char: The next time Jeffry is in town. I will leave two front tickets for you both. How does that sound?

The elderly woman smiles as tears run down her cheeks.

Elderly Woman: Bless you. My grandson would be thrilled.

Char gives the woman a soft hug as Beverly watches with a smile on her face. Char looks down at her watch as she nods toward Beverly. Beverly nods back as they ask Sharon for a quick break. Sharon looks at everyone eating and conversing before agreeing to their break. Char looks over at Aimee but she is in a deep game of mahjong as they slip out the back of the mission.

Char Kwan is standing a few steps down from the mission as Beverly checks over her phone to make sure it would hold up. Char looks with a slight grin as Beverly motions for Char to begin.

Char Kwan: I bet all of you are wondering where we are and why we are dressed up like Eskimos? That's because Beverly and I along with our friend Aimee are providing the homeless here in Las Vegas a holiday meal. I know it doesn't sound all that glamorous but we wanted to do it. I know everyone thinks I should be focusing on Amy Marshall and Jon Dough. Why? Why should just keep my focus on them when I have so many things on my mind?

I get it. Amy Marshall is a hall of Famer and has won so many championships. Those are very amazing accomplishments but I get the feeling she thinks she deserves more. She is like most of the bombshells in SCW. Amy believes she is entitled to everything just because she is a hall of Famer. I got a newsflash for ya Amy. Life doesn't work that way. You see no one has handed me a damn thing in my career. Every championship that I have won, I earned through hardwork and determination. All you have done is weasel your way into championship matches when you have done nothing to earn them.

This week, you are once again in a tag team match with Jon Dough. The last time you teamed up, you defeated the same team Jack and Bevy defeated. So I'm wondering was it truly skill or did you just get lucky. I know for Jack and Bevy it was a mixture of luck and skill that helped propelled us into the position we are in right now. We control our own fate. We get the opportunity to beat you then get some retribution against the Jordans.

I know we must get past you first and that will be an easy task since this time around you are facing the original line up. This week, you aren't facing Gamers Inc oh no. This week you get Nerd Inc. and I know you aren't ready for this kind of team. Jack and I have been teaming for years. We know each other like the back of our hand. We are comfortable with each other and we know each other's weaknesses. Can you and Jon say the same thing? I doubt it. But I guess that's just the fun thing about this challenge. We get to see which team is better.

Char pauses for a minute to catch her breath.

Char Kwan: Don't let me being an Asian scare you. I am just as capable as anyone when it comes to performing in the ring. Yes, I do know a slew of martial arts. Yes, I do love to utilize what I have learned into my arsenal. However. I am someone who will take a lot of risk just to prove myself. I am not the strongest but I am very quick on my feet. I may not out power you but I will out wrestle you. That's the kind of threat I am Amy. I am someone who can do a lot just to become the best. What are you willing to do? Are you willing to risk it all? Guess we will find out huh.

We shift away from the girls serving the homeless to Jack and Jimmy sitting in a giant room surrounded by sick children. Jack is helping a young boy build a city with his large Lego set as Jimmy is holding up a book and reading to the kids. Earlier in the day, Jack and Jim had an adventure as they went to multiple toy stores and book stores. They purchased three Santa bags full of gifts for the sick kids staying at a St Jude's hospital in Carson City, Nevada. This wasn't the first time Jack has done something like this. Every year around Christmas time, he buys toys for kids who aren't able to have a normal Christmas.

The hospital staff had no idea they were coming as Jack just walked up to the front desk.

Jack: Excuse me, can I speak to the head doctor or nurse?

The front desk receptionist lifts her eyes up from her computer screen and gives a strong sigh. She calls up Doctor Wilson as Jack stands politely next to the desk. Dr. Wilson strolls up to the desk as he sees Jack and Jimmy standing there. He walks around and sees the three Santa bags.

Dr. Wilson: What can I do for you fellas?

Jack smiles while giving the doctor a firm handshake.

Jack: Dr. Wilson, my name is Jackson Rod Stewart and this is my good friend Jimmy Andrews. We are here to give these children some Christmas gifts that Santa brought to us.

Dr. Wilson's jaw dropped when he heard what Jack said. He almost had nothing to say as leads the young men into the giant room which holds four tables, a reading area and lots of chairs to sit in. Jack smiles as Jimmy places the bags next to the large table in the center of the room. Dr. Wilson quietly thanks them for doing this as Jack simply smiles.

Jack: Don't mention it. This is one of my traditions every year. My kids get toys and things on Christmas Day. However, I know these kids could use some cheering up as well.

Dr. Wilson nods as a couple nurses lead a group of kids into the room. Jimmy stands tall as the little eyes light up. The kids gather around the large table as Jack and Jimmy quietly starts handing out presents. The sound of wrapping paper getting ripped off fills the room as Jimmy stands next to Jack.

Jimmy: This was a very good idea Jack.

Jack smiles.

Jack: Yep. The look on their faces is why I do this every year.

One of the kids walk up to Jack and tugs on his pants leg.

Child: Thank you for the Lego set.

Jack kneels down and looks the kid square in the eye. No words were said as he gives the child a soft embrace. The kid then asks if Jack could help him build. Jack nods as they walk over to a small corner and begins building a Lego city. Jimmy watches until a little girl walks up to him holding a storybook. She holds it out to him as he quickly smiles before joining a big circle of kids. He quietly begins reading as Dr. Wilson watches from against the wall.

Dr. Wilson: I never thought these kids would get a Christmas.

The nurse watches as Jimmy finishes the story. He hands the book back to the little girl as he gives her a high five. She then joins her friends as he walks over towards Jack. He taps him on the shoulder as Jack fist bumps his new friend. Dr. Wilson greets the two men at the door. Jack inaudibly tells the doctor that the third bag was for him and the staff. Tears fill the doctor's eyes as Jimmy and Jack leave the room.

Jack and Jimmy are walking through the parking garage as Jack pulls out his camcorder. Jimmy didn't even know Jack had it. Jack smirks as he tilts the camera upward as he suddenly begins to record.

Jack Stewart: How you doing friends? I hope you are having a wonderful Christmastime with family and friends. Speaking of friends, Jimmy and I just finished loving on some kids here in Carson City. We helped put a lot of smiles on a ton of sick kids and boy it was refreshing. I had so many kids ask for autographs and photos that it felt good to do all of it without any sort of payment. Christmas time is my favorite time of year because of things like this.

Jack stops midstride to reposition his camera but Jimmy decides to take it out of his hand. Jimmy slips it onto his own hand as Jack just goes with it.

Jack Stewart: Last week, I had a sliver of doubt creep over me during our match with Jerry and Kandy. Both of them were very competitive and they proved to be a creditable unit. Beverly and I did prove that chemistry is a key ingredient in a successful team. This week, I am still riding that high as Amy Marshall and Jon Dough stand between Gamer Inc and the tag titles. Now I am fully aware that both Jon Dough and Amy Marshall are very good as individual competitors. However, their lone victory wasn't all that impressive. First off, we defeated the same team they did and we are the one on a roll. I'm sure Jon Dough will be respectful which is highly appreciated but is that going to help you win a match.

I can show you respect to I'm blue in the face but when it comes down to it. I'm coming into this match with a lot too prove. This time around, I'm teaming with the O.G. of Gamer Inc. Yes, I am talking about my best friend Char Kwan. Before there was Gamer Inc, there was Nerd Inc. Nerd Inc is what started it all and that is who you will be facing folks. I know it doesn't matter to you who it is but it matters to us.

Char Kwan and myself have the most history when it comes to teaming together. She has always had my back even when I divorced my wife a few months ago. Char has been there and this week we will rise to the occasion.

Jack uses his right hand to stroke his chin while thinking.

Jack Stewart: Jon Dough, I don't see you as an ally or a friend. I see you has the second to last hurdle that I have to jump over. Gamer Inc has been scratching and clawing through the ranks hoping for a title opportunity. Our one chance happens at Inception 3 but before we can get there. We must go through you. I know you want nothing more than to be champion again but you've had your chance. This is ours and I will do whatever it takes to succeed.

I am not above using dirty tactics to secure a victory for my team. I am willing to do it all. Like I said, this is our match to push us into the next level. We must prove why we are a potential champion and that starts on Climax Control. I hope your holidays are wonderful but this Sunday. Your dream Christmas will turn into a bloody nightmare.

Good luck, cause you both will need it.
