SCU in conjunction with SCW presents… High Stakes IX Pre Show, coming at you LIVE from the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 20th, 2019, taking place just before the main show airs.



WGN logo appears along with a small disclaimer that is only viewable to those watching the pre-show on WGN TV.

The WGN logo disappears as all three broadcasts go live to pre-show that sits to the side of rampway half the distance to the curtain and ring. A yellow-tinted glass with the High Stakes logo sits in front of the panel to divide them from the rows in front of it, behind them is the Sin City for tonight. (Tables, chairs, kendo sticks, etc.)

The camera goes to the panel itself. From left to right we see SCU reporter Dev Khatri, SCW Color Commentator Belinda Simone, SCU Ring Announcer Liam Gagnon, and SCW head ref Jasmine St. John.

Belinda: Hello everyone and welcome to High Stake IX Pre-show. I’m here with Liam, Dev, and Jasmine as we bring you tonights pre-show matches. 18 matches in tonight's High Stakes with 4 pre-show matches.

Liam:That’s right Belinda. A total of 22 matches for everyone tonight.

Jasmine: When it comes to the biggest show of the year Sin City goes hard. 22 matches as Liam said and 11 of those matches happen to be championship matches as the SCU TV titles per div rules do not get defended at the PPV. All the other titles are up for grabs and all will have the fans glued to their seats.

Dev: The sold-out crowd of 8,800 will be getting their money's worth tonight just on all the nontitle matches. I mean, who wouldn’t pay big money to see those matches.

Liam:The pre-show alone has two good ones with The Ruin Sisters Debbi and Stacy take on Le Coven. A challenge put out by the Ruins'. Then the pre-show main event for tonight is also a nontitle match as Winter Elemental and Merlot finally get it on in a singles match.

Belinda: The two have fought before but in tag team matches. Now Winter looks to take her out all by herself.

Jasmine: Winter can easily take out Merlot as she is talented but make no mistake about it. Merlot can just as easily beat Winter. Merlot in her short time here has already proven that she is a big player in the SCU locker room.

Liam:As good as that match will be, High Stakes has the Special Challenge match as Mercedes Vargas takes on Melody Grace.

Belinda: Melody has been away from the ring for a while. She comes back tonight to take on Mercedes a match she really wants but is she ready for it.

Dev: Whatever ring rust she may have will go away when the bell rings. Melody Grace might have been away for a long time but someone as good as Melody can return to the ring at any time and it will be like riding a bike to them. They just have to put their foot on the pedal and take off. That is what Melody will do, Mercedes being an active wrestler may not have the advantage that it should.

Jasmine: As someone who sees all the action closer than anyone one else in this panel I can say that this is one match we all wanted to referee. Draw Patton win that match to call and it will be a good one to call.

Liam:With having the best view of it all. Sitting at ringside has its advantages.

Dev: Until weapons get involved, then it can get Scary especially with those hardcore matches. Speaking of which we have the champions backstage with something to say. Let's go there now.

Right after the opening of the pre-show of High Stakes, the cameras caught Henry Losak along with Lord Raab and Samuel McPherson backstage. The crowd reactions were somewhat mixed of them booing because of them being hated and being Hardcore Tag champions and cheered because of Lord Raab's induction later tonight. Still, for now, it was time for Henry to speak on camera with Lord Raab and Samuel McPherson holding their Hardcore Tag Titles to the camera.

Henry Losak: "It's about god damn time as well the Hardcore Tag champions of The Monstimals getting a chance to showcase themselves as the Hardcore tag team champions to face against The Good Shepherds who earned the right to face The Monstimals tonight for the Hardcore Tag Titles. However, I'll praise Team Canada who gave these men a fight and wouldn't give up, that's the kind of hardcore tag champions The Monstimals are. It showed why Team Canada was the toughest team The Monstimals fought to date in Sin City Underground so far, even with their manager throwing in the towel to stop Raab and Samuel injuring Stewart from having a serious injury."

Even Henry had to show some respect with Lord Raab and Samuel McPherson nodding in very unusual agreement, and they quickly move on from Team Canada and talk about their opponents tonight.

Henry Losak: "The Good Shepherds I hope have been witnessing what The Monstimals have done since their time in Sin City Underground with pure dominance. Nobody is going to stop The Monstimals from taking their Hardcore Tag titles away from them, especially when Father Gerald and Brother David have been too busy preaching to god about their pathetic religious views. No god is going to stop you guys from taking down The Monstimals. Sure, you defeated the Williams family for the shot of us, but your lack of killer instinct is going to cost you big time to win this match."

Lord Raab and Samuel McPherson clench their fists together and do a broken symbol along with tapping their titles on their shoulder and Henry continues.

Henry Losak: "It will because you guys are nowhere near on par with The Monstimals brute strength and the biggest killer instinct they have to destroy the pair of you, stopping you guys from praying to God you'll win the match. More you'll pray you don't get hurt and have your careers ended as The Monstimals will give you guys a beating from hell with and without weapons. Both of you will be in a whole world of pain and being completely dominated by The Monstimals, doing nothing, but hurt you guys to retain the Hardcore Tag titles. Prepare to be dominated by The Monstimals, either by pinfall or submission, walking away from High Stakes tonight as still your SCU Hardcore Tag Team champions. Good luck, Father Gerald and Brother David because you are going to need it."

As Lord Raab and Samuel go in front of the cameras and do a few punches on camera, directly to The Good Shepherds before they go behind the curtain for their match to start. The commentators speaking about it before the entrance music of The Good Shepherds plays on the sound systems.

Dev: Lucky for us, tonight's hardcore match is opening tonight's show, with the sold-out crowd of 8,800 still not all being here, they’ll be able to fight anywhere they like.

Liam:It looks like we have about 2,000 so far, I’m sure another 3,000 are in line trying to get in.

Belinda: Speaking of the Hardcore Tag Team Titles, it looks like we’re ready for tonight’s first match as we see   Darlyn Fajardo in the middle of the ring to get things underway!

The cameras switch over to ringside as we still hear the Good Shepherds theme music playing.

Falls Count Anywhere Match - Hardcore Tag Team Championships
The Good Shepherds Vs The Monstimals

Darlyn::  The opening contest is a Falls Count Anywhere Match, scheduled for one fall!  Iiiiiiiiiiintroducing first, the challengers…

A white light flashes over the crowd that is almost blinding. It returns to a more tolerable brightness as "Spirit In the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum continues to play through the arena. The crowd boos and gets louder when the announcer speaks up.

Darlyn:: On their way to the ring from Tulsa, Oklahoma Representing The Church of The Good Shepherds they are Brother David and Father Gerald Shepherd!

And the boos become louder. Gerald and David run out onto the stage. Gerald throws his hands in the air, looking up, as David claps his hands and orders the crowd to look at Gerald. Gerald nods his head and smiles when he goes back and forth across the stage. He holds His Holy Word in his hand as he shouts out a verse. He and David walk down the ramp as he continues to read. He sits it on the ring steps and runs up them as David jumps onto the apron, walking back and forth Gerald also walks across the apron as he seeks His praise. They get inside of the ring and slowly spin around before settling in a corner and waits for the match to start while discussing strategy.

Darlyn::  Aaaaaaand their opponents.  They are your Hardcore Tag Team Champions, Samuel McPherson and Lord Raab… The Monstimals!!!

Monster and Animal I Have Become (mash up) by Skillet and Three Days Grace play over the sound system as Samuel McPherson and Lord Raab come through the curtain with Henry Losak behind them as they walk side by side together to the ring, ignoring the fans as they step over the top rope together while Henry goes through the middle rope. Raab and Samuel do a holdup in the ring with the fans booing on them as Henry steps out of the ring with Raab and Samuel stand in the ring waiting for the match to start.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Chad:  This match is not going to end well for one of these teams, and my money is on The Monstimals retaining.

Gena:  The Good Shepherds aren’t to be counted out though.  Brother David and Father Gerald aren’t above playing dirty, and this match leaves a lot of space between legal and not legal.

Chad:  Lord Raab and David meet in the center of the ring as Samuel and Gerald stare one another down from across the ring.  Gerald bolts across the ring, looking for a Clothesline.

Gena:  But he’s met with a Big Boot to the chest, while David and Raab tie-up.  David struggles against Raab, Raab forces him against the ropes, and then over the top in quick succession!

Chad:  Gerald gets up from the mat to get a boot to the face, sending him right back down.  Raab turns around and begins stomping with Samuel.

Gena:  David rolls back inside of the ring and dives at Raab’s knee, taking him down to the ground.  Samuel turns around and David kicks him in the gut and swings into a harsh DDT.

Chad:  Raab gets up to his feet, but so does Gerald.  Gerald and David Clothesline Raab over the top rope.  They climb outside of the ring, looking back to see Samuel barely stirring.

Gena:  The fans are still piling in, and Gerald and David look to take advantage of that.  They throw Raab over the railing and into the first row.  They kick a few chairs out of the way.

Chad:  Gerald hoists Raab up onto his shoulders, and David grabs on.  They hit a Double Powerslam to Raab through a few chairs. David and Gerald fall down on top for the pin.

One!
Two!
Kickout!

Gena:  Raab powers out of the pin.  However, this doesn’t save him any grief as The Good Shepherds stomp away wildly at the fallen Raab.

Chad:  They don’t have long to do this before Samuel grabs David by the hair and hits a Reverse Neckbreaker over the barricade!

Gena:  Gerald drags Raab off while keeping his eyes on Samuel and David.  Samuel drags David off of the barricade and then tosses him into the ring steps before flinging him into the barricade, knocking it down partially.

Crowd:  OHHHHHHHHH!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Chad:  Samuel drops down for the cover after that devastating blow!

One!
Two!

Gena:  Gerald makes the save by dropping an elbow to the back of Samuel’s head.  He climbs back over the railing and continues dragging Raab toward the aisle.

Chad:  Gerald struggles, but he lifts Raab up and drops his face on the banister in the aisle!  Raab holds onto his mask and turns around.  He then hits a surprise Throat Thrust to Gerald!

Gena:  Raab then wraps his hand around Gerald’s throat and lifts him up for a Chokeslam on the steps, but David rushes up behind and clubs Raab across the back.  He keeps hold of Gerald’s throat, but he leans down a bit.

Chad:  Samuel rushes in and spins David around, gripping him around the throat.  Raab throws Gerald into the side of the wall near the steps.

Gena:  He rushes at Gerald and drags him backward for the Backstabber while Samuel Chokeslam’s David.  Both men make the cover on their respective opponents!

Darlyn::  Here are your winners and STILL Hardcore Tag Team Champions… The Monstimallllllllssssssss!!!

“Monster I Have Become” begins playing over the speakers.  The Monstimals are handed their belts as they stand victorious amongst the crowd, holding their belts high in the air.  Henry joins his men and points at them, calling for them to get every ounce of attention possible. After a minute the cameras go back to the pre-show panel.




Belinda: We’re just about halfway filled as the rest of the fans wait in line to get in. These lucky half got to see one great hardcore match. One of many, as tonight we have 2 Roulette title matches, the Combat matches. Javi defends the Underground title in a No DQ match.

Dev: Plus we all heard GM Tad last week when he said that Halo will be defending her Underground title in a 30-minute ironwomen match.

Liam:An eight-person Mix Tag Team Championship in a Fatal Four-Way Ladder Match. So many in the ring all trying to climb on ladders. You know at least seven of them are getting hurt tonight.


Belinda: A Ladder match in which features two returning Elders in Matt Spears and Orchid. Amy Marshall and Joshua Acquin.

Jasmine: That alone makes a great tag team match. I say book it in the future. I’ll call the match.

Liam:Both those team put together is no match for the perfect 4 person combo in SCW history. London Underground, no matter the combo is a team to watch.

Dev: I agree but I’m not going to count out the champion Culture Shock. The team with the least time in SCW happens to be the Champions. There’s a reason for that. If I had to bet my money on anyone, I’d bet on Culture Shock retaining.

Belinda: They have their hands full tonight, that's for sure. It will be anyone ball game, look for this one to be a wild one.  

Liam:Speaking of wild we have Stewart Mason defending the Combat title in an MMA match vs John Blade. John shock us all when he beat Dax Beckett to become the contender. A former Combat Champion himself, however, will look to be the first two time champion.

Belinda: Stewart is an MMA wrestler so it won’t be easy. That’s the life of these champions as nothing comes easy.

Dev: The same can be said for the rest of the roster, Belinda. Just ask Lachlan Kane or Malachi as the two face off in a Steel Cage Grudge Match. For those not sure about the grudge match, it’s simple. The last match they had will be nothing compared to what they plan on doing to each other tonight. The two don’t just want to win this match, they also want the other to leave the arena on a stretcher. Expect the medical team to be busy just with this match alone.

Liam:Well, I hope they won’t stay too busy because if you think that will end badly for Malachi or Lachlan then just wait for the Chamber of Extreme Cage Match with Christina Rose and Jesse Salco.

Jasmine: A bloody one for sure. Trust me, we want to see this match but not of the refs were looking forward to having to call the match.

Dev: Speaking of Matches Darlyn Fajardo is in the ring as we get set for the Ruin Sisters vs Le Coven.

Jasmine: Before we do I hear Marissa Henry is backstage with the Fir Dragons. Let’s go to Marissa first.



We are taken backstage to find Marissa Henry standing alongside Mark "The Dragon" Cross, who is sporting a considerable height advantage on the backstage interviewer. He is dressed in full ring gear in preparation for the first of two matches on one of Sin City's biggest shows of the year.

Marissa: Hey guys, it's Big D backstage here at the High Stakes pre-show, and I'm alongside Mark "The Dragon" Cross. How's it going?

The Dragon: Hey Marissa - All the better knowing you're starting to hang out with me again now I've made a splash on the main show.

Marissa: More like I haven't been assaulted by any Fire Dragons for the last few weeks…

The Dragon: Are you still salty about that? Wow…

Marissa: Can we not talk about this now? I mean, in the first of two matches tonight, you're squaring off against The Nobility…

The Dragon: No Ability.

Marissa: That's not their team name.

The Dragon: No Ability, n00bility, heck I've been Mark Hunter and Mark Storm this week already, I don't think wrestlers and names really go together all that well.

Marissa: How do you rate your chances against them? It's a couple of weeks now since you and Valentina were last in the ring together, any rust to shake off?

The Dragon: That doesn't mean we haven't prepared fully for this match. There's one thing you won't hear me complaining about, and that's having time to work through a gameplan for an opponent, or to tool up in the gym. From match one, the Fire Dragons showed signs of a real partnership. Every day since has been one step closer to honing that, and we're ready to defeat whoever walks out to face us tonight.

Marissa: How about double duty? Are you worried about being at your best in both performances?

The Dragon: Marissa - Before I came to Sin City, I was back to working a part-time schedule. We're all professional athletes, and for those of us that take it seriously, that means a strict fitness regime, diet, minimal alcohol...you know, the stuff that's about as boring as watching one of my promos, right? I could wrestle four, five matches tonight if I had to, and I'd bring the heat in everyone. It's not the matches that get you, it's the constant grind of traveling, training, PR appearances, dodgy hotel beds...the kind of things I took a refreshing break from. The only things I'm going to want from tonight? Some polish to keep my new belt shiny, and more ring time to defend it.

Marissa: That's some fighting talk from one half of the Fire Dragons ladies and gentlemen! Let's get back to the show.

Stacy and Debbi high fives as many fans as they can while reaching ringside.

They side in the ring as the music fades out.

The lights in the arena dim down as “Cupid Carries A Gun” by Marilyn Manson begins playing over the speakers.  The crowd goes into an uproar of cheers as the screen is taken over by the picture of a silver moon behind a fog of clouds, with crows flying in front of it.  Two shadowy figures emerge from behind the curtains.

Darlyn::  Aaaaand their opponents, at a combined weight of 255lb, they are Celeste North and Jenifer LaCroix… Le Coven!!!

The fans give off an even bigger pop as a spotlight shines on both ladies behind a misty screen of fog pouring out from behind the curtains.  They make their way down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans on their way.  They go to both sides of the ring and split it, looking out into the crowd before climbing onto the apron.  They sign to the audience before stepping inside.  They take their corner and talk to one another as the lights return to normal and they wait for the match to start.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Gena:  You gotta hand it to the Ruin Sisters.  No one had the tits to step up to the undefeated Le Coven for weeks until these bad bitches stood up and volunteered.  Week in and week out, they laid out the challenge.

Chad:  And look where it landed them.  In one of their biggest career matches at High Stakes IX.  Some might look at it as career suicide, but even if they lose, they will be watched on the highest-rated show of the year.

Gena:  It looks like Stacy and Jenifer will be starting things off.  Both ladies step to the center of the ring, and in a showing of respect, Stacy extends her hand.

Chad:  And with equal respect, Jenifer accepts, and the two shake.  They step back a few paces and begin the circle.  However, it doesn’t take long before they tie up!

Gena:  Stacy tries to overpower Jenifer, but Jenifer quickly changes the attempt up and backs Stacy into the ropes.  The referee calls for the break, and Jenifer holds her hands up innocently.

Chad:  Stacy nails Jenifer with a few punches before Irish Whipping her into the opposite ropes.  Stacy looks for a Hip Toss, but Jenifer rounds behind and puts on a Rear Chin Lock.

Gena:  Stacy’s arms flail for a moment, but then she leans forward and dumps Jenifer over.  She then locks her arms around Jenifer’s neck, getting a Rear Chin Lock of her own!

Chad:  Bravo, Stacy!  However, Jenifer is able to maneuver around to get her foot onto the bottom rope.  The ref calls for the break, and Stacy makes it clean.

Gena:  Jenifer gets to her feet and nods her head, giving credit where it’s due.  She walks over and tags in Celeste.  Stacy follows suit and tags in Debbi.

Chad:  This is almost refreshing.  A clean, friendly fight, smack dab in the middle of some of the most heated feuds in SCU/SCW history.

Gena:  Celeste and Debbi shake hands in the center of the ring, and Celeste squares up.  Debbi, however, rushes in for a Fireman’s Carry that catches Celeste off guard.  She finds herself on her back.

Chad:  Debbi gets a basic Arm Lock on Celeste.  While Celeste shouts out from the shocking pain of it, she gets to a vertical base and lifts Debbi up into a modified Powerbomb.

Gena:  She goes to hook the legs, but Debbi claps her thighs around Celeste and twists her arm, going back to the Arm Lock.

Chad:  Celeste refuses to go down, using everything in her to stay standing.  She begins swinging Debbi back and forth like a pendulum, but Debbi won’t let go!

Gena:  Celeste steps closer to the ropes, and Debbi bounces off of them, twisting Celeste’s arm even harder.

Chad:  Could we see a submission already?  That sounded like it hurt!  However, Celeste is able to get hold of Debbi and lifts her up into another Powerbomb.  This time, she is able to hook the legs.

Two!

Gena:  Stacy comes in for the save.  After breaking up the pin, Stacy goes back to her corner.  Jenifer and Stacy make eye contact, and Jenifer gives a threatening point.

Chad:  Stacy throws it right back and reaches her hand out.  Debbi is able to get the tag, while Celeste welcomes the challenge.

Gena:  Celeste adjusts her stance, but Stacy doesn’t leave her much time to get ready as she comes at Celeste with a series of knees to both sides.

Chad:  Celeste blocks as many of them as she can, but many of them make it through.  Celeste goes for a Clothesline, but Stacy drops back to the ground, and then kips up again.

Gena:  Stacy hits a Yakuza Kick to Celeste, and then sweeps her off of her feet.  She grabs Celeste’s ankle and applies the Ruin Lock (Ankle Lock)!

Chad:  Celeste tries to get out of it, but Stacy has her weight grounded!  Celeste has trouble as she tries to leap over to her corner, but Stacy drags her right back to the center of the ring!

Gena:  Stacy tightens the lock and Celeste hollers out in pain.  The Ruins are on fucking fire right now!  They might actually end the streak of Le Coven!

Chad:  Celeste jumps up on one foot and makes the tag to Jenifer!  Jenifer puts Stacy on her back, and then bumps Debbi off of the apron, or she tries at least.

Gena:  Debbi holds onto the ropes, and as Jenifer turns away, she holds onto Jenifer.  Stacy charges forward and hits a Shoulder Block to Jenifer’s gut.  She tags in Debbi.

Chad:  Debbi climbs inside and she puts Jenifer’s head between her legs!  She lifts her up for the You Been Ruined (Razor’s Edge)!  She is about to land it when Celeste kicks her in the gut.

Gena:  Stacy comes at Celeste, and Jenifer falls to her feet.  Celeste and Jenifer simultaneously lift Stacy and Debbi respectively off of the mat for Le Coven Bomb (Arn Anderson Spinebuster)!!!  Jenifer hooks the leg.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Darlyn::  Here are your winners… Jenifer LaCroix and Celeste North… Le Coven!!!

“Cupid Carries A Gun” plays over the speakers and Celeste and Jenifer celebrate.  After a minute, Stacy and Debbi begin to stir.  Jenifer and Celeste lift their opponents up by their arms.  The Ruins get defensive, but Le Coven hold both of their arms up along with their own, celebrating a great match together.  Celeste points to them and nods her head, presumably talking about what bad bitches these two are.




Belinda: Le Coven continue the winning streak in SCU with this win over the Ruin Sisters.

Liam:The Ruin were the underdogs in this match but they fought to the end and pushed Le Coven to the limit.

Dev: Expect to see the same thing later tonight when we see Ben Jordan go one on one with Fenris.

Jasmine: A main event match on the biggest night. Fenris has had a really good year in 2019. But I bet beating Ben Jordan tonight is a goal of his. Few men in SCW have respect from the fans in peers alike as Ben does. Not to take away from Fenris in any way as I’m sure Ben feels the same way.

Liam:They feel the same way as for Fenris, beating Ben tonight will continue to show everyone that he is the future and expect him to use this win to work back into the title scene.

Belinda: That said if Ben Jordan walks away with this victory along with the lack of title Opportunities given to him and his long-time with this company. To beat a man like Fenris who has one of the best starts the company has ever seen holds weight.

Dev: Losing this match won’t hurt them but winning this match will speak volumes.

Liam:When it comes to winning a match that speaks volumes, Belinda, what do you think, it speaks for the winner of the Fatal Fourway Match between Caleb Storms, Stephen Callaway, Mark Cross, and Jake Raab?

Belinda: Will now you’re putting me on the spot here. I mean, who knows what could come of it. I mean, one can see one of these men using this match as a way to find themselves taking on the Roulette Champion in the future. Not saying it will happen but that’s my future booking if I had the hard task of having to book matches.

Dev: Whoever wins tonight between the champion Griffin Hawkins and challenger The Bulldog Bill Barnhart, I’m sure would be happy to defend the Roulette title against any of those four men at any time.

Jasmine: That’s the men's side and I like it, Belinda. Roulette Champion Sam Marlowe and challenger Bobbie Dahl feel the same way in the Bombshell side.

Belinda: That’s true and I’m sure the winners of the Twisted Sister vs Alice Knight and Bella Madison vs Andrea Hernandez can be looked at as possible opponents so in a few hours all four will be going out there and earn them a shot.  

Liam:Which is why I urge those watching this on WGN that doesn’t have SCWNetwork. Tonight is the night to become a member. I can’t stress this enough, you guys don’t want to miss out on Senor Vinnie vs Ty West and Alicia Lukas Lukas vs Seleana Zdunich. 22 total matches for tonight and those two double main event the whole thing.

Jasmine: Alicia as been on fire defending her title everywhere we go and retaining it each time. She goes one on one with no stranger. Seleana knows what it takes to be champions and looks to dethrone Alicia once and for all.

Dev: A task easier said than done. So many have tried and all came up short. Seleana has what it takes and will give the fight to Alicia. The Champion why not walk out tonight with the title. Alicia is the top bombshell but her top spot my end tonight.

Liam:As for Senor Vinnie, he just recently became the champion and doesn’t plan on losing it no time soon not to friends, enemies, or even family. Ty West, however, is the man with the talent to take the title from Vinnie. Ty has done it before when it came to the roulette title. Look for this to be no different.

Belinda: Ty and Vinnie won’t walk in the same way they came into this match. Nothing will be held back, too much is on the line. The SCW World Championship is being sought out by every male in SCW. Ty and Vinnie know this and also know that they both sit at the top. Vinnie is the Champion and they top guy but Ty West so just so talented that without a title he still sits up there with the champ.

Dev: With that said, we have a title match ready to start as we have Darlyn Fajardo in the ring ready to get the SCU Double Down Tag Team championship underway.

Darlyn:: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the SCU Double Down Championships!

Crowd: *POP!*

Darlyn:: First, from Canterbury, England, standing at 6’1” and weighing in at 225lb, he is… Mark “The Dragon” Crrrrrrrrrosssssss!!!

The arena lights dim as the bassline to "Never Again" begins to rumble around the arena. As the guitar riff hits, so does the lights, revealing Mark "The Dragon" Cross standing, one fist aloft, at the top of the aisle. Receiving recognition from the crowd, he strides purposefully to ringside, taking a moment to survey the scene as he reaches the apron.

Flashes like cameras go across the stage and the audience as the sound accompanies it. “You should see me in a crown” by Billie Eilish begins on the PA as pure beauty walks through the curtains. Her hair blows in the wind as she looks up at the ceiling. She places a hand on her hip as she lets the crowd admire her despite getting a mixed reaction.

Darlyn:: Please welcome, on her way to the ring from Merida, Spain. She stands at 5'11" and weighs in at 125 pounds, she is pure perfection... Valentinaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Once Valentina is officially announced, she turns and begins walking down the ramp. She pushes her hair out of her face as she vogues, showing off her face to its full capacity. She steps up to the ring steps and looks around with a majestic smile. She takes to the steps as she comes to the apron. She looks around for a moment, stomping her foot in protest as a scantily clad man runs down the ramp and climbs onto the apron. He sits on the middle rope, opening it for her. Valentina then takes off her Louboutins and hands them to the man as she prances barefoot around the ring. She refuses to let go of the spotlight.

Darlyn:: And their opponents!!!

The fans begin to boo loudly as "Superficial" by Heidi Montag hits over the public address system

As the lights dim and flash gold all over the arena, a lone spotlight forms at the entrance ramp as out from the back first steps Leroy with a stern look on his face. After a few moments, Todd walks out from behind him, looking nervous. As he claps within a few seconds in an arrogant and exaggerated fashion, Angel Kash herself walks out as the fans boo loudly.

Darlyn:: And next, they are the Double Down Tag Team Champion… “The Trillion Dollar Princess”... Angel Kash, Chanelle Martinez-Blade, and Melissa Ruin… They are Nobility!!!!

Angel blows an arrogant kiss to the fans before doing a series of arrogant poses at the top of the ramp. She then says something to Todd and Leroy as they first go ahead, before the arrogant rich blonde bombshell does an arrogant supermodel-like strut down to the ring, taunting the fans as she walks by them, before rudely sticking out her hand, and flipping her hair arrogantly as she brushes past the fans, not letting them even come close to touching her. She makes her way up the ring steps with Leroy, holding her hand from the outside, as Todd is standing in front of her on the ring apron. Angel then points down as he holds the ropes for her; she enters and poses in the center of the ring as the fans boo loudly. After that, she lays on the top turnbuckle nonchalantly taunting the fans as Todd hands her a mirror and she admires her beauty.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Chad:  Chanelle Martinez and Angel Kash will be taking the helm it appears, as Chanelle steps to the center of the ring.  She points right at Mark Cross, letting us know that she wants to start this off with him.

Gena:  The crowd goes nuts as Mark points to himself as if to ask “who me?”  He then steps forward as Valentina takes her corner, stepping outside of the ring.  Chanelle begins bouncing up and down in place, getting pumped up.

Chad:  Mark reaches the center of the ring and goes to bump fists with Chanelle, but Chanelle rocks him in the gut instead!  She moves behind him and drops down with a Neckbreaker!  Chanelle then climbs on top and begins rapidly slapping at Cross.

Gena:  Valentina steps inside of the ring and drags Chanelle off of Mark,  She then slaps the taste out of Chanelle’s mouth!

Crowd:  *POP!!!*

Chad:  Valentina is ushered to her corner, and Angel uses the advantage to step inside and begin kicking at Mark Cross.  Valentina tries to fight it as best as she can to break it up, but Chanelle and Angel get away with it due to Valentina’s protesting!

Gena:  Valentina throws her arms up and steps to the apron.  As the referee turns around, they see the double team act, and they usher Angel to her corner.  Angel doesn’t put up a fight, but points to her head and looks right at Valentina.

Chad:  Chanelle goes to pick Cross up from the mat, but Cross quickly rolls her up into a pin!

One!
Two!
Kickout!

Gena:  Chanelle gets her shoulders up and she slips out of the pin.  She scrambles to her feet, but Cross puts her down with a Clothesline!  As she gets back up, he drops her once again!  And again!

Crowd:  YEAHHHHHH!!!!!

Chad:  Chanelle tries to crawl to her corner, but Cross grabs onto her ankle and pulls her to the center of the ring again.  He starts to lift her up, but Chanelle leans in and hits a Low Blow that the referee doesn’t see.  She bounces off of the ropes and hits a Hip Attack.

Gena:  Chanelle then tags in… Melissa?  The referee looks confused, but Melissa Ruin is quick to enter the fray.  She picks Cross up from the mat and sends him into the ropes.  She catches him with a Bicycle Kick that makes him stumbles back into the ropes.

Chad:  Melissa tries for another Bicycle Kick, but Cross catches her leg and drops her with a T-Bone Suplex.  He hooks the leg.

One!
Two!

Gena:  Chanelle kicks the back of his head to break up the pin.  She picks him up and sends him into the ropes as Melissa Leapfrogs over Chanelle and hits a Splash to Cross… or it was meant to, but Cross moves out of the way and tags in Valentina!

Chad:  The crowd goes nuts as Valentina jumps inside of the ring.  She drops Chanelle with a Clothesline, and then drops Melissa with one.  She turns around and drops Chanelle again with one.  As Melissa goes for a Clothesline of her own, Val does a Matrix Evasion!

Gena:  Chanelle gets to her corner, and Melissa tags her in.  Chanelle gets inside of the ring and grabs Valentina’s leg as she goes for a Roundhouse Kick.  Chanelle sweeps the leg and wraps Val up into a Sharpshooter!

Chad:  Cross goes to step inside of the ring, but Melissa is at his ankles, holding on for dear life. He shakes free of her grip and goes to get inside of the ring, but Angel Kash is there in his way!  What the hell is going on here?

Gena:  Blonde white girls are a dime a dozen, and these bitches are playing that to their advantage.  Kash slaps him across the face as Valentina tries to move to the ropes.  The referee looks around as Valentina tries for the ropes, but Melissa slaps her hands away!

Chad:  Cross lifts Kash up into a Spinebuster and breaks up the Sharpshooter by grabbing Chanelle by the hair.  He goes to punch her until she looks into his eyes, tears sparkling in them.  He lowers his fist, feeling sorry for a moment.

Gena:  And that’s all Chanelle needed to bring him down into an Atomic Drop!  She turns around and Valentina is there with a series of punches of her own, sending Chanelle back into the corner.

Chad:  The referee orders one member of Nobility to stay away from the ring or risk being ejected.  Melissa Ruin steps back innocently, holding her hands up.  Angel gets in her corner, making it look like the biggest task she’s had to perform all night.

Gena:  Valentina backs Chanelle into the ropes and then flings her into the opposite corner.  Valentina rushes forward with a Monkey Flip, but Chanelle holds on and spins her around, smashing her into the corner.

Chad:  Valentina holds onto her back as she sinks down, getting a Hip Attack right into the turnbuckle!  She holds onto her head as Chanelle comes back with Ridin’ Yo Face (Bronco Buster)!  She pulls Val toward the center of the ring and hooks the leg.

One!
Two!

Gena:  Cross breaks it up!  He saves the match, but he trips into the referee!  As if on cue… Angel of Filth comes down from the ceiling!  She has a wicked look on her face as she descends into the ring.  She looks at Valentina, helpless on the ground.

Chad:  This isn’t the time or the place, Filth!  Valentina gets up to her feet, while Chanelle and Angel stare on with smiles on their faces.  This one is in the bag.  Cross tries to plead with her not to do this, but she goes for the Black Mist!

Gena:  But Valentina ducks, and it hits Chanelle and Angel in the face!  Valentina dumps Filth over the ropes during the surprise.  She then gets a boost from Cross, and she leaps off, hitting the V-Day (Continuous Whirlybird Headscissors)!

Chad:  She hits three rotations and then twists to take Chanelle out!  She hooks the leg to no avail with the referee down.  The ref starts to come to see this, and begins his count.

One!
Two!

Gena:  Angel wipes her eyes clean and steps inside of the ring, but it’s too fucking late!

Three!

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Darlyn::  Here are your winners and NEW SCU Double Down Champions… Valentina and Mark Cross… The FIRE DRAGONSSSSSSS!!!

“You should see me in a crown” begins playing as Valentina jumps right into Mark’s arms.  She hugs onto him, almost crying as she bounces up and down.  Cross holds her with one arm, and then raises his other high in the air.  They take their belts as Nobility glares angrily on, almost in disbelief.  Valentina’s glare meets theirs, and then Angel of Filth’s, but she doesn’t let it stop her from celebrating.  She gets down from Cross’ grip, and they raise their hands ceremoniously in the center of the ring.




Liam:The first title change for tonight. Will we see any other at High Stakes or will the Champions be able to retain. Mark Cross and Valentina are now the champions. Mark has another match tonight. Can he go 2-0 tonight?

Dev: Who knows but he’s not the only one doing double duty as Winter Elemental will also be doing the same. In a few minutes, she and Merlot close the pre-show up with one match all the SCU fans have been waiting for.

Jasmine: Since a few of those fans don’t have the Network it was only right they close out the pre-show as this is a match that would have been at High Stakes had it not been in such demand that WGN ordered SCU to keep the match on the pre-show.

Belinda: IF Winter can get passed Merlot she then has to do the same with Sister Esther. The match itself is one Winter knows every well but after a match with Merlot, win or lose you'll never be at 100% to be able to take on another opponent. The odds are stacked against Winter.

Dev: She did it to herself. she wanted this match and Merlot never backs down. Winter does have one thing going for her.

Belinda: What's that?

Dev: Tonight before her second match we will see Roxi Johnson vs Sierra Williams, Belinda's BFF Diamond vs Keira Fisher- Johnson, and Mercedes Vargas vs Melody Grace. All three minutes will be long matches. No quick pins in those.

Belinda: Don't give Diamond that much credit now.

Dev: I'm not, I'm just hoping that Keira does us all a favor and takes her sweet time beating on her. But Roxi and Sierra will be an even match up as will Mercedes Vargas and Melody Grace. Expect them both to go the time limit. I can see one ending in a draw as the four are just that well even.

Liam:Will time will tell and it looks like we're about to find out as Darlyn Fajardo is in the ring ready to get the pre-show main event underway.

The camera cut backstage before going to ringside for the final match.



As they got back from their Hardcore Tag title match, Henry had been busy getting himself changed into a suit he's wearing tonight for the SCW Hall Of Fame. Samuel and Lord Raab come in the locker room and sees two suits for them to wear. Samuel nodded and went to put his on in the bathroom. Lord Raab, on the other hand, looked at it and laughed before he speaks about it.

Lord Raab: "Are you fucking kidding me, Henry? There's no chance in hell I'm wearing a suit."

Henry Losak: "Listen, everyone in the Hall Of Fame induction tonight is wearing a suit."

Lord Raab: "I don't want to wear a fucking suit. I want to wear my wrestling clothes to the Hall Of Fame induction because people know me from wearing these clothes, not a wrestler who wears a suit to the induction day. Do you honestly think I'd wear it?"

Henry shakes his head, knowing that Lord Raab would, of course, would refuse to wear a suit as he makes another comment about the overall dress code.

Lord Raab: "Are you seriously going to tell me I can't wear my mask, either?"

Henry Losak: "They allowed you to wear the mask as everyone remembers you wearing a mask each time you wrestled, but the wrestling clothes, they want you to look presentable and dress smart just for this one-off occasion. It's your special night, and everyone expects you to make it special by committing to dressing smart for one night."

Lord Raab: "No, I don't feel comfortable wearing a suit in front of the whole world. It's one thing to wear one when I married Samuel or a funeral, but it's another wearing something I never wear out in public just to be inducted. It's stupid, and I won't wear it."

Henry shakes his head once again, being a little disgust with the refusal of Lord Raab wearing a suit for the Hall Of Fame induction ceremony. Samuel then comes out wearing a suit as Henry pats Samuel on his shoulder. Samuel overhearing the argument Raab and Henry were having writes something down on a notepad. As he finishes writing, he passes the note to Lord Raab.

After reading it, he calms down, knowing Raab didn't like change and being forced to dress into something he didn't like. Lord Raab nods, and the cameras go to leave The Monstimals locker room as the cameras switch to ringside, leaving everyone guessing if Lord Raab will wear a suit to the Hall Of Fame induction ceremony or not.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Chad: The bell has rung and Winter and Merlot waste no time as both run to the middle of the ring and start trading blows. The ref gets in the middle of them but they continue to throw fists at each other.

Gena: This one is going to get ugly. The ref yells at the two but neither seems to care. The ref gets in the middle and warns them both to play by the rules. Merlot nods as Winter gives the ref the middle finger.

Chad: Winter better cool it. The ref moves out the way and Winter nails Merlot with the Kawaii Mist (White poison mist) Winter goes for the cover. But Merlot rolls to the side bring Winter with her for a bridged pin.

One…

Gena: Just a one as Winter kicks out. The two get to there feet. Merlot wipes her face as Winter laughs at her. Winter kicks Merlot in the gut then drops her with a DDT! Winter gets on top of Merlot and slaps her in the face.

Chad: Winter gets off of Merlot to taunt the crowd as they cheer Merlot Name. Winter gives them all the finger as Merlot does a kip-up to get to her feet.

Gena: Winter turns around to see Merlot on her feet. Merlot starts yelling at Winter but Winter just laughs in her face as she slaps Merlot yet again.

Chad: Merlot charges at Winter and spears her to the mat. Merlot tries to grab Winter’s arm but Winter kicks Merlot off of her. The two get back to there feet. Winter goes to slap Merlot in the face again but Merlot grabs on to Winter’s arm and holds on to it as she uses Winter’s own momentum to drop her to the mat. Merlot quickly wraps her legs around the arm the grabs onto Winter’s head for the Vanguard Killer!!! (Lebell Lock)

Gena: This is also Winter’s Winter Lock. She is not going to want to tap put to her own move.

Chad: Will that maybe but this is the Vanguard Lock, You can see how Merlot holds on from a slightly different angle, a more painful one I might add.

Gena: Winter screams in pain but doesn’t look as if she will tap out.

Chad: She has no choice as she is stuck in the middle of the ring.

Gena: Maybe you’re right as Winter gets her hand up, I think she’s going to tap… Merlot gets go of the hold. Winter drops her hand…. Merlot locks the hold in again and locks it in tighter! Winter gets her hand up to tap but Merlot lets go again…

Chad: Merlot has this match won and she knows it. She’s now playing with Winter. Toying with her for all she has done.

Gena: They say payback is a bitch. Who know Merlot had it in her to show a mean side like this. Winter looks to tap but Merlot lets go a 3rd time. Winter lays on the mat hurt as Merlot locks in the hold yet again!

Chad: Winter gets her hand up but again Merlot lets go, she smacks the back of Winter’s head then put Winter back in the Vanguard Lock. Merlot bends Winter as far as she can to make the hold…

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Gena: Winter didn’t tap and it looks as if the ref is confused.

Liam:Ladies and gentlemen, ringside medic Dr. Smith has ended this match for the safely of Winter Elemental. Therefore, your winner by TKO…. Merlot Ayano!!!!

Gena: Not even mad at Merlot, good for you for showing everyone in SCU that you are not going to get bullied or treated the way Winter treated her. I hope the rest of the locker room took notice.

Chad: Well the pre-show is said and done. For those watching on WGN please go over to the Network as High Stakes starts now!!!!

The ref raises the hand of Merlot as she celebrates her win. Winter rolls to the corner as she looks on. Merlot looks at Winter then goes up to the top turnbuckle to celebrate with the fans as they chant Merlot’s name.

The Pre-show ends as fireworks go off. WGN now starts its standard local Sunday night lineup as everyone else watches the fireworks going off to start High Stakes IX.
