Messages - Georgie Girl

The sounds of low conversations fills the bar with a soft soundtrack that runs counter to the throbbing music.  Seated in a rather conspicuous table that commands the room, a rather cock looking William Robertson in black dress pants and a West Ham jersey  takes in the young women in short dresses who are offering him returning looks of interest as they tease the short straws in their drinks in what they hope is a flirtatious fashion.  Sitting opposite from the man, an Indian woman in black leather and red satin looks bored.

Between the two, Georgie Robertson is leaned back against the worn leather of the banquette.  Her short, bobbed hair is slicked back with one curl brushing over her left eye.  Dressed in a rather revealing silver bangle halter dress with a black satin bolero, she surveys the room like she owns the place.

William Robertson:  Birds are lookin’ good tonight yeah?  Just wanting to get in the view of old Billy Blue eyes.

 Lalita:   Seriously bruv?!?

William turns to Lalita with a smirk.

William Robertson:  You know that the birds like me yeah?

Lalita:   I just ate ya mug!  And to hear you rabbitin’ on about those young birds over there.  I fink I am gonna be sick.

William Robertson:  If that is how ya feel Lal, maybe my company will be more wanted over there then.

 Lalita:   Crack on Billy.

William gets to his feet and then tugs on his jersey then putting a smile on his face, he moves towards the gaggle of giggling girls and joins them with a wink back at the pair sitting at the table.

Georgie Robertson:   Guess that backfired didn’t it Lalita.

Lalita:  Like I am into your brother Georgie.  He is just so annoying.

Georgie Robertson:   You are annoyed with Billy which tells me that you have some kind of feelings..

Lalita:  If you are going to keep insulting me I’m out.

Lalita gets up from the table herself but is stopped by Georgie who waves a hand at her friend.

Georgie Robertson:   I am just having a go at you Lal.  Seriously, why don’t you sit back down and tell me what is bothering you.

Lalita:  What’s bothering me Georgie is what happened on Sunday.  You could have taken any of those titles but no, you wanted to send a message I am sure.

Lalita leans over and places her hands on the table as she glares at a now smirking Georgie who nonchalantly reaches over and pulls the crystal glass of an amber liquid toward herself then brings it up to look closely at it before she turns her eyes to Lalita.

Georgie Robertson:   Of course I could have Lalita.

Lalita:  Why didn’t you then?  You lost earlier in the night and it would have done your credit good to take the title…any title…to end the night.

Georgie Robertson:    But Lal, if I did that, it would have made those three birds insignificant and I would never hear the end of it for nickin’ the win the way I almost did.  So rather than do that, I want my win to mean something and actually, I am enjoying the mind games a bit.  Those three ‘champions’ now know that they are targets and they now have to worry once more if or rather when I am going to strike again.

Lalita looks shocked as she slowly sinks into her seat once more while Georgie brings the glass to her lips and drinks the whiskey in it.  Savouring the taste, she leans back and sighs which is unheard because of the music.

Georgie Robertson:   See Lalita, sometimes the anticipation is so much more worth it when you make one wait for it.  And if I was to be advising someone who gets annoyed with certain things…I would suggest you make him wait even longer.

Georgie takes another sip of the whiskey as Lalita turns to see William is watching the pair.  The scene fades on Lalita who lets a smirk slide over her face.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Georgie Robertson is seen standing tall and looking into a mirror that shows off her wrestling gear that she is trying on.  The tights are like a second skin as she turns this way and that to see just what she looks like.  Behind her, the curtain of the windows blow gently in the breeze of the open window.  Georgie once more faces the mirror and begins to speak to it…a pseudo promo like speech as she tries to get into the right frame of mind to face Mercedes Vargas.

Georgie Robertson:   Bloody hell.  Here I am getting ready to face Mercedes Vargas and all I can think is that she is probably rabbitin’ on about wins, losses and other word salad.  If you were to ask me why I would be worried about facing her I would have to say that it is because facing her has no real spark for me.  Oh I am sure she on about how good she is and how brilliantly she is going to be beating me.  A bloody lot of blah blah blah if you ask me.

Georgie pulls out a jacket that matches the tights.  She tosses it beside her then turns to look over her shoulder as she pulls the shirt she is wearing off her shoulders.  Coyly, she speaks once more to the mirror as if it is a confidente.

Georgie Robertson:   Honestly, I would rather face anyone other than Mercedes but one does have to give it to her.  She is quite the champion hall of famer that in all honesty she boasts of time and time and time again.  Ugh…how many times can she say the same thing over and over again and still be relevant?  If you ask me, she is about ready to be put out of all of our collective misery.  Sad state of affairs innit?

In just the tights with her back to the mirror, she reaches over and pulls the jacket up and onto her body.  With it on her shoulders, she turns to face the mirror and looks critically at the image on the surface.  The tights and jacket match and the opening barely covers her as she turns her head this way and that as she checks out her appearance.

Georgie Robertson:   Listen Mercedes, let me talk to you woman to woman.  I want you to know that I am coming to batter you this coming Sunday.  I won’t sugar coat it even for you.  Last week I lost to Seleana and trust me, I know why I did.  But see, even when losing to that bird, I had the last laugh of the night.  I wonder if you watched as I stood tall in the middle of the ring after pinning each and every bombshell champion to the mat.  Do you realize that I could have won all the bombshell titles in the span of only two minutes?

Georgie Robertson:   That is right Mercedes, I technically could be a triple champion right now if I wasn’t such a thoughtful referee last week.

Georgie offers the mirror a smile of self indulgence.

Georgie Robertson:   If not for my giving nature, I would have three very defeated champions in the company.  So I gave them mercy at Climax Control last Sunday.  But that was last Sunday.

Georgie Robertson:  This Sunday, I am not going to be so giving.  No, this Sunday I am all out of mercy when it comes to facing someone that just isn’t a challenge for me.  Oh and before you say that you are a challenge, let me stop you right there.  To be a challenge, you have to have my respect and sadly, you are nothing more than a bird with statistics and no real life to speak of.  How else can you spout all these stats?

Georgie runs a hand through her slicked dampened hair, ruffling it before tossing her head back then looking down once more, that very noticeable curl once more hiding her left eye.

Georgie Robertson:   Mercedes, when I say that this week I am going to show no mercy, it isn’t a threat.  Not at all.  I have something I need to do and well, since I personally sent the message to the champions, this week your poor battered body will be the messenger for me.  When I beat you in the ring…when I hit that one and done…I will leave you in the middle of the ring.

Georgie Robertson:   All I ask Mercedes, all I can really ever ask of you is not to bore me.  Seriously, boring me is about the only way you are going to win.  I am coming to get in my shots before I decide which title that I am going to use my golden briefcase to take.

Georgie Robertson:  Speaking of…you are a grandslam champion are you not?  Well a former one anyways.  So consider this my practice for taking a championship.  You will be my practice dummy and in the middle of the ring, I will use you, abuse you and pin your shoulders to the mat.  Maybe I will let the count hit three…or maybe I won’t for the first three or four times.  But I will tell you that in no uncertain terms…you will NOT win against me this week.  My promise to you and my message to the champions.  See you in the ring.  Just a reminder, I will be the one standing over you with my hand raised.

Saying that, Georgie turns once more and looking over her shoulder, she snaps off a snarky salute to the mirror before moving out the door and disappearing.

Grunts and moans can be heard coming from a room behind a door that is cracked open slightly.  Moving closer, a lone cameraman can be seen filming into the room where a trio appear to be training, rather two are as the third sits at a bench with a tablet in her hand, her attention on it.  The paparazzo is quiet as he pulls out a cell phone and directs it into the space to film the occupants.

Standing behind a rather large and beaten up heavy bag, William Robertson holds it steady as his sister is swinging wildly at the canvas with vicious roundhouse kicks and haymakers that seem intent on beating from the hold of Robertson.

William Robertson:  Bloody hell Georgie…when you told me you wanted  to train for this match you are in, I wasn't thinking you would be so violent.

Lalita:   Obviously Billy, you have no idea what she is going to need to do in this blood bath brawl against those other bombshells.  If I am honest, I am surprised she hasn’t drawn blood on ya.

Breathing heavily, Georgie doesn’t say anything as she continues the assault on the bag. Suddenly the sound of a message arriving is heard amid the grunts and punches landing on the canvas of the heavy bag.

 Lalita:   Bloody hell!

William Robertson:  Oy, what’s that for?

Lalita:   They pulled Georgie out of the match.

William lets go of the heavy bag just as Georgie sends it swinging into him with a wild kick.  William stumbles forward as Georgie wipes her forearm over her forehead pushing the sweaty hair out of her eyes.

Georgie Robertson:   What are you on about Lal?  It was announced on Climax Control that I was in the bloody bloodbath match.

William Robertson:  Yeah, that has been what we have been training her for Lalita.  Quit funning us.

Lalita:  I wish I were.  I have the email right here.

Georgie Robertson:   What does it say Lal?

Lalita:  It says that you were taken out of the bombshell blood bath brawl and have been given an easy match…in my opinion if you were to ask me.  Tossin’ ya at a new bombshell like you are a throw away match filler.

Georgie moves towards Lalita with bad intentions as the cameraman continues to film them, the audio catching the cursing coming from William who had fallen to the floor and was sitting there, his elbows on his knees as Georgie looks over the shoulder of Lalita who looks up at her friend.

Lalita:   What are you going to do Georgie?

An angered Georgie moves back to the heavy bag and slams a fist into it.

Georgie Robertson:   What can I do yeah?  I guess I am going to be beating the bloody hell out of a bird and ending her career before it even begins.

 Lalita:  But Georgie…

Georgie Robertson:    Let it go Lal.  I don’t want to rabbit on about it anymore.  I’ll see you later.

Georgie heads towards the door where the paparazzo scrambles to get out of there only to be caught filming as Georgie slams the door open

Georgie Robertson:     Who the hell are you?  Wait…

Georgie takes in the camera in his hand and grabs him by the shirtfront with a smile.

Georgie Robertson:  Come with me…

Georgie pulls him after her as she heads towards a locker room down the hall.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

A wall of pictures is seen behind Georgie Robertson who has a pair of boxing gloves draped over her shoulders, her hair is a rather sweaty mess and a smirk on her face.

Georgie Robertson:   Let me make this quick.  I have to say that I am disappointed in what has happened and sad to say that means that I am going to be coming to My Bloody Valentine with the hump.

Georgie leans forward, the hair falling over her left eye as she tilts her head as if fighting to control her temper.

Georgie Robertson:   And what that may mean for Taylor Sweet is that I am going to batter you bloody because I am pissed.  And it is no fault of yours that this is going to happen.  You see, I was preparing for a match that someone of my skill level would be ready for.  But then you had to show up with wanting to join the rest of the birds in the bombshell division and rather than give you an opponent that was not scheduled for a match, you made management take me out of the match I was ready for.  I don’t know if you were being a mug or not but that is neither here nor there because I…

Georgie pauses for a moment before once more speaking.

Georgie Robertson:   I am ready to smash you in their stead.  You just turned up in the wrong place at the wrong time Taylor and that means your very first match may bloody well be your last.

Georgie Robertson:   And let me tell you something else…or rather send a message using your body for all the other birds in the division and management.  Don’t piss me about otherwise people are going to get hurt yeah.  This is not a threat, this is a bloody promise.

With that, Georgie gets to her feet and then moves to the cameraman who is filming and blocks out his camera sending the view to black.

Climax Control Archives / Insert catchy title here...Love Georgie
« on: January 19, 2024, 11:07:08 PM »
An empty room can be seen, the rather sleek glass topped desk and black chair sitting in a corner of windows with the SCW Bombshell Golden briefcase resting on it.  A soft click is heard as a pair of people move into the room.  Swinging the door wide, William Robertson and Lalita move into the room.  Lalita is trying to beat William to the desk and manages to sit in the chair but is not quick enough to grab the briefcase before William grabs it.

William Robertson:  Too slow Lal.  It’s mine now.

Lalita:   If Georgie was here she would bash ya bruv.  She treasures that briefcase.  Claims it was the best Christmas gift she got this past year.

William smirks as he taunts Lalita who is reaching for the briefcase.  He holds up a hand as the case is held away from Lalita who growls and crosses her arms over her chest.  William moves to the chair and motions for Lalita to vacate it.  She slouches more into it as William leans down with one arm over the back of it.

William Robertson:  Darlin’ you need to be moving and let me sit down so I can have a bit of a butcher’s at what is in the case.

Lalita:   It is a contract for a title match ya mug.  You don’t need to look at it.

William Robertson:  Oh but I do Lal.  I would only be looking out for my sister after all.  Besides, she might want me to read over the contract to make sure that she is not messed around.

Lalita:   If Georgie catches ya…I want to watch what she will do to ya and trust me I will laugh so much Billy Blue eyes.

William scoffs as once more he motions for Lalita to vacate the chair.  She gets to her feet and then moves to the window while William sits and then lays the briefcase on the desk.  He wiggles his fingers as he prepares to open the case.  What he doesn’t see is Georgie who as approached the door.  Lalita sees her and then grins as she crosses her arms once more and leans back against the wall to watch what is about to occur.

William manages to open the case and is about to reach inside it when Georgie puts her hand against the open case and slams it shut.  William is barely able to save his fingers with a shout of outrage before looking up to see that it is Georgie.

Georgie Robertson:   And just what do you bloody think you are doing Billy blue eyes?

William Robertson:  I was just looking to see that the contract was in the case Georgie.

Lalita:  Yeah, he wanted to see who you were going to challenge using that contract.

William Robertson:  Nah…I know who you would be challenging.  The world bombshell champion yeah?

Georgie Robertson:   Are you sure about that?

Lalita:  I am sure that Georgie is playing that close to her chest Billy.

Georgie spins the case around and opens it to pull out the contract and then waves it in the face of William who reaches up for it.  Georgie pulls it away from him and waggles her finger at him.  Lalita lets a laugh escape before she covers her lips.

Lalita:  Wow.  You better just give it up Billy.  Georgie will decide who she is facing and when and will let us know when she is going to cash in.

William snorts angrily as he stands and moves around the desk.  He is about to say something but Georgie stops him by holding up her hand before he can say anything.  Angrily, he storms out of the room muttering to himself as Georgie and Lalita laugh at his tantrum.  Georgie once more puts the contract in the briefcase and closes it.

Georgie Robertson:   Now that was fun.  But you really have to be more assertive Lal.  Billy has you wrapped around his finger.

 Lalita:  Not bloody likely George…

Georgie Robertson:    I just saw you and him before I came into the room…

Lalita:  Whatever Georgie…and here I was gong to help you prepare for your match to cut a promo.

Lalita give Georgie a glare before she storms towards the door.  Georgie grins back and waves her finger at her friend who just throws up her hands and leaves the room.

Georgie Robertson:   Don’t go away mad Lal.

Lalita:  Not my circus, not my monkey…

Georgie Robertson:   Now that those two are gone…

Georgie closes the case and leans back.  She puts her hands behind her head and kicks her feet up onto the desk.  As she does, Lalita comes back into the room and puts her hands on the desk.

Lalita:  Georgie I just have one question for you.  Do you know what a pain in the arse is?

Georgie Robertson:   Yeah…why?

 Lalita just smirks.

Lalita:  Because you are one.  Now that I told you that, I want you to listen to my advice about your match this week…

Georgie pulls her feet from the desk and then stands to lean towards Lalita and puts a finger against her lips to stop her from talking.  She leans even closer and smirks at her friend.

Georgie Robertson:   Stop trying to tell me what to do…I don’t listen.

The pair look at each other for a moment before dissolving into laughter as the scene fades to black..

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

A large chair can be seen swinging slightly back and forth as a soft humming can be heard from behind it.  Suddenly a hand appears, moving in time with the hum as if it is conducting music.  A cough is given by the man who had moved into the room where the humming is coming from making the hand pause and the humming stop.  Slowly, the chair spins around to reveal Georgianna Robertson dressed in a black business suit with what looks like a bustier of red satin peeking through the buttoned-up jacket.  A smile breaks across her face as she leans back in the chair and steeples her fingers in front of her lips as she contemplates the cameraman.

Georgie Robertson:   Right on time and I am so ready for you…to record what I need to say this week.

One curl hangs over her left eye rakishly as the cameraman gulps at her comment.  He reaches down for the case that is sitting where he set it on the floor.  He mumbles something about getting ready for what he assumes is a promo from Georgie,  Bending over, he pulls out the camera and then straightens to turn to Georgie who has crossed her legs and tilts her head to nod her permission for him to begin to film her.  He brings the camera up, presses play and then motions for Georgie to begin to speak.

Georgie Robertson:   Well, it is time for my second match of this year and already I am coming into the match with a loss.  Granted I did lose only because I was let down by management who failed to give me enough notice that I had that match that I lost to Bella Madison.  Oh, when I questioned it I was informed that it was advertised on social media to which I informed management that I am not on social media.  But that is neither here nor there I suppose.  It just means that I have plausible deniability when it comes to the loss.  I am woman enough though not to bitch and moan about the loss like some people I could name…<cough>Krystal Wolfe <cough>

Georgie winks as she covers her mouth during the cough.  The camera shakes slightly as the cameraman chuckles at the patently faked cough.

Georgie Robertson:   But like I said, I can take that loss.  It just means that I am going to have to crack on with getting back to my winning ways.  And it all starts this week when I am in the ring with Mercedes Vargas.

Georgie Robertson:   Now Mercedes, I am sure that you are probably going to rabbit on about how bad my record in Sin City Wrestling is.  After all that is what I have heard about you…that you are the historian here in this company with statistics and more about everyone in SCW.  So go ahead Mercedes…crack on with your informing everyone that would be within hearing about my losing record.  I can’t wait to hear it…oh wait…

Georgie holds up a hand asking for a second to do something.  She reaches to the floor and pulls up the golden briefcase and sets it beside her on the chair and leans an elbow onto it with that hand moving to rest under her cheek.

Georgie Robertson:   Okay, I am ready now.  I am sure you are going to mention how I have more losses than wins.  But will you acknowledge that when it comes to clutch wins, I tend to win those matches?

Georgie Robertson:  Like how I won the match at December two Dismember in the Bombshell Golden Briefcase match.  Did you see it Mercedes…I climbed that ladder and I achieved something that very few people have…I won the Golden Briefcase that will give me a title match of my choice.  It also gives me that cachet of every title holder watching over their shoulders because none of them will see me coming will they?  I have a full year to decide which title I want to take.

Georgie runs her other hand over the briefcase in a slow circular motion before looking up at the camera once more.

Georgie Robertson:   But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.  This week at Climax Control I get to face someone for the very first time.  Someone that one might say has done it all and then some.  A hall of fame member who has won title after title and is still being given title opportunities that are more pity than deserved if you ask me.  I am sure you will hear that and then bite back with a knock on my record.  And if that is all you have, then you are just going to bore me in the ring.  I am saying that you need to make me want to face you.

Georgie sucks her bottom lip in and bites it slightly with a look of contempt.  The cameraman brings the camera closer which has Georgie laughing.  She leans on the briefcase and addresses the camera again.

Georgie Robertson:   Did I hurt your feelings saying that Mercedes?  I am sorry if the truth hurts and it is the truth for me when I say that you have nothing to really excites me for this match.  Oh I am sure that you would scare any other bombshell when it is announced that you are facing them but that is where they and I differ.  I don’t scare easily Mercedes.

Georgie Robertson:  But let me add this to what you need to realize for this week when you face me on Climax Control.  I know for a fact that I am facing you and I know for a fact that you haven’t had that good of a record yourself.  I happened to see your little primer that was posted…thanks to my friend Lalita who watches for anything that is posted by my opponents and keeps me in the loop.  Now, given that information, I know you are more focused on you.  Lal suggested I was only maybe worth two sentences while you touted you like you were some kind of wunderkind.  Do you know what that tells me?.

Georgie Robertson:   The only thing you really know about me is my record and not much else.  This could be quite a disadvantage now that you are scheduled to face me one on one in the middle of the ring.  You have no clue what I could be capable of when it comes to this match.  Could I care less about beating you or will I want to make you pay for underestimating me?  Will I step into the ring and taunt you with this..

Georgie lightly taps at the briefcase with a teasing smile.

Georgie Robertson:  Or I might just do that anyway but then I will put this case to the side and then when the bell rings, just batter ya and leave you in the middle of the ring in a lump yeah?  Whatever I decide that I want to do, you will have no chance but to deal with the loss that I intend to give you.  And trust me Mercedes…you will be given another loss.

Georgie’s smile fades as if she was bored of the conversation she is having with the camera.  The cameraman moves his head from behind the camera as Georgie looks away.

Georgie Robertson:  Do you know what…I am tired of this now.  I have nothing else to say to Mercedes Vargas other than see you Sunday.  I will be the one standing over you when you are pinned to the canvas.  Come closer…

The cameraman brings the camera closer and Georgie leans up as if she is about to share a secret with the cameraman but instead moves her hand up to send the view of the camera to black.  The cameraman lets out a grunt of surprise as Georgie smirks then wheels the chair backwards and once more spins to block her from the view of the cameraman.  Her hand moves out from behind the chair and waves off the cameraman who grabs his case and then backs out of the room leaving Georgie to herself. Slipping out of the room, he stops at the door and looks towards Georgie who is once more humming to herself before pulling it closed.

Footsteps can be heard on the hardwood floor of the apartment where Georgie Robertson lives, the soft pitter patter of bare feet moving with purpose towards another room in the dark.  Suddenly a light brightens the room which has the mysterious person squinting against the suddenness of the light.

Georgie Robertson:   Oy…warn a person willya!

Lalita:   What are you doing up at this time Georgie?  It’s like…half three!

Georgie looks across the room, her eyes narrowing as she looks at the decorative clock on the mantle then back at her friend Lalita who has pulled a silken robe over her forearms, her feet tucked into a pair of slippers and the light silk pajama pants that are slung low on her hips under a crop top.

Georgie Robertson:   I couldn’t sleep.  So I thought I would take a butchers in the kitchen for a snack, specifically ice lollies that I am sure that you bought.

Lalita:  Ice lollies?  Are you daft?  It is winter time there Georg…

Lalita pulls the robe up and moves towards Georgie who is in a satin babydoll and booty shorts.  Tapping a finger against the forehead of Georgie, Lalita laughs.

Lalita:  I don’t have ice lollies but I do have some fruitcake that my nan sent me.  I might be persuaded to share some if you’re nice to me.

Georgie Robertson:   Fruitcake from your nan…yes please!  Taste of home innit?  I am down for some of that.

Lalita:  You always are when it comes to my nan’s baking.

The pair head into the kitchen and Lalita opens a cupboard and pulls down a tin with images of London England on it.  Opening it, Georgie catches a whiff of the candied fruit as she passes behind Lalita to fill a kettle then sets it to boil before grabbing an open box of PG Tips to make tea.  Turning and leaning against the counter, Lalita braces her elbows on it as watches Georgie who runs a hand through her sleep(less) tousled hair and lets her head fall back to look upward.

Lalita:  Okay spill Georgie, you don’t usually have sleepless nights like this.

Leaning against her side of the counter, Georgie turns her head towards Lalita and sighs.  Straightening up, she reaches out for the now boiled kettle and pours the hot water over the teabags in the cup.

Georgie Robertson:   I guess you could say that it is that time of year and be done with it.  I used to love Christmas but losing me mum’s dad on Christmas eve  just put a bit of a downer on my season.  Now I am expected to be all happy and go lucky and in the mood for giving when all I want to do is just hang back, and do nothin’.  And if that ain’t bloody stupid, now I have this Sin City Wrestling supercard where I am in a match with a ladder and three bombshells that I could care less about.  Oh sure, I talk a good game but none of those birds really inspire me ye ken?

Lalita:  Of course I do.  Hell I have heard that Krystal Wolfe rabbiting on about how you are a multi time loser…

Georgie Robertson:     Yeah, twist that knife some more why don’t you?

Lalita:  Honestly, who lets someone like that bird in wrestling?  I heard that she was possessed or some such nonsense.  And that it was all a cover to justify how much of a…

The word Lalita spoke was drowned out by the slamming of the cupboard door by Georgie who rolls her eyes and turns on Lalita.

Georgie Robertson:   I ain’t wanting to talk about her yeah.  My night is already ruined and you have to talk about Krystal like I pay attention to anything she says.

Lalita:  I am only talkin’ about what she keeps saying about you.  She’s a broken record with only one note and that is all.

Georgie Robertson:   While you are at it, why not talk about Seleana or Luna…

The sarcasm is not lost on Lalita who picks up her cup and sips at the tea.  She smiles into her cup as she takes in the anger on Georgie’s face.  Pushing the tin of fruitcake towards Georgie, she leans an elbow on the counter and smiles at her friend.

Lalita:  All right then Georgie, let’s talk then.

Before she can continue, Georgie holds up a hand and lets a rather large yawn escape her lips.  Lalita turns her head to the side as Georgie takes some cake and her cuppa and heads out of the kitchen letting her voice drift back to Lalita who just chuckles

Georgie Robertson:   Let’s not Lal…for some reason I am getting so tired.  I suspect that you bored me to exhaustion given you were talking about Krystal and I just couldn’t work up the interest.  G’night Lal, thanks for the cake.

Georgie raises the cake in a toasting motion as she walks out of the kitchen and disappears into the hallway leading to the bedrooms.  Lalita remains in the kitchen and listens as a door opens and closes in the distance.

 Lalita:  Night Georgie.

Lalita whispers into the now empty room before once more sipping on her tea as she walks to the light switch and turns it off before leaving the room.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

A large throne is seen with a jolly Father Christmas sitting on it.  There is a line of children who are waiting to sit on his lap and given him their Christmas wishes.  Standing nearby is Georgie Robertson, dressed in a black dress with thigh high boots and a silver choker around her neck with red ribbon woven into it.  The last child talks to Santa then rushes away to their parent. Georgie moves forward to the man and then stops right in front him which prompts him to ask what she might want before looking to see a cameraman who waves slowly from behind the camera.

Georgie Robertson:   Well, I thought I would come and tell you what I want for Christmas given that you are Father Christmas yeah?

He nods and pats his lap before motioning for Georgie to move closer.  She climbs towards him then sets herself on his lap and crossing one leg over the other.  The Santa runs a hand along his collar as Georgie wiggles slightly to get comfortable.  With a cough, he asks her what she wants for Christmas.

Georgie Robertson:   First, I would like a new bottle of Chanel and a pair of Louboutins.  And there is this leather coat that I have been wanting for the longest time.

Santa nods and is about to reach for a candy cane in a bucket near his throne as Georgie speaks again.

Georgie Robertson:   But Father Christmas, I really want to actually ask for something for before Christmas.  See, I am in a match for Sin City Wrestling’s upcoming December to Dismember.  A golden briefcase that will be hanging over the ring.  To win it I need to climb a ladder and grab the case.  Now I know that I have not really had quite the record that I should have but I want to end the year with a win if you could.

Georgie Robertson:  I mean I suppose you could say that the others in the match will definitely be those that will want to stop me and there is one who actually talks like I am not even a challenge.  So could I also ask you to give her a gift too?  Seeing as it is the season of giving and all.  I want you to gift her a clue that she is not the end all and be all in this match.  She should really be a bit more humble.  Yes, she has been a champion before and she can back up her talk but recently she has decided to just coast on her laurels and I am sure that she would love to rest on laurel if you know what I mean.  But I want her to realize too that just because she gets cocky about it or complains that she shouldn’t even be in the match because she should be challenging for the Bombshell World title.  She lost the qualifier and now is just bitching about every little thing about this match and not being in the title match.  I would think that any match she would be in, she would see as a challenge.

Georgie lays a finger against the cheek of Santa and smiles.

Georgie Robertson:   I wouldn’t want to disappoint Krystal in any way except one.  I want her to be able to watch and do nothing as I climb the ladder and claim the briefcase.  Do nothing and like it that I finally did what she said I couldn’t and that is beat her.   After all, she is the one that I am seeing as the biggest challenge in this match.

Georgie Robertson:  And then there is Luna who has been rather quiet about her part in this match.  She hasn’t really been any kind of visible when it comes to even promoting herself in this match and if I am honest, I think that I would ask you to give her some personality or a voice at least so she could actually talk about this match and not give up before it even happens.

Santa looks at the cameraman who shrugs as Georgie thinks about her next comment.  A slow smile crosses her lips as she once more turns her attention to Santa.

Georgie Robertson:  And last but not least, Seleana Zdunich who has recently had some rather poor showings when it comes to wrestling matches.  She doesn’t really seem to be on her game when it comes to challenges like this.  If I didn’t know better, I would say that she has more on her mind than wrestling.  Maybe what she needs is some time to get things straight in her life then come back with more focus.  But I could be wrong yeah?

Santa nods as Georgie leans an arm on his shoulder and leans closer to him so that his nose can scent the Chanel perfume she is wearing.  She lightly tugs at the fake beard of the Santa noting that he isn’t as old as he is dressed like.  Georgie smirks and nuzzles against his ear.

Georgie Robertson:   I hope you can help me with this Santa.  I have been very naughty when it comes to my matches but I so want to be a good girl when it comes to climbing that ladder and winning this match.

Georgie Robertson:  After all I think it is about time that I get a win don’t you think?  So please Santa…all I want for Christmas is a win on Sunday at December to Dismember.  Think you could give me that for a present?

Santa swallows deeply as Georgie flirts with him.  The cameraman continues to film but can’t hear what Georgie has leaned in to whisper into the ear of Santa.  Once she finishes, she stands up and adjusts her dress then walks away after handing something to Santa.  He looks down at what appears to be a phone number then up at the now disappearing Georgie.  The camera follows her until she disappears then turns back to see Santa with an iphone that he is tapping the screen of to enter her number as the scene fades out.

The tinny sounds of Christmas music is barely heard over the sounds of people talking, children screaming and the odd shouts of teens to their friends.  Stepping into the cacophony is a pair of women who just share a glance then straighten their shoulders, they move further into the corridor that shows a long line of stores on either side of it.

Georgie Robertson:  Tell me again Lal, why have you decided that today had to be the day you needed to bring me here?

Lalita:   Last year Georgie, we was gettin’ lost in Harrods.  This year you have to stay here in America so Harrods is out.  So here we are.  I figured you might want to get your shopping done for Christmas.

Georgie turns to Lalita who is dressed in a pair of dark pants, black boots and a black leather jacket over a red teeshirt.  The reflection of a mirror in the shop window behind Lalita shows Georgie wearing a green jumper, black converse and blue jeans with her hair slicked back and a loose curl hanging over her left eye.

Georgie Robertson:   Shopping done for Christmas hmmm.  Now that you mention it, there are a few things I might pick up for some people.  After all it is the season for giving and all…

Lalita:  There’s the Christmas spirit I knew you would feel.  So where to first?

The pair moves towards a store directory showing the map of the floors in the mall that the two were currently in.  Georgie puts her finger up on the lighted window.  She runs it down, pulls it away with a grimace then rubs it against her thumb.

Lalita:  That bad huh?  Here, just use this.

Lalita hands a tissue to Georgie who uses it to wipe the grime from her fingers before balling it and tossing it into the garbage beside the directory.  Turning back to the images, Georgie makes note of a couple of stores and then with a smile, she points towards an escalator and motions for Lalita to follow her.

Georgie Robertson:   I have the first place we need to shop.  Come on.

 Lalita:  Lead on Georgie.

The pair ride the escalator then move along a corridor until the two stand in front of a Sephora store where the faint mix of perfume wafts out.  Lalita’s eyebrow raises as Georgie rubs her hands together and then begins to walk inside.  As she does, Lalita puts a hand on Georgie’s arm halting her for a moment.  The young Brit turns to her friend with a quizzical look in her eyes.

Lalita:  Who are you buying for in this shop?  I don’t need any make up and neither do you.

Georgie Robertson:   That’s true.  I decided that I would be getting some special gifts while we are out and given who these are for, it might just be something I can rabbit about the upcoming supercard while I do it.

Lalita:  Ahhh you have a method to this madness I suppose.

Georgie Robertson:   When don’t I?

Lalita can’t help but laugh as Georgie links her arm with Lalita’s and the two move into Sephora. Georgie moves towards the makeup sets that are against the back wall.  Once there, Georgie begins to look over the different sets as Lalita watches, her hand reaching into her jacket inside pocket and pulls out a phone that she plays with for a moment then holds up to record Georgie.

Lalita: So Georgie, you were rabbiting on about buying gifts for some special people.  Who is getting the gift of makeup eh?  Wait, don’t tell me…Krystal Wolfe, right?

Georgie Robertson:   No, you couldn’t be more wrong.

Lalita:  Bloody hell…I was sure you were buying the makeup so Krystal could “make up” her mind…

Georgie Robertson:   Funny that Lal.  But no.  This makeup is for Seleana Zdunich.  Considering that she needs to make up her mind about actually worrying about what is right in front of her instead of looking past this match and to challenging the champion.  And if I am honest Lalita…I am so bloody tired of hearing about her soap opera life.  If you ask me, she talks more about her wife than talking about her opponents.  I don’t know if she is a mouthpiece for her wife or doesn’t have a life outside of her marriage.  It’s like Towie but with more drama.

Picking up a small makeup kit, Georgie smiles and holds it out to Lalita who is still filming her.  The two go to the cashier and Georgie purchases the kit.  The sales girl hands her a Sephora bag that Georgie swings as she turns to Lalita.

Georgie Robertson:   Well that is one gift down.  Now let’s go and see what else we can pick up for my opponents.  After all, would not want the others to feel left out, would we?

Lalita:  Of course not Georgie.  That ain’t you.

The pair laugh as they exit Sephora and move along the corridor again.  Lalita continues to hold the phone but it is down by her waist as the pair head towards the Hot Topic store that Georgie had spotted from the floor above it.  Grabbing the free hand of Lalita, Georgie pulls her along towards an elevator and presses the down button.

Georgie Robertson:   Next stop, Hot Topic.

Lalita:  Hot Top…okay, explain Georgie.  Who are we shopping for at Hot Topic?

The elevator doors swoosh open and Georgie moves as a woman with a pram and two children holding onto it exit the car.  Once it is empty, the two brits walk inside and Lalita presses the number of the floor below them.  The doors slowly close as the glass-enclosed elevator moves downward then stops to let Georgie and Lalita exit.  The two women move towards Hot Topic and inside.  They make their way deeper inside as Georgie looks around for something.

Lalita:  So this time is Krystal right?

Georgie shakes her head negatively as she moves deeper into the store.  Suddenly she spies what she has been looking for.

Georgie Robertson:   I knew it.  This is perfect for Luna.

 Lalita:  What?

Georgie turns as she shakes out a purplish tee with the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland on it.  Looking proud, Georgie shakes it in front of her as Lalita brings up her phone and begins to film Georgie who is smiling widely.

Georgie Robertson:   Isn’t it bloody bril Lal?  Describes Luna to a tee.

Lalita:  It says not all there…Georgie why would you say it is bloody brilliant?

Georgie Robertson:   Oh come on Lalita…Have you seen Luna lately?  She is so emo that this girly colour would not match her esthetic.  And besides, given that she is a former champion and should be smart enough to think that this golden briefcase match will give her a free ride to take a title match, she definitely is not all there.

Lalita:  We don’t know what she thinks Georgie.  I think you better take this more seriously.

Georgie looks at Lalita who nods slowly.  Georgie puts the shirt back then starts looking for other pastel tees and items until finally picking up a pair of socks with Eeyore on them.

Georgie Robertson:   Perfect.  Nothing like socks for the person who doesn’t know what to get for people.  And with Eeyore on them, would be the best bloody gift to get for someone that will be losing.  After all, he is as depressed as Luna will be once the match is over.

Lalita:  Oh Georgie…is that fair to say?

Georgie Robertson:   Maybe not but then again…might be the most honest I could be when rabbiting about Luna.

Georgie is about to leave but stops as she sees a Sex Pistols tee that she rushes towards.  The Anarchy in the U.K shirt makes the brit smile as she digs through the folded shirts to find her size.  With her prize achieved, she heads to pay for the pair then slips the Hot Topic bag onto the same arm that is holding the Sephora bag.

Georgie Robertson:   Now we only have one gift left to find…can’t forget Krystal.  We are off to find the only thing we can buy for her.

Lalita:  And what is that Georgie?

Georgie Robertson:   You will see.

Georgie moves back to the store directory looking for the name of one certain store.  Finally, she locates it and then turns in the direction to find it.  Lalita follows slowly, now filming the actions of Georgie as she is intent on finding the final store.  Lalita is surprised when they stop outside of a kiosk in the middle of the mall.  Lalita gives a smiling Georgie a side eyed glance which gets a wink from Robertson.

Georgie Robertson:   Now, I know what you are thinking Lal.  What could I possibly buy for Krystal Wolfe in this shop.  Well come with me and I will show you.

 Lalita:  This should be brill

Approaching the kiosk, Georgie makes her way to the ring section where mood rings can be seen.  Picking up a rather gaudy ring, Georgie turns and shows it to Lalita.

Georgie Robertson:   Tell me that Krystal doesn’t need one of these.

Lalita:  What is the purpose of getting Krystal a mood ring Georgie?  To tell when she is happy or pissed?

Georgie Robertson:   Well obviously Krystal needs one.  She has no clue just what kind of mood she has.  Back when she was ‘possessed’ she was one way and then she turned good…or she tried if I am honest.  But one little loss and she turned back into the whiney mug we all knew she was to begin with.  And it is only getting more predictable.  So we just need to get her something that will signify her actions.

Lalita:  But a mood ring is not a personality give away…it is a just a thermometer for kids to play with.

Georgie Robertson:   You know that and I know that.  But as much as Krystal talks a big game, all she is and will ever be is a big baby.  Now that we have this done, I want to get out of this place and back to the apartment.  You with me Lal?

 Lalita:  Lead on.

The pair pay for the mood ring then head towards the exit of the mall.  Leaving the doorway, Georgie and Lalita move to a rather dark Astin Martin that is parked nearby.  Stepping up to it, Georgie takes the keys and opens it setting the bags on the seat then opens her driver side door.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The scene opens on Georgie Robertson sitting in a red velvet dress with candy cane-coloured tights and red sparkling shoes looking like one of Father Christmas’ little helpers.  She has her hair curled around her ears and a rosy glow on her face.  She smiles at the camera as she begins to speak.

Georgie Robertson:  Well, it is getting to look a lot like Christmas isn’t it?  And of course, that means a final supercard of the year called December two Dismember.  Quite the evocative name, isn’t it?  The name of the supercard giving lie to the season of giving being jolly and bright.  When hearing that name, all you can picture is pain and suffering one would think.

Looking to the side of the wingback chair she is sitting in, she spies a large cup of hot chocolate that she picks up and takes a sip from.  Moaning softly at the taste, her eyes close as she enjoys the flavour before setting the cup to the side once more.

Georgie Robertson:   I guess we should be talking about this match that I have been put into and put down for.  The golden briefcase ladder match that will see Seleana Zdunich, Luna and Krystal Wolfe and I vying for a contract to challenge for any title the winner would like to challenge for.  And already we have heard from the opponents in this match.

Georgie Robertson:   Now I could talk about how they seem to think that they shouldn’t talk about their opponents and more about their wife but that would be too easy wouldn’t it Seleana.  So instead let me talk about how you seem to think that I and the other women in this match are lazy and won’t be any challenge to you at all.  Seems that you don’t want to even put in the effort to talk about who you will have to contend with in the match.  How you are ready for the match.  Well bravo Seleana, I hope you are really as ready for this match as you talk about considering that you seem more distracted than anything in defending your wife.

Georgie stops and with a self-deprecating smile, smacks herself on the forehead gently.

Georgie Robertson:   So sorry Seleana.  I said that I wouldn’t talk about how you talk about your wife and defend her instead of talking about the match at hand.  Forgive me.

Georgie Robertson:   Then of course we have Krystal Wolfe.  Talking the talk like she is Queen Shite of Poo Isle.  Listening to her makes my head hurt.  A year ago she was possessed and was saved.  Then she began her road to redemption and talked like she was some kind of milquetoast grateful to have been saved and resolved to be a hero.  Damned lies I tell you.  I saw through them back in the day but did anyone listen…no they did not.  And here we are, the vitriol she spews is once again the litany of how she loses due to overconfidence and how many times that she should be given title shots that she loses out on.  Honestly, who else but Krystal would do something like that?

Giving the camera a wink then an innocent look as if questioning the person behind the lens on the truth of her comment.

Georgie Robertson:   Hearing her winge about how lucky her opponent got to beat her and that she has to suffer being in this match.  If she was so disappointed being put in this match then why doesn’t she just pull herself out of the match?  But no, that would be too easy to do which would then not give her reason to complain about being put in the match.  Oh the bloody shite that she is spewing…just give up Krystal.  Everyone is on to your mood swings by now.  It is almost like one could say it is that time of the month all the time for you.    It is enough to give one a headache from the whiplash.

Georgie reaches up and self consciously rubs at the back of her neck.

Georgie Robertson:   Lastly I suppose I should talk about Luna and the fact that she has been put in this match as well.  Now hearing that she was, I tried my best not to get concerned.  And til now, she hasn’t really made herself known in talking about the match but that isn’t going to mean that she isn’t taking this seriously and I am sure she is.  But will it mean that if she comes late to the party, she is going to be the spoiler?  No, it will mean that I will have prepared for her too.

Georgie Robertson:  For you see, these birds are thinking that I am the one that will be losing.  Given my record against Krystal, she is confident that I am not a threat.  And crack on with those thoughts Krystal because when I faced you before, I wasn’t really wanting the win as much as I do now.  Considering that I have heard enough of the talk of how much I am a loser, how much I am a nothing…How much I am not a challenge.

The elfish look on her face fades as her eyes harden and her smile becomes more menacing.

Georgie Robertson:  Go ahead, believe that I am not going to be a challenge in the match.  See, when you do that, when you underestimate me that is when I am the most dangerous.  I don’t have to be worried about any of you thinking that I wouldn’t pose a threat.  And when it comes down to the very essence of this match, it is a ladder to climb.  Just like I have to climb out of the losing streak you see me having, I am going to climb the ladder in the ring and I will take possession of the Golden Briefcase.

Georgie Robertson:  And once I do that, I will have a year to claim whatever title my dark little heart would like to challenge for.  Maybe I should wait until one of the former champions in this match regain their titles.  Ohhh wouldn’t it be ironic if Krystal whined her way into a title shot that she very luckily wins the title in only to have me use the Golden Briefcase to take it away from her?

Georgie’s smile returns as she once more reaches for the hot chocolate beside her. She looks at it then at the camera as she raises the cup.

Georgie Robertson:    Cheers to you birds and let me give you my wishes of good luck.

She pulls the cup back and brings it to her lips and sips at it, a white mustache of whipped cream framing her lips.  The tip of her tongue runs along her lips cleaning the cream from them

Georgie Robertson:  I will see you at December two Dismember ladies.  Don’t be disappointed when I beat you, this win will be my Christmas gift to myself so Happy Christmas to me.

With that, she once again offers a toastlike motion with the hot chocolate before the scene fades out on her sipping at the drink once more.

Georgie Robertson moves slowly through a gym, her eyes covered by a pair of dark glasses and her short dark hair is falling over her eyes in a rather messy look.  Over one shoulder is a denim jacket that covers a rather ripped shirt that hides a halter.  Tights and high top converse shoes complete the outfit.  Beside her, Lalita is dressed in a business casual suit that hugs her curves, an ipad in her arms as she moves towards the bench in front of the weight bench.

Georgie Robertson:   Tell me again what you are rabbitin’ on about Lalita.

Lalita:   Your granddad has me looking into casinos here in Vegas.  He is wanting to get a night out to play at one.  I don’t think that he will want to go to the one that we go to.  I suspect he is worried about being recognized there.

Georgie scoffs as she sets the jacket down on the bench beside Lalita then backs away to begin to stretch out her muscles.  Lalita sits down and then swipes her finger over the screen and pulls up the camera app and points the lens at Georgie who looks up before shaking her head.

Georgie Robertson:   Nah Lal…no recording this.  I just want a day where it is only training and talk.  I am so tired of living in this fish bowl.  Today is just you and me and working out for the  match.  You know…strategizing.

Lalita:  Is that why we are the only ones here?

Lalita motions around the empty gym where the only two people in the room are her and Georgie.  Rolling her neck, Georgie can only smile at her friend as she moves towards the mirror and continues to stretch out her arms.  Lalita sets the ipad down and stands to move towards Georgie.  She stretches her arms over her head and then cracks her neck as she looks at Georgie in the mirror.

Lalita:  So what are you wanting to discuss?  And do you need me to change to help you train?

Georgie Robertson:   Oh no Lalita…I am going to do this myself today.  I want you to just sit there and listen.  Well, I also need your ipad for my playlist for this training.

Lalita:  Okay Georgie…tell me when you are ready.

Georgie nods as she moves to the barbell rack and then sets herself under the bar after checking the weights on either side.  Lowering the bar onto her shoulders, she moves out and begins to do weighted squats as she thinks.  Lalita watches her, not letting Georgie see that she is recording.

Lalita:  So crack on Georgie.  Talk out your strategy for this match coming up at High Stakes.

Georgie Robertson:   Honestly Lal…I am not sure just what kind of strategy I could use for this match.  I mean I know what I could strategize against one opponent will definitely not work on the other.  I know what I would have to do but can I combine both?

Lalita:  What are you on about?  Two different strategies needed?  Honestly, I think the only competition you have is the champion so you have to plan how you are going to neutralize the champion’s advantage in this match.

Georgie Robertson:     Don’t be like that Lal.  Just focusing on one of the competitors could make it a mistake to ignore my other opponent.

Lalita:  Yeah?  Your other opponent is Bea Barnhart.  From what I know, she isn’t that strong of a competitor.  More like she talks a good game but when it comes to winning matches, she ain’t got a chance.

Georgie Robertson:   She has the same record as I do Lal.

Lalita:  Yeah but she sin’t got what you do now.

Georgie Robertson:   And what is that Lal?

Georgie straightens up and moves to rest the bar back on the rack then turns back to her friend.  Lalita lowers the ipad and offers a raised eyebrow at Georgie as if she was not thinking.

Georgie Robertson:   What?!!?

Lalita:  Georgie, you are getting better and better and now that your granddad has given you the permission to make your wrestling the priority, you should not have any limits.

Turning to look back at Lalita, Georgie just shakes her head as Lalita blushes at being caught filming.  Shaking her head, Georgie moves to another area of the rack and then with a slight jump, she grabs the pull up bar and begins to swing her legs back and forth before walking on air as she pulls herself upwards.

Georgie Robertson:   Lalita, I am going to be getting ready for this match and regardless of what Bea Barnhart or Alexandra Calaway says.  This is going to be my chance to actually win a title in this company.  And this time I am not going to be nonchalant about it.  It will be my time at High Stakes.

Lalita:  That is what I want to hear Georgie.  I will leave you to train.  I have some work to do.

Lalita turns away and then pulling her leg up on the bench, she leans into the mirrored corner to rest her back on it as she begins to swipe at the screen.  Across from her, Georgie is continuing to work out.  Dropping from the bar, she moves to the barbells that are on a stand and grabbing a pair, she moves to the mirror and begins with some curls as music begins to play from the ipad on Lalita’s lap.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Darkness is seen as the sounds of footsteps can be heard.  A door opens and the loud thunk of a lightswitch being turned on fills the now lit up room that reveals a large roulette wheel that is very familiar to fans of SCW.  Walking towards it, William Robertson smirks as he reaches up about to spin it but is stopped by Georgie who grabs his arm.

William Robertson:   What are you doing Georgie?  I just want to give it a spin

Looking up at the wheel, Georgie shakes her head at her brother.

Georgie Robertson:   I don’t want you to jinx it bruv.  I just want to look at it right now.

William looks at his sister then back at the wheel.  He is about to reach up again when his hand is once more smacked by Georgie.  Bringing his hand to his chest, he glares at Georgie who moves in front of the wheel and motions him to back away.

William Robertson:  That ain’t cricket Georgie girl.

Georgie Robertson:    I said that I didn’t want you to spin it Billy Blue eyes.  Besides, I heard that the wheel is guarded and that only people who work for SCW can spin the wheel.

William Robertson:   I don’t see anyone around Georgie.  What’s to stop me.

Before Georgie can stop him, William reaches up and gives the wheel a spin which brings a gasp from Georgie and a chuckle of contempt from William

Georgie Robertson:   Now you are in for it Billy.  You ought not have done that.

William Robertson:   Like I am worried.

He moves off not seeing a small body moving in the shadows.  William moves to sit near by as Georgie moves to the wheel watching it spin until it slows.  She turns back to Billy as she sees it land on pillow fight.  William laughs loudly as he leans back in the chair.

Georgie Robertson:  Thank god you aren’t going to be spinning it for my match ya plonker.

William Robertson:  You know, might not be a bad thing Georgie.  Seeing you birds havin’ to strip might make this geezer want to watch more wrestling.

William is about to get up when he is pulled back to sit down on the chair.  Looking down at his wrist, he spies a pair of handcuffs locking him with the chair.  Georgie looks around in surprise as William starts to curse as he shakes his wrist.

Georgie Robertson:   I told ya not to spin the wheel.  Now look what happened.  This isn’t about spinning it for me, it is about looking at the wheel and making my peace with the options.  Now you got your arm in some steel bracelet and I don’t know how we are going to get you out of it.

William looks around himself trying to find something to help him escape the cuffs.  Turning further, he spies a small bear that seems to be holding a key.  William fights his way over to the bear as he reaches for the key but is caught up short.

William Robertson:  Bloody hell!  Gimme that key ya mug!

The bear seems to be taunting Billy who growls as he realizes that his chair is also handcuffed to where it was set so it keeps William just out of reach of the key.  He flops onto the chair angrily as Georgie can’t help but laugh at him.

Georgie Robertson:   I told  you not to jinx it.

Lalita walks in and pulls up short as she sees Georgie double over in laughter and William glare at a bear that is sitting nearby.  She moves towards the pair, reaching up to pull a hairpin out of her hair, and then begins picking the handcuff lock.

Lalita:   You are a bloody wanker you know that Billy.  You are lucky that I know a few tricks.

She frees Billy who rubs his wrist and walks out of the room angrily.  Lalita looks at Georgie who shrugs and points at the bear before she moves towards the door.

Georgie Robertson:   It’s like the guardian of the wheel or something.  William spun the wheel and his luck ran out.  But I ain’t staying here to have something like that happen to me.  Let’s go Lal…we have something that we need to do.

The pair of women walk out of the room, reaching for the light switch to send the room to black.  Just before darkness once more covers the room, a glint from the eyes of the bear is seen.

Theme of the promo…Badder by Emlyn
Watch video here
: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIKwIUaJ000&list=FLOpZZF8QjrBi29JkmxinnsQ&index=8

Music fills the void of the room…Emlyn’s Badder plays as a woman walks into the frame, her body covered in black leather that molds to her curves like a second skin.  At her throat, the leather parts to reveal a gold pendant that hangs alluringly accentuating her cleavage.  Georgie’s hair is slicked back, a soft pompadour curl rising over her forehead which gives her an almost feral attitude.

She continues to stalk towards the camera that is filming her.  Once she gets closer, a roulette wheel is seen coming into view.  Getting closer still, she reaches out to set the wheel spinning.

 Georgie Robertson:  Place your bets…

Smiling, Georgie picks up a small white ball and launches it into the spinning wheel and watches as it bounces and hops from number to number.  As it spins, Georgie looks up at the camera and begins to speak.

Georgie Robertson:   Funny how roulette seems to be so random at times and at other times, so predictable.  I am sure you are thinking that I might be a little tetched in the brainbox for talking like that but let me discuss this more..  I promise, I will make you understand it.

Georgie Robertson:   Now when I say that it is random, I mean that it is so unpredictable.  One never can tell just where it might land or what number might come up.  And that it true for most things roulette.  Black…red…over…under…there is no logic nor is there no way to understand just where it will land one.

Georgie Robertson:  Take for instance the roulette titles in Sin City Wrestling.  Before the match, someone will spin that rather large wheel and when they do, it spins and spins…chance deciding the type of match that the competitors will fight for the title.  And lord help you if you aren’t ready for that match.  And if I am honest, how can one really prepare for a match that they don’t know they will be participating in?

The wheel slows even more as the white ball finally comes to rest in a number.  Before the camera is able to see what it is, Georgie’s hand shoots out and grabs the ball before she sets the wheel to spinning once more before launching the ball again.

Georgie Robertson:   I did say it was also predictable too.  But that predictable is not what you think either.  The predictability is in the fact that you keep talking about how you know how to handle what could be decided by the spins.  Take for instance, the champion would be able to predict what will happen because when they participate in a roulette title match, they know that they need to be prepared for anything.

Georgie Robertson:  It is like how you shouldn’t bet against the house because the odds are in their favour.  I get it I really do.  But I still love the thrill of what could happen when you share that mentality.

Georgie looks up once more into the camera, an intense look on her face as she lets the wheel spin under her finger which slows it down.  The white ball bounces and then is picked up mid bounce by Georgie who closes her fist over it.

Georgie Robertson:  Speaking of mentally preparing for the unknown…that is something I have lived my life doing.  And the thrill I get from it just makes me more dangerous.  Could you believe it has a taste that makes me crave it more?  Can you say that you want it as much as me?  Nah, you can’t.

Georgie tosses the ball into the air and catches it.

Georgie Robertson:   This Sunday I have the opportunity to challenge for the Bombshell Roulette title in a triple threat match that will see me facing Bea Barnhart and Alexandra Calaway.  I have been a bit busy listening to them rabbit on about how they are going to retain the title or they will be the champion after this match.  Once again, I remind you that a roulette match is a game of chance.

Georgie Robertson:  There is a chance that Bea Barnhart will be able to get the chance to put me into a hold that could bring her closer to the title however I would like to tell her that when it comes to this match, she has to be able to watch her back because it isn’t just a one on one.  So you are going to have to finish one before you try to beat the other.  And if you are able to take out Alexandra, that means you will not be ready for me to take advantage of that to take you out.

Georgie smiles as she sets the wheel spinning before launching the ball.

Georgie Robertson:  Bea I will give you the credit you deserve.  You seem very confident but one has to wonder just how smart you think you are.  I want to address something.  My friend Lalita showed me your little IQ taunt and I didn’t realize you are old enough to be going through your second childhood.  I mean really, those little code games are so Year four of primary school.  If that is the level of your IQ, you will pose no threat in this match for me.  When you are using a simple alphabet cypher to taunt your opponent…just prove you aren’t too bright and therefore are no real challenge.

Georgie Robertson:  Then of course we have the champion herself.  Alexandra Calaway who has the house advantage so to speak considering that she is the champion.  And I have seen her battle for the title and I have seen her win match after match.  She does also have the champions’ advantage that she has fought in matches like this.  But that advantage will be cancelled by the fact that it isn’t a one on one match because she doesn’t have to be pinned to lose her title.

Georgie smirks as she crosses her arms over her chest and raises a finger to lay it against her cheek.

Georgie Robertson:    Oh Alex…can I call you that?  I mean that the two of us in this match are probably going to be the ones that will be deciding on just who it will be that walks out of the ring with the title and the one that remains just another victim.  I seriously believe that it will be me walking out of the ring with the title.  You were right when you said that I craved winning the title.  I am preparing for anything happening in the match and I am also ready to do what it takes to take that belt.

Georgie Robertson:  You see, there is something that I want to let both of you know.  I have never really cared what happened in the ring.  Win or lose I was just calling it in because it wasn’t something that I was really focused on.  I couldn’t have given two thoughts of wanting to wear a title when I first started in this company.  But then I get a title shot and realized that the thrill of challenging for a title was a little like a drug.  The first taste of possible gold had me hooked and now here I am in another title match and I am ready to take the mick out of you and take your belt Alex.

Georgie’s smirk changes into a sneer as she leans forward to place her hands on the roulette table as she listens for a moment to the song that is playing.  She

Georgie Robertson:  Do you hear that Alex and Bea…the song that is playing talking about how this match will probably be happening.

Georgie Robertson:  If I am honest, the only thing that is going to matter for you birds is me not leaving you in a pool of your own blood as I walk out of the ring with the win and more importantly, the title.  I am not going to promise anything other than the fact that neither of you will be champion after Sunday.

Georgie backs away from the roulette table and looks directly into the camera.

Georgie Robertson:  Let me leave you with a song that I am setting as my theme for this match.  I want you to listen to it and I want you to realize that this perfectly describes just what is going to happen in this match.  Like the chorus says…

Georgie smiles as she begins to sing along with the song that is playing in the background on a loop.

Georgie Robertson:  Anything you can do, I can do badder.  Baby, don't act so surprised.  Build up your ego, and watch it just shatter.  Everything that you do, don't matter…

Once she sings that lyric, she smirks and then with a wink, she turns and walks out of the frame as the music continues to play.

The sounds of a casino can be heard as Lalita and Georgie Robertson can be seen sitting in one of the banquettes.  Dressed in a silver dress and matching shoes, Lalita looks relaxed, her light brown skin glowing under the bright rainbow of lights from the slot machines.  Opposite her, Georgie is wearing a man’s button down shirt that is white against her dark leather bolero jacket  Black silky trousers complete the look of informal formal wear which is broken by the addition of red converse shoes.

Reaching out to a crystal glass that is sitting on the table between them, Georgie picks it up to bring to her lips.  Lalita leans an elbow on the table and sets her chin onto her open palm.  She watches as Georgie’s eyes close as the burn of the liquor brings a smile to her lips.  Lalita looks like she is wanting to say something as Georgie gives her a look.

Georgie Robertson:   Crack on Lalita.  Looks like you want to say something.

Lalita:   What are we doing here again when you have a match to get ready for.  I mean I get it Georgie but sitting here like a mug ain’t going to win that match you got.

Georgie seems to ignore her as she watches the rainbow lights affecting the liquid in the glass.  Lalita huffs slightly and is about to say something else but Georgie beats her to it.

Georgie Robertson:   Listen Lalita.  I get that I am in a match at High Stakes but I was also sent here to Vegas for a job for Granddad.  I have been slacking at the wrestling but even worse, been completely off the job that Granddad wants me to do.  So here we are, giving the casino a butcher’s so I can give my Granddad a report so he won’t think that I haven’t forgotten the reasons I have been here for.

Lalita:  I get that Georgie but just what is the job you have to do?

Georgie waggles a finger at Lalita with a smirk.  Leaning back, she once more sips at the liquor then sets the glass down on the table.  From across the casino, Georgie can sense that she is being observed.  Looking around, she can see no one but she shivers slightly still feeling eyes on her.

Georgie Robertson:   Right now Lal, it is just to keep me minces on this casino and the owner.  Granddad seems to think that they are doing something that we should be stopping.  It’s a family thing.

Lalita:  I see.  But girl, you do have to realize that you did sign a contract in SCW and now they are giving you the chance to do something on the right side of the law you know.  You’re not your granddad’s employee, you are family and he would want you to get that title you are facing Alexandra Calaway and Bea Barnhart for.  Besides, this is starting to feel like it is our local.

Georgie laughs as she shakes her head.  Her eyes meet with the person that she instinctively realizes that have been watching her.  Saying nothing for a moment, she raises the glass in almost a smirking salute.  Lalita looks between the man who has raised his glass at the pair of them with a pair of scornful women behind him.  Lalita then turns to Georgie with a look of surprise.

Lalita:  Is that who I think it is?

 Georgie Robertson:   Maybe, why?

Lalita:  Because that geezer’s not good news.  Besides Georgie, you don’t have time to be playing unless…Bloody hell…HE’S the job isn’t it?

Georgie Robertson:   Don’t be daft Lal…like you said, this ain’t a job.

Lalita:  We need to get out of here NOW!  If he’s noticed, it isn’t going to be good for you.

Georgie Robertson:   What’s wrong…ain’t this the local for all the superstars and bombshells of SCW.  It ain’t like we haven’t been here before.

Lalita:  Yeah but we weren’t casin’ the place.

Georgie Robertson:   Maybe I llike the atmosphere here Lal.  Bit of a sticky wicket might just be what I need tonight.

Lalita slides from the banquette and then tugs at the arm of Georgie who has set her glass on the table.

Georgie Robertson:   Bloody hell Lal

Lalita:  Let’s go Georgie.  You got a match and some training and I just got a text from your brother that you need to get back to the flat.

Georgie gives Lalita a glare but slowly slides out of the seat and brushes down her clothes.

Georgie Robertson:   Fine…but next time Lal, I am not bloody bringing you.  You are a spoilsport taking away all my fun.

Lalita:  Next time Georgie, I will join you in the fun but right now there is someone at the flat that wants to talk to you.  And if we don’t worry, they will do more than talk.  And before you ask, I can’t say who it is.

Georgie now looks intrigued as she reaches over and finishes off the drink and sets the empty glass on the table before she motions for Lalita to lead the way out of the casino.  The pair exit into the night and disappear as the doors slide shut.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Inside of Georgie’s rooftop apartment, William Robertson can be seen relaxing on the couch where he is holding a phone and can be seen texting something to someone and speaking out loud as he types.

William Robertson:   Lalita, you better get Georgie back here now.  Don’t tell her why but she needs to be here soon.

Leaning back, William relaxes as he waits for the pair of girls to return while reading an article online.  Suddenly from the door, the sound of the key turning can be heard before Georgie and Lalita walk into the room.

Georgie Robertson:   Honey, I’m home

William turns to look at the pair and then smirks at Georgie.

William Robertson:  Lookit you girl.  Trained by Bill Barnhart yeah?

Georgie Robertson:    What in the bloody hell are you on about Billy?

William Robertson:   Was just givin’ this article about your match a butchers and I can’t believe what I am reading.  Says here that you were trained by Bill Barnhart and says that you won a tag team thing.

William waves his phone at Georgie who snatches it away from him.

 Georgie Robertson:   Give me that…

William Robertson:   Bloody hell grabby hands.

Georgie flops onto the couch where she begins to read the article.  Looking up at her brother and best friend, she shakes her head.

Georgie Robertson:  I don’t know who wrote this but they were a bit touched by an idiot.  None of this shite that is written about me is right except for the entrance song.  Tell me that this is not anything that people will be reading?

William Robertson:  Wish I could Georgie but from the count on the page, a lot of people have seen it.  Guess you will have to deal with your infamy yeah?

Rolling her eyes, Georgie tosses the phone back to her brother who bobbles it as he tries to catch it.  Laying her head back against the cushions of the couch, Georgie closes her eyes with a groan of disgust as she brings a hand up to her forehead.  Lalita gasps as an older man walks out of the other room and stops at the doorway with a smile and lays a finger against his lips.  Lalita nods as she moves away from the couch and sits on a chair nearby.

Georgie Robertson:   This is bloody insane Lalita.  What the hell am I going to do yeah?  This article makes me out to be a plonker…

Granddad Robertson:  And that means that you are going to have to fight harder to change their minds Georgie girl.

 Georgie Robertson:  GRANDDAD!?!

Georgie’s eyes open as she turns to where the voice had come from.  She smiles as she rushes towards the older man and envelopes him in a hug with an exclamation of surprise and happiness.  She turns and shoots William a glare as if to say ‘why didn’t you tell me’.  Her brother shrugs in innocence.

William Robertson:  The old man said I couldn’t tell you he was here.

Georgie’s grandfather grumbles at that comment from William and points to the other room which has William nodding and then reaching for Lalita’s arm to pull her with him into the other room with a mumbled comment about their grandfather wanting to talk to Georgie.

Once they left the room, Georgie guides her grandfather to the couch and the two sit.

Georgie Robertson:   What are you doing here Granddad.

Granddad Robertson:  Can’t I come and visit my favourite granddaughter?

Georgie Robertson:  I am your only granddaughter.  Wait, are you here because of the job you gave me?  I am workin’ on it Granddad I swear.  But this wrestling thing is also happening and well…I think I am learning to like it.

 Granddad Robertson nods his head.

Granddad Robertson:    I have seen that Georgie girl and trust me I know that what I sent you over the pond to do was not going to be a priority since I have been watching you.  Have to say that I think you are a fighter just like me.  But you seem distracted and I realized that maybe the job was interfering in that.  So I came to tell you to focus on your wrestling and we can let Billy Blue eyes to take care of that part of the deal.  But you have to watch him for me because he just might be a tad hot headed when it comes to this job.

Georgie Robertson:  Are you sure Granddad?  I could do both…

Granddad holds up his hand and shakes his head.

Granddad Robertson:  I know you can yeah.  But Billy said that you were good.  So be good.  I give you permission to be the best bombshell in this company.

Just as Georgie’s granddad said that, Georgie lunges towards him to give him another hug as a commotion is heard from the other room where Lalita had gone.  She comes through the doorway.

Lalita:   Georgie, I know you just got here and Mr. Robertson, I know you are newly here but I must take your granddaughter to film a promotional speech for her match this supercard.

Georgie looks at her grandfather apologetically.

Georgie Robertson:   You will stay here with me in Vegas until the supercard Granddad?

Her grandfather nods in agreement as Lalita pulls Georgie along the hallway towards her office room where they are going to make the recording.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Georgie stands and leans on the edge of her desk in the office of her own home where she faces Lalita who holds the camcorder and focuses it on the face of Georgie.  The young brit runs her hands along the slicked-back hair with only a curl flopping over her left eye.  The video shows the word recording in the corner.

Georgie Robertson:  Well well well…isn’t it interesting that I have a match at High Stakes and it is for a title that I recently fought in a match which gave me this opportunity.  Imagine that most people are going to be calling me the longshot.  I would probably do the same if I am honest.  I mean I haven’t beaten many people in my short time here in SCW yeah?  I bet you are wondering just who I may have seduced to get this shot.

Georgie smirks as she thinks about that comment then laughs slowly.

Georgie Robertson:   I don’t have to seduce anyone to get what I want when I want it.  I just make sure that when it comes to being in the right place at the right time with the right win, I take my advantage all the way to a title match.  And what might you ask got me this match hmmm??

Georgie Robertson:   Let me tell you exactly why I got this shot…I beat a former World Bombshell champion in a roulette rules match to earn my spot in this match against Alexandra Calaway for the Bombshell Roulette title.  But I am sure that it was a fluke huh?  Isn’t that what most people say?  After all I couldn’t beat Jessie Salco and the person wearing the title beat Jessie to take it.  But I have done things that Jessie couldn’t do like beat Roxi Johnson.  I beat Seleana Zdunich who was also a former champion..

Georgie Robertson:  But that was in the past now wasn’t it?  I suppose I could rest on my laurels but whoever said that Laurel was a good place to rest never knew what going beyond expectations could do to a girl.

Georgie smoulders at the camera and winks before continuing.

Georgie Robertson:  I think that I really need to talk about what is going to be happening in this match and talk about my opponents.  I am sure they have talked about me but do I care…not really.

Georgie Robertson:  Let’s have a bit of a rabbit about Bea Barnhart shall we?  Quite the average wrestler that talks a big game but when it comes to wrestling and winning, she just doesn’t get it done when she really should.  I mean the woman has a really bad record…wait a minute…she and I have the same record…and after this match, it isn’t going to be the same anymore because she will have another loss and I will be taking the win.

A snort can be heard from behind the camera which only has Georgie glaring at the camera.

Georgie Robertson:  And I suppose that snort was from the fact that I am saying that I am going to be winning the match when we both know that I don’t have to just beat Bea yeah?  I realize that there is the champion in the match too and she is riding some kind of high.

Georgie waves at the camera as she continues.

Georgie Robertson:  That’s right, I am talking about the champion Alexandra Calaway who holds the title.  I seem to have heard a couple of comments that were forwarded to me by a friend…

Georgie winks at the camera which gets a laugh from Lalita.

Georgie Robertson:  IU will give credit where credit is due and that is kudos Alexandra…you are the champion…for now.  I mean you beat Jessie Salco for the title and talk a big game about it.  So you beat Jessie Salco…did you want a medal or a chest to pin it on hmmm?

Georgie’s eyes narrow before they widen into an innocent look.

Georgie Robertson:  Forgive me Alexandra…talking about your chest like I am trying to seduce you maybe?  Please, you are not my type.  This is something that most people can’t understand about me.  I am very conscious of my body…I have the ability to flirt with others but that doesn’t mean that I lose sight of what I need to focus on.  And at High Stakes, the focus is going to be on beating you in the middle of the ring when I want nothing more than to pin your shoulders to the mat to shut you up.

Georgie Robertson:  This match is the start of me really wanting to take things to the next level and it begins at the biggest show of the year for SCW and that is High Stakes right here in Vegas.  Did you know that I can’t wait to step into the ring with a new attitude and new desire to really excel.  And to do that I need to start somewhere and where better than in a Bombshell Roulette title match.

Licking her lips, Georgie sighs and leans back on her hands.

Georgie Robertson:  Like my theme song says, I am going to be in that right for your entertainment.  To quote the lyrics…Do you know what you got into?  Can you handle what I’m ‘bout to do?  Cause it’s about to get rough for you!  Both of you Alexandra and Bea.

Georgie Robertson:  It’s not going to be a fair fight at all is it?  But that is okay…I am about to turn up the heat and when I do…I will burn both of you down and then I will stand tall as the NEW Bombshell Roulette champion.

Georgie brings her hands together to rub them slowly in pleasure of contemplating what will be happening at the supercard.

Georgie Robertson:  I just can’t wait to be in the ring with the pair of you and beat you birds until you realize that I am more than you can handle and you will have no choice but to submit to me. I promise you will have no other choice.

With that, Lalita presses stop on the camcorder which sends the image to black.

A dark skinned woman sets up an iPad on a table before pulling over the chair and sits down.  Behind the bar in the living room of a familiar apartment, William Robertson, Billy Blue Eyes smirks as he mixes an old fashioned and then moves to sit beside Lalita who only spares him the barest of glances as she types on the keyboard in front of the iPad.

Lalita:   What do you think you are doing Billy?  Don’t you have a bird waiting for ya??

William Robertson:  I think that I am going to be sitting here, having a rabbit with my favourite sister and drinkin’ this.

He holds up the drink in a cheers like move before bringing the crystal glass to his lips to sip at the cherry red and gold drink.   As he does, the call that Lalita started is picked up by Georgie Robertson who is dressed in a pair of black denim overall shorts over a white midriff blouse and a rather large sunhat that rests on the back of her head showing off a curl over her left eye.

Georgie Robertson:   Hullo Lal, how’s you?

Billy looks offended as his sister seems to ignore him.  Lalita laughs behind her hand as Georgie rolls her eyes and addresses her brother.

Georgie Robertson:  And you Billy, how’s you?

Billy seems to debate ignoring Georgie but then a grin breaks across his face.

William Robertson:  Right as rain Georgie Girl.  How’s the Napa?

Lalita:  Before you answer that Georgie, I have to tell you that you need to be in San Franscisco for Sunday.

Georgie Robertson:    Why Lal?  Aint like they have me facing anybody after my loss to Krystal.

William Robertson:  Don’t be so sure girl.

Billy takes another sip of the drink in his hand as Georgie gets a confused look on her face.

Georgie Robertson:  What are you on about?

William Robertson:  I know something you don’t know Georgie.

Georgie Robertson:   Quit being a wanker bruv.

Georgie leans towards the lens which makes her appear to be larger.

Lalita:   You got a match on Sunday Georgie.  They booked you against this Seleana bird.

Georgie Robertson:  Seleana?  Remind me who she is?

Both Lalita and Billy are about to speak when Georgie holds up her hand and stops them.

Georgie Robertson:  Hang on a tick…ain’t she that bird what has that three way marriage with them other two birds?

 Lalita:  Yeah, that is her.

Georgie Robertson:   And she is the one that I am getting in the ring with?

Lalita:  Right again.  And it is in only a couple of days.  Did you want me to make arrangements for you to fly up there?

Georgie seems to be thinking about the match and seemingly misses what Lalita asked but distractedly answers.

Georgie Robertson:  Nah, I am not that far.  I’ll rent a car and drive myself to the show.  Are you coming into San Franscisco for the show?

Lalita:  No, I will need to stay back here in Vegas.  Have some work to do for your granddad.   Did ya want me to send Billy in my stead?

A look of horror crosses Georgie’s face as she turns to look into the camera.

 Georgie Robertson:   God no!

William Robertson:  Love ya too.

Billy gives Georgie a sneer and stands to walk away.  Lalita says nothing as Georgie waves mockingly at the back of Billy as he walks away.  Lalita watches then turns to Georgie who speaks up.

Georgie Robertson:   So now that Billy is gone, tell me the truth, do I really have a match or were you just telling me that with my brother there?

Lalita nods her head with a smile.

Lalita:  Yes you have a match.  And given that, you need to be at Climax Control on Sunday in San Franscisco.

Georgie Robertson:   Interesting.  Well then, I am going to have to crack on and prepare to travel to the show.  I’ll talk to you later.

Georgie cuts the call off and the screen goes black leaving Lalita perplexed.

Lalita:  I guess we are done here?

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The scene opens on the face of Georgie Robertson who is behind the wheel of a convertible.  Soft music is heard as Georgie begins to speak.

Georgie Robertson:  Well well well, SCW has decided that they want to wrestle against Seleana Zdunich because they needed to have me back in the ring.  Now I know that I have a rather bloody bad record but if I am honest, I don’t care what my record is.  If you ask me, I am still learning.  And that is fine but now I really think that I am getting the hang of it.

 Georgie laughs at that comment.

Georgie Robertson:  So now that I have given it the time in the ring, I am going to be getting better at what I am looking at.  What I am looking at on Sunday is a chance to step in the ring with another former champion and do something unexpected by most of the rest of the bombshell  birds and that is win.

Georgie Robertson:   I am sure you would be talking of the fact that I have a bad record and that I am nothing against you.  Seleana, I have heard that over and over again and trust me, it has just become white noise.  This week in the ring though…this is going to be different because this little match that was scheduled is interrupting my vacation and for that, I am going to have to punish you for it.

With that, the line of cars begins to cross the Golden Gate Bridge and makes Georgie have to focus on the drive.

Georgie Robertson:  I will see you on Sunday Seleana.  Hope you will be ready to suffer a loss.

With those words, Georgie reaches towards the camera that is sitting on the dash and presses stop on the recording as the car moves along the bridge.

Climax Control Archives / The Girl from Ipanema...
« on: August 11, 2023, 11:28:27 PM »
A stretch of white sand spreads out in front of a pair of women who are making their way across the busy Brazilian street towards the world-famous Ipanema beach.  Lalita looks relaxed in a white bikini that is covered by a silky sarong skirt that hides her wedged sandals.  Beside her, Georgie Robertson is dressed in a blue and gold bikini with a macrame beach wrap that hides nothing gold sunglasses with blue lenses and gladiator sandals.  With her tanned and tattooed body visible, she is attracting glances and open staring from the groups of people on the beach.  Behind her, William Robertson is weighed down with bags and an umbrella that is falling off his shoulder.

Lalita:   Come along Billy Blue eyes…we don’t want to be in the sun too long.

William Robertson:  Oy, Lal.  I said I was sorry about Destiny.  She meant nothing really.

Georgie scoffs as she begins to walk on the beach looking for an area that offers some privacy.  Lalita follows behind her as does William who is still complaining and apologizing.  Stopping, she turns and lowers her sunglasses with a smile.

Georgie Robertson:   Right, looks perfect right here.  Now why don’t you be a good 'un and set up while Lalita and I relax?  We’ll take the beach blanket and help yeah?

Complaining, William drops the pile of equipment on the beach that kicks up some sand. Lalita complains as she leans down to reach into the large bag and pull out a blanket that she spreads out with a flick of her wrists.  Billy opens the umbrella and stabs it into the sand before twisting it deeper.  Georgie ignores the pair as she looks over the beach to see what kind of attention she is getting. Lalita gives her a soft whistle and motions to the blanket that now has been set up.  Georgie kneels onto the blanket then leans on one elbow to smirk at her brother.

Georgie Robertson:  Maybe you are good for something here Billy.  You never told me why you wanted to come to Brazil with Lalita and me.  Ain’t like you like the beach.

William joins the pair on the blanket, his eyes taking in the sea of beautiful women on the beach in very revealing outfits.  Georgie and Lalita share a glance at him before Lalita coughs and gets his attention.

William Robertson:  Wot, I like the beach.  The water, the waves…the loverlies in their itsy bitsy bits yeah?

Lalita:  And there he is…

Georgie Robertson:    Listen you.  We are in Rio for Climax Control, not to cause an international incident yeah?  You bloody well better keep it in your head that you are just a tourist and ain’t someone that can use their name to get what they want.  This isn’t south London ya know.

William Robertson:  Don’t you think I know that Georgie girl?  Besides, I don’t speak Spanish  Luckily I got me this English to Spanish book.

He waves a small book at the two as both Georgie and Lalita say Portuguese at the same time which only has William looking at them confused.  Lalita rolls her eyes before closing them and breathing deeply as Georgie pulls her sunglasses downwards and glares over the lenses.

Georgie Robertson:  They speak Portuguese in Brazil ya plonker.

William Robertson:  Bloody hell!  Oh well…I ain’t bovvered…I’m so hench ain’t gonna need to rabbit with the birds.  Speaking of…I’m off to do some chirpsing.

With that, William gets to his feet and heads down the beach leaving Georgie to watch him go.

Georgie Robertson:   Crack on Billy blue eyes.  Crack on.

Georgie leans back on her elbows as she looks out over the surf.  Beside her, Lalita opens her eyes and turns her head to take in her friend.  Noticing the look on her face, Lalita sits up and brushes her hands together to dust them off before she tilts her head and gives Georgie a look.

Lalita:   Okay Georgie, spill it.  You ain’t got me fooled.  You thinking about something ain’t ya?

Georgie Robertson:  No shit Sherlock.  I’m thinking about the last time we was on Climax Control.  The queen for the day match that Zoey beat me.  It should’ve been me in that match at the supercard.  And I lost.  I am sure that most everyone is counting me out but then…

A slow malicious smile begins to cross her face as Georgie sits up and drags the macrame beach cover over her head as the sun is angled to shine onto her body.

Georgie Robertson:  Then came that little open challenge of Jessie Salco.  And I thought to meself, Georgie, you need to take that shot.  After all, Jessie won’t see ya comin’ considering that she beat you before.

Lalita:  Yeah she did.  So what did you expect her to do?

Georgie Robertson:   I expect her to believe her hype.  She will be so full of herself that she won’t even consider me a challenge.  And as you bloody well know, she’s a bird that can be rather full of herself.

Lalita:  You must be having a laugh mate.

Georgie gives Lalita a look while Lalita fights to keep a straight face but ends up losing the battle as a grin spreads across her lips.

Georgie Robertson:  Well I know that come Climax Control I will not be taking the piss out of Jessie.  I will be beating her with all that I have.  Because we both know that any emotion that fuels me more is spite and that means that it is spite that is pushing me to challenge the bird.  But that is for later in the week innit.  Right now, time to enjoy the day and Ipanema.

Georgie smiles at Lalita before pushing herself to her hands and knees then to her feet.  She winks at her friend before kicking off her sandals and heading towards the blue waters where strong waves can be seen rolling in.  Georgie slowly makes her way into the surf where she is joined by a young man in a speedo with a large gold chain tangled in dark chest hair.

Young Brazilian Man:   Hello beautiful lady bem vindo a ipanema

Georgie Robertson:   Thanks.  Now go away.

Georgie motions for him to leave her alone but he doesn’t take the hint and moves closer.

Young Brazilian Man:   You here to live Brazil?  I show you a good time you know.  My name is Raphael and you are?

 Georgie Robertson:   Not interested.

Georgie tries to move away from the young man but he follows her through the surf.  Georgie stops and turns on him quickly that has him falling backwards into the water and splashing those close by.

Young Brazilian Man:   Why you do that beautiful la…

Georgie Robertson:   I ain’t interested in giving you me name or time.  All this machismo bollocks is ‘nuff.  Quit tryin’ chirpsing me, I ain’t interested in ya at all.

Georgie leans towards him which he has to back away to get to his feet in the water.  Georgie watches him brush the water from his body before he glares at the woman who has now crossed her arms over her chest and tilted her head to return the glare.  He begins walking away but still speaking to Georgie.

Young Brazilian Man:   Você é uma vadia! (You are a bitch!)

Georgie Robertson:   You know it bruv!

Georgie turns away to ignore him as he motions back at the woman with a string of curses(?) in Portuguese.  Walking back up the beach, she then flops down on the blanket angrily as the scene fades out.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The orange sunset gilds the sand on the beach of Ipanema as a person can be seen walking along the shore.  A white linen halter dress flows in the soft breeze off the ocean as Georgie walks along the surf, her shoes in one hand and her cell phone on a selfie stick in the other.  She stops and angles the camera to take her in framed with the sunset.

Georgie Robertson:  Beautiful innit?  They say that this beach is the best place to take in the sunset here in Rio.  I would have to agree with this when it comes to this sunset tonight.  But I definitely think there might be a better place to see a slightly different sunset yeah?

 Georgie grins as she sighs.

Georgie Robertson:  See, Sunday night is the sunset of another kind and that will be the place that is the best to watch it.  Because Sunday night is the start of the sunset of the career of one Jessie Salco.  Only that sunset won’t be beautiful will it Jessie, no it will be a painful last few moments of a career that in reality was more of a flash in the pan than anything.  Yeah you may be the Bombshell Roulette champion but I have to admit that it is only for a few more days.

Georgie Robertson:   I bet you weren’t thinking that I would be the one to step up and take that open challenge and you were probably getting ready to extend that retirement tour into Violent Conduct.  After all, it was Mercedes that you thought would be the one you would be facing.  And yeah, she managed to step out on the stage but before she could open her gob, I shut it for her.  And to see you in the ring angry that it was me that did it…that was just an added bonus.

Georgie Robertson:  I know that we have been in matches before and you beat me twice.  Brav-fuckin-oh Jess, but the third time’s the charm innit?  I know you are on about how you have beaten some strong competitors and that you have decided that you are some kind of wunderkind when it comes to the roulette title, yeah?  I will admit that yeah you have beaten some stiff competition and are probably going to be ready to face me and give me a run for my money because I am a rookie who hasn’t been that strong in the ring.

Georgie looks downwards for a moment then out into the surf.  She turns back and smiles at the camera.

Georgie Robertson:  I will say Jessie that you are right, I am a rookie who has only been wrestling for a year where you have been wrestling for what…fifteen years?  That means that you started wrestling when I was nine years old.  Here I am at twenty-four challenging you for that title and you still are going to doubt me.  Go ahead and doubt me, Jessie.  We both know that is what you tend to do when you don’t respect your opponents.  And we both know that you don’t respect me at all do you?  And that is fine by me.  You keep talking bollocks ya git.  All that rabbitin’ is just going to motivate me that much more with spite for wanting to take the mick out of you in the ring.

The sun is setting more, the sky fading as Georgie looks back to sun then towards the camera.

Georgie Robertson:  It is getting darker as it gets closer to the end of the day.  I wonder if you see the darkness starting to close in on you as your career is getting closer and closer to ending for you.   Can you see the end coming closer and closer as Climax Control approaches?

Georgie looks thoughtful as she walks towards the sidewalk, her steps through the sand slow and steady until she reaches the street where lights shine along it.  She stops in the glow of one streetlight where a bench is.  Sitting down on it, she crosses one leg over the other to address the camera again.

Georgie Robertson:  I have been watching your little promos on Climax Control and SCW’s website and I have to tell you that I realized from everything you have been saying is you are trying to make yourself into some kind of legend.  You are living on the laurels of the past and are looking to cement your legacy.  Sadly though your legacy is something that I have to respect even though the majority of it has been through whining and wingeing about not being given title shots or that you had been given them but you couldn’t get it done and it wasn’t your fault.

Georgie Robertson:  And that is the difference between you and me Jessie.  You beg for title shot after title shot.  Finally, win a title and except for the last few defenses, you would lose on your first defense.  I can admit that I have lost matches but do I whine about it?  Do I beg about getting another shot at the title?  No, I take it.  Just like I am taking the title shot this week in Rio.

Anger begins to cross over the face of Georgie as she warms to the thought of that.

Georgie Robertson:  You Jessie have no real respect for me do you.  How do I know that huh?  It is because you cut a promo about me last Monday morning.  You tore me down well and good didn’t you?  And as much as it burned a hole in my midsection, as much as it made me want to give up and trust me, there was that one minute that I did think that I should give it up, I choked on my anger until I couldn’t do anything but scream out in frustration and I swore that it wasn’t going to be as easy as you saying it was going to beat me.

Georgie’s hand curls into a fist as she fights to calm down.  A slight vibration of anger causes the camera to shake before Georgie’s eyes close and a slow calming breath escapes the young woman.

Georgie Robertson:  As much as I wanted to lose it and become a victim to my anger or your contempt I know that facing you this third time is something that I need to do for me and that was then I realized the only way to beat you is to make you so confident that you won’t be focused on what I can do because you don’t believe that I am a challenge for the oh so legend in her own mind Jessie Salco.

Georgie Robertson:  Now, I know that you tend not to worry about your opponents as much because you have some much more on your mind like people that aren’t facing you.  Or friends that are dealing with some stupid possessed bird.  Yeah, I really don’t care about that shite if I am honest.  I just have one focus right now and that is you Jessie.  I ain’t looking to the supercard, I ain’t looking to Alexandra Calaway at Violent Conduct because you are the one I have to beat to face her and when I do, it will be because I didn’t look past you.

Georgie smiles as she runs her free hand through her short hair, fluffing it which sends a curl flipping over her left eye.

Georgie Robertson:  I also have to say that Jessie, I heard that you are reminded of yourself when you look at me.  I am sorry but we are nothing alike.  I am someone that likes being underestimated.  Roxi Johnson underestimated me and what did I do?  I beat her.  Ariana Angelos was just the same.  She thought that she had me beat because she is a former champion too and I was just Georgie Robertson, rookie nobody with more losses than wins and what did I do?  I beat her too.  Hmm I wonder…when I faced former champions I beat them.  Granted it wasn’t for titles but still…I did beat them.

Georgie Robertson:  Now I have a chance to win my very first title.  And to do it, I have to beat you.  Sounds daunting yeah?  You are talking like I don’t stand a chance and I get it.  You have won some really interesting matches.  And I will give credit where credit is due.  Now that you are reaching the end of your career, you are finally becoming someone that is competent in the ring and as a champion.  Does it make you feel good to know that it took you fifteen years to actually be considered a legend?  Took you fourteen of them before you were named to the hall of fame.  You won your first title in twenty twelve and lost that title two weeks later.  You won your first Bombshell Roulette title in twenty thirteen and lost it what…three weeks later.  Except for this last run as Bombshell Roulette champion, you haven’t held a title longer than two months.

Georgie Robertson:  It is sheer luck that you have held this title since April.  Maybe the gods decided to gift you a run as champion for just under six months as an early retirement gift.  Regardless, on Sunday I am going to put a stop to the retirement tour of one Jessie Salco.

An evil grin crosses the lips of Georgie as she lowers her head and offers a Kubrik stare to the camera which only makes her look more devious.

Georgie Robertson:  What will you do with yourself Jessie when I send you into retirement?  Will you claim it was a fluke and you don’t need to retire.  Will you go gracefully into that good night and retire never to step into the ring again?  Will you actually be able to give it up?  I suspect not but then again, you will not step away if you know that it means you lost to me now will you?  I put a fiver on it that you can’t let this go and retire.  Well, you are not gong to have a choice are you Jessie?  No choice because I am going to take your title and how do I know that you may ask?

A smirk crosses the face of the young Brit.

Georgie Robertson:  I know that Jessie because what you are looking at is a bloody legend in the making!

Georgie gets to her feet and then moves out of the glow of the streetlight to disappear into the darkness as she crosses the street and disappears into the hostel across from the beach where the sounds of a latin samba beat plays.

Lalita and Georgie exit the elevator each dragging a suitcase behind them as they are talking and laughing over the recent Summer XXXtreme supercard and cruise.  Lalita is dressed casually with her long dark hair pulled up in a high pony and wearing a dark body hugging dress with heels.  Beside her, Georgie looks tomboyish in a pair of trousers with suspenders over a white halter and black converse trainers.  Her hair is curling under a broad brimmed hat that sits at the back of her head.  The friends stop dead in their tracks as they hear a voice call out.

William Robertson:   Georgie, Georgie…Georgie.

Standing outside of her door, Georgie’s brother William looks relaxed in a rather fitted suit and skinny tie.  Beside him is a rather large suitcase which only makes Georgie roll her eyes as Lalita brings a hand up to cover her quirking mouth that is breaking into a smile.

Georgie Robertson:   Oh bloody hell

William moves forward to give Georgie a hug and then turning, he puts an arm over the shoulders of her and Lalita to guide them towards the door.  Georgie holds up a hand that has a key chain hanging from a finger.  She inserts the key and turning it, she pushes the door open.  She doesn’t even wait for her brother as she moves inside and leaving her bag near the door, she heads for the bar.  Looking up, she directs a questioning look at the man who moves to sit on the chair opposite the bar.

Georgie Robertson:   What are you doing here Billy?

William crosses his legs and leans back to rest his arms over the back of the large chair.

William Robertson:  Granddad sent me over to see what the hold up is.  He’s worried you ain’t moving ahead with the plans.

Georgie Robertson:    Granddad sent you huh?  And if I was to give him a bell…

William Robertson:   Right…he sent me but not for that.  Heat was getting a little hot for me in London so he shipped me here.  Said to come see you and help where I could yeah.  So here I am and need a place to crash.

Georgie Robertson:   You are welcome to stay for a bit but I ain’t going to be putting my life on hold to take care of you yeah.  I still have my wrestling career to work on.  I am sure that I am going to have to be getting ready for a match since I did win at the supercard.  And having beat a former champion, might mean the next step.

William Robertson:   Yeah?  Bloody brilliant Georgie girl.  So where will I be layin’ me head?  In your room Lal?

Lalita just shoots a glare at William who grins and winks at the woman.  Georgie walks towards her suitcase and begins to walk towards her room. She turns at the hall and looks back at her brother.

Georgie Robertson:  You can take the guest room Billy and don’t make me regret it yeah?

William Robertson:  No worries Georgie, I’ll be good as gold.

Georgie just shakes her head and disappears down the hall and into the master bedroom.
Days later, Georgie walks out of the bedroom and heads towards her kitchen in a short robe that covers a dark satin teddy.  Rubbing at her sleepy eyes, and then tousling her hand through her messy curls, she stops short as she is greeted by the sight of a young blonde in a West Ham jersey and little else.  The blonde smiles and holds up the coffee carafe and shakes it slightly.

Young Blonde:  Coffee?

Georgie Robertson:  Yeah.  And who are you?

Young Blonde:  Oh I’m Destiny.  Billy and I met last night and well he offered me a place to stay here at his apartment.

Georgie Robertson:  His…apartment?  That is really nice of him to offer innit?

Georgie takes a sip of the coffee that Destiny had poured.  Walking to the table, she sits down as another person is heard entering the kitchen.  Dressed in a pair of cartoon boxers and a tee, William looks sleepy but has a grin on his lips.

William Robertson:  Destiny love, any coffee?

Georgie gets to her feet and walks up behind William and leans towards him with a stiff smile.

Georgie Robertson:   Oh Billy, allow me.

William Robertson:  Geo..gie.  What are you doing at home?  I mean my home.

William’s eyes plead with Georgie not to out him to Destiny.  With a nod, Georgie pours a coffee for her brother and then sets the pot back on the coffee maker.  William moves to offer a kiss to the cheek of Destiny who giggles then whispers something into the ear of William befre heading towards his room.  Once the door shuts, William turns to Georgie.

  William Robertson:   Thanks Georgie.

Georgie Robertson:  Thanks?  Why thank me when I am only a guest in YOUR home.

William has the grace to duck his head as he looks guilty.

William Robertson:  uhhh  ‘Bout that.  Destiny was in a bad way and I figured that you would have said no and she looked so sad.  Was my good deed yeah.  And I am staying here so I brought her home.

Lalita comes into the room dressed in a pair of black pants and a red shirt.  She looks between the siblings who are glaring at each other.

Lalita:   Did I miss something?

Georgie smirks as she points to her brother.

Georgie Robertson:   You missed this twat makin’ a plonker of hisself.

 Lalita:  Doesn’t he always?

Georgie Robertson:   Yeah but this time was the one time too many.  Billy this is my house and Destiny is the third…fourth bird you brought home.  If you want to do that, get yourself a hotel room and don’t be claiming this is your house.  I want you to get your bird out of me house…NOW!

Lalita:  If I was you Billy I wouldn’t wait.  Georgie has a match to get ready for and if you don’t want her to practice by kicking your ‘arris, I would hurry.  And Georgie, I just checked the card that was sent and you have a match at Climax Control against Zoey Lukas…a Queen for a day qualifier…whatever that is.

Williamshakes his head as he grabs a cuppa and heads towards his room while Georgie picks up her cup and raises it towards Lalita.

Georgie Robertson:  Queen for a day yeah?  That is going to be my next goal.  And I am going to win it.

The pair sip their drinks in silence as the scene goes to black with the pair leaning towards each other discussing plans for the show.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Georgie Robertson moves along a hallway.  Around her is the trappings of royalty and in front of her appears a throne and beside it on a velvet pillow is a queen’s crown.  Georgie moves to the throne and turning to face the camera, she sits down to smile regally.

Georgie Robertson:  Climax Control and the start of the next set of qualifiers for an event.  This is the first I have competed in this Queen for a day tournament and one has to wonder just who might be the best person to actually be queen for a day in SCW.  Could it be those that are holding titles?  Or could it be those that are up and comers…the next generation in the bombshell division?

Leaning back, Georgie lets her hands caress the arms of the throne as if getting comfortable in the seat.

Georgie Robertson:  And this week we see that there have been numerous matches made where bombshells will fight each other to qualify for this queen for a day match.  Management in SCW has put me right in the thick of it.  And obvious choice yeah?  I would think so because if you ask me, who better to be queen than me?  I have beaten champions, I have beaten hall of famers and now I am going to be beating my fellow bombshells to advance to the crown.

Georgie turns to the crown and leans towards it.  She reaches out her fingers to touch it but pulls then up short.  She turns to the camera to offer it a smile.

Georgie Robertson:   I found out that I would be facing Zoey Lukas in my match at the show this week and I have to say that I wasn’t surprised to see the challenge they are offering me considering that I am starting to get better in the ring where I have begun to focus my anger on hapless bombshells who think that they know me and that I am not going to be a hard person to beat in the ring.  They are thinking wrong.

Georgie Robertson:  This week it is Zoey Lukas.  A big bad bird that thinks she is the next best thing.  I get that you are the big bad Lukas sister that is the toughest woman in the bombshell division.  You have some big bollocks Zoey if you think that I am going to be scared of you.  You are no better than I am if I am honest.  What can you do that I can’t?  Oh yeah, you are big and you are bad and you are strong.  I will give you that.

Georgie waves her hand in dismissal of the comment she just made.

Georgie Robertson:  Just because you are going to be in the match and that you are oh so confident that you already have me beaten just means that when I put you down and pin those big manly shoulders to the mat, you will realize that you were overconfident when you should have had a healthy dose of common sense to be more concerned about the challenge that I will be giving you in the ring.

Georgie Robertson:  But that is just why you will not be winning the match and will not be advancing to the queen for a day.  You are nothing but common.  If you had a butchers at my record, when it comes to big matches and challengers, I step up and step on them.  I beat Roxi Johnson, the world champion at the time.  I beat former Roulette champion Ariana Angelos at Summer XXXTreme.  And I have a prediction for you Zoey.

Georgie reaches over and picks the crown up from the velvet pillow and holds it in her hands and looks down at it, her tongue slowly outlining her lips before they curl into a smile.

Georgie Robertson:  I predict that on Sunday, in the match of Zoey Lukas and Georgie Robertson, once the battle is won by yours truly, you will be defeated and I will move on one step closer to queen for a day.

Georgie raises the crown and then very slowly, she sets the crown on her slicked back hair.

Georgie Robertson:  Long live the queen.

Georgie starts to laugh softly as she leans back on the throne.  The camera backs away from her as she continues to laugh as she offers a regal wave to the camera that then fades to black.

The decks of the Sun Princess cruise ship were crowded with the people wanting to see and be seen.  Bikini clad women cozying up to older men in socks and sandals while screaming kids run around the pools.  To one side on the highest deck, a woman can be seen laying on a deck chair in a white swimsuit, her dark damp hair glistening in the sun.  Beside her is a table with an umbrella that blocks the sun from the drinks that are set on it.  It also blocks the sun from the body of another woman, her eyes covered in a pair of silvered aviator glasses and dressed in a black and red bikini that leaves very little to the imagination.

Georgie Robertson:   Do you realize Lalita that we are on a cruise ship in the Pacific?  We were here a year ago and it was my debut and I got a win in my debut.  This year I am getting ready to face Ariana Angelos but will I get the win this year?

Lalita raises her head to look at her friend.

Lalita:   What are you on ‘bout Georgie?  You never sound this worried about your matches.

Georgie Robertson:   Give this a butchers Lal…Ariana Angelos is a tough woman to face in the ring and needs to be taken seriously.

Lalita sits up and glares at Georgie who is giving her a deadpan look.

Lalita:  Quit being a plonker Georgie.

The deadpan look changes to one of smirking confidence as Georgie reaches for her glass and then brings the straw sitting in it to her lips.  Lalita rolls over, her hand reaching for her own drink, a look on her face as she fights to decide whether or not to throw it at Georgie.

Georgie Robertson:  You are daft to think that I would be worried about me match Lal.  It is Ariana Angelos that needs to realize that I am starting to feel my desire rise to get into the ring and start to deal out some messages to the birds backstage.  There are titles that I deserve to get a shot at but I am not getting those shots because there are those bombshells that whine and beg for the shots.  I get that I have not been one to say that I deserve my shot and I feel that maybe I just didn’t have the opportunities because I wasn’t as focused on wrestling.

Lalita:   Oh?  And now?

Georgie Robertson:   Now I have decided that I am going to focus on my wrestling and prove that I am someone that will take each title shot seriously.  And to do that I am going to have  to start battering the other bombshells in SCW.

Lalita:   So now you have decided that huh?  What about your granddad’s plans?  Will he understand putting that on the backburner?

A wash of guilt crosses Georgie’s face but she shakes it off.

Georgie Robertson:  I am sure he will.  Granddad has always supported me when I wanted to do something.  And he knows that I will get back to what he wants when the time is right.  And right now the time isn’t.

Lalita:  That is for sure.  But I am surprised that you are going to focus on wrestling.  I would have thought that you would just not worry about it.  I never thought you would take this as serious as you appear to be.  Don’t get me wrong, I am with you on this.  But if I am honest, you need to really focus if you want to win one of these titles.

Georgie offers her friend a mocking toast with her drink.

Georgie Robertson:  Then here’s to focusing on battering the piss out of Ariana to put myself on the road to a title.

Lalita:  And here’s to Ariana’s loss as the first of many wins.

Georgie Robertson:  Cheers!

Both sip from their respective glasses as the two lean back again for relaxing on the deck.  Suddenly, in front of them is a commotion where a man in a ripped shirt, shorts and flip flops rushes by followed by a crowd of calling women.  Georgie turns to Lalita and points.

Georgie Robertson:  Fiver on the one in the blue catching him…

Lalita:  You are on!

The pair laugh as more women appear following the man.  Once their laughter fades, Georgie reaches down and picks up the magazine and begins to flip through it.  Lalita watches her friend through her eyelashes as she closes her eyes slightly.  Without looking at her Georgie speaks up.

Georgie Robertson:   Out with it Lal.

Lalita:  Don’t you think that you should be talking about your match or be training?  I am sure that your opponent is probably talking shit about you somewhere on this boat.  Honestly Georgie, you manage to let every opponent you face get the drop on you and your are always hitting from your back foot.  For once you need to strike first.

Georgie Robertson:   I am sure that Ariana is really not doing that.  Any nicer and I would say that she is is sweet enough to cause cavities.  If I am honest though…for someone that claims to be nice, she is actually not that nice if you ask me.  I get that she can be complimentary but then is so passive-aggressive.

Georgie pauses, rolling her head slightly and closing her eyes as if to erase her thoughts.

Georgie Robertson:  That’s it Lal…she’s passive aggressive.  She gives a complement then tries to beat you down with a fact of how good she is.

Lalita:  And what are you going to do about it?

Georgie drops the magazine on the table then rises to her feet.  She looks down at Lalita with a sneer.

Georgie Robertson:  I am going to go get some training in and maybe just find myself a cameraman to talk to.

Lalita:  You go girl.  I will stay here and charge things to the room since I ain’t payin.

Georgie moves off without even listening to Lalita, an intense look on her face.  Lalita smiles as she motions to the porter to get another drink.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The sound of a heavy bag being beaten on can be heard as a sweaty Georgie Robertson is throwing lefts and rights into it.  Wearing boxing gloves, an offwhite wifebeater over a black sports bra, black boxing shorts and a pair of high top Converse.  Suddenly the striking of leather against leather stops as the appearance of a camera person is noted.  From around the bag, Georgie moves into view.  She brings one glove upwards to pull the edge open with her teeth and pulls it off.  Looking to the camera, she nods and calls out.

Georgie Robertson:  Be with you in a tick.

She continues to remove the gloves and once both are off her taped hands, she knots them together and drapes them around her neck as she sits on a stool and with one finger, motions for the cameraperson to come closer.

Georgie Robertson:  I guess that it is time for me to directly talk to my opponent for Summer XXXTreme.  So Ariana, the following comments are for you, pay attention.

Georgie Robertson:   I get that you are my opponent and you just so happen to hold a win over me.  Brav fekin oh.  One win and that is all.  But forgive me if I am not worried about that one win.  Sure it was for a chance at a title but what happened huh?  That win ended up leading to a loss.

Georgie’s eyes light up with intensity.

Georgie Robertson:  Then I won against the World Bombshell champion Roxi Johnson…in a non title match but who is counting.  Then you get a shot at that title and what did you do?  Lost again yeah?  Pathetic really.  But the most pathetic of all is that you have to keep nattering on about my record of losses.  Again, I lost those matches but the difference between the two of us is that I let it go.  I don’t care about the past Ariana.  All I care about is where I am aiming from this day onward.

Georgie begins to flex her fingers in anticipation for what could be coming soon.

Georgie Robertson:   The very first step on my way to winning titles is you.  You are the launching pad that I am going to use to send me on the way to earning some title shots.  You are a former champion and should I batter you and pin your shoulders to the mat, I could legitimately say that I should be able to be in the title picture.  So I hope you won’t mind when I get the win and leave you looking up at the ring lights.

Georgie stands up and then reaches for a towel to run it along her neck then runs her hand through her damp hair leaving it tangled as she leans forward.

Georgie Robertson:  I am ready for you Ariana.  Trust that.

With that, she brings her hand up to send the view to black.

Doors slide open as the camera view tracks along a hallway.  Suddenly it switches to view a young man who smiles into the camera and begins to speak.

Interviewer:   We are coming closer to the home of Georgie Robertson, Sin City Wrestling Bombshell and we are about to ask our thirty questions in thirty minutes…and here is her door.

The camera turns once more to the front view and reads the number on the door.  A hand moves into camera view and reaches for the doorbell.  The soft chimes can be heard through the door.  The sound of heels on bare floors can be heard then the sound of the doorknob turning.  It opens to reveal Georgie standing there, her dark hair swept back with a teasing curl over her left eye, black stilettos, a dark skirt, a white silken halter under a white men’s button downshirt.  She leans against the door jamb and offers a bit of a smirk to the camera.

Georgie Robertson:   Well hello to you.  I suppose you are here for that thirty thirty thing.  I do have some conditions if that is okay with you.

The camera nods which makes Georgie open the door more and steps to the side and invite the interviewer in.  Turning, Georgie closes the door behind him as he points the camera back at her.

Interviewer:   And what might they be?

Georgie Robertson:   For one, every question you ask, I get to ask one myself.  I know it is supposed to be thirty questions from you but I do have some questions being from across the pond and all.  And now that I have seen you, other questions have come to mind.  Shall we begin?

An audible gulp can be heard before the interviewer agrees.

Interviewer:  Sounds fine for me.  I guess the first question is would you introduce yourself to our viewers?

Georgie passes him and motions for him to follow her.  She leads him into the sunk in living room of her home and sits down on a large comfortable chaise and crosses her legs.  The camera follows her.

Georgie Robertson:  You can call me Georgie if you like.  My full name is Georgianne Robertson.

Interviewer:   And by your accent, you are from the U K?

Georgie Robertson:   Yes I am.  I am from South London.  And that is two questions for you, my turn innit?  Tell me, why have you chosen me for this interview?

Interviewer:   Well, actually you are the only one that really said yes to this.  Although I have to say, you sound different from the voice over the phone.

Georgie’s eyes roll slightly as she bites her bottom lip.  She brings her hand upwards to play with the gold chain that circles her neck.  The interviewer’s eyes follow her movements as he films her.  Seeing the slight bob of the camera, Georgie realizes what is going on and her lip curls into a sultry smile.

Georgie Robertson:  I must have been a bit off love.  Now where were we?

Interviewer:  I wanted to ask you about being a wrestler in Sin City Wrestling.  What made you want to be a wrestler?  And why SCW?

Georgie tilts her head as if thinking of her answer as her fingertip continues to play with her chain across her decolletage.  Under her lashes, she watches as the camera waves with each movement.  Leaning closer, she begins to speak.

Georgie Robertson:  Well, I did watch wrestling and it seemed like something I might be good at.  I have been known to be a fighter somewhat at home.  And SCW…why it just happened to be the one company that I had heard of the most about here where I wanted to do business.  So for me the gamble was a win win.

Interviewer:  You wanted to do business in Vegas?  What kind of business would you be doing here?

Georgie Robertson:  Investment mostly.  Maybe a little bit of gambling on casinos and the like.  If I’m honest, I wasn’t really coming to Las Vegas to wrestle but here we are and now I am a bombshell in SCW.  And from the past year, some would say that I am good and others will point out that my record is not all that good.  My question now.  What do you think…am I good or bad?

Interviewer:  Ummm…I don’t really know one way or another.  I mean I watch the shows and I have  some questions here already prepped.  But I would offer that maybe you are due to get better…right?

Georgie nods as she leans back on the chaise and uncrosses and recrosses her legs.  The interviewer can be seen playing with his tie, loosening it as if finding it hard to breath for some reason.  He coughs slightly as Georgie looks to the side, her gaze appearing to not look at him but she keeps his attention.

Georgie Robertson:  One supposes.  Take for instance this upcoming Summer XXXTreme.  It is my anniversary you know.  I made my debut  at last years event and now this year on that ship, I will be in a match with Ariana Angelos.  Some might say that she is going to be the one to win this match and actually that could be farthest from the truth if one was to ask.  You see, I am not in the least bit worried about facing her as I have been studying her matches and all that.  And if you ask me, I think that I am learning that I need to be more serious when it comes to my wrestling.  I have been focused on the wrong things actually and I need to refocus.

Interviewer:  On what were you focused if I can ask?

Georgie’s eyes swing in his direction once more.

Georgie Robertson:   You can ask but I will tell you that it my little secret and a girl can have some secrets can’t she?

Interviewer:  I guess…ummm…what are you doing?

Georgie has moved the fingers playing with her chain to the buttons of her shirt.  They have teased one button open and have moved further down her shirt that is now gaping slightly open.  Another audible swallow comes from the interviewer which has Georgie smiling, the tip of her tongue moving along her lip.

Interviewer:   Are you trying to seduce me?

Georgie Robertson:  I am not trying to seduce you…

She gets to her feet and slowly, gracefully moves to where the interviewer is sitting and leans forward so her perfume teases his nostrils as she caresses one hand through his hair, tangling it slight before her hand moves to cup his face.

Georgie Robertson:  Would you like me to seduce you?

Interviewer:  uhhh

Georgie leans down, her lips barely a breath away from his lips as he slowly nods in agreement.   The camera cuts out the feed.

Two hours later, the elevator opens to reveal Georgie’s friend Lalita dressed in a pair of dark grey pants and a red silk blouse.  With a black portfolio held in her arm, she reaches for the door handle only to have the door open to reveal the interviewer, disheveled and smiling bemusedly exiting the apartment.  Georgie appears in the doorway in only the man’s buttondown and not much else, waving teasingly and blowing a kiss to the interviewer who waves a final time as the elevator doors open.  Lalita looks between the now disappeared interviewer and Georgie.

Georgie Robertson:  Hullo Lalita

Lalita:  He looked a little young Georgie.

Georgie turns and moves back into the apartment and heads towards the bar.  Stepping behind it, she pours a glass full of a golden liquid.  She waves the bottle of iced tea at Lalita who shakes her head.  Setting it back down, Georgie steps around the bar and once more sits on the chaise, this time, she reclines and puts a hand behind her head.

Georgie Robertson:   what he lacked in experience, he made up with enthusiasm.  Oh I suppose  I should thank you for setting up this interview.

Lalita:  You are welcome.  Considering that you have this match coming up on the ship.  Speaking of, I have your itinerary for this trip.  You have been booked into one of the balcony staterooms on the Princess and you will be boarding in Los Angeles in two days.

Georgie Robertson:  Two days…right.  So I guess if I am to get ready, I should be packing soon.  But first I should have a rabbit about my opponent for this supercard.  Who am I facing again?

Lalita:  Ariana Angelos

Georgie looks down at her mussed up look and then at Lalita with a smirk.

Georgie Robertson:  I guess I am going to have to change yeah?

Lalita nods as she moves to sit down and pulls a phone out of her portfolio.  Georgie drinks the glass of iced tea then rises from the chaise.  She heads towards the bedroom and disappears inside to change.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Georgie Robertson stands in front of a large full length mirror in her bedroom.  She is holding a cell phone as she checks out her appearance.  Across the room is a set of luggage that is open and surrounded by different outfits that are ready to pack.  Georgie tilts her head and addresses her image as if it were someone totally different.

Georgie Robertson:  It has been a year Ariana.  Do you knoiw what a year it has been for me?  Wrestling sick, dealing with deaths in the family?  I have  had an up and down year and it shows.  I am thought of as a throw away opponent.  Losing over and over but in reality, I am still learning yeah?  Granted that learning curve ain’t that easy.  But I have seen some bright spots.  I have also seen the worst of it when it comes to wins.  I know that you have had a great run, winning a title by beating me.  Brilliant on your part if I’m honest.

Georgie still looks at the mirror but she reaches forward to pull something from the closet to reveal a set of tights and a halter in the colours of the Union Jack.  She holds them up and smiles.

Georgie Robertson:  I am done being someone that is going to let myself get the hump with what people say about me.  None of it is going to be a bother anymore because I have made some decisions when it comes to my wrestling.  This supercard is my anniversary of my debut…actually yours too innit?  My point, it is time to make a redebut so to speak.  I need to start pushing myself.  I threw away chances that in all honesty I should have grasped with both hands yeah.

Georgie clutches her hand into the spandex angrily before she takes a slow breath.  Her head rises slightly as she looks down her nose at her reflection.

Georgie Robertson:   Ariana, you are a bird that I would have to say is good.  To deny that is utter bollocks.  But when it comes to this match we have on this ship, it is going to be different this time.  This time I have my eyes on the prizes that will be in my future yeah.  Facing you will set me on the path to drive my ambition right into getting a title here in SCW.  I have beaten a champion once and I am sure that I can beat a former champion like you if I put my mind to it.  And trust me, my mind if fully fixed on you.

Georgie walks away from the closet but she uses her thumb to switch the camera to focus on her face.  She reaches the bed and sets the wrestling gear on the bed by the open suitcase then she sits on the bed and talks to the camera.

Georgie Robertson:  This match Ariana is something that I need to be in.  It has been ages since I have been in the ring and the last time I was, it was the last loss that I would be taking, or so I promised myself.  I just can’t believe that I am not wearing a title or fighting in the championship matches.  But bugger it all, I am coming to batter you until you can’t get up and then I am going to pin you to the mat yeah.  I am tired of being considered second rate.

Leaning back against the headboard of the bed, Georgie pulled her leg up to rest her elbow on her knee for balancing the arm holding the phone.  Her other hand moves up to her hair that looks mussed, a fall of it covering her left eye.  Brushing it back, Georgie plays her fingers through it which only makes it look wilder.

Georgie Robertson:  I don’t know if you know it Ariana but I am not in the mood to have to deal with a random opponent at Summer XXXTreme so when I got a butchers at the card and it was you, I had to smile.  Familiarity breeds contempt but it isn’t the familiarity that should worry you…no, what should really make you think is the fact that you hold a win over me.  Now I ain’t one for revenge Ariana.  Nah, that just ain’t me.  But when it comes to correcting a mistake, that is something that I love doing.   See, I ain’t one to let things just remain or happen again.  When I have lost, I make it my mission to come back better and correct that mistake.  So, you can say that at Summer XXXTreme, I am here to erase the loss I have and take the win from you.

Placing her other arm over the elbow resting on her knee, Georgie leans closer to the camera as if sharing a secret with Ariana.

Georgie Robertson:  I guess the one thing that I can say with confidence is happy anniversary to you Ariana and to me too yeah?  One year ago we made our debut on the ship and my gift for myself on that anniversary will be a win over you.  I have to break this losing streak and where better than where it all began...

From outside of the room, the sound of Georgie’s name being called catches the young woman’s attention.  She hears the voice remind her that the flight was leaving in a few hours and she needed to be ready to go soon.  Georgie smiles at the camera and then she sighes as she looks at the pile of clothing in front of her.

Georgie Robertson:  As much as I would like to rabbit more, I have things to do and places to be.  But don’t worry, you are never far from my thoughts and I am sure that when we meet in that ring on that ship, you will be right in line for a battering and when the referee is raising my arm in victory I want you to remember that it will be your loss that will be my stepping stone to my own way to bigger and better things in SCW yeah.  See you soon Ariana.

One last smile is seen cross the lips of Georgie before she presses end on the phone and tosses it to the side before she looks at the clothes as Lalita enters the room.

Georgie Robertson:  Help me pack?

Lalita shakes her head and then lets it hang as she moves slowly to the closet as the scene fades to black.

Georgie Robertson:  Back in the United States and once again being scheduled to face someone that I had some barney with when we were in Romania.  Do I blame it on the fact that it was Romania that I lost to Laura Phoenix and my title shot for the Internet title.  Maybe it had a little somethin’ to do with it.  That and the fact that even after she beat me, she couldn’t get it done at the supercard.

Georgie shakes her head as she moves towards the drone that is filming her.  Her honey streaked hair is slicked back and her eyes are framed in black.  A soft red lip curls into a half grin as she slowly moves her hands along the rail of the balcony of her penthouse.  The camera on the small drone takes in the image of the woman in a black and white Chanel dress suit and black heels.

Georgie Robertson:  That’s right, I am looking right at the woman that took my title shot, one Laura Phoenix.  My opponent this week.  I am sure that she is sooo happy that she is facing me because it might be a task that she will think is easy…since she beat me before.

Georgie makes air quotes at her last comment.  She sneers, her eyebrow quirking.

Georgie Robertson:  I hope you aren’t thinking that Laura.  Because if you are, you will get a butcher’s at someone that is not your victim this time yeah?  This time Laura I am going to be coming to this match with the hump because you were able to take advantage of the fact that my focus was divided in that match.  This time is different.  This time you have my complete focus.

Georgie Robertson:  And with that focus comes the issue for you that will define this match.  There is no title on the line, no contendership.  This is just you and me, one on one in the middle of the ring and when that happens, that is where I am my most dangerous.  I am sure however, that you will talk about how you beat me and how you will beat me again and I am fine with that.  Crack on with your delusions of being able to repeat your win.

The drone moves to Georgie’s right side, putting her into a profile view that hides the contempt in her eyes.  She doesn’t turn to face the drone but talks as if there is an audience in front of her.

Georgie Robertson:  Laura, I am not in the mood to do much talking when it comes to having to deal with letting people know what I am going to do to them.  I prefer to do my talking in the ring with these…

Georgie holds her hands up, looking at them over with a half smile before she holds one up higher, her fingers curling into a fist.

Georgie Robertson:  So rather than bore myself talking about the match, let me just say that I am not going to hold back.  I am coming to Climax Control with a mission and that is to kick your harris from ringpost to turnbuckle.  ‘Nuff said.

Georgie spares a small glance at the camera then turns and disappears into her home leaving the drone to hover over the balcony then drift onto the small table that is sitting outside the door.

Georgie Robertson:  Romania…it had to be Romania?!?

The young woman’s voice was filled with disgust as she slowly rose from the backseat of the rather old fashioned car wearing a pair of black pants and a white tank under a trendy letterman jacket.  On the other hand, Lalita in a dark dress and heels was also exiting the car, a pair of sunglasses slowly being raised along with a skeptical eyebrow.  The two women share a look and both shudder slightly.

Lalita:  I had heard that this is where you come to rent campers Georgie.  The way I hear it, this is the best rental place for this kind of thing.

Georgie:  You have got to be kidding me Lalita, there ain’t nuffin’ here that would even be worthy of being called a camper.  And explain to me again why we have to camp out in this alleged haunted forest.

Lalita finished pushing the glasses to the top of her head and slammed the door of the car after a string of what was probably Romanian curse words.

Lalita:  According to the email that was sent out by Mark Ward, he said that since he wasn’t going to be in Romania, every wrestler was going to have to camp out in the forest…no exception!  So I called ahead to find a camper rental and this is what I got..Laszlo’s rentals or at least that is what I thought it said.

The driver inches forward, forcing Georgie to slam her door.  He stops and then exits the car to open the boot of the car and lug out their suitcases leaving them in a heap on the road before getting back into his vehicle and leaning out of the window.

Cab driver:  You talk Laszlo, he fix you up.

The driver pulls away with a large puff of black smoke that makes Lalita cough.  Georgie turns away, eyes watering as she looks around for this “Laszlo”

Georgie Robertson:  So where is this Laszlo?

A wolf whistle from the side gets the attention of both ladies who turn angrily to find a swarthy teenager with a smirk on his face.  He is dressed in a blousy shirt with embroidery and dark felt pants.  His boots stop mid calf and a diamond earring flashes in one ear.

Youth:  You lookin’ for Uncle Laszlo?  I, Nico, will take you to him.  Follow me pretty ladies.

Georgie and Lalita each grabs their own bag and follow the youth who leads them to a circle of wagons where an old lady in colourful clothing is sitting on the front of one and a middle aged man in an almost matching costume of Nico is seen arguing with her in Romany.

Lalita:  Oh my god, pikeys…Laszlo’s rental is owned by a bloody pikey.  Nah, ain’t bloody happenin’

Lalita’s outburst gets the attention of the old woman whose dark eyes sparkle with an amused anger while the man turns on Lalita angrily.   Georgie hangs back a little, her eyes on the old lady who turns to wink at the young woman.

Laszlo:  You here for why?

The old lady holds out her hand and motions to the man.

Old Gypsy woman:  They are here to rent a wagon Laszlo.  This one is going to be fighting for something soon and they need to be protected from things that could do them harm.  They go into the forest and need talismans.

The woman cackles as Lalita shakes her head.  Georgie is intrigued by the woman and moves closer.

Georgie Robertson:  How did you know that?

The old woman taps at her temple with another wink then points at something behind the two.  Turning, Georgie sees that she is pointing to a rather ratty looking promotional poster for Climax Control.  Shaking her head, Georgie turns around and looks back at the old woman who has leapt down from the wagon and is approaching her.

Georgie Robertson:  Oy…what are you on about?

Not speaking, the gypsy woman grabs the hand of the young woman and brings it upwards to squint at it.  She looks up at a surprised Georgie and points into her palm.  The young woman from South London tries to pull away but the talons of the old lady hold her fast.

Old Gypsy woman:  You are not who you claim to be…but you are exactly who you are.  I see here that you will be put to the test.  Two women are in your future and both will try to hold you back but you will overcome.  I see you as a challenge…you will be winning much before you g home to win more.

Georgie looks into her palm and then at the old woman who slips back into the stereotypical romani woman who gives fortunes to tourists.  Lalita pulls Georgie’s hand from her then drags her along away from the rental place.    Laszlo calls out

Laszlo:  You still need camper for forest?  You want to give look see?

Lalita stops and turns to the gypsy man and nods curtly.

Lalita:  I will need you to deliver it to the Hoia Forest.  Let’s get this over with shall we?

She moves towards the campers followed by Georgie who continues to look at the gypsy woman who has drawn a small crowd of young people who are pointing at the poster then Georgie herself.  Laszlo guides the pair around a few campers and out of sight of the jabbering youth.

Laszlo guides them into a camper that seems rather well taken care of but still a bit small.  Georgie steps through to the bed area where a colourful  blanket is laid out on a bed.  Laszlo can be heard selling the camper rental to Lalita who is haggling on the price.  Suddenly, Georgie catches a glimpse of herself in a mirror that distorts her image.  Behind her through the window, the wrestling poster is there with Georgie’s head framed by it with what looks like the word win.  A smile breaks over her face and she turns to Lalita.

Georgie Robertson:  Tell him we’ll take it.  And tell him we want it delivered today.

Laszlo beams at that comment as Lalita just shakes her head in surprise at the comment from Georgie who gets to her feet and exits the camper leaving Lalita to arrange for the camper and delivery.  Moving to the gypsy woman, Geogie holds out her hand and waves it for her.

Georgie Robertson:  Tell me old woman, do you see me winning on Sunday?

The gypsy woman nods solemnly before her face cracks with a smile at Georgie who begins to smile herself.  Lalita joins her shaking her head.

Lalita:  WE have that thing for three days…you are going to owe me Georgie.  My idea of camping is a four star hotel…

Georgie just laughs as she turns to walk away.  Lalita keeps following her still complaining.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Georgie Robertson can be seen walking in a stand of trees in the twilight, tendrils of fog curling around her lower legs.  She has her hair pulled back into a slick style that has a soft curl hanging over her forehead.  Walking ahead of her, Lalita has a Go Pro pointed at the young brit before counting down and then pointing at Georgie.

Georgie Robertson:  Well, what do you ken is going to happen now that we are so far into the unsolved mysteries tour.  I must tell you that I have solved some mysteries that have been swirling around the of Sin City Wrestling.  First, what has happened to me that I was out of the spotlight.  That one was easy to solve…I just couldn’t be arsed to be in the ring.  That and that I was suffering from the ‘vid.  But now I am back and better than ever.

Georgie Robertson:  The next mystery was why I haven’t gotten the chances that I should have been given.  It was because I was facing Jessie Salco and tell you what…she did manage to beat me because I she just needed the win that much more than I did.  So, in a way, I was the one that gifted her the chance to become a champion again.  You are welcome, Jessie.

The smirk on the face of Georgie oozed contempt as her lips curled into a sneer.

Georgie Robertson:  Now with that good deed, what did that earn me hmmm?  A chance to be given the chance to win a shot at the Bombshell Internet title.  Am I going to take this serious?  No doubt that I am going to be as serious as a heartattack in going to get me a shot.  But the mystery of that is how will I accomplish this feat considering that I am going to be facing two others who want the chance just as much as I do.

Georgie looks down at the curling fog and kicks at it.

Georgie Robertson:  My first opponent is Laura Phoenix.  The oldest woman in this match, granted age does give experience and I know she will let you know that she is someone that needs to be taken seriously.  If I am honest however, you have the aged against me…I am younger and faster and more dangerous that her.  She has a daughter who is a bombshell so one has to wonder just why she has joined Sin City Wrestling at her age.  Is this actual evidence of some sort of midlife crisis?  Like if she were a man, this would be like buying a little red sports car to validate their continued relevance.  As much as I think that she needs that validation, will it be worth getting her ‘arris kicked?

Georgie Robertson:  Then there is Seleana Zdunich.  The sad shadowed wife of Christina Caldwell…I mean Crystal Hilton…I mean…who cares.

Shaking her head, Georgie moves towards a tree and leans against it to focus on the camera again.

Georgie Robertson:  Seleana is another woman who seems to be cruising through Siun City Wrestling with no real direction.  That and the fact that she keeps getting title shots and number one contender matches without even being worth of them.  I mean what has she done lately to even have earned the match that she has this weekend?  If I was the person that I booked these cards I would be putting her in a match that would be the opening one because she really can’t headline shows anymore…

Lalita:  (interrupting)  Georgie…your match is the opening match at Climax Control.

Georgie Robertson:  Oh my bloody god!  Putting me in the opener?  I guess they wanted to have the most exciting match first.  Setting the tone of the night with the best match.  I guess then that I have to change my opinion of the booker of the card.  I seriously thought is was some know nothing, not thought out choices but obviously the booker realizes talent by putting me in the opening match.

Georgie begins to slow clap with a smirk.

Georgie Robertson:  Brav fawking oh.  You just put Seleana and Laura in the first match to get their ‘arris’s kicked then they can go and drowned their losses while I celebrate my win.  I hope you have some kind of bone to throw them so their disappointment won’t be too much.  Because I am coming to win this match and when I do…I will be setting my sights on the bombshell Internet title at home in London.

With that Georgie pushes away from the tree and begins to walk once more towards the camera, a smile breaking over her face as her hand comes up to cover the lens to send the scene to black with only the sound of soft laughter heard from the darkness.

The sounds of the slot machines fight with the low murmur of the patrons praying to whatever gambling gods would bring them their jackpot dreams or cursing the devils that took their last dollar.  The song that rings out when a winner hits the jackpot mixes with the clink of glasses from the bar.  To one side sits a woman, her profile dark against the neon of the games in the Golden Ring casino. Dressed in a red and black halter with dark skin tight leather pants that tuck into black knee high boots, Georgie looks like she was just out people watching and enjoying a night at the casino.

A dark-skinned beauty in a black dress that hugs every curve moves towards the woman, her hands wrapped around two glasses.  Setting one on the small table, the Indian woman slides into the banquette and raises her glass in a half salute.  Georgie Robertson looks down at the glass, picks it up, and returns the salute.  Both women bring the glasses to their lips and sip at the golden liquid in it.

Georgie:  So, from the taste of it they don’t stint much on the booze yeah?  Tells me that this place is definitely not a second-rate boozer.

Lalita nods slowly as she twirls her glass.  She takes another sip of the drink and sets it in front of her.  Georgie meanwhile slowly rims the drink, her finger skimming along the alcohol before she brings her finger to her lips to taste the old fashioned.  Smiling, she turns her eyes to Lalita and leans closer.

Georgie:  I guess that Grandad has plans for me and this place.  Has he got me givin’ this place a butcher’s?  Some kind of report innit?

Lalita:  Georgie, your grandad wouldn’t have sent family if that was all he would want from this.  Besides, from what I hear…this casino is under London Underground management.  I am surprised that you ain’t been made yet.  But I do have to admit, the view ain’t too bad.

Georgie sputters the drink that she had sipped as she fights not to laugh.  Setting the drink down, she plays a finger over her lips to wipe at the alcohol then picks up the small napkin and wipes her fingertips leaving a slight red smear on the white as if underlining the brand logo on the napkin.   Georgie leans back into the banquette and sighs with pleasure.  She lets her eyes scan the room as Lalita leans to the side and nods in the direction of the bar.  Georgie’s eyes follow hers and a smile curls across her lips.

Georgie:  I doubt that they could considering that I am a bombshell at Sin city Wrestling and this seems to be a local for the wrestlers and bombshells.  Which means me being here ain’t gonna raise eyebrows at all yeah?

Lalita:  That is true but still…

Georgie:  You is seeing smoke where there is no fire.  I am pretty sure that no one will connect me and Grandad.  We don’t even share the same last name Lal.  That is why I have always been able to slip in and out of the life you know.  And will continue to iffin I want to take my place in the family.

The two women watch as people wander around the bar area.  Recognizing a couple of the people from London Underground, Georgie ducks her head as she pulls down the brim of the cap she has on her head.  Not wanting to be noticed, she pushes back into the darkness of the corner that she had chosen.

Lalita:  I got more information for ya.  I checked out the bettin’ book here.  Found out they is taking bets and givin’ odds on Blaze of Glory.  You would never guess what the spread is for yer match.

Georgie:  Good odds?

Lalita:  If ya ask me, you is the underdog in your match.

Georgie:  Wot?  Does that mean you put a fiver down?

Lalita:  For you…put a tenner on it.

The pair laugh which catches the attention of those close by.  Picking up her glass, Georgie holds it up and smirks.

Georgie:  Here’s to the underdog winnin’ Lal.  And when I do, taking the Roulette title.

Lalita:  Speaking of, what the hell is a roulette title shot?  Given that you ain’t been a wrestler for too long, what kind of match is a roulette rules?

Georgie sips at the glass, the ice in the glass hitting her lips.  She pulls the glass away and stares into it.  Lalita finishes hers and then sets it on the table to lean her elbows on it and steepling her fingers, she watches Georgie who slowly starts to set her own glass back against her lips, sips then sets the drink on the table.

Georgie:  ‘ow in the ‘ell am I ta know?  From what I am told, there is this roulette wheel that they like to spin and when they do, that is how they decide the match.  I heard that ya can’t know your match except just before it.  So with this kind of match I ain’t going to be able to train for it.  I am going to have to go back to basics yeah?  Makin’ me think that I am going to haf ta go back to the streets of South London.

This brings a grimace to Lalita’s face which makes Georgie laugh.

Lalita:  You never ran the streets Georgie.  You was always the good girl, not the bird that had ta fight behind the boozer.  There wasn’t anyone that would chance challenging you considering your brother…

Georgie:  Yeah yeah…Billy blue eyes had all the girls gaga.  Are you suggesting that I throw him in the ring at my opponent at the supercard?

Lalita:  Nah…he wouldn’t want to be in the ring with your opponent.

Georgie:  I know what you are sayin’ and trust me, I don’t think I want ta get in the ring with Crystal either.  From what I hear, she ain’t someone to mess with.  She’s a bird that is a bit out of her head too.  Dizzy kretin doesn’t know who or wot she is.  All I know is that I am gonna beat her Jack and Danny and take that title.  I ain’t gonna be bovvered with what I have to crack on wif but I tell ya now, I ain’t shook about the match.

Georgie leans forward, her hand fisting up and slamming into the table top which clinks the glasses on it.

Georgie:  I am gonna see that bird owned and put in her place yeah?

Lalita:  Brap girl!

Shooting her hand out, Georgie grabs her glass and drains it before setting the glass back and sliding out of the banquette to stand in front of Lalita and motions for her toward the doors.

Georgie:  Night’s dry now.  I am out of here.

Lalita watches as Robertson turns and begins to make her way out of the casino.  Lalita heads toward the door in a slow strut as she continues to eye all the people in the casino, winking at a few men with a smirk.  Before they can follow her, she pushes her way through the door calling out for her friend who has moved to a range rover and is yanking open the door.

Lalita:  Georgie girl…I’m sorry that I was talking about your match…

Georgie:  Innit always the way.  Just when ya think you are able to enjoy yourself, someone has to go and make me think…Get in…we have some training to do.

Lalita nods and moves around the vehicle and opens her own door.  The two women climb inside and then the engine revs.  Backing out of the parking spot, a squeal of the tires signals the departure of the Rover.  The last view is the taillights of the car disappearing to the neon lights of the Vegas strip.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

A woman is seen standing in the middle of a lit up ring dressed in what can only be described as a bodysuit that molds to the body of the woman, her hands wrapped in tape and a pair of Converse in a Union Jack pattern on her feet.  Georgie is shadowboxing in the middle of the ring, her dark hair curling damply against her forehead in a tangled mess.  Suddenly the woman stops and turns to face what looks like a camera that has been filming her.  Ducking her head, she lets a smile begin to curl her lips.

Georgie:  Can you feel it, the excitement that is building and building in preparation for Blaze of Glory.  I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t getting excited meself.  See, I was given a chance to challenge for the Roulette title of the Bombshells and there are so many people doubtin’ me.  Well, let me just tell you that I ain’t one.

Georgie:  See, I know I earned my shot to that title and that is something that stings innit?  Someone that is still new here in SCW getting a shot at the title so quickly.  Now there are birds that would be chirping about how I ain’t someone that deserves the title or the chance at the title and those is voices that I ain’t gonna be arsed with their jibber jabber.  They is talking to talk but saying nothing that I am bovvered ‘bout.

Georgie moves to the ring ropes, one hand beginning to scratch at the edge of the tape on her opposite hand.  As it begins to unravel, she continues to speak to the camera.

Georgie:  And speaking of this match I have to address the bird that holds the title.  Crystal Hilton is the name on the card…Christina Rose is an alias…so is Crystal Caldwell…If I am honest, seems I have to deal with more than one woman in this match.  Honestly, who let’s a person with MPD out of of their straight jacket…let alone let them be a champion.  Seems to me that is just askin’ for a bad situation.

Georgie:  I guess that isn’t a problem for the holder of the Bombshell Roulette title.  Ya need to be a bit touched in the brainbox to fight for that title yeah?  What does that say about the fact that I am going to be doing just that at the supercard.

Georgie rolls up the tape and tosses it to the side before she tugs at the second hand.  She begins to unroll the tape, seeming to laugh at the thought she just raised.

Georgie:  Crystal or whoever you are this week, I want you to know that I ain’t impressed with you and what you have achieved yeah.  I have had a butcher’s at your career here in SCW and yeah, you have won a few titles and you think you are the shite here in the company.  The only reason you are where you are is that the owners took pity on you.  That is right…I said it.

Georgie:  I have seen it.  You come in and win then you own it all.  But you lose…then you take your toys and bugger off to your own yard until you think that everyone has forgotten your attitude then make a return with some little gimmick that is as old as Caesar’s balls and so obvious that it isn’t a surprise anymore.  I have seen it…Crystal leaves…suddenly there is the return as a masked wrestler that was obviously you and when you got called out about it, you had no choice but to reveal it was you.

Georgie rolls her eyes at her own comment as she gets to the end of the tape and begins to ball it up in her hand.  She takes a look at it then holds it up to the camera.

Georgie:  If this was a crystal ball…pun not intended…I would be givin’ it a butchers and wot do ya think I would be seeing.

Georgie waves her hand over it like a fortune teller as she brings it up in front of her face.

Georgie:  Well will you look at that.  I see a match at the start of the card where Crystal is in the middle of the ring.  But the images are flipping through many variations.  In one image, I see you Crystal crying in pain as you have your body twisted into positions that a porn star can’t even do.  And then it changes to you on your back, your ‘arris beaten and shoulders pinned to the mat as a hand counts the three.  The way I look at it Crystal is that you are in position to lose your title.  And when that happens, once more you are going to hang your head and disappear crying that you lost your smile or some such nonsense.  Well I guess the best thing for ya is to just admit it now that you aren’t going to win this match and be at peace with that.  I know I am.

The woman stops for a moment and gets a thoughtful look on her face.

Georgie:  You know, there is the small chance that you might cheat out the win.  Well ifin you do, there is something that I need to remind you.  You may win but you will not make me walk away with my tail between my legs like you like to do.  I will pick meself right back up and then come right after that title one more time.

Georgie:  So don’t count me out Crystal.  I am comin’ for ya and I am comin’ to beat yer ‘arris around that ring until you have no choice but to give up and give me the win.

Without saying anything else, Georgie turns and walks across the ring and then slides between the ropes and disappears into the darkness that surrounds the ring.

Climax Control Archives / Just small talk
« on: February 18, 2023, 12:01:43 AM »
OOC//Sorry for such a poor roleplay, it became a bloody corrupt file when I emailed it to meself so I was forced to put up this roleplay that I could get finished in time.

Georgie Robertson, a girl from South London.  Bit of a prat who up until now has got no respect for anyone or anything in Sin City Wrestling.  Someone who quite rightly walks around with a chip on her shoulder and an attitude.  Looking down on the world as a challenge that could be given or taken.
Well, that is the start of the conversation tonight innit?  Georgie Robertson looks directly at the camera and speaks softly.

Georgie Robertson:  Well, will you have a butcher’s at the card that they have put on for this Sunday and Climax Control.  Someone definitely has the bollocks to put me in the main event and if you ask me, it is where I ought to be.  And facing the champion no less.

Georgie sighs as she straightens up, her arms rising above her head to stretch out as if bored.

Georgie Robertson:  Right, I get it.  I really do.  It’s the Bombshell champion Amber Ryan I am facing and she’s damn tough.  Ain’t like I haven’t had my share of tough and beat on it like it was some kind of drum.  Which is literally what I am about to crack on with.  Proving to Amber that I don’t roll over for anyone.
As a matter of fact, I am coming to Climax Control to start making a name for meself.  Hell, I beat a hall of famer in Roxi Johnson at Inception.  Ain’t she the bird what beat you for your title?  Which begs the question, if I beat her, what does that say about what is going to happen on Sunday.

Georgie smiles slowly as she leans forward towards the camera.

Georgie Robertson:  I will admit that I could have done more this week.  I could have prepared much better but I had more to do for someone else that I put you on the back burner and maybe I shouldn’t have done that.  I guess you are going to step up like I ain’t nothing to you and beat me and you better hope you do.  Because if you don’t, then when I put you on your back and pin your shoulders for the one two three…might just earn me a chance to take your title next time.
And I do apologize now for being less than enthused about facing you.  See I have taken note of just how you like to talk and talk and well you get what I am sayin’.  Whether I win or lose, I am going to take it as a learnin’ experience.

Georgie gets a very serious look on her face.

Georgie Robertson:  As much as I know I am the better person, there is always a way that will end up with me on the losing end and I am fine with that.  I will however make you earn the win by battering you until it is do or die.  You want the win…Earn it.

With that, Georgie turns and walks away from the camera leaving it to film a blank wall.

Supercard Archives / Re: GEORGIE ROBERTSON v ROXI JOHNSON
« on: January 13, 2023, 11:42:41 PM »
The sound of soft music filters out onto the coolish air as a woman can be seen standing on a balcony, the lights of Vegas spread out like gemstones on a blanket of dark velvet.  In one hand a cut crystal glass is held on the balcony railing, the darkness hiding the liquid inside it, and the other hand brushes the soft curls back off the forehead of the woman who is dressed in a pair of sweats that ride low on her hips and a black halter with a red batman symbol on the center of the chest.  She stares intently over the city.

From inside, the sound of heels on the tiles of the walkway to the balcony can be heard.  Not turning, Georgie calls out into the night.

Georgie:  So, what do you have to tell me Lalita?

The woman known as Lalita smiles as she moves closer to Georgie who tosses back the last of the alcohol in the glass and then turns to face the Indian woman.  Lalita joins her at the balcony rail and rests her elbows on it.

Lalita:  You were right Georgie, you do have your Granddad wanting you to move ahead with his plan.  He said it was up to you to handle this.  He told me that if you managed to do this, he would put in his good word to get you the chance to really show your worth.  Billy is wondering what you are on about and why your granddad put you in charge of this job.

Georgie scoffs at Lalita’s comment.

Georgie:  That is just like Billy Blue Eyes.  Always thinking that he should be the one that is given these jobs.  He never understood why Granddad would favour me like he does and we won’t tell him, will we?

The two women laugh as Georgie links her arm with Lalita’s and the two reenter the condo.  A fire burns to warm the space.  Lalita approaches it just as the crackle of a log breaking is heard faintly.  Georgie stands in the middle of the room and watches before moving to the small table nearby and picking up the small stack of money there.

Georgie:  Lal…I want you to take this and I want you to look into buying stock.  I have to get ready to be in the next supercard for SCW.  Someone actually remembered that I am a bombshell there…

Lalita moves to Georgie’s side and reaches out for the money.  Stuffing it into her pocket, Lalita nods and then moves to the door.  With one hand on the doorknob, she looks back at Georgie who moves to the fireplace and placing her hands on the mantle, looks into the flames and smiles as sparks flash.

Lalita (under her breath):  Whoever she is facing…I wish them luck.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Stockton California, the location of Sin City Wrestling’s Inception six supercard, is filled with fans as they look to spy any of their favourite superstars and bombshells.  Many of the talent in SCW had been seen here and there in the city but there is one that has managed to avoid being seen.

Darkness covers the city but the silhouette of a person can be seen on a distant rooftop.  The camera view moves closer to reveal Georgie Robertson dressed in what looks like some kind of superhero gear as she looks over the city.  The cameraman approaches the edge of the roof but is stopped by a voice that is heard from behind him.

Georgie’s voice:  Be careful, wouldn’t want you to fall.  Listen, stay right there and you can get the exclusive.  Focus your camera this way and open ya ears.

The figure turns to look at the cameraman revealing a small mask covering her eyes.

Georgie’s Voice: Twenty twenty two was an interesting year to be sure.  If I am honest, I have debuted and I won some matches and lost others.  But just when people think they have a scoobie of what I am capable of, I flip the script.  I guess you could say that I am an unknown for some.  They have me pegged or so they think.  And let them think that.

See, I want to be the one that makes people talk.  I want all those birds in the bombshells’ locker room to realize that I am the most dangerous bombshell.  I look like some kind of angel but I am the devil with details.  Like how much I am on my game when preparing for my matches and it is only luck that people beat me.  Take for instance my opponent for Inception…the hero of SCW…Roxi Johnson.

That is right, I said it.  She is some kind of superhero here in SCW.  Guess that makes me the villain in this match.  That suits me just fine because in this match, I am going to be the villain.  I am going to step into the ring with Roxi and I am going to steal the win like a supervillain would.  In this match of good and evil, Roxi is going to have a bloody hard time trying to keep up with me.  Oh, it isn’t the fact that she is old..she is a veteran after all.  It is the fact that she has done it all so would it be the driving force behind me taking the fight to her.

I guess that being the villain means that I am going to have to cheat.  Sad part is that most people would say I have to do that because Roxi would be too much for me in this match and if I am honest again…no one is too much for me.  I have stayed in the shadows for the most part.  Sure, people have seen me wrestle but outside of the ring, no one knows what I do or how I train or how I prepare and that is to the good.  Guess you could say that is my secret identity.  Georgie Robertson, the young woman from South London.  Georgie, the newest bombshell to throw her hat in the ring.  Georgie, the woman chosen to face Roxi Johnson…the woman chosen to beat Roxi Johnson.

If you ask me about the match coming up, the only thing that I would say is that it is going to be epic.  On one hand you have veteran Roxi who has done it all.  Titles, records, achievements…she IS a name in Sin City Wrestling.  One of the greats says everyone who I have talked to.  A woman that will win no matter what.

She is going to be going for the win but in all seriousness, I hope she is ready to step into the ring with me.  She knows nothing but what I have put out there so far.  She has seen only what I wanted everyone to see but there is more to me than anyone knows.

I am the one that has a kernel of darkness right here…

Georgie taps at her chest then her hand moves to tap lightly against her temple as the camera catches the flash of a smirk.

Georgie’s voice:  Every villain has a hero that they need to defeat and this week, you Roxi are mine.   I am going to be the villain to your hero, the ying to your yang…the polar opposite to the Roxi Johnson fangirl bombshells you get into the ring with.  I am coming to beat you and elevate my name in the ranks of bombshells in SCW.

I do have to admit though that in a different life we could almost be friends.  Maybe we are in a different life because like in a comic you know how you can tell who the villain is…they are the one that is the exact opposite of the hero and most times, they are friends.

But on Sunday, there is no hero and no villain.  There is only you and me in the ring and once the bell sounds, it will be me that will take the win...take the win…take th…zzzt

The voice breaks up making the cameraman turn away from the silhouette to see a shower of sparks.  It turns back to where the silhouette was only to find that she has disappeared.

Cameraman:  Holy vanishing act Batman!

Lalita, the companion and friend of SCW Bombshell can be seen in a boxing ring dressed in a pair of dark spandex shorts, a matching black sports bra and her long black hair pulled back into a long braid that hangs over her shoulder.  In her hand is a clipboard that she is reading as she seems to be waiting for someone.

A loud bang breaks the heavy silence which draws the eyes of Lalita upward to the woman that has just entered dressed in rather tattered jeans, black high heel boots, a skin tight Clash tee with a pair of sunglasses covering her eyes.  She has a bag hanging from one finger over her shoulder as she makes her way toward the ring.

Lalita:  Bout time Georgie, you told me to be here and you are… Lalita looks at the watch on her wrist then back up late.

Georgie reaches up and then slowly pulls the glasses down her nose to smirk at her friend.

Georgie:  I had to talk to Grandad about his notes and update him on what is going on here.  He told me that me brother is making noises that he wants to come ‘cross the pond.  We need to move ahead.

Lalita:  That is well and good Georg…but right now those that be at Sin City Wrestling have remembered that you signed a contract and have decided to have you in the ring this week.

Georgie looks surprised at Lalita who has turned away to toss the clipboard to the side and then cracks her neck before stepping up to the ropes and lays her arms over them while raising her eyebrow in Georgie’s direction.  Getting the hint, Georgie nods and then turns to disappear into a room to the side.  Moment’s later, the young Brit walks out, her clothes now a pair of silklike red boxing shorts, a matching red sports bra and a faded Stones tee.  On her feet are unlaced converse high tops in the colours of the UK flag.

Sliding into the ring, Georgie moves to the corner and then puts one foot on the middle turnbuckle and ties the laces of one shoe before changing feet to secure the other.  Turning around, she just manages to bring her arms up to block a round house kick from Lalita.

Georgie:  OY!  What are you on about?

Lalita shoots Georgie a not so apologetic grin and begins to bounce on the balls of her bare feet in a slow circle around Georgie.

Lalita:  I am preparing you to face Bea Barnhart.  So, first things first…sneak attack because that git don’t know better.  Now…

Lalita attempts another sneak attack as she had moved up on Georgie but she is sent backpedalling by Georgie who spins to the side and pulls her foot upward.  Lalita wags a finger at Georgie who grins herself and straightens to face Lalita and without warning, charges the Indian woman and takes her to the canvas with a clothesline.  Rolling to her hands and knees, Lalita manages to defend herself from an attacking Georgie who stops and then offers her hand to her friend.

Georgie:    Let’s go again Lalita…but this time don’t go so easy on me.  We both know that Bea will TRY not to be too easy.

Lalita nods and then motions for Georgie to bring it.  The scene fades out on the pair locking up in the middle of the ring with Lalita turning Georgie into a headlock that she chains with a hammerlock and then another headlock.

Georgie:  Bloody cheat

The deep throated laughter is the last thing heard as the pair continue to wrestle in the ring.

~*~*~*~*~*~

The profile of a woman is seen, bright light hiding her features until the camera moves around to face Georgie Robertson who is leaning on the ropes of the six sided ring that had been set up for Climax Control three forty nine.  Georgie has a smirk on her face before she addresses the camera that is being held by Lalita who is dressed in a black leather jacket, silver crop top, jeans and boots.

Georgie:  Well now, seems that finally someone is taking me serious.  Not really but we’ll give em the benefit of the doubt shall we?  Either way, this week they have me in a match against someone I have already battered in the mush.  Once again, I get to put Bea Barnhart in her place.

Georgie pushes away from the ropes and stalks towards Lalita who focuses on her face.

Georgie:  Been a while innit?  Last time I had to face you, I took you for granted Bea.  I mean I knew you were not going to put up that much of a fight and I was right on the money.  And if I am honest, I am taking you for granted this time too.

You know, I believe that you seem to think that you are some kind of big bad that runs the world.  Since you are the bitch…I mean missus of Bulldog Barnhart, let me explain it in terms that you might understand.

You bark and growl like some kind of pitbull that should have me shakin’ in me boots.  Guess what I see when I look at you Bea.  A small, yappy chihuahua with delusions of grandeur, yeah.  You bark like you are the big dog in the fight and in reality all you are is a bitch that I am going to have to put down.

My bark ain’t just a bark.  I am not some show dog, I am a killer rottweiler that is more bite then bark.  I am going to grab ye by the scruff of your neck and shake you like a ragdoll and leave you a bloody mess in the middle of the ring once more.

Georgie pauses for a moment to calm herself before she looks again at the camera, a sneering grin creeping across her face as she addresses the camera once more.

Georgie:  Oh and whot you on about this Curious George thing?  How bloody childish innit.  I guess you have nothing better up here…Georgie taps at her temple with a shake of her head. to talk about.  Grow up and quit actin’ the fool.  So you can insult me like some school girl who doesn’t know better.  You want to claim you are smart, you want to try to show off like someone that needs to be feared.

Listen Bea…You are about as scary as a bumble bee flittin’ around looking for a place to land.  Well bumble, you just come to the ring and try your hardest to sting like the Bea you are.  Lookit me playing word games with your name just like you seem to only know how to do.

Georgie stares intently into the camera, her eyes flashing as a grin changes to a sneer.

Georgie:    Sunday night, Climax Control in this ring…Bea is not going to have anywhere to hide and will be stung by someone that is more dangerous than she is.  Good luck because you are going to need it.

Georgie turns away as Lalita films her leaving the ring and then Georgie turns to the camera as she walks backwards up the ramp giving the bird to the camera as if it were Bea herself standing there.

Firelight flashes on a cut crystal glass that is held in a hand that has a silver signet ring with a gee engraved in it with a diamonds and gold highlighting it.  The fingertips are sparkling in the light too, the clean white French manicure tinted orange from the fire as well.  Only the back of the head of a woman can be seen, the short dark hair slicked against her head as she brings the glass towards her mouth.  The golden liquid inside it tips towards the lips of the woman, her face in profile against the glow from the fireplace.

The door to the room opens to reveal an Indian woman in a dark leather looking skirt, black tights, high heels and a red silk blouse that hugs her figure.  Her dark hair is pulled up into a soft bun at the back of her hair with slight wisps framing her face.

Georgie:   Well look what the cat dragged in.  So, what news Lalita.

The soft drawl of the south London accent brings a smile to the lips of Lalita who moves around the large couch that is facing the fireplace.  On it, Georgie Robertson reclines, her arms stretching out on the back of it, her right hand still clutching the glass that she is now studying as she sloshes the drink inside it.  Georgie looks relaxed in a pair of ripped jeans and a soft cashmere sleeveless turtleneck that outlines her form.

Lalita doesn’t wait for an invitation as she settles herself on the couch and looking at Georgie, she offers her a nod before reaching for the glass and raising it to her lips.  After emptying it, she hands the glass back to Georgie.

Lalita:  What news are you wanting to hear Georgie?  Your brother is charming as always and Billy Blue eyes isn’t stopping in his way to the top of the fam.  He’s been handed a couple of pubs to run for your father.  He’s still trying to slip out your shadow Georgie.  Yer grandad says he isn’t the earner you are though.

Georgie laughs as she pushes up from the couch and moves to the bar that graces the wall opposite of the fireplace.  She leans over the top of it and reaches for a bottle that is sitting on the bar.  Pulling it out, she looks back at Lalita and waves it in offer.  Lalita nods and Georgie splashes the scotch into her glass then sets the bottle on the bar before moving to grab a matching crystal glass and fills it too.  Putting the stopper into the bottle, she grabs the second glass and holds it out for Lalita who takes it.

Georgie:  How is Grandad?  Still kickin’?

Lalita:  Bit heartbroken if I am honest.  He misses you.  And he told me that he wants you back to keep Billy Blue Eyes in check.  He says that you being a wrestler ain’t right.

Georgie chuckles as she brings the glass to her lips.  Gulping a burning sip, Georgie grimaces at the taste and draws in a deep breath.

Georgie:  Grandad always wanted me to be a lady not a bruiser.  Even though he taught me ta box himself, I was still his Georgie girl.  But it may not be right but it is something I feel like I gotta do Lalita innit?  Me dad ain’t gonna let me take over the family so what is there for me yeah?

A pained look crosses the face of Georgie who runs her thumb against her full lips.  Across the couch, Lalita shakes her head as she leans over to set the crystal tumbler on the table.

Lalita:  You know your Grandad still has last word.  Besides, he said that he wanted me to bring you something.  Seems he has been looking into the situation here and he noticed that there is a bit of business that you can handle for him.  So he sent this…

Reaching into the bag she had dropped to the floor beside the couch, she pulls out a rather nondescript folder that Lalita holds out to Georgie who takes it and then setting it on her lap, she flips it open and begins to read it.  She quickly looks up at Lalita who had retrieved her drink and was sipping at it.

Georgie:    You read this?  It what this says true?  And why did Grandad send it?

Lalita nods with a half smile while Georgie straightens on the couch and puts a finger on the paper.

Lalita:  Yer his Georgie girl he said.  He figured you would be the best one to handle it for him.  What do you think he would do?  Billy Blue Eyes ain’t a match for ‘em…but you are according to the old man.

With that, Lalita holds up her glass in a sarcastic toast to Georgie who has turned her eyes back to the folder.  The only sounds remaining in the room as the two women each have their attention on the folder is the crackle of the fireplace and the crystal glasses clinking against the glass of the coffee table as the scene fades out.

~*~*~*~*~*~

A woman can be seen walking along the hallway of the venue where the upcoming Climax Control show is set to happen.  Her dark boots hit the concrete of the floor with a staccato beat of a slow heartbeat of a march.  The camera takes in the dark leather pants, and leather jacket with a belt with silver rivets on it flapping with each step.  The dark hair of the woman flows as she moves along the hall before she stops and turns quickly forcing the cameraman who is following her to stop in his tracks.

Georgie:  Listen mate, I get that we bombshells are what your wet dreams are made of yeah?  That makes ya a creep innit.

The cameraman begins to hem and haw and sputters some attempt at denial which only has Georgie hold her hand up to stop him.  She moves closer, a slow smirk playing over her lips as she approaches.  The cameraman swallows nervously as sweat breaks out on his face.  Georgie brings a hand up to caress along the chest of the man who grins like a fool.  Georgie leans in and her smirk fades slightly.

Georgie:  I ain’t here to fuel your fantasies mate but since you are around and ya have that camera, I am going to make your dreams come true and let you film what I have to say yeah.  I do have a match coming up and I suppose I should talk about the birds that I have to beat.  So you pick up that camera and come with me…

Georgie pulls away from the cameraman and takes her hand off his chest.  She gives it a disgusted look then seeing a sanitizer station, she puts her hand under the spout to allow a clear droplet of sanitizer to dribble onto her hand then she rubs them together before she motions for the cameraman to follow her.

The cameraman nods to follow her, pulling his camera up and pointing it at the brit, catching each sway of her hips as the pair heads towards the sound of equipment being put together.  Stopping in the venue, Georgie smiles and then with a flirty glance, she makes her way down to the ring.  Stepping on the ringsteps, she climbs into the ring and turns to address the cameraman as she lays her arms on the top rope.

Georgie:  You stay right there mate.  This ring isn’t where you belong when I am in it yeah.  Now I am about to give ya my take on what will be happening on Sunday.

Georgie looks down on the cameraman and motions for him to begin filming.  He nods as he takes the viewfinder and points it at Georgie who begins to grin as she lets her hands slowly spread along the top rope.

Georgie:    Sunday night, Climax Control is going to see three bombshells in a fight for a chance to face the bird that holds the bombshell internet title.  Yeah, a triple threat match and I am the one that has the most to prove.  You see, when it comes to chances like this, well if I am honest, I ain’t really been one to get chances like this too often but when I do, it will be a pleasure to take advantage of gettin’ into the ring and putting some birds into the place that they belong and that is behind me.

Georgie keeps one hand on the top rope as she begins to pace along the side of the ring only stopping at the corner where the cameraman is climbing the ringsteps still with Georgie in his view.

Georgie:  Who to talk about first hmmm.  I could talk about Bella Madison who is basically a nothing with no talent but can’t be overlooked.  A boozy blonde with no chance on Sunday.  I mean really, when was the last time she did anything important eh?  Oh, that’s right, she’s the bird that is coming back from injury.  Awww ain’t that special.  And with her coming back and being the definite chosen one in this match, she has nothing to do except step up and try her damnedest to try and beat me in the middle of the ring.  What she doesn’t know is that I know that she may think she is over that injury but when you look at it, it is just a weakness to exploit innit?  That is where I may just focus in this match and take her out right quick like.

Georgie looks at the camera to wink

Georgie:  Maybe I just send her out of the match and deal with the perky Candy.  Honestly, the only thing she reminds me of is the yappy little rats that snooty birds carry around like some accessory.  Ya know the ones, bounce and bark thinking they is a bulldog when they are nothing more than a Yorkie with delusions of grandeur.  That’s it innit?  Your bark doesn’t scare me Candy.  Only thing that has got me worried is the whimpering you are going to do when I kick you to the corner.

Georgie:  If I am honest, you both won’t be in any position to try to claim the win on Sunday.  I have nothing to prove to myself when it comes to this match.  I know I can beat you.  You can say that I am a liar but truth is, I am only stating fact because I haven’t seen anything about you two that makes me worry.  And when I do win, there will be two things that you can do about it…Nothing and like it.  And then I will go on to face the bird with the Bombshell Internet title and win my first title in Sin City Wrestling.

With that, Georgie moves to leave the ring but is stopped by the cameraman who isn’t moving and continues to film her.  Georgie leans closer to him, her lips curled in a sneer.

Georgie:  If you couldn’t guess mate, I’m done talking and you are done being in my presence.   So bugger off before you get your ‘arris kicked.

With Georgie’s threat ringing in his ear, the cameraman rushes off the ringsteps which allows Georgie to leave the ring and he watches and films her as she moves up the aisle and disappears into the shadows of the venue.

Voice:  The view is amazing and the size of this condo is just right for a woman like you.  You will not be disappointed if you put an offer down on this place…

The enthusiastic voice of a realtor can be heard bouncing off the empty walls of a condo offering the glittering view of Vegas and its famous strip.  Looking out over the view as she rests her hands on the balcony’s rail, Georgie Robertson has tuned out the woman who is desperate for a sale from the sounds of her voice.  Ms Robertson lets her eyes close slowly to block out the view as if to let logic offer her arguments against the purchase of the condo.

Realtor:  Miss…hello?

Georgie’s eyes snap open as her head lowers, one hand rising to caress at her temple.  She slowly turns and makes her way back inside of the empty condo.  The realtor brightens as Georgie approaches her with the booking leaflet in her hand.  Tapping it against the palm of her hand, the young brit gives a frigid smile at the realtor making the realtor’s bright smile fade slightly.

Georgie:  I am the girl what is buying this condo yeah.  So I don’t need you selling me out of buying it with ya voice drillin’ into me skull.

The realtor looks shocked at the condescending look of Georgie who then brushes past her and into the other room.  Shellshocked, the realtor trails after Georgie who is now near the door and reaches down for the bag that is laying near the door.  The realtor arrives behind her as Georgie straightens back up and turns to her.

Georgie:  How much wonga do I need to put down to get the keys ta this gaff right now?

The realtor has a quizzical look on her face as Georgie rolls her eyes as the young realtor mutters huh.

Georgie:  I want to know how much money that I need to put down to get the keys to this house right now.

Realtor:  Oooo…this is listed for four hundred thousand dollars.  How would you like to go and look at what mortgages would cost.?

Georgie:  Listen, I ain’t talking mortgage.  I got the money right now.

A look of surprise crosses the face of the realtor who is greeted with a wad of cash that Georgie is waving under her nose.  Sniffing as if it were a delicious food, the realtor’s hand rises slowly without thought to grab at it.  Georgie pulls it away with a soft murmur of denial.

Georgie:  Nah, contract first then the wonga.

Realtor:  Wonga ?!?

Georgie growls as once more her eyes roll.

Georgie:  Money…cash…bread…dough…

Nodding, the realtor opens the portfolio and pulls out a few pages that she sets down on the counter that she had approached.  Georgie follows her to the counter as the realtor pats herself down looking for a pen.  Finding one, she pulls it from her jacket and hands it to Georgie who looks at the contract.  The realtor points out the places for her to sign.  Scrawling her name across all the lines, Georgie smirks at the realtor and hands off the money but keeps her hands on it until the woman hands her the keys.

Georgie:  We done here yeah?  Then sod off.

Georgie guides the realtor to the door and then pushing it open, she motions for the realtor to leave.  The young woman exits but turns to say something else but the last thing she sees is Georgie waving goodbye as the door begins to swing closed.

A middle aged Indian man is seen sitting at a desk, materials behind him in an Indian carpet that hangs on the wall.  In front of him a small porcelain cup rests on a saucer, the wafting steam of the chai flavouring the air around him.  Dressed in a linen suit that has the shirt open at the neck in a keyhole pattern, he sits in front of a fan that gently blows the papers on his desk into little curls around his arm.  A short bell sounds as a figure walks into the room followed by a second figure.  He looks up to see two women in saris.  The first a typical Indian woman with a bindi in the middle of her forehead that matches the aquamarine sari she is wearing.  The other is a Western woman, Georgie Robertson, her short hair curls slightly with the one curl over her eye, a blue and gold sari wrapped around her trim figure.

Man in office:  Hello, my name is Arvindar, how may I help you?

Each woman sits on the small settee that is across from the desk.  Arvindar motions for a shopkeeper to come and then he points to the cup of chai in front of him.  Each woman shares a glance then turns back to Arvindar who lets a stream of Hindi explode at the shopkeeper who rushes away.   Arvindar turns back to the women and the Western woman speaks first in a rather posh sounding accent.

Georgie:  I am looking to have some Indian rugs for my new home.  My friend Lalita here says that your carpets are the best in Delhi.  And nothing but the best for me yeah?

Her cold smile doesn’t reach her eyes but Arvindar beams at the compliment.  His chest puffs out as the shopkeeper makes it back into the office to set two cups of chai in front of the women.  Lalita offers a small smile as Georgie ignores him, her eyes on Arvindar.

Arvindar:  We have very fine carpets miss.  What colours are you looking for?

Georgie ponders for a moment then reaching for the tea, she sips at it offering a hum of pleasure.  She sets the cup on the saucer and turns her eyes once more to the man who is squirming slightly at her glare.

Georgie:  Tell me Arvindar, what colours do you have?

Arvindar:  You will come with me and I will show you the expert carpets my workers have made.  We have all sizes and the quality is very good.  We will also package it and ship it to whereever you want to.  Come…come…

He rises to his feet then steps around the desk and shows Georgie to the back of the shop.  She follows as Lalita sips on her chai.  Guided into a showroom where carpet after carpet is displayed, some on the floor, others hanging on the walls and in their own display racks.  Georgie moves to the rack wehere she fingers the nap of a red, gold and cream Indian rug.  The soft texture brings a smile of pleasure to her face, the feel like petting a silken fur coat.  Turning to the man, Georgie nods.

Georgie:  The quality is very very good Arvindar.  I will be wanting to buy quite a few.  Tell me, what kind of price will I be looking at?

Arvindar can’t hide the greed in his eyes which only makes Georgie smirk.  She tilts her head and then is surprised as he quotes prices that seem to her to be fairly cheap.  Arvindar grabs her by the hand to drag her towards a rack that shows off larger carpets in jewel tones.  He asks her what colour she is interested in.

Georgie:  I am looking for colours of reds and golds for my main rooms but blues and creams and golds for my other rooms.   Lalita, come tell me what you think.

Lalita rises and joins the two in the showroom.  She moves to the carpets and exclaims with glee at a bright red blue and gold rug.  Georgie joins her and the two women have their heads together chattering in a soft whisper.  Arvindar tries to hear what they are saying but both have slipped into an accent he can’t quite make out.  Finally Georgie turns again and points to four large carpets.

Georgie:  I want that one and that and that and that one too.  I will also want the five rugs over there…

Arvindar rubs his hands together as he mentally calculates the sale.  He names a number and Georgie gives Lalita a look to which she nods imperceptibly.  Georgie then gives Arvindar another cold smile before she nods her head.

Georgie:  Thank you, I will leave the information of where I would like these shipped to in the United States and my new home.  Lalita, come with me, I noticed that there were a couple of other shops I would like to look at today.  Please pay Arvindar so we can get out of here.

Lalita pulls out a billfold and then counts out the correct amount of rupees and hands them to the man.  He gleefully thumbs the bills before folding them and tucking them into a small sack at his waist.  Georgie herself moves to the door to spare one last glance at her purchases that are being taken down and laid out on the floor to be folded and packaged for shipping.  Lalita joins her and the pair of women leave the shop.  Walking along the hall of the government emporium, Georgie and Lalita giggle to themselves.

Georgie:  Cor, I haven’t used that voice in years.  Sad I know but there it is.  Ain’t me best innit?

Lalita responds but instead of a hindi spiced accent, South London tones are heard in the voice of Lalita.

Lalita:  It was brill Georgie.

Georgie:  Yeah it was brill.  I still can’t believe that you are here in Delhi Lalita.  When me Dad said that you was in India and that I should see you, I never suspected that you was looking after Robertson biz.

Lalita:  When your father offered me a job after me parents were killed, I grabbed it with both hands so I could stay in London.  Then my gran needed me here in Delhi soi I had to come.  But now she’s gone and well, there are no ties for me anywhere, I am spooked bout the future.  What am I going to do?

Georgie leans in, her arm sliding into the crook of Lalita’s arm.

Georgie:  You are going to come work for me Lal.  I have plans and they include me mate.  And with me wrestlin’ and whatnot, I am going to need someone to watch me interests outside the ring.  What do ya say?

Lalita narrows her eyes for a moment as she takes in the offer she had just been given.  With a smirk, Georgie teases her friend by batting her eyes and pouting cutely.  Lalita’s eye roll as she can’t help but laugh.

Lalita:  Of course Georgie, if’n you think that you can handle it.

Georgie:  Handle it…only problem is, can everyone else yeah?

The pair laugh as they disappear into a shop, Indian lettering on the sign indicating it is a jewelry shop.

Georgie Robertson makes her way out of the hotel lobby and into the street where she hails a tuk tuk.  One stops near her and she rushes to climb inside as from the other side a person slides into the tuk tuk.  Both persons indicate that they are wanting to go to the arena where Violent Conduct is being held.  Georgie looks to see Pussy Willow and growls at her.

Georgie:  Bloody ‘ell!  Get out of my soddin’ tuk tuk!

Before either can leave, the tuk tuk swings into traffic and begins to weave into traffic.  Pussy clutches up on the canopy of the vehicle as Georgie slides to slump against the padding of her seat and pouts as the driver rushes between other vehicles.  Beside him a motorcycle holding a family of four flashes by causing the driver to honk angrily.

Pussy Willow:  Listen…since we are stuck…

Georgie:  I don’t give a bloody wank that we are stuck.  I don’t want to even hear it yeah?  I can’t believe that I am a captive audience to a bloody interviewer from SCW.

Pussy Willow:  Since you are a captive, I have my cell and we can do an interview.  I can’t believe that I am the first to get an interview with you Georgie…I can call you Georgie, can’t I?

Georgie:  I would rather you didn’t.

Pussy is seen fiddling with her cell phone trying to get the perfect angle so didn’t catch the last comment from the Londoner.  Finally satisfied with the framing of the pair, Pussy begins to speak as Georgie turns away in an attempt to ignore the camera.  The driver of the tuk tuk sends Pussy careening into Georgie with a sharp turn around a roundabout.

Georgie:  Get off.  As if I have to suffer this bird.  Lor, give me strength.

Pussy pulls herself up and then frames them once more before she begins to speak.

Pussy Willow:  I am here, the first interviewer in SCW to talk with newcomer Georgie Robertson who has just joined SCW here in India and in her fourth ever match in Sin City Wrestling gets a chance at the Bombshell Roulette title in a triple threat match.  Georgie, say hi to the fans.

Pussy Willow waves into the camera and Georgie sighs and offers a glare.  Pussy continues speaking.

Pussy Willow:  Okay…Georgie, you are in a match at Violent Conduct against Ariana Angelos and Bombshell Roulette champion Melissa.  What are your thoughts?

Trapped, Georgie crosses her arms over her chest and with a sigh responds.

Georgie:  Well, what can I say.  I am thinkin’ that the two birds in the match with me are goin’ ta be plucked.

Pussy Willow:  Plucked…oooo I get it.  Good one!

Georgie:  Innit?  Anyhow, I am challengin’ for the Bombshell Roulette title.  I have no bloody idea what that means.  What is so special about a roulette title?

Pussy offers a shocked look for the camera which only has Georgie shaking her head at the blonde’s reaction.

Pussy Willow:  Special about a roulette title…it is a special match that you don’t know what kind of match you will have.  I mean it has every type of match on it…Taipei death match to lingerie to pillow fight.  There is no way to prepare and no way that you will know just how to win the match until the choice is made after spinning the wheel.

Georgie holds up her hands in surrender then she sits back as the driver is honking and weaving in traffic.  Pussy continues to try and film while the image is wildly swaying.  Georgie begins to talk but not look at the camera.

Georgie:  Fine, I get it.  I suppose now that you expect me to talk about my opponents now?  Ain’t that what’s I has to do?

Pussy Willow:  Well yeah.  It’s called a promo.

Georgie:  Did you just say porno?  Ya ain’t me type.

Pussy giggles and shakes her head.

Pussy Willow:   Oh em gee…I said promo.  P R O M O…promo.  It is where you talk about…

Georgie:  I gets what a promo is Puss.  Ya need to shut ya gob and let me get on it.  Lemme first speak about Ariana Angelos.  A punky little bird what thinks she is a bloody Xena warrior princess.  From what I have been told she has a few matches under her belts and she has friends that everyone seems to think they are training her to be a challenger for the title.  People says that she is mates with Jessie Salco and Krystal Wolfe.

Pussy Willow:  Both of which have worn the Bombshell Roulette title before.

Georgie growls at the interruption and sits quiet for the moment as she calms enough not to yell at Pussy or the camera.  Finally she continues to speak.

Georgie:  Given that she’s seems to be all mouth and no real challenge, I’m wondering just what it was that she has for being in this match.  I haven’t a scoobie meself.

Pussy Willow:  Scoobie?  You sound like Ben Jordan with all that way you are talking.

Georgie:  Please… that geezer’s from East London.  Now me…I’m from South London, there is a difference yeah.  But back to Ariana…seriously, she is nothing more than an opportunity to sharpen me skills in the ring with someone that is juss a punchin’ bag on wheels.  So, now that I have torn that bird down enough, let me speak about the champion herself.

Pussy is once more sent into the body of Georgie, her elbow catching the young Londoner in the midsection.  Georgie crumples slightly as she gasps for breath.  Pussy pulls herself back upright and turns to apologize to Georgie who only waves her away.

Pussy Willow:  Go ahead, you were about to talk about Melissa, the current champion.

Georgie:  Yeah…Melissa.  What can I say about her.  Big bad and dangerous?  Well if’n you ask me, not so dangerous if I’m honest.  I mean sure she is the champion and again that means that she deserves respect for what she has done.  Maybe I do have a teeny tiny bit of respect…

Georgie holds her thumb and index finger barely a half centimeter apart with a smirk which draws a gasp from Pussy.

Georgie:  Before ya go all barmy, hear me out.  I have to give her respect because she won a match for that belt.  But respect ends there because it wasn’t me that she faced for that title now was it?  I mean here I am, me fourth match in Sin City Wrestlin’ and I am being given a shot at that title she wears.  If I am honest, something is tellin’ me that she is only holding that title until I could step into SCW and get me own shot at the title.  And now I have it, the only thing that is going to happen is that I beat her and Ariana and take the title I deserve.

Pussy Willow:  But both of these women have more experience than you do.  How are you going to get over that?

Georgie:  I may not have the in ring experience Pussy but I gots something better than that.  I have my god given street smarts and talent for always coming out on top.  I may not have been a wrestler long but I am a fighter and if I am honest, one helluva scrapper as me grandad says.  So darling, I wouldn’t be putting your wonga on Ariana or Melissa…

Pussy mouths the word wonga with a confused look which only makes Georgie sigh.  The tuk tuk pulls up to the venue as Georgie translates.

Georgie:  Wonga…money yeah?  Don’t bet against me at the supercard because I am a fighter and I will tell ya right now…I don’t fight fair, I fight to win!

With that, Georgie pulls herself out of the tuk tuk leaving Pussy to pay as she walks away.  Pussy rushes to exit and follow, calling out as she does.

Pussy Willow:  We can finish up inside right?

Georgie turns and with a very fake grin, she shrugs and waves.

Georgie:  Wish I could but there’s a little thing called training what I have to do.  Ta ta!!

Georgie lets the smile disappear as she turns and rushes inside leaving Pussy on the entrance to the arena.
