Title: Bouncing back.

 Jessie’s been on something of a slump since Blaze of Glory having lost her two matches in the past two weeks including the most recent loss to the SCW Bombshell Roulette Champion Natalie McKinley in a Submissions Only match, whilst it could be argued that submissions aren’t exactly Jessie’s speciality she needed to bounce back and fast with the next Supercard and her title shot against Roxi Johnson fast approaching.

This week she had a chance to do just that as she was taking on former Mean Girls member Crystal Hilton, both Bombshells have been on the rise as of late and Jessie was hoping to turn around her recent shitty run of luck but can she do it?

When in Greece, visit the temples, yeah I know that’s not even close to how the saying goes but fuck it!

After a couple of weeks of just checking out the metal scenes of countries that SCW has visited on the World Tour we realized that there was one thing we did on the African Tour that we neglected to do on the World Tour is site-seeing!

Yes, we know we attempted to do that whilst we were still in Romania and that ended up being an epic fail, what’s the difference this time? Well we actually knew where we were going this time.

I know I should be talking more about my match against Crystal this week but what’s there for me to say that can’t be saved for a good line during the trash talking part? I’ve been in a slump since Blaze of Glory and I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that my regular partner and close friend is the reigning Bombshell Champ and that’s putting a lot of pressure on me or not.

Long story short, I’m bouncing back starting this week!

“Holy shit….” Jake murmured under his breath as we entered the ancient temple, the guards where keeping a close eye on us but we’re not here to vandalize the place, that’s something the Mean Girls would do, instead we’re here to site see and take as many pictures as we can before we decide to leave for lunch. “The photos don’t do it justice, do they?”

“I think the same can be said for most wonders of the ancient world.” Shane responded as he started taking some pictures. “The ones that are still standing at least.”

“And the ones that are actually confirmed to have existed, unlike the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.” I responded as I took a few more pictures, as I looked through the pics I took using my IPhone I noticed that I had a notification about Twitter. “Huh, Christian’s responded to one of my tweets.”

“You haven’t tweeted anything recently though.” Jake responded as he looked up. “Hell the most activity from the account has been between Steve and that Dark Defender guy.” Jake added and I groaned in response.

“Don’t remind me, I’d shut down the account and start my own one but only Steve can do that since he was the one who set it up.” I responded as I shook my head, I read the tweet and sighed in annoyance. “Oh son of a bitch.”

“What?” Shane asked as he looked up at me.

“Whilst we were climbing up the steps to get into the temple I tweeted that I would be the first SCW wrestler to do a promo from a Greek Temple.” I responded as I folded my arms. “Christian’s tweet was him basically saying that he had beaten me too it, in the same god damn temple as well.”

“Well, that sucks.” Jake responded as he folded his arms. “Do you want to go back down?”

“Are you kidding? I didn’t drag the out of shape cameracrew up those steps for nothing!” I responded before quickly turning to the cameracrew. “No offence.” I added before turning to the boys again. “So what if Christian did it first? It’s not like there’s such a thing as an original idea nowadays.”

“So you’re still going to do your promo up here?” Jake asked and I nodded with a grin.

“Does the music of Black Veil Brides suck as much dick as the Mean Girls do weekly?” I asked and the boys laughed in response. “I think that gives you your answer.”

“So do you want to do the trash talk now or wait until lunch time?” Shane asked and I checked the time on my IPhone.

“We were aiming to have lunch at 12:30 right?” I asked as I looked up from my phone.

“Well yeah but that wasn’t counting in how long it takes to go down the steps.” Jake responded as he checked his watch. “Besides, we’ve got plenty of other Greek temples to check out whilst we’re at it so we’re going to be pretty busy today.”

“So in other words, get the promo done now because you won’t have time otherwise?” I asked and the boys nodded in response before they returned to the pic taking, it wasn’t easy but I was able to find an isolated spot in the Parthenon where I could do my promo.

“Let’s face it, since Blaze of Glory IV my luck in SCW has been terrible! I could take the loss to the Mean Girls since Mercedes is the only truly talented member of that group but getting a submissions only match against Natalie McKinley? If I didn’t know any better I’d say that Mark has it out for me and since he decided to sit out most of the World Tour I highly doubt that’s the case! This week is the week that I’m bouncing back and Crystal Hilton may as well be my trampoline.”

I’m pretty sure that’s the first time the word “trampoline” has been used in a wrestling promo.

“What can I say about you Crystal? You’re a former Mean Girl and like me you’re on the rise in the Bombshell Division, however you don’t have my experience in the ring and given how driven and determined I am to advance my career here in SCW that only means bad things for you in our upcoming match!”

It’s that simple.

“What’s that? My track record against you hasn’t been that great? Well guess what? When I faced Twisted Sister at Blaze of Glory no one thought that I was going to win that match yet what happened at Blaze of Glory again? Oh that’s right, I beat Twisted Sister! I’ve been in a slump since then sure but this week I’m ending that slump by winning this match!”

I’m about to get metaphorical, you have been warned!

“Look around you Crystal, what do you see? You see a temple to the Greek Goddess Athena that was built in 46 BC and is still standing for the most part, I know it sounds lofty but ever since I started wrestling professionally that’s exactly what I wanted my career to be remembered as, as something that’ll be remembered for years to come, has it had its fair share of ups and downs? Yeah but who’s career hasn’t? Especially recently! This Monday I’m ending my bad luck streak by beating you!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up.

“The Greeks may have been conquered by the Romans but my desire to succeed won’t be conquered by anyone! Especially not Crystal Hilton! I may be down at the moment but this week I’m bouncing back from my losing streak and I’m using you to do just that Crystal! This is SCW’s Heavy Metal Bombshell signing off, see you in the ring Crystal.”

I walked off to join the boys as the scene fades.
