Lucian Frost has been on a quest recently, to rise up the rankings with the SCW, to seize upon the moment to become challenger to the SCW heavyweight Championship. Although his quest seems futile in the eyes of most, one of the most smallest guys in the SCW trying to be the proverbial ‘man’, Lucian Frost wants to put the doubters wrong and look to stand amongst the elite of the SCW and become the new Champion of the promotion.
It seemed like an eternity since Into the Void had ended, new champions crowned and egos deflated, Lucian Frost didn’t expect to leave the event with a victory under his belt but he did the unthinkable and become victorious against Casey Williams. He has now got the impressive record of being undefeated at Blaze of Glory and Into the Void events. Standing in the dimly light office of Carlos Duquesne nightclub, arms crossed and the reflection of his skulled masked appear on the mirrored glass, gazing down at the party people as they drink and dance the night away. Lucian shakes his head slowly as he turns to face the camera, his arms still crossed, no emotion can be seen thanks to his iconic skull mask and all-in-one body suit as he stands there and begins to talk with confidence.
”I appeared at Atlantic Championship Wrestling’s recent recording of their wrestling show last week, unorthodox to appear on a non-SCW show but the need to show my intention was a must, to show the current SCW Heavyweight Champion and my opponent this week my intent on becoming champion. Simon Jones has had the most incredible journey to his career here, winning the open invitation battle royal and then capturing the major prize here, probably the quickest rising champion within this promotion! Jericho Hill is the next man standing in my way as I rise the rankings here, after I defeated the Giant ‘Freight Train of Pain’ Casey Williams at Into the Void, someone who would want a career defining moment by defeating me at Climax Control. I know the defeat to Drake Green wouldn’t have sat well with you, wanting to win and show the entire promotion what Jericho Hill is all about, but you were halted by the ACW Martitime Junior Heavyweight Champion and left with a bitter taste in your mouth!”
Lucian unfolds his arms and rests the palm of his hands against the window behind him as he continues to speak his mind.
“It isn’t often that I get to stand in the ring with a ‘god’ of sorts, the man from the unknown facing the man from Valhalla, I have Carlos Duquesne keeping an eye on me whilst I’m guessing the Ruler of Valhalla, Odin, will be watching how your circumstances within the promotion goes at Climax Control. I know my journey to become a contender for the championship is going to be a rocky one, with many hurdles and obstacles in the way, it’s about the way I come through and overcome them. Kain, my partner is a phenomenal talent as we have all seen as he captured the Roulette Championship, he didn’t have the most enjoyable path to the Heavyweight Championship matches but he endured the path and although unsuccessful he managed to create his legacy within the promotion. I have a history within this promotion… Inaugural Roulette Champion, second longest reigning Tag Team Champions, undefeated at the two biggest events in the SCW calendar… I want to become the first man in the history of this promotion to hold the SCW Heavyweight Wrestling Strap to my name, creating my own legacy and destiny and that journey has already begun!”
“Jericho Hill, I know I’m not expected to beat you like I wasn’t expected to beat Casey Williams and a majority of my opponents, but what you will get is a challenge and a match you may or choose not to remember. I may go on about how I want to be the new champion, how I want to be the first Grand Slam Winner, and yes you’re right most people hark on about it but it is one thing to say it and another thing to do it. I don’t believe what our current champion has done, waltzed in and in two matches is our promotions champion, someone like me who has been in this company for well over a year, accomplishing the stuff I have and not once been considered for the heavyweight championship, well I want to change that and if I have to make waves, bore people with saying the same thing over again then I will in order to put my name in the mouths of others! Make people realise that the masked enigma isn’t as mysterious as most think, with my intention clear as day and my journey mapped for all to see as it ends with Simon Jones, it ends with me battling for the heavyweight championship!”
“I amongst most know the importance of victory, I amongst most know the importance of creating a legacy, I amongst most will be looking to continue my goal this Sunday at Climax Control when I face and look to defeat you, Jericho Hill, my time for glory is now and I look to seize upon this day with my heart on my sleeve!”
Lucian knows it is going to be an uphill battle as he turns back to look upon the nightclub, feeling the vibrations of the music going through his body, his challenge has been set and it’s his time to shine at Climax Control
