Logan Hunter and his girlfriend Brooke Shields were the newest members of the SCW Roster as wrestler and manager respectively and it didn’t take them long to make an immediate impact, putting former Internet and Roulette Champion Caleb Storms on the shelf and, thanks to Brooke, injuring LJ Kasey’s knee ahead of his match against Kris Ryans, and all this was accomplished BEFORE Logan made his in ring debut!
But the Australian Go Gym Graduate wouldn’t have to wait long for his debut match to get booked as he was taking on Justin Smith in this week’s opening match! Justin was coming off two back to back losses, in the men’s High Stakes Rumble at, well, High Stakes and in last week’s opener against Connor Murphy! Can Logan get the win in his wrestling debut and what role will Brooke play, if any?

Go out there and make an impact.
That was the advice that myself and Brooke were given upon our graduation from the Go Gym the week before the first card of the Inception VI Cycle was announced, we don’t have the familial connections of Cassie Wolfe, LJ Kasey or Harper Mason, we don’t have wrestling in our backgrounds either, my SCW debut will literally be my first ever match, but things hit a snag when my name was absent from this week’s card.
So me and Brooke talked, the idea of my first appearance for the promotion being my debut match was out the window, so the idea came about that we should attack someone at the show at random.
Yes, at random, Caleb wasn’t our first choice, we had a few other names in mind, but when he came out with his wife and that failure of a Go Gym Graduate? Why yes, we knew we had our target, it was just a matter of execution, the fact that LJ Kasey decided to stick his nose in our business is another matter entirely.
”It’s just as you said Brooke.” I scoffed as I started to put my motorcycle helmet on and Brooke was doing the same, her crimson red motorcycle ready to take us back to the hotel for the night. ”We picked our target, and now we’re the talk of the town.”
”And those idiots didn’t even know what hit them.” Brooke responded with a massive grin on her face not realizing that someone was storming up to where Brooke had parked her motorcycle. ”It’s like I said on Twitter, I love it when a plan comes together!”
“You know what I don’t love?!” We looked up and saw Christian approaching us with an angry look on his face. “Two of Gabriel’s brats putting a former champion on the injured list and then injuring a rising star’s knee!”
”Oh give us a break grandpa!” Brooke responded as she rolled her eyes and turned to face the co-owner. ”I know you’re a former wrestler and I know you understand the need for an explosive debut!”
“Grandpa?! I know you’re not old enough to drink yet Brooke but I’m still your boss!” Christian responded as he pointed a finger at her. “And you know the rules, whether it’s a manager or an activate talent no one is allowed to attack a member of the opposite sex at Climax Control! So congratulations on becoming the fastest woman to ever get fined in Sin City Wrestling! And I bet that motorbike of yours will cover it.”
”Leave my Hell Hound out of this.” Brooke responded as she rolled her eyes before getting a cheque book out. ”So what’s the fine? $10,000? $20.000? my parents left me with a sweet trust fund for when I turned eighteen and you know my age is listed as nineteen on the contract I signed so money is no object to me or Logan.”
“You keep that up and you’ll chew through that trust fund by the end of February!” Christian responded before turning his attention to me. “And you?! Putting a former champion of mine on the shelf? That’s how you make your debut?!”
”Don’t insult my intelligence! Caleb’s only role over the past twelve months was to show up and waste everyone’s time! We did SCW a favour!” I scoffed as I stepped up to Christian. ”As for LJ? That idiot never should’ve gotten involved in the first place! If he was wrestling anyone other than the poster boy for washed up has been I would’ve been impressed that he got the win!” I added as I made my way over to Brooke’s motorbike. ”Now unless you have news for us? We are going to take our leave!”
“Funny you should say that, because that was the other thing I wanted to talk to you two about.” Christian added and we turned to him. “You’ve got Justin Smith in this week’s opener.”
”What? Was Bill too busy?” I scoffed and Brooke had a good laugh at that too. ”That man’s a god damn joke and you know it!”
“Joke or not, he is your first opponent!” Christian added as he started to walk off. “And to Daddy’s Spoiled Little Rich Girl? Don’t even think of getting involved!”
”Like Logan will need my help to defeat someone as pathetic as that.” Brooke scoffed as she put her helmet on. ”And don’t worry, that little fine of yours will be paid well before we arrive in Long Beach next Sunday, till then? Tell Alexandra that her man needs to grow eyes in the back of his head!” Brooke added before I got on the back of her motorcycle and we rode off.

To get noticed in wrestling can be a double edged sword.
Since we returned to the Go Gym following our debut last night we’ve gotten a few looks from the trainees, not the kind of looks Brooke usually gets from the make trainees mind you but that’s the price you pay for wanting to make a statement.
At that point we were watching the trainees train when Kelly came up to us.
“Err, hey guys, Gabriel said he wanted a chat with you two in his office.” The Irish trainee commented as she motioned to the office. “And I wouldn’t keep him waiting.”
”What’s the matter Kel? You been reduced to Gabriel’s messenger girl now that Krystal’s no longer around?” Brooke teased her and Kelly rolled her eyes. ”Besides, we’ll go when we’re ready.”
“When I said, “I wouldn’t keep him waiting” I meant it, he’s instructed the trainers to not let either of you into one of the training rings until you speak with him.” Kelly added and we shared an annoyed look. “Look, I’m just the messenger here okay?”
”Fine, let’s get this over with.” I commented as I shook my head and we headed straight to the office where Gabriel waited for us. ”Gabriel.”
”Close the door behind you Brooke.” Gabriel instructed her and Brooke complied. ”I advised you two to go out there and make an impact upon your debuts, but targeting Caleb, Katie and Adrienne, two former Go Gym Graduates I might add, in that manner?”
”I think you’re forgetting a big thing here Gabriel, like how pretty much no one remembers the fact that Katie graduated from here and that Adrienne is one of the biggest flops in the Go Gym’s history.” Brooke responded as she rolled her eyes and Gabriel frowned as he addressed her. ”And I didn’t think you cared enough about Caleb to get upset over what we did to him.”
”Regardless of how I feel about Caleb, you still put a fellow wrestler on the shelf indefinitely om your first nights as wrestlers.” Gabriel responded pointedly before he leaned forward on the desk. ”Now why don’t you tell me the real reason you targeted Caleb?”
”What are you talking about?” I demanded as I folded my arms. ”Caleb was a random target! We would’ve gone after anyone to make that statement.”
”Perhaps, but did you honestly think we’d miss the rants you and Brooke had when I didn’t give you pass to take part in either of the High Stakes Rumbles?” Gabriel asked as his eyes narrowed and we shared a look. ”You thought you were safe to vent in the parking lot after I made that decision? You’ve been at the Go Gym for over a year, you should both know that I have eyes and ears everywhere by now.”
”That wasn’t fair and you know it! You promised us that we’d graduate in time for the rumble matches!” Brooke countered as she stepped forward. ”Instead you pushed back our graduation date until the week after High Stakes!”
”I know you’re used to getting your own way Brooke, but I made it clear to you both that I needed to be satisfied with your progress before I signed off on your graduations.” Gabriel countered as he met her gaze. ”And I wasn’t, I consulted with the other trainers, we agreed that you needed another week of training before you were ready to make your debuts.”
”Enough! Those matches are in the past! Shouldn’t we talk about my actual debut match?” I interjected and Brooke and Gabriel turned to me. ”Against the walking punchline of the male division known as Justin Smith?”
”I have seen the card and I will say that the bosses were generous to give you such an easy opponent for your first match.” Gabriel nodded as Brooke stepped back. ”But don’t get cocky, Justin was a Quarter Finalist in this year’s Blast from the Past and has been in title contention before.”
”You mean when he was carried to the Quarter Finals by Cordelia Clark? Besides, Felix fucking Hernandez got a title shot last week, if that’s not proof that the bosses give out random title shots like participation trophies nothing is!” Brooke countered as she folded her arms and Gabriel raised an eyebrow. ”For god’s sake! The Troll is in the men’s Triple Crown Challenge with Murphy and Barnhart, does anyone really think that Murphy isn’t going to win that match?!”
”Perhaps, but maybe you should worry about the situation with LJ Kasey and especially Alexandra Callaway.” Gabriel responded as he looked directly at Brooke. ”Which reminds me, have you got the fine for your attack on LJ yet Brooke?”
”Waiting for it to come through.” Brooke responded as she rolled her eyes. ”I already have the money set aside to pay it.”
”Good, and Logan? Regardless of your actions at last night’s show and what others may think of you, you and Brooke are still the most recent graduates from the Go Gym.” Gabriel stated as he looked towards me. ”Don’t let us down.”
”Off course.” I responded before me and Brooke left the office at his beckoning to do so.

*promo time*
As I got ready to cut my first promo as an SCW Wrestler Brooke stood at my side ready to help out.
”Sin City Wrestling, do I have your attention now?” I asked as I sat down on a rock and Brooke stood next to me. ”Caleb was a fool but he was the first, myself and Brooke will be running roughshod over this company for as long as we are in it and that officially starts this Sunday night when I take on Justin Smith in this week’s opening match.”
Brooke scoffs as she steps forward.
”Justin Smith, really? He’s the best they could give my man after everything he did last night? Please, he expanded more energy when we were celebrating in our hotel room after the show than he’ll expand when wrestling Justin.” Brooke commented with a playful wink as she walked around the camera. ”Off course, the question on everyone’s minds is whether Logan can get things done on his own, puh-lease! If there’s any input for me to put into Logan’s strategy, it’s whether or not he should extend Justin’s suffering for my amusement!”
”Which is a very intriguing idea indeed.” I stated as leaned forward on the rock. ”You are nothing to us Justin! You are just a martyr that they have sent to his doom, nothing more, nothing less! And when I do beat you on Sunday I hope LJ and Alexandra are watching closely because that will just be a taste of what’s to come for them and anyone else who gets in our way.”
Brooke smirks again before kissing me on the cheek.
”Oh no, we haven’t forgotten about you LJ and Brooke in particular hasn’t forgotten about Alexandra.” I added as I folded my arms. ”You will both be dealt with in due time! I can promise you that, but until that time comes? Consider what I do to Justin on Sunday as a preview for what’s to come, because when I talked of weeding out the week? He was one such person I had in mind.”
It's that simple.
”When I said, “welcome to the new era” on last night’s Climax Control I meant it and this Sunday I’ll use Justin as an example of what’s in store for anyone foolish enough to get in the ring with me on Sunday.” I stated as I stood up and walked to the camera. ”This isn’t hyperbole or anything of the sort Justin, I will make you suffer for the transgression of getting in the ring with me on Sunday night and beyond that? Well, I hope for their sake that LJ and Alexandra take our warnings to heart.”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
”Just remember that when you’re lying in a hospital bed after the fact? You could’ve avoided this by backing out Justin, but no, you had to get in the ring with me.” I scoffed as I folded my arms. ”And for that? You shall embrace oblivion!”
I turned off the camera as the scene fades.
