Title: Do you see me now?
Post by: Victoria Lyons on October 18, 2024, 11:17:35 PM
We’re greeted with a closeup of the smiling face of Victoria Lyons. Smiling like she’s on top of the world, and why wouldn’t she be after becoming a dual champion and defeating the supposed unstoppable team of Finn Whelan and Kayla Richards.  It was really a simple matter if you asked Victoria. To stop a pack of wolves from running rampant, you need a pride of lions.

Eddie had done well for himself too. Under her guidance of course. The footage had been lost that would have given Victorias thoughts on Kayla, which were basically letting her know that she has no desire to be Kayla like the Women's World Champ implied a few weeks ago, because being a queen is far better and so on and so forth. But she would commend her for nailing exactly why Victoria chose her as the poison to infect  Bella Madison, because why wouldn’t she choose Kayla, it really was the smartest decision and the queen is no fool.

The whole team building bit had been lost too. When she was forced to guide a blindfolded Eddie through an obstacle course. She tried to mess with him a little but, but that damn thug Cleo Phillips was there, and Victoria was worried she might get shanked or something.

After lingering on her for a moment, the camera pulls back to show her not only still in her crown, but now with a championship shining on each shoulder. She looks at the Bombshell Roulette Championship on her left, and then the Mixed Tag Championship on her right.

“You know, I’d be really pissed off right now if I was Luna Pasilino.” Victoria began, “I mean, if my memory serves me correct, she earned herself a chance to take Rue from me, but since this company fears dangerous women, they decided Mercedes Vargas deserves a chance before her? And for what? Defeating Bobbie Dahl and Prudence Pierce?  When did we decide we were naming two number one contenders to MY championship that night?"

She scoffs, a look of disgust forming on her face.

“Luna is the ONLY woman in this company who deserves the chance.” she said, “At least she actually earned it in a REAL number one contenders match, and at least she can have the honor of saying she got one over on the queen. However when we do meet again Luna, I hope you don’t expect lighting to strike twice.”

She smirks arrogantly into the camera, taking a moment to adjust her crown.

“So Mercedes, still trying to grasp onto your old glory?” Victoria continued, “Still not willing to admit your time is over? Was the princess cruise not enough? I mean you were the first one eliminated, and you really think you have a chance at beating me one on one? What is it with you dumb bitches? Why do you not realize the greatness that is here before you? Did you not see what happened to Bella Madison? Now you want to worm your way into an unearned opportunity? It seems Alexandra Calaway is the smartest among you three from that night on the cruise, because she moved on, waiting until she EARNS her opportunity again.”

She looks back and forth again at her championships with a smile.

“The roll I’m on now Mercedes? You’re not ready for this.” She continued, “I have all the momentum in  the world. I just defeated the women’s world champion and the only thing holding me back from taking that from Kayla is the ridiculous rules that I can’t challenger her until someone manages to take Rue from me, and since I have no intention of letting Rue go anywhere it’ll be a LONG time before I get that chance at Kayla Richards.”

She scowls at the idea, because she wants to win everything, she’d go after Julianna too if the company would let her, but even a queen can’t get by all the pesky rules.

“Maybe you want your career to end.” Victoria grinned devilishly, “Is that it? You want me to finally put an end to Mercedes Vargas for good? Because I can do that, be rather fun really. Like taking a dog out back and putting the ol’ girl down. I can make you disappear faster than a Spirit of  Halloween store on November first.”

She laughs, clearly amused with herself.

“I guess Mark and Christian just want to give me a warmup before Luna.” Victoria continued, “So they manufactured some sort of excuse to make it seem like you somehow earned this. But everyone knows the truth. You didn’t. Now you’ve got yourself in a situation you can’t get out of. I don’t care how many championships you once held. I’m what’s happening now. I am the fastest rising Bombshell in SCW history. Has there been anybody who has had as much success as me from the moment they debuted? It has to be a very small list if there is one.”

She exhales with a smile, an aura of pride surrounding her.

“I’ve defeated everyone there is to beat in this company.” Victoria continued, “Kayla Richards, Alexandra Calaway, Bella Madison to name a few, and soon I’ll get my win back from Luna as well. Like it or not I AM the woman to beat in this company now. You can hate all you want, but you can’t deny me anymore. Vicky Two Belts is very real, and you’re going to have to deal with her for the unforeseeable future.”

She holds both titles out on each side of her, basking in her own glory.

“Imagine what I’ll have accomplished by the time I have the years you do in this business Mercedes.” Victoria said proudly, “I just might even accomplish more than you ever did. I mean if the shoe fits right?”

She grins and winks at the camera.

“At this point, this is a huge opportunity for YOU.” Victoria grinned, “You get to take your shot at the queen. You get to try and do what very few have done and actually beat me.  You can hold out for a miracle that somehow you pull off the impossible. I assure you Mercedes, you will only beat me in your dreams. When you wake up, you’ll find yourself in a nightmare that you can’t escape from. I don’t play nice Mercedes, everybody hates me around here anyway so why not do whatever the hell I want? What’s gonna happen? I piss someone off? By now you should know I don’t care two squirts of piss about that. I enjoy it really, pissing people off. Especially when they’re unable to do a damn thing about it. I am the greatest Bombshell in the company right now, and my two championships prove it. My meteoric rise proves it. I came, I saw, I conquered. Who dares to deny me now? I am greatness personified. I am a living legend, and like it or not I am the dual Bombshell Roulette and Mixed Tag Champion. If you still try to deny me, your either stupid or…..well no you’re just stupid.”

She giggles to herself, amused.

“You’re only real hope is to just survive.” she said, “Or at least have a better showing than you did on The Princess Cruise. I’ll try not to embarass you too much, but I make no promises. I have an image to maintain. I have two shiny gold championships now, I have to go out there and be the dominant champion I am and continue to show everyone WHY I hold these belts on my shoulder. Why its the era of Vicky Two Belts, and why I am and always will be your one true queen. It’s simple really. I’m just better than everyone else.”

She smiles with arrogantly, but confidently into the camera, holding both her championships proudly, looking at them like a mother lioness and her cubs. She really was on top of the world right now, and to her credit it didn’t seem like there was very many that had a chance at stopping her.

Coach Kaiser looked at both of his students proudly. Ever since he took over as head trainer some seven or so years ago, he just wanted his students to be more successful than he ever was, and he felt like he had accomplished that.  Their attitudes weren’t always the best but their success was undeniable, and Coach Kaiser had done plenty of less than savory things in his career, so he really felt like he was in no position to judge their actions.

“What did I tell you?” he said, “I knew you both could do it, I knew you could beat Finn and Kayla and bring those championships home to The Lyons Den. Now if you want to remain champions, you need to work on your teamwork. I’m working on some more team building exercises like last time.”

“Do we really still need to do those?” Victoria complained, “We’re already the champions. We showed you we can do it, we brought home the mixed tag championships!.”

“Sure, but like I said now you need to KEEP them.” Coach Kaiser reminded her, “Which means to continue to work on your teamwork. The Lyons Den as a whole is on a hot streak right now, our talent is making waves in both SCW and PWS and I want to keep it that way. Wolfslair and Jet City like to showcase their talent all over SCW, but I think the three of us can agree that The Lyons Den has the most consistent talent across the board. Only one of our active talents doesn’t hold a championship, and if I know your cousin Alexander he’s going to want to change that as soon as possible.”

“You know I just want to do this the right way.” said Eddie, “I don’t want to be involved in taking any shortcuts, or anything underhanded.”

“There you go again.” Victoria said rolling her eyes, “Do you have to be so damn self righteous and condescending?”

“I’m just saying…” Eddie began

“”No.” interrupted Victoria, “I don’t want to hear it. You act like your so superior because you do things the right way, and fight with honor. You may not see it, but you have a superiority complex of your own, you think your honor makes you better than everyone.”

“That isn’t true at all.” said Eddie.

“But it is.” Victoria continued, “You have a self righteous attitude. You think you can tell others how to behave. Maybe it’s you who needs to look at yourself, cause right now only one of us has two championships.”

“And if you remember, I pinned the world champion.” said Eddie, “I won the match for us.”

“I thought we were a team.” Victoria said, “Did we not win together?”

“Okay!” said Coach Kaiser “That’s enough. Clearly you two still need to work things out. I’ll figure out an an exercise and get back to you both. This week, our concern is just Victoria, and her defeating Mercedes Vargas.”

“Then it sounds like I’m not needed.” said Eddie with an annoyed tone, “Besides I got to meet Sabrina, let me know about the team building whatever.”

Before he could be stopped, he was out the door as Coach Kaiser sighed.

“What’s his problem?” Victoria smirked.

“Why are you like this?” Coach Kaiser asked her, “Why do you have to be so conniving?”

“Me?” said Victoria, “He’s the one pushing his beliefs. Who is he to tell me how to behave? I’m the dual champion between us, not him.”

“You know damn well what you’re doing.” said Coach Kaiser, “Don’t bullshit a bullshitter. I know he can get overbearing, annoying even about the whole fighting with honor thing. But it’s what makes Eddie, Eddie. Just like your vicious nature makes Victoria, Victoria.”

Victoria sighed, and slumped back in her chair.

“Why couldn’t it be Vincent?” she said, “Why did he have to leave. It was supposed to be us. The Lyons TWINS.”

“Vincent made his decision.” said Coach Kaiser, “I’m just as worried about him too. When I took over as head trainer, he was my first student. Then you, and now I have four of you to manage, and it’s not getting easier. I do hope your brother is alright though.”

“I just want him to see how successful I’ve been in SCW.” Victoria sighed.

“I know.” said Coach Kaiser “He would be proud of you. But he wouldn’t want you to worry about him, he would want you to keep going. I’m sure he’ll be back someday…when the time is right. But until then you need to make this work with Eddie.”

Victoria frowned. She didn’t like it but Coach was right. All she could do was keep pushing forward. She was going to have to figure this out, because Eddie wasn’t going to listen to her. She was going to have to prove her dominance and why she should be team leader. She was going to have to make an example out of Mercedes Vargas.

“You know.” she grinned devilishly, “I got it all under control.”

She smirked again, as Coach Kaiser raised a curious eyebrow, as he watched her exit the room. Hopefully he could find a way to get them on common ground, because he sure didn’t want his students reign to be a short one.
