Climax Control 300 was finally here and with it came several special attraction matches! One such match was a Bombshell Tag Team Match between two teams with a lot of history between them as Jessie Salco and Amy Santno of the Metal and Punk Connection teamed up to take on Team Hero, Roxi Johnson and Keira Fisher, in a match for the ages! The match was about nothing but respect between the two teams, but Jessie was looking to pick up the win, can she and Amy get the job done?

It’s been a hell of a run!
And by that, I mean with the Metal and Punk Connection because, as Amy’s semi-retired and all, that team is more or less dead after this last tag team match, even if SCW decided to split up the tag team divisions again Amy has made it clear to me that she wants to focus on raising a family and whilst I could reform the team with Caleb, I haven’t had the same success with him as I have with Amy.
In other words, this is likely the last time that the Metal and Punk Connection name is going to appear on an SCW show.
Personally, I don’t mind, I’ve been focussing on my single’s career for a while now and it was only after Keira laid out the challenge at Blaze of Glory that I started thinking of my old team again, and well, you know the rest.
Coincidentally, I’ll be surprised if the Metal and Punk Connection’s original team doesn’t get a Hall of Fame induction after all’s said and done but as always, that’s up to the bosses and there’s still a few months left in the year before they even start talking about Hall of Fame inductions.
And before all that is Climax Control 300, and after that Into the Void X, though to be honest I’ve been focussing so much on this Tag Team Match that I haven’t even thought about what I’ll be doing at Into the Void X!
“We’re almost there, Jess.” Amy commented as we sat down opposite each other in catering though considering that I was the only one still active between us I had opted to sit down opposite the TV showing the in-ring action and at the moment, it was showing the match between Krystal Wolfe and Mercedes Vargas. “One last show before we officially put this team to rest, it’s been a hell of a ride between us.”
“Tell me about it.” I nodded in agreement before taking a sip from my drink. “After Venom and Vice fell apart and Back Jones left, I thought that was it when it came to me and tag team wrestling, then we started teaming up and I was left with one question, why didn’t I think of that tag team sooner?”
“Besides the fact that we were enemies for a time, obviously.” Amy nodded in agreement and I had to admit, that was so long ago that I had almost forgot that part of the team’s history. “Then again, I was in a similar situation, my team with Necra Octavian Kaine had a lot of success but after she left, I was left with not much to do until we started teaming.”
“I think for me, the most surprising part is the fact that the Metal and Punk Connection has been active in 2012, for some reason, I always thought we formed that team a lot sooner.” I admitted with a shrug before we heard the bell ring and looked up seeing that Krystal had picked up the win over Mercedes. “Seems Krystal has finally found her footing in SCW, she might win the Bombshell Roulette Championship at the rate she’s going.”
“Wouldn’t surprise me, I’m half expecting Gabriel and Odette to rename the Go Gym “Champion Making Machine” or something similar.” Amy nodded in agreement as we watched Krystal celebrate her win and Mercedes argue with the ref over the outcome. “Mercedes might have done it all in SCW, but the old Mean Girls habits die hard I guess.”
“Yeah, I guess.” I nodded in agreement as I watched it cut to the next segment. “We’re getting older, and the newer Bombshells seem to get younger and younger.”
“Isn’t Krystal a couple of years older than you were when you signed with SCW?” Amy asked with a raised eyebrow and I shook my head.
“She is, her SCW bio lists her age as twenty five though she apparently moved to America and joined the Go Gym when she was still a teenager.” I explained and Amy nodded as she got the idea. “What I’m getting at is, I’m starting to wonder how much longer I have as an active wrestler.”
“You started training at eighteen, right?” Amy asked and I nodded in agreement. “You have been wrestling for a long time Jess.”
“I practically grew up in Sin City Wrestling.” I scoffed in response before finishing my drink. “Even got married as a member of the roster, there’s only been one obstacle in my path of getting pregnant and that’s the World Bombshell Championship.”
“I’m confused.” Amy admitted and I let out a sigh.
“When I started dating Shane, I told myself that if the relationship ever got serious enough that he wanted to marry me, that I’d wait until there was nothing left for me to accomplish in SCW before I started making babies.” I explained and Amy nodded as she got the idea. “When I got married in 2015, I sort of reconfirmed those goals in my mind and after I won the Bombshell Internet Championship from Mercedes, I felt that it was only a matter of time until I won the big one.” I let out a sigh as I ran a hand through my hair. “You know the rest.”
“Yeah, you let your greed blind you to the point where it got you a title shot ban for most of 2018 before finally ending in 2019.” Amy nodded as she thought back to that time period, god that was a load of bullshit. “Though I think it can be argued that the sin of Sloth possessing you played a part.”
“God that was a weird couple of months, between the feud with Maki and everything Sin related!” I grumbled as ran both hands through my hair. “Yet in a strange way, it led to this tag team match and me rebuilding that bridge with Keira!”
“Let’s face it, we’re in a weird business.” Amy pointed out and I couldn’t help but agree, it was then that Amy got an idea. “This is just hypothetical, but what would you say to us opening our own wrestling school?”
“What? Like the Go Gym and Jet City?” I asked and Amy nodded in response. “I’m not even sure if I’d be that good a trainer but money wouldn’t be a problem, I’ve always been good at saving up my money,”
“Never know until you try Jess, it’s just an idea at the end of the day anyway.” Amy responded with a shrug and I nodded. “I do have experience in running a business, though I will admit that running a porn company is vastly different to running a wrestling school.”
“Yeah, unless something’s drastically changed since I trained to become a wrestler, there isn’t much crossover between the two.” I responded with a laugh which Amy shared. “Even with that in mind, we’re better off waiting until the pandemic fucks off, not much call for a new wrestling school when the whole world’s come to a screeching halt and we’d need a catchy name to go with it.”
“Gives us plenty of time to brainstorm ideas at least.” Amy nodded in agreement before we watched the Roulette Title Match between Alex Jones and Bill Barnhart.

*promo time*
Today’s promo is brought to you by the new album by underrated Danish Thrash Metal Band Artillery, aptly named X, the reason why will soon become clear.
“July 23rd, 2012, the Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu, California hosted an episode of Climax Control, in the grand scheme of things? Not that important, aside from the build up to SCW’s first ever Summer XXXTreme but for me? That was where it all started, that was when I made my SCW debut in a losing effort against two Bombshells who wouldn’t even last a year in SCW, that was the 23rd episode of Climax Control and now, almost nine years later at Climax Control 300, a lot has changed!”
You can say that again.
“I’m not going to give you a detailed, hit by hit rundown of my SCW career since that faithful day because otherwise, I’d be here until Climax Control 400! But in that time I’ve forged a hell of a career and one of the main highlights was my tag team with Amy Marshall, known these days as Amy Santino, because as the Metal and Punk Connection we tore down the house night after night, as a team and as opponents, so it is with a heavy heart that this Sunday, we’re laying the team to rest, Amy’s in semi-retirement and I want to focus on my single’s career but we’re giving the team one hell of a send-off against Team Hero!”
It’s been a hell of a run.
“Team Hero, Roxi and Keira, two women who have been the best of friends and enemies in equal measure and two women who, like me and Amy, have practically done it all in SCW and then some! There was a time when we were enemies, but certain circumstances have changed that for the better and I now count Roxi and especially Keira among my best friends in wrestling, some have even called me Keira’s Vegeta to her Goku, which does make me wonder where that leaves Roxi and Amy!”
Let’s not get into that.
“I don’t talk about this a lot because I don’t like to let my personal life interfere with my professional life as a wrestler but the main reason, I became a wrestler all those years ago, was because I refused to ever be a victim again! I’m not going into details about that, you can find out that stuff on my SCW profile, but I think it’s safe to say that through battles with Roxi, Keira and even Amy, I’ve done all that and more! There is still a lot I have yet to accomplish in SCW so I’m not hanging up the boots yet, but I guess you could see this as the start of my swan song, real question is, how long will that swan song be?”
And now for my opponents!
“Keira, when me and Amy made the challenge official at the beginning of the cycle, I knew at the back of my mind that I’d be starting with you because in a way, this whole saga started with the Sin attack back in October and besides that, you’re the one I’ve had the most volatile relationship with out of Team Hero, we’ve both said some terrible things about each other over the years, stuff that would usually make burying the hatchet outside of wrestling impossible but I guess that’s the nature of this crazy sport, isn’t it?”
It was either this or form a metal band, not sure what would’ve been crazier in hindsight.
“Keira, despite all the terrible things I’ve said, you’ve been one of my best opponents since you arrived in SCW and I know the feelings’ mutual! And considering that next year will mark my tenth year in SCW, that’s saying a lot! But more importantly, I know we’ll tear down the house in this tag team match and in the end, only the best tag team will be left standing, hopefully this will be the occasion where Metal and Punk Connection finally pick up the win?”
Next up is her wife.
“Don’t think I’ve forgotten you Roxi! How could I? I served as your first ever opponent in SCW and you served as my first opponent in a World Bombshell Championship Match in the first, and last, Sunday Night Seduction episode of Climax Control way back on the 28th of July 2013, we go back a long way Roxi, and we’ve had some real battles over the years, but this Sunday will easily be the biggest battle of them all!”
It’ll be one to remember.
“Here’s the thing though, you’ve won every time we’ve faced off in the ring Roxi! The same can be said for Keira really but since I’ve been fighting you for longer, this is more directed towards you and despite all the terrible things I’ve said about Keira, you’ve always tried to see the best in me, funny how it took Keira for the best of me to finally come out huh? This Sunday you are getting nothing but my best and I refuse to lay the Metal and Punk Connection to rest without a fight!”
It’s that simple.
“This isn’t about titles, feuds or anything along those lines, no, this is about respect between two of the Bombshell Tag Division’s best tag teams in Team Hero and the Metal and Punk Connection and if we’re going strictly by records, Team Hero are the clear winners but me and Amy have a lot to prove in that ring and this Sunday, we’re settling this matter once and for all because whilst Team Hero have won most of the battles, the Metal and Punk Connection will win the final war!”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
“It’s been a crazy ride! Nearly a decade in SCW and some of the best fights I’ve had here with Amy in the Metal and Punk Connection against Team Hero, well this Sunday will be the last time the Metal and Punk Connection teams up and me and Amy plan on ending this legendary team with a win! And if we have a Match of the Year Candidate with Team Hero along the way? All the better, this is “The Unsainted Angel” Jessie Salco signing off on the last ever promo for the Metal and Punk Connection, Keira and Roxi are two of the best wrestlers to ever grace an SCW ring but this Sunday me and Amy will be out to prove why we are two time tag team champions!”
I went to start training for the match as the scene fades.
