~Tick-Tock~ ~Tick-Tock~
I look over to the clock on the wall in a small office. The small hand at the 3 and the big hand between the 6 and 7.
"Its already 6:35? C'mon I got things to do!"
I say with my fingertips tapping the wood desk as a sign of my ADHD. All of the sudden the wooden door opposite of the room swings open and a woman in a polo with the words "SCW" stitched on the front walks out. She sits across the table from me.
"Alright Mr.Newmann, Sign by the X please!"
She says as I grab the pen she reaches out at me. She then slides the Clipboard to me as I put my "John Hancock" next to the X. I slide it back to her.
"So when do I start?"
I say with a metaphorical flame arising in my stomach.
"With Violent Conduct 4 being tomorrow, you will go on, make a little bit of a "cameo" if you will and then you will be on the next flight to New Zealand to face Joshua Acquin. If you have ANY questions here is my email."
She says as she hands me her business card. I fold it up and put it in my Gucci backpack that I brought with me. I then rise up from my chair and leave the room.
"This woman must be out her damn mind!" I say within my mind. "My first match is out of the country? shiiiit"
Again inside my mind as I exit the building and the scene fades to black.

Serenity. Serenity is the only word I can describe the current moment in my life right now. I walk throughout the Christchurch Botanical Gardens in Christchurch, New Zealand. Many plant species grazing along my fingertips as I walk by them. My Girlfriend, Zoe, walking beside me grasping my hand.
"So, How do you like the Gardens?"
I say with a little smirk on my face. She holds my hand tighter.
"Its Beautiful!" She ecstatically sounds off "I just dont like the reason we are here."
She states looking at me and resting her head on my shoulder.
"Why Not?"
I question raising my right eyebrow
"You know how I feel about combat sports..."
"We went over this... Im in good hands, everybody in SCW is perfectly trained and if something does happen there is a medical room right backstage."
I say with a reassuring voice.
"I know, but what if someone jumps off the top rope and you land wrong breaking your neck?"
with a worried tone to her voice.
"Well that's the risk i'm going to have to take to feed you and our future daughter."
"That's WAY down the line.. Plus, if you get paralyzed then how are we gonna have kids?"
"I wanna treat you like the queen you are, and how am I supposed to do that if I have nothing but air in my pockets?"
This makes her smile
"Yeah I know but I just worry sometimes..."
"There is no need for that though." I let go of her hand and put up my arms "Look where we are! We are in Paradise!"
I yell causing strangers to look at me funny. Zoe starts to laugh a little bit.
"I guess you're right babe..." she says putting her long sleeve shirt sleeve over her mouth. "Now get over here!"
she says as she pulls me in for a kiss, the sun shining on us perfectly. We both retract and I check my watch.
"Shit! We's gotz ta go! "
"Why?"
"There is a press conference we gotta get to! I'm already got to be late."
I say pulling Zoe along the path winding throughout the garden.

“Joshua, Joshua, Joshua… How does it feel? How does it feel knowing that the SCW dealt you a bad card? That they threw you under the bus? That they put you in the path of me. I am probably the last person that you want to face. I shatter records and bones alike! Wherever I step, Bodies pile up. Every Time there is a show that I am apart of, The body count doubles, even sometimes triples!
I am feared.. When I walk, people just naturally move out of my way as an instinct! I am the reason that parents warn their kids about the Boogeyman! Josh, I will use you as a stepping stone and nothing else. I will use you as a welcome mat and I when i'm done with you, you will be a shell of your former self! Just watch me!
Nah.. I'm just kidding! I’m not a psychopath… But you are about to take the L and believe you can believe that!"
