MALACHI vs CALEB STORMS

• This was the first singles meeting between Malachi and Storms and overall second meeting. Malachi and Storms were part of the Ultimate X Over the Pool match for the Roulette Championship last year at Summer XXXtreme, won by Teddy Warren, who lastly eliminated then-champion Griffin Hawkins to win, thus ending his first reign at 112 days in his fifth defense. The match also included Lachlan Kane and Mark Cross. Storms was the first competitor eliminated by Warren while Malachi and Kane were eliminated third when both fell into the pool simultaneously.

With last night's win, Malachi is 1-0-1 against Storms.

• Both men competed at Into the Void three weeks ago, the second straight year for Malachi and third for Storms. Malachi and Bella Madison unsuccessfully challenged Alex Jones and Johanna Krieger of Wolfslair for the World Mixed Tag Team Championship in a triple threat which also included co-challengers the Trenton Tigers, represented by Brandon Sludge and Daniela V Rodgers. Jones pinned Sludge to win for his team and retained the title. Storms defeated Tiberius of Elysia avenging an earlier singles defeat from CC 267. Storms not only won at Into the Void for the first time in three tries, but also earned his first career SCW PPV win after losing his first 13 PPV matches since making his SCW PPV debut at High Stakes VII on 29 October 2017. Storms' 13 consecutive PPV defeats is the longest streak in SCW history. Storms had lost his first two appearances at Into the Void. In 2017, he lost the Roulette Championship to Jon Dough in a triple threat which also included Ty West in a Roulette Rules Three Blind Mice match and was defeated by Fenris in 2018 in a Lion's Den match. Malachi is now 0-2 at the supercard after failing to win a fatal four-way match last year against eventual winner Teddy Warren, SCW Hall of Famer Goth (who Warren pinned), and Joshua Acquin.

• This was Malachi's sixth match in 2020, fourth match on Climax Control and second singles match following CC 262 back on 8 March where he defeated Alex Rush by pinfall. Malachi has now won four of his past six matches, and remains undefeated on Climax Control this year, now with a 4-0 record. Including the win over Rush and Storms, Malachi has a pair of mixed tag wins with Bella Madison over the teams of Candy and Chris Crippler (CC 258) and Vector C Rodgers and Char Kwan of the Trenton Tigers (CC 270).

This was the 12th match for Storms in 2020, ninth match on Climax Control, and seventh singles match on the year. Storms has now lost 12 of his past 15 matches, including eight of nine on Climax Control and seven in a row since CC 261 back on 1 March. He's lost in each of his past six singles matches since defeating Maddox Ayers by pinfall at CC 259 back in late January. Storms losing streak on Climax Control include losses to Jack Russow (CC 261), unsuccessfully challenging Austin James Mercer for the Internet Championship (CC 262), failing to win a triple threat against former World Heavyweight Champion Senor Vinnie and Travis Levitt (CC 263), singles defeats to O'Malley (CC 266) and Tiberius of Elysia (CC 267), and unsuccessfully challenging Wolfslair for the World Mixed Tag Team Championship with Jessie Salco (the main event of CC 269).

Malachi improves to 4-2 in 2020, 4-0 on Climax Control, and 2-0 in singles. Storms drops to 2-10 this year, 1-8 on Climax Control, and 2-5 in singles, including 1-6 in singles matches on Climax Control.

• Malachi is 5-8 overall in SCW having won four straight, 4-3 on Climax Control, and 3-4 in singles, including 3-3 on Climax Control. Storms is 16-43 in SCW, 15-29 on Climax Control, and 11-21 in singles, including 10-18 on Climax Control.

• Malachi teams up with Bella Madison against Bill and Bea Barnhart at CC 273.

STEPHEN CALLAWAY vs MASON ALEXANDER VANDERBILT

• This was the first meeting between Callaway and Vanderbilt, Vanderbilt's second SCW match, and his Climax Control debut.

• Both men competed at Into the Void, with Callaway failing to win the King for a Day Ladder match, which included former World Heavyweight Champion Senor Vinnie, eventual winner Jack Washington, and O'Malley. Vanderbilt won his SCW, PPV, singles, and Into the Void debut against El Dark, keeping the newcomer winless on the main roster with his fourth straight loss. This was Vanderbilt's second consecutive singles match.

• This was Callaway's 11th match of 2020 and eighth match on Climax Control, of which all eight have been in singles matches. Callaway won for just the third time in 11 matches and earned his second singles win in a row following CC 268 over El Dark to snap a three-match losing streak following defeats at CC 264 versus Fenris; Blaze of Glory in a triple threat versus Kedron Williams and Caleb Storms; and CC 266 versus Tiberius of Elysia; and a three-match losing streak in singles, including unsuccessfully challenging for the Roulette Championship against then-champion Griffin Hawkins in a Roulette Rules Scottish Bar Fight, which Callaway lost by pinfall in the main event of CC 261 back on 1 March. This is the first time Callaway has won two straight singles matches in his SCW career.

• Callaway moves on to 3-8 in 2020 and 3-5 on Climax Control. Overall, the Scotsman improves to 4-13 in SCW, 4-9 on Climax Control, and 4-7 in singles, of which all 11 singles matches have been on Climax Control. Vanderbilt slips to 1-1 in SCW, 0-1 on Climax Control.

KEIRA FISHER-JOHNSON vs APPLE COREN

• This was the first meeting between Fisher-Johnson and Coren.

• Fisher-Johnson unsuccessfully challenged Kate Steele for the Bombshell Internet Championship at Into the Void. Fisher-Johnson holds the longest active title drought in SCW and the Bombshells Division at 4 years, 7 months/55 months since her last title win at High Stakes V on 18 October 2015 when she captured the World Bombshell Tag Titles with Roxi Johnson.

Fisher-Johnson suffered her fourth straight title loss and fell to 8-6 in SCW title matches. She's split her past six matches for singles titles and has now lost three straight since August 2015 after losing the Bombshell Roulette Championship to Melanie Gabrielle in a Roulette Rules Ladder match at CC 122 on 2 August that year and unsuccessfully challenged Gabrielle for the title in a Roulette Rules Barbed Wire Massacre match at Summer XXXtreme III three weeks later on 23 August. This was Fisher-Johnson's third appearance at Into the Void, first in four years, and fourth overall match after pulling double duty in her 2015 debut when she cashed in her Queen of the Hill contract on Christina Rose to win the Bombshell Roulette Championship, then successfully defended against Traci Patterson. The following year Fisher-Johnson and Roxi Johnson lost the World Bombshell Tag Team to The Angel Clan, who ended Team Hero's title reign at 231 days in their fourth defense. Fisher-Johnson is now 2-2 at the supercard with the loss to Steele.

• Fisher-Johnson snapped a two match slide overall and in singles, the first time she's lost back-to-back matches and in singles since losing her final three matches in 2019 to Mercedes Vargas, Andrea Hernandez, and Bobbie Dahl at CC 252, CC 253, and December 2 Dismember IV, respectively.

Coren suffered her 13th straight loss, 10th straight loss on Climax Control since a 3-0-1 start in her first four matches, and 11th straight singles defeat, all dating back to last year. Her last win in SCW and in singles was back in late November 2018 at CC 221 against then-Honor Legacy Champion Jessie Salco in a non-title by pinfall. It's been 19 months since Coren's last singles win.

• Fisher-Johnson competed in her 10th match of 2020, eighth match on Climax Control, and fifth singles match. Coren competes in her second SCW match of 2020 and first in three months since a singles loss to Mercedes Vargas back at CC 262 on 8 March. That win was Vargas' first of the new year after dropping her first two matches and snapped a three-match losing streak on Climax Control.

Sunday's matchup was Coren's 10th singles match in a row since Blaze of Glory VII back on 10 March 2019 and seventh Climax Control singles match in a row since CC 241 and including CC 245, CC 246, CC 249, CC 251, and CC 262.

• Fisher-Johnson moves on to 30-26 in SCW, 19-20 on Climax Control, and 12-16 in singles, including 7-13 in singles matches on Climax Control. Fisher-Johnson became the seventh active Bombshell to reach 30 career wins. She's now two singles matches from reaching 30 in her career. Coren is now 3-15 in SCW, 3-10-1 on Climax Control, and 2-11-1 in singles, including 2-9-1 on Climax Control.

• Fisher-Johnson will be back again next week when she teams up with former Bombshell Roulette Champion Candy against Jessie Salco and Mercedes Vargas at CC 273.

NON-TITLE: INTERNET CHAMPION AUSTIN JAMES MERCER vs JACK'D THE RIPPER

• This was the first meeting between Mercer and Jack'd the Ripper.

• Mercer was coming off a successful title defense over Bill Barnhart at Into the Void, his fifth since winning the title at February's My Bloody Valentine III in a six-way ladder match for the reinstated title, which included Caleb Storms, Mark Cross, Jake Raab, Stephen Callaway, and Teddy Warren.

The Prodigal Son has since turned away challenges from Storms in the main event of CC 262, Jake Raab and Denise Andrews at CC 263 in a mixed tag team match with then-Bombshell Roulette Champion Candy where both titles were on the line in a winner take all tag team match, Lachlan Kane at Blaze of Glory VIII back in April, and Teddy Warren in the main event of CC 268.

This was Mercer's 11th match of 2020, eighth match on Climax Control, and sixth singles match on the year. With last night's win, Mercer has now won 10 of his past 11 matches and his fifth in a row. Mercer has won seven of eight on Climax Control and now won three straight. He remains undefeated in singles having now won six in a row.

Jack'd the Ripper competed in his second SCW match following CC 268. This was his second consecutive and overall singles match. He was defeated in his SCW, Climax Control and singles debut to former World Mixed Tag Team Champion Lachlan Kane.

• Mercer improves to 10-1 in 2020, 7-1 on Climax Control, and 6-0 in singles, including 4-0 in singles matches on Climax Control. Overall, he is 23-8 in SCW, 16-6 on Climax Control, and 16-3 in singles having won eight straight since CC 249 in late September 2019. Mercer's last singles loss was to Ty West by submission at CC 246 in early September 2019.

Mercer has been Internet Champion for what will be 140 days at CC 273 next week. He became the fifth champion to reach 100 days on 26 May. Mercer currently hold the third-longest singles reign with the title having already surpassed Despayre (112) and Sean Jackson's (119) first reigns this month, and surpassed Rage's 126-day reign this past Monday, 22 June. Surpassing Jackson's 119-day singles reign now puts Mercer in fourth in most combined days.

Mercer is six weeks away from tying Hawkins and Despayre's (2nd reign) 196-day singles reigns for first. Mercer needs to hold the title by 31 August. He will tie Rage (140 days, 2 reigns) for third next week in combined days with the title, with only Hawkins' 196-day singles reign, and Despayre (308 days, 2 reigns) in front of him. To claim Despayre's combined record, Mercer will need to hold the title until 21 December.

• Mercer takes on SCU Underground Champion O'Malley in a non-title at CC 273.

TALLYN vs BEA BARNHART

• This was Tallyn's seventh match since making her SCW debut at CC 262, her fifth match on Climax Control, and third singles match after CC 267 and CC 269.

Tallyn's first matches in SCW were during the Blast From the Past Tournament with Jack Washington. They defeated Casey Williams and Bobbie Dahl in the first week of the first round before they were eliminated by eventual tournament winners Mark Cross and Evie Jordan at CC 264 in the second week of the quarterfinals. She lost her SCW singles debut at CC 267 to Sam Marlowe, then failed to win a fatal four-way Bombshell Internet Championship number one contender's match against Seleana Zdunich, Keira Fisher-Johnson and Mercedes Vargas when Fisher-Johnson pinned Vargas at Blaze of Glory. Tallyn defeated Christina Rose by roll-up at CC 269 for her first singles win. Most recently, she was unsuccessful in the Queen for a Day Ladder match at Into the Void IX, of which also included eventual winner Rose, Vargas, and Zdunich as well as Roxi Johnson and Jessie Salco.

Tallyn has now won three of five on Climax Control.

Barnhart competed in her 10th match since her debut in January at CC 256, her seventh match on Climax Control, and seventh singles match. She's now lost seven of her past 10 matches in SCW, including six of eight on Climax Control. She's lost five of seven in singles including four of five in singles, where she's lost four straight on Climax Control since her debut win over Violet Amelia Holt at CC 256. Barnhart had since suffered setbacks to Andrea Hernandez and Seleana Zdunich at CC 260 and CC 261, and to Bobbie Dahl at CC 270 in Barnhart's most recent match to date.

Tallyn improve to 3-4 in SCW, 3-2 on Climax Control and 2-1 in singles, of which all three singles matches were on Climax Control. Barnhart falls to 3-7 in SCW, 2-6 on Climax Control, and 2-5 in singles, including 1-4 on Climax Control.

• Barnhart teams up with her husband Bill Barnhart against Sash and Bash, Malachi and Bella Madison at CC 273.

JACK WASHINGTON vs SENOR VINNIE

• This was the second meeting between Washington and Vinnie. These two Superstars met for the second time in less than a month and the second consecutive match following the King for a Day match at Into the Void IX won by Washington, and which also included O'Malley and Stephen Callaway.

• Washington competed in his sixth SCW match since his debut with Tallyn during this year's Blast From the Past Tournament where they reached the quarterfinals where they lost to eventual tournament winners Mark Cross and Evie Jordan. They defeated Casey Williams and Bobbie Dahl in the first round. Washington would split his next two matches, winning his singles debut against then-Roulette Champion Jack Russow at CC 267 but falling to Kris Ryans three weeks later at CC 270. Into the Void marked Washington's SCW PPV debut.

For Vinnie, Into the Void was his second overall and consecutive appearance at the supercard. He is still winless at the event following a singles loss to Jake Raab last year. The former World Heavyweight Champion competes in his ninth match of the year, sixth match on Climax Control, and seventh singles match. Vinnie's loss was just his third defeat in eight matches in 2020. He has won four of his past six singles matches, including his most recent at CC 269 over El Dark by submission.

Washington has now split his past six matches, has lost three of five on Climax Control and two of three in singles. Vinnie has now won six of nine, including four of six on Climax Control and five of seven in singles and three of five on Climax Control.

Vinnie improves to 6-3 in 2020, 4-2 on Climax Control, and 5-2 in singles. He's won three of his past five singles contest on Sunday nights.

• Overall, Washington slips to 3-3 in SCW, 2-3 on Climax Control, and 1-2 in singles, of which all three singles matches were on Climax Control. Vinnie improves to 23-13 in SCW, 16-9 on Climax Control, and 18-7 in singles, including 12-5 on Climax Control.

• Vinnie takes on Kris Ryans at CC 273. Washington will be in the main event challenging Ben Jordan for the World Heavyweight Championship.

WORLD MIXED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: WOLFSLAIR (Alex Jones and Johanna Krieger) © vs TRENTON TIGERS

• This was the third time these teams met over the titles following My Bloody Valentine and Into the Void, of which both were multi-team matches. Jones and Krieger won the titles in a fatal four-way at the former PPV, which included then-champion London Brawling and (Daniel J Morgan and Charlotte Elliot) and The Good Shepherds (Father Gerald Shepherd and Mother Mavis Shepherd) and successfully defended them at the latter PPV in a triple threat against the Tigers and the team of Malachi and Bella Madison. Last night marked Jones' third pinfall over Sludge to retain the titles.

• This was the fourth defense for Wolfslair. Including their defense at Into the Void, Jones and Krieger has also retained against the teams of Blasted Monk and Song and Caleb Storms and Jessie Salco at Blaze of Glory VIII and CC 269, respectively. With the win, Wolfslair broke a tie with Team Eggplant (Lachlan Kane and Sierra Williams) for most singles and combined defenses with the titles. Kane and Williams' record had stood for 15 months since Blaze of Glory VII back on 9 March 2019.

Wolfslair will be champion for what will be 140 days at CC 273 next week. Team Eggplant holds the record for singles longest reign and shares the record for combined days at 175 days. Wolfslair is a little more than a month from tying the record, needing to hold the titles until 10 August.

• This was the first ever main event for the Trenton Tigers. Jones competed in his fourth SCW main event and second main event tag match. He won for the first time after he dropped his first three main event matches at CC 236, CC 248, and CC 251 in 2019. The latter two matches were unsuccessful challenges for the World Heavyweight Championship against then-champion Senor Vinnie. CC 236 was a tag loss with Austin James Mercer against Ty West and Fenris, with Jones taking the pinfall loss by Fenris.

• The Trenton Tigers fall to a combined 2-4 in mixed tag matches. The Brandon Sludge/Daniela V Rodgers tandem are 2-2 as a team. They have victories over Bill and Bea Barnhart (CC 257) and Malachi and Bella Madison (Blaze of Glory VIII). Vector C Rodgers and Char Kwan lost their tag team debut against Malachi and Madison at CC 270. This was the first time Sludge and Kwan teamed together.

Kwan competed in her overall eighth match in SCW and fourth match of 2020. CC 268 was her first match in SCW and on Climax Control since CC 232 back in March 2019 where she lost in the first round of the 2019 Blast From the Past Tournament with Jack Asher against Mackenzie Page and Goth. Her last match was at CC 270 in a mixed tag loss with Vector C Rodgers against Malachi and Bella Madison.

Six of Kwan's seven previous matches have been in mixed tag, winning just once, her SCW and PPV debut at Violent Conduct V in September 2019 with Jimmy Andrews against Heavy Metal Mania (Twisted Sister, Anthrax and Iron Maiden). Along with the BFTP first round loss at CC 232, Kwan also lost tag matches with Jimmy Andrews against Ben and Evie Jordan at CC 222 and with Jack Stewart against Jon Dough and Amy Santino at CC 225, both in 2018. Kwan's lone non-tag match was at CC 228 in February 2018 where she was defeated by Santino by pinfall.

Kwan falls to 1-7 in SCW, 0-7 on Climax Control, and 1-6 in mixed tag matches.

• Jones competed in his eighth match of 2020, fifth match on Climax Control, and sixth tag match, of which all have been title matches with Krieger. The tandem are undefeated as a team now with a 6-0 record. Kreiger competed in her ninth match Sunday, and fifth match on Climax Control.
