LACHLAN KANE vs BLADE ALEXANDER

This was the first meeting between these Superstars.

Ahead of CC 239, Kane came off a singles win over Jack Asher two weeks ago following a title loss with Sierra Williams at London Brawling II as they were defeated by Gamers Inc, who ended their reign with the World Mixed Tag Team Championship at a record-breaking 175 days and three successful defenses in their fourth defense of the titles since winning them at High Stakes VIII on 11 November 2018. It was Kane and Williams' first loss as a team in six matches (5-0) and Kane's fourth overall loss in SCW.

With the win over Alexander, Kane improves to 8-4 in SCW and 4-1 in singles, with wins also over Jake Raab at CC 221 and Kadar Hasheem at CC 223.

Alexander lost his third in a row after a submission singles loss to Goth last week, and falling short in a triple threat match at London Brawling II to determine the number one contender to the Roulette Championship, won by Jack Asher who pinned Joshua Acquin. Asher lost his contendership to Lachlan Kane at CC 237.

Alexander will be action again next week against Teddy Warren-Steele at CC 240 in Fort Defiance, Arizona. Kane will face Griffin Hawkins for the Roulette Championship at Into the Void VIII on 30 June.

ALEX JONES vs TRAVIS LEVITT

This was the third meeting between these two and their second singles meeting. They shared the ring at Blaze of Glory for the World Heavyweight Championship with Fenris and Jake Raab. Fenris pinned Levitt to retain. Jones defeated Levitt by pinfall to win his SCW singles debut.

Ahead of Sunday's clash, Jones was coming off his second straight defeat, a main event tag loss with Austin James Mercer against Ty West and Fenris at CC 236, where Fenris pinned Jones. The loss also ended Jones' undefeated streak on Climax Control after winning his first five matches. Levitt lost to Ben Jordan last week.

Jones is now 2-0 against Levitt, having also won the earlier singles on 9 February at CC 228. "The Black Dragon" moves on to 7-3 in SCW, 6-1 on Climax Control. Levitt has now lost four straight, now 3-9 in 2019, 4-9 overall in SCW, 2-5 in singles and 4-6 on Climax Control.

Levitt takes on Fenris at CC 240 next week.

CULTURE SHOCK (Jack Asher and Emmie Ward) vs AMY SANTINO and SENOR VINNIE

This was the tag team debut for Culture Shock, the SCW, Climax Control and tag team debut for Ward and the first meeting between these two teams.

Ahead of Climax Control 239, Asher was coming off a singles loss to Lachlan Kane at CC 237 where Asher lost his Roulette Championship contendership that he won at London Brawling II in a triple threat against Blade Alexander and Joshua Acquin, pinning the latter. Asher made his SCW debut during the Blast From the Past Tournament with Char Kwan where they bowed out of the first round against Mackenzie Page and Goth back at CC 232 on 31 March. With the tag loss tonight, Asher is now 1-3 in SCW. His lone win was at London Brawling II back on 5 May defeating both Joshua Acquin and Travis Levitt to become then-number one contender for the Roulette Championship.

Santino and Vinnie are coming off a mix tag team loss to London Underground, represented by Charlotte Elliot and Osborne at CC 237 when Elliot submitted Santino. With the win tonight, Santino and Vinnie improve to 3-2 as a team

Individually, Vinnie is now 7-2 in 2019 and 11-5 in SCW. This was his seventh career tag match. Santino ends a three-match slide for her first win since CC 234 when she and Vinnie defeated Jessie Salco and Andrew Garcia to advance to the last four in this year's Blast From the Past Tournament . "The Punk Princess" and SCW Hall of Famer is now 20-28-1 in tag, including 11-12 in mixed tag. Santino is now 6-7 in 2019 and 54-81-2 for her career, including 38-58-2 on Climax Control in her 98th career match, tying her with Salco for most in SCW and needing two more to compete in 100 career matches on Climax Control. Santino, Salco and Vargas (who competed in her 95th Climax Control match Sunday) are the only wrestlers in SCW history with 90-plus career matches on Sunday nights. Salco competes in her 99th match next week at CC 240.

SELEANA ZDUNICH vs CAT RILEY

This was the second meeting between Zdunich and Riley, who last met at High Stakes VIII won by Riley by disqualification due to Kate Steele attacking Riley.

Zdunich suffers her second straight loss following her three-match unbeaten streak (2-0-1) and seven-match unbeaten streak on Climax Control (6-0-1) halted, including a six-match unbeaten streak in singles (5-0-1) when she unsuccessfully challenged Alicia Lukas for the World Bombshell Championship at CC 237, Zdunich's fourth career main event. The loss dropped Zdunich to 1-4 in title matches, 1-2 in world title matches. "The Cat" falls to 12-14-1 in SCW, 9-10-1 on Climax Control and 9-9 in singles and second straight loss.

This was Riley's fourth match since returning from a three-month hiatus. Riley was coming off her a submission singles win over Bombshell Roulette Champion Samantha Marlowe in a non-title at CC 237, her sixth career win by tap out. Riley avenged a singles loss to Crystal Zdunich earlier at Inception III with a victory at CC 236 followed by a submission win over Apple Coren at London Brawling II. With Sunday's win at CC 239, Riley has won five of six (5-1) and four in a row. She improves to 4-1 in 2019, 15-1 in SCW, remains undefeated on Climax Control with a 11-0 record and is 13-1 in singles, including 9-0 on Climax Control.

CALEB STORMS vs JAKE RAAB

This was the first meeting between Storms and Raab.

Storms was coming off a singles pinfall win over Kedron Williams at CC 237. Prior to that win, Storms had lost three in a row, five of six and nine of his last eleven matches. With tonight's loss to Raab, Storms is now 3-8 in 2019 and falls record to 11-25 overall in SCW. All of his wins have come on Climax Control (he is 0-9 on PPV overall). "The Metal Storm" is 7-9 in singles. Storms next faces Fenris at Into the Void VIII in a Lion's Den match.

Raab followed a singles pinfall win over Blake Alexander at CC 236 with a singles pinfall loss to Kale Smith the following week at CC 237. The loss saw Raab's two-match streak snapped and his four-match win streak in singles, which included pinfall wins over Hitamashii (CC 238) and Todd Williams (CC 230). The former Honor Champion has split his first ten matches in 2019, now 5-5, 9-8 in SCW, 8-6 on Climax Control and 8-5 in singles.

NON-TITLE: ROULETTE CHAMPION GRIFFIN HAWKINS vs KALE SMITH

This was the first meeting between Hawkins and Smith.

Hawkins was coming off his first successful defense of the Roulette Championship, defeating Travis Levitt at CC 236 in a Roulette Rules Steel Cage match via escape of the cage. It was a return match from London Brawling II in a Roulette Rules Submission match where Hawkins ended Levitt's 49-day reign in his first defense. Smith was coming off a singles win over Jake Raab at CC 237

Smith saw his undefeated streak end at six matches and first loss since 2016. The Superstar Blast From the Past Tournament winner is now 7-2 overall. (He split his first two matches in 2016, winning his debut against Markus Reeves by submission at CC 150 and losing the second match to Samuel Devereaux by pinfall at CC 153 before his lengthy absence). Smith falls to his second loss on Climax Control and had his four-match win streak snapped, now 5-2 on Climax Control and 3-2 in singles with a two-match win streak ended.

With the win over Smith, Hawkins improves to 5-1 in 2019, 12-5 overall in SCW, 9-4 on Climax Control winning his third in a row and 11-5 in singles winning four straight. "The Rock Soldier" next faces World Heavyweight Champion Austin James Mercer in a main event Champion versus Champion non-title at CC 240. Hawkins will be 42 days in as Roulette Champion.

BOMBSHELL CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS: WORLD BOMBSHELL CHAMPION ALICIA LUKAS and MERCEDES VARGAS vs BOMBSHELL ROULETTE CHAMPION SAMANTHA MARLOWE and CRYSTAL ZDUNICH

This was the first time these four have teamed up with each other, the second meetings for Lukas against both Marlowe and Zdunich, the tenth between Vargas and Zdunich and third time facing each other in the main event, the second meeting between Lukas and Zdunich, the 12th between Vargas and Marlowe, the second meeting involving Lukas and Vargas and seventh involving Marlowe and Zdunich.

Lukas was coming off her second defense of the World Bombshell Championship defeating Seleana Zdunich by pinfall in the main event of CC 237. Sunday was Lukas' seventh career main event and third in a row following London Brawling II where she successfully defended against Kate Steele and CC 237. After dropping her first three at CC 223, Inception III and CC 230 respectively, "The Strong Style Southern Belle" had won three straight main events at Blaze of Glory VII, London Brawling II and the aforementioned CC 237. Vargas won her second straight match following London Brawling II with a singles win over Trinity Jones at CC 236. Zdunich won a tag match with Seleana Zdunich against the Metal and Punk Connection at London Brawling II when with by Crystal Zdunich's pinfall on Salco. Marlowe had her seven-month unbeaten streak ended by Cat Riley at CC 237. The ten-match win streak included eight straight in singles to match a career-high from mid-September 2015 to mid-May 2016, dating back to a fatal four-way on 21 October 2018 at CC 219 where Marlowe pinned Trinity Jones in a Roulette Rules Black Friday Brawl to become number one contender to the Bombshell Roulette Championship that also included Amy Santino and Seleana Zdunich. Marlowe's last defeat happened at Into the Void last year where Brittany Williams ended her second Bombshell Roulette Championship reign in a Roulette Rules Ladder match. Her last decisive loss happened at CC 202 on 22 April 2018 when she was pinned by Courtney Pierce in the quarterfinals of last year's Blast From the Past Tournament as eventual tournament winners Pierce and Fenris defeated Marlowe and Caleb Storms to advance. Marlowe's last singles defeat was to Mercedes Vargas at CC 197 on 26 November 2017. The defeat was her first loss of 2019 after six matches, now 6-1.

With the draw, Marlowe is 43-27-3 in SCW, 32-18-3 on Climax Control and 12-8-1 in tag that saw her two-match win streak end but she still remains unbeaten in three matches (2-0-1) winning her previous two at CC 223 and CC 225 in 2018. Zdunich is 37-38-3 and 23-27-2 on Climax Control.

Vargas is 4-3-2 in 2019, 58-71-3 in her career, 42-50-3 on Climax Control and 17-20-1 in tag. Vargas competed in her 20th career main event in SCW, now 10-9-1 record and 10-8-1 in 19 Climax Control main events. Her last main event tag happened on 30 September 2018 at CC 216 with a win with Cat Riley against Kate Steele and Jessie Salco.

Lukas is 7-4-2 in SCW, 5-3-1 on Climax Control and 1-2-1 in tag matches, of which two of those matches were in this year's Blast From the Past Tournament with Blade Alexander, defeating Calia and Hitamashii in the first round at CC 231, but falling to eventual tournament winners Brittany Williams and Kale Smith two shows later at CC 233, though it was Alexander who was pinned. Lukas lost her tag team debut with Jessie Salco against Dani Weston and Marlowe when Marlowe submitted Salco. Lukas defeated Crystal and Seleana Zdunich and Dani Weston at Blaze of Glory to retain the World Bombshell Championship.

Vargas and Marlowe meet for the first time in 2019 in what was their 12th overall match. The head-to-head series belongs to Marlowe 5-3-4, including 3-1-1 in tag. Marlowe won the first three tag matches at CC 153, CC 179 and CC 214 respectively while Vargas won the most recent at Violent Conduct against Marlowe and Caleb Storms last year to regain the World Mixed Tag Team Championship with Kain.

This was also the 51st career match between Vargas and Zdunich and 19th tag match in a rivalry that has lasted close to a decade; In 43 head-to-head meetings, the overall series is 15-13-15, in Vargas' favor, including 8-1-3 in tag.

Zdunich last met Vargas in the main event of CC 203 on 29 April 2018 in a triple threat where Zdunich pinned Diamond to retain the Bombshell Internet Championship. Zdunich is 6-1-2 all-time against Vargas in SCW, including 3-0 in main events (CC 161, SXT, CC 203). Zdunich's only defeat to Vargas was during a non-title Pumpkin on a Pole match at CC 163 in 2016.

The last time Marlowe and Zdunich were in a tag match was the main event of CC 225 back on 23 December 2018. Marlowe and Cat Riley defeated Zdunich and Mercedes Lewis in a tag match when Marlowe submitted Lewis.

Vargas and Marlowe will see each other again in three weeks at Into the Void in Phoenix with the Bombshell Roulette Championship at stake. Lukas will face Brittany Williams, Zdunich's daughter, in defense of the World Bombshell Championship.
