Guys, if we don't get a few reviews on this today, this is gonna be our last review thread.

Blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brothers keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger, those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the LORD, when I lay my vengeance upon thee

CC 211 QUICK RESULTS – AUGUST 5, 2018, THE EVENT CENTER ARENA, SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA

WORLD BOMBSHELL CHAMPIONSHIP NUMBER ONE CONTENDER GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT, FIRST ROUND: AVIANA FAITH def. PARAND ARA by pinfall (Sunny Disposition)
DMITRI def. JOSHUA ACQUIN by pinfall (Nosferatu)
WORLD BOMBSHELL CHAMPIONSHIP NUMBER ONE CONTENDER GOLD RUSH TOURNAMENT, FIRST ROUND: BRITTANY WILLIAMS def. PORTIA ALEXANDER by pinfall to advance to the semifinals (Coronation)
WORLD MIXED TAG TEAM CHAMPION KAIN def. JON DOUGH by pinfall (Whirlwind Fist)
BOMBSHELL ROULETTE CHAMPIONSHIP: EVIE BAANG © def. SELEANA ZDUNICH in a Roulette Rules First Blood match to retain the title in her first defense
AMY SANTINO def. JESSIE SALCO in a ladder match. With the win, Salco must become Santino's servant/maid for the rest of 2018.

]NEED TO KNOW[/b]

CC 211

- This was the third visit to San Jose since 2012 (CC 37) and first since 3 December last year, the most recent visit to the Event Center. At CC 198, then-Bombshell Internet Champion defeated Alice Knight to retain the title; the Unholy Alliance defeated High Velocity; Natalie McKinley and Lowri Moss defeated the Foshan Bombshells; then-World Heavyweight Champion Calvin Harris defeated Antrax in a non-title, then Internet Champion Griffin Hawkins defeated Samuel Devereaux to retain the title; and Charlotte Elliot and Mackenzie Page of London Underground retained the Bombshell Tag Team Championships against the Metal and Punk Connection.

- This was the second visit to San Jose
for Amy Santino, Jessie Salco, Kain (all at CC 37), and Dmitri (CC 198). At CC 37 on 16 December 2012, Santino and Necra Octavian Kane retained the World Bombshell Tag Team Championship against Jessie Salco and Vixen while Kain and Lucian Frost (Blood Omen) defeated Despayre and Gabriel (Sinful Obsession) for the World Tag Team Championship, ending their reign at 231 days, which still remains the singles record for longest World Tag Team Championship reign going on six years now.

CC 211 is the sixth six-match card of 2018. The others include CC 204 - CC 206 and CC 207 - CC 208. Overall this was the 72nd six-match card in Climax Control history.

MATCHES
(First time matches excluded)

AVIANA FAITH vs PARAND ARA
This was the second meeting between Faith and Ara. Faith also won the earlier meeting by pinfall in her debut match at CC 208. With the win, Faith is now 2-2 in SCW. Parand suffers her second defeat in a row and falls to 1-3 since her SCW return at CC 203. Her lone win to date was against Jessie Salco by pinfall in a Roulette Rules Syrian Strap match at CC 206

AMY SANTINO v JESSIE SALCO
This was the 12th meeting between Santino and Salco as opponents. With her second win over Salco in three weeks, Santino now leads the overall series 6-2-4 (W-L-D)

MILESTONES

- Evie Baang earned her 24th career win, improving to 24-5-1 in her 30th career match, her third win in a row (CC 208, SXT VI), and seventh win in her previous eight matches. Capturing her first Bombshell Roulette Championship and overall third championship in her career at the pay-per-view, Baang became the 11th Triple Crown Champion in SCW history and only the 5th Bombshell to accomplish the feat after Vixen (BOG II, March 2014), Amy Marshall (BOG IV, March 2016), Mercedes Vargas (CC 148, May 2016) and Roxi Johnson (VC IV, September 2016). With her first successful defense, Baang improves to 6-2-1 in title matches and is four away from tying the record for most singles defenses (5) and six from tying the combined record (7). Both are held by Mercedes Vargas since March 2015. Sam Marlowe tied the singles mark during her first Bombshell Roulette Title reign in 2016.
- Jessie Salco competed in her 120th career match in SCW, falling to 34-84-2 and is six matches from 90 career losses. Salco already owns the record for most career losses in SCW history and the most by a Bombshell. No other Bombshell has more than 60 and not even Amy Santino (68) or Mercedes Vargas (63) is anywhere close to surpassing this record.
- Amy Santino competed in her 113th career match, the third-most ever in SCW history, only behind Jessie Salco (120) and Mercedes Vargas (115 at CC 212). After surpassing Roxi Johnson for most career pay-per-view wins at Summer XXXtreme, The Punk Princess accomplished two more milestones on Sunday, winning her 30th career match on Climax Control to improve to 30-49-1 and competing in her 80th career match on Sunday nights. The 30 wins makes Santino the second active Bombshell behind Mercedes Vargas (37) and third overall (behind Roxi Johnson with 40 and Vargas) to reach this milestone while the Hall of Famer joins Jessie Salco (86) and Vargas (83 at CC 212) as the only Bombshells with 80 appearances. Santino earned her 44th career win (44-68-1) and is now six wins shy from becoming only the third Bombshell in history to reach 50 career wins. Vargas earned her 50th win at Summer XXXtreme VI. Roxi Johnson has 53 in her career, the most in the Bombshells division.
- Joshua Acquin competed in his 71st career match on Sunday. It's his fourth straight loss after CC 207 (versus Dmitri), CC 210 (versus Caleb Storms) and Summer XXXtreme VI (a tag team loss with Jessie Salco versus Amy Santino and Wyatt Peterson), the latter where he lost the 50th match of his career. Acquin is now 17-51-3.
_______________

Favourite Match: Jessie Salco/Amy Santino

Why: Take two former best friends, add a ladder, sprinkle in some high stakes and you have a recipe for what was an entertaining main event. Have to feel bad for Salco here as she's now lost to Amy twice in three weeks and now have to serve under her for the rest of the year. Can't wait to see how this will turn out!

Favourite Segment: Crimson, Kate Steele

Why: Adding insult to injury following his victory over Drake Green at Summer XXXtreme, Crimson didn't seemed all that impressed with the former four-time champion and ran down his career, his good name and his personal life, while mocking the fans to boot. Some impressive heel work here.

Kate Steele is back, and she made her return to SCW the only way she knew how, by sending a message. That it was at the expense of her former mentor, Christina Rose, is telling especially how this segment played out. No surprise to me that Steele was all the more proud of her handiwork. Sunday she makes her in-ring return against Amy Marshall. *insert dis gonna b gud gif*

The hits keep on coming for Rose who follows up being embarrassed three title matches in a row against Mikah with getting beat down for the second time in three months - first by her own daughter in Brittany Williams on Mother's Day at CC 203, and now by Steele.

Overall Highlight of the Night: The Gold Rush Tournament and the main event.

Why: When you can't find a logical number one contender, throw them all in a tournament. Sounds like a plan for Mikah, but even then, the record-tying three-time champion will have to keep a firm grip on her title before Violent Conduct. eight Bombshells, four weeks, one worthy contender for the World Bombshell Championship. Two Bombshells are through to the final four; Who will be the other two? We'll find out in two weeks.

Stand Out Superstar: Tommy Crimson; Fenris; Ben Jordan

Why: Just when you though he couldn't get more controversial, Crimson seems to find a new way to make himself public enemy number one. He already has fans booing him out the building, and a few Superstars and Bombshells (most Mikah) are really not liking him at all. If you can get that reaction, you're doing your job right as a heel.

Ben Jordan's interview was interesting and adds another layer to an already generally positive storyline with his #BenDesrvesBetter movement, and now gives Crimson ammunition to use against him in his series of mind games. Something tells me they're going to be the best of friends against Kristopher Ryans and the champ Fenris this weekend.

Best Stand Out Bombshell: Aviana Faith, Brittany Williams

Why: Both Bombshells took advantage of an opportunity and they pulled off wins now getting them one step closer to realizing their dream of challenging for the top prize in the Bombshells division. We don't if they'll be facing one another or whoever else joins them in the semis of the Gold Rush, but it should be exciting to see how far they can go in the tournament.

Overall Rating: 8.0

Why: The post-Summer XXXtreme show at CC 211 and the fallout was a pretty good show as we got to hear from all the new champions. Fenris and Mercedes boasted about their wins, Evie Baang held on to her championship two weeks after she won it; Ben Jordan praising Jon Dough and shunning Caleb Storms in his interview. The Gold Rush Tournament isn't the first time a tournament was thrown together with Mikah as current champion. Two years ago, then-Bombshell Roulette Champion Melanie Gabrielle ran the table in a contender's tournament, having won three triple threat matches along the way to meet Mikah at December 2 Dismember 2 before losing the Bombshell Roulette Championship, which ended her reign at 133 days.

Final Thoughts: Alright, time for some reactions from CC 211 and looking ahead towards CC 212

- Summer XXXtreme was Ben Jordan's first career singles championship win and his overall fourth title in SCW. We heard from the first-time Roulette Champion who delivered a few bombshells during his in-ring interview with Pussy Williams, including delving into his personal life and his health as of late. Will this backfire on the Cockney King knowing Crimson mastery of using mind games?
- Fenris is still undefeated and a world champion three months into his career. Sunday will see a clash of champions and contenders when Fenris teams up Kristopher Ryans against Crimson and Roulette Champion Ben Jordan in a match that could see fireworks. Can Fenris remain undefeated working alongside the former champion? Will Ben Jordan handle the unpredictable Crimson? And what will Ryans say about the title picture during his absence?
- When SCW returned in mid-April, Mercedes Vargas started on a slump, but the Argentine Assassin seemingly turned the corner, having won three of her last four, including back-to-back wins on pay-per-view (Into the Void, Summer XXXtreme). Having won her 50th match and her record tenth championship in the company, what's left on her checklist? Vargas is now closing in on Roxi Johnson's records for most career wins in history and on Climax Control, needing three to tie and four to claim the Hall of Famer's record of 53 and 40 wins, respectively. Vargas has won two in a row. Can she push that to three this weekend with Kain in their non-title match against a mystery team neither have any idea will be facing?
- That's now four straight losses for Seleana Zdunich after her Bombshell Roulette Championship defeat to Evie Baang, her first championship match opportunity since arriving in the company in late April at CC 203. In eight matches so far, Zdunich has won just twice - her debut match, and most recently at CC 207 against Dani Weston seven weeks ago. Can The Cat get back to high ground soon?
- Caleb Storms may have bit off more than he can chew. He can now kiss his chances of reclaiming the Roulette Championship goodbye following his comments and Ben Jordan slammed the door of defending his newly won championship against him. With the world title picture getting crowded as of late, where does Storms go from here?
- Both members of The Hellraisers lost at CC 211. Joshua Acquin hopes to snap his recent dry spell, this time against Ty West, who's coming off a tough loss to Fenris for the world title and pulled double duty at the supercard. Acquin has loss three straight while West competes in his tenth match in SCW Sunday.
- Christina Rose competed in her 66th and 67th career matches. The loss in the co-main event drops her to 33-32-2 in her SCW career. She's three matches away from becoming the fourth active Bombshell to reach 70 career matches. Only Jessie Salco, Mercedes Vargas, and Amy Marshall has accomplished this feat.
- Kain won his second match in a row since his surprise return at Summer XXXtreme where the King of Kings captured the World Mixed Tag Team Championship with Mercedes Vargas making history as the first Superstar to win every championship in the company and joining Vargas as the first and so far only wrestlers to accomplish this milestone. Now, Kain and Vargas compete in their second match since the title win and third time overall facing a mystery team.
- Casey Williams is four matches from 100 career matches. Sunday at Climax Control marks his 96th career match as he faces Tony Thorn in singles competition.
- Brittany Williams bounced back from her Bombshell Roulette Championship title loss to Evie Baang at Summer XXXtreme with a singles win over Portia Alexander to advance to the semifinals of the Gold Rush Tournament. Who she faces in the final four is up in the air, but we do know that Aviana Faith will be joining her. There's also who the loser of this weekend's Mikah/Dani Weston World Bombshell Title match will face in the second half of quarterfinals plus the other match.
- After her third consecutive defeat to Mikah for the World Bombshell Championship and fourth match in a row over the title, Christina Rose contemplated over her career before being interrupted and attacked by the returning Kate Steele. Is this the start of a feud between the former student and her mentor?
- Sam Marlowe returns to the ring for the first time since her injury and second Bombshell Roulette Title reign ended at Into the Void over two months ago. The former two-time World Bombshell Champion and two-time Bombshell Roulette Champion takes on Portia Alexander in Anaheim. Can the Sin City Sweetheart work off ten weeks of ring rust and get on track? Or will Alexander spring an upset for her first win?
- Dani Weston gets another shot at SCW gold Sunday when she goes one-on-one with Mikah with the World Bombshell Championship on the line. While her first attempt with Casey Williams challenging for the World Mixed Tag Team Championship didn't pan out in her debut, perhaps Weston's setback from that defeat and the three others that followed at CC 207 (to Seleana Zdunich), CC 209 (Mercedes Vargas) and Summer XXXtreme (the Ultimate X Over the Pool match) was a learning curve. Not that facing Mikah will be any easier as the champion overcame Christina Rose three times in four consecutive matches spanning over two months and retained both times in the rematches at CC 210 and again at Summer XXXtreme. But even if she falls Sunday, the upstart Bombshell still has her place in the Gold Rush, which has sparked a little controversy among fans and her fellow co-workers alike on Twitter. Weston is still in search of her first career win in what will be her fifth match. Can she flip the script on the World Bombshell title picture with an upset on the champion? Can Mikah hold on in her third defense and keep her reign going on the road to Violent Conduct? This will be Mikah's 60th career match (41-16-2) and 27th career title match (17-7-2), having won three straight.

Climax Control returns to California for the 16th time and first-ever visit to Anaheim. Only four shows left until Violent Conduct!

-------------------------------------

Your Character: Mercedes Vargas

Storyline Notes: Mercedes Vargas addressed her championship win and now she and Kain begin the groundwork of their title reign. With the rematch with London Underground looming, there's also Vargas chasing history in claiming the records for most career wins in the company and on Climax Control, needing just four more wins to do so in both scenarios. With only 15 shows left over the next four months to close out 2018, including the final two pay-per-views of the year, Violent Conduct V on September 16 and High Stakes VII on November 11, Vargas will have plenty of chances to add yet another accolade to her already impressive career.

Character Portrayal Notes: Mercedes was not scheduled to compete Sunday

What Do You Want to See: How the cycle leading up to Violent Conduct V plays out. With the Gold Rush Tournament and a feud between Been Jordan and Crimson, I like what I see.
