MERCEDES VARGAS vs ANDREA HERNANDEZ

STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES

This is both the second match and consecutive singles match for Hernandez and the first meeting between these Bombshells.

Vargas was unsuccessful in retaining the Bombshell Roulette Championship in her third defense in the Ultimate X Over the Pool at Summer XXXtreme VII on 25 August, ending her reign at 56 days. She was the third woman eliminated from the contest by Bobbie Dahl. Samantha Marlowe went on to win the match, lastly eliminating Kate Steele to claim her record-tying fourth reign. Vargas was the first four-time champion when she defeated Marlowe for the title, ending her record 231-day reign at Into the Void VIII on 30 June. The defeat at Summer XXXtreme was her second straight loss following CC 245 and is the first time Vargas has lost back-to-back matches in 2019. The last time she lost consecutive matches was at CC 222 and High Stakes VIII on 28 October and 11 November 2018 respectively.

Hernandez won her SCW, Climax Control and singles debut against The Iron Maiden at CC 246 on 8 September. This will be Vargas' 14th match of 2019, her 11th singles match and 9th on Climax Control. She's 6-3-1 in singles, 4-3-1 on Climax Control.

Sunday marks the 138th career match and 99th match on Climax Control for the Hall of Famer. She is two matches away and one Climax Control match away from becoming just the third female wrestler to reach 140 career matches and 100 television matches after Jessie Salco and Amy Santino. Salco wrestled her 140th career match at Into the Void VIII on 30 June and her 100th Climax Control match at CC 241 on 14 July 2019. Santino wrestled her 140th career match at Summer XXXtreme VII on 25 August and her 100th Climax Control match at CC 243 on 28 July 2019.

Sunday will mark another milestone for Vargas as CC 248 will be her 70th career singles match - the most by a wrestler male or female in SCW history and ten more than the second-place female wrestler on the list, Jessie Salco with 60. Amy Santino, third on the list, competes in her 59th singles match this weekend. This will be Vargas' 54th singles match on Climax Control. Her most recent match on Climax Control happened on 11 August at CC 245, a singles defeat to Bobbie Dahl by pinfall. The loss ended a six-match unbeaten streak (5-0-1) since 30 June, a five-match unbeaten streak (4-0-1) on Climax Control since 19 May and a four-match win streak in singles. It was her first defeat since a pinfall loss to Lowri Moss in the main event of CC 234 back on 14 April.

Vargas has been pinned or submitted just three times in 2019, all singles defeats to Dani Weston, Lowri Moss and Bobbie Dahl at CC 229, CC 234 and CC 245 respectively. In 137 matches over the last 6+ years of her career, Vargas has been pinned or submitted 41 times by 26 different women (when accounting for singles, tag matches where she took the fall and multi-women matches either by elimination or one-fall). She has been pinned or submitted 31 times in 69 singles matches. Of those 26 women, Mikah, Crystal Zdunich, Jessie Salco, Melody Grace, Celeste North and Polly Playtime are the only women Vargas has lost to more than once, with North and Playtime twice (all singles matches), Salco three times (once each in singles, tag and six-woman elimination) Zdunich (three times in singles, once in triple threat) and Grace (three times in singles, once in triple threat) four times each, and Mikah five time (three times in singles, once in fatal four-way).

Vargas' most decisive losses is 12 in 2016 (in 24 matches). She had 10 in 2015 (22) and 9 in 2017 (23). She had 4 in 2018 (17). In 13 matches in 2019, she's only been pinned three times, matched only in her debut year in 2013 (14). 9 of those 14 matches this year ended in decision (4-3-2).

Vargas is 7-5-2 in on the year, 61-73-3 in SCW, 44-51-3 on Climax Control and 32-35-2 in singles, including 24-28-2 on Climax Control. Win Sunday will match her 8-win total from her first year in 2013 (8-6).

AMY SANTINO vs BELLA MADISON

STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES

This is both the second match and consecutive singles match for Madison and the first meeting between these Bombshells. For Santino, this will be her 20th match of 2019, her 9th singles match and 6th on Climax Control. 2019 will be the third consecutive year and the fifth time in eight years that the Punk Princess has wrestled in 20 or more matches in a single calendar year, becoming the third female wrestler to do that after Roxi Johnson from 2013-2015 and Mercedes Vargas, the only one to do so for four straight years from 2014 to 2017. Santino wrestled in 23 matches in 2013 (9-14), 22 matches in 2015 (4-18) and 2017 (12-10) and exactly 20 matches in 2018 (8-11-1).

In 2019, Santino is 3-5 in singles, 2-3 on Climax Control. Since winning her first two singles matches against Apple Coren by disqualication and Ella Singleton at CC 227 and CC 228 respectively on 3 and 10 February, she's gone 1-5 (0-3 on Climax Control) since 17 February. Santino competes in her 59th career singles match and her next one will have her join Mercedes Vargas and Jessie Salco (both in 2019) as the only female wrestlers to reach 60 career singles matches. Vargas competed in her 60th singles match on 3 February at CC 227 where she defeated Apple Coren. Salco competed in her 60th singles match on 14 July at CC 241 where she unsuccessfully challenged Vargas for the Bombshell Roulette Championship in Vargas' second defense.

Ahead of this match, Santino is coming off her third straight loss and second in a row on Climax Control: a six-person mixed tag team loss with Jessie Salco and World Heavyweight Champion Senor Vinnie against Griffin Hawkins and Roxi Johnson and Keira Fisher-Johnson of Team Hero in the main event of CC 246 on 8 September. Salco was pinned by Roxi Johnson in the match. Prior to this, Santino lost another mix tag match with Vinnie against Jack Asher and Emmie Ward of Culture Shock in the last four of the eight-team World Mixed Tag Team Championship Tournament to crown the then-vacant titles at CC 245 on 11 August after Santino was pinned by Ward. Culture Shock would go on to defeat Osborne and Charlotte Elliot of London Underground to win the tournament and the titles at Summer XXXtreme VII on 25 August. Santino's last win came at CC 243 on 28 July in a mixed tag win with Joshua Acquin over Kedron and Rinoa Williams by Acquin pinfall on Kedron Williams in the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Madison won her SCW, Climax Control and singles debut over Apple Coren by pinfall at CC 246 on 8 September, keeping Coren winless in 2019 with her ninth straight loss since Inception III on 13 January and both her sixth straight loss on Climax Control and seventh straight loss in singlea since CC 227 on 3 February.

Santino is 7-12 in 2019, 54-86-2 in SCW, 39-61-2 on Climax Control and 23-34-1 in singles.

This will be Santino's third attempt at win No. 40 to become the third female to reach 40 career wins on Climax Control. Roxi Johnson (2016) and Mercedes Vargas (2018) are the so far only female wrestlers to accomplish the feat.

SELEANA ZDUNICH vs KEIRA FISHER-JOHNSON

STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES

This is the first meeting between Zdunich and Fisher-Johnson. This will be the 16th match of 2019 for Zdunich and 11th singles match on the year. The Cat started the year unbeaten in her first five matches (4-0-1), but has gone 2-3 since. She's 6-3-1 in singles in 2019. Fisher-Johnson competes in her fourth match of 2019 and second singles match. She defeated Crystal Zdunich at Summer XXXtreme VII on 25 August in her most recent singles match.

Zdunich had a two-match win streak halted in a singles loss to Sierra Williams at CC 246 while Fisher-Johnson won her second straight match while on the winning side of a six-person mixed tag match with Roxi Johnson and Griffin Hawkins against the Metal and Punk Connection, the team of Amy Santino, Jessie Salco and World Heavyweight Champion Senor Vinnie in the main event. Roxi Johnson pinned Salco to win for her team.

Zdunich is 8-6-1 in 2019, 14-17-1 in SCW, 10-12-1 on Climax Control and 11-10-1 in singles. Fisher-Johnson is 2-1 in 2019, 23-18 in SCW, 14-14 on Climax Control and 8-9-1 in singles.

GRIFFIN HAWKINS vs JAKE RAAB

STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES

This is the second meeting between these two Superstars, a return match from CC 233 back on 7 April, which Raab won by pinfall, dealing Hawkins his first loss in his second match since his in-ring return. Hawkins competes in his 13th match of 2019 and 11th singles match where he's 8-2 in his past ten singles, losing only to Raab and Austin James Mercer (CC 240). Raab competes in his 17th match on the year and 15th in singles with an 8-6 record in his previous 14.

Hawkins was on the winning side of a six-person mixed tag match with Team Hero, the team of Roxi and Keira Fisher-Johnson against the Metal and Punk Connection, the team of Amy Santino, Jessie Salco and World Heavyweight Champion Senor Vinnie in the main event of CC 246. Roxi Johnson pinned Salco to win for her team. Raab defeated Roulette Championship number one contender Bill Barnhart at the same show.

Hawkins is 8-4 in 2019, 16-8 overall in SCW, 12-5 on Climax Control and 14-6 in singles where's he's won two straight. Raab is 8-8 in 2019, 12-11 in SCW, 10-8 on Climax Control and 11-8 in singles.

ROXI JOHNSON vs CHRISTINA ROSE

STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES

This is the first time Johnson and Zdunich will face each other in SCW.

Johnson competes in her sixth match of 2019 and third singles match on the year. She's split her previous two matches, defeating Apple Coren at CC 245 and unsuccessfully challenging Alicia Lukas for the World Bombshell Championship at Summer XXXtreme VII on 25 August. Zdunich competes in her seventh match of the year with a 2-3-1 record and having won just once since February. The Silver Screen Queen handed Cat Riley her first pinfall loss and ended her undefeated streak at Inception III on 13 January. She's gone 1-3-1 in her past five matches and winless in her past four (3 losses, 1 draw) with her only other win coming against Ella Singleton at CC 229 back in 17 February. Ahead of her fourth singles match, Zdunich is 2-1 in singles this year.

Johnson is coming off a victory in a six-person mixed tag match with Keira Fisher-Johnson and Griffin Hawkins against the Metal and Punk Connection, the team of Jessie Salco, Amy Santino and World Heavyweight Champion Senor Vinnie in the main event of CC 246 on 8 September. Johnson pinned Salco to win for her team. Zdunich lost a singles match to Fisher-Johnson at Summer XXXtreme VII on 25 August.

Johnson is 3-2 in 2019, 56-38 in SCW, 42-25 on Climax Control and 23-15 in singles. At the time of her then-retirement in 2016, Johnson held the records for most career wins and career television wins by a female wrestler with 53 and 40 respectively. In the three years since then, Mercedes Vargas had gone on to surpass both marks. She claimed the career wins record on 16 December 2018 and the career TV wins record earlier this year on 3 February. Vargas has 61 career wins and 44 wins on Climax Control since her last win on 4 August.

Zdunich is 2-3-1 in 2019, 37-40-3 in SCW and 23-21-1 in singles. The loss to Keira Fisher-Johnson made Zdunich the fifth Bombshell to reach 40 career losses after Jessie Salco and Amy Santino (both in 2015), Mercedes Vargas (2016) and Veronica Taylor (2017).

WORLD MIXED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: CULTURE SHOCK (Jack Asher and Emmie Ward) © vs CALEB STORMS and JESSIE SALCO

STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES

This will be the first defense for Culture Shock and the first meeting between these teams. Asher and Ward defeated Osborne and Charlotte Elliot of London Underground to win the then-vacant titles at Summer XXXtreme VII in 25 August.

Storms competes in his 17th match of 2019, fourth tag match and third in mixed tag. It's his first mixed tag since teaming up with Roxi Johnson in the Blast From the Past Tournament where they won in the first round but was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Alex Jones and Devona at CC 234. Storms is 4-3 in mixed tag matches having teamed up with Cadence Carter in 2017, Samantha Marlowe on four occasions in 2018 (twice in the BFTP and winning and defending the World Mixed Tag Team Championship) and twice with Roxi Johnson in the aforementioned BFTP this year. Salco is 5-10 in mixed tag team matches having lost her past two (CC 234, CC 246).

This will be the first time Storms and Salco are teaming up. Asher and Ward team up for the fourth time. They are 3-1 as a team. Asher is 3-2 in mixed tag overall, including his first round loss with Char Kwan in the 2019 Blast From the Past Tournament. Asher and Ward made their tag team debut on 9 June at CC 239, which was also Ward's SCW and Climax Control debut. They lost to Amy Santino and Senor Vinnie when Santino pinned Ward. Ward would return the favor two months later by pinning Santino as Culture Shock eliminated Santino and Senor Vinnie in the last four of the World Mixed Tag Team Tournament at CC 245 on 11 August.

Ahead of this match, Salco was pinned by Roxi Johnson in the main event of CC 246 during a six-person mixed tag team match as Salco, Amy Santino and World Heavyweight Champion Senor Vinnie lost to Griffin Hawkins and Johnson and Keira Fisher-Johnson of Team Hero. Storms lost to Bill Barnhart by pinfall in a Roulette Rules Rock and Street Fight at CC 247.

Salco has lost nine straight matches, including six straight on Climax Control, since mid-April and has just one win over the last five months. Her last win was during the first round of the Blast From the Past Tournament where she and Andrew Garcia eliminated Amanda Cortez and Jamie Dean at CC 232 on 31 March.

Salco has won three or more matches in her first seven years on the roster. Her career best is 9 in 2017 (9-13-1) while her lowest is exactly 3 wins in 2012 (3-7). She finished with 7 wins in 2014 (7-14). She had four wins in 2013 (4-16) and 2015 (4-13). She also has five wins on two occasions in 2016 (5-16-1) and 2018 (5-11). She is off to a career worse 1-13 record in 2019, having already reached double digit losses for the seventh straight year and matching her 13-loss total from 2017. She's three from matching her career high of 16 which she did twice in 2013 and again in 2016.

Storms has lost six in a row, including five straight in singles where he is 7-15 overall, since 9 June (CC 239). The six straight losses surpassed his old record of five straight losses from 2018-2019. His other singles defeats include Jake Raab at CC 239, Fenris at Into the Void VII by submission in a Lion's Den match, Griffin Hawkins at CC 242 in an unsuccessful challenge for the Roulette Championship in a Roulette Rules Mud Pit match and Ty West at CC 244. Storms' last singles win was over Kedron Williams at CC 237 on 26 May.

With a win at CC 248, Storms can win his third SCW title (he is also a former one-time Roulette Champion and World Mixed Tag Team Champion) and can join Mercedes Vargas and Kain as the only wrestlers to hold the World Mixed Tag Titles on more than occasion individually. Storms held the World Mixed Tag Titles once with Samantha Marlowe in 2018, holding the titles for three weeks. They won the titles from then-champions Kain and Mercedes Vargas at CC 214 on 26 August before losing them back to Kain and Vargas at Violent Conduct on 16 September in a triple threat also including Osbourne and Mackenzie Page of London Underground.

This will be Storms' 13th championship match in SCW where he's 2-10 having lost seven straight since the aforementioned loss at Violent Conduct last year. The win for Kain and Vargas made them the only two-time champions (after winning the titles at Summer XXXtreme) and was Vargas 11th championship in SCW and record fifth tag team reign, breaking a tie with Odette Stevens (a four-time World Bombshell Tag Team Champion) for most tag title reigns in history.

Salco competes in her 46th career title match. She's 11-32-2. She unsuccessfully challenged for the Bombshell Roulette Championship against then-champion Mercedes Vargas at CC 241 on 14 July in a Roulette Rules Hardcore Evening Gown match. Salco has lost in each of her past three title matches dating back to Inception III on 13 January when she lost the Honor Legacy Championship to Bombshell Roulette Champion Samantha Marlowe, then in her third reign, who ended her reign at 183 days/6 months in her fifth defense. Since Christian Underwood lifted an indefinite title ban on Salco handed down by Mark Ward in July 2018, she unsuccessfully challenged for the Bombshell Roulette Championship against then-champion Mercedes Vargas in the aforementioned CC 241 title match and was unsuccessful in winning the title in a six-woman Ultimate X Over the Pool match where Marlowe lastly eliminated Kate Steele to win. Vargas' reign ended after 56 days in her third defense when she was eliminated third by Bobbie Dahl. Salco was eliminated second in the match. The match also included Valentina from SCU.

Salco's last SCW title win was more than two years ago back at CC 183 on 18 June 2017 when she ended Chelsea Payne's lone reign at 35 days to capture her third Bombshell Roulette Championship and overall seventh championship. Win Sunday will make Salco only the third female wrestler after Amy Santino and Mercedes Vargas to reach eight championships, tying Santino for the second-most championship reigns. Vargas owns the record for most overall title reigns and the most by a female wrestler with 12 since passing Santino when Vargas captured her second World Bombshell Championship and ninth championship in September 2017. Vargas has since captured the World Mixed Tag Team Championship twice in 2018 and her record fourth Bombshell Roulette Championship in June of this year.

Storms is 3-13 in 2019, 11-30 in SCW and 11-20 on Climax Control. Salco is 1-13 in 2019, 38-103-2 in SCW and 25-74-2 on Climax Control.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: SENOR VINNIE © vs ALEX JONES

STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES

This is the second meeting between champion and challenger, a return match from 4 August at CC 244 won by Jones by pinfall. Vinnie competes in his 13th match of 2019 and 9th singles match where he's lost just twice, against Jones and against Jake Raab (at Into the Void VIII). Jones competes in his 13th career match and fourth singles match. His only loss came against Fenris at Summer XXXtreme VII while Jones has victories over Travis Levitt on two occasions (at CC 228 last year on 10 February, and CC 239 in 2019 on 9 June) and Senor Vinnie once (the aforementioned match at CC 244).

This will be Vinnie's third straight main event and sixth in his career.

Ahead of this match, Vinnie was part of the losing team during a six-person mixed tag team match as Salco, Amy Santino and World Heavyweight Champion Senor Vinnie lost to Griffin Hawkins and Johnson and Keira Fisher-Johnson of Team Hero at CC 246.

Jones is coming off a singles to Fenris at Summer XXXtreme VII. Jones suffered his first career singles loss in SCW bringing his 224-day/7 months singles undefeated streak to an end as well as his third straight pay-per-view loss following his SCW pay-per-view debut win at Inception III earlier this year: the aforementioned fatal four-way match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Blaze of Glory and a mixed tag loss with Devona against Kale Smith and Brittany Williams in the finals of this year's Blast From the Past Tournament at London Brawling II.

Vinnie competes in his third straight main event following Summer XXXtreme, where he earned his first career main event win in four tries (1-3). CC 248 is the first time he's competed in three straight main events since 2018 at High Stakes VIII (his SCW main event debut), and CC 222 and CC 225 on 9 and 23 December. Vinnie is 1-4 in main events. This is the second career main event for Jones. He lost a tag match with Austin James Mercer against Ty West and Fenris. West pinned on Jones in the contest.

Vinnie is 10-6 in 2019, 13-9 in SCW and 9-7 on Climax Control and 9-5 in singles. Jones is 8-4 in SCW, 7-1 on Climax Control and 3-1 in singles.
