SCW returns to pay-per-view on Sunday, 30 June, with the eighth annual Into the Void set to take place at GCU Arena on the campus of Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. We're three weeks from showtime with the go-home show next week. The match card is already coming into focus with seven matches already made over the last three weeks alone and a few more to be added next weekend at CC 240. All four singles titles will be defended, and three non-championship matches also make the card. Also, we'll see if the Blast From the Past curse can be broken as Kale Smith and Brittany Williams will try to become the first tournament winners to both walk out as champions.

Let's now take a look at what's in store for Into the Void VIII, and even make a few predictions for what else we may see in in the days and weeks to come on the road to Phoenix.

This page will be updated as new matches are announced.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: AUSTIN JAMES MERCER © vs KALE SMITH

Champion and challenger met in a main event tag match at CC 236 as Mercer teamed up with Alex Jones but were defeated by West & Fenris, though neither had the pinfall on the other. Mercer defeated Ty West in Primm, Nevada in the main event of CC 238 with the title on the line in his second defense, their fifth straight match. Mercer defends against 2019 Superstar Blast From the Past Tournament winner Kale Smith who isn't just challenging for the title at Into the Void but history too. Superstar BFTP winners had lost in three straight world title cash-ins until Fenris broke through last year at Summer XXXtreme. They've lost three of the last four overall (1-3). Jordan Williams (2013) and Fenris (2018) are the only men to succeed. Simon Jones (2014) is the only man to win the tournament while World Heavyweight Champion. Smith suffered his first loss of 2019 to Roulette Champion Griffin Hawkins in a non-title match. Mercer next faces Hawkins in a main-event Champion versus Champion non-title at the go-home show to Into the Void at CC 240 next week.

BOMBSHELL ROULETTE CHAMPIONSHIP: SAMANTHA MARLOWE © vs MERCEDES VARGAS

Marlowe and Vargas were in the main event tag match of CC 239 as Marlowe and Crystal Zdunich versus Vargas and World Bombshell Champion Alicia Lukas ended in a draw via double countout.

Marlowe and Vargas are no strangers to each other, having met at least once in each of the past three years since 2016. They meet again this year in what will be their 13th overall match and for the second time at Into the Void (2016). Vargas leads the singles series 2-1-1, but the head-to-head series belongs to Marlowe 5-3-4, including 3-2-2 in title matches.

WORLD BOMBSHELL CHAMPIONSHIP: ALICIA LUKAS © vs BRITTANY WILLIAMS

Lukas has held the World Bombshell Championship for over three months and already has two defenses under her belt since regaining the title earlier this year in a fatal four-way match at Blaze of Glory back in March, defeating Kate Steele at London Brawling II and Seleana Zdunich at CC 237.

Williams won the 2019 Blast From the Past Tournament with Kale Smith at Blaze of Glory. Crystal Zdunich, Williams' mother, is a 2016 BFTP winner, yet failed in her world title opportunity at Into the Void V in a triple threat match when Sam Marlowe defeated then-champion Mercedes Vargas and Zdunich, who Marlowe pinned to win her second World Bombshell Championship. With the exception of tournament winners Misty (2015) and Courtney Pierce (2018) who vacated their world title opportunity due to retirement and injury respectively, Bombshell BFTP winners are 1-3 all time. Evie Jordan (2018) is the only winner to date having defeated then-champion Crystal Zdunich at Summer XXXtreme in 2017.

As mentioned in the above caption, Lukas tag match with Vargas against Marlowe and Zdunich in the main event of CC 239 ended in a draw via double countout.

ROULETTE CHAMPIONSHIP: GRIFFIN HAWKINS © vs LACHLAN KANE

Hawkins and Kane were both in action at CC 239 with Hawkins defeated Kale Smith to end his undefeated streak and Kane defeating Blade Alexander.

Kane defeated Jack Asher, the original number one contender, to replace him in the Roulette Championship match at CC 237.

SIERRA WILLIAMS vs BOBBIE DAHL

This will be the first of three grudge matches set for the supercard. Both women won matches at CC 238. Williams defeated Jessie Salco by submission at CC 238. Dahl defeated Amanda Cortez by pinfall in her successful in-ring return.

KEDRON WILLIAMS vs BEN JORDAN

The issues between these two Superstars has gotten personal in recent weeks. This will also be a return match from London Brawling II which Jordan won by pinfall. Jordan defeated Travis Levitt by pinfall at CC 238.

LION'S DEN MATCH: CALEB STORMS vs FENRIS

Storms was defeated by former Honor Champion Jake Raab by pinfall at CC 239. Fenris spoiled Malachi's in-ring debut at CC 238 by technical knockout.

The grudge match between Storms and Fenris stemmed from Storms making fun of Fenris' title loss a and "The White Wolf" even passed up a title rematch for another match against "The Metal Storm" and former World Mixed Tag Team Champion. Well, that match happens here in Phoenix. Fenris faces Travis Levitt at CC 240.

Into the Void VIII predictions

WORLD MIXED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

At this time, the World Mixed Tag Team Champions Gamers Inc. have yet to be slated for a title defense on the card but that may change over the next three shows, possibly this weekend. There's a chance Senor Vinnie, the Golden Briefcase winner, might team-up with either Amy Santino or Jessie Salco, who got her months-long title ban lifted by Christian Underwood. London Underground is also in play.
